Purchased this TV for my garage/exercise area a little over a month ago. This was my first Hisense purchase. Overall it’s a decent TV for the price. I’ve tested out watching in Dolby Vision and it’s on par with a 55” TCL I have.
Setting it up on 5GHz-2 WiFi channel proved to be unsuccessful even with the device saying it was detecting an excellent signal until it connected. That said, the 5GHz-1 channel has worked well. Only daily annoyance has been when raising or lowering the volume several notches.
Every time, it causes the picture to get choppy, almost like the processor isn’t enough for the features packed in this thing. So If this were my main TV, I’d probably return it because I’m sure the processor will only lag even further with updates.
But since this is a budget smart TV for my garage/workout area, it suitably fills the need.
We bought this to use in another room. Wanted to diversify from our roku and try the Google TV experience. Was not really impressed. Cons, The picture quality is poor. There is a lot of zoning and green hues in the dark areas.
I have tried to fine tune the settings which didn’t help. Many times when switching inputs, the menu comes up, the selection highlights when pressed but nothing happens. I have had to unplug it to get it working again.
The lack of a bezel makes it very tricky to handle, especially when wall mounting it. Streaming is frustrating because of so much buffering, even with ethernet. Pros, it was cheap, does the job for the most part using Dish network or a DVD player.
Volume is good. Has 3 hdmi ports, ethernet, USB and cable inputs. All in all, would not buy again. Would stick with my tcl roku.
This is the first Hisense tv I have bought and definitely will not be the last! Received it on 7/26/2022, and it arrived in perfect condition! Well packed and wrapped inside and came in a sturdy, corrugated box.
It took no time to attach the legs to the bottom and once setup in the location I wanted, setting up the screen was a snap. The setup on the screen was all it took. Excellent viewing from any angle, vibrant colors that jumped out of the screen and the various sound adjustments was clear and concise.
Easy tv and remote setup and love all the streaming options included on the remote control and tv. Even has voice control on the remote which is great. Great value and price for this size tv. Without a doubt, would Highly recommend this tv.

Picked this up yesterday at an area Best Buy. Only two stores even had it. Sold out everywhere else or they just didn’t have them in stock. Relatively new and not much info out on it yet. One or two reviews online and Sony has an official spec page and feature set description.
Either way, got it home and was excited to get it set p and see what this tv had to offer. Had a 32” 2014 Bravia I got at Bestbuy before this one. Believe it was the kdl32r400 model. All i can say is this newer model blows it out of the water in terms of features and overall image quality.
There are so many settings to tweak the picture in this tv. Reality creation, contrast enhancers, image enhancers and so many more. Found the default dynamic mode to be way over sharpened and lowered it quite a bit.
The sharpness being so high in default Dynamic mode left way to much artifcating and gave the image a very grainy rough look. Lowering it to around 25 to 30 made the image so much cleaner and better looking.
Factory settings for Dynamic or Vivid are usually way to high anyway and just hurt the image. Movies look great especially bluray. Games on my console look awesome as well. The Motionflow 240 eliminates any motion blur in games or films which is nice.
The blacks on this set look great and the color just pops. Very much like a high end larger Bravia in terms of image quality. So many other settings to tweak and customize as well as seven initial picture presets to choose from.
Sound is good as well Overall i love this tv and it is a worthy entry to the Bravia lineup. Everything about this 32 inch set exudes quality and makes the steep price more acceptable. You get what you pay for and Sony tvs are usually top tier.
Sony has once again delivered a quality tv and thismis their first 32 inch model I believe since 2016 or 2017. So it’s nice to have an option like this again. Great tv and you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful picture, but somewhat muddy sound. Maybe I just got one that was slightly defective, so I returned it. I am thinking about buying it again and adding a sound bar. As for the preloaded channels.
Just about every standard channel is there. It is both a vast wasteland and a vast wonderland. Just delete what you don’t want and add channels that you do want to watch if they are not preloaded.
This is a nice Sony set with a very good picture and good sound. What makes this set more useable for me was the feet which are closer than similar sets. This set fits nicely on a smaller table than other sets.
Setup was very straight forward and the set works very well.

Out of the box this tv has the worst picture. The presets on every mode of picture are horrendous. So, prepare yourself to spend hours adjusting it to get an accurate picture. If you don’t want to spend the time, then spend up to buy a Sony (they make movies after all and know about image quality and video processing).
Don’t bother with online review sites picture setting recommendations because even with same model of tv, manufacturing tolerances mean panels can vary widely. What helped me most was I set my 8-year-old plasma next to the Hinsense U7H and thru many hours of fine tuning got a picture that was quite nice.
Of course, black levels and viewing angles aren’t going to be comparable to a plasma but the U7H does get brighter and its black levels are commendable for an LCD. Screen reflections are a little below average.
I just want to warn anyone before they buy this that don’t expect to unbox and be satisfied with the picture. Otherwise, it was easy to set up a soundbar on and I had no problems using a Roku Stick for online streaming content.
I had to take 2 stars off for it being a nightmare to calibrate and achieve an accurate picture.
Let me preface by saying I am not a videophile by any means, but I am OCD about color, contrast, grey uniformity, blooming, and motion blur/judder. Things I find are important in a TV and can be distracting if the execution is poorly done.
I am coming from a black Friday Hisense unit the H6510G I think it was. Your super budget panel that is not without it’s flaws. But by no means was it terrible, but I was ready for an upgrade. I did my research on this TV based on previous experience and expectations with a little forum dabbling since the main websites have not reviewed this TV yet.
Looking at the 2021 Hisense models, the 2022 could only be even better, right? This TV is very, very impressive. I knew it would be better than my current one, any new TV probably would be. But the big surprise is the price point.
I was initially looking at OLED, because. OLED. I wanted those inky blacks but didn’t want to babysit a TV (burn in). So this TV came out for about the same price as the previous gen and I decided to take a gamble because why not? Color: Pops on screen.
You can go from warm, to accurate, to vivid. Whatever your color temperature preference, the color is amazing. Contrast: Local dimming zones are at work here. Picture seems lifelike. Grey uniformity/motion/judder: Watched a college football game and it looked incredible.
No dirty screen on the field and the quick motion was easy to keep up with and was not nauseating. Blooming: might be the most impressive part of the unit. Watching a movie with a widescreen ratio with the black bars on top and bottom, the bars are pitch black.
Something OLED brags about. There is absolutely no backlight bleed anywhere. This is only day 2 with the TV, but I have zero regrets and I would recommend this unit to anyone. Forget the “name brands” for 30-60% more for less TV.
Great TV. Superb picture with amazing color saturation from any video source you throw at it – High Def, 4K, UHD, HDR~, Dolby Vision, whatever. Tip for you X-Box S/X series or PS 5 gamers wanting to game in 4K/Native 120 HZ, HDR, Dolby Vision, or whatever, but are not passing the 4K TV system check.
If either console doesn’t think your Hisense TV has these 4K capabilities when running a check to determine as much (when you know it does) – Grab your Hisense TV Remote and press the button with 2 horizontal lines on it.
This will bring up a menu that’s not accessible anywhere else. When the menu pops up, scroll down to HDMI format and switch it to “Enhanced HDMI” option. Nothing but joy after doing this. :).

The manual concentrated on installation. There was virtually nothing about actually using the tv. Most of what I choose to watch is through my satellite receiver. I had no idea how to get to it. Also I always streamed things that I use that LG doesn’t carry, like PBS Passport or The Great Cources.
Thank goodness I finally figured out how to get to my old Ruko via one of the HDMI drives. I never did figure out how to Bluetooth from my iPad to the LG screen, or how to access LG via my Echo devices, even though the screen menu did show the Alexa logo.
The app that links that skill to the LG is worthless and also caused me hours of work trying to get my LG back to useable order. Their menu system is confusing and doesn’t get you to where you think you want to be.
The operational instructions were on a small faded drawing of the remote with vague indications what each button does and which also included buttons my remote doesn’t even have. After finally finding the most detailed settings page on the tv I finally saw how to improve screen and sound quality.
That was very good Why did I have to finally get there by accident?.
Great picture but you need a PhD to work all of the features. I called customer service for a manual and was promised it would be e-mailed. Needless to say it was not. For example, you have to go through numerous steps to find the sleep timer (I had to call customer service and ask if there was one).
By the time I get there I’ve fallen asleep. This TV needs to come with a printed manual. The little bit of paperwork that came with the TV references the LG Magic Remote. This TV came with a normal remote.
Given a choice I’d get another manufacturer’s TV. That’s how upset I am with this product. I never dreamed this TV would be so difficult to access it’s many features. I still haven’t been able to use many of them simply because I can’t figure out how to get there through the numerous menus.
Picture great, sound great. Has the energy saving feature that asked if “I’m still there” then turns off when I do not responds. Do not see where I can turn that off. Why is it a problem? I got TV got my mom who is having vision issues.
From her chair can not see the message well enough to respond before it shuts down. Very frustrating for her. She uses TV mostly for company. Also does not support PBS Passport which my mom was hoping to have.

Best bang for your buck tv out there, especially for gaming and watching movies. 2 HDMI 2. 1 ports for 4k/120fps gaming. And the brightness is just stunning. I was also pleasantly surprised by the sound.
The Hisense U7H is also running on Google’s OS which is so much better than the Samsung Tizen OS from my other TV. It organizes all your streaming apps so you don’t have to go looking for things to watch.
I don’t think you can do better at this price point, does 4k 120hz has very good local dimming and color for a non oled or non mini-led tv. If you use ARC to export audio however make sure to select passthrough for best sound quality.
Also you need to change HDMi port settings from default standard to enhanced for best image and frame rate. Overall great tv so far have had about one month no issues.

Bought this since this is the newest model to come out for Hisense, the A4 Series for 2022 and never had a Hisense TV before, thought I would give it a try, at first, it seemed like it was responsive and fast, even after sideloading DirecTV Stream but the next day, everything just seemed to rather come to a crawl/slow halt which I was devasted by that, apps, buttons for controlling the volume and such was delayed quite badly while the picture on the tv was lagging also.
I went ahead and put AIDA64 on there to check out the specific specs since this series/model is very new and very little info is known about it, I was curious how much memory and what type of processor was in this and its a ARM Quad core processor in there, but the bummer part about it is, it only has 1GB of ram with average of 250MB available.
that would explain why the slowness/delayed response when navigating android tv built in. Every TV should be equipped with at least 2GB of ram or more. Why in 2022 is TV’s with android built in still using 1GB is just wild but it would work fine for normal OTA local channel surfing but using apps and such, it may vary on what your doing.
It was sad as I loved the picture of the TV set and the sound was decent, just the specs inside the TV is not good. I went ahead and unfortunately returned it, I hated too but I feel as if in 1-2 years when android updates are being pushed out and app updates, it will eventually make this TV to a crawl or the android usability impossible where it will just be good only for Live OTA TV and thats it.
I was kind of skeptical when purchasing this brand of TV since it’s not one of the major TV brands. Let’s just say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the TV screen resolution. I highly recommend purchasing a Apple TV HD to pair the TV with.
The only complaint is the sound is not that good but what do you expect with a budget friendly TV. This is a excellent choice of TV if your looking for a budget flat screen TV!.
I’ll start off by saying that I’m not using the Smart TV features at this time — just antenna and Blu-Ray player. I also didn’t pay for or expect a top-of-the-line tv, so I’m delighted with the performance for the very low price I paid.
Very pleased with the color and sound quality and the action sequences are much smoother than my last tv that had a higher refresh rate and cost twice what this one did. Overall, disappointed by just a few minor issues such as placement and feel of volume and channel buttons on the remote (unlit, hard to locate by touch or when room is dark) and a lack of a button for returning to the last channel.
