The game is one of the few games that gets the simulation aspect of VR correct. Being able to sit in a roller coasters in VR can actually induce butterfly’s without actually being on a roller coasters.

If you have a PSvr you should pick this up. With the PSvr being backwards compatible on PS5 coming out after 2020 its worth it to have a physical copy. This is pretty much a Roller Coaster simulator.

there’s not only 1 or 2 ways to win like with most games. in roller coaster tycoon there are dozens of ways to win (or lose) a scenario. some are just better or worse than others. which way is better or worse.

that is up to you, you decide 😉 so, you are in control. each expansion pack and game also adds new rides, scenarios, shops/stalls, options and challenges to keep things interesting. plus much more and once one installs the original game & it’s 2 expansion packs there are over 90 scenarios for you to beat, with a few taking a hour – an hour and a half to some taking 2-3 & 1/2 hours to some taking over 4 hours (not counting having to replay it because you didn’t beat any given scenario) so there are countless hours of fun, countless possibilities and just an endless variety of possibilities of all kinds with roller coaster tycoon that should have you interested from the first scenario.

all of the roller coaster tycoon games offer this, which is why they are so great, in my opinion. and they just keep adding more and more to make it better, more interesting, more challenging and more fun.

this game is fun for the whole family. i’ve seen people who have never played a video game in their life get talked into playing RCT and they were hooked. same goes with people who barely know how to use a computer.

Roller Coaster Tycoon is a great game that still provides hours of fun more than 10 years after it was released. The Gold Edition includes the basic game and two expansion packs: Added Attractions and Loopy Landscapes.

The premise of the game is to successfully operate, maintain, and promote your amusement park while meeting the goals of individual scenarios. Along the way you win awards for Best Value and other categories.

You win the scenarios based on reaching set goals such as: having 600 guests in the park in October of your third year of operation, or having your Guest Satisfaction level over 50%, or having a Park Gross Value of $50,000.

This is a fun game, and one that Ive enjoyed playing. Ive had no problem running it on my older laptop (PII 750 MHz with 512 MB RAM and 8 MB video onboard) using Windows XP as the OS, and it also works on systems using Windows Vista as the OS.

I loved the RollerCoaster and Zoo Tycoon games as a kid and playing this one on switch is just as good. Really enjoyable and a great way to pass time. It runs well on Nintendo Switch as well. Would recommend to anyone that likes the RollerCoaster tycoon series.

Waste of money. The game controls are not very good. Totally frustrating. My son (10) played the game for about 30 minutes and has no desire to play it again.

A very basic version on the original game. Not worth full price. Lacks in graphics, game-play and lost interest within a few games.

The only reason I cannot give this game an ‘excellent’ rating is the frequent crashing. I have a brand-new MacBook Pro 15 with upgraded video and memory. Long and the short of it, this game will crash somewhat randomly – when starting a scenario, when editing fireworks, when pausing.

there is no rhyme or reason to it I’ve found yet. You can play for a long time without crashing, however. But I still save after every new ride and in the middle of big rollercoaster building so that I don’t lose anything.

This has saved me a number of times! I love the on-ride cams. It makes up for the twitchiness and minor bugs in the game. I came from RCT1 & 2, so I’m used to the complex interface. I do wish this version would make things more consistent though.

eg, ride entrances are on the construction menu for rollercoasters, but not on other rides. Why? Just one of the many quirks about RCT3. The graphics are insanely good compared to legacy versions. Sadly, you can’t drown vandals like before.

Oh well, you take the good with the “bad”! All in all, I can highly recommend this game to anyone with a fairly sophisticated computer – especially in terms of graphics upgrades. Even with the program’s age, it still is a relatively modern-feeling game that is fun for most ages!.

I’ve only just started playing, but I am in love with it. I liked the previous two, but well, SO glad they added a first person view to the rides. When I build something crazy, I want to see it like they do.

I also like that some of the people are more inclined to go on crazier rides, instead of everyone being all ‘this looks too intense for me’. I also like that when you click on people, they say ‘Is someone watching me?’ It’s just got some humorous points which are appreciated.

If you liked the other two, you’ll love this one too. Graphics are a bit more enhanced, but not overly so. It’s just good fun. Besides, if you have the wild animal park, you can let them out and terrify the guests!.

I bought this game because I could not get the DLC by themselves anymore, I had to get platinum. I loved this game on older computers, but the modern-day drivers on any computer I have access to don’t really know what the game is, or why it’s so old, so the performance is awful and the gameplay is even worse.

The colors are completely shot, my FPS peaks at 10, the draw distance is tiny, and all the textures are rendered upside down, for whatever reason. A great game, a great retailer, but no way to bring this game up in recency, or fix any driver bugs.

Its nice to have all the expansions in one package. I enjoyed the few that I had when they first came out but I never had “all” of them. I was sad to discover that “Coaster Tycoon” was no longer being updated or had any newer versions than these.

This is a good value. I recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed Roller Coaster Tycoon in the past.

Roller coaster tycoon is legit what I still have on my computer! The one game that I love to play is this! You can build your own theme park (a. k. a. Your own mini Disney!) and you set the prices, you set how big you want it and you can even do little things such as name your people walking in and out of the park! The only downfall is that if a person pukes off a ride you need to clean it up haha! It’s so good! #pcgames #computergames #games.

Its good to bring back good memories of playing as a kid, however I cant get Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 to work due to graphics card. My computer meets and exceeds all requirements but it still wont run.

Fun game to play with family, kids, or as an adult. Kids will enjoy this game as they are able to design the zoo and play with animals. Adult gamers will enjoy this game as there are a number of challenges that are a bit difficult.

Plenty of achievements to earn and the graphics are great. Teaches you about animals, the habitats they prefer, the interaction they prefer, and the food they prefer to eat. Animals have babies, you can adopt animals, you can release animals, and you can gift animals.

During live mode you can also play with a friend in their zoo!.

Oh I love this game! It’s family friendly and so much fun. I’ve always favored these type of games because it’s not super traumatic. It’s so enjoyable and once you get to the stage of the animals breeding it so cute to see the babies running around.

I love the ability to be able to design your own zoo and habitats. It’s an animal lovers dream game!.

My boyfriend has a sick obsession with this game and I really see why. It is super user friendly and has a whole introduction on how to use what buttons to play. Everything is so life-like, the animals look super realistic and its really interactive.

My favorite part of the game is when the animals have babies and you get to see them run around and play. Id recommend for any one of any age.

Me and my kiddos love this game. The graphics are amazing and the animals are adorable. I love that it teaches kids the responsibility and joy of caring for animals and it also teaches about the different animals like their habitat and things.

My kids loved the demo so we got the full experience. They love learning about zoology and this is a great way to engage and teach their hungry minds.

I’m not a huge videogamer, but Zoo Tycoon is a lot of fun! I love that you can control aspects of the zoo in such detail, from the marketing campaigns, overall look of the zoo, to what animals you decide to care for.

It can get tedious after a while. I do not recommend this game unless you are able to commit a large amount of time to it. You are essentially, managing a very large zoo and your animals depend on you.

Love this game. It’s super addicting and If you are an animal lover like myself, you will love it too. I don’t really support zoos because of what they do to animals so I did not buy this game. Someone did lend it to me and it has an elephant on the front so I decided to try it out and I am so glad I did.

Ive always loved the zoo tycoon games but when I switched to Mac it took ages to find a compatible game. This is great. There are so many scenarios to play though as well as the free form games. Its also very easy to navigate.

Great for kids or adults who enjoy easy gaming :).

If you already have the original Zoo Tycoon then you will probably be a bit disappointed with this game. Instead of the load of animals you are given in the original, you are only given a few. However it does have far better graphics and you can get really close in to the animals, walk around as a keeper, and the animals do a lot more than just walk around in circles like the old game.

For example, the crocodiles swish their tails and when they are tired they yawn. All in all this is a pretty different game to the original, designed to let you interact more with the animals and see the zoo more as you would see it in real life.

This is pretty much like Mario Kart in SNES or Crash Team Racing and Chocobo Racing in PS1. The main difference is in the fact that this is based on Aerial Fights or Race. You can design your own planes and upgrade your plane’s power with special stuff that you unlock as you complete Boss missions.

You can also design your own character and make it as cute and kiddish as you want to. Each plane has a default machine gun weapon that can overheat, and for non racing session, you can fire missiles with your planes.

If you go around the fighting/racing area, you can find power ups/special weapon like Orbital Satellite and F-Beam and other cool stuff you can fire at your opponent and KO them, but everyone respawned anyway, until timer reaches zero.

In some missions, you’d be challenged to race/fight without power/special weapon and the area you play is really cool with all kinds of tunnels and secret areas for picking up special weapons. The only thing I dislike about the game is when I race, I’ve got to go through a certain checkpoint at quite a precise spot, though game-wise this make sense.

This is type of game thats hard to find in PS3 after leaving SNES and PS1. If you are fond of Mario Kart, Crash Team Racing, and Chocobo Racing, you probably enjoy this game, the aerial fight and customization features adds a totally new flavor to this kind of game.

I got this game a couple weeks ago for about $10. I can’t say it was worth it. If you’ve played any of the other My Sims games, this one is nothing like it. You do one thing-fly planes. Over and over again.

The missions change and you can upgrade your plane, but the gameplay is exactly the same the whole time. The graphics are good and it’s a cute idea, but could have been just as effective as an iPhone app.

I was surprised when I got this. I bought it for my 10 year old nephew and enjoyed it so much I got a copy for my self. It’s not really “The Sims”. They just talk like the sims but that’s about it. If your after a plane simulator then this is not for you but if your after a fun dog fighting game then you will enjoy this.

I would recommend this to kids and those that just want fun game to play.

This is truely a must-have expansion for Zoo Tycoon 2. It allows your zoo new buildings (such as research and education centers), fossil-researching staff, new animals (extinct ones!) such as the Dodo, Giant Ground Sloth, and the Saber-tooth Tiger.

It also adds new map locations, such as the Gobi Desert of Mongolia/China. Plus, new flora such as the Sugaro Cactus.
