20 Best Turntable Speaker Combo (2022 Updated)

I decided to give the Spinbase a try when I was looking for a small turntable setup for the spare room. The reviews had been terrific, the price seemed reasonable, but I admit, my expectations weren’t that high.

I thought it might be a competent small system at best. I was actually astonished at the quality of sound this device offers. No, it’ll never match your big living room system with your towering speakers, receiver, and phono stage, but it delivers impressive, detailed and room-filling sound that’s perfect for any small room.

With speakers front, right and left, you can sit just about anywhere and enjoy the music. Bass and treble controls allow you to tweak the sound so it sounds much bigger than the size of this unit; in fact, I spun “Blue Monday” by New Order and was blown away by how much better the Spinbase handled the bass than I would have imagined! Best of all, you really can set your turntable right on top of this unit.

Really. Yes, most of the time that’s a no-no and a sure ticket to horrible vibration, poor tracking, and endless feedback. But turn the Spinbase up as loud as you want, and your turntable will perform beautifully! When playing, touch the front, left, and right.

you can feel the energy and vibrations. Touch the top, and. nothing. Vibrations AND sound are completely dampened, so it’s like having your turntable on a piece of furniture rather than an active amp/speaker system.

It also features Bluetooth in, so when not spinning your records, you can hook up your mobile device and stream. I’ve used many BT speakers over the years, and the Spinbase actually surpasses them all in terms of sound quality.

It’s very easy to hook up; plug it in, attach your phono cables (two inputs available, depending on whether your turntable has a built-in preamp or not), then set your volume and tone to your liking.

When using Bluetooth, take your device, turn it on, search for devices, and connect the Spinbase. That easy! (NOTE: if you go back to playing a record, then want Bluetooth again, you will have to re-pair, but it only takes a few seconds).

This unit feels like a true-game changer, proving you can still get great sound out of your records without spending a fortune or needing a lot of space. With the Bluetooth capability as well, it’s a true bargain at $299.

Yes, you can get a better-sounding setup, but not without spending far, far more. This was a terrific investment!.

So I bought this spin base thing. It sounds OK though not the quality I was expecting based on the write-ups. Unfortunately the turntable I have requires a ground wire with a jack. Though that is not the fault of the spin base per se, it did end up being a huge problem as I could not find a replacement jack that either fit or functioned properly.

That means I have an audible “hum” when I try to play records. Should have just gone with a cheap portable record player. Oh well.

This does exactly what it says. I use this in our bedroom and it takes up very little space -while providing excellent sound. For less than the cost of a top-of-the-line Bluetooth speaker, you can play your records without a stereo system and wirelessly stream music from other devices as well.

The simplistic design makes it even more attractive. Seriously, there is nothing not to like about this.

After using a cool Victrola turntable on vacation with friends, I came home and immediately ordered one. This website says that this model # VTA-65 has Bluetooth capabilities, but doesn’t specify that it’s NOT outgoing.

I did not want to hear music on the tinny speakers that are built-in with this model. Wasn’t able to confirm that I could return/exchange, so I’ll be gifting this one.

this record player is definitely worth the price. It works well, looks amazing, and sounds clean. my only drawback is that the sound of the turntable turning is sometimes a little too noticeable. while this is only when the music is quiet, it can be distracting.

other than that, this is an excellent record player.

The player arrived damaged. The hinge that held the clear cover on the unit was broken. So you can’t put the cover up without it falling off. That said – the unit actually turns records, which I cannot say for the last victrola I bought.

I can’t go through the process to return so I’ll use the damaged product.

Sound quality from its internal speakers is good enough for casual listening. I connected it to a hi-fi amplifier with quality large speakers and the reproduction is terrific. I’ve also used the USB facility to record a digital copy on a computer, ultimately to copy to a SD in a MP3 player.

This works very well with Audacity software – the recording level is just right. Well pleased.

This is the perfect turntable for those who want an easy to use record player, but also something that can be added to a stereo system if desired. It had everything: Bluetooth, speakers, audio output, and USB.

Plus, the sound quality is excellent for the size and type of speaker. Set-up is a breeze and my daughter and I were playing records within minutes of unpacking. The player also looks beautiful with the wood trim.

You just can’t go wrong. If there was a minus, it would be the lack of auto return or plastic needle arm, but I would expect this at the price point. Bonus: the needle arm has the soft drop feature.

I bought this for my son at Christmas. It worked well out of the box and the internal speaker sounded good. 3 weeks later the internal speaker and bluetooth stopped working and at full volume you couldn’t hear anything.

I am impressed with this buy. The records play as they should since I am a jazz record collector. mostly records from early 50’s. The sound is perfect as i don’t like sound thats been changed in so many of todays new reissued records on c.

Nowadays the vinyls are back and there are many reasons why I personally think this is happening. Starting by the cover, 12x12in dimension that allows you to enjoy the art and many other details that the composer/singer was willing to share, you cannot have that level of appreciation with a CD format.

And you are going to listen the sound in its pure format, Stereo conceived, nothing complicated, no fake sound, compressed or altered, only just pure stereo. My daughter was very interested moving from the digital format to the vinyl, but every time that she was trying to start my Old Stereo system, you know, my old school Turntable, the Phono pre-amp, the Amp, etc.

, she panicked. So I decided to get for her an entry level turntable where she can start her learning process in the vinyl world, and appreciate my huge collection of vinyls, and this Victrola Turntable does the job wonderfully.

This is not only a turntable but it is also an amplifier, with BT connectivity. She liked it as soon as I got it. The look, the size, it is not as big as the regular turntables, it fits perfectly on top of her nightstand, with a vintage look, and espresso color.

The setup was so simple, it comes with a round paper with instructions on top of the plate that you can follow the directions, and as I was expecting it is going to be, basically took out the plastic covers, connect the Power adapter, and in less than 10 min the system was ready to rock.

The clear dust cover has the option to close it while it is playing the record besides the fact that the turntable is a little smaller than the record, which is cool. It has built in Amplifier and 2 stereo speakers where you can hear the record while is playing, the sound is really good and the way it equalizes, plus the tone arm, and it comes with anti-vibration technology, which prevents the stylus to skip even if you turn the volume knob at the maximum, something that I was afraid might happen, but not in this case.

But the unit is also a Bluetooth amplifier, so if you connect via BT your cell phone or tablet, and look for Eastwood, you can stream your music through this amp, very cool. It does not have mic, it will only work as a BT Amp.

On the top front you have a Display Screen that will show you if it is in Phono mode or BT. But you also can do the opposite as well, you can stream your vinyls to external Bluetooth speakers, very easily.

The Stylus is the very well Brand Audio Technica, that has gained good reputation for its products. Everything comes pre setup, there is no option to adjust the counter balance tonearm, but for the tracking force is around 3.

5grams, which is within the specs. Sound is really good. No skipping tracks, or the annoying hissing noise. I think part of the success is the Audio Technica Conical Stylus, which has a good frequency response and as well the design of the Tone Arm.

It has the 3. 5mm headphone jack on the front top, and RCA Stereo connectors at the back, in case you want to connect directly to an amplifier, but it is a preamp signal, not phono, which is great so you don’t need the extra preamp in between.

I was surprise that it is capable to play any size record, Speed selector has the 3, 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM, not even my old turntable has the 78, however it is nice to have it. It also includes the 45 rpm adapter.

We played all type of music, Rock, Classical, etc. , and all my vinyls performed very good in this little fella, my daughter is very pleased on how easy it is to operate, and that she can stream her digital music as well.

Finally you can also stream your vinyls to external BT speakers or BT earphones by pressing the BT Out button, and pairing with the BT receiver, it is recommended that your receiver unit is closed to the Turntable while is in paring mode.

After the connection is done, you can placed almost anywhere, it has a really good range, specs states 30feet but I think it is a little more than that. So far I haven’t had any issues with the performance of this turntable, no distortion, no skipping tracks while playing.

The sound is powerful and pleasant. I am very pleased with this choice.

The Victrola Eastwood Signature Hybrid Record Player is a nice unit and has some great features. Following are what I have found to be the pros and cons: PROS: – This is a nice looking record player, with dark wood (Espresso color) and a textured grey finish.

It looks really nice on my TV stand under my mounted TV. – It is very easy to set up and operate. – I love the fact that I can connect it to my external Bluetooth Speakers via the Vinyl Stream Bluetooth Out feature.

I have connected it via Bluetooth to my TV soundbar and subwoofer and also to an external Bluetooth portable speaker. Connecting it to a nice speaker or soundbar/subwoofer is where it really shines, as the sound of my vinyl is great when played on the Victrola Eastwood and paired to one of these devices.

I have played multiple albums from different genres, loud and soft music, acoustic, male and female singers, etc. They all sound great! – You can also connect it to an amplifier as it has an RCA line out.

You will need to purchase the RCA cord, but this will easily allow you to play it through your amplifier. – It also has a 3. 5mm jack to listen via wired headphones, or you can also connect to any wireless headphones through Bluetooth from the record player.

– The record player has the ability to play 33, 45 and 78 rpm records with a slide switch to select the speed and there is a 45 rpm adaptor included. – There is also a switch that allows you to select either manual or auto stop.

This allows you to choose between the player automatically turning off at the end of the record, or continuing to run until you manually turn it off. I have mine set to auto and find this to be a nice feature.

– It has a cue lever to raise and lower the tone arm slowly. – You can also use the record player as a Bluetooth speaker without playing vinyl. Just pair it to your phone or other Bluetooth playing device and you can play music from your phone through the record player speakers.

Upon pairing, there are then controls on the record player that allow you to play/pause, skip forward or backwards, and change the volume. – The unit comes with a silicone slip mat on the turntable to reduce any vibration.

CONS: – The only real con with this system is the sound of the built in speakers. Obviously, based on the small size the speakers have to be to fit into this unit, I wasn’t expecting a big sound. The sound of the internal speakers was muddled, didn’t have much bass, and with much volume it also starts to distort.

However, as previously mentioned, by pairing it to an external Bluetooth speaker, you can get whatever type of sound quality you want based on the type and quality of the speaker you are pairing it to.

Once paired with an external speaker, the built in speaker turns off. Since sound is important to most people who play vinyl, you may be disappointed if your only option is to play your music through the built in speakers.

I highly recommend pairing to a good external Bluetooth speaker or connecting it to an amplifier and home stereo setup, as this will give you great sound. – Likewise, while the ability to connect using the built in speakers from your phone to stream music via Bluetooth is a nice added feature, if you hope to use this as your only Bluetooth speaker system, the sound of the speakers may not be what you are looking for if you want any kind of volume or like a heavier bass sound.

For my purposes, I really like the Victrola Eastwood, since I pair it with some external Bluetooth speaker options and get great sound. I would definitely recommend this record player in that type of setup.

This Victrola record player is a great choice for casual lovers of vinyl that want to listen to records wirelessly. It performs admirably and does a great job of bringing the legacy format of vinyl into the digital age.

Connected to quality headphones or speakers, it produces warm and impressive sound. This compact and versatile player is easy to use and place. It can be placed anywhere you have room, as long as it is near a power outlet.

It has the capability to play over speakers built into the player, wirelessly over Bluetooth, or using cables. I really appreciate the ample connection options that Victrola has provided! My personal preference is to use the Bluetooth transmitter to connect to a pair of reference quality over the ear headphones.

The Bluetooth connection was rock solid, and I had no problem connecting and maintaining a connection. To share music with others, I was also able to easily connect to an external Bluetooth speaker. I found the sound quality of the Bluetooth connection to be excellent.

It is virtually indistinguishable from a wired connection and superior to using the internal speakers. The sound quality of the internal speakers is adequate, but do yourself a favor and use quality headphones or external speakers, you won’t regret it.

Records offer a unique sound quality and need quality sound drivers to really shine. I also tested the player with the headphone jack and as expected, the sound quality was excellent. I won’t use the unit that way often because I don’t like being tethered to the player, but the headphone jack can be connected to any speakers that have a headphone audio input.

There is also a pair of legacy RCA audio outputs on the back of the unit. While not being marketed as portable, I think the small size makes the player easy to transport. The dust cover protects the player, but can also be removed to facilitate being placed in areas that have a tight fit.

Victrola put much of the engineering effort into the really important aspects of this player. It features a quality Audio Technica AT-3600LA magnetic cartridge that really makes a difference. There are better record players out there, but only for much more money.

If you are looking for a nice entry level Bluetooth record player, look no further.

I’ve never had a vinyl record turntable before but have a few vinyls from an inheritance, so I’ll admit this was a learning experience for me. We did inherit the player too but it’s very old and broken so never got a chance to actually play any, so I was excited to give this a spin (pun intended!) Upon taking everything out of the box there’s a few things to put together, which for a newbie like myself was a bit daunting but not difficult.

I made sure to study the instructions thoroughly, so I did not miss anything. Mainly you put the big metal platter onto the turntable deck and the silicone slip mat on top. There is a belt under the platter that needs to be stretched so that it goes around the motor on the top left of the deck.

They provide a piece of ribbon taped to the platter that will help you get the belt attached. Once that is attached then I was confused because the manual says you need to adjust the tonearm “or damage may occur to the unit or records” (scary!) but there was another note that says this is already done for you so I just skipped that step, removed the shipping foam from the weight and tonearm, and connected the monitors via the line out cable included.

It would be nice if the manual itself mentioned that everything is setup for first time use. The dust cover is easily attached via removable hinges or can be completely left off if you’re installing in another cabinet.

Again, I found a discrepancy in the instructions as they say the hinges come preattached to the back of the unit but mine were found in a small box labeled accessories. At this point I’m impressed with how the system looks and nothing seems out of the ordinary except for that there are only 3 rubber feet on the bottom which due to my inexperience with turntables I’m not sure if there’s a reason to not include 4 but it makes the whole thing a bit wobbly.

I don’t think the feet are adjustable and couldn’t find anything in the manual about it, which seems odd because I would think you would want adjustable feet so things could be made level Now, when it comes to playing records I found that the included monitors sounded ok, but are not wow by any means.

They can fill a medium sized room but are a little bright and uninspiring. There’s not much bass at all. I actually settled on using the vinyl stream feature and listening on a good pair of Bluetooth headphones.

The monitors themselves also support Bluetooth if you needed to use them with a different source. Now here’s where both my inexperience and the poor instructions hurt me. I didn’t realize until SEVERAL DAYS of using this thing that there is a small little lever (called a cueing lever thanks to Googling) to help you gently move the tone arm precisely on and off of the record versus dropping it by hand.

I scratched a perfectly brand new record (yup heard that authentic record screech sound and all) because I was unaware of this feature. The instructions said use the “lift lever” which I thought was just the little lever on top of the cartridge for your finger.

Pros: Beautiful Espresso Aesthetic All-in-one System Weight and anti-skate tuned out of the box Phono Output Switch Cons: Instructions could be better Is not stable, bit wobbly Monitors are bright Overall – The turntable is great for anyone who wants a good midrange setup: affordable, produces great sound and the overall package just looks great.

However, for a more pleasing experience you could just get the turntable instead and pair it with better monitors or a stereo system.

This is a really really nice little unit that does everything it says it will do. I had some dealings with the company and their customer service is amazing. I cant say enough good about them. Now for the people who complain that the sound quality isnt what they expected, what exactly did they think they were getting at this price point? Even back in the day we wouldve gotten a graphic equalizer and a preamp if we wanted louder and more defined sound.

Even without those things this sounds good, not as much bass as the children would like today, but depending on the media youre using it registers more or less bass accordingly. Running my tv and computer through it was a joy.

I connected a pair of powered speakers to it which immediately gave it a deeper and richer sound. So I would have to say that anybody complaining about the sound quality, well, Im not gonna take them seriously and I dont see why anyone else should either.

Very happy to have taken a chance on this Boyton, model BT-28SPW. Was concerned because of the low price, but am actually now considering getting a 2nd one for a different room; although it’s small/light enough to move.

My only improvement would be a battery option. I’ve tried all the features and they all work great. I would advise placing the unit on a vibration pad of some kind, i. e. foam, cardboard or even a book.

The phono and radio tend to have background noise while recording on a drive otherwise. After doing that, the sound was just fine. I have not recorded ONTO a cassette or cd, but have recorded FROM all functions to a usb.

Don’t expect Bose quality sound out of something so inexpensive. However, for just every day use and moving music, etc. to a usb drive to take with you. it’s great! Definitely would recommend and like very much!.

This is a very simple stereo to use and for the price you pay I feel that you get a good value. The main thing that I was looking for was a turntable combo and this definitely has all that. I found that the sound for the turntable was the weak point (perhaps quality of the stylus)? But I don’t think you will find an easier unit to operate — everything is on the front panel.

I read one review that says it doesn’t play full size records but that’s not true — yes, the record is larger than the platter but the lid is ‘etched’ properly to let the record spin when closed. You just can’t have the speakers right up against the unit (they are detatched anyway).

First of all, this comes **with a CD** with recording instructions and software. Last time I had a computer that came with a CD drive was around 2012. Secondly, I expected from the product description that digital conversion would be onboard the record player.

Older images I’ve seen of this record player have a RECORD button, just stick in a flash drive and record your album to mp3, right? No, that’s not how this works. This requires that you connect a computer and learn how to use very geeky open source software — **if** you can even get that software running if you have a Mac.

You can get around the “no CD drive in recent history” problem by downloading the app from audacity’s website, but even on a computer with the proper specs as stated on the Audacity website, the app not only does not launch but completely hangs up your Mac requiring a hard shutdown.

You will spend hours on the world wide web trying to find the answer to these problems and you will have to register on the Audacity forums, post your dilemma and hope that someone gives you an answer.

Then if you can ever get Audacity to launch you will spend hours learning how to convert to mp3s from vinyl. Again, it’s an open-source software title with no support from Victrola, and this is NOT an app for beginners and you will spend hours learning how to use it.

If you only want a record/CD/cassette player & radio. from the other reviews it seems folks are happy with this cute product. But if your goal, like mine, is to digitize your vinyls and especially you are on Mac — or even on Windows but don’t have a lot of time to learn an exceedingly geeky app called Audacity with no support from Victrola for their product — look around for something different.

I’ll be very sadly returning my cute Victrola to Best Buy and will keep researching an easy way to convert my albums.

Overall I really like this machine. The sound is pretty good, and it does almost everything I want. It would be awesome with CDs if I could press random for songs or something like that, and the cassette controls are a bit lacking, but to be honest I really only see myself using the Bluetooth and record the most.

Wood wise it came in great condition with one little mark on a corner. The grain is lovely and not a cheap cover. The reason for the star off is that the hardware to download records is on a CD. Almost no computers have CD slots anymore (well, laptops at least) and I think a USB would have been wiser.

They also did not inform you of the CD so I assumed it was something my pc could run, and when I got it I realized I would have to borrow someone else’s CD/DVD player or buy my own which is another $25 dollars.

The other reason for the star is Walmart keeps changing the price from $99 to $149 every week (I got it for $99). Just pick a price Walmart! Finally, Walmart is great with returns, I accidentally bought the 6-in-1 and they accepted it wonderfully.

I wanted one of these for years. So happy to find this one. My husband bought it for me for Christmas. It is way worth the money. The sound is amazing!!! It was packaged so good I didn’t want to repackage until Christmas so we put it out as one of my early presents.

It even has the Me TV channel with all the oldie songs which some regular players don’t even have. Thank you for a great record player!!!.

Cd player NEVER worked right from the start. SCRATCHED the cd and wouldn’t open tray without help. Tape deck does not stop on its own so a risk to snapping tapes. The record player was working until I did not use it for a month and now it will not work at all.

This is a WASTE of your hard earned money. Help out your local thrift shop instead. Darn shame, Jensen is a throw away product and dishonorable brand name now.

I’m so disappointed. I had Read the reviews and they were mostly positive. However I set it up and put on an album and it skipped. Allot. I tried cleaning the album and needle still skipped. I tried multiple albums and they all skipped.

I can’t tell you if the cd player or cassette worked (I was afraid at that point of it shredding my tapes). The radio worked fine and the speakers were fine. I went back in and read the reviews again and I see many new ones complaining about records skipping (maybe it’s being manufactured some where else now or cheaper arm or needles?) don’t buy it.

On the upside the Walmart app makes it so easy to do a return and took 3 mins to return at the store.

Normally, I don’t write long reviews, but I think it will be helpful here. I call this stereo unit the “Jensen KISS”, or “Keep It Simple System”. There are things it does or doesn’t do that I hope to cover as much as possible here.

If you are looking for a big, booming/heavy bass sound in a small system, this stereo is NOT for you!!! It is a small stereo system good for a small apartment/ office/ bedroom. I was very lucky to get a stereo that worked “out of the box”, because many don’t these days.

This stereo has a turntable, CD player (playing one disc at a time), Cassette player on the LEFT SIDE of the unit, AM/FM Radio, and an Aux. input on the front for a MP3 or iPhone. The Cassette player has a “single button” for fast forward and ejecting the tape.

I am not crazy about this feature as you can’t rewind the tape, BUT I will say the sound quality is quite good, so I will overlook this as I’m not a big cassette user as I was 20 years ago. The radio worked ok.

the AM antenna is built INTO the unit, and the FM antenna is located on the back and can be strung out about six inches or so for better sound quality for FM radio listening. The CD player is single drawer unit only!! The sound is quite good.

The finish on the stereo is black “Faux Wood” and it does look quite nice. so it is silver and black, and has a classic look. We now come to the speakers and turntable. There is a diamond needle and I believe a ceramic cartridge that holds the needle in place.

(A Magnetic cartridge has a warmer sound). You will find the mid to high range of sound quite pronounced in this unit, and there is some bass, but not a great deal. even with the “Bass Boost” button on.

These are small speakers and between the ceramic cartridge and these speakers, the sound reminds me of the stereo’s we had back in the 1960’s. I’m a 60+ baby boomer, so I am used to this sound, but for someone 18-45 years old, it would probably take some getting used to! The user manual is a good one and a very careful reading of it BEFORE setting up and using the unit will keep you out of a lot of pitfalls!! YouTube also has several very helpful 2-7 minute videos that you should watch before buying the unit.

I need to add something very important here to save your speakers: There is quite a bit of volume difference between the CD, Turntable, Radio and Cassette players, so MAKE SURE you turn the volume DOWN BEFORE you use another music source!! If you don’t, you might blow the speakers as they are only 2 watts each I believe.

The only thing I can say I really am not keen about this stereo, is there is NOT a knob for volume adjustments, but push buttons! This is not too great as far as I am concerned. Also remember, the turntable is NOT fully automatic! It will stop at the end of the L.

P. but you move it back to the resting arm. I did buy this unit from Wal-Mart, and did buy the 2 yr. extended warranty for $8. 00 If you can afford to, I think it is a good idea. Very important: This unit DOES NOT do any recording.

only playback!!! If you are looking to record L. P’s or Cassettes to CD’s, this is NOT the unit you will need!!!! So in finishing: It is a good system for us older folks who want to spin the old L. P’s , and 45’s or even cassettes again and are not too fussy about the sound quality, and don’t need lots of volume.

A young person might enjoy it if they just want something in their bedroom and don’t want to drive their parents or neighbors crazy!! There is a headphone/ear bud jack in the front to help with personal listening!!!! 🙂 I Hope this info helps with your search, and good luck!!.

I’m happy with the versatility, the aesthetics, and the size/ weight of it, but it’s definitely lacking in quality. Good for a novice music lover/ collector (would be great for teens), who will one day want to invest in an upgrade, perhaps.

The plastic outer shell seems flimsy and as though it might break easily under a heavy hand or slight bump against a wall. The sound quality is no better than your run of the mill bluetooth speakers, and it only pairs with devices that PLAY music (phones, tablets, laptops); not with other speakers or headphones/ airbuds.

There is a headphone jack on the top, left corner (if you don’t mind being tethered to it), but no other ports or options to connect better speakers to it. I’m still happy to have a working CD player and record player again, but I can see wanting to upgrade to better quality products again one day… even if they’re not in the same all-in-one unit.

I was leery on purchasing this item because I couldn’t find any reviews for it or the one in red, so I took a leap of faith. I’m sure glad I did! I didn’t want to just purchase any turntable, but one that had multiple uses in a certain price range.

This stereo has great volume sound, plays cd’s, am and fm radio, hooks up through bluetooth and mp3, and plays old vinyl records in multiple sizes. The options are endless when it comes to playing music.

I bought this item for my husband for his birthday and he gives it 5 stars too. I think one of the many details he likes is that the display is bright blue and it doesn’t have an antique feel to it, but rather a classic retro rockin’ roll feel.

Cool Gadget! This is a gift for my nephew, who just graduated! It is a nice looking, and great sounding stereo. Cool how these small speakers sound so good nowadays! The kid is taking it to college this fall.

I was very excited to receive this system, I needed something small and easy for my kitchen workspace, away from my main stereo. Well, unfortunately, almost nothing works correctly on it. The cassette deck does not play well, sometimes it plays at 2x speed, sometimes the sound washes in and out, sometimes it won’t rewind or fast forward without a horrible grinding gear noise.

The CD player generates an unlistenable amount of horrible noise on top of the music if you listen through the poorly shielded headphone jack, and a different horrible noise if you listen through the RCA outputs.

The record player sounds thin and awful, especially when compared to the CD player sound, which at least has some bass under the noise. There is no EQ feature either, in case you wanted to add any bass or subtract any treble.

The SD card recording feature that they advertise is factory preset to record only at 128 kbps MP3, the worst recording quality possible. This gives you an indication of the quality of the build on this stereo system.

Very disappointed with this, and having to work very hard to get the purported 30 Day Money Back Guarantee to take effect, they have required me to take videos and make audio recordings of the system working improperly, when I really just want my money back to try and find a system that works.

Avoid.

I purchased this unit in April of 2021. The reason I purchase it was to play my records. I love the unit for this purpose. The CD player leaves a bit to be desired. When playing my CD’s there is a low rumbling noise that comes through the speakers.

It is only on CD’s and it can be heard most prominently on softer music. If you are buying this unit for the record player and radio, it is great. But, if you plan on playing a lot of CD’s on it you may want to consider a different unit.

Unit arrived broken, majority of cassette tapes wouldn’t play and when one did play, it would only have sound coming out the right speaker. Vinyl player arm looks like it was glued back on after being broken as well.

Customer service is slim to none when contacted about this. They are very slow at responding, it takes several days. They’re not located in the United States, they’re located in China. Asked for a refund and they are fighting me on it despite the proof I showed of the unit being broken as stated before.

AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE BROKEN, TERRIBLE PRODUCTS AND LOVED BEING SCAMMED! IF YOU NEED A VINYL PLAYER, GET ONE FROM AMAZON OR A REPUTABLE SELLER!.

I will start that it was easy to setup and everything worked good out of the box. I like that it uses only 1. 4Watts when running, which is good. When it in standby it really uses zero power too, which is great because other audio equip manufactures these day are not always that good.

Other features which are nice. You can plug in a wired cell ear buds in the back of the unit , that works well. I primarily bought this version because it had blue tooth. Which works, but it does not transmit as far as my other blue tooth items.

It barely makes it 15 feet. at 20 ft it breaks up the audio. I wish it had a better WIFI transmitting antenna. Maybe next year they can add a 3 inch antenna port at the back, or improve the WIFI. I can transmit to the next room but that is about it.

The audio quality is worse on Bluetooth then using the direct wired phono output directly in to the included speakers. This low audio is typically expected for all Bluetooth. The phono output cable is a bit short at 25 inches.

So you will need an extender cable, or longer cable if you want to connect the speaker directly. When I use the Blue tooth speaker in the room in Bluetooth mode. And I have the player volume is very low, I can hear the mechanical stylus at low volume too, but 200milli Seconds ahead of the main Bluetooth speaker.

This is like a reverse echo, somewhat annoying. To solve the problem. I needed to connect the included speaker using the provided 25 inch cable to my record player directly. That solved the delay problem.

The Wifi speakers battery life seems very long as compared to other speakers that I have, and they seem efficient too. But I like the more expensive designer JPL Bluetooth speaker quality more. This BlueTooth speaker is a bit of a plain black box, not a designer model.

I believe the audio tracking and quality can improved with a better $50 stylus. I will wait for next year for that upgrade.

I’ve been researching budget-friendly turntables for months. Most of the turntables in the less than $100 range are mass-produced scam items that only look nice. The extra $100 or so for this one is definitely worth it.

The turntable and its accessories are packaged nicely and it’s incredibly easy to assemble and use. There is a version of this product without the speaker, but it’s worth the extra $40 if you don’t already have one.

It would have been $230 for me to get a quality speaker and turntable separately. I tested this with a record that had questionable reviews and found that I experienced none of the skipping issues that others mentioned.

There was a slight crackle on two of the tracks, but I’m going to boil it down to a pressing issue. I certainly did not have the problems that most of the other reviewers described. Long story short, buy this one.

Cheaper, more aesthetically pleasing turntables are not worth warping your records. This brand seemed to be out of stock for several weeks almost everywhere I searched, so I’d purchase sooner rather than later.

I searched very carefully for a record player. This was my turntable, but I didnt want to compromise on sound or quality. The speaker was the feature of this that sold me. The sound is more than enough for my bedroom and the Bluetooth reaches further than other devices I am used to.

I wouldnt belittle this product by saying its a good starter turntable. I think its a great turntable full stop. Im mot trying to sound like a sumo for this record player, it was just such a relief that I didnt waste $200.

I purchased this for my wife as a gift. It is our first record player, but this brand was recommended by a family member with more experience. It was pretty easy to set up and start using without any previous experience.

The quality is much better than cheaper options, and seems to be great quality for the price. It came packaged well and with easy to follow costum instructions by turntable.

I bought this turntable package as a recommendation from a friend because I wanted a record player that I could use for a long time without damaging my records. This was so perfect since I didn’t have existing speakers to connect to it.

I have to say right off the bat, we only use this Victrola Eastwood Signature Hybrid Record Player with classic music for sound, not heavy metal, rap or really anything with lots of hard hitting music.

My wife and I are old fashioned and wanted a good, light, and portable record player for our Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet and more oldies. Looking beautiful when pulled out of the box, we removed the needle guard and got the first record playing in less than 2 minutes.

Once the sound started, we knew right then this was a perfect fit for us in our home. Sound is perfect, clear, crisp and not over amplified at all. For our oldies, it is a great player when needed and takes up very minimal space.

The Bluetooth feature works, I made sure of that, being easily connected through my phone and works as it should. Sound is fine through BT and for what I tested, it sounds great but not what we wanted it for, we wanted it for the VINYL!!! The looks of the Victrola Eastwood Signature Hybrid Record Player is a classic 60s or 70s design with today’s tech wrapped up in one.

It received many comments and high remarks from family and friends over the Thanksgiving weekend while it played Christmas music from the greats like mentioned above and more like Bing Crosby. Victrola knocked it out of the park with this affordable product that looks like a $400 record player from an high end audiophile store, not an everyday place like Best Buy.

The Bluetooth streaming works even better when paired with a larger sound system. This was tested through my full 7. 1 system and wow, this is where the unit shines for quality sound from vinyl. Just amazing BT sound quality from this player, not one compression issue or sound issue what so ever.

This is truly an 10/10 product for us and I do not see it not being the same for you.

I’ve tried calling and emailing for assistance with returning this defective item but no one is answering the phone and the email/chat for help option is not working either. The turntable is very wobbly.

I will not be able to use this item. I will not be able to leave my house to return this item due to high risk for covid19. I need someone to pick this item up for return. I would at least like a shipping label to be sent to me via mail as I do not have a printer.

After owning a heavy vinyl record player I am greatly enjoying the lightweight design of this Victrola. The sound quality is great, bluetooth works great, the speed is consistent. The only things I don’t care for are based on my opinions only.

1. I wish it had a lid to protect the vinyl. 2. I wish the arm would return to its stand automatically after the record has finished. But like I said those are opinions and don’t affect my scoring for this review.

Returned this product after trying it for 20 minutes. Really cheaply made. Brand new records were skipping constantly, older ones too. This was the most prevalent reason but there were more. Do not buy!.

I purchased this ironically to use purely as ‘a deck’ but primarily because I liked the ‘retro-appeal’ of the stand-alone ‘Old-Skool’ record-PLAYER requiring just loudspeakers and a record! I really loved the idea of a single-unit but knew this was only for future convenience hence this player has been partnered with a CA-CP2 phono-stage (reviewed earlier) and coupled into a CA-651A feeding a CA-651W driving some 80th Edition ‘Wharfedale Dentons’.

For the review though I shall comment on it as a ‘stand-alone’ player. Using it with only ‘the Dentons’ connected, the bass response was overwhelming and reproduction was vibrant if used with the ‘loudness on’, however without it – it was a trifle dull.

The added ‘bass/treble’ tone controls added an abundance of colour, so these remained in the neutral/flat/default position (controlled via remote only). The tone-arm was light and responsive but sometimes it would ‘skate on lead-in’.

The player is fully PnP and set-up ‘to-go’ requiring just the belt fitted. The rim belt is the only ‘pit-fall’ in that ‘clumsy-hands’ hand a habit of knocking-it-off when changing records and it is quite fiddly to refit – hence for those whom require to change 33/45 it may present a slight issue as the speed is altered via shifting on the motor.

The motor is a single-speed unit (AC synchronous) fed via a AC generator from a DC source (very similar to the ‘speed-box’ but the ‘clock-frequency is fixed: hence the motor runs accurately at one speed only thus requiring pulley/belt-shift).

Personally I find the OM cartridge a lovely entry and like it better than the 2M because it is so responsive to groove-placement upon record. I would add though that the ‘stock-platter’ was never used as I purchased the ‘Acrylic-it E’ platter and the ‘Ground-It E’ plinth direct from ‘Pro-Ject’ as an ‘after-market upgrade’ adding an additional £200 to the total cost although this was purely for my own pleasure and aesthetic appeal and although there is a ‘marked-improvement’ these ‘after-market/bolt-ons’ are neither necessary nor required.

Mine is in gorgeous ‘pillar-box gloss-red’ and simply-put – I am in-love with it. NB: I have neither used the ‘line-in nor the Bluetooth facilities’ so I can-not pass comment.

We have had the turn table for a few weeks now I am pleasantly impressed. The fit and finish is good, sound quality is better than expected and the turntable is easy to setup and use. The tonearm cam pre-configured from Project making it a plug and play affair to get listening.

But. Just be aware that the Bluetooth and Line in inputs as well as the volume control functions will only output over the speaker output connections. So, this is fine to drive a passive (not powered) set of speakers but you will lose some functionality if you connect to active speakers.

Not a problem, just an excuse to pick up some nice bookshelf speakers. (Klipsh I think, can’t decide) In the meantime, I am enjoying the Juke Box E, playing my old vinyl through my powered studio monitors.

Too bad my kids can’t steam their EDM from their phones. I guess well have to listen to my Eagles albums again 😉 JR.

I have been looking to upgrade my hi fi system for a while now, and richer sounds gave me a whole range of options to choose from. The service was fantastic – I spent 2 hours trying out different turntable / amp / speaker combinations – and the staff at Milton Keynes were able to cater to my needs.

The outcome is new sound system that I am chuffed to bits with. The sound quality is amazing and I can’t stop playing different music through it and hearing details that were previously inaudible through my old system.

The Ion turntable is good in just about every way – bluetooth-able, has headphone jack (mini), and even an app I haven’t yet tried to make MP3s on your computer. The built-in speakers aren’t great, but you can use the bluetooth or connect the headphone out to real ones.

A small complaint: the needle, will it wear out the few vinyl LPs I have within two years?.

Very happy with the look and performance of the unit. Besides the ability to transfer wax to my computer, the blue tooth allows me to send sound to my sound bar. The set up of the unit and connection was very quick.

Only short coming I see is that it recommends purchasing an additional needle for 78 rpms.

This product exceeded my expectations; small enough to fit on a book-shelf, but designed to play all sizes / types of vinyl records. The ease of use is a definite bonus. Although I haven’t had an opportunity to use the Bluetooth function, I regularly listen to a number of stations on the embedded FM receiver.

Although many products of this size that are multi-functional tend to have poor sound quality, the built in side speakers provide a very good listening experience.

Youre not going to get tech talk from me. Its not what I know. I just know that with a slight adjustment here and there I was able to get a nice clear sound out of my records. They sound better than ever.

Since a lot of the records I own have fuzz and other guitar noises it took a while to see if it was the turntable. It wasnt. The only nit I have tp pick is the hinges were wide enough to attach to the player itself.

I didnt want to force them on or they might crack the cover. I called and they were going to send me another pair. Im pretty satisfied.

This turntable is awesome. From the beautiful wood finish to the killer sound quality, this turntable is affordable but at the same time is no cheap piece of junk! I was very impressed with the clarity of sound , but also the fact that i didnt have to perform any adjustments out of the box.

Just plug it in and away you go. This unit has the auto stop feature which is nice, the only thing missing for me is the auto return. I have been spoiled with that feature on my old technics turntable, but if that is a negative, its the only one from me, other than that i absolutely love this unit!.

This item does NOT have BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS as advertised – nor can you send a signal from the record play to any other bluetooth speaker. It is a BT RECEIVER only – for when you want go play your phone through your record player / which might have been rad in 80s and the 90s – but a little impractical bu today’s standards.

And don’t attempt to get support they’ll take you round in circles and you’ll end up at the beginning with a great working record player that DOES NOT HAVE BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS.

This is a awesome little turntable I hooked up my Spotify from my phone in no time played some vinyl very good for the price. Two things let it down and there only small. 1 is that there is no cover 2 no clear instructions where the drive belt is.

Great sound from this little LP setup. Easy to connect phone via bluetooth and play Spotify through speakers. Good value. Would be better with a lid to keep dust off turntable.
