For mid level pilots, very fast and a awesome jet to fly!

The balsa sheet parts poorly printed and cut in comparison to laser cut parts. Care required to remove and prepare the components. Balsa tends to split quite easily requiring rectification. Still a good kit and a satisfying build.

Arrived quickly and packed well. This is a large balsa aircraft kit and will take me a few weeks to complete this project. The kit itself, is as always from Guillow’s, a 1st class item. I haven’t yet started the build, but checked the contents and all looks fine.

Guillow’s models, are usually made from 1st class balsa, some other manufactures use a lower grade balsa and this does lead to complications during the construction. The tissue, which is extremely important, is also 1st class and if applied correctly, gives a great “smooth” finish to the model.

I have built many Guillow’s kits and these large scale models look beautiful when completed. I never fly the finished kit so I offer them for sale and this finances my next build. Excellent value and gives many, many hours of pleasure to the “amateur” builder (like me).

This is probably one of the best balsa and tissue kits I have ever built. I went a little further than the moving control surfaces and installed small electric motors in the nacells, fitted led landing and navigation lights.

The wires for which I fed through the undercarriage mouldings. All in all a very good kit with excellent instructions.

I have been making models since I was about 8, and now 40 something years later, still enjoying it. I’ve seen them all, the good, the bad and the downright ugly. This is the best model I have ever made – period.

The design team at Tamiya should be rightly proud of this offering. The shape is spot on and the parts fit was absolutely without parallel. I assembled it over about three weeks and enjoyed it so much, I bought another do the Bounty Hunters scheme.

Even now as I look at it, I cannot see a single seam in it anywhere and the recessed panel lines are correct and deftly done, even down to the rivets on the wing seats. Buy one, you will not be disappointed, and the other manufacturers need to look out, some of them have a long road ahead if they want to produce something at this level.

Haven’t built model planes since my teens, but year of Top Gun 2 why not build a first class Tomcat. Tamiya never fails to be one of the best since the 70s when I bought my first kits after basic and small simple Airfix kits, with Covid-19 I thought I’d treat myself doing something relaxing and positive in the evenings.

It looks like it is going to be a fun build and paint.

I teach a high school Aeronautics STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) class, using the Flite Test STEM curriculum. Ive been using the PowerUp units since the early days of the 2. 0, but this 4.

0 is by far their best product! For my STEAM class, the students often go from chuck gliders (foam airplanes that you throw back and forth) to large RC aircrafts. The problem has often been taking the large leap in between chuck glider to RC aircraft, there needed to be something intermediate.

This PowerUp 4. 0 has been the perfect device to fulfill that need within my classroom. Students can now make a chuck glider, then make their chuck glider into a small RC aircraft by adding the PowerUp 4.

0. This allows them to see the flight characteristics, make the necessary modifications, and once everything works accordingly, then they build the full scale RC aircrafts. These PowerUp 4. 0 not only work great with paper airplanes, but also small balsa wood and foam gliders.

The biggest issues Ive had with these PowerUp 4. 0s is that my students argue over who gets to use it next and they spend too much time flying their PowerUp 4. 0 creations rather than moving onto their full scale RC aircrafts.

These PowerUp 4. 0s are a blast!My son (8 years old) has taken an interest in making various paper airplanes. Hes always wanting to attach the PowerUp 4. 0 to make it RC. Hes become quite good. He does need some assistance with his paper airplane folding and properly tuning the paper airplane, but hes quickly learning how to do those by himself.

A few words of advice from someone who has watched a lot of kids put this PowerUp 4. 0 through various trials:#1. Get the PowerUp Paper airplane book. It has some great paper airplane designs for various skill levels.

Plus, it has easy to follow information of how airplanes work and things to do to improve upon your flight performance. #2. Get the expansion pack. This will allow you to fly things, other than paper airplanes, such as those inexpensive balsa wood gliders and small foam gliders.

This will greatly diversify what you can potentially fly. I even had a student make an airplane using the cardboard from a cereal box. #3. Get the spare parts. Because you are going to crash and break a prop.

Overall, these PowerUps are pretty durable. Theyve hit gym walls over 20 feet up and hit the ground pretty hard. Im not saying these are indestructible, but they are durable. Keep the foam piece on the front of the powerpod.

If you are designing your own aircraft, placing the powerpod behind the frame of the aircraft can also add an additional layer of protection. Plus, propellers are going to break, especially if you fly indoors.

I strongly recommend flying outdoors, where the grass is much more forgiving on the propellers. If you do fly indoors, Ive had my students incorporate something in their designs to protect the propellers (typically a vertical stabilizer that prevents the propellers from touching the ground.

#4. Fly in an open area with calm winds. Gymnasiums would work, but the hard floors (and walls) are harder on the PowerUps, especially their propellers. Something about the size of a tennis court (or soccer/football field) is ideal.

These also need to fly in near calm winds, so early morning or late afternoon are most ideal. #4. Try making gliders out of foam. DollarTree foamboard works well, but you cannot go too big. Removing the paper from the foamboard helps to greatly reduce the overall weight.

Also, cutting up foam plates work well. A good source of large and thin foam sheets is to get some scratch foam, found at craft stores or Amazon. The Melissa and Doug brand of scratch foam has large thin flat sheets of scratch foam available on Amazon.

#5. Get two PowerUp 4. 0because they are fun! Sharing with someone and watching them fly isnt nearly as fun as flying along side of them (and challenging each other). As both a science teacher and as a father, I highly recommend the PowerUp 4.

0. If you dont have a child to give this to, then buy it for your inner childtheyll thank you for it. Something else to consider, these make great gifts/stocking stuffers!.

This is the most amazing little device! With a little creativity, some paper/tape, a PowerUp 4. 0 module, and a USB powerbank, you can have an entire afternoon of flight, a chance to teach or explore aerodynamics, or all three!First of all, the PowerUp 4.

0 is extremely sturdy, the build quality is fantastic. My only structural concern is the bluetooth antenna, which is a thin wire protruding from a hard plastic protector. In an upside-down/flip crash it could shear off the bulk of the antenna, which would likely require replacement to properly connect again.

Other than that, it’s got a foam nose cushion to protect against direct impacts, and extra propellers in case you lose one. I’ve flown a variety of models built from anything from balsa wood, to foam, cardstock, paper, and even parchiment paper (that one doesn’t work so well, tape won’t stick to it).

The PowerUp module tries valliantly to stablize whatever it’s attached to. (This gets me thinking: I wonder if anyone has tried flying models built from aluminum foil?)NOTE: for your first few flights try to have a grass field large enough; if you try to fly it around your neighborhood without experience, you may or may not end up stuck up under your neighbor’s solar panels! (True story, I did.

No damage. He was gracious. )As far as range is concerned, I always fly keenly aware of the fact that the connection is over BTLE, but I’ve never had it go out of range for me. I’ve probably reached a max of 200 ft altitude, but make sure your model is pointed in a “safe” direction just in case, because if it disconnects, I suspect it’ll just cut power and glide.

Each model you build/fly can have dramatically different flight characteristics. I’ve flown the balsa model in 10-12 mph winds, but for most paper planes you pretty much need still air, if you can find it.

Try flying mornings and evenings unless you have a fast model and experience. If it’s gusty, probably best to stay land-bound. PowerUp Toys has built positive relationships throughout the enthusiast community, and has worked tirelessly to bring the PowerUp 4.

0 to market in a trying year. I’ve watched them every step of the way, and they deserve to be proud: the PoweUp 4. 0 module is an amazing product at an amazing price. Update (Dec 1, 2020) Shortly after writing this review someone gave me a second PowerUp! Trust me, it’s totally worth it to get a second! The batteries last about 15 minutes, so together I can get about a half-hour of continuous flight time.

That’s about as much flying time as I can spare with small kids at home. But I think if you brought along a little battery-powered USB charger and charged the first while flying the second, you’d have just about enough time to eat a granola bar before the first was recharged again and ready to fly.

I think doing that you could probably get a pretty full afternoon of flying! I’ll see if I can try it over the holidays and report my results here. I also highly recommend finding a nearby field. The field does not have to be particularly large (these are tiny planes, after all) but it makes a HUGE difference to be able to fly around without worrying about colisions or getting it stuck/lost.

I’ve completely stopped flying around my neighborhood: too many houses and trees. Oh, and I’ve also been flying in some gusty/windy conditions, and the PowerUp really does a great job keeping control of whatever it’s attached to! The POWERUP 4. 0 is so much fun, I just had to buy one here for my brother-in-law. If your familiar with earlier POWERUP models, this one is the next level! Not only can POWERUP 4. 0 fly paper airplanes, but it can also easily fly cardboard, foam, and balsa wood airplanes as well.

Literally, almost anything will work cereal boxes, egg cartons, milk jugs, junk mail (card stock), etc. Paper is cheap, foam board can be found at your dollar store, and with just a couple sheets of balsa you can make at least 3 airplanes.

This is the second Os 46 AX II engine that I have purchased this year. Both engines have performed flawlessly. Highly recommended.

There are engines that are better, longer lasting, but, none tune better. OS claim to fame, is the carb. Get one before they’re all gone.

Great product, except the stickers on the side could easily be peeled off but that is easy to get over. Bottom line, I got it for a good price and I recommend purchasing.

It’s a near perfect plane, especially on 4s liposuction. This buy came with a 3s 2200mah lipo which is a nice bonus compared to other sites, although I probably wont fly with it since I had 4s from other builds.

Its fast enough, flys true, nice scale acrobatics and it’s a complete joy to fly anywhere (and I mean anywhere, take off and land from my back yard). If you want an STOL with some 3D and speed, get a Timber.

If you want scale flights, a total windbreaker of a plane and beautiful looks, then the Maule M7 is for you.

Tail assembly, receiver, motor, esc and servos. Fuselage and wing were absolute trash. Still after buying a new fuselage, wing and battery hatch I have a Maule for less the price of the original.

Certainly the best model aeroplane that I have in my stable. Easy to fly and yet performs all the manoeuvres anyone could want. Large wheels make it dream on the ground. Looks exceptional in the air.

Te Ranger T-1 is a lot of fun! It’s my first twin motor plane. Flying without FPV gear in the nose, makes balancing the plane a little more work, especially with smaller lipos. Running a 1000mah 3S pack, I was able to have fun on a really windy day! In 15-20+mph winds, I was able to penetrate and hold my position.

Even managed a Harrier style landing. GetFPV has been great on delivery for all my orders.

Extremely well designed and precision foam build. Easy CG with 3s2200. 10 minute sporty flights. Agile, quick and fun to fly. Small plane so will get tossed a bit by wind but can get 80mph level flight.

Differential thrust in Inav has less effect than I’d like but noticeable. Already bought a second to try a different fpv setup.

Hee wing makes excellent kits. This one actually has a manual too. They use injection molded parts all fit together perfect. Really nice.

The description of this product quite clearly states it is 1/72 scale. But it is in fact much smaller than that. Very disappointing.

As we head towards Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day it is important to remember the few who so bravely fought off an invading airforce while seated in the brilliantly engineered Spitfire.

Hard to review as this is child’s toy, but so much better and more detailed than when I was young- a long time ago! With limits on space , I am using a number or these smaller models to fill gaps in my collection -they are excellent for this.

I don’t know what 5-star model these other reviews got, the pile of junk I received was made of brittle foam, had a wing profile that’s literally impossible, didn’t fly with ANY setup I tried (started off with what was recommended by manuf.

) I had it going at least 35mph and it STILL didn’t generate enough lift to not be nose up in ground effect. Absolute garbage, would NOT recommend. Also, not my first kit, not by a long shot. I’ve been flying RC for 20 years, this is easily the worst kit I’ve purchased.

com/watch?v=0rxn_Rh6N68 Mine weights 239g without a battery, and on 3S this is a nice, nimble, speedy flier. For $59 + the power pack this is a great deal and a fun plane. No problem putting it together and it took off easily at 3/4 throttle on the maiden flight.

Using a Spektrum AR410 receiver and a 1500mAh Venom 3S to start. CG was came out good. Throws are set in the middle for the 1st flights. I had good response (in the middle settings) and I am going to start increasing the throws.

Rolls were pretty fast, elevator a little less so, and there is no rudder. With the high wing and battery down low, it wants to self-correct coming out of rolls. Good climbing on 3S, but not unlimited.

I got a good 7-8 minutes on the 1500mAhr Venon. It floated in nicely for the landings. A blast to fly, easy to store and transport. Highly recommended.

I really love this kit. The plane itself has lots of potential to be a rocket. I did add extra sparing to the main wing and horizontal stabilizer. Laminated both wings and now I have very little flex in my wing.

Running a xing 2207 2750kv motor on 4s with a apc 5. 1×5 prop. I did add additional landing gear to this build that is removable depending where I am flying. I really like the handling characteristics of this kit.

The Airfix 1/72 Bristol Beaufort fills a big hole in the available RAF aircraft kits. The instructions are clearly labeled and blown up for ease in reading. I suggest you study the instructions before beginning to assist you.

The parts come in five large sprues labeled A-E with a separate sprue for the clear canopy and windows parts. The kit allows you to build either inflight or landing gear extended and with or without torpedo.

Markings are provided for two different Beauforts from two different squadrons with great color drawings of both. The parts fit very well with very few seams or filling required. A complete cockpit and crew interior is included, but the mid and back sections will be closed up upon completion.

The wings are attached with spars that run through the interior section and create a no seam gap when assembled to the fuselage. Overall the fit is excellent with all parts and components. The intricate landing gear included require careful assembly since they are made of seven individual parts, but fit together nicely.

The clear parts are well molded with no fogging. The rear gunner’s compartment, turret and clear canopy are well detailed as are the Lewis machine guns provide. The decals go on extremely well with very little setting fluid required.

All in all, a very enjoyable build to add to your World War II RAF aircraft collection.

Airfix have really raised the bar with this, beautifully engineered with some really nifty assembly features. Interior detail is excellent as is the detail in the wheel wells and bomb bay. The fit is virtually flawless with very tight tolerances.

I assembled the wings as complete units then simply slid them over the spars. no glue needed and the join between the wing and the fuselage is perfect. Clear parts are excellent but care is needed to make sure they fit perfectly, they do but dry fit first.

Only thing I’d ask airfix to do is to include a torpedo handling trolley. I highly recommend this kit, it’s a better.

I was very pleased with this kit. I have been curious about the Beaufort ever since I read a story, as a youngster, about a Beaufort crew who had to ditch their plane in the sea. I never knew what the plane looked like (no illustrations) but the name has stuck with me for decades.

Now, with Airfix’s kit, I can have a nice replica. The model itself is very nicely done with lots of detail for the scale. I may install an Eduard interior set when I get to the build. Sorry to get so wordy.

Bottom line: excellent kit, looking forward to building it.

With model kits like this it was no surprise when I heard Revell went bankrupt. Illogical part placement on runners. Luckily not too many runners (unlike some of the Revell of Germany kits, which are awful too) so you dont have to spend too much time searching for small detail parts, which are not numerically placed together.

Parts that dont fit well are intended to be supports in the fuselage causing a very ill fitting fuselage. Generally overall poorly engineered.

It a beautiful kit to build. I have used an aftermarket decal named Virgin Widow. It was originally painted by friend in the field of Tinian Island during WWII.

It’s an old kit. I had the same one back in the ’90s by a different company which I never finished. There will be a lot of scribing to be done of which I’m not too fond. Nevertheless, I thought I’d keep it on hand just for old times sake.

Despite the kit’s impressive presentation and packaging, its inaccuracies vary from disappointing to utterly atrocious. What’s really sad is that the kit had so much potential, and does have some great engineering and parts detail (canopy, wings, engines) Gun bay doors are all separate and the fit is very poor indeed, not to mention inaccurate.

Several other places have fit issues, such as the wing slats, nosecone, and fuselage. The inflatable wing bags are useless: mine came warped from the factory, and despite this, this is still the best out-of-the-box 1/32 F-14D on the market.

This kit has lots of detail and makes up into a very nice looking kit. Be prepared though it has some fit issues which require some work to deal with

I am 77 years old. I got my first Revell model in 1954. It was a lot cheaper at that time. I’m proud to say that the quality of the Models has stayed excellent and the detail is exact. Great bye.

The size of the model is 8 3/4 of a inch long, 10” wing span also has the shark mouth decal for the nose as a bonus. I havent opened it yet because its a christmas gift for my 8 year old i just thought i would give some helpfull info about the product that the discription didn’t cover seems nice!!.

The SKYRC IMAX is the real version not a knockoff and the difference is night & day. This LIPO charger has better electronics and has a built in cooling fan to protect them. Also, the instructions are very detailed about everything you can imagine.

It also balances cells better and best of all it does not overcharge LIPOs like most chargers do, which will damage them beyond repair. Super charger for the price.

This kit came with everything needed to fit my Traxxas Rustler, and installation was simple and straight forward. The bearings that came in the kit are rubber sealed and smooth, they seem well made so far.

All the steel parts in this kit are thick and seem as though they will have very good longevity. I noticed two things when installing this kit that could be slightly concerning. The first is a slight fitment issue with the hub’s.

The lower pin is rather tight and could cause some binding in the suspension travel. The second is with the retainer ring that helps hold the upper pin in. It has a small split in it that the pin can slip out of should the grub screw come loose.

Ive been using the b6 mini for a couple of years to power all kinds of projects. Its very versatile and even has enough power to bring a dead car battery to life. Discharging takes a long time but charging is fairly quick unless its a monster of a battery- its wattage rating and the rating of your power supply will determine how much of those 50-60 advertised watts will be flowing.

I like it enough to have bought a second one for simultaneous use.

I bought this to replace my classic optima bumpers. Shape, color, and material is very similar however the mounting point is a bit different to the classic ones. It is still possible to install by using the available 4 screw holes under the chassis, its just missing the one big bolt upfront.

A good quality kyosho product nonetheless.

Revell Ju-88D-1 1/72 Nice kit. Good shapes. Perfect decals. Reminds me a Airfix’s kit!

After close to 2,000 flights on Bird #1, it was time to retire Bird #1. She developed foam-cell boundary cracks in the top skin of the wings from the stress of many acrobatic maneuvers. Overall. very few items wore out (tires/wheels and a couple of retract servo gear replacements over time).

Considering the work-out Bird #1 received, I can give a vigorous thumbs up for the quality. None of the control servos ever failed or began to chatter, and one EDF fan motor’s bearing went bad after about 400 flights (MRC offered to replace.

but I declined and bought a replacement). The other original fan motor never had issues. Bird #1 is now a hangar queen for spare parts. Bird #2 arrived in perfect shape. She flies great! No trim adjustments needed other than 3 clicks of up trim.

I installed an additional carbon rod stringer in each wing’s internal wiring channel to stiffen the top skin area above the motor mounts where the Bird #1 wings developed stress cracks. Such a fun bird to fly!.

Well after being so jealous, since Day 1, having gone as far as watching manufacturer videos about it, while forcing my 7 YO daughter to watch with me, lol. I have my own, and it’s more then I ever thought it could be, jeez, it loonnnng.

I will say Freewing instructions, well, leave a lot to be desired, like saying make sure to do this, but never saying how. Really I thought, ok. But I just come here, to the YouTube unboxing vid, and AL37 community board with concerns, so it’s cool.

1 hour or less to assemble, no, ok if it were my 10th planes and didn’t care if half the screws were stripped or not down all way, safely triple it, then congratulate yourself if you are done, with every last little thing, down to fixing Center of Gravity, before then.

If you had to save to buy your plane, then slow and steady. Got the ***** one, I am done with assembly, wings back off for transport, ready to fly, but it’s 4am, and raining, so I wait. One test flight, then on to my body art work!!.

Thought you might be interested in reading about some of the REAL WORLD reliability aspects of an AL37 with lots of flights on it. I have flexible work hours, to some degree, so when the weather is nice (which is often is here), I am able to take advantage of it.

Here’s the scoop. – Pre-ordered and got the bird in late December 2019, and was up and flying within a few days – Averaging about 200 flights per month. This is not intended to be a brag, but to let you know that 1,200+ flights are on the bird – I am able to leave it assembled.

transport it in the bed of my pick-up. not connecting/disconnecting things every trip to the field Summary of failures follow. Pretty amazing performance, I’d say! – one engine bearing began screeching loudly after about 400 flights.

This must have been a fluke because the other engine has performed flawlessly since day one – two main gear servos have been replaced over 6 months and at least 2400 gear cycles – – Hint: Land gear up when one fails in the gear-up position.

I learned the hard way that attempting to land with the nose wheel and one main down is a disaster waiting to happen. – – – The nacelle on the gear-up side hooked into the turf and the turf tore it off.

Took some carbon fiber work to fix it, but I did fix it. rather than order a new nacelle. Suggest landing gear up on a hard surface. not turf. Shaves off some foam, but at least you won’t tear off a nacelle – Nose gear mounting box came loose and also the nose gear steering servo came loose (two different flights.

not on the same flight) Fixed both of these issues with epoxy – Winglet pin broke on one winglet. replaced the piece of plastic into which the hold-down pins are molded as part of – Replaced the nose wheel tires twice, but the rubber on the mains has held up nicely.

I fly off concrete exclusively except when I decided a grass turf landing might be best when the main didn’t extend. – I am about to change the main’s rubber, soon. That’s it. Again. pretty amazing reliability.

None of the control servo motors has began to chatter and no control servo failures have been experienced. The top of the wing foam has a few slight wrinkles/creases from the spins, loops, snap rolls and pull-ups to vertical climbs i do at times.

All around. a well designed aircraft and well worth the money!.

I have had a dozen flights now or close to it and very pleased with how it takes off, flies and lands. I’m flying off a fairly rough grass runway so decided I wanted to try it with both the main and nose gear upgrades installed.

It worked out great! The plane is easy to control on the ground and no bounces back into the air on landings. In fact, no bounces at all so far. I did stretch out the nose gear door spring and put heat shrink tubing over most of the spring with about a third of it shrunk at the door end.

This prevented the wheel on the upgraded nose gear from hitting the door when compressed but still allowed the door to tightly close when retracted. It doesn’t have as nice of a molding job as the eFlite 64mm A10 which even has rivets, etc.

molded in and just an overall better molding job so I deducted one star. The Freewing is a much better plane overall though. I’m definitely glad I bought it even though I do have the 64mm eFlite version.

The big Freewing definitely attracts attention at the field and multiple people have taken videos and pictures when I fly it. I would probably be considered an intermediate flier that just flies to have a good time.

BTW, the decals(wet slide on type) take most of the assembly time.

You would be wise to inspect all parts especially controls surfaces for dent, dings and warps as MotionRC’s return policy on those issues is not in your favor as the consumer. I have a damaged(creased and bent) elevator that was clearly done at the factory and their rep said it was acceptable and refused to send another one.

Only after I threatened to return ~$1600 worth of planes and future purchases did they provide a barely adequate solution. Don’t throw any packaging away and be prepared to send the whole box back at your expense because they will not accommodate you on pieces damaged from the factory.

Overall fit and finish is fine. Like i said, I had a factory damaged elevator stab and I also discovered a warped right aileron during assembly and testing. Foam is a little soft compared to other EPO models I have.

I have not flown it yet but I’m sure it flies as expected.

This is the best flying airplane in my 9 plane squadron. It flies even more consistently than my 8S F-22. I would say it’s great for a beginner, but the cost, size, scale tidbits, and 12S setup is a lot for a beginner to manage.

Amazing presence in the air. Great sound, especially with the aftermarket high and low pitch nerf whistles that I added. Best aircraft for grass only fields; it handles the bumps w/ ease. Tracks straight for tighter runways as well.

I also get 5min 30s flights with 7000MAH SMART packs and consistent 4 min 30s flights with 5000MAH packs. You must have this plane in your fleet of aircraft, if your a true model aviation enthusiast.

Bought this for our grandson. Thought it would be easy, and it was. However pieces didnt all fit together all that well. Wings to fuselage had to be forced. Engine cowls didnt not fit flush to wings.

Landing gear was also difficult to connect. Ive done models for over 60 years and this had issues Ive not had before.

This model was poorly designed from the start. The plastic parts fit together poorly. The propellers droop down once installed. No glue required, youll want to use it anyway to get the wheels to mount at all.

Sorry I bought it.

I was so happy to find this model at a decent price. I used to work for a cargo company that had DC-3s in the USVI, and I was looking for one for my friend’s grandson. They are really cool, old planes.

I saw this model on hit the market over a year ago but only was able to buy it for this Christmas as my family’s present. The model is huge and very complete with good quality components. You only need to provide your preferred brand of receiver, transmitter and a large 5000 mAh – 6S battery to power the 70mm opposite turning fans.

Have seen lots of modelers at the different online forums produce some very well done aircraft. Needless to say, the 737, after which the AL37 has been inspired is such a popular aircraft that there is a myriad of liveries which can be done.

You can order from Callie Graphics or venture yourself, like I’m doing now, and create or paint one of your own, provided that you can use any graphics software, decal paper and a color printer. You can also modify the model so that it can look closer to scale: Backdate to a 737-800NG with a different scratch built tail cone and modified winglets, reduce the length to do a MAX7, etc.

Have not flown it yet but do know that it needs careful handling especially in turns and during landings like most EDFs and jets: keep adequate speed during turns so that you won’t stall into the inner wing and bring the model using throttle for altitude and elevator for speed, with flaps.

While it looks light considering the large wing and empty fuselage volume, it requires previous EDF flying practice, especially during the critical phases. All in all, I am really happy with the model.

Now, being an Airbus fan, I sincerely hope Freewing will take advantage from the AL37 production and issue an AL32 that is another 70mm powered airliner based on the A320. Of course I will too buy that one if ever issued by Freewing!! Happy flying!.

Another Freewing home run. Love it. Getting about 5 minute flights on a 6000mah pack. The motors are run in parallel so the one battery pack runs both motors. I’m thinking about separating that and switching to separate packs for less of a load on the batteries.

Tons of space in the battery area. I used my own snake cable and wing connectors so I could use separate channels for everything. Ended up with 12 channels on a Jeti Rex 12 Assist. Seriously flies nice.

Very majestic in the air.

I am a first timer in regards to rc flying, but as a long time avgeek, I had to have this. I knew going in that I was getting in over my head experience wise, but you gotta learn sometime. The package deal rc motion provides made this a easy choice for the first timer.

It was easy to assemble and huge when done. Currently getting ready to paint her in Delta livery with graphics from Callie. Excited to venture into to rc world with this. I’m impressed with the detail (lights/ gear/flaps etc.

) A lot of experienced modelers have taken these to impressive heights already. Hoping to follow in their footsteps and learn along the way. If you are looking for a airliner- this is it!.
