I bought a demarini for my then 12yo son playing travel ball, had great pop right out if the wrapper, used for 1 month and then cracked in several places, so they sent me a voucher for replacement. We waited for this Meta to come out to use the voucher.

Once again great pop right out of the gate, literally the first tournament of summer, second game, he hit a ball and it sounded odd, so we checked it out after he came off the field. Sure enough the bat had a long crack down the barrel.

Im upset because we pay a lot of money for these bats, and the quality of them should match that! So now we are just out of a bat and money, because I can’t send a replacement bat back! My son is upset because he was hitting great with this bat! And I don’t have another $400 to buy him another bat! Please fix this issue so I don’t regret buying my son good bats from you guys!.

I purchased this bat for my 10 year old son in June while waiting for Marucci warranty replacement. We went through proper break-in process, and performed great for a month. Then all of sudden it showed small crack, then it completely busted.

I was surprised and disappointed only because Meta’s reputation is they are very durable (for composite), but this provided by far the shortest life span out of all composite bats we’ve ever owned (Cat Composite and CF lasted us about 11 months), but Meta gave us less than 2 months).

Currently going through warranty process, but now I’m hesitant to get another Meta. Speaking with an associate at Dick’s Sporting Goods, I’m told Meta is easily the one that most customers (try to) return/complain for durability issue.

I am torn because my son prefers composite bat, but I would hate to get one if it will break in 2 months. and next one will be my warranty-replacement bat, so if it goes wrong (again) I’m out of $$.

My son (13) used the -8 and absolutely loved it. This bat and the 2021 version are the perfect blend of great pop and a light and balanced swing weight. My son had the 2021 version and it broke within weeks.

So we got the new 2022 version through a warranty replacement. Unfortunately, the 2022 bat didn’t last half of a season. We were very smart about using both bats and only used them in weather above 60 degrees, never at a cage, and very rarely during BP.

My son used his alloy bat for low temps and almost every time he hit outside of a game. So, two META bats, both great, but both very fragile even when they were used for game use only for the most part.

Hopefully, the (-5) is more durable.

We’ve had a couple months now in fall ball to work with these bats in my travel baseball organization. I’ve not had any negative feedback or reviews. The bat very balanced, as most players say it feels lighter than the same size bat they swing in other brands meaning great weight distribution.

It has a ton of pop right out of the wrapper and continues to get hotter. Also seems to be very durable. We’ve left some in the facility for our players to use during indoor workouts and they love them.

I also feel most parents are comfortable with the price point due to what they are getting in quality. I can also say that the bat seems to be Equally balanced with great pop throughout all lengths and weights, I know some youth bats seem to be hotter in certain sizes than others but this one has been consistent across-the-board.

The product information details all the scientific innovations that made this bat possible. As a parent of a baseball kid, I don’t think reciting that information will be helpful. What I can say is that this bat definitely lives up to the hype, so to speak.

The larger barrel and inner core help to enlarge the sweet spot for hitting. The handle fits and feels just right, and my son has really seen his hitting improve. This bat feels light but is still sturdy and sized to make power hits.

My son is overjoyed with his new bat. I truly do feel that this is a product that all the technology utilized in the construction add up to make a bat that provides a noticeable uptick in performance and range.

I gave the bat 3 stars because as a baseball bat it is very good. I know it is a very popular bat, that is what helped me get my eyes on it. The bat was in great condition when I bought it, I was very impressed with the grip.

The handle was very easy to handle and grip. I have had this bat for 6 months and I absolutely loved it for the time being. It helped me get some very good hits. The ounces and length of the bat were perfect.

It did not feel to light or too heavy. This is deffienently a 3 star bat and only 3 stars. Everything was perfect but the durability. I had this bat for 6 months and only 6 months and went dull. Usually bats last me 1-2 years.

This bat was too good to be true. The bat cracked during a game. I was recommended this bat because of the durability. It did not last me long at all. I just don’t feel like spending $250 on a bat every 6 months.

It was everything I wanted just simply does not last long enough. I would not Recommend this to a friend just because of the durability. If they don’t mind spending $250 dollars every 6 months then this is the bat for you.

Extremely well short term NOT long term.

This bat is a world of difference from his other bat, different brand. This is our first time buying a Marucci. My son is hitting the ball with a higher exit speed and more distance. He really noticed the expanded sweet spot.

As far as the vibration goes, way less than anything he has hit with before. He said he has felt no uncomfortable sting and he has hit the ball outside of the sweet spot.

So far so good. We have only used in cage off the tee, soft toss and some light pitching. I can’t say how the pop off of the barrel will translate on a 60/90 field however my son likes it over the voodoo as it is more balanced and not end loaded.

My son is more of a line drive and contact hitter than a power hitter so the bat suits him well. Looking to purchase a bbcor drop 3 as well.

Purchased this bat for our son who plays at the collegiate level. First front soft toss BP session on HS field in Colorado (90+ degree weather). Probably the most live bat we have ever had. Son was hitting bombs.

But then about 60-70 swings in, the bat started to rattle when holding upside down and slightly tapping the knob/handle on the grass. Decided to swing again and something appeared to snap back into place.

No more rattle and the bat was live again. Started to research the warranty information because that rattle gave us concern and sounded like a broken wood bat or dead metal. We should have video taped it but forgot in the moment.

If it happens again, we’ll capture via video.

I bought the goods drop 5 for little league. In my opinion alloy bats are better for little league, exit velos, and durability. I personaly think the weight of this bat because it is balnced feels like a 30” drop 8 cat 9 composite, i highly recommened this bat instead of a 350 dollar easton adv or demarini cf little league bat.

comparing this to the adv you get more oppotaco power and drive the ball in the gaps. I have personally have hit 6 home runs with this bat in 12 games with the fences being 215 feet all around.

Bought this bat a week ago and after two days of my son using it in batting practice for his travel team it is dented in the sweet spot of the barrel. My son is 11 and swings a 30/20. He’s not a power hitter and hits primarily singles and doubles, so not sure if we just got a bad bat or its a durability/quality issue.

Great bat with excellent pop out of the wrapper. My son loves it. just disappointing the durability might not be there.

I recently upgraded my 8 yr old son (big boy) from a drop 10 to this drop 8 (29/21) and he is handling the extra weight with no issues. Took him to cages twice and twice to field and he is hitting bombs with this bat.

The bat has great pop for the price. Very balanced and the color way is really cool looking. For the price I highly recommend this bat. He will be using this bat for practice and his cat9 (also drop 8) for games.

Baseball savings shipped/delivered extremely quick and the price was awesome.

My 8 year old son swings this pretty well. He’s swinging a 30/20. When he barrels it up, no vibrations. Hit on the handle or end cap, he feels it. I don’t see that as a problem. I see that as reinforcement to make sure you hit the ball with the barrel.

I mean you really only have to touch a hot stove once to learn that lesson. All kidding aside, for $100, he really enjoys it. He’s hitting balls at hit trax coming into him at 30mph exit velocity between 61-63mph so there is pop there.

Only had bat for 5 days and something came loose inside the barrel. Loud rattling noise. About 10 hits on bat when this happened. We own 4 other Marucci bats of varying sizes from black F5 to Cat 9 connect and all have been good so far.

Disappointed now I have to pay to ship this bat back to Marucci for hopefully a warranty replacement. This is only my sons practice bat but now we will be without for who knows how long. Should be able to return to store.

The bat is a 31/26 -5 despite what the title says. I was not expecting to have to buy my son a new bat until next spring, but due to the team’s manager making the decision to play up a grade this fall, his 31/23 drop 8 LS META, also a great bat in the Wilson family, can’t be used.

In 2020 he used a 2019 CF -10 USSSA to great success, so we thought we would try a DeMarini again. The new 2021 CF -5 USSSA is as expected. It’s less severe drop and more end loaded feel will take some time to get accustomed to.

The bat’s weight is a little over 26 ounces per my scale. The bat does pack a lot of punch and is decently forgiving on balls not quite barreled up. So far he has used it in one cage BP session and at 14U tryouts, so as expected of a composite, it is not yet fully broken in.

Even still, it does perform and he commented that it is a good bat. He is on the smaller side, but on the verge of hitting bombs and is going to work on putting on some more lean mass this off season.

By this next spring the 3 ounces increase will be a good thing.

For the past several years our softball club has used Demarini bats for all age groups. Each year we place girls at all levels from PAC-12 to NAIA. This year we started our first baseball team for 12u boys.

I have two boys on the team and we are now on our fourth Demarini bat. Since practice started in February the boys have broke 4 of the bats. They don’t use the bats in the cold and I make sure they take care of them since I have been paying for them.

I was so frustrated after the last one we switched one of the boys to Easton. We are now debating switching the entire club to Easton. The warranty has been good and the first bat is replaced in a timely fashion.

It is just extremely frustrating to have them break so frequently.

The bat is exactly what my son was hoping for, but my review is around the wonderful customer service I received in placing this order. We had recently been scammed in a bat purchase and the BB rep was so kind to ensure our service was top notch and that we would, in fact, receive this bat within days after our order.

My 8yr old has been hitting the Easton Quantum bat for a couple of seasons and it’s been a fine bat thats gotten the job done. His swing has progressed nicely and he has outgrown the Quantum. Now the fun part, the Maxum Ultra bat is absolutely hands down a better bat in every way! Feel, balance and pop is light years ahead of the Quantum.

My sons words were, “wow dad, this thing hits smokers and I don’t even feel it. ” It’s funny how a good bat can instill confidence in a kid. Yes it’s expensive, but investing in something my kid excels at is part of it.

Do it, you won’t regret it!.

Purchased for my 8 yr old. He has used it 5 or 6 times. One oz heavier than his previous bat. He tells me that it feels lighter, I’m guessing because of the balanced weight. He tells me that he can swing harder because it does not hurt his hands.

Purchased over a more popular Easton as it is stiffer and one pcs. I did not want him to move from a stiff bat to something one the opposite hand of the spectrum. Thinking that the one pcs will give us durability.

Time will tell.

Review of the Easton Maxum lineup…. Don’t buy them. The bat has a lot of pop, I won’t dispute that BUT when you buy a bat use it for 3 months playing time and it breaks…. That’s bad. When you use the warranty replacement for another 3 months and it breaks too….

THAT’S REALLY BAD and probably a bad bat design. When you try to point that out to EASTON and they tell you it’s not their problem… 6 months usage for a $400 bat … THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!!! My son has teammates on his travel team and high school team that have been using the same high dollar bats from other manufacturers for YEARS that still have the advertised pop as when they bought it and no one on either team has ever heard of 2 bats of the same model breaking in 6 months without a defect but I hope everyone reads my reviews so that you won’t also be a victim of @Eastonbaseball and their extremely poor customer service on a poorly made product.

My 13U son hit over. 500 this season and still hit many home runs, deep gap doubles, and lead the team in RBIs. Kids with end loaded bats were whiffing against higher level tournament pitching. This bat has plenty of pop and a balanced swing weight for optimum control.

Not just for contact hitters! Why not hit for average and power?.

My son loves the Solo. IMO it’s the best one piece alloy USSSA bat line on the market. Balanced swing with tons of pop out of the wrapper. Less vibration on mis-hits than more expensive bats with anti vibration tech.

I always buy direct from LS because I have been burned by DOA out of spec bats from third party vendors.

Bought this for my 8yo when his Easton maxum cracked. Great feel and pop out of the wrapper. Largest sweet spot of any bat we’ve measured. Very minimal stinging. Maxum warranty came in the mail a month ago and he decided to stick the solo JBB.

4 other kids started using it with very positive results. Highly underrated and solid bat.

My son is 8 years old, 4’7” and is swinging 29” bats. We are big axe bat fans. My son hits absolute bombs with the 2022 hero and he wanted to try a carbon axe bat. The Avenge Pro is a great bat. No vibration on end hits and it performs very well.

But he and I both notice that he hits farther with his hero. We’ve had the Avenge Pro for awhile now and been giving it a chance before writing a review. The pop just isn’t there compared to aluminum Axe Bats.

Don’t get me wrong…. it’s a great bat. But Axe aluminum bats are HOT. I’ve been worrying about them being de-certified at some point. Hopefully they won’t be.

Our 9U son swings both the Axe Avenge and Avenge Pro. Both USSSA rated 28/18. Both have even weight distribution. The Avenge Pro is slightly heavier with a tad more end cap weight. Both are nice out of the wrapper.

BUT the composite really really comes alive after around a thousand hits or so. Both have held up superbly under year long select ball.

I read a ton of reviews before spending the money on a new bat. My son needed to move from -10 to -8 and we saw how great the reviews were for the Axe AvengePro so decided to give it a shot. Reviews didn’t lie! Bat feels great and my son has hit his first 2 homers ever!! We’re excited for this summer to say the least.

Purchased this bat for 10 /11 year old who is on the travel team. Worked on his swing all winter. Combine the bat and the swing, he’s nuking the ball!

Great intro t-ball bat. My son is just getting started and this is small and light enough to be a good starter.

My son had to ice his hands after first practice. Vibration was unbearable and he quit swinging

We have a 7-year old who is 50″ tall, weighing 57 pounds. So, he’s relatively tall, but has a slight build. He currently plays coach/machine pitch in Little League. We really struggled last year finding a good bat for him.

The 26″ -13 (T-Ball) bats seemed a little short, but with the weight issues we all experienced last year, a 27″ -12 was too heavy. With a 2 1/2″ barrel, this bat seems to fit perfectly in the space that was created when we were forced to transition to the USA Bats.

We purchased both a 27″ and 28″. He said the 27″ feels better, and his swing looks better, so the 28″ may be just a bit too long/heavy for him right now. He may grow into the 28″, but when he does, we’re not sure if we want to be in the -13 space so we’ll probably end up returning the 28″ and figure out what to do when he gets bigger.

I think this would be a perfect bat for a younger/smaller child in coach pitch or even first year in LL Minors.

Bought this bat for my 14 y/o son after trying several sample bats in the cage at baseball express. Marucci cat 9 connect, LS Meta, LS select PWR, warsrick bone saber, victims Nox to name a few. After the first trip he narrowed it down to 3 bats, with the initial impression being the hzrdus.

Since it’s a newer bat we let it simmer for about a month, did online research etc. , Went back, grabbed the top 3. Second impression hzrdus without a doubt. It checked all the boxes, not too end loaded, gave him a consistent swing, able to control barrel and drive the ball.

Ultimately likes the feel, said it was like swinging a wood bat. Added bonus. free pair of baring gloves when we registered the bat for the warranty on the True website.

One thing about this bat that I really like is that it’s value is much above its price. This bat hits the ball harder than most bbcores. But the thing that really makes me believe that this is one of the best bats today is the sweet spot.

I took a few swings with it but every time I swing and I thought I was about to get jammed it still hit the ball unbelievably hard. I totally recommend this bat for someone who’s not a contact hitter but not a power hitter, somewhere in between.

My son decided to go with the 33. 5″ instead of the 33″ he swings with his Goods. He is hitting the ball harder and swinging the bat faster. Durability seems to be better than the goods and he loves the free pair of batting gloves! As an added bonus, it matches my hzrdus driver shaft.

My son loves this bat. Its definitely built for speed. Theres minimal vibration through the handle which is uncommon in a one piece bat. Seems to have good pop. He has been swinging a regular Easton Ghost X USSSA 30 (-10) for the last year.

Took this one to the cages right away and he loves it already. Great value for the price.

Great composite bat for my son who is playing 9U. We need a bit longer bat and the drop 12 helps keep really good bat speed. Balls jump off the barrel of these USSSA stamped bats. Love it.

This was a top tier bat 2 years ago and still performs on a level with the latest models. Find a new or lightly used one and you’ll get the best value ever in a baseball bat.

I wanted to buy the best bat we could afford, not only to give my son every advantage in the batters box, but because it was for his 11th birthday. When we picked up the bat with the wrapper on, the swing weight and the fact that it was an Easton, instantaneously sold us.

Even though there were other bats with the same weight, it felt lighter and quicker though the box. This is definitely due to the two piece carbon and aluminum construction. However, when he got home to try it out with the wrapper off, we immediately noticed how damp the bat was.

Acoustically this bat sounds disgusting an ineffective, like you’re hitting a water logged ball. The bat dampens WAY too much and, my son who is the lead off hitter, couldn’t get the ball out of the infield.

His teammates, the 3 and 4 hitters, we’re excited to try it out and found the same issues with the bat. We obviously are still ck with this bat but have since purchased an all aluminum bat from another company.

Our ADV 360 will be used for bunting and cage work. This is the worst purchase I have made in a really long time.

I bought this for my 12 year old as a Christmas present. I was slightly worried seeing some of the negative reviews about the end cap and this was our first time purchasing the $350 dollar bat. We started off with soft toss and some tee work as I had read some reviews saying that is the recommended process.

The next day we hit the cage and field. My son is our lead off hitter. He hits well but has never left the yard. He hit 8 out of 25 balls out of the park the first time swinging it on a field. The ball really jumps off the bat.

Square it up on the barrel and it will fly. So glad we upgraded.

The bat was hot right out of the wrapper. My 11 year old hit a grand slam and a single home run. However, only 4 months old and the barrel is cracked. Looks like a spider web. It also is loose where the barrel meets the handle.

I have owned nothing by Easton products for my travel ball playing son and daughter; however, if this is the durable product that Easton is going to sell, I might as well buy a DeMarini. The sad part about it is that I have trusted in this company for years so I didn’t keep the receipt and now I am out of luck.

my kid is on the small side. 4’11, 76 lbs and a very young 13u. Moving to -8 (required) was a minor concern. Bought this bat on a whim as something to use during fall ball, as a hold over until we decide if we were going to go CatX or Zoa again.

He’s got both in -10, but it turns out he hits this better than either of them! took him about 5 swings get over the fact that it wasn’t a “household name” bat, and the grin on his face said it all. Loves the stiff/balanced one-piece feel, huge barrel, great sweet spot, and has pop for days.

Coaches love seeing the Combat name again, it’s always a conversation starter and he loves having a bat that is a little mysterious. Looks awesome. Swings awesome. Price is awesome. The backstory on the B2 Ultra is awesome.

I don’t get what some of these people are talking about. The bat looks good, feels good, and swings very light. It’s a perfect bat for someone going into their first year of BBCOR or a bottom of the lineup hitter.

The sweep spot is a good size. BARREL SIZE AND SWEET SPOT SIZE ARE NOT THE SAME THING!!! I hear people make this mistake all the time. The bat does kinda look like a cone but the sweet spot is actually pretty big.

You get some vibration on miss hits but because it is a BBCOR bat it isn’t terrible. The bate tape is meh but I don’t notice it once I put on batting gloves.

The pop, balance, and PING is why you buy this bat. The sound of this bat is a beautiful aluminum sound that draws attention to the hitter. If you don’t like a loud sound on contact then hit with wood.

Very Balanced, it lets you know if you hit it well, has the same general shape as a wood bat and gives you the same feedback as a wood bat. Multiple miss-hits will make you better at finding the barrel.

Sometimes it’s not just about “pop”. In terms of exit velo/distance, this bat performs as it should. like a high-end, alloy USSSA bat with honest response and power. What made my son go back to the Solo again and again over multiple seasons was the way this bat swings and feels.

Sweet spot is not huge, but very balanced with great barrel control. Nice factory grip with a slight knob taper. Excellent choice for gap hitters. If you want a bat that magically adds 40′ to every hit and/or turns weak fly balls in to HRs, look elsewhere.

If you like swing speed, doubles, and value. you found your bat.

31 tournament games this spring and 3 practices a week. No dents and still pops. My son is a 70lb 10U and swings the 28in. Could go bigger but it’s all about bat speed. He’s hit dingers on a 210ft fence with the solo.

Actually chose it over his cf composite in the HR derby last week and had a great round. A no brainer for the price point.

What a great bat – my 12 year old swings a 32 drop 8 Meta. At such a great deal we went with the 32 drop 10 Prime as a back up bat. Needless to say he went 3 for 3 – back to back home runs and a double with the Prime!.

This is our first experience with a plastic bat. Not sure if we like it yet. The crack sound is definitely different and more dull. The bat does have a bite on the harder hits. Makes me wish I bought a 2-piece model instead.

It is much lighter. Swings very fast. Very good weight distribution on the swing. That part is perfect and helps attain better swing velocity. The paint coating chipped in one spot very early on while we were breaking it in.

The sweet spot is huge, perhaps a little too huge and hinders accuracy. I am glad we tried it. It is useful to try it and to learn to use it. Whether this would be the perfect bat for us right now, remains to be seen.

Our batting coach (former MLB hitter) likes it too, or so he says.

Bought for my 8 yr old grandson. We had done some research pryer to purchasing. I really hesitated paying the price but the smile and confidence makes me happy.

We bought this bat at the beginning of the year for a part-time travel team (8U). We noticed that the bat was “dead” after 8 games and just before the team’s big tournament. Very disappointed that it didn’t even last a full season.

Just some background info. I have been doing extensive research on bats for my son for years. He has had the Several Louisville bats, the Quattro, last year he had the Easton Ghost X Hyperlite, and this year we went with this one.

I’ve always done major research and have bought a tons of bats On to the Easton ADV. So this is my sons first USSSA bat in years. Rec ball went to USA but this year we are jumping to travel ball. And there is NO DOUBT this bat is the real deal! My son bats about 3-4 times a week.

So we have a very calculated average on his hitting habits. This bat has EASILY added 10-20 feet to ball travel. Zero hand sting even with no batting gloves. Perfect balanced weight. He’s 9 and we went 29/19.

This is the best bat I have seen in 3 years hands down Put durability at a 2 because it’s too early to tell. Our Easton Beast last year got a huge dent from an 8 yr old in about 2 games.

My 9 year old received a 30/20 as a gift, and I thought it might be a bit big for him, but he immediately started hitting really well with it. By the time it was broken in, he started hitting homers for the first time on a 175 foot field – even getting 6 at one practice.

Unfortunately the bat developed a wobble pretty quickly and probably lost about 10-15% of its pop. Easton was very accommodating about a warranty replacement, since it was a gift and we didn’t have a receipt.

I recommend the bat, but just make sure your kid isn’t tossing it or banging it on the ground, because it can develop that wobble.
