I purchased this product with the intention that it was a game. I must have overlooked the print of it being an add on it’s not a game. Meaning you can download fortnite for free and this is for you to add more product to your character.

I’m glad I had bought other games along with this. My kid still liked it. If you are looking for this product Walmart again has the best price vs all other retailers. Keep in mind it is only an add on.

Typically 24. 99 on the game or in stores however I found it on clearance at Walmart for 16 dollars and it was well worth it! Multiple skins, coins to buy other stuff, and accessories. No actual disk it’s just a code in a case.

Fortnite in general is a great game for parents to enjoy with their kids!.

got game for my son for Christmas and watched him open it up with so much excitement but there was a problem the disk itself was missing. The insert was there but no disk. With walmarts policy of if the seal has been broke there is nothing that can be done basically that leaves us having to buy it again and pray the next one has a disk inside.

First off, I want to let anybody know who might be purchasing this as a gift to know that this isn’t an actual game but items and currency that can be redeemed within the game Fortnite itself, which is a free-to-play game.

I’ve seen confused parents and grandparents ask about this, so I want to clear that up now. If you’re an avid player of Fortnite, and if you find this on sale like I did, it’s not a bad purchase, especially for the 1000 V-bucks that are included.

It also comes with three character skins, and various skins for pickaxes and gliders. The most odd part is that it’s sold in a game case; it’s literally a Switch game case with the code on a piece of paper inside.

But, it’s at least a spare case in the event you need to store a game cartridge inside of it.

What a great pack! Loved dropping into Chapter 3 wearing my Minty Aura. Other skins are good, Oro really fits in well with the mint effect. Brite Bomber also looks pretty cool. Gifted my friend the battle pass with the VBucks as I already had it.

I expect these skins to be really popular around Christmas time and in the coming month or so. The other Cosmetics in the pack go great with other minty skins (Codename E. L. F, etc. ). Really recommend pack if you like Fortnite, or as a gift for someone you know who does.

Reading is fundamental. I almost returned this game after my daughter opened it on Christmas because the cartridge wasn’t in there. It wasn’t until I took the time and looked over the game case. Be sure to download the original game before adding this game.

The gameplay is really nice. Endgame is very lacking, and I’m using the term “end” very loosely here. It’s actually halfway the game where it already dries up. It’s early access though, so I didn’t take that into account for the score.

95% of your progression is either time-gated, or pay-gated. So if you don’t want to spend money, prepare for the biggest timegates of your life. Without spending money, you’ll be able to earn the equivalent of 50 cents per day in Llamas, Fortnite’s version of Loot crates like in CS:GO or Dota 2.

Except here it’s not cosmetics that drop from them, but real items. Items that can be trashed instantly or are the best item you will never replace. Or somewhere in between. I wouldn’t say it’s Pay-to-Win, but it’s definitely a huge help to spend a lot of money.

They’re currently working on it, and to be fair to Epic, they’re frequently pushing patches to fix a lot of annoying bugs. Or cool bugs that make some maps tolerable (because some map designs are horrible).

The gameplay is extremely well done though and, in my opinion, more than makes up for a lot of shortcomings. Just not enough. Unless you’re into crazy grindy games like me, skip this one for the foreseeable future.

This is a pretty Simple game unless like me, you aren’t a good builder due to the fact that building IS a huge part of this, it can be an issue (lol). My favorite thing about this game is that it is or can be if you choose a “Multi-Player” game meaning that I can make my/our teams with my real life friends family.

I play with my brother and nephews and my niece, that live in a different State and it literally makes it feel like they are right there. For myself- it’s a bonding time as well. 🕹🎮 Personally, I don’t consider it to be violent only because it’s not real life crime to me.

I don’t consider it real life violence. However, I consider more as a cartoon violence so it really depends on personal preference. I find this game fun for most and VERY interactive. Unfortunately, my hands are weak (arthritis) so sadly, it can make playing very hard especially again, the building! I’m not good @ Building things my attention spans really sucks, lol ( probably does for many others).

BUT I would recommend to most and will always play on and off! ENJOY! 🎯.

I’ve been playing this game for over 4 years now and it’s the most innovative, creative and on vogue game that I’ve ever played. More appropriate for 13+ ages. Game constantly updating avatars and game play, adding variety and diverse ideas and themes.

Developers do listen to their players and you don’t have to spend a cent to play it since downloading the game and online interactions like multiplayer is Free! Game combines shooting and building modes which makes it challenging.

Avatar modifications are always creative and stylish. I do recommend this game but now for little kids, although there’s no gory materials nor foul language from game, the adult online interactions are almost impossible to control.

First, our grandson loved this. He got the extra “bling” for his character. The problem is that he wanted more. The makers of Fortnite understand the reward center of the brain and the need for children, especially those with ADHD, to get instantaneous rewards.

For V-bucks, which is essentially cash, you get accessories and dancing characters. Children want their characters to be like and to do what their friends’ characters do. Our grandson used his saved money for this.

To make a character “dance” you have to buy more V-Bucks. We think that it is predatory of the company to use obsession and instantaneous rewards to make their profit. At our house now, you must do an hour of reading and an hour working on Scouting to get one hour of Fortnite.

We hope to eventually wean him off of Fortnite. I wonder how many parents will agree.

Thank you Fortnite for creating character skins that my son ALWAYS wants and, therefore, we need to buy these things for every birthday and holiday. I am only being a little sarcastic. It does make shopping easy.

However, buying something for a game that does NOTHING to actually help his game feels a bit odd. But that is the life we live in these days. Besides my ranting, the process to make this card turn into V-Bucks in the game is relatively simple.

Got a few of these for my sons that love playing Fortnite. There is not much to say it’s a gift card. The problem is applying this card to there accounts. These cards must go through a third party website to be linked to their Fortnite accounts.

It was not difficult just took more steps than I would have liked. One of my sons didn’t have an account with the third party so I have to go through the steps to do that before loading the GC. You would have less hassle with just getting specific system gift cards like switch or psn.

My kids used their own saving to buy this game. After they downloaded it, they were surprised to learn that they need to buy a membership as well with monthly fee 11$. This was not mentioned anywhere.

This disonesty was shocking for them. Now I need to find out how to get the money back. A am not very optimistic about the outcome.

I had no idea an xbox live gold subscription is required to play Fortnite on xbox, at least not until I received the game. It doesn’t state this on your website. Maybe it’s common knowledge amongst gamers.

But if your not a gamer and just shopping for a gamer, it’d be nice to know before purchasing the game.

Ordering this was extremely easy and cheap compared to other prices. Unlike others my code was sent to my email in 25 minutes. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a bunch of great items for a low cost.

But before buying make sure you have xbox live gold which lets you play online.

This is by far the best online multi player game there is. The graphics are very nice. You can Talk to others while you play online in live action. For any ages to play has a great community and very well priced.

I would recommend any one to play.

I brought this for my Son’s last Christmas. Then my youngest son has asked for it this Christmas. My boys loved it ,you get skins and vbucks to spend.

I give this product NO STARS because it didn’t deliver what my grandson expected. I bought this particular Nintendo Switch game for him, but when he opened the case there was no cartridge. Instructions were complicated and it took HOURS to download.

He still hasn’t been able to play with this Christmas gift. He’s disappointed. I’m disappointed!.

It’s a digital code which you should get within an hour like other retailers. But guess what! Not at Best Buy! Avoid Best Buy for digital codes the wait isn’t worth it. It’s almost been 12 hours and still no code.

I should of known when I googled about it and people have horror stories about getting their codes. If I get my code by the 12 hour mark I’ll change my review otherwise stick with other retailers like target.

Target gets you these codes within 10 minutes!.

I love shopping at bestbuy, the store always has v-bucks gift cards on hand. Most importantly i keep a redeemable card on hand incase the in game store isn’t working. I never want my son to miss out on an emote or skin thats available.

Greatest part is you can always use your bestbuy card to complete your purchase. If youre a gamer like me and my son, you will have a V- bucks gift card on hand. If you love best buy as much as i do.
