20 Best Two Wheel Wheelbarrow (2022 Updated)

Assembly wasn’t difficult, all the holes lined up well enough for the bolts. The bolts, washers, and nuts are not galvanized so they’ll end up rusting. The dual wheel design does offer more stability than a single wheel but the axle design leaves a lot to be desired.

It sits somewhat lower than I’d like. The plastic “tub” was disappointing though. The plastic is quite thin so the wheelbarrow will need to be stored out of the elements when not in use or it will crack, as noted in other reviews.

If the manufacturer were to use a galvanized metal for the “tub” (if Walmart allowed it) then I’d Ifeel better about spending my $100 on this wheelbarrow. That to say it isn’t built to last but it would seem nothing is these days.

Wow, super fast shipping! I put it together by myself in my living room. With a little time and patience, it went together fairly easily. I haven’t used it yet, so I can’t rate it a 5-star. The price is better than any other store I had been looking at.

I love how light it is, so when loaded, it shouldn’t be too heavy to move around. I love BCP and all the products I’ve purchased from them. I will keep buying. Would purchase again.

I don’t write reviews often, but I have a feeling that most of the time we are only prompted to write reviews when we have a problem, so I thought I might even the scales a bit. I use this for mucking my horse corrals and it gets used HARD.

I carry very heavy, overflowing loads in it, sometimes several times a day almost everyday for almost 3 months now, and it’s help up perfectly. It has been so much easier to use than my previous old one wheel style barrow.

At first I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t a bit bigger, but because it’s so much easier to manage with a heavy load, it’s my go-to barrow for sure. I also have a little (TINY) neighbor girl who comes over and uses it everyday and it’s the perfect size for her – easy to manage and low to the ground.

Also because of it’s low center of gravity and 2 wheel style, it’s harder for my horses to “accidentally” tip it over if I walk away for a minute (they’re so helpful!). I recently took it to a Mustang Taming Competition and it was a great size for lifting into the truck or fitting into the trailer tack room.

This seems a silly thing, but I also love the padded handle, it’s made out of really nice material, it just makes it nicer to push with a heavy load. My experience using it has been a 5 star experience, but I knocked off 1 star because the holes were misaligned and my hubby had to drill new ones in order to assemble it – which wasn’t a big deal for him, but might be for some people.

I price shopped similar carts and felt this one was the best value for the money – I would definitely buy it again, even if I had to buy a new one every year, it would be worth it.

This is my first 2-wheel wheelbarrow. It is very nice and is much easier to use that the one wheel variety. If I had one issue the plastic tub is a bit more flimsy that the tub on the old wheelbarrow.

The old one is at least 15 years old and I guess things change. I have already used this new one to carry tools, plants, mulch, rocks and Grandkids. It works great and doesn’t tip easily. I would buy it again.

Good quality for the money, but not sure how long it will last. I didn’t want to pay hundreds for a home garden wheelbarrow, and I wanted to wheels for stability and ease of use. So this for those criteria well.

I would definitely but this again, but I’m hoping it lasts long enough that it will be a while before I need to do that. It’s not bad quality, in fact it’s pretty good, just not 5 star. I recommend it for anyone in my same position, but I wouldn’t suggest it for heavy duty used.

Easy to assemble. With 2 wheels it is more stable than regular wheelbarrows. So far its been great.

This was brand new box. NO MANUAL OR ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. it is wheels so it’s not such huge issue since I assembled many over the years. For the 1st time assembler (like my 15 year old son) it was discouraging.

A few nuts and 1 bolt missing in the original sealed bag. Wood wedge spacer, holes didn’t line up, had to make a small work around. Once was put together, it’s a real nice wheelbarrow, easy ro move and stable.

So difficult to put together you’ll wish you would have never ordered 1000x over. So I’m biased because I hate assembling things. Last year I bought a new house and have had endless assembly projects.

I have assembled hundreds of furniture, garden, equipment etc over the years despite hating the chore bc who else will do it. This is by far the worst. I bought this several months ago and didn’t bother to read reviews because really it’s a wheelbarrow and how hard could it be.

Well. I opened it found way more pieces than in my mind should be and put it to the side. Fast forward several months ready to take on this project. Get all the pieces together go through all assembly ok.

It uses cotter pins which I have to YouTube because why would it use cotter pins but regardless get all those steps done. I’m ready to place the last bolt and the flipping holes don’t align. I figure it’s me.

I recheck all my steps and work. Everything is right. The bolt is supposed to go through the plastic bin, a plastic shim and then both sides of the handle. Bolt won’t go through the second handle hole.

After an aggravating number of attempts I realize the holes don’t line up. Well I put to together and obscene amount of furniture and had my drill out to add legs to a piece I had. So I had to drill a new hole right next to the existing one.

Not just make it slightly bigger but add a whole new hole. In summary a lack of attention to detail in manufacturing this piece lead to horrible experience assembling this item but really a flawed design because there’s no reason for it to have been this difficult.

Spend $10, $20, $100 more and save yourself the time and aggravation.

While putting this wheelbarrow together I had a lot of trouble getting one of the holes in the bucket to line up with hole on the handle. I ended up having to drill the existing hole out a little larger to get it put together.

Also, the pins that hold the wheel in place kept falling out. yes, I know you’re supposed to split the pin to hold it in place (similar to using a bobby pin in your hair) but they still fell out. I used a thicker gauge wire I had laying around and stuck it through one pin hole and twisted it like a bread tie.

After my MacGyvering it works like a champ. Love the fact that it has two wheels instead of one, also love that it has a joined handle, makes it easier in instances where you need to pull rather than push.

I’ve used it to haul 3-4 bags of pea gravel, roughly 40 lbs each, fairly easily over tree stumps and through ankle deep wet mud. Just a note to those who may not have used a wheelbarrow before, load your heavier stuff towards the handles, not the front, it will tip and dump the contents when going over rough ground (any wheelbarrow will).

The hardware kit that this wheelbarrow comes with looks and performs like it has been salvaged off a hundred year-old shipwreck. It’s rusted, corroded, and does not work. The nuts do not work with the carriage bolts because they are both so rusted.

I realized during the final step that the top holes in the bucket were drilled 1/8″ too far apart, making it impossible to attach the shims and handle. By this point, I was invested to the tune of one trip to the hardware store and money for decent bolts and nuts, so instead of sending this heap of regret and extremely imprecise manufacturing tolerances back, I drilled out one of the hole.

Worst product I can ever remember buying.

Our church purchased 24 of these m p deals for a special Good Friday service. We used the wheelbarrow to haul multiple trips filled with 300 pounds load of bricks. The wheelbarrow maneuvers easily is light and did not scratch, deform or dent from the bricks and rough handling.

Air pressure can be added or lowered as needed to accommodate load capacity. Dual capacity useful for yard or diy projects. So blessed to snag one of these after church finished using.

Yes, I bought this because I love pink but the day after it was put together I put this thing to work. I had several bags of garden supplies in the back of my van and this wheel barrow made light of the work.

I have rather bad knees and the double wheel made this an easier task than if I had to balance on one wheel. I’m very pleased how sturdy this wheel barrow is and it’s going to be a welcome tool for my small garden.

Easy to put together. Some pushing needed to line up the tray to the handle to bolt it on after bolting on the lower frame, but nothing 1 person can’t do on their own. Assembly was quick, maybe 20 minutes of making sure the instructions were followed and actually assembling it.

Only needed a screwdriver and a wrench to hold the bolts. Haven’t USED it yet, but it feels like a good budget item and I only need it for light use any way. If you’re looking for heavy duty use, maybe try something with a metal tray.

For me thought it is perfect. Wish it wasn’t pink, but that is just personal preference.

I love this heavy duty frame. AND, the bowl of the wheelbarrow is a heavy duty plastic, which makes it lighter to push around the yard. I absolutely adore the pink because no one else will use it! LOL! Sturdy construction and the spacing of the wheels are the standard for most wheelbarrows.

Good construction, easy assembly, and a great help to any Gardner. I highly recommend this product. I may purchase another one for a raffle at our local Moose Lodge for Breast Cancer Charities.

A wheelbarrow should not start falling apart within days. The metal cross bar that keeps it stable bent with a fairly light load (I’m almost 70 and do not overload a wheelbarrow – my last one lasted 20 years).

I have spent the last 18 months babying it and trying to adjust for its weakness. Now the tire is leaking through a seam in the steel wheel, so I will have to replace the entire wheel or junk the entire wheelbarrow.

Rather surprised that a generally reputable company like Ace would sell such a low quality item.

This wheelbarrow doesn’t hold up to much more than beauty bark, plastic cracks doing most tasks you can ask for a wheelbarrow to do ie; firewood and rocky soil. I won’t even bother with concrete in it.

Under a good load it wobbles and flexes hard, the legs twist and it falls over when loading it. Being a contractor and using good wheelbarrows, there is a difference. I’ll run it at the house till it craps out.

but not buying it again!.

I bought this in a hurry, it was the only option available when I made the purchase. Every tire needed air when I bought it (which didn’t seem like a big deal because we have an air compressor at home), but two of them were completely flat.

I still needed this item, so I went ahead and made the purchase. I filled up the tires at home only for two of them to be completely flat a couple hours later. My husband filled up the tires a couple weeks later (the next time we needed to use it) , we weren’t in such a hurry this time, and he noticed that the tires are leaking around the tire stems.

He couldn’t even wheel this to the end of our property before the tires were flat again. This item is getting returned ASAP. Aside from the leaky tires, the depth of the wheelbarrow makes it awkward to shovel dirt & mulch out of it.

I’m 5’5″ and it’s not easy on my back to have to shovel things out of it. If I were much taller, or if I were just dumping full loads onto things, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad, but as it stands, we are not happy with this purchase.

I love this wheelbarrow! It is perfect for the ranch. I use it to carry large loads of everything. Best of all, I don’t have to balance it like a traditional wheelbarrow. I needed/wanted something big and this exceeded my expectations.

Highly recommended. Only negative thing are the tubed tires. They will probably not last long, but I plan on upgrading them to nicer heavy duty tires.

Pretty good wheelbarrow, but it should have solid tires. Under normal use, everyday on a small farm, the tires disintegrated after only 12 months. I could see lots of cracks in the rubber all over the tires.

The tire beads were cracked badly as well. One front tire developed a week spot which exploded after I aired it to 30lbs. I bought solid, non-pneumatic tires to replace the two fronts. Will need to buy solid wheels for the rear before long.

Other than cheap tires, it’s a pretty good wheelbarrow. Be ready to spend another Ben on better wheels.

This is a very good wheelbarrow is you are using it on reasonably smooth ground with good room to operate. Be advised – with two from wheels it is hard to operate in tight worksites and wider, two wheel set if often bumping into things and difficult to swing hard left or right in tight spaces.

Again good wheelbarrow but somewhat frustrating to use in tight working areas. I’ve moved 8 yards of class 5 road gravel and 2 yards of 1. 5″ wash and 2 yards of clay with it. It will stand up to hard use.

Oh. I thought this had the hard (airless) wheel like the single wheeled version so was a little disappointed that is had pneumatic tires but that was probably me not reading the product specs closely enough on the web site.

I recently purchased the Worx wheelbarrow and I absolutely love it. I had to move a few large boulders that would have surely given me a hernia trying to pick up alone. I attached the boulder attachment and rolled the first boulder onto the webbing.

I pulled back on the handles and with a bit of maneuvering I had the boulder moved in no time. I then loaded several larger rocks and broken boulder pieces. As soon as I lifted the handles to wheel forward, I immediately noticed how the weight was easily balanced even with a fairly heavy load.

I will add, the overall volume seems smaller than other wheelbarrows I’ve used in the past. However, given the weight distribution, I feel I could do twice as many loads in a shorter amount of time compared to one large load with a conventional wheelbarrow.

I’m also going to be moving a bunch of sod and landscaping bark in the next couple weeks. For the first time I feel excited to work on my yard projects simply because of this new tool! Can’t wait to continue to be impressed with how useful this thing is!!.

To all those that wrote honest reviews in regards to how this thing actually performs thank you. I wish I had not read through all the positive reviews and believed all the hype around this thing and the video marketing filmed on level flat concert.

This is not a wheelbarrow and does not perform at all like a wheelbarrow. This is a very poor design of an over engineered solution to a simple problem. If you are actually interested in a wheelbarrow for yard work buy a wheelbarrow and not this.

You will not regret a real wheel barrow. If you’re interested in a light weight capacity dolly then this can work for you, however it only can manage 300 pounds and takes up more space than standard dolly.

A real dolly can support over 800 pounds so this is again a terrible solution to a simple problem. Buy yourself a dolly. After putting this thing together I threw about 200 pounds of gravel in it and tried to wheelbarrow from the back of my property to the front which is 100 ft.

Because of where the wheels are placed, yes it makes it easier to lift initially, but actually pushing it is a whole other story. The yard is relatively flat with just some small ruts in it. A traditional flat free tire wheelbarrow will just glide right over this.

This thing hit every single one of them as if it was a cement curb. The only way to really drag this thing from the back of the property to front was to walk it backwards. Yes the two wheels make it sturdy but because every rut once to stop this thing you spend way more energy trying to steer and pull then you would just facing forward and walking normal with a single wheel wheelbarrow.

It’s because the wheels are way too far back in wheelbarrow mode so when you hit a small rut there’s so much weight in front of the wheels that the unit wants to stop dead in its tracks and rock forward.

They market this as a design improvement but it’s not. It is extremely frustrating and no one in their right mind would want to do this more than one time before never doing it again. I decided to use the extension arms and throw six bags of mulch on it.

They showed this over and over again in the advertisements and make it appear extremely easy to manage. Again really disappointed. I felt like it was going to break at any moment and it was not easy to push.

It was a small workout. I had to flip the dolly lip down for peace of mind. It was much easier to wheel around the yard in the dolly mode however the arms did not feel like they were up to the job. It honestly felt like if I did this a few times I would break them.

Last and most annoying part. I put 2-3 cubic feet of soil in the tub and after walking the unit backwards to the front to unload I found that the dolly lip doesn’t lay flush to the tub. It hangs out 1/2 inch.

It catches a lot of dirt in it and so after you unload you have to clean the lip out. Also because the wheels are set so far back you have to pivot he cart up on the front rather than a wheelbarrow bumper.

It makes it heavier to lift and more awkward. Rather than dumping the soil from the air in the flower bed you have to ram the cart nose into the ground and then try to raise the cart and dump out its contents.

If they made a latch on the back of the unit they could have made it so the dolly lip locks flush to solve the dolly getting in the way. I don’t see an easy solution to dumping without relocating the wheels.

It’s a terrible design overall and too bad that it’s listed on so many top 10 wheelbarrow pages. I do not think this is a good solution for anyone. I really wanted this to work because it like the idea of space saving, easy transportation, and all in one unit.

In reality if you want a $200 leaf bag carrier or garden cart to pull wheel and plant little flowers than have fun. It’s way to over priced for that though. If you are going to do yard work don’t waste your time and money like I did.

Good thing target has a nice return policy because the took it back for me.

I bought the Aerocart for use in the spring, though it is too early to use it, I wanted to assemble it and see how it works. I am a 70 year old woman with fairly decent mechanical skills but I am not very strong.

I had no trouble following the directions and the parts fit very easily together. The quality of the cart is fantastic. It appears that everything will work as advertised. I mostly will use it to haul topsoil, mulch, loose and bagged, and yard waste.

It has an attachment ring to hold yard wast bags in place while being filled. The features seem to be very well thought out for maximum use of a cart. It is very adaptable to a lot of tasks. I also ordered the wagon cart and it is really awesome.

Just like advertised. Hope to get a lot of work out of this cart.

Well, it looks heavy duty. The first time I used it was on a deck demo. I started tossing deck boards less than 2 feet long into the wheelbarrow. After loading, I wheeled it to my trailer to dump the debris in.

After doing so off I went with the wheelbarrow in tow. I looked down at the tub and noticed a 8″ long crack across the bottom. I thought no way could that have caused that. Then I’m investigating the creek closer I noticed how thin the bottom of the tub actually was.

It was maybe an eighth of an inch thick. Lo and behold I saw another crack up towards the front of the tub bottom. Now maybe this is my fault and I should’ve read more about the wheel barrel prior to purchasing it.

This is not a professional use wheelbarrow. I would category eyes this as a homeowner light yard debris wheelbarrow. I would be concerned to use it for any kind of stone Gravol or a shovel with a sharp point especially in the winter time when it would be more susceptible to the temperatures and cracking up.

It was 85° out when I was using it so temperature should not of been a factor. And $149 temperature shouldn’t matter anyway. It should’ve been able to take the minor abuse I was putting it through abuse I was putting it through.

I’m a professional contractor and I’m very picky when it comes to taking care of my tools and the quality Inn which I buy. I learned a long time ago in my trade the biz not pay to use cheap quality tomatoes or abuse them at any level of quality.

I had no idea or even give it a second thought to what I was doing would cause this issue. Live and learn I’m just hoping I can find a replacement tub that’s heavier duty than this one and that it will fit this frame without drilling holes.

I bought this wheelbarrow to spread 3 yards of loam. My old wheelbarrow broke on the third load. I found this wheelbarrow lightweight but durable enough for the heavy loam. I got the job done in one day and was very pleased with the performance! Also the store employee who put together the wheelbarrow was very helpful picking out the best one for my job.

Well made, took less than an hour to build. I don’t like wood handles so that’s one reason I picked this one. Acme was very accommodating to my needs. Great customer service.

See where it says “Move mounds of mulch or loads of leaves”? That’s as much as it can handle. Need to move sand or soil or debris, anything harder or heavier than already-dried grass clippings? Tough.

This product is too poorly made even for light household use. While the frame seems solid and the wheels are a good size, the tray is thin and brittle and vulnerable. It cracks easily and the cracks grow quickly.

The only way it “will provide years of service” is if you never use it.

Love this wheelbarrow so far. Haven’t used it that ,much but it seems built well enough for my needs. The only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is that it is difficult to completely empty when dumping.

Some material stays in and you actually have to lift the wheel barrow to get it completely empty. Just a bit of a design flaw on the front edge of the bucket. It hits the ground to quickly not allowing you to dump as you should.

Once again buy something already assembled and it falls apart on the first use. Both tires fell off because the pins were not In, both handles had come loose and had lost most of the bolts and washers probably because the we not tightened when put together.

Seems to be everything that’s built in store you should bring it home and do a one over just to be sure it’s not going to fall apart. Never buying from here again. Couldn’t even return it because the store wasn’t open Worst place to buy assembled units.

My first wheelbarrow was a cheapo 3 or 4 cu. ft. bought from a hardware store. My local contractor/building supplier was walking through my yard and noticed I was digging out my foundation of clay and hauling it back to a field for dumping.

He went to his business (couple hundred yards away) and returned with his commercial wheelbarrow. After I returned it after my project was done, I purchased a more heavy duty wheelbarrow with wood handles and a pneumatic tire.

Two years later, one of the handles broke and I screwed metal braces to it and it has been in service for thirty-five years. The last ten years it has been constantly in need of tire air (flat). Looked online for a replacement and finally found The Marathon at Walmart.

This wheelbarrow had metal handles and a flat-free tire and is built like a tank. Today, I hauled seven very full loads of apples for dumping 75 yards away. Very happy with my purchase. I am 66 and not a big guy and I didn’t feel that it was too heavy as a previous reviewer stated.

very strong. Should last a long time. Really like the no flat tire. The only problem is putting the thing together. A degree in mechanical engineering is a plus. Make sure you have a 14mm socket/wrench and a grease gun.

The previous guy said it was too heavy, not really. If it wasnt, it wouldnt last. It is almost all steel. Once it is put together you will like it.

I ws very pleased with how fast my purchase arrived. I had my contractor assemble it, and it took him an hour and alot of complaining about awful instructions, insufficient screws,etc, and we discovered that the rubber handles slide right off when you attempt to hold onto them!! They’re not the correct size!! I plan on gluing them on, but why should I have to? What an overall disappointment for an expensive wheelbarrow.

One day of heavy gardening left my wheelbarrow tray a wreck. Did I drop cinder blocks or river rocks in it? No. I loaded it with shovelfuls of sod: dirt and grass. That was too much for the tray to handle, and it’s now cracked most of the way across.

Mine is not the only one to fail; homeowners everywhere report the same problems with this model. Wish I’d read other reviews before buying. Save yourself a disappointment and don’t buy it.

Love that it’s light wait. Main use for it will be bringing in firewood in the house. Couple years ago I was bring in firewood with traditional wheel barrel and it tipped over taking it with me I broke my knee.

So I’m looking forward to the more controller able wheel barrel. Does take little getting use to turning a two wheel barrel but well worth it.

Make sure you get an unopened one. Store had multiple opened wheel barrows (because they assemble some in the back of the store). Boxes and pieces everywhere. Took them about 45 minutes to “find all the pieces” only to get it home to put it together and all the pieces weren’t there.

No bolts. Whole ordeal was a disaster.

Its not a bad wheelbarrow for light yard work, but not for construction work. It is fairly sturdy the tires are alright. It does handle well over rough ground. For the money it’s a good one

Assembly: easy to assemble, about 8 pairs of bolts and nuts, but the instruction has tiny font size – it’s good that you can almost use the diagrams exclusively to figure out to connect which part to which part.

Design: This is not in the common form of a wheelbarrow with one big front wheel and two handles on the back, but rather a hybrid of a wheelbarrow and 4-wheel garden cart: two front inflated rubber tires and two stands on the back, with a long loop handle.

It has a very low position: ~19″ from the top of bucket to the ground, well below my knees, and ~26″ from top of the handle to the ground. It is lightweight: literally a plastic bucket sitting on top of a steal frame and two wheels.

Overall the built quality is satisfactory, but the plastic bucket definitely could be thicker and therefore much sturdier. Use: at first look when done assembly, it seems way too low to use. Very happy to be proven wrong: the low position is convenient to load and unload, and you just need to slightly lower yourself to pick it up from the handle.

The long handle is easily to accommodate any body height (other than small children). The weight distribution seems good: probably 70:30, 70% on wheels and 30% on handles. In my case, it’s quite easy to cart two bags of 2-cubic foot garden soils on a upward slope (See pic).

While it has a stated 330 lbs hauling capacity, I would never put a full bucket of gravel or similar in it, which would definitely put too much stress on the axis and the bucket body. Overall, it’s well engineered and easy to move stuff around in my yard and garden.

This is a great wheelbarrow. Easy to put together and light weight. Easy to maneuver. The 2 wheels give it balance. It is made of a hard plastic which makes it light weight and won’t rust! Perfect for yard maintenance.

Sturdily made, pretty easy to assemble. Well painted. It’s slightly clumsy for rough slopes, especially if you’re traversing them rather than going straight up or down due to the wheels at the back. (you have to lift the back well up to clear the slope with the up hill wheel).

It comes supplied with skids to replace the rear wheels if you want to make it more like a conventional barrow, maybe a better option for rough terrain. Probably my fault for having the handles set too high though, they adjust to three different heights & I had them at the top.

But it’s ace at going up slopes & carrying heavy loads, it manages amazingly well on just one battery (two can be fitted) – I was using it filled with heavy wet topsoil up a really twisty steep slope all afternoon, & the battery was still showing 2/3 charge left when I finished.

It well exceeds the 12% specified incline too, part of the hill I was going up was more like 35*!. In all, I’d recommend it, quite expensive but it’s Makita quality & the batteries fit their current range of cordless tools too.

Great if you’ve got a lot of sand or soil etc to move!.

I researched these products & decided the Makita is the best buy, pound for pound – particularly if you already have any 18v Makita tools, as the battery fits. It’s an excellent barrow. Pluses are: decent ize jockey wheels.

2 speed operation, disc brake, LED lights for working indoors. Similar barrowws have to self-assembled & reviews I’ve read suggest this can be a nightmare. Makita is simple. All you have to do is slot in the rear wheels [& they provide 2 pillars to chock it up] & put the handles in place.

20 minute job & a child could do it. Alan Wadkins gave me good pre-sales advice, were competitive on price & deliverd free next day. Impressive.

An impressive device. Sometimes I feel it would be good if it was a bit faster but other times it’s too fast! More convenient than getting out the garden tractor and trailer and much more discrete (no noise.

) It seemed expensive at first, but it is a very well made piece of kit.
