Having spent quite a while researching TV’s I decided I wanted an OLED tv. One of my customers actually has an older version of this TV and I’ve always been thoroughly impressed with the screen quality and the thin-ness of the display.

After unpacking the TV and very carefully adding the stand I set the TV up – all very quick and easy following the on screen prompts. Connected to my wifi immediately and found several channels just using my cheap HD window aerial.

As I’ve been using this TV I keep finding more features – I’ve connected it to my Alexa – which again was very simple and now I can be beyond lazy and turn it on/off, change the channel and volume simply by voice (it has an Alexa button as well as syncing to my existing Alexa).

Simple things like this really please me when I can’t find the remote! Downloaded the LG app and connected to my iPhone – again quick and easy with no connection issues. Pre-loaded apps on the tv included everything you’d expect – they load quickly and all run without delays – this was a particularly important feature for me as I’ve used cheaper TV’s where the lag and loading time is incredibly poor which becomes very frustrating.

Picture quality is outstanding – I can’t really say more than that! I hooked up my old DVD player and played an old DVD and was thoroughly impressed that it was still brilliant despite the fact it wasn’t even a Blu-ray Disc.

Having never spent this amount of money on a TV before I’m blown away – it’s definitely an investment but well worth it. I’ve now wall mounted this TV with a full motion mount. The guys installing the wall mount were really impressed with the tv and now it’s safely on the wall I’m really (really) pleased.

It was slightly too wobbly on the stand for my liking ( something to consider if you have pets or children) but now it’s rock solid! I keep finding new features as I investigate the TV menus and apps but am very happy with my purchase.

Just bought this from Argos for a bargain price, got it home and started the process of unpacking it and setting it up. To say it has minimalist instructions is an understatement! Biggest bugbear was trying to get the screws into the holes in the middle of the legs, but managed it after a few goes at it.

Plugged everything in cable wise from my old TV and went through the tuning in process and hey presto got some pictures. Next I went online and registered the TV for its guarantee. Finally started playing with the remote to find out what buttons do what.

Found I needed to update the software and did that, which added a new feature, Screen Care, this helps you keep your screen in the best condition, even guarding against screen burn from the dreaded Logo’s in the top corners, which is a very good addition to have.

I have tried all the different settings on each type of screen but can’t just get it right, there is always something that looks like it needs adjusting. Well its early days yet, but so far I am pleased with my new LG OLED TV.

I bought mine from Argos solely because they have a £100 extra off code (LG 100) for LG OLED TV’s, and I am very glad I found it at such a bargain price. I don’t think anyone will regret it if they buy this model, only downside is the lack of HMDI slots, there are three but one is for ARC compliant sound bars.

I have a Sky Q box and the Sky aerial goes through this then into the normal terrestrial aerial socket not the free sat socket. I found that the LG remote can also control the Sky box when it comes to changing channels just select the HDMI socket that is being used by your Sky Q box from your home screen.

Or just hold down the speech key on the remote and say HDMI 1 or Hdmi 2 whichever Sky is using and you get presented with the usual Sky screen and then can select channels, recordings etc from there with the LG remote.

I needed to buy a new TV after the backlight of my last one died. I did my research, established which features I was looking for at my price range and settled on the new LG OLED range. The quality difference between this and my failed TV is impressive to say the least.

I opted for the B1 model over the C1 as I assumed I wouldn’t need more than 2x HDMI 2. 1 ports, as that’s the main difference – and I can always buy a HDMI switch later. It’s the first true smart TV I’ve owned, and although WebOS is serviceable, Android would have been preferable for its range of apps.

The narrow bezel is excellent, and the shallow profile helps keep it close to the wall where I’ve mounted it, although the screen is scarily thin, and the ports have some give when plugging cables in.

Annoyingly the power cable is wired in and quite short, which I didn’t fancy rewiring. Since then, I’ve put it through its paces – watching 4K HDR content via streaming services as well as BluRays, and I managed to snag an Xbox Series X which this is fully compatible with (Full 4K/120Hz/VRR/HFR/etc.

). Absolutely incredible colour, detail, and clarity. In bright scenes can be gloriously blinding, while all detail can be seen in shadowy scenes. In terms of audio, you’re never going to end up with fantastic quality in such a small body, to which I ended up buying an LG soundbar as I planned to do anyway.

The included controller is great – microphone to search for content across apps is super convenient. My only issue would be it doesn’t automatically detect new DLNA devices, so if trying to stream from laptop you’ll need to turn TV off and on.

Final remark – The best OLED for your money.

This tv outperforms my older lg oled c6 by quite a bit. Unlike the lg, this tv does not have pink tinge on all white screen, nor does it have uniformity issues or dirty screen effect like the w-oled tvs suffer from which is a real treat.

I keep expecting to see these things, but nowhere to be found. The combination of bright quantum dot and oled pure blacks puts this tv leagues above the others. For those worried it does’nt support dolby vision, fear not.

I find the colors pop more and details are stronger than viewed on my lg oled. ive never seen such dazzling colors with such great contrast as this presents, especially on the brighter settings such as dynamic.

this thing is bright, much much brighter than i anticipated. The sound quality is decent for a tv with such thinness. I listened to these speakers for a week before hooking up my 9. 1 receiver and i was never bothered except for heavy bass.

For casual listening the sound is fine, but no matter which tv is purchased these days a sound bar or full receiver system is needed for optimal sound The remote is neat, solar powered and nice looking, although it is small and black, and gets lost in couch easily.

There is also voice command from alexia, google and bixbie, very nice feature. Tv also has hdr10+ adapitive, which is nice for best possible picture if watching content such as amazon. A camera can be instalked for more features The only con is the tizen smart system, it doesnt seem as intuitive as lgs, and not as quick to get to inputs or stations when conpared to lg magic remote, but once you figure everything out, its not bad.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting to get into oled. I had been considering lg offerings as well as sonys nice tvs, but for the features, picture quality, ease of apps, and price i certainly couldnt ever go to another brand.

This new budget-friendly Samsung LED 4K UHD TV has an excellent picture but subpar sound. We bought this TV to mount on the wall in our kitchen. It’s very thin (about 1′ only) and uses a standard VESA 200×200 wall mount (you need 4 M8 x 1.

25 screws – Samsung says to use 11-13 mm. ones but I only could find 16mm. ones in our local hardware store, which, after putting a thin washer on each screw to make the screws slightly shorter, worked perfectly).

Compatibility with external devices appears very good – we use Roku on all our Samsung TVs and putting a Roku 4K streaming stick was very easy. The TV was very fast to update its software and we could enjoy streaming a 4K UHD HDR movie in no time! But – be warned, the sound on this TV is probably the worst I heard from a Samsung TV.

It is hollow and even somewhat muddy. We were able to pair easily through Bluetooth the TV with an Onkyo mini Hi-Fi system and, thankfully, there is no lag between the sound and the picture. But, if you plan to use the TV without an external speaker or a soundbar – its own sound is very subpar! All in all, the picture is extremely good – vivid colors and excellent 4K detail.

The remote is very thin and this may not necessarily be a plus. Since we bought last fall a TU-8000 model for one of our bedrooms, it came with Ambient Mode. The AU-8000, however, has no Ambient Mode, contrary to what some websites (like Amazon) list about this model.

So, if you want the TV to blend with your room decor – this model won’t do. The price is quite good at the time of writing this (just before Black Friday), so the TV definitely delivers where it matters most – in terms of picture and functionality.

Its sound quality is a big minus, though, and you’ll want to pair it to an external speaker.

I’m going to say this is a good TV but has some issues you may not be able to get past. First of all, it is really good and very bright and it can overcome a really well lit room. The colors really pop and the picture is pleasing but accurate enough that it is not overblown like some others.

It is also very thin and is recessed to fit the LG low profile mount so that it can be wall mounted with virtually no gap and it also includes an art gallery that is almost makes it look like a piece of art, though not as much as the Samsung Frame series.

The sound quality is probably the best I have heard in a TV and has good punch and bass, which is unheard of in a TV this thin. It’s main flaw, and depending on your needs it may be a fatal one, is that it is edge lit and (as I understand it) is a version of an IPS panel.

So, since the panel has a lower native contrast to start with, in the dark it has to rely on local dimming to try to present a good image with contrast. This opens it up to even more problems. Mainly, local dimming is tough to do well on an edge lit TV anyway, and this TV struggles with it and it also causes some flash lighting, especially in content with black bars at the top and bottom of the image.

For sports and well lit movies and shows it is completely unnoticeable but If you watch a lot of dark movies and shows in wide format, you might find it distracting. Another thing to know is that this unit is NOT a mini LED display (some folks believe that all QNEDs are, but this one is not) so there are a lot less points of light around the outer edges which means the local dimming zones have to be larger and are inherently more noticeable when the issue does occur.

All of this being laid out, I haven’t decided to return it yet. First, we watch in a room with windows all around and the brightness and colors are awesome and also, even when watching at night, we usually keep lights on.

Last night, we put a small LED lamp behind the TV and purposely watched a dark-filled widescreen movie and we both commented that we hardly noticed anything, so bias lighting might just be the ticket for this set.

Overall, I’ll give it 4 stars for now.

I have been testing my QNED85 over the past days and the first word that comes to my mind is WOW! I have upgraded from 40 to 55in and I must admit that at first the QNED seemed massive but after a short while we got used to the size.

We have had the TV wall mounted – due to its size and weight, I would definitely suggest having 2 people to install. Although it is big but also slim and sleek so it does look good on the wall. The power cord could have been a little bit longer as we have to use an extension socket.

We have used a basic tilt TV bracket which was easy to fix to the TV’s universal fixing holes. The initial set up was extremely simple. Installing additional programs, like YouTube or logging in to streaming platforms was easy too – there was no need to type passwords; I just needed to scan QR code within the app to connect it to my account, simple! As I have already had an LG ThinQ app to control my washing machine, I have just added the TV to it, meaning that I can now use my mobile phone as a remote if needed and also with two clicks on my phone I can view and play any content of my phone to the TV.

The remote itself is very small and simplified. In addition to the standard buttons, there is a point and scroll button and are also hotkeys dedicated to the main streaming platforms so with a press of one button you can open these directly.

As for the picture quality – this is amazing – especially when watching any 4K content. For sure, LG didn’t lie when they have mentioned the nearly-perfect black. All colours are so vivid, bright and crisp; the contrast is just perfect and the picture is very sharp.

You can look at the TV from any possible angle and the quality of the picture is the same. With different picture modes to choose from, whatever you watch, it will be perfectly optimised. We have tried the standard and filmmaker modes as well as sports (husband is well impressed) and the game optimised mode for use with PS5 which made the game look a lot more realistic.

The modes are well defined and so far I did not feel I needed to make any adjustments. The quality of the sound with Dolby Atmos is amazing too. Again, with various modes for sound, whatever you listen to will sound great.

Another great feature is that I can connect my Bluetooth headphones wirelessly to the TV. I am well happy with my purchase and I would recommend this TV especially to someone who values good quality picture and sound and also lov.

I’ve purchased the LG 65” QNED866QA MiniLED 4K Smart TV as an upgrade from our old 42 inch way less smart TV. The TV came in a really large box carried by two people as it was such a bulky and heavy item to deliver.

Unboxing was interesting. 2 of us could barely get the TV out of the box it was so well packaged. We’ve used a normal 40-80 inch TV Wall bracket to display the TV on the wall and it was a fairly simple process to hang it up.

Be careful when choosing your bracket (doesn’t need to be expensive, just slightly forward tilting) to make sure you won’t lose access to the ports. The electricity cord of the TV is located around the middle of the back, maybe a bit towards the right side and unfortunately we’ve found it to be too short.

It is probably long enough for people who display it on a TV stand, but our TV is hung on the wall and the cord is led behind the length of the TV we now need to put up an extender very close to the side of the TV.

I’ve used the LGThinQ app to go through the TV set up which was fairly simple the TV was up and running in no time. To my surprise I was able to connect the TV with our voice assistant smart speaker so I can just say “Hey ‘X’ turn on ‘streaming service name’ on TV” or hey ‘X’ show this or that on TV etc.

There is also a dedicated button on the remote for said voice assist so you could just press the button on the remote and speak to said voice assist to ask questions or tell her to carry out tasks. TV could even be used as an alternative to a computer, it has a proper super fast browser, you can just open a search engine and use the voice input instead of struggling to type with remote and find whatever you need quickly.

I was even able to do my weekly online shopping on a supermarkets website on the TV. It’s incredible. I was able set up all of our favourite streaming services really quickly and connect a dedicated LG soundbar through the HDMI ARC port with no issues.

The sound was great on the new TV but adding the LG soundbar really takes it to the next level. The picture is breath taking and really feels like a home theatre when we turn all the lights off in the evening and put on a movie.

I’m running out of the available words, but all in all the TV is incredible and we are very happy with our purchase. Only downside is the short cord, but couldn’t justify knocking down a star for that.

First of all it’s a solidly built tv and I love the fact that the legs can be mounted on the outside as well as the inside part of the tv because my stand is definitely not as wide as the tv. I like the flexibility and having different mounting options.

As far as the interface goes it’s pretty snappy and I haven’t experienced any lag or stutter. The app selection is great and about 95% of the apps I needed were available in the App Store. Picture quality was pretty good with anything I threw at it whether it was live tv, streaming or disc.

I love the fact that it supports both Dolby Vision and Atmos, and I was surprised at how well the tv speakers were when compared to most tvs. The mini leds easily outperformed my older FALD set at half the price! I’m excited to see what future QNED sets will have to offer.

Peak brightness was excellent and can be blinding given the right situation. While not always a problem, blooming could be very noticeable at times but if you have never owned an OLED this might not be too big of a problem since most LED tvs have this problem and he user might not even notice it.

I turned on VRR for my PS5 and now that I have used it I never want to go back, it is absolutely amazing and gameplay is so much smoother when enabled. The tv is well worth the price and is easy to recommend considering how much better they are than previous non OLED LG televisions.

Quite a disappointing TV, even for an entry-level model. Unfortunately, TV came with serious build issues whereby the entire front panel was half glued to the bezel almost as if they forgot to glue the panel correctly.

While it happens, or shows shoddy build quality. The picture on the display itself is certainly decent but lacks good contrast even for a $600 panel. Glare is terrible, color is good although not great, shadows are decent and motion artifacts are very apparently.

WebOS, even for a new 2022 model TV, is good but laggy on this particular display. This is an average entry-level flat panel and there are much better choices out there. Personally, you can’t get a good TV of this size for less than $700-800 since you’re just giving up way too many features that are a necessity for a good viewing experience – main points being contrast, brightness, color and glare.

Adding: sound is pretty bad, even though expected, it’s one of the worst sounding TV’s I’ve used irrespective of price.

I have been researching TV’s to purchase for my bedroom. I checked prices at various stores. I had a 15% off discount at Target so I decided to buy this TV. No doubt the picture quality is superb, clear, very detailed images.

The main screen where the apps are is to crowded for me. I am 65 and consider myself to be tech savvy. The remote for me is disappointing. The buttons are small, no light on the remote if you want to use it with the lights off, SO you need to install the LG Thin Q app on your phone and get it set up to control the TV from your phone.

There is no LAN cord if you want wired connection, buy separately, I guess that is the norm. I tried wireless connection, will keep wired for now. I have had this TV for 1 day so still getting used to it.

I ordered the TV mount thru Target with installation, will see how that goes. I gave it 4 stars due to the remote. It has also LG channels, none I am interested in, will connect my ROKU. The TV has all the major streaming apps you could want.

I would recommend this TV, great price.

We recently purchased our LG TV from Best Buy. We are very happy with the TC quality, picture, sound, ease of unboxing, etc. The price from Best Buy was also very good (competitive). The issue that we have is the smart TV is quite complicated for us to use.

We basically use just the Spectrum TV app and YouTube. We found that the Spectrum TV app is not available to install on the LG smart TV. Not sure if that is a Spectrum or LG issue. We eventually plugged in our Roku stick into the HDMI1 port and mostly just go to Roku to use the TV.

The interface with Roku and the Roku remote are less complicated to use. Our suggestions would be to solve the Spectrum TV problem and make an easier to use smart TV interface. We will admit that we are 72 years old and just do not want to deal with a complicated TV.

Amazing TV! My choice was between the A95K and the 83″ A90J. no regrets with the A95K although this baby in an 83″ would be INSANE. Getting this baby professional calibrated soon, but out of the box in Custom picture mode with some additional settings turned off provides an exceptional picture (very close to a professional calibration).

I’m getting it calibrated to enhance shadow detail and blues (early reviews are showing blue tones need calibrating. ) One thing that is surfacing in early reviews is the screen when off looks dark grey and not black.

It is true; however, when you start watching TV you don’t notice it and blacks are comparable if not identical to WOLED. Don’t let this distract you from purchasing. The only negative I have and hopefully they will correct on the next update if possible.

for a few over the air channels it can take 5-7 seconds for a channel to load. My old LG E8 never and still does not have this problem, so it is a little frustrating. It will become more frustrating when college football gets here and I am channel flipping.

I was not pleased with this TV, primarily due to the software/operating platform. My kids’ top used app right now is HBO Max and this app would not run properly on this TV’s software. Other apps worked okay but there was still lagging and delays with overall performance.

Likewise with the remote, the TV was slow to pick up the signal when pressing buttons from the remote control. I would push a button and nothing would happen so then I would push it again, and the TV would execute the command twice which was pretty annoying (e.

g. , press the arrow right button to go to a specific app, nothing would happen so press the arrow right button again, and it would move two apps over). The other complaint I have is with the phone app that Samsung insists you must download.

I was inundated with a ton of ads to purchase upgrades and additional services and never could quite get the actual app to work properly. Many of the features in settings were unavailable to me and I never figured out why.

For example, when Best Buy came to pick up the TV (I returned it for reasons stated above), I realized I neglected to log out of all of my apps. I tried to quickly do a factory reset of the TV, and the option was unavailable to me.

There were a couple other instances where Samsung directed me to certain features and options in settings to fix XYZ issue that were also unavailable to me (can’t remember off the top of my head what they were).

I have wall mount hardware that was used for my prior TV that included universal screws to attach the mounting brackets. The instruction manual specified a certain size screw, but the specified screw was too short to attach to the brackets.

I ended up using a screw that was a couple mm longer and it worked out quite well. I read many of the one star and negative reviews on this TV and noticed how Samsung frequently came back with the fact that this is a budget version TV and not intended to be at the level of quality of their more expensive models.

Fine, but sell a TV that has software that works properly. I replaced this one with a different brand and did further research on the operating platforms. I was not impressed with this software (Tizen) and will be sure to steer away from all TVs or products using this platform in the future.

Ordered 75 inch Samsung smart tizen led on 12th July. was delivered on 20th July, as scheduled (awesome, 5* rating). Points I noticed: 1. The TV was kept upside down in the transportation vehicle when they got it out.

It’s transporter responsibility to keep it Right side up (0*). 2. The movers got it inside home in correct side up. Opened infront of me. Took pictures. Took signatures (5 to 6 signatures and I don’t know where I signed.

I was not given time to read. Not right standards. 0*). 3. Bestbuy should ensure that they allow time to plug the TV and check the screen. Majority of sophisticated TV’s have damaged screens as I read from various review channels.

If they wud have waited 3 minutes, it could have saved time because the Screen has internal bloating (refer pictures). Now I have to wait for them to allot time and pick it back again (waste of time).

0*. 4. In a proper boxed condition, if the screen has lines, then either the packaging was not proper which led to the screen getting damaged while transporting or the TV was faulty from beginning, which is Quality Check responsibility.

Who’s responsible here, Bestbuy or Samsung? 0* 5. I have to wait another 10+ days to get another set and don’t know if that is excellent or again faulty (it’s a nightmare to think). 0* 6. Storage: it’s a 75″ TV with extra spacing for box.

As unpacking was done by movers, i wasnt sure how to pack it back. Anyhow, gogle helped. Now, I have to store it until next piece arrives. Had to make large vacant space to store. Loss of space. 0*. Samsung and Bestbuy, they both need to upgrade their standards if they offer transportation.

I don’t know whose fault was this, but as a customer, I lost my TIME (time is precious for me), storage space and no TV unless the next piece arrives. it was an anniversary gift to my Spouse and now it’s in VAIN.

My surprise to my Spouse, gave me a surprise thru bestbuy/Samsung. But I still trust the Samsung brand as I have been using it from decades. considering human errors I am giving this one more chance to keep the trust on Bestbuy and Samsung.

I was extremely impressed with the picture and features on this TV, so much so, that I purchased a second unit for my Garage. Very sharp and high resolution with great color rendition. Very intuitive navigation software is easy to use and packed with great features.

The initial setup routine prompts guide you through the startup-configuration process seamlesy. The setup took less than 10 minutes and automatically downloaded and installed the available firmware updates.

I use both of these TV/Monitors with multiple inputs: Digital Antenna (Local TV Channels); HDMI – Blu Ray Input; Ethernet Internet (Hardwired) Streaming; HDMI-PC Input; USB – External Hard Drive Access and even Wi-Fi – for Streaming from my Smartphone – all function flawlessly.

The exceptional Input Reception Sensitivity for the integral Digital TV Tuner allows me to receive Air Channels which my older TV would not display due to low threshold signal strength. The free Samsung Digital TV Channels offer very good program content and is an added Plus.

This TV affords a lot of “Bang” for your “Buck” and outperforms many higher-priced TV’s and is a cut above many Competitors’ models based on my research. One thing that I wish Samsung would offer is a provision for storing an electronic copy of the comprehensive version of the User Guide directly on the TV proper (I use the USB-Connected External Hard Drive to view my downloaded copy of the User Guide for ready-reference).

GET ONE OF THESE TV’s!.

I chose this TCL because it was a relatively inexpensive Roku based TV. I was familiar with the Roku interface which is wa-a-ay better than the Vizio Smart TV interface I have on another TV. This Roku TV has AirPlay/Cast capability, integrates the live TV channels with the free internet channels, and easily allows removing the subscription “apps” (Netflix, Disney+, etc) from the Home Screen.

Removing subscription apps is important because my TV is in a vacation home that is often occupied by friends and relatives–logging in with their own credentials is not an option (or at least not a good idea), so there is no need to present the subscription apps on the Home Screen.

Guests can always AirPlay/Cast from their phone if they want to view their personal streaming subscriptions. The TV comes with a Roku remote, pretty much the same one used by standalone Roku products.

I set up the TV so it defaults to the Live TV “app” when it is turned on and also removed all the other TV input options from the Home Screen. In addition to the live on-air channels, there are a gazillion free internet TV channels that show up in the Guide.

This is good, but the downside is that the only way to access any channel is by scrolling through the Guide (accessed by hitting the “left” arrow on the remote). The Roku remote does NOT have a number keypad on it, so you can’t jump to a particular channel.

(This is apparently an on-going criticism on Roku user forums). PS: This is a 4K TV so picture quality is actually quite good, especially for a relatively low-cost TV.

There are a few reasons I decided on this TV. For the $250 (on sale) it’s very nice to be able to watch 4K movies. I think it’s supposed to upgrade 1080p and regular DVDs too. I didn’t see any TVs smaller than 43″ that even do 4K.

Even though it’s 43″, it is very light so you can move it around. Just be careful not to press on the screen edges. The picture looks excellent to me. It’s very easy to get it looking right and peoples skin tones look pretty natural.

As far as sound, I use a separate system most of the time, so I really don’t care that much. It seems OK, but the way TVs are made now they don’t have enough room inside for really good speakers anyway.

The Pioneer 43″ 4k has better sound, maybe that is part of the reason it’s heavier. I didn’t even know Pioneer made TVs now. I saw the screen and it looked good. I wanted a lighter TV. The TCL weighs like 5 or 6 lbs.

less than the Pioneer. From what I know TCL has a good reputation for quality and lasting a while. I believe if the TV I bought lasts a long time I’ll be more than happy with it. So far, the Normal picture mode looks best to me with the dynamic contrast on low.

It seems like it looks better with the backlight at least on 90 and the brightness almost half. I like to stop adding to the regular brightness setting just before the blacks on the screen start getting grey.

I put it on the warm setting with the tint just barely on the red side. I like the gamma setting higher up because the colors look deeper. I don’t change it. I think the higher gamma settings are for a darker room, but I don’t care, LOL!! But hey, whatever works for you go for it! Your tastes may be totally different than mine.

This review is for the TCL 43″ Roku TV 43S455 This is an excellent upgrade from my 1st gen (32″ Vizio 720p lcd TV). The slim border allows a much larger viewable screen with about the same size TV box that this one replaces.

I chose this TV because of the Roku system which I’ve been familiar with for many years. I do not have cable or satellite, only antenna and streaming. I really like how the on-screen menu incorporates the antenna and streaming guides seamlessly together.

The older TV setup was very cumbersome to switch back and forth between the two. I love the picture quality! It is excellent! The sound quality is good, but It works better with my old Vizio sound bar.

I was able to reprogram my old cheapie remote control (model GE CL4 7252) to work with reasonably well this TV. The only thing missing is the ability to type in a channel that has a decimal point, which is mainly the over-the-air ones.

The other channels can be directly changed to by using the number pad. The remote that comes with the TV is just a Roku remote without a number pad. No biggie, but its worth trying to get your old remote to work if you can.

I purchased this TV about two weeks ago and I am very happy that I did.

First of all, I hate being spammed after I buy a product to provide a review (like VIZIO does). If I feel strongly about a product, I will find a way on my own to provide feedback. But you asked for it.

PLUS’s: 1. Set-up on both the TV (and optional VIZIO sounder) was easy, but both the devices and the remote controls had to be rebooted several times when they locked up (for example, when I tried the first voice command suggested by VIZIO, the whole system froze) 2.

Good price point 3. Three HDMI ports, including eARC for sound bar hook up 4. Looks really good, with bezel-less design and sound bar that matches in flat black MINUS’s 1. Junky plastic legs were really, really hard to attach without stripping the phillips head screws provided, and they’re not that sturdy.

If you live in CA, you might consider an earthquake cable to anchor to the wall if freestanding 2. Battery covers on the junky plastic remotes were almost impossible to remove, had to literally pry them open with the edge of a very sharp knife 3.

Believe it or not, VIZIO TV’s do NOT support Bluetooth earbuds or headphones “Currently, VIZIO televisions only support Bluetooth LE, which is a low energy form of bluetooth used to assist in pairing the VIZIO SmartCast Mobile application to use devices like smart phones and tablets as a remote for the TV”- from their website.

Fortunately, Apple TV does, but DISH satellite box may require a USB adapter. For SmartCast and WatchFree content, forget it. 4. Picture looked better next to all the Cheap-class TV’s at the store than it does at home, “4K HDR” may be more hype than reality depending on what you watch-DISH requires a DVR upgrade, the bandits at Netflix make you upgrade to their Premium plan at $5 more per month, etc.

Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video do not charge extra. 5. Power cord is permanently attached to the TV, so you have to climb around behind to your wall plug or surge protector for every reboot. 6. Response time on the TV to the remote control can be quite s-l-o-o-o-w at times.

We have this model a few days now. it is replacing a Vizio E701I-A3 1080p which i have had for many years and just died on us. I have been trying to see a difference between the new 4k Vizio and the old 1080p.

I have been playing the 4K content and not really impressed. When i got the first Vizio it wowed me!! I really thought the newer 4K technology would also. Not sure if its the brand or just how it is.

I got the new Vizio one based on my experience of the old one. As far as the built in streaming app, its fast as heck!! Way faster than my older Vizio which is to be expected. Unfortunately I still have to use an external streaming device as Vizio does not carry a few of my regular streaming services (one is major streamer) Which was a disappointment.

We had to upgrade to a 4K streaming device as now the TV is 4K, another $99. Navigation of the Vizio streaming app is not great as far as favorites. It’s very tedious moving them to where you want and still the ones you don’t want are at the end of the row.

I would rather my selected favorites only on one page. When you are organizing if a channel you like is near the end of the list you have to go all they way down to it, select it and go all the way to the beginning of the list where you want it.

What would be nice is if all the streaming services were not all in the favorites by default. Start with a blank slate and add only what you want. Another reason I love my external streaming device very easy to organize and you don’t ever have to have the services you don’t want in front of you.

The settings menu is great very user friendly (I am a bit of a power user on all sorts of technology and find it extremely simple) I’m thinking I should have gone into a store and looked at a few in action to see what the picture looks like.

I still may just to see if this is how all 4K look. Don’t get me wrong the picture is beautiful, I am just comparing how I see the difference between the older 1080p Vizio and the Newer 4K Vizio. If you never had a 1080p, you will be impressed.

I find that the Vizio is a very well made television and if this ones lasts as long as my older one I will truly be impressed because nothing is made that great anymore.

The tv is very nice. Picture quality is great and setup is straight forward and easy. There are some minor annoyances. Vizio’s Smartcast OS is missing some common/popular streaming channels/apps, and it doesn’t allow you to add them manually.

So, you need to hookup another streaming player, such as a Roku, in order to get the channels that are missing from Vizio’s platform. The VESA mounts on the back of the TV are not centered vertically.

They are on the bottom half of the TV. This causes the TV to be top heavy when hung on a wall mount. Our heavy duty, fully adjustable wall mount was not able hold the forward tilt of the TV in the desired position.

We were able to overcome this by jamming some heavy duty machine screws in the adjustment tracks of the tv mount until reaching the desired tilt amount. However, the tightening screws of the tv mount by themselves do not provide enough friction to lock the tv in a forward tilt position.

The TV works nicely with the Vizio sound bar and surround system and the soundbar is controlled directly with the tv remote. Overall I’m very happy with the tv since I was able to overcome these limitations.

There are a lot of online reviews of the A1 that summarise it as not quite as good as the C1, buy the C1. Most of these are American where the price difference between the two is negligible which is not the case in the UK.

So, addressing the ‘negatives’ first, what does the A1 lack that the C1 has? It doesn’t do 120Hz, VRR, HDMI 2. 1, and it’s a little dimmer. If you’re using this TV for gaming etc, then the C1 may be the better choice however we’re not gamers and for TV and Movies this panel is awesome.

The brightness has never felt lacking, even in a brightly lit room during the day and nowhere near maximum brightness we’ve never felt it dull or unable to compete with the ambient light in the room.

We have the TV mounted on the wall, and it is a little thicker at the back lower down than we expected, it’s understandable but given how razor-thin the actual panel is nearer the top, it would have been nice had this bulk been distributed a bit more evenly.

The actual image quality is nothing short of astounding, the out of the box colour calibration feels good, and as it’s OLED it delivers the infinite contrast ratio and inky blacks I’ve been searching for since LCD replaced CRT technology.

The sound is mediocre at best, but that’s the case with all TVs – get a sound bar, you won’t regret it. I’m not a fan of “Smart TVs” but it’s impossible to simply buy a good ‘non-smart’ TV now (I literally just want a panel, the Sky Q, Apple TV, and Blu-Ray Player deliver the content!) but I’ve used the LGs own Netflix and Prime Video apps and they work well and as expected, being able to AirPlay directly to the TV is a nice touch too.

It’s most disappointing, however, to see LG join the other TV manufacturers cluttering the Home Screen with advertisements or sponsored content (at least they’ve stopped short of Samsung who now put it in the menus and input selectors as well!) and use technology which monitors what is being shown on screen to target advertising (they are at least transparent about it, and it’s turned off by default) however when I buy a physical product I do not expect the manufacturer of that product to subject me to advertising – they already have my money – it’s a bit different when it’s a recurring service.

This invasive content aside, the UI is clear and responsive, and will likely meet most people’s needs. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone.

So this is my largest TV that I’ve had so far and it doesn’t disappoint! Going big serves it’s purpose. You get a massive 77 inches worth of feature film space all decked out in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio which is all encoded in the television.

You can adjust the blue light filter to ON or OFF in the picture settings which works great “ON” for sci-fi adventures such as Snowpiercer, Raised by Wolves, or DMZ. The blue filter color pops off bright with various hues of blues and greens that the film or tv producers work with in their production (See Snowpiercer photo).

I advise to turn the blue filter off when watching films or shows that have lots of red and orange hues. Turning it off will allow those colors to pop off the screen brighter (see Blade Runner pictures).

I actually toggled it on and off while watch Blade Runner: Black Lotus & for the show Raised by Wolves. Blade Runner: Black Lotus features various scenes with blues and greens, but also with pinks, and bright reds, and orange.

Meanwhile Raised by Wolves is set on an alien planet where the sun light is obscured at times giving the world a deep pacific ocean blue look. Here’s where the blue light filter works best bringing out a rich blue color on screen.

However the planet’s light changes at times where shutting off the blue filter works best so that the orange and other hues work best on screen (see picture). You can either toggle it between scenes or set the blue light filter permanently on or off to the desired effect you would like to watch the entire series or films you’re watching.

The smart remote control is intuitive and very easy to set up. The smart magic remote can easily control your other devices such as a PS5. It intuitively recognizes a device attached by HDMI to your smart tv and when you turn your device on, the tv automatically turns on with it to the desired output ready to use.

Another cool feature is the LG ThinQ app that runs on your phone (see picture). You can control your tv and other LG connected appliances with this app. How cool is that? The sheer size along with the various features (Film/TV apps, Live Channels, Web access) that’s pack into this 77″ beast is well worth it!!!.

It is very easy to buy a TV with not a lot of money and go for just screen size. Well, size doesn’t matter (lol) when it comes to TV because if the spec isn’t there to match your needs, it is worthless.

I was looking for the best spec money can buy within some budget constraints but til one blows it away. To help you understand my requirements, I have a real gaming passion and have Xbox Series X as well as PC gaming.

Sure, any TV will output the images and graphics you want and can play but if you want the smoothest and cleanest experience you need to have certain specs to support it. This has it and then some! 120hz refresh makes gaming buttery smooth, combined with the anti-tearing technology with the AMD Freesync Premium Pro, the games are seamless! HDMI 2.

1 supported on HDMI 4 port is great and where you want to connect your console. HDMI 3 also supports eArc so if you have external speakers or a soundbar, this is where you want to connect it. Works great with my Sono Beam.

HDR10+ was another option I needed to support the best colouration for the games. Not only for gaming but for movies and general viewing, the colour is well balanced and looks sharp in nearly all scenes.

One thing to note that isn’t shown anywhere, this is a mini led panel. This means there are hundreds of led lights behind the panel rather than it being lit around the edges. With the Neo processor and intelligent mode, you can get some really dark blacks but also an extremely brightly lit screen for when the room is really bright.

While it does not perform as well as OLED for true black, most people would be hard pushed to notice the difference and the gains you get from this over other TVs on the market, you will be impressed.

One important thing to note, it is not a 200×200 VESA mount but a 200×100 config which is unusual. It is meant to be used with Samsungs slim mounting cable system though it supports conventional wall mounts as well with M8 bolts (not supplied).

On another note, this TV is not lightweight so make sure your wall mount is secure else this will rip it off its wall as it weighs around 16kg! Overall, highly impressed with its gaming performance and if you are in the market for something that can truly show what your new-gen console can do as well as give you the richest and best viewing experience for your Sky, Netflix or any other viewing services, this is the TV for you.

I did get this for a great deal as it was on offer at the time of purchase with a 10% discount plus Samsung is doing an offer with £200 cashback so in the end, paying circa £750 for a TV being sold for £1399 on Samsungs website is a complete steal!.

I am having a bit of a mixed feeling with this TV. It is decent value with the black Friday. It is an edge lit display meaning there is no local dimming hence HDR movie is a toss up. SDR, on the other hand, would be decent with proper setting.

However, almost all home owner will not be able to set this TV optimally for SDR viewing. I am in the same bucket at first but was able to set this up to give good picture using the majority of the setting that was provided by rtings dot com.

The key to good pictures in SDR was using the movie picture mode with recommended white balance settings. Without this, the TV was borderline watchable and dare I said was actually a bit worse than the 3 years old Hisense 4K low end TV model.

Don’t get me wrong, the 75Q60A has much higher brightness than the Hisense but without proper White Balance settings, the picture was just washed out compare to the Hisense (which also took me a few months to set it up correctly through experiment).

Over all, I am almost pleased with the TV once it was setup correctly. I am still not pleased with the narrow viewing angle. Straight on the picture in SDR was/is life like with almost 3D like. Off the side a bit the color was just off and the picture was mediocre at best.

It is OK for my viewing since I tend to view the TV straight on but for large crowd gathering to watch sports, it is not ideal. I gave it 4 stars due to the followings a) Black Friday price b) Proper setting for SDR viewing which took almost 4 weeks to setup c) Good black level and is much better than the 3 years old 65 inch Hisense.

d) It is a temporary TV for now. I plan to get an 85″ full array LED with local dimming some time next year.

So I had a sudden impulse ot replace my 7. 1 all singing all dancing with wires and speakers all over the room wiht a single neat soundbar, and boy was this a good decision. You get what you pay for in this life, and sually pay the price for purchasing form one of the general chains instead of a speciailsit like Richer Sounds.

Except I see no other specialists like Richer Sounds. They are knowledgable,cool,helpful and honest. Yes we all read reviews and wathc youtube videos, bu tman are some of these biased!!! Yes, some are really good like stop the fomo or tech steve, but some others just diss samsung and their bias shines out like a diamsond in a goats.

anyway, lets diabuse a couple of the neg points. One guy goes on and on ad nauseam about lack of bass and the need to get the opinonal subwoofer. Heck if you want cinema go to the cinema, or set up an AV reciever etc.

But for me with my new Richer Sounds 75 inch Samsung and this soundbar I am superhappy. OK it does not do the qsymphony but who cares. The room is filled with great sound and the 5. 0 setup in this quality smart fabric covered bar and more than satisfies me.

Bearing in mind I am moving from full AV,it should be thin, but it aint. It is needed we all know tha tSamsung tv sound is, er not great, but that is ignored due to other aspects,. But you need a soundbar! Ok, spend a few HUNDRED more and get more features, but dont spend less and get a bar that performs like two bean cans and a pc of string.

This fills the bill for me. Ok, spec. You get two nice tweeters and an essential centre speaker and two woofers and a fancy 2 side hrons for surround total 7. Has wifi bluetooth and optical and at firs ti set up all of them for fun but eventually settled for the hdmi port to eARC hdmI on tv for great sound.

then all other plugged in stuff like sky and bluray and firestick all feed auto to the soundbar every time. If you want satellite speaker and subwoofers go for it , I dont need them. The thing has Alexa(Alexa increase the volume, Alexa do this etc) and can stream music.

Remember folks quality is remembered llong after price is forgotten (or perhaps its the other way around if you are a tightwad). Has Apple airplay, dont get confused over qsyphony the usa model is said to have it but any reviews telling you Q60a has it is wrong.

Note that the Q61A is the same thing in silver, but that the Q60T is last years model and different in many ways.

This is my very first 65″ and 4K TV. The QN60B Samsung QLED 4K Smart TV is absolutely amazing! It’s incredibly thin. Before I even did setup, just after installing it on the wall, I noticed that after using my Samsung phone, the TV had automatically recognized and connected to my Samsung soundbar through the software.

It recognized the series and everything. It automatically switched the volume over to the soundbar so that my Samsung TV remote volume buttons actually control the soundbar and not the TV volume. I didn’t have to download another app or find some deep-hidden setting.

It also easily connected to my Amazon account and for the first time, I can change my volume just by telling Alexa!!! The ease of having everything pretty much connect itself was amazing, no having to dive too deep into a manual or have to find some loop hole to get something to work.

One word for this TV? EASY! All of this in and of itself was awesome but the video. Oh my gosh, you would have thought this was a 3D TV. My husband and I watched The Walking Dead and it looks like you are standing right next to the actors.

It is so crisp and clear and we noticed how much detail in the picture we’ve never been able to pick up on before. We saw details that we had missed before because we can finally see!! Between the size and the QLED 4K, it reminds me of VR.

We watched a movie with the kids and even though it was an animated film, the picture quality makes it look like you are right there with the characters. It’s funny because we saw more of the mannerisms displayed by the characters in the way they moved and in their expressions – I felt like I was watching the movie for the first time.

Now, I haven’t previously owned a Samsung TV with this capability, but seeing it in QLED 4K, it changes the way you see movies and characters. My family and I are gamers. When we tested out with the Switch and played Mario Kart, we were thrilled that although we had to break up the screen for the four of us, it was so much easier to see! We each had 32″ for our viewing square!! I could make out better where I was going, was able to better see traps, and overall had a greater appreciation for the upgraded picture quality.

The kids absolutely loved it and wanted to stay up to see more movies in the better quality. Even the sound seemed better (matching electronics?). It’s amazing how much of a difference 4K is! I have received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

*I received this product at discount price for my honest opinion* I bought Q60B 65″. I was skeptical at first reading all reviews comparing OLED and QLED. I tested this TV with all types of media: Sports, Movies, Music Videos, Photo Slides and used the Samsung’s OS for TV.

I believe this TV surpassed all my expectations. You can’t go wrong with Samsung. They have built this TV considering every aspect and functionality user might want in their TV. Let’s see each major aspect in detail: QLED and Quality: This 4K QLED Technology is very pleasing to the eyes and only noticeable difference to OLED while viewing this in Dark.

Other than QLED has everything if not better. I like how rich and smooth the display is for all kinds of content. Remote: I love how remote is solar powered and can charge with Type C cable which is normal for today’s gadgets.

There are no hassle with AAA batteries at all. Remote is small and compact and has all buttons needed and screen guides you which button to use OS: Samsung’s Tizen OS have all apps that you need and has organized everything perfectly.

It is smooth, fast & user friendly. Initial Setup was very easy to use and provided all the steps needed. (Samsung account needed but not mandatory). You can sync and add your TV to your phone(Smart things App).

You can control some of the features right from your phone. You can even use it as computer with Dex. I love new features added like google Duo, MultiView screens (even you can save vcariants of your multiview), Supports Bixby, Google assistant and Alexa.

TV Size: TV is perfectly shaped with very very small bezels which make viewing superior. Moreover, TV is also very thin in depth which is perfect for mounting on wall or putting on stand. There are so many slots for HDMI cables and are placed on the right along with buttons for controlling the interface.

Things to Improve: – I noticed small blur while playing high action games like COD and rarely response time takes a hit but nothing major – Limited to 60hz is also not high profile for Gaming but it gets the job done and not noticeable after playing for few minutes Other than these caveats, this TV is perfect for consuming all kinds of media and ideal for your needs.

You will not go wrong with this TV.

My initial thoughts while unboxing the 75” Samsung Q60B was how impressively slim both the width of the TV is as well as the bezel around the screen. This replaced a 2017 55” LG and even with the big upgrade in screen size, the Q60B still feels less obtrusive in my living room since it sits so much closer to the wall.

That being said, I was a bit disappointed when I noticed a gap between the back panel of the TV where it attaches to the screen in the top left corner. Definitely a slight manufacturer defect that I wouldn’t expect from a TV in this price range.

Luckily it doesn’t seem to affect the image quality but as the other three corners sit flush with the screen, it is a noticeable defect. After getting the TV mounted and turned on, the setup was pretty straight forward.

The SolarCell remote is awesome and can be charged with the built in solar panel on the back or via usb-c. The picture quality is incredible. I felt like I was watching newly remastered versions of existing TV shows.

There’s a noticeably wider range of colors than previous televisions I’ve had, but I will say that out of the box, the default picture settings can be a bit hot when it comes to whites or brighter scenes.

As far as gaming, there are times where dark objects on screen can be hard to differentiate from dark backgrounds. I do believe this can also be corrected by adjusting the picture settings, but it stood out as something I’d need to look into and work on.

Who do I think this TV is for? If you’re like me coming from an older, smaller entry level 4k television and you’re looking for a feature loaded TV with a size upgrade from a reputable brand that won’t break the bank, I highly recommend the 75” Q60B.

It looks more expensive than it is, and it’s got the tech to keep you happy for years to come. If you’re a gamer and willing to spend a bit more to get something with a 120hz refresh rate for your next gen console, you might want to hold off.
