20 Best Tv Signal Booster (2022 Updated)

I have an antenna that was fed by a preamp system, into a single-in-single out Channel master distribution amp. After that amp, it went through a 2 output splitter to 2 devices. It was working OK, but, I have other antennas and thought I’d like to move my single-in-single-out booster to one of those and see if I could improve reception there too.

So I swapped it for the new 2 output amp+splitter, which allowed me to get rid of my passive splitter, and have more db gain on the outputs. I think my single booster was 10db gain, whereas I think this 2-output was 11db if I’m not mistaken.

Anyway, after swapping it, my signal levels went up slightly, which is expected because of the loss from my passive splitter. And, on my other antenna with a single device, the single booster helped there as well.

So it was a good way to improve things without breaking the bank.

The market is filled with TV reception products and promises of amazing performance. But the Channel Master Antenna Booster 2 promises and delivers. The closest TV broadcast towers to our home are about 25 miles away.

After installing a new Antenna Booster 2, we now receive two stations that are consistently between 98 and 100% reception. The most distant tower is over 40 miles out, and the signal now is between 68 and 73% reception.

No more signal loss, and no more frustration. I’ve been a Channel Master fan since I was young, and in my golden years I’m an even bigger fan. Channel Master keeps TV as it should be: Affordable and crystal clear.

This pre-amp is working great. I live 75 miles from the transmission towers, so I get signals but they are not very strong. With the pre-amp installed all channels are strong and solid, even in bad weather.

This is my second Winegard pre-amp. The first one lasted about 8 years. I have a 40 foot tower and I had mounted the first pre-amp near the top, just below the antenna. The downside of that is, I have to lower my tower in order to replace it.

This time I tried installing the pre-amp just inside the house where the coax enters (after about 100 feet of coax). That way if and when it goes out I would not have to lower my tower. I was pleased to discover that it works just fine, so I left it there, and so far so good.

I never did check my signal strength with the pre-amp mounted just below my antenna, like the last one was, but the signal strength seems as strong or maybe even a little stronger than before. I’m pleased.

I understand these can’t last forever so maybe being in the house it will last longer than the last one, and no matter what, it will be a LOT easier to replace if and when it dies. From here on out, only time will tell.

This pre-amp DID boost the signals from my antenna to the TV. Before install I logged signal strength on every channel I was receiving. The install was easy, I especially like how the pre-amp case is molded to prevent water from entering and it also shields the co-ax cable connections.

Also all exterior parts except co-ax connections are plastic (the good type, not the flimsy stuff), so it should last a really long time, i. e. no corrosion issues. After install I re-logged every channel.

Every one went from either ‘Good’ to ‘excellent’ or from ‘weak’ to ‘good’. So far we have not had any storms in the area that used to cause severe pixalation and signal loss. But I expect that issue may be in the past.

While I don’t have a signal meter, I estimate the boost is about 12Db. Overall I am VERY happy with this unit.

I attached this to the most powerful combination Winegard antenna available. The stations are about 65 miles away. The antenna is about 35 ft up. TVFOOL list my weakest station at 5. 3 NM(db) which is a pretty strong red zone reading.

I am running 275 ft of rg11 coax to 75 ft of rg6. I have drop outs,and at times channels not even available. I bought Winegard for the reputation of the company, and in times past, a very conservative rating on antennas and amplifiers.

They dropped the ball on this one for their most powerful mast mounted amplifier. If you live in a remote area, and have to run a lot of coax, pass this one up. I am buying a new amplifier with much better specs.

I had the Channel Master 7777 titan but it died in only 9 months. The Chinese bought the antenna and amplifier business and cheapened all of the products of Channel Master.

Before this booster I would only get 1 bar when I was lucky, and quite often ‘no service’. And forget totally about voice calls. Now I get a solid 2 bars all the time, within about 6 – 8 feet from the inside antenna and 3 bars (!!) when Im within a foot or two, which is easy because it on my desk.

My cell was supposed to have wifi dialing, but AT&T never came out with the software upgrade to make it so. They have a femtocell device to do that for my cell but I’d have to give up my ‘pay as you go’ plan to get it (no way!).

This weBoost was the alternative, and it really works. Its only going to cover your office area at best, but that’s all I personally need. Installation was moderate, I did it in an afternoon after first testing it outside but wow is the attic hot, and I had to just about do yoga to route the cable through all that insulation & not fall through the ceiling.

Mounted the antenna on a concrete side wall with the supplied hardware without a hitch, but it is work. I then routed through a soffit & then through the attic (mine is just boards & insulation) & finally down the middle inside of a wall in my office all by following an existing coaxial TV/Internet cable.

It solved my cell phone from home office issue, but at quite a price plus the gym exercise install. Im a little disappointed that it can’t propagate the signal further for that money & effort. I’m sure I will ebay it & replace it with a camera when AT&T comes up with a phone for really picky people like myself.

Bought this with some hesitation, just wasn’t convinced would get the decibal boost needed. Currently living in a 2,000 sq ft metal barndominium while we construct our new home over the next year. In a rural location, we were getting around -95 dBm outside (2/3 bars on ATT).

Inside the metal barn, -120 (1 bar at best, and frequent drops). Install: Decided to try and did self install. Took about 2 hours at a leisurely pace. Longest time honestly was wire routing from outside antenna and drilling into barn at amp location.

Also shortened RG11 and re-terminated 1 end. As an aside, not really sure the extra shielding of RG11 is totally needed in most situations, but whatever. Have RG11 between outside antenna and amp – 50’ run, and RG6 between amp and indoor antenna at approx 6’.

Performance: Been fantastic. We didn’t pick up 75dB (didn’t expect to given our weaker outside signal), but we are consistently at full bars and with 5g if not on Wi-Fi. In numbers, depending where in barn, in the high -70s to high -80s.

So picked up about 50dB. All in all, did what it said it would do, and that’s give us solid reception for working from inside a metal structure, in a rural location, both of which are notoriously difficult for cell signals.

Installed this on a farraday cage (my steel-sided & steel roof Barn/Apartment) in a very rural location. I was able to print a map of cell towers in my area (closest about 10 mi westerly in Ozark Mountains (hills)).

Installed it on a PVC riser I added to a west-facing plumbing trap on the outside wall about 25′ off the ground & pointed it directly in direction of tower. Drilled through steel exterior & long bit to reach interior & pulled coax through (sealed w/ clear caulk to keep bugs out).

Ran the coax along and behind beams to conceal it. One drawback, I had to buy a black coax cable because the white that came would have stood out terribly bad in my situation. The converter runs very hot to the touch but has not created a fire on the wood beam it is attached to.

Something not shared on-line is that the interior antenae is to be 30′ away if horizontal or 20′ lower than outside antenae otherwise. I did a triangular geometry calc to have it ~10′ lower & 25′ horiz from the exterior antenae & it works fantastic.

It even goes through wood walls/floors (but only have one wall or floor between any location in my case–not multiple). This product has worked great. I can now bring reception inside & use my iPhone as a HotSpot to run Zoom Mtgs, etc.

on my computer. I’m back in business after shielding myself with steel siding.

Like the variable gain control since I have 3 OTA TV antennas in different directions. The gain control allows me to balance out the different signals. 45 different TV channel feeds.

I live in the country and it more than doubled my the distance for my over-the-air antenna

Works but doesn’t increase signal very much. Should have paid extra and bought a channel master.

I have an expensive 30-year-old stacked array Winegard antenna system, that pulled in analog TV signals from hundreds of miles away long before digital TV came about. The system array still works perfectly after all these years.

I had filtered UHF only and filtered VHF only pre-amps in operation as the antenna coax run was some 100′ long before my home distribution amp. New nearby 4G and 5G towers had recently begun to cause pixilation and dropouts on my TV channels after the latest FCC frequency allocation changes.

So, I decided to use my EE skills to see what I could do – despite I still had some 60 digital channels. After all, what’s a degree worth if you don’t use it. When I received my new Winegard Pure TV Boost LNA Pro Ultra-Low-Noise Amplifier, I was a bit dismayed by its small size – but went ahead and installed it.

What I found was it does no blocking of interfering signals like my older, still working, pre-amps had. I had even installed tunable wave traps and frequency specific filters installed for most of the interfering signals with the old pre-amps.

But, had to remove those after installing the new Winegard amp due to signal losses using the new amp. Even without the filtering, I lost channels with the new amp. I also found I had to turn off the new LNA switch amplification or I had severe harmonic interference – that caused severe interference with even strong channels.

Even with the switch off, the distortion still affects several strong channels that were not having such problems with my older system. So, now, I have to install new blocking filters before I can turn the Winegard amplification back on.

Hopefully, the new filters will stop the harmonic distortion, dB insertion losses, and allow amplification to be turned on again to restore the weaker channels I could watch before – even while using my very much older pre-amp and filtering system.

I had already seen the new amp would receive those weaker channels and I could watch them with its amplifier switch turned on. The Bluetooth App was nice but is subject to annoying dropouts using my new Samsung Ultra 5G phone – even in close proximity to the small, included Bluetooth receiver.

The App also didn’t include some of my local channels and gave others with conflicting information. I’ve had to sort this out by making my own tower map. I really don’t expect this Online App to be anything that will be operative for years to come, but that shouldn’t be a problem after a correct antenna installation now.

I just hope the small amplifier will last. I also didn’t like having to create an account for the App to work nor the fact the app must be used to turn the amplifier switch on and off. A manual switch would have been much preferable for this.

I had thought this new system would allow me to stay out of my attic more – so much for that. I’m still having to go in there to set everything up. At 70, I really don’t need to be climbing in and out of an attic.

Once the new cellular filters arrive, I had to order, I may be able to get this new Winegard system working well. But, I may return to my older system if the results are not positive using this new Winegard amp.

New tech just isn’t always very good, and this new system is missing known filtering features it should have included.

In my area we’re challenged to receive much of anything that’s not local. We’re using it with a Clearstream 2 Max indoor/outdoor antenna which picked up great, but we knew more was available. This booster helped clear up whatever prevented being able to receive certain weaker stations.

Of course, nothing can overcome physical obstacles, but this booster has made a difference. And it can be plugged in two ways: either on the wall or on the back of the TV so you don’t have to take up a wall outlet!.

Bought this to solve our weak over the air TV reception issues. Now going onto about 3 months, this unit has improved our reception signals and we now enjoy much improved FREE over the air TV. We’ve gain even more channels than what we found before.

I recommend this to anyone having reception issues.

The adjustable gain is very necessary in remote locations. I receive two stations whose signal will break up if the gain is too low or too high; it has to be set just right. This amplifier works well, but the “outdoor” amp is sensitive to lightening strikes.

This is the 7th amp I’ve had to buy over a 20 year period. If lightening strikes within about a quarter mile of my house and I have not disconnected my antenna first, then the outdoor amp will cease to work on 2 or 3 of the channels I receive.

By the way, I properly installed a lightening surge protector between the antenna and outdoor amp, but it did not completely solve the problem. If you never get lightening ground strikes where you live, then you have nothing to worry about with this amp, but if you do get them, be careful.

Great amplifier with excellent signal gain adjustment. Originally only had 3 channels and now I have 18 very strong. Correctly installed this will work. Make double sure you have the antenna aimed and mounted correctly from the start or it won’t work well.

Also, only pick an antenna by how far you are away from the broadcast stations!!! I checked my distance from stations and I needed a 60 mile antenna with an amplifier just like it said. Visit Antennas Direct to help aim towards the stations by entering your zip code.

I have a semi omnidirectional antenna (ClearStream 2V) which makes aiming much easier. Remember not to over amplify because it will make most channels not pick up!!!!.

Base antenna amplifier works so well that I run the second amplifier provided at the TV in the off mode. If I turn the second amplifier on it overloads the TV and stations are lost. I am now picking up stations with towers 26 miles away from me in hilly terrain.

I have a huge antenna in my attic, but with no booster I get only 4 channels. With my old cheap booster i got 20 channels. With this new Radio Shack unit I now get 42 channels. Works great and seems to have good build quality.

This is the best indoor antenna I ever bought. Really easy to set up. I mounted mine on top of my TV and you can barely see it due to its very thin profile. I live 55 miles Southwest of South Bend, Indiana and the signal strength is over 90%.

This is the first antenna I bought that doesn’t have to be repositioned over and over until you get a decent picture. I recommend this antenna.

Love that this HD antenna can be mounted (clamp) along the top edge of my flat screen television and its low profile makes it almost hidden from view! But it can also be wall mounted or placed on a flat surface like a tabletop or fireplace mantel.

Its amplifier also gives me great reception of local HD channels (but the reception will depend on your location from the HD broadcast sources). Very simple to hookup.

We cut cable last year, no longer have access to the local channels or their streaming apps. Live about 35-40 miles from most of the tv towers. Took about 2 minutes to install, placed it on the top of the TV and it practically disappears! It’s setup about 10 ft from windows facing southeast, and we pull in 42 channels, crystal clear!.

We live in panama city, fl and just went thru hurricane Michael and were and still are without cable and internet service. I had always heard of these antennas and was a little leary about what the picture would look like.

I had considered them because the cost of cable is astronomical. but couldnt convince anyone in the house to try because of the reason I just mentioned. And along come a Cat 5, I dont care what they say.

it was a 5. It has been nearly impossible to find out any info we figured out how to turn on a hotspot on phone but that is intermittent. We did manageto get online and my mom ordered 2 and it was amazing.

Thats literall! Being able to listen to the news and find out info on the schools opening back up and what was needed and the different locations and times just for that saved us so much frustration.

We were with out for 26 days and just having the news is a life saver! Add the fact the kiddo can watch CW, well bonus!! So glad we have them, would love to figure out how to drop cable and just run this and the internet when everything is functioning again.

At the very least and I hope it doesnt ever. ever happen again but in an emergency we now at least have the option of hooking up our antenna to find out whats happening in the world! Thank you, seriously!!.

My boyfriend and I left our comfortable lifestyle our home in a city to travel the country in a travel trailer recently. One of the things I missed the most was live TV. My boyfriend works outdoors all day, while I am trapped in my trailer, working remotely.

I am pretty sure I have watched everything on Netflix. I wanted live TV. The news, Price is Right, Judge Judy…just normalcy. I’ve tried a few antennas and have gotten legit crap. One of the antennas gave me two channels.

Two. Channels. The other ones just never could get decent reception, no matter where we placed the device. We received this bad boy yesterday and I am one happy girl! I have ALL of the local network channels and a ton more! I have music channels, movie channels not premium, of course and just so many cool random channels I didn’t even know existed.

It’s nice to be able to channel surf again!.

I ordered my first HDTV Antenna and was so pleased with it. So, I ordered another for another TV in our home. I have both HDTV Antenna’s in the same window. I placed one high and one low so there was no interference.

My OLD antenna was getting only 20 channels and they were not good. But, With the NEW HDTV ANTENNAS, I am now getting 40 channels and the pictures are very clear and not going in and out. I plan to order another one for our RV, as the rooftop antenna has poor quality channels.

The new HDTV antenna is very easy to install and connect to your TV. It only takes a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone that is looking for their local programming and local news channels.

I am so confused! None of my aerial cables plug directly into this so I’m going to have to buy new cables or adapters in order to get it working. It would be so much better if the cables came with it to save those of us who are easily confused from having a brain explosion.

I haven’t yet worked out what sort of cables I need, i. e. male/male, male/female etc so wish it stated on the instructions. I don’t yet know if it’s good value or quality but have given it the benefit of the doubt and marked it yes on those categories.

The signal booster arrived punctually and in good condition. It is compact and stylish. However, I found that the incoming aerial cable needed a female-to-female connector and the one that I had did not make a tight fit with the input to the signal booster.

The overall gain of the signal booster was thus poor and I don’t think it does the trick. To avoid this issue, could the signal booster have 2 inputs for coaxial cables : one , male; and the other, female so as to avoid signal loss from extra connectors?.

Ive recently split off the tv aerial connection in our kitchen to an outbuilding with a 10M aerial lead and the picture was great to start with then it kept cutting out or going fuzzy every now and again.

Then Id lose channels. I thought it was because of loose wires. Then I found this little piece of genius that boosts the signal along the 10M aerial lead. It was the weak connection! Amazing value. Works like a dream and my mind can finally rest! I now get 130 tv channels + radio stations.

We bought this replacing an older digital antenna and this one is much better. We would have to move our old antenna around a lot depending on which channel we were watching. With this one we don’t have to move it at all and we get many more channels.

I use sling TV, but i dont get the local channels like abc, cbs, or cw with sling. I hooked this up, and scanned for channels, and now i get all the local channels from 3 different cities. Excellent device, and readonably priced too.

I bought this to replace an old style telescoping antenna. Super easy installation and it is so powerful I didn’t even need to mount it on the wall or use the included powered signal amplifier. Would recommend to anyone looking to ditch cable.

I just moved into a 2 year old house, and wanted to “cut the cord” to that ugly dish on the roof. I talked to very helpful guys at Antennas Direct, and ordered Clearstream 4 antenna, and 8 Output Distribution Amplifier (powered).

My house is more than 30 miles from Houston Texas TV towers, in a somewhat wooded area. I used my handy compass, and along with Antennas Direct direction finder, figured out the direction the antenna would need to face.

After installing the Clearstream 4 antenna in the attic, I first tried running the TV auto program WITHOUT the powered amplifier. I was able to get many, many, many channels, but not my favorite – Channel 2.

Spanish channels, Asian channels, Indian channels, religious channels, shopping channels, and yes – even network channels. Some channels would not come in at night (weird). So, I replaced the unpowered splitter with the Antennas Direct 8 Output Distribution Amplifier, and VOILA’ – more channels – including Channel 2 – all the time.

Hooray! All Houston network channels are HD, and they look great on my new 65″ Sony TV. The amplifier is not small – measuring about 4-1/2 inches square. It has 2 cables sprouting out the top, and 8 cables erupting from the front, so it takes up some space.

It also has a bright red power light – just so you know. It also needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet for power. The AC adapter takes a regular antenna cable, not an electrical cord. It goes from the top left spot on the amplifier (where that red light is) to the AC adapter – which you plug into your outlet.

So, if your antenna/cable cluster is in a remote area, you will be running another antenna cable to the AC adapter, NOT an extension cord. Thank you Antennas Direct for the great combination of Clearstream 4 Antenna and 8 Output Amplifier.

Works great! Used to split an attic mounted antenna to 7 TVs. Went from 2 bar reception when hooked up passive to full 5 bar reception when powered on all channels except low powered vhf channels. Low powered vhf were unwatchable before but now come in at 2 bars and come in reliably.

All vhf channels are approximately 20-25 miles away and all come in perfect. If splitting to 5-8 receptacles is needed, definitely use a powered splitter like this. Exceeded expectations!.

The preamp is easy to install. Comes with 2 nylon zip ties. But most nylon ties break down when exposed to UV rays. Tape over the ties after installation. It is powered by a 5 volt DC power inserter.

Most other preamps use 12-15 volts DC to power up. So if yov have a central power system to power, you have to add on a 5volt now. I measure 13db of gain at 200MHz @6Mhz bandwidth. The unit says 20 db is nominal (which may be true at single frequency).

The unit is not watertight. But built weather resistant. There is a ‘weep hole’ to drain any moisture built up in the case. I don’t know if this is a going to be a problem or not. I didn’t disassemble to see if the PC board has any ‘Conformal Coating” on it to prevent water from affecting operation.

I hope. In my area I have 5 stations that are from 76MHz to 510Mhz. It is made in USA. Around 40$ is the lowest price I’ve come across.

Its easy to hook up. Was using an older probably 6 foot long tv antenna with an old Archer amplifier. 4 local channels on a big hill in rural north Arkansas. Now I have 39 channels and its 26 feet up on a tower at the end of the house.

39 channels and Im not even pointing at Springfield Missouri 5 thumbs up if I had that many.

Used with a unidirectional yagi antenna mounted in my attic. Total channels received went from 51 to 71 and greatly improved the reliability and reception of the closest transmitters (4-8 miles away).

The power injector works great so I don’t have to have a power source at the antenna where the amplifier is mounted (always mount the amplifier with as short a cable run as possible to the antenna!).

This is my second amplifier to buy. I live in southern middle Tennessee, and I have two antennas. One antenna pointed north toward Nashville, TN and one pointed south toward Huntsville, Al. The first amplifier I bought and put on the antenna pointed North toward Nashville, TN and received 21 channels.

I have never been able to receive channels from Nashville until I bought this amplifier. I stated this in an earlier review of this product. I decided to buy a second amplifier and put it on the antenna pointed toward Huntsville, Al to pull in some low power channels that I was not receiving with my current setup.

When I hooked up the new amplifier to the antenna pointed toward Huntsville it did not work well at all. I thought the amplifier was defective out of the box. I sent an email to Channel Master and a gentleman named Joe from Tech Support contacted me.

He was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful, and worked with me for about 6 hours trying different things to verify if the amplifier was indeed defective or not. The bottom line was that the amplifier was not defective.

There was a problem with my setup. Joe also made recommendations that improved the setup I had. Thanks to Joe at Tech Support. It is good to know that when you buy a Channel Master product you are not “on-your-on”.

You can get help.

These are great pre-amps IF you make sure you have good voltage at the unit. If your reading is low, make sure you have good RG-6 coax, never RG-59 and I strongly recommend quad 4 RG-6. If the reading is still low, replace the connector.

I never had one of these units fail with good cable and good connectors. These amps greatly increase the number of channels for us.

I purchased this because during certain weather conditions a couple of channels fade in and out during the day but come in great at night. I have an amplified antenna in my shop and don’t have that problem there even though the antenna is lower than the house, 1 story vs 2 story.

After going to the trouble to install this RCA amp which I was led to believe was a quality product I went from 83 channels before to 50 after and got no reception of the cahnnel I was trying to improve at all so I had to climb back up and remove this piece of Chinese made junk to get all my channels back.

This was very easy to install on my antenna which is on my roof 10 ft above my chimmey. I have read the booths don’t fit on the cables this true but I got mine to fit by cutting the bottom of the booths a 1/4 inches up and the cable fit in with no problem.

I took electrical tape and wrap the booths where I cut them. I live in Seattle WA will see how long this last with all the rain we have here because I had bought another preamp that only lasted 4 months before it stop working.

Ok I have gone from 13 channels now to 24 and only getting 25 to 30 percent receiving to now getting 45 on most of them to 70 percent. Like I said the cable will fit the 2 booths that come with it if you just cut the bottom a little bit to spread them open.

I live only 18-1/2 miles from the transmitter of WABC. I can’t even get a blip of a signal on my TV. I can barely get WNBC (same distance). This is a travesty. My antenna (the second one I’ve bought) is about 25 feet above the ground pointed directly to the transmitters.

The FCC screwed people who did not want to pay for cable. I have now added this booster to another one I’m using, and I still get no signal for WABC and barely NBC. I am currently putting the TV just feet from the antenna just for testing.

So, it’s not a long cable issue. I have tried different RG6 cables, too. Same results. The telecoms are loving this pathetic situation. Personally, I will keep the cable TV service cut. But few people do what I do, and the telecoms just rake in the dough with their local cable monopolies.

Sheesh, I can’t even get free OTA TV? What happened to this country? So, if I don’t get a signal, do I ‘blame’ this booster? I have to guess it’s just fine and that the FCC’s current digital TV system is the (willfully poorly designed) culprit.

I ordered this powered, amplifier splitter along with the EXTREMEtenna80. The antenna pulled in the closest channels (about 30 miles away) and when I plugged in this amplifier, my signal strength increased dramatically and I also was able to pull in more distance stations which I could not get with the antenna alone.

The signal strength on the weakest channels is around 75%. Considering I wasn’t able to even view these channels without this amplifier, this amplifier works great. Very satisfied. Very easy to install.

I don’t want to have to pay monthly for television. I live in the country surrounded by trees and they have just gotten bigger in the last 20+ years. This small, easy to use, inexpensive device has given me back several channels I had lost years ago.

Sad but still unwilling to pay monthly for tv. Very happy with this purchase. More channels and a seriously brighter picture. Glad I found it and glad you had it on the market. Thanks Channel Master.

I am very pleased with this antenna! I live North of Dallas, TX and am able to pick up all of the normal local channels with the antenna in a window. Including 4- Fox, 5- NBC, 8- ABC, 11- CBS, 13- PBS, 21- KTXA, 27 – KDFI, 33- KDAF, 39- KXTX, plus lots of others like Comet, Grit, QVC, Ion, Bounce, Charge, Rewind, Decades, MeTV, DABL, HSN, Mystery, Circle, Movies!, Laff, Buzzr, Twist.

There are some Spanish channels and religious channels and shopping channels. Sometimes there are some reception issues, but you can move the antenna around a bit and clear it up.

Don’t be shocked; it’s only about 9″ in height. Image shown is deceptive, LOL!! There’s no blue light! At least, mine doesn’t have one!! For one that’s a novice at connecting anything to what’s behind any flat screen TV, directions are “CRAP”!!!!! There is SO MUCH one can connect, and not every port is labeled! Why not address that fact.

At least, give a person a video to Google that gives help! The small piece of paper on which the “vague” directions are printed has a “floating” statement; “make sure the connection is tight”. Connection to what???? The arrow points to something un-named!!! There’s an extra part in the box with no explanation as to what it is, and what’s to be done with it; CRAZY!!!! LOL!!!!! that said, after an hour, (frustration caused me to take a few breathers) and, because I found a place where the connector on the second cord “fit”, the red light came on the small box on the cord.

That connector piece looked like a USB. [Yes, I am familiar with a USB!:] Finally, though the directions have nothing about scanning your TV for channels (I guess one is supposed to know to do this) I scanned my TV for channels, and “LO and BEHOLD”; “Halleluiah”, ALL IS WELL!!!!! So, for those of you who are not tech savvy, as I am not, get someone who is familiar with connections behind the TV to help.

If you decide to do it yourself, behind your TV, look only for the port that’s labeled “ANTENNA, and the one that’s labeled USB. A visual of the connectors to the shapes will tell you how they fit. Afterward, scan your TV for channels.

I went to MENU on my TV, but, couldn’t remember how to do it, so, there was a lot of trial and error on my part. You may have your TV manual; look in it. One other thing, I WOULD like to know why my antenna doesn’t have the “blue light”!.

We had this connected to our TV in less than 5 minutes. It took a few minutes for our tv to scan the channels and I expected to see 8-10 stations. (Our last antenna brought in 8 stations. )This amazing device brought in 68 great stations and they are all amazingly clear, even when there is cloud cover.

I was blown away! I should have done this years ago! Goodbye comcast! This device will save me $1500 a year!.

I recently purchased 2 additional in line digital amplifiers for the other TV’s in my home. The original splitter that came with Antop antenna did an amazing job pulling in all the available channels in my viewing area.

The units are small, inconspicuous, and powerful. I have no no doubt they will enhance my viewing pleasure.

this one works, the black one i got last week gave me no new channels. this one went from 26 to 60 something. some where in Spanish , deleted them. got all my good channels back. some fade in and out.

but they always did that. birds killed my good antenna. the upgraded one just 26. now I am back.

I was in two minds in wether this would work but for the price I was willing to take that risk. It arrived the next day and was very easy to assemble! Within 5 minutes I have channels on my tv

I decided to change my steam driven, large booster for this smaller, neater, one. What I wasnt prepared for was its size, its tiny. I lost lots of channels because of the weakness of the signal produced by this kit.

I put my old one back and everything was restored. Because of this I cannot recommend it. I have to say that Currys communication leaves a lot to be desired. They appear to do what they want, when they want and stuff the purchaser or EBay.

Pros: I was having problems with BBC multiplex pictures breaking up when the weather was bad due to poor signal strength and this fixed it. By my power meter it consumes less than 1 Watt. I have another in the loft to distribute signal to various rooms.

The 4 way as about the same price as the 1 way, and you have flexibilty for future needs. Cons: It doesn’t really lie down flat once aerial leads are attached (unless you use the screw holes) but it’s so small and light it doesn’t matter much.

I am very happy with this desk top sit/stand computer monitor and keyboard desktop. It took just a few minutes to stick on three small sticky back foam pads and tighten four screws and that was assembly done (there are a couple of sticky back cable ties if needed).

The desk top is excellent quality and very solid (it has a good weight to the mechanism). It easily holds a large monitor and laptop side by side whilst the lower keyboard shelf easily holds a full sized keyboard and mouse plus pad.

The raising mechanism is very smooth and it takes minimal effort to raise or lower the desk. I cannot find a fault with it. This is a large and very solidly built desktop which I like and is what I bought it for.

It is not a small, lightweight, folding, space saving item (for that look elsewhere). Overall excellent and give it a 10 out of 10. Very pleased A++.

This amplifier works very well. It was easy to install. I had a problem using splitters to use two tvs and the signal strength was weakened. This product rectified the problem.

Packing good, construction looks good, was not physically the same but electronics the same, connected and worked great, would recommend, it made all my tv channels stable.

Works well and cheaper than many other brands. Bumped my signal strength 10% at the tv.

So, you wanna leave cable huh? No better antenna than this one to leave it with. I purchased this little antenna and let me just say. this one DOES receive better signals than other models. But the change is not significant enough to justify that one.

Works like a charm. particularly like that it virtually disappears unlike rabbit ears it replaced. That being said, I live on an Island in Puget Sound and face East. can see the towers on Queen Anne Hill from antenna position.

but picture is much sharper than rabbit ears and more consistent.

This WeGuard digital antenna is EXCELLENT! I’ve been using a flat antenna for years and finally got to a point to change. The market is full of Digital TV antennas of varying quality so I was hesitant to make a purchase without getting a referral.
