20 Best Tuxedo Bow Tie (2022 Updated)

With three weeks left before our wedding day, we were starting to get worried we wouldn’t be able to find the right color and material for the ties of my best man and step-son that would complement my ideal choice of a bow tie.

We braved department stores and online shopping but found nothing that “worked”. Enter the Tie Bar! I found an awesome gosgrain bow tie and the perfect color/material for our ties at a really great price.

We ordered and within days the ties were at my doorstep in really nice packaging and presentation. Everything was high-quality and our expectations were definitely exceeded! I even referred a few different friends based on my experience and will definitely continue to shop with them for ties, accessories, and other clothing needs.

This bow tie is a head turner! As the name suggests, it indeed is opulent! Looks royal, classy and is fit to be worn on a special occasion. Very happy with my purchase and will definitely recommend.

Looks nice on the shelf, but impractical design makes it impossible to put on or remove without someone else’s help. Returned it. Would never recommend as the design is horrible.

The bowtie and cummerbund both have a satin sheen that is classy without being to glossy. Size adjustments work well. (I have a 16″ neck and 33″ waist. ) The bowtie seems a bit small, but will do just fine.

This set was advertised to come with the bow tie pre-tied. It showed up with an untied tie that looks like they pulled it out of the returns bin. Called customer service and they could not have been more helpful.

Swapped out the wrong tie for the correct one (which arrived in two days). The new tie is beautifully made and elegantly tied and the cummerbund is exactly as advertised. Looking forward to the formal events this holiday season.

The Items themselves are lovely! The gold looks luxurious, not cheap, and the red leather is soft, slightly sueded and almost velvety. They shipped very fast and are beautifully packaged.

Ordered my tie along with with a shirt and a cashmere wool scarf on line late on a Thursday afternoon and they were in the mail box the following Monday. That is truly OUTSTANDING. The tie and shirt look great and they give me the 1870’s appearence I am looking for.

Being in Texas, I have yet to have a day cold enough to try out the wool scarf. It is, however, a great looking wardrobe accessory. Vielen Dank Historical Emporium.

This is a fine bowtie, in a style hard to find elsewhere. However, I wish the image would show the obvious clasp that, without a decent collar, would show and turn this tie into a cheesy clip on. The color is chocolate and the sheen is very satiny.

Overall, perfect for our applications in Victorian dinner theater, but from a costumers point of view, please show an image of the hardware.

This tie is more than I expected. It fits great and will be the one of the item I’m wearing to my granddaughters wedding. The color matches my Panama hat band and my shoes. Its a perfect tie to wear to any occasion.

The suit looked nice along with the fabric but the pants were fit too baggy. Much larger than a regular fit. Reminded me a parachute pants, not the look I was looking for.

I am a bow tie connoisseur. I must say I was severely disappointed in this product. The material is very tough and inflexible making it hard to tie and impossible to create the small knot needed to get the right balanced look.

The length markings are completely wrong. Even the full outstretched length was far shorter than all of my other bowties set to an average 17 length. None of the number markings match the correct lengths on my other high quality self-tie bowties.

I was actually able to find a high quality version of the black diamond bow tie on Amazon for only $14 and it was high quality material with correct length markings. Because this is coming internationally, it is almost more expensive to return than the original cost of the product so you can’t really get your money back after it is eaten up by shipping costs.

I cannot say this is a reflection of all OTAA’s products, but I would strongly recommend not buying this specific product (get the one off Amazon) and I don’t plan to buy from OTAA ever in the future since I can’t reasonably return items if they turn out to be low quality or faulty like this one.

I purchased the dusty emerald green linen bow tie for my wedding with matching pocket square. To be honest I was hesitant to pay so much for the two as I had never heard of OTAA before and was worried it may have been a sort of dropshipping/fast fashion kind of brand.

Boy was I completely wrong! My order was too my door within a matter of days and the packaging screams absolute quality! From the shipping bag too the cardboard sleeve and little tags on each item. My partner ended up changing some colours around and ended up purchasing the burgundy velvet bow tie and matching pocket square and again had it in a matter of days and packaged with the utmost care and quality! Whatever you do, don’t look anywhere else, the prices are very reasonable and the quality is next to nothing!!!! Will post photos from my wedding day with the velvet bow tie and pocket square in a month!.

So getting ready for the junior prom stateside and the rental shop informs us they have no more black bow ties. There is a shortage of black bow ties?? Say what? It is 2022. Well, I hit the internet and find Otaa.

The bow ties look nice and simple and are priced reasonably. I order, pay a little extra for express shipping to ensure it makes it here in time and a black bow tie arrives in a week. I had no idea I was ordering from an Aussie company at the time.

We needed a solid-colored bow tie for an event. I went into Dillard’s at Crestview Hills and was surprised and delighted by all the choices. Dillard’s had the best collection of bow ties in the area by far! Lots of solids and prints to choose from plus pocket squares to match.

Perfect bow tie for a 12 year old! It was a great fit and looked grown-up, so much that some of the adults at the party wanted to take it! lol. It was for a sorority gala and it was the perfect shade of pink to match my dress for his first real dress up party! Best part is he can grow into it.

Never ever tried a self tied bow tie always took the easy option So I Thought I’d give it a go and I ordered this one when it arrived i was very pleased with the quality also has an adjustable neck size.

This was an all around unfortunate experience. I’ve seen people make mistakes in the throes of love before, choose a partner over friends, and l understand how challenging that can be. It’s extra hard when you’ve convinced yourself you need to take care of a partner and adopt their insecurities as your own.

Especially when you’re a good hearted, fiercely loyal person. You trap yourself into thinking: ‘if I leave now, I’m abandoning someone in their moment of need’ But the truth is, adults needs to be able to stand on their own two feet.

They need to take responsibility for their actions. That goes for my friend as well. He’s equally responsible for enabling the behavior that inevitably forced him to alienating the people that love him.

I’m glad they had a happy wedding. I wish them a happy life together. I hope that one day, they are both healed enough to realize how, in the name of protecting themselves, they hurt people close to them.
