20 Best Usb Rechargeable Flashlight (2022 Updated)

The light is good. Sometimes I have trouble getting it to turn out after I’ve been charging it. I think it needs to be fully charged before it’s turns on again which is frustrating. I also can’t find a carrier for it to go on my duty belt.

I’m using some old school leather tube right now my 70 year old former chief gave me. I wish there was a sleek way to carry it efficiently.

Highest setting is very bright. Lights up the yard brighter than my much larger hand held light. the lowest setting is great for working on things close up, when you don’t want to blind yourself. Durable construction, good fit and finish.

Love it being rechargeable, saves a lot on batteries. sits comfortably on the head, but is a little heavier than other models, probably due to aluminum construction which adds to its durability. Came with everything shown.

Expensive. But you get what you pay for. A compact very bright flashlight that is easy to charge. The three programmable options are: high-strobe-low, low-medium-high, or high only. The manufacturer should change low-medium-high option to high-medium-low or make that another programmable option.

Another feature I do not like is that only a Streamlight brand battery can be recharged internally using the USB port. The Streamlight battery is expensive. Replacement 18650 lithium ion batteries can be used, but must be removed and recharged using an external charger.

Another great light from Streamlight. This light is small and compact enough for everyday carry, it is just barely larger in diameter then a quarter (see picture). The pocket clip hold tight and doubles as a head light, you can clip it on the bill of your hat without having to remove the clip from the light (see pictures).

Great design on the clip A++. I have other brands of lights that will do that, but you have to remove the clip and filp it which it usually not easy and definitely not convenient. This light is vary bright as you can see in the picture and that tree is 50+ yards away.

It was pitch black out when the picture was taken. The pictures were taken with my Galaxy Note 20 ultra and it was not in night mode. Camera settings were set to default so no extra enhancements. I will be buying more of these lights.

I think this is the BEST LIGHT FOR THE MONEY HANDS DOWN. I purchased model PROTAC 2L-X 88062 500 Lumens, this model comes with 2 CR123A batteries. You can also use one 18650 which I will be purchasing the Streamlight 18650 batteries since they have a micro USB port bulit in to them so no special charger needed.

Streamlight also offers a version of the PROTAC 2L-X that has a micro USB port built in to the light for when using rechargeable batteries you don’t have to remove them from the light to charge them.

Bought for swat use. Normally use Streamlight Protac HL on patrol. 2LX is smaller but still provides great light output. Perfect for what I need and fits perfectly in HSGI pistol mag taco. Can’t comment on battery life yet but I did get the rechargeable batteries and I keep one with me when I have the light.

Pics show difference in size from 2LX to Protac HL. Pic with the lights was taken in day light shined at my floor. 2LX is on the right and Protac HL on the left. Slightly less intensity than Protac HL but still enough light for anything I’ve needed.

I love this flashlight and just bought my 3rd Streamlight ProTac 2L-X (the second one I purchased was for my mom. ) I also own the slightly larger HL-X which is a 1,000 lumen version of this 500 lumen 2L-X.

To me, it seems just as bright as the 1,000 lumen counterpart. The tube (for the 2L-X & HL-X) is the perfect size to fit in scope rings which I’ve used to mount on firearms. I prefer the more-compact size of the 2L-X, but both are excellent tactical flashlights.

The aluminum body/tube is very durable. The strobe and low settings work well. I highly recommend buying a quality protected-rechargeable 18650 button-top battery and appropriate charger. Using a quality aftermarket (must be button-top) 18650 with a decent mah-rating is well worth it as I rarely have to charge them! Using two CR123A Li-ion batteries doesn’t even compare—having a good 18650 makes this flashlight even better.

The Energizer Vision HD Rechargeable LED Metal Flashlight I received at a reduced price to try for my honest opinion is awesome. I am very Pleased with the quality of this flashlight. It is very sturdy and I LOVE the fact that it is rechargeable.

I would Definately keep this flashlight in my car for any occasion. It has 3 settings for light. A very bright mode for looking far away in the dark, a dimmer mode for maybe looking in the car for something and a flashing mode which is my favorite.

This is great for if you’re broke down and need to flag someone down and is bright enough to be seen. The flashlight itself is so sturdy and heavy that you can use it as a defense mechanism if needed.

Energizer is my go to for batteries, flashlights etc. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it. Technology keeps getting better and better.

The Energizer Vision HD Rechargeable LED Metal Flashlight is the best flashlight I have ever used in my entire life! It reminds me of something a police officer would use. The light provides amazing reach and brightness! The only aspect of this light that I didn’t like is the weight.

It’s very heavy but that’s also a great feature if you ever need to protect yourself. This extremely high quality flashlight will last forever. I love the fact that I don’t have to spend money on batteries because it’s rechargable.

You can charge it in the car or even off your phone if you need to. It has a bunch of cool light modes that are very helpful in certain situations. Very easy to use and doesn’t take too long to charge.

Totally love the Energizer Vision HD Rechargeable LED Metal Flashlight! These flashlights are mighty the HD LED light is bright and powerful provides a ton of light! The fact that these flash lights are made of metal is great they are durable but not heavy feeling.

There are three different lighting modes which is nice. The fact that they are also waterproof is amazing just because you never know. these flashlights are definitely made to last no matter what. The very best feature is that they are rechargeable so it’s always going to be ready and good to go whenever and for how long you are going to need it! Definitely recommend these flashlights for litterly any situation you would need a flashlight for.

Was looking for a light for my vehicle, backpacks and edc. Had intentions of buying about 4-5 to test them out and this one was first. I did get a couple of the others but I keep coming back to this one.

It puts out a decent amount of light on the low beam, but the high beam is very bright. Surprisingly bright for its size. Fits easily in the pocket (didnt think it would be as small as it is) and clips on to a ball cap just fine.

Has a gasket around the charging area that is pretty robust, should be plenty of waterproof. Survived camping through a heavier than expected rainstorm just fine. The battery life seems to be good. Ive only charged it once.

Use it daily for short to moderate amounts of time. Been using my first one now for about a month and a half on the initial charge. Bought one to test, now own 4. This thing is a find. Side note, if your looking for one that is the size of a small mag light, this model isnt it.

Its a bit thicker than a pen and about as long as one so its smaller than I was expecting. Great edc light though.

A task of finding a simple, compact, bright flashlight for EDC is NOT easy. Most lights have too many modes and switches which increase chance of failure, the lows are often too dim and the highs too bright which hinders runtime.

This great flashlight is perfect for EDConly two modes and a very comfortable momentary function as well as a permanent switch option. Starts on low at 50 lumens which covers 95% of my needs when searching for something or making repairs in dark indoor places.

Even at 50 lumens the light is sharp, clear and floods a wider area, even outdoors. Perfect for illuminating a smaller area you’re working on up-close, like electronics, basements, car interior/engine.

Secondary mode at 250 lumens works great for momentarily flooding a backyard or a dark alley at night to spot for potential threats. Moving between modes as well as between momentary/permanent switch is very intuitive and easy.

The switch requires a good amount of pressure for a permanent click, but this is what you want in a flashlight designed to be used primarily for lighting up smaller areas for short duration at a time, which makes a deep momentary switch a welcome and comfortable feature.

It’s a good EDC Light and Rechargeable. The Coyote Tan is the “Tactical” model, that uses the High Mode First and the Low Mode on the second push of the button. Other Models are reversed from Low to High.

I wanted the High Mode first, because I occasionally carry it when I Concealed Carry. Less fumbling with modes when you need it. The one negative is the switch. It’s rather hard to push. It reminds me of the Streamlight Stylus Pro series.

The button requires a significant amount of pressure in a specific type of push of the button to click it on. I got one for my wife to EDC. But she has mild arthritis in her hand and is unable to use the switch.

I ended up getting us both the new larger “Macrostream” which has higher lumens and an easier to use flush fit button. I like it better than the Microstream, though it’s a little bit larger. I wish Streamlight would do something with the button on the rear of the Microstream and Stylus.

They are great for Dress and low profile carry. Overall, it’s a very good light and superior quality, with enough power to out perform other lights twice it’s size.

I usually don’t review but this light is where it’s at. Ive had and handled a lot of trashy and higher-end flashlights. Fenix, Surefire, Nebo & other competitors with nitecore are specifically my focus here.

Ive had small ones, medium ones, big ones, focusing ones, customizable ones, headlamps and so on. Ive had several nitecores and my previous favorite was the p12. This one is a significant upgrade from that with some features.

Im very rough on my equipment I use for work and out in the woods. This thing can be put through hell and still works great! The thing I love about this light the most is the fact I can recharge it via cable.

I can use a small battery pack for this and don’t have to pack several batteries for a week or two long trip in the bush. All in all this light is my favorite I’ve ever owned and it gets a full 5 stars from me.

Solid products but what’s with the battery situation? Seems there are several variations of the 2700 series. I bought a Nitecore P10i 1800 Lumen light and supplemented it with a NITECORE MPB21 KIT so I had a spare battery and emergency light.

All good. This month I bought a Nitecore MH25S 1800 Lumen for the wife. I assumed I would have spare batteries for that as well. The batteries are not interchangeable even though they’re both 1800 lumen and very similar lights All three batteries work in the MH25S but only 2 of them work in the P10i.

Makes it hard to switch out batteries for us. Other than that these are great lights, but would it be so hard to engineer universal compatibility for these? I’m paying top dollar and expect top engineering.

The flashlight is as bright as it can be, there is a difference between the 1700 and the 4k lumens but not a whole lot, I would expect that it should at least be 2 to 3 times brighter from the 1700 lumens.

I also found either dirt or burn mark (rings) around the LED. LED is indeed very bright and get hot pretty quickly. I just wished there were no signs of burn marks or dirt around the LED since this is after all a brand new flash light.

I am satisfied with the brightness. changing the mode is pretty easy to do. regarding the different setting, on some occasion, it will miss a step when changing through the different light settings, so sometimes, after changing the mode, I turn off the flash light, turn it back on, and will turn on the last setting but when you start stepping through the levels, it will sometimes skip a setting and jump to either 4k or strobe, or miss the low level and just jump to 300 lumens.

Overall solid flashlight body and construction, however I’ve had to return mine twice to the company to get replacements due to faulty power/program button. Good thing it is a lifetime warranty. Very bright in its brightest mode.

Will light up surprisingly far. A little big, I like that I can use regular 18650 batteries in it however they provide a special 18650 battery that is made so that only that special one will show you charge level warnings and indicator light.

If you use a regular 18650 you loose the ability to see any charge level. Other beef I have was its programing options. You have to memorize a special sequence of quick half-presses of the power button and then a longer press to change programs.

I dont have a great memory and find it too much of a hassle to quickly change a program if I want to change the order in which light intensities are sequenced. The default program will start with the brightest and then down to the lowest with strobe between, which is a bit annoying as it takes four half-button presses to get to the lowest intensity and if you make one too many you have to start over again.

I like the strobe but I would have liked the lowest setting to be the first. You cannot have it both ways. There is a program where you can have the least intense the first to come up but then the strobe option is not available.

I find the brightest intensity nice but it drains the battery very quickly. I have to economise my light usage for the day if I am to keep using the brightest function. The light gets very hot too if used for more than a minute or so.

I’ve unfortunately lost my light somehere in the plant. (I work in production maintenance). I am trying a different model and am so far very happy with it. Fenix UC35.

I purchased the Pelucan 7600 two days ago from a local dealer here in Fort Wayne called Brateman’s Inc. I debated between buying the Pelican 7600 and the SureFire Stiletto at 1,000 Lumens. I work for a World Wide Federal/State contracted Security Company.

The Pelican 7600 isca absolute must have for Any CPO, Police, Fire, EMT, TSO, or Any Public Safety or Civil Service Employee. It has a great amount of settings and it is VERY bright at 944 Lumens! The Green and Red lights are fantastic and just at a perfect leveof brightness.

Fixed lights are best and good tight beams. Flashlights with adjustable beams is usually a fixture of cheaper products and usually become faulty quickly, but not with the outstanding III Hard Anodized Materials that gives itca cool feel in the hand and makes it feel good and solid in the hand.

Well built. The 944 Lumen Fixed beam covers Everything! The light is blaring bright and the Stun Strobe at 944 Lumens it will actually stun your eyes tough for quite a while, and the biggest Green Circle in front of your eyes that you CANNOT see through sticks around for a while too.

I tested this theory. I am a big “Flashlight Lover”, and I patrol all sorts of light and pitch dark areas on my posts. The Pelican 7600 gets it done with all around best technology for the money! Sure! other companies like Surefire, Onlit, Fenix etc.

are good, but the Pelican 7600 is the “YETI” of most of them. but all things considered?. Pelican, Gets-It-Done !!.

The flashlight is very bright when you go to the turbocharged power. It’s not bad but it’s a little bit of a learning curve to figure out how to manipulate it in the different modes. I’m thinking if it was in a quick reaction situation it might be a little more difficult to maneuver.

Now I can’t tell you a better way to do it but then again I’m not a flashlight designer. Maybe this is the way. The size and weight are great, the ability to recharge is great, plus the charge level feature is great.

Great feature to be waterproof if using it hunting in wet areas. Would also like the ability to focus tighter. Wide angle to zoom at various levels. All in all a winning light. I would recommend this to a friend for a great variable brightness light in a small package.

This is, by far, the best flashlight that I’ve ever owned. At 800 lumens, it is incredibly bright. If you hold the on button for a few seconds, it switches to a low light option at 100 lumens that is perfect for when you don’t need such a bright light.

I love no longer having to constantly replace batteries. The rechargeable red lithium charged using a USB 3. 0 is one of my favorite features. Charge time isn’t bad at all and the battery life per charge is really good.

The charging port is opened and closed by simply sliding from side to side which allows the flashlight to be waterproof and dustproof up to abut 1M. According to the MFG, it puts out a high output bullseye beam that provides both spot and flood coverage.

I would have liked it if they allowed you the option to control the beam like most traditional flashlights. But, the amount of light it produces is amazing regardless. This flashlight will light an entire room in the dark no matter where the beam is pointed.

I can’t wait to test it out in the woods next year, and love the utility clip that it comes with for that purpose. Overall, this is an incredibly bright flashlight with well thought out and practical features.

Spent $100 on this flashlight. Milwaukee promised it was rugged dustproof and built to last and was rechargeable. It was bright and worked well for 6 months. Home Depot would not honor the warranty and Milwaukee won’t either.

Milwaukee is going down the drain. In the past 4 years it gets worse and worse but the equipment gets more expensive. Goodbye Milwaukee! Get a Klein Tools Flashlight! It’s better and they stand by their products! Get rid of Milwaukee now!.

I absolutely loved this flashlight when I first got it. It was very bright and seemed very durable. That lasted about 3 week’s total. I noticed the light getting dimmer and dimmer even after full charge.

Then I dropped it while only standing flat on the ground and now the USB light will only flash green then right back red even after charging. I am very dissatisfied especially after being so excited with how it first worked.

The P26 is a sturdy, durable, web built flashlight. There are a few things that one must get accustomed to when deploying this unit for daily use. For one, the included pocket clip can sometimes get in the way when holding the light and using ones thumb to activate the tail-switch.

And because the clip best sits on the flattened portions of the body, adjusting it to try to overcome this limitation can be somewhat pointless. Additionally, there is a lanyard ring that screws onto the body close to the end cap.

This allows the lanyard to securely mate to the body of the light and avoids the possibility of the lanyard getting unintentionally worn down and cut from rubbing against a semi-sharp portion of the light body as is to be found on the tail-cap.

It is great addition, but one has to be vary careful with this ring as it can move back and forth on its threads causing the tail-cap not to make firm contact with the battery. When this happens, the light wont work and it may take a bit of assessing to determine that the lanyard ring is just too close to the tail-cap.

The adjusting ring that allows the light to go from 0. 5 lumen up to 100 lumen output is not easily adjustable when the light is being held in a “tactical grip” as its positioning on the light doesn’t allow for easy adjustment while operational.

However, this design represents an interesting departure from the pre-programmed fixed output designs that are prevalent today and allows for more precise control of the output. Possibly, an option that allowed both modes of operation could be a good trade-off, but then again, that may also drive up the cost somewhat.

Those are the dislikes, here are the likes for this light. Strong, consistent output. Used at night primarily for search and identify, the light produces a very strong, consistent beam. No fussing there.

It is easy to handle in most cases and with the belt clip and lanyard ring removed, it tends to fit ones hand almost like it was a finger. The build quality is excellent with its parts fitting snugly together which aids in its water resistance.

I used two different 18650 batteries in the light. Both had dissimilar mAh ratings and I found the light performed well in both instances. My next step is to procure an original Nightcore battery and assess the performance with that battery installed.

Overall, I can say definitively that for the price, the P26 is a good buy. Its performance, look, feel and functionality are above par cumulatively and it can be a great enhancement to your toolbag or box.

The best and only EDC light I will ever carry. Does all of the functions I will ever need. 5 brightness settings. Check SOS and strobe settings. Check Magnetic base. Check Head that rotates for a work light.

Check. But for all of the great things packed into one light, how on earth is it not rechargeable? It’s the only thing this light is missing and it’s a real oversight. However the light itself is so good that I’ll deal with the minor inconvenience of removing the battery to charge.

I was happy with this flashlight while it worked for simple fact that the magnetic base and adjustable head were super useful to me every day at work. I like the holster that you can Velcro to your belt and easily access the light with another Velcro strap.

I still use the holder today, but unfortunately the light shorted out in just a few weeks. It started by shutting off whenever it was placed on its mag base, and then got to the point that it would shut off whenever it was just held in place by the magnet, even if I gingerly let it seat.

Now it’s completly shorted out and I have to figure out how to replace the ribbon cable that moves when the head flexes. This is my main issue with this light, but I must also say that the reflector was not impressive when the light was functional.

The led was clearly visible and dominant in the center of the shine, not diffused to create an even lightened area. I order the klarus flex head recently to replace this light, hopefully it’s a better drop.

This flashlight puts out an incredible amount of light! It can easily light an entire field and make it look as if it were daytime. The only issue with this flashlight is it gets incredibly HOT and I do mean HOT.

If you leave it on the highest sets for more than a minute it gets so hot you will actually get a red hand and your skin will sting from the heat, especially when you press the power on / off button, it really gets HOT.

Other than the heat issue this flashlight would be a perfect 5 star without a doubt. Last note, the battery life is fantastic. The highest setting (assuming you could actually hold it with how hot It gets) lasts for 45 plus minutes.

If you need to light an area and can place the flashlight in a stationary area you will have all the light you could possibly need and have plenty of time on each charge. If they could fix the heat issue this flashlight would be second to none, even with the hear issue it is still an amazing overall flashlight well-worth the price,.

I would give this torch 5 out of 5 for its capabilities and build quality. The reason that it is so amazing is also the reason that it isn’t a perfect light for everyone; it gets very hot, very quickly, when in the highest “turbo” mode.

It could literally be used to warm very cold hands in winter though, which could be a plus. The brightness is such that it would more than qualify as a tactical light – lighting areas to near daylight appearance, or in a defensive scenario, to blind or disorient an attacker long enough to make your next move.

The build is excellent, with smooth edges all around and a copper button rather than the typical plastic or rubber covered button that would usually wear out or tear with repeated use. The wrist strap is nice, thick, and I think accented with actual leather.

The relative compact size, especially for this amount of power, makes it very handy so you can also hold other items – possibly other tactical items – at the same time; you can carry it easily enough without being overencumbered.

This compactness is one of the reasons that it will run so hot at the higher settings, with less surface area to disperse heat. The run time is actually stated to be fairly long since the handle holds two of the biggest and highest capacity torch batteries available, although I wouldn’t want to time it on turbo mode and push the led, the electronics and batteries to their limits.

All-in-all one of the most powerful lights for its size that you’re likely to find, especially at this price. or any price possibly. It definitely will be the perfect light for some people, and a good thing to have on hand “just in case” for the rest of us.

I live on 10 acres and needed the ability to see at at long range for beers or mountain lions at night. I opted for this model vs the other that had spot and flood option. I needed as much power as possible and this flashlight really lasts for 1 hour 45 minutes at highest setting of 10K lumens! This does get very hot to hold after a while so I limit the time I use it at the highest setting.

But Lord have mercy! This thing lights up the night like nobody’s business! I can look through the woods for predictors before I leave the porch. This definitely has long range! If you love gadgets as much as I do, this is it.

I wouldn’t be without this if I was going on an outdoor excursion trip! Absolutely love it, if you can’t tell.

The flashlight overall is of great quality. Great amount of light and the laser work wonderfully in all conditions. The size of the light and durability is excellent. But after about 4 months, the battery does not hold charge.

It will last at the most 5 minutes. I could have possibly got a defective battery but not sure. I love Klien tools and have never had any complaints until now. Again, it could just be the one I purchased but not sure.

I own a trades business. this is the 2nd duplicate one I purchased, carry in my pocket everyday, and charge in evening. Both instances, the cable connection to charge, the connectors are flimsy, wear down after a few months of charging, I couldnt charge the light anymore.

So both lights were useless after a few months each. Plus the lil rubber protector, on both lights, fell off after a few weeks. Very poor quality, Klein needs to vastly increase their ruggedness & quality overall.

I also purchased a Klein v meter, lol, such a weak signal smh.

I bought this flashlight in August and have been happy with the purchase with a few exceptions recently. I work maintenance and it is hard to find a flashlight that is bright, has a laser pointer and has a magnet.

Recently the clip broke and the lens for the laser pointer fell out or broke so the laser pointer is useless. The laser pointer is useful when talking to someone about an object that is out of reach and you can direct the pointer at object.

I have had no problems with it charging but if I use the flashlight for extended periods through the day it would be nice to have a replaceable rechargeable battery to keep going through the day.

I’m a paramedic, and frequently find myself in a poorly lit setting where I need a light. I have this clipped on my radio strap, so I can turn it on and illuminate the scene hands-free. I love the two brightness settings.

The default (bright) setting is REALLY bright and is great for illuminating outdoor settings at night (like stumbling up a dark sidewalk). The whole light is really well thought out and durable – the clip is bomber, the switch is easy to operate but hard to turn on accidentally, the switch has an indicator light that lets you know its on, and the rechargeable battery is great.

This is a really fantastic flashlight!.

Nice small light with plenty of light. Really light the angled heat, easy to wear of quickly clip to your belt when needed. Keeps your hands free when needed. Wish they mad a OD version but the yellow is hard to lose, lol.

Very good quality for a polymer light and fits in your pocket or just clip it on. One of my favorite lights for it’s size and weighs very little, easy to carry.

Havent put this through the rigors, but brightness is impressive, size and weight are good for my purposes of clipping onto a camping backpack for ready use, and it seems like good quality. I wound up buying some other Streamlight flashlights as gifts because of this one.

Ive had this light for im guessing almost 7 or 8 years now and it has been outstanding. I like that it has been very reliable and is always on standby. 1000 lumens is plenty for general purpose use and its been in the rain, fell with me under water and dropped down steep hills while on expedition.

Recently the switch has gone a bit wonky with me now having to press both buttons to turn it on instead of the normal one. Time for a replacement I guess but since it generally still works, will delegate it into the car for emergency duties.

This will be replaced with the WT25R which I recently bought. Fenix has gone a long way since the early days and they have the formula right in making great products.

I originally purchased an RC15 because it was bright, versatile, and the wall mount charger was convenient (both AC and DC chargers). It was replaced by the RC20 which is brighter and easier to use for both voltages.

Also the new placement of the switches is superior. I’m putting one in the engine room of every boat I work on and have one in my house too.

Great flashlight! I have a couple of the 1L-Protac dual fuel also by Streamlight, and this is a comparable size, slightly smaller. It is also much lighter than the protac. Brightness wise it is very close to the brightness, of the protac.

However, despite the very slight loss of brightness, the Macrostream has a much larger central hotspot than the protac, so I consider it a wash. The rechargeable feature is going to save a lot of money since the CR123s are so expensive to replace, and also I can keep this topped off on battery so it never dims.

I EDC the Streamlight Micro USB everyday and love the size of it. Stays out and I don’t know it’s there until I need it. I hoped this Macro was going to take its place with only a slight increase in diminsion and give me 500 vs 250 Lumen.

It is much larger than I expected. While it is slightly shorter it is almost as big around as a couple of my full feature protacts and it doesn’t have a strobe function. I mean if its neer the same size and has less features I could just carry one of those.

It is of course a Streamlight, well made, great finish, charging feature is great, hate the proprietary battery. All the usual accolades. It just seems they wanted to fill a gap in their size option and didn’t pull it off.

It make a good junk drawer light.

Small, light weight, easy carry flashlight with amazing brightness. USB charging is very convenient. Unfortunately it is not very reliable and frequently requires fiddling to turn it on. Twisting, turning and moving the shield for the charging port usually works but it takes time.

Great little flash light just not suitable for emergencies. I have not had it long enough to rate battery life or durability.

This product seems to be durable ,compact and bright. A family member recommended this item. Time will tell how it performs a year from now .

Wow!!! Just saw my neighbors new Craftsman rechargeable usb flashligt and I have to have one!!! Very impressed!!!We are both on 5 acre lots and I saw my tent and shipping container light up like daylight! But it was pitch black night! It was her using flaahligt from her front yard to mine.

That little light is amazing!!!.

I wanted a small, bright, everyday flashlight that is simple to use. Ordered 2 of the MH11 1000 lumen models. They arrived promptly, with batteries and charging cables. Took several hours to charge, but when done, very bright on the 1000 lumen setting.

Nice feature is that they remember the last setting, so if you have one output that is most useful, just turn it off on that setting and when you turn it back on there it is. No cycling through several settings to find what you want.

I have one for the main floor, one for the basement, and am considering getting one for the car. By the way, pocket size. Only con I see is it that it takes a LONG TIME to charge.

I wanted a tactical flashlight that had a long throw for a large yard. I did compare other brands, but decided to go with Nitecore. I originally was looking at the i4000r, but chose the P20i due to its brightness, long throw, and it’s minimalistic approach to mode/function, so you don’t mistakenly change the mode or brightness by mistake.

This flashlight is excellent! Great price, great build quality, and great performance. It’s brighter, and has about the same throw as my 2 + 3 D Cell LED Mags, + at a third of the size. I highly recommend the P20i to anyone looking for a true tactical flashlight.

The only two minor cons, (at least to me) is it takes a special type battery (not standard top batteries), and it would of been nice if it had button guards, or, an optional cap with guards. Also my warranty card was not filled out by the distributor as stated on the card.

But, other than that is is well worth the price, especially with a 15% off coupon. TY Nitecore.

I wanted an EDC flashlight that is bright, but still small and light. The Nitecore MH10S clearly is a perfect match. Other thoughts: 1. Some users have said that the power button is hard to find at night because the power button is on top (not at the tail cap).

However, it is easy to turn on the flashlight. The opposite side of the power button location has the rubber USB-C cover also helping you turn on the flashlight (your index finger presses the USB-C cover while your thumb presses the power button).

The button is also metal and easy to press with feedback. It’s not mush, or too stiff. 2. The flashlight cannot be used while you’re charging it. This wasn’t mentioned in any other review. Nitecore’s keychain flashlights can be used while charging, but keep in mind this model does not do that.

3. I already washed the flashlight in the sink, and confirmed its water resistance. The threads are well lubricated and sealed well.

If you like a Mag-Lite, you’ll love this thing. Equal to better light output than my 2 D-cell Mag-lite. Bought to replace my mini MagLite (2 AA) which was failing and had poor light output. Wanted this for small size to keep in my tool bag.

The focused setting is nice and not very distorted, which I prefer. Have yet to rate how fast it will eat up a set of batteries, but the dual light levels are nice and easy to get used to. Would like to see an upgrade to keep it fixed in either high or low mode, instead of toggling to low each time you turn on.

but a minor thing as is. Put all of your other flashlights in the next yard sale and get a couple of these. I of course bought a second one for around the house. Light color a plus also, not blue-ish like other LEDS I also like that it uses standard AAA batteries.

Nice product for the price.

Its bright, rechargeable and durable. I can testify to it being water proof. Dropped it in water with it turned on and was unable to get it for about five minutes with the light glaring at the bottom of the water I was worried it would get damaged but finally got it out and it still worked like a champ.

I would still be using that same light if someone hadnt stolen it. I could have bought any number of other flashlights but Im gonna stick with this Milwaukee light as long as they make it.

Same problem as many have had. Worked for a few minutes then nothing. Saw a video where someone took apart the tail end. In my case, after some trial and error I found that if I left the screws (under the ring you have to unscrew) a little loose it works great now.

The charge indicator works but not like the instructions say. Not a big deal it’s good enough. On bright it starts stepping down after five minutes then after a couple minutes its kind of in between bright and low.

Go to the milwaukee site and read the revies there if you are considering this light. I’m giving it one star because of the known issue and I had to fix it. For my use I do like it.

I get my walks in at night. I’m smart about it, and very aware of my surroundings, but taking this light with me, makes me feel ready for anything—even if that just means using the lowest setting to illuminate my feet when crossing streets.

Pros: Real, real, real bright—it’s not messing around, bad guys-beware! Sits in my hand easily—thumb on or off the button Red/green light when charging and finished Cons: When you twist the flashlight for a focused beam, you expose the charging port to the elements.

Likely won’t be a huge problem for me, but for someone else, it could be. Would be nice to have a silicone plug/spacer, so no matter how you use the light, it stays waterproof. The only other down side, was that though the flashlight came with tiny holes for a wrist strap, it didn’t come with one.

I’ve made do, with a really old wrist strap from a small camera. Totally recommend this flashlight. I don’t know about how long it really lasts per charge, as I’ve only used it once or twice per walk, and keep it with me for safety sake, I’m happy with it.

This is the 1st rechargeable LED light I’ve owned. Along with the benefit of a rechargeable battery that’s also replaceable, and the spot/flood adjustment, I like that this light has 3 output levels.

The light is definitely brighter than the commonly available 3 AAA cell lights I have owned. But while I the “Turbo” setting is noticeably brighter than “high”, the manufacturer’s claim of 1800 lumen output in turbo mode seems a bit far-fetched.

Two improvements I would definitely make are: 1. Change the USB micro charging port to USB “C”. And 2. Replace the completely useless “pocket clip” with one that doesn’t immediately fail to simply hold itself onto the light.

The clip is apparently made of an alloy of the softest, most malleable metals known to man. which should be named “unmaintainium” for it’s inability to maintain it’s own shape. Seriously. I have paper clips that are much harder to bend.

I bought this flashlight for its brightness & because it can be recharged instead of buying packs of AA batteries. The flashlight has two different settings; super-bright & bright. Plus, the light can be focused from a wide-light area into a more direct light by twisting the top up & down.

However, the flashlight will not light up sometimes as if the LED bulb connection is just a hair off. And when the light does finally come on sometimes it will flicker on & off while in use, which is frustrating.

I’m not sure how to tighten the LED bulb for a better connection. But that is a huge downside for this seeming rugged flashlight, which I plan on returning for a new one.

If you need a flashlight that brings a lot of functionality to a small form factor, this is a good choice. There are smaller and sleeker options available. This one is fairly compact around the shaft but widens out a good bit at the head (haha).

That said, I’ve carried this in a few different pants and shorts with varying pocket sizes with no problem. If you just want it to turn on or off with a single button press, that is an option with this light but it’s far from the only option.

Numerous patterns are available: strobe, SOS, and more. The solid light modes are anywhere from relatively dim (which will last a good long time on a full charge) all the way up to a rather impressive 1,600 lumens.

I had to read the manual three times before I’d memorized how to access everything with the one-button interface. The value for money is excellent with this light.

Awesome light for the $$. The noticeable hotspot on high seems to throw well, but is very small at close distance. Thee rest of the light is better for close-up engagement, and your lower brightness settings are better for close-up as well.

It’s a bit bulky for EDC, for those interested, but that’s not why I bought this. 4 star because there are way too many modes for this light. No one is going to train in the specifics of this light and all the different modes and levels within modes, so getting users caught in dance-party modes isn’t a plus.

Battery removal and charging got me back to the standard high-low-medium mode.
