20 Best Twin Engine Plane (2022 Updated)

I’m pushing 60, have never flown an rc plane and always wanted to so i bought this rtf, built it quickly and easily, read and watched everything i could about it and flying, and finally went out yesterday morning to a (very) large open park to just run it along in the grass, maybe hop up and down in a straight line, etc.

to get used to it initially without risking crash damage first day out. I did this thru the first battery (never got more than the tail off the ground) and then put the new battery in it and proceeded to do the same, however, the plane had a different idea.

After about two runs along the ground, it went fully airborne on me. It was the coolest feeling. It was very stable, lift to about 4′ so i gave it a little up elevator and took it up to about 30′ and then banked left – all very easy and in total control.

I was flying an rc plane for the first time in my life. What a blast. I’m all tweaked, trimmed (the gear needs work – put collars on both sides of the wheel hubs instead of the washers on the inside like they show and describe) and ready to go some more.

If you’re just getting into this, this is the perfect package for you – $350 all in with an extra battery. PS – I already bought the next plane – Eflite 1. 5m P51 and a spektrum NX8 when i’m ready – it may not be this year though.

I’m not even going to take it out of the box until I’m proficient with this Cub.

This Hobby plane was given as a gift. It was greatly received and you could see the excitement in the body language. As the inner packaging became revealed the smile lessened. There was much to do and the instructions were daunting.

Frustratingly we continued to try and understand the technical terms and the order of what was expected. This is where I suggested going to see if a Google video was available. Thankfully it was and offered much assistance.

My thought is to have a tutorial. It’s a plane for beginners and you don’t want them to be discouraged before the plane leaves the ground. Anything new requires good instructions and SUPPORT.

In Safe mode it is stable and easy to learn to fly, I flew in the wind and hit a tree and it fell to the ground from 25′ or so, Only used hot water to expand the foam and a bit of hot glue and had it back to flying in about 10 minuets, Very durable.

Also I’m not patient and I had a few hard landings but its still going and I never flew before so yes I think its the best. :).

Despite not being a particularly dazzling performer, the Bf110 has always been a bit of a favourite of mine from WWII, so when the first version was produced by Cobi I had to have it, and likewise with this new version.

The old version was actually very good, so there wasn’t much room for improvement. On first glance there isn’t much to choose between both versions, but as the new one is a later mark and has a different camouflage pattern it’s well worth adding to anyone’s collection.

The most noticeable difference is the fact that the new version is pad printed, so none of the dreaded stickers! Cobi are so good at this printing process, so the markings are clear and sharp, the way the fuselage markings have been done is similar to the new Bf109, so not only does it look good, it also improves the overall shape of the fuselage sides.

The camouflage scheme is very attractive, making good use of the new coloured blocks and pads that were created for the US helicopters. German ‘splinter’ camouflage really does lend itself well to block kits, and the sharks’ tooth nose looks very effective.

Another new feature is the front of the engine nacelles. I applaud Cobi’s efforts to improve this area of aircraft with inline engines, and the new pieces do offer a more streamlined look back from the propellor spinners, but still aren’t quite there yet.

I’m sure it will happen. Overall, it was an enjoyable and straightforward build that took a couple of hours and, once again, the end result is amazing. It looks good and is robust enough for me to fly it round the room in my more childish moments! Great service from Brick Tanks, as always, despite being hampered by post-Brexit bureaucracy.

I have something of a soft spot for the Bf110. completely outclassed by the British Mosquito (another firm favourite as my Polish father worked on them at coastal command during WW2. In fact as Cobi’s Mosquito model is liveried to be one from the airfield he was based at, its likely he worked on the very plane Cobi reproduced!) nevertheless I find something appealing about its pencil thin fuselage, twin engine arrangement, long cabin and twin tail.

Cobi have done an excellent job of reproducing its shape utilising some of their clever “gender switching” grommets to flip blocks round and attach them base to base. Having gone with the brilliant and iconic wasp nose art for the previous release of the 110, this time they’ve gone with the equally iconic shark mouth on the bright yellow nose.

An enjoyable build which shouldn’t be too much trouble for anyone with some basic block skills, it also utilises their brilliant pad printing which all aligns perfectly and avoids any end of model sticker disasters! Well done Cobi, top marks and top marks to Brick Tanks for supplying it with free and fast next day delivery.

I have got this set today and just when I built the wings I realised it was gonna be a good set. The best bits are the camouflage and the AMAZING engine shape , wing shape and its good looks , i have no issues with this set , compared to the old one its looks amazing.

Its a very fun build and after a hard day it was nice to sit down and have a fun build.

Power Up 2. 0 airplanes are great and fun! They fly for 30 seconds. That’s a long time! For example, I threw the plane and it went to the end of my hallway. Power Up 2. 0 airplanes are great. First of all I threw it and it went very high.

It actually hit the ceiling! Power Up 2. 0 airplanes are really fun! The battery pack fits on almost any plane! You can build anything and the motor will still work. This helps you to be really creative!.

My daughter bought this for me for Christmas. It was a lot of fun trying it out together. It took some tweaking to get it right, but then it would stay up in the air for a few minutes at a time. Unfortunately, it stopped working after a few uses, but I contacted the company and they quickly replaced it without any hassle.

I got the replacement, and it works great!.

This is a great item, easy to use, and flies great. In the park we went to, one 20s second charge easily and routinely gives close to 1 minute of flight time on some designs (Powerup only advertises 30seconds).

Bring a bunch of paper, and you can test different designs easily. BUT the more space the better— these things can travel!.

Hands down the best trainer available for learning to fly RC aircraft. The SAFE mode really assists new pilots get over the jitters of the first few flights. Of course I always recommend working with a local club instructor.

Almost all AMA clubs provide instruction to help new flyers discover the sport. Highly recommended aircraft.

I’m a new to the RC market, but I love this plane. Loads of fun, easy to put together. Flying it is easy, as it almost flies itself. Very nice looking quality built plane. Only one downer is I ordered the GPS and auto land sensor and they are on back order.

I love this plane it’s so easy to fly anybody could do it the GPS module make flying totally relaxing because you know what any moment you can hit the button and it will land where you took off from

I have enjoyed renewing my love for this “toy” after the 75 years since I first played “airplane” with this wonderful little flyer! That was BEFORE WORLD WAR II, if you can believe that. It wasn’t a “jet” in those days, but was exactly the same shape, just different graphics.

It flies so excellently, and has done some incredible stunts, especially with some wind in the air! Should an 85 year old “kid” be allowed to feel like a seven year old? Well, no one has complained yet, even though one flight took it all the way up, high enough to land on the roof of a neighbor’s roof! It was amazing.

I suppose no one will read this, but I can love talking about this glider if even no one is listening!.

I ordered these balsa wood planes for my Grandson. This company knows how to ship balsa wood airplanes. The box was heavy cardboard and the planes were received without any damage. My grandson has had a great time flying them.

Even though there is still snow on the ground, he runs around and is happy seeing the planes glide along. If anyone is going to buy balsa airplanes, they need to buy them from this company, because they know how to get them to you in fantastic shape.

A simple, fun toy that has been in production for many years, these gliders require no batteries or internet connection, yet can entertain young children for hours. They are easy to assemble, and the instructions describe how to adjust the wing position to fine tune the flight of the glider.

Use them indoors or out, and if they break they are easy to repair with a little glue. A fun toy for young or old.

This airplane is an excellent FPV platform, and allows easy take offs, and smooth flying characteristics. The covering is very nice and the graphics are fantastic. The balsa in the wings is very thin and the wings are light weight.

The horizontal stabilizer mounting is a little flimsy, and needs some triangle stock on the bottom side for extra strength. The nose piece and motor nacelles are very thin plastic, but can be reinforced on the inside with packing tape.

I replaced the nose gear with a flexing strut, which smoothed out takeoffs on grass. HeliDirect: please consider carrying replacement parts !.

Just started putting together the DHC-6. So far, the kit looks like it is complete. Instructions leave a lot to be desired for someone who might be a beginner. A lot of clean up work to get parts to fit correctly (not a big deal, and it’s part of the enjoyment).

It is easier if you use the suggested parts for assembly.

I saw this plane and thought hay this would. Be a good first full build, so I ordered it. Then I got a call to go bk to work in Ak. Two days befor I leave it arives 🤗. But I can’t open it up. Finely get to Ak I’m dieng to see it all in its glory.

Its a very solid plane. Very durable it dose wingtip stall when at low speeds and you have to come in a little hot when landing. But it is very fun plane to fly.

Was at my LHS last Sunday to buy a float kit for my Apprentice. I purchassed that plane to re-introduce myself to the hobby after a fifteen year break. the SAFE Technology sealed the deal. It saved my (and the planes) skin more than once in the beginning but the transition to full control was fast and easy.

However, what I learned was the SAFE system allowed me to fly in some rather unforgiving wind conditions and further added to my confidence. So, while at the store I ran across the display for the Sport Cub S.

A rather nice looking almost micro size craft with all the same features as my Apprentice in a smaller package. and, the fact the transmitter for the Apprentice would operate it. well, I added the craft to my fleet.

That and four more batteries. Late that afternoon, after charging all the batteries from my USB port, even though somewhat windy, I 12ided a maiden flight was in order. Went over to the nearby schoolyard (dangerous, basketball stands, light standards, ringed with power poles and lines.

my 64 year old bones should know better) and took ‘er’ up. staying in SAFE mode. Flew great right out of the box, minimal trimming, great landings (keep a bit of power on. it’s a cub). Flew three batteries through it.

Now, at 5:30, still a bit too windy, I 12ided one more flight was in order. All was well and as I was about 20 feet up on final, a big ole breeze/updraft hit me. and the cub. up, up, up, and literally dropped onto the power pole.

across two insulators with the tail feathers hooked in one line. for some reason (lucky) it didn’t short the wires. would’ve looked like a giant mosquito in a electric fence. I wiggled the rudder, elevator, ailerons,.

ran the motor a couple of times. no joy, it just sat up there, undamaged, pretty as you please. So. I swallowed my pride and called the power company. no small feat getting a human on a Sunday evening.

I told the operator at the power company that this was likely going to be the dumbest phone call for the week. I explained the situation, said I was a bit concerned about shorting the wires, (didn’t mention I wanted my flawless, less than 6 hour old model back) and.

she said she’d sent out a truck. probably laughed at me for the rest of her shift. So. I wait. 6:30 comes and goes, 7:30 comes and goes. it’s dark, it’s getting cooler fast, neighbors are occasionally looking out their back windows wondering whats this old guy doing out here? I figure the 5oh is gonna stop by soon.

Annnnnnd, a strong breeze again. and out of the corner of my eye I see something white fly buy. looked like a bird. Its the Cub. blown out of the wires!!!!!! My transmitter was still on from my horsing around earlier and.

I guess SAFE did its job. one of the nicest landings I’ve witnessed. the wind blew the model out of the wires, SAFE righted it and levelled it to a nice three pointer. Absolutely damage free. I flew it half of the next day, Monday at my flying field.

At least there, no verticle or horizontal things to ruin my day. And yes, I did call the power company back and yes I did have to tell a different person my sob story after getting through all the recordings.

A long winded way to tell readers, SAFE works great and this Sport Cub S is ton of fun. had I not gotten it back, I would’ve gotten another. it flies that well! Rob *.

Outstanding trainer to transition from a novice pilot. She lacks power but she floats like a feather. No flying in winds over 5 mph though. I had to paint this one red because I have 3 more! Love this little girl.

She Flys anywhere!!.

Love this little plane. Practically flies itself. The only problem was I didn’t understand the transmitter requirement for the BNF. I saw that all it needed was a “4 Channel Radio – Select a minimum 4 channel radio from our Radio Collection “, I had a six channel, so I bought the plane.

Turns out it needed a “DSM2/X” transmitter. Very important information. So, I had to buy another transmitter or return it for a RTF. I decided to get another transmitter because I wanted one better than the RTF supplied version.

The plane, although small and seems fragile, has been a fantastic plane. I flew in high winds the first time because I was determined to fly. With SAFE enabled, it handled the wind pretty easily and so far, in about 20+ flights, the only crash has been me flying it through (into) a soccer goal on a windy day.

Mistake. Made it five times, but the sixth time was my undoing. Crushed the nose in, but nothing a little glue couldn’t fix.

My only real complaint is that the spar pins were relatively difficult to get in, but it’s small enough that I don’t anticipate having to disassemble it. As far as flight goes, I elected to install the FrSky S6R receiver, and it was on rails with gains at 35% on all surfaces and the gains channel at 50%.

A little more and it starts to get a little wobbly. I tested with both 3 cell and 4 cell batteries, it seems to prefer the 4 cell for immediate power, and the 4 cell seems to provide a longer flight time, but flies well with 3 cell.

You will get significant P-factor during takeoff, despite the weight this is a really big motor for the size of the plane, so be on the ball, don’t just slam the throttle. Other than that, most of my experience is with aerobatic planes, so it flew pretty much how I’d expect, people used to trainers or GA style planes might find it’s landing profile a little aggressive, but it will stop shortly after touchdown with a doughnut if you ask it to.

Seemed pretty stable on the ground, no sign of trying to dip the wing, so the wheel base is wide enough. Fun fact, it weighs as much as the much larger Dynam SU-26, but overall I’m much more satisfied with the quality and flight dynamics.

Just like most E-Flite planes, once it’s assembled, it’ll fly well. *.

Mid size Biplane from E-Flite. Has stabilization, and select-able beginner-intermediate-experienced flight envelopes. well made and easy to assemble. the one I bought only needed a flight battery and my controler to fly.

can use 3s or 4s battery with IC (EC) 3 connecter.

Pretty sturdy looking model, especially the landing gear. Should never have an issue with them!. Assembly of the wings and struts is a different story. this model uses the pin-thru-matching -holes technique to secure the wings to the cabane and interplane struts.

It was nearly impossible to get the holes in the struts to align with the holes in the wing tabs out of the box. Dremel tool modifications were required in 3 of the 4 interplane connections to get the 2 sets of holes lined up.

Same thing with the cabane struts atop the fuse. This is definitely not a “drop-in” assembly and requires some unique solutions to an imperfectly designed kit. A little more QA by the manufacturer would have made a tremendous difference during assembly.

Unfortunately, weather has delayed its maiden flight to date. *.

The engine is just the forward face. Two canopies are included in the kit, one with parts for an open canopy and the other a closed canopy.

High quality scale model for a reasonable price. Great detail, and options for the serious modeler

I have seen this model when finished and it looked great. This I’m adding to my collection to be done later.

The model was purchased as a test against much higher priced pieces. I was looking to build what I call 1’ scale, which is where most people will view the model from. For that reason, interior detail, etc.

, was not important to me. The finished model looks great and only took me a a day to complete. 5 Stars for my purpose but if you’re looking for detail beyond, then 3 Stars.

This model has good casting the parts fit well together. This is important when building a nice looking model of any type. The body parts look realistic to what one is building. I like building air planes.

My father was a piolet in WW2. He flew a P40. So I like air planes of all types.

We bought this for my son who loves aircrafts, war, history. He was so excited to open it. When he did, he didn’t know how to assemble the pieces. He watched a youtube video and realized it was not a simple project.

It needed a number of paints and a special glue. Sadly, until now, he hasn’t started it yet.

Great product and fun to assemble. Child got to learn a bit about flight as we looked up and showed him how the plane flies. The 3 in 1 legos are great and allow various outcomes from the same kit.

My son just loves it. He builds and take it apart over and over. Each time building different airplane. Hours of fun. We just adore Lego products since he was a baby and played with Duoplo.

arrived super fast…… great that you can build more than one thing with it. Surprised how fast it arrived. Great shape.

My 11 year old had to build a model plane in a short time for his aviation class. He was happy he could do it on his own. This was a good choice. Parts fit together well. No glue or screws.

Nice kit but there’s a lot of excess molding flash that needs to be trimmed for proper fit. Needs a lot of trial fitting to get it together correctly – sure brings back memories! Kit is titled DC-3 but the actual aircraft is a C-47 (military version of the DC-3).

“I bought the 64mm A-10 just before Motion RC’s price increase. Was actually deciding between the A-10 and Mig 21. First I like doing business with Motion RC and their Customer Service is great. Chose the A-10.

Now I will admit , at this time, our club runway is just short of 200 ft. (has a thick petro mat covering). The plane assembles easy and straight forward. ( I missed the part that it did not come with working flaps).

It looks good. Now the bad part. Maiden flight did not go well. at full throttle i could only get it to raise a few inches off ground. ran out of runway so set it back down. It knocked the nose cone off and partly pulled out the nose gear.

Actually minor damage. On take off roll to me it was obvious that it was under powered. Freewing missed the mark there, it needs 6s. Also it needs flaps so I will be installing the flaps on the plane.

the nose gear area could use a little reinforcing. It took very little force to knock it lose. I am disappointed that there is not struct upgrade. Working structs would improve ground handling and take out some of the impacts of landing off the wire gear.

At this point I believe the Eflite version of this plane is better. I know it does cost more. So solution is to offer upgrades so the customer can improve this plane if they want to. The only exception is the power.

It needs to use a 6s power system. For a small plane it is a little on the heavy side. I should have aborted the take off earlier it was obvious it ws not developing need spend for lift off. Will spend this winter making the repairs and adding the flaps and by then out club will have added another 150 ft to the runway.

So will give it another try. Side note a fellow club member after seeing the poor performance of the Freewing A-10 is opting for the Eflite version.

This is not my first A-10 64 mm. I had issues with the previous ones, but this one was all good. It forces you land well, otherwise it will jump after touching down the runway. I would recommend. The space for LiPo and receiver is tight.

I do not use the recommended 3,600 mAh LiPo, because it is too tall if you want to mount receiver underneath the top of fuselage (below the canopy magnet). I use 4,000 mAh since it less tall and only slightly heavier.

This is an update to my March 2018 review. I had this plane for a long time and put many flights on it. Only constant repair issues were the nose gear. However I just lost this model. Seems that the adapter (EC3 to Dean’s) I was using carried too much current and actually de-soldered itself in flight.

Plane was on final to land with flaps and gear down. Suddenly, the engine quits and she slowly nosed down and impacted at about 30 degrees. Total fuse/wing loss. This model comes with deans connectors so use Deans or the XT60 with red Dean’s adapter.

Lesson learned. I just ordered a new one b/c I can’t imagine my hanger w/o one of these beauties.

The fit and finish is superb, and the layout is very nice. Documentation on the electrical system is non-existent, but all you really need to know is that the servos rail plugs are motor, servo (aileron), and LED.

The styrofoam used is the high density variety, which should survive crashes very well. That combined with the availability of spare parts make this a great beginners plane, or a basher for flying in tight spaces.

The whole thing fits in a box for travel and I love how the wings snap on. My only complaint is the weight. My PNP model (white) weighed in at 274 grams before electronics. My penchant for heavy electronics adds another 108 grams.

That leaves 118 grams for a 3S battery, for about 15 minutes of flight time. I might need two of these things.

My first big Armattan… guess I fell for the hype bc this is not worth $110 from my perspective. It came nice hardware & great battery straps… but nothing worth the premium over next-gen designs. 4mm arms are too thin for a thicc 7” frame like this though.

I initially built with FPVcycle 30mm motors, which are 50g ea & it was a floppy mess in the air- 40-80hz vibrations in BB logs & even somewhat visible to the naked-eye. Moved the same running gear to frame with 6mm arms and it flies perfectly.

I’ve yet to go back to the Armattan & build with lighter motors but I suspect it could be setup to fly nice- just didn’t work for the parts I wanted to install.

This is one of the best wings ! It just flies beautifully and the construction of this wing is very good. It’s a great design with plenty of room and power. I highly recommend this wing, it’s an all around capable and beautiful model very well done.

FINALLY. the wind stopped blowing 30 mph! Up at sunrise to maiden with calm winds. Got in the maiden + 19 more before Easter activities. A huge congratulations to the Freewing design team, flight testers, and Alpha.

A dream come true. Y’all did an awesome job bringing this bird to market. Beautiful kit and design well thought out – the finish is BEAUTIFUL Can’t get any easier to get ready (albeit some fiddling with the rudder setup is needed) The initial gyro setup is OUTSTANDING to help ensure a first flight success.

The Wright brothers would not have believed it! First – The setup ============ Admiral Pro 6000 mounted with the rear end flush with the trailing edge of the battery tray Elevators 8 mm up and Ailerons 4 mm up Rudder a bit more than spec.

but as close as I could get it. about 47 mm open Fingertip CG slightly nose heavy, but not much, when lifted on the marks No dual rate. it messes with the rudder set-up when changing rates (at least it did for me) I needed 4 clicks of up trim and a couple of rudder clicks on the maiden to get her dialed in.

Second – First impressions – For what it’s worth ==================================== 100% overcast sky at 2000 AGL, no issues with the visual orientation. will need to see how she looks on a bright sunny day Control “feel” and response is VERY good and VERY tame She glides for what seems like forever with zero throttle The B-2 dissipates energy upon touchdown faster than any EDF I fly.

Short runways should not be an issue for this bird. Some have discussed the possibility of adding crow or a way to throw fully open the clamshell rudders after touchdown. IMHO. not needed at all. The post-touchdown rollout is SHORT.

Plenty of power for take-off (hard surface tried only). Ease in the throttle, wait a couple of seconds, apply a touch of up elevator , and YOUR OFF (and keep holding the up elevator until she gains speed or your nose will drop) I flew at 50% throttle for 4:40 then reduced to about 25% on downwind further reducing to maybe 15% on final until over the threshold.

Once over the threshold, reduced the throttle to zero, and she glides into ground effect so nicely while you are adding up elevator (as needed) to hold attitude. With this flight profile, She “sipped” consistently about 3000 mAh.

Timer was set for 5 min. No doubt, longer flight times are possible because she flies at 30% throttle just fine Gear down and 50% throttle requires holding up elevator in the pattern (due to my CG location no doubt).

Will add some gear+elevator mix to correct. Once in ground effect, it is possible to absolutely nail it. As an example, one landing I was able to hold her steady while rolling only on the lower mains while the upper mains stayed in the air for SEVERAL feet.

Solid control, for sure I tried a few SLOW AS POSSIBLE landings from ground effect. She’s like a full scale Cub. You can keep adding more up elevator to keep the wheels off the ground a few inches for like FOREVER.

Touching down with full back stick out of ground effect is very doable. What a Hoot! Trim change from 1/2 to full throttle was minor, if at all. She’s FAST! Gliding requires some up elevator at zero throttle After several flights, the wind began to blow about 8 to 10 mph.

Not an issue. She continued to do great! As the turbulence began to increase, it was possible to see the control surfaces working rapidly to keep her on an even keel. This translates into a very slight wiggling of the overall aircraft, but you must look closely to even see it.

I did a 1/2 roll off the top of a loop. absolutely a non-event. She has plenty of roll authority. I DID NOT use the rudder in flight at all. I only used the rudder on take-off and landing roll-out. Her turns are perfectly coordinated w/o the need for additional rudder.

Take this from a full scale sailplane pilot that uses yaw strings and who works hard to prevent adverse yaw from causing side slipping. From a ground perspective, you can leave your “feet on the floor”.

no need for rudder. I saw no adverse yaw (from my vantage point). very nicely coordinated thanks to the control box set ups. No issues with at-speed ground handling…tricycle gear geometry is spot on! Summary ======= If you haven’t done your maiden, do not be nervous.

I have been a customer to Motion RC for about 3 years. I have purchased atleast 8 brand new aircraft from Motion and owned several more. Up until now I swore by their quality and customer service. However I lost all hope to the point that if I can avoid buying direct from motion I will do so.

I purchased the B2 Spirit the same week it came out. I got it home, set it up by the book. Did all my checks and everything was good (so I thought) we’ll the B2 crashed down within 20 seconds after leaving the ground.

When I recovered the plane and looked into reasoning I found rudder wire was plugged in backwards in the gyro. I sent pictures to motion they and they admitted clear evidence of manufacturer error. As did the manufacturer when they saw the picture.

So I thought great they will replace the plane like Horizon Hobby had done for people including myself in the past. WRONG! They gave me 15% of the cost of the plane in the form of a gift card. I feel like when you spend what to me is a lot of money and you do it on a regular basis you should side with your customer once in a blue moon when there are any issues.

They told me take the 15% or don’t. They don’t have another offer. I even asked for a plane that cost 1/3 of the price and they said no. Needless to say that’s bad business and shows me at the end of the day they don’t care about any of that.

But I won’t buy another one. I will admit there was some pilot error involved as I did not check rudder during my preflight checks however, if I buy a new set of tire I assume when I leave the shop they all have air in them.

I should have to inspect every wire. So if you do get one check everything 3 times over. Because a double check wasn’t good enough for mine. I think freewing is top notch quality and it was a mistake but they did me wrong and it’s unacceptable.

This plane is a show stopper at the field. When I fly it everyone stops what they’re doing to watch, because it looks exactly like the full scale A-10 in the air. Also, upgraded the stock landing gear, but on grass the front gear must be modified so it doesn’t hit the landing gear cover doors.

With that being said, you must have the CG exactly where the manual states or you won’t be able to get off the ground on a grass field. With two 6S 5000mAh batteries in parallel, I had to relocate the power distribution panel to the back side of the aircraft so I could move both batteries back more than 3 inches back to achieve the CG; now it flies like it’s on rails.

Also, I used ‘Minwax Polyethylene Clear Satin’ for 3 coats to protect the finish and paint and that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made when it comes to preserving foamy airplane paint. As everyone knows, hanger rash with foamy planes is one of the biggest battles we fight and the Minwax almost totally eliminates that problem.

Next I will be testing two 6S 6200mAh batteries to see if I can reach 4 minuets of fast and slow flight times.

This Model is a Gem!! She’s very beautiful and Super Scale as advertised. She’s a bit heavy compared to my other planes but I don’t mind that. I wish she came 90mm off the factory instead of having to upgrade myself which I plan to do in the future.

Also wished she came with thrust reverse but I can do that if I change the ESC to Avion I suppose. The build was simple, loved the servo pull through stick they provided. Only gripe I had was the decals! For the money this plane cost, it should come with them already attached.

I flew in the morning and the grass was damp and I lost some of the decals.
