This dock is amazing. Because it’s magnetic you’d think it wouldn’t be sturdy or would come off from the glass but it never falls off the magnets. The only complaint I have is that after awhile it turns a little green because the turtles will sit and poop on it and it’s not easy to scrub off, it causes a stain.
I also would say that if you have a baby turtle this product probably isn’t for your pet. Their little legs can provide enough of the swim/push to get themselves up onto the dock. Besides that this dock is great and I highly recommend it.
Excellent platform but if your turtles are medium sized then you may find the magnets not strong enough. Apart from that it’s really good & easy to clean x
Its a good all round design and product but it’s only floor is that magnets that are included. They let down the entire design as I watch my “corner” peice floating around the middle of the tank.

This product is just the right size for a small turtle. The anchoring system also works very well. The problem is that the surface is too slick for the turtle to get traction to climb up the ramp. The surface seems like it should have some type of coating to make it “not so smooth”.
Mine came with what looked like the start of some type of coating. I wonder if a step was missed in the manufacturing process. The turtle needs a rougher surface to be able to climb out of the water.
Anyway, just be aware that you might need to craft some way to let the turtle get traction on this turtle dock.

I followed the super simple directions setting it up. The shelf itself doesn’t stay level. I have to find a way for it to work and it’s not worth returning. Once I fix it my geckos will be very happy with a new place to get to.

This isn’t a bad piece and my Mushu has enjoyed it, however I think she may outgrow it as a basking/hide spot quickly. I know the advertising picture has an adult bearded dragon on it, but I would recommend this to smaller reptiles.
BD’s grow so quickly. Mushu has gained 10 grams in two weeks. I just got this piece in the beginning of May but I feel like I will soon be looking for a bigger basking spot. Otherwise, it retains heat well.
This fits so tiny and perfectly into a corner it’s not really tiny but tiny are compared to most large hides that they sell for reptiles! My bear to dragon always loved going underneath and just sleeping I forgot all about this hide until this app reminded me! If my bearded dragon my way I love it ! She’s picky and only has one hide out of three hides in her tank that she ever chooses to go and sit on when this was in there this was one of them.

So Petco has great costomer service. I bought two of the small and they were fantastic except 1 was broke so they sent me a replacement with zero hassle. The replacement however came and looks like it came from the discard pile, it was misshapen and an awful green insted of the nice stone grey color like the first two and advertised photos.
I can’t help but to wonder if that was on purpose so they don’t lose money but I will give them the benefit of doubt. If not for those those things happening I would rate it 5 stars insted of 4. I would definitely recomend the normal product and petco.

Our bearded dragon blade is obsessed with his and he’s always laying on it, basking under his light. It is definitely a great material because it doesn’t get too hot and it has such a cool feeling to it so that way he can still get his heat but also not get too overheated.
The price is definitely worth it and it’s very sturdy we’ve had ours for almost 4 years now.
These basking platforms are great. They can be used in water, out of water, or halfway submerged. They have nice little steps to climb and also a great sized hiding spot underneath that is accessible from multiple sides but still plenty hidden if your reptile is more of an introvert!.

I have an 11 inch Red Eared Slider and he loves it. Because my turtle is a little heavy so I was worried if this dock would sink in water by his weight (used to have size L and it sank in water when my turtle was on it) but no, this one keeps my turtle dry and happy! I have had turtles for most of my life and I’m 15. All of the turtles I’ve ever had (Mississippi map yellow belly red eared sliders) loved going up in the topper. They would swim a little bit and when they wanted they would go inside the topper and chill.
There is only 2 problems I see with this product and maybe it’s just me because I have big turtles. The ramp is too slippery and the entrance is too small. I have had no problems yet but maybe in the future I will have to find a new remedy for them to bask when they get larger.
Other than the ramp and entrance space the product is definitely worth buying. Only its kind of expensive for some plastic and metal grid. Thank you for reading.
Bought it for my 40 gallon breeder tank, did not fit. Too small for my tank’s wider margins. Luckily it fit my 30 gallon tank for my other turtle. Easy to put together.

I love this because if you have a turtle this turtle dock is a must and at some point you will need more suction cups. They can get pretty dirty being in a turtle tank and they are easy to replace when you need new one.

I bought this the other day just looking for a bowl to put mealworms in for Marty, but I figured they might like a rock styled hide, I had one of those coconut ones, a cardboard box, and an old tuperwear before for a humid hide, and none of them really held heat well.
The girl at the counter said she had one for each of her leopard geckos and they loved it, so I figured that was a good sign. Brought it home, washed it up, replaced Marty’s cardboard hide with it. And they love it.
That lil baby leo sneaks up under it all the time, and when they’re not there, they’re crawling all over the top. It’s always warm to the touch, fantastic at transferring heat, and the mealworms cant climb out of the bowl.
My leo LOVES this hide. Initially she was skeptical, but now she’s either hanging out on top or hiding out inside the den. She loves to bury herself in the substrate for warmth. It’s directly under her heating lamp so it stays nice and cozy for her.
There is a lot of room inside as well. 100% would recommend. Also, I love how large the water dish is.
I really like the concept of this. But when I was ordering it I was really expecting grey as the rest of my gecko’s stuff is grey and was kind of disappointed when I got orange in the mail. I kind of wanted to keep it consistent.
I actually just went to petco the other day and saw this exact one but didn’t like the color so I tried to find it online and was really excited when I found it in grey despite it being more because of shipping.
So it kind of sucks that I got the exact same thing I saw in store for more. And it did have some chipped spots that were really sharp that I filed down. But I don’t hate it. It serves its purpose.

My not so big frog pond was taken over by a huge snapping turtle who proceeded to eat all my frogs and rip apart my lily pads and I fear made holes in my liner. I didn’t want to hurt the turtle so I decided to try this turtle trap.
It worked great and I caught the turtle the first evening. I used sardines as bait and to release the turtle I just clamped the door open, flipped the trap and slid the turtle right out. I own some swampland so she was relocated in a good habitat although it is close enough to my pond that I fear I will be repeating this next spring.
Hey that’s ok because I now own a great turtle trap. Shipping was super fast, much quicker than the estimate they gave me.
We were plagued with two snapping turtles in one of our ponds. I ordered the rigid turtle trap and placed it in the pond with raw chicken tied to the bait end of the trap. It was about 1/4 submerged in water with the open end toward the open water.
In less than one hour, I checked the trap and was surprised to see BOTH turtles captured in the trap! One is about 12 inch shell and the other slightly smaller. I HIGHLY recommend this trap. It is very well made in the USA and certainly has worked very well for us.
I’m bummed. I have had this for a month and haven’t trapped one turtle! They are all over it but not one has taken the bait (I have used various types) I wish I had bought the floating trap but it was more expensive so tried this one.
