20 Best Twin Blade Razor (2022 Updated)

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the Bic Twin Select razors. They are sharp and glide on the face pretty well. I haven’t had any problems with irritation or cuts on my face while using them. They also last a fairly long time, too.

I use each razor for two weeks before moving on to the next one (I shave every other day). I thought I was going to run into problems with the blades getting clogged because of how close together they are, but I have had no issues with clogged blades using the Twin Select.

You get a lot of bang for your buck with these razors; I would recommend them to folks looking for a cheap, quality disposable razor.

At 68, I have used a variety of razors; electric, blade and disposable. The BIC Twin Select disposable razors are some of the best razors I have ever used. They are inexpensive, easy to maneuver in tight places (like by the nose) and provide a comfortable, close shave.

That’s why I just bought another 90! I typically use about one per month which says something about their durability. When I switch to a new razor, I certainly feel the difference, but am always amazed that I continue to use each razor for a month.

That means, I enough razors for about 7 years! So I probably will give a pack or two to some of my closest friends.

This is a minimalist dual blade razor, sleek, small and able to do the job without a gazillion blades or an over the top price. Economical and efficient. The blades are as sharp and durable as your too cool $12 blades.

Works great, lasts a long time and won’t burn a hole in your wallet.

When someone comes in for a tattoo we need to work on skin that is clean, free of blemishes and hair. When we need to make sure that there’s no hair we use these razors. They are single-use razors; we never try to clean them or use them on another person because that’s just asking for trouble.

These are single blade razors so they aren’t going to do a great job if you have a lot of hair to clear; you need to clean the blade often to avoid having hair get stuck between the blade and the top and bottom part of the plastic holder.

If we are doing a large back piece on someone we only have to use one of these to clear the area but if someone has a lot of back hair, we might have to use two to avoid irritating the skin with a slightly dull blade.

I get these for. 17 cents a piece because I buy them in bulk; the five and ten packs in stores are relatively inexpensive when compared to other razors but they are single blade not multi blade. They are great if you are traveling and want something that is disposable.

When I’ve used these in the past I never got any cuts from them but I only used them on my legs when I would grab one from the shop to take home and use when I was completely out of razors.

I have used BIC disposable razors before when I had nothing else to use and now I would rather not even shave if I had to use one. The last time I remember I used a BIC disposable razor I had cuts on my legs and that was even with shave gel.

BIC is probably the worst razor I have ever used in my entire life. Everytime that I have ever had to use this razor my legs were left feeling like the were on fire because of razor burn and the nicks on my legs, and thats even with using the one for sensitive skin.

I almost actually believe that this razor cuts more skin than it does actual hair. I definetly will never use this razor again nor do I recommend it. I think I would rather try to shave with a butter knife than to ever use this razor again.

The only thing good about this razor is its cheap but even that wouldn’t give me enough reason to ever buy it again. Other people may like it but I don’t and thats why it gets a bad rating from me.

I do most of my shaving in the shower, and this Bic Sensitive 2 has been doing a great job. It has a strip to help keep from any of that burning feeling after the shave, and I’ve not once ever felt that way.

It has always shaved close and done a great job, even when I’ve gone multiple days to a week without shaving. It cuts through the tougher stubble without any issues. Also, one of the features I like on the shaver is the cover for the razor slides on and off, instead of clipping on.

Those clip on covers always seem to come off at inopportune times with other razors, but these stay on even if you drop the razor. I’ll definitely get these Bic Sensitive 2 razors again.

Every household should have a supply of BIC disposable razors on hand You never know when you are going to need them. You are on a business trip (remember them). You reach into your shaving kit and no razor.

Never fear, your wife packed your back up razor and all is well. This BIC Sensitive razor works well and provides a great shave. My wife, who is a bit hard to please, said it was the best disposable razor she has ever used.

i found the pivoting head very useful and provided a clean and comfortable shave. Get them today.

During the winter months I experience more shaving irritation especially on my neck. I have been using Bic razors for as long as I can remember. I remember when they fist arrived in the 70s. I have used them continuously since then.

These two blade razors with the lubricating strip definitely seem to help with irritation. For some reason they seem to be extra sharp and really give a close shave. I am very happy with this model and will likely continue to use it year around.

BTW. my all time favorite pen was the Bic Banana.

While on vacation recently, I busted the head on the Merkur 23c I’d settled on as my daily driver. While waiting on a replacement head, I decided to look into the idea of finding an economical version of something in nice, sturdy stainless steel.

While doing that, I ran across a video from my favorite Youtuber (One Nick Shabazz) reviewing his favorite DE razor, the Feather AS-D2. As with most cravings of a capitalistic nature, this led my poor *** to checking in on the resale market for such a luxury item.

After failing to find anything pretty much everywhere I looked, I decided to roll the dice and miraculously found one for sale on FB Marketplace, 15 minutes away. and listed for only $35. Not believing my luck, I jumped on this, made an even-more-lowball offer (because why not) and walked away with this razor and a huge stack of blades for $25 freaking dollars.

Seems the older woman selling it was doing so because her Son had been unable to sell it in over a year (listed at the retail price) after not liking it after 2 shaves. He failed to communicate the actual price to his mother, she judged what it was worth on her own and as a result I now have a razor with tolerances tight enough to feel like jewelry rather than something you use to hack stubble off of my face every day.

Frankly, I didn’t really “get” the value of this razor until I had it in my hand and against my face. It looked so much like the dozen antique and modern razors I already had. But yes, there was definitely something there that felt tangibly different.

The head is a perfected copy of an antique Gillette Tech made with modern materials, a CNC cutter and computer plotting the angles to maximize contact with the blade for maximum rigidity. For someone with extremely sensitive skin, this thing shaves like a breath of fresh of air.

Providing a close shave which was also mild enough to actually avoid rather than just lessen my usual razor burn. So I asked myself, why didn’t I get this thing years ago? And then I remembered the normal retail price.

And I laughed. Cackled even. Like some ********* evil sorcerer from a Saturday morning cartoon. Because I had finally won the game of shaving for the foreseeable future. So this is my shamelessly useless brag about my amazing luck along with my hopefully useful review of this razor’s actual performance.

Which I will sum up by saying that it’s extremely mild while also being very effective at removing stubble. The shaving angle is also more intuitive than what I’m used to, making it very nimble in tight spaces like under my nose and around the corners of my mouth.

Apart from that, there are also a few intangibles like the ergonomics of the handle, the finely balanced goldilocks heft of it and the thick matte chrome finish that make this feel like a luxury item.

It is a tad shorter than the 23c but manages to feel long and stable enough in-hand that I don’t need it to be any longer. That and the amazingly fine knurling make it feel like it’s super glued to my fingers, even when soapy and wet.

Not sure there’s anything more to say about the AS-D2. Surprisingly, it actually does provide a noticeable upgrade over everything I’ve shaved with up til now. Is it worth the actual retail price? For me.

probably not. But at $25 I most certainly can’t complain.

I never write reviews, but this time I had to take a moment because I spent so much time reading everyone else’s reviews and unsure whether I should spent this much money on a DE razor. I have plenty of others, most of the time with the Merkur 34c, or my Supply 2.

0 single edge, both of which I really like. But this Feather AS-D2 is in another league altogether. I’m using Feather blades and barely even can detect the blade as it glides so smoothly in this razor, the closest shave I’ve ever experienced.

The first try, no weepers, no cuts, no irritation of any kind. Even though we are talking about only 3 pieces of steal here…the way it is engineered and made so precisely is what makes it extremely efficient.

I always did 3 passes, but 1 pass is pretty much all I need for a daily morning shave (I’ll still do 2 passes, no need to waste the lather). I see people saying it is mild, yes that’s true but it is very efficient, really the easiest DE safety razor I’ve used with the closest shave and the highest quality.

If I grow my short beard back, I’ll probably use the Supply single edge with the aggressive plate when I cut it off, but other than that all my razors are under the sink and this Feather is my every day razor.

Yes its expensive, but worth it if you want high quality, long lasting, super close shave, and no irritation.

I’m very impressed with the machining, fit and finish of the razor. It feels great in the hand, and after two months of regular use it still looks like it did straight out of the box. Definitely worth getting the edition that includes the stand.

The shave quality is also great. Compared to my more generic butterfly safety razor I feel less of the blade but it is capable of a much closer shave. I have to be pretty careless to cut myself with the razor, and absentmindedness is actually more likely to result in a pass of the blade that doesn’t cut anything, and because the feeling is so gentle it won’t feel obvious that I missed.

In that sense you will want to pay attention to what you are doing as you guide the razor across the curves of your chin and jaw, but if you do you will be rewarded with a very close shave and no irritation to speak of.

I got this razor because I’ve been using Feather blades for 10+ years. It holds them perfectly and I think this is the key to being able to get a close shave even as the razor feels like it’s gliding across your skin.

My only gripe is that it’s a little harder to get to the area right under my nose than it was with my other razor.

I am a frugal person always looking for the next great deal. I have tried other “inexpensive” razors, including the fixed head version of this razor, (very cheap and not worth it) and keep being disappointed.

I even tried the ones advertised to be wonderful and amazing, (Harrys, Shave Club, etc) and have been very disappointed. I did not have high hopes when buying these razors, but I am extremely shocked at how well they work.

Easy to maneuver, clean shave, and the blade seems to last longer. This is coming from a person with sensitive skin and cannot get many shaves out of each razor.

I have been using these blades for approximately 15 yrs. I use about 1,200 of these blades per year that’s a total of 18,000 blades all without one complaint. The trick to a consistent perfect shave is all about the preparation before application steam towel and hi guilty hot lather and applying proper reverse pressure to each stroke of the blade.

These blades are perfect for the professional.

I used traditional Mach 3 (not turbo, not sensitive) for many years. Recently, I decided to try some of the disposables on the market. Gillette’s Sensor3 has something in the lubristrip that is not good to my face.

So I tried these 2-blade classics. Then I compared Mach 3 to these 2-blade and actually found these to shave more comfortably. I can’t say it shaves closer than a Mach3, but being a daily shaver I simply need a clean, nick-free, bump-free shave that is comfortable.

That is what these provide. I have learned that for a very close and comfortable shave, a brush and some British-made cream are the trick when using these 2-bladers. But 95% of the time a shave using sensitive foamy, gillette sensor 2 plus, and some good aftershave lotion make for a perfectly acceptable shave that takes 5 minutes or less.

Cons: I don’t get much more than 3 or 4 comfortable shaves out of one. Usually by shave 5 the lubrastrip is dry, and the razors are dulling/pulling. But, at around $. 50 per razor, i just throw away the old and grab a new.

I realize a classic DE razor is potentially cheaper, but not as comfortable for me.

I had always been afraid of traditional shaving but since I have to shave many times a week, this product makes my life a lot easier, apart from that it is beautiful and I recommend it

Wasn’t sure if this would be as good as my other adjustable razor but shocked how smooth a shave it gives especially with Feather blades. Highly recommend for first timers and experienced equally.

As a thick bearded man with history of using both disposable razors and electric shavers, the product was something I’m already familiar with. Upon using the product, I realized it simply cannot shave clean with two or three strokes when there is a thick layer of shaving cream.

On the contrary, if too thin of shaving cream is applied, it becomes too painful due to all the frictions. As matter of fact, I ended up using my own electric shaver to finish off because there were still a lot of left over beard that I wasn’t able to shave it off just by using the product.

In conclusion, the product was unfortunately a miss for me due to unsatisfactory result and this may be due to its limitation with two blades. It may be more suitable for those with lesser beard or other body parts but just not for those with thick beard.

This product was not very good. I am usually an electric razor guy but wanted to see if the traditional way of shaving would be any better. it wasn’t. The blade is small and not very sharp. I had to keep rinsing it off and re-applying shaving cream.

I have thick hair and had to press down pretty hard so the blade could get the hair off. I have sensitive skin and after using this product, my face feels itchy and a little uncomfortable. It did leave my skin feeling smooth as a babies bottom, which is about the only thing I did like about it.

I think this product would be good for a small amount of hair such as on legs or chest, but I wouldn’t recommend using for a beard.

I love these for traveling. I do not like taking my main exit with me because there is nothing worse than leaving an expensive razor in a hotel room and checking out without it. I travel a lot for work and these come in handy.

They work just as well as a regular razor, but I don’t care if I forget one behind. The shave isn’t as smooth as my expense non disposable razor, but they get the job done and no razor burn.

If you’re a male, don’t buy these. I have to go over the same spot on my face numerous times and it still doesn’t shave it right. I bought two boxes, so I suppose these will be wasting my time for awhile.

I stopped to check the box to see if these were seriously intended for men. The box said “Unisex”. I don’t know HOW they came up with that “Unisex” label, but it sure isn’t true. I don’t usually write reviews, but this allows me to both vent my frustration and warn 50 percent of the population not to buy these.

I’ve been using these for years and found them very satisfactory for the price. No, they’re not as stylish or as good as the umpteen-bladed top-name brands, but they’re significantly better than other cheap-and-cheerful disposables that I’ve tried and regretted.

I’ve just had an offer from a big-brand company to sign up for their posh blades, but there’s too much Yorkshire blood in my veins for me to spend more than 8 times the price I pay for Bics. They can’t possibly last 8 times as long as I eke out my Bics – 3 to 4 weeks usually – I told you I was mean!.

Best effective razors of them all. Might only be two blade but it’s stronger than any other brands putting 5 blades together and still nothing compared to this.

I bought these in May 18, one razor will last for a week on shaving daily. On shaving every other day will last at least one and a half weeks. When pulling the hairs its ready for another. To me they are better than I expected.

I definitely recommend this Dial Vanilla Honey Hand soap to everyone as its really good. Smells amazing even after a wash. Makes my hand very smooth and soft. Most important it’s affordable by anyone as you can buy this just in $1.

Love this soap. Well I love dial hand soap brand anyways but this scent is amazing. Leaves my hand soft and not dry or a gross feeling. Leaves them clean and scented. The price for dial hand soap is amazing too.

90 cents a bottle for the good quality soap is amazing! I buy 2 to 3 a month at that price. I support the dial product all the way.

This hand soap is my holy grail! I actually found this at the dollar store and I am so glad that I decided to buy it! First of all, the smell is sooooo yummy! I’m always finding reasons to wash my hands just so I can use it again! It also leaves my hands soft and smooth and doesn’t dry them out.

I am so happy with these razors. I am very “sensory” and can’t stand the “moisturizing strip” that so many woman’s razor’s have. I am so happy I found these. I buy them by the 100 (or 200 when they have that available).

The one complaint is that when I shave my legs I need to use a separate razor for each one since the hair gets trapped between the blades and then blocks the blades impeding the cut. Even so I still think they are worth it.

Best razors i have used. I have paid a lot more money for high-end razors at Walmart and Walgreens that are no better than these double blade razors. I get the same smooth close shave. Maybe it’s just me.

They’re sharp causing zero razor burn, lithe with little to no effort, excellent at cross and against growth direction without the ouch. I’ve used one for two weeks without recriminations except with 99 of the 100 left it won’t break the bank to renew hope.

Heck of a value is my testimony.

I just received these razors a few days ago and I could not wait to try them. They gave me a very close shave with very little effort. I like the non slip handles because this way you have a nice good grip of shaving your face.

I also like the vitamin E strip because this way I don’t get irritation bumps. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

i used to think exfoliation doesn’t work but tbh the problem was the razor all this time. more blades just never seemed to work for me, this gave me the closest shave ever my skin is so smooth and soft im also prone to strawberry legs but they’re barely visible now!! even when i shave stubbles i never get nicks/cuts, also a bad habit they NEVER get clogged with hairs so i dispose them later than i should.

It’s a razor, pretty pastal colours because ladies have to have bright colours for getting rid of unwanted hair you know. We can’t function without that. Razors are plastic handle, with the sharp bit at one end, don’t put sharp bit anywhere near any area you don’t want to shave, or risk cutting.

Ask yourself who in the current situation is going to see your hairy bits, can it wait, can you be bothered? If not, then these are for you. glides smoothly along skin, and rips out hair pain free, unless your hand isn’t so steady.

Makes bits and flaps hair free subject to your requirements. Don’t drink and use, cheap and cheery much like the drink I’m consuming. Love you wilko.

I have tried these recently and pretty impressed! I was sceptical due to being a cheaper however my skin has remained smooth after use and I achieved a close shave with no irritation. They are durable and not flimsy and also look rather pretty, for a razor anyway.

I have used 1 razor approximately 5 times before disposing of it.

The razors work great! I use it to prepare patients for laser hair removal and it’s been great. I use them only one time and they are great quality-price!

Okay. I found nine razor heads long ago, and the package said the razors were compatable with Altra razors. When shopping I would occasionally look for Altra razors so I could use my found blades with no success.

I was on line recently, and realized I could order an Altra razor to enable my use of the found blades. I found these, ordered them, and the blades I have had in a drawer for months indeed fit, work great, and I’m one happy camper.

This was a replacement for one that wore out after a number of years. It is very light weight — the very first Atra handle I had was metal and was better. Then the metal ones were extremely expensive, so I had to go with the lighter plastic model.

So I knew what I was getting this time. Since it is a 2 pack, I should be covered for a long while at about $5 each as opposed to about $100 for the heavy metal ones.

well, this is just nuts. i have been using my first razor for going on two weeks now. i am 75, have a trimmed beard and dry shave. i use a little fingernail brush to keep the blades clean of stubble.

the first shave, well, i got a couple small cuts. but i learn quickly. and have been using this first razor for at least 8 shaves and it still works just fine. i had been using 3 blade ones and i just threw a new one into the trash.

two blades is just great. i like to feel it cutting and doing its job. but still comfortable and quick. just my take. clas.

Bought them for a trip – they passed through security in a carry-on bag (properly packaged and displayed, of course) with no problems and gave me a good, cut-free shave multiple times throughout that trip.

They are well-packaged and brand new.

Good Razor for the price. Didn’t cause nicks and cuts, like other cheap razors. Doesn’t give you the sheer close shave than let’s say a Gillette Pro Fusion. Still for the price, it is a decent razor.
