20 Best Utensils For Cooking (2022 Updated)

Ive been looking forever for silicone utensils that didnt have floppy or wooden handles, floppy are hard too cook with and you can never get wood clean and it splits easily. These are perfect, strong and very cleanable! Easy to work with , excellent quality.

These are great. Except the holder should be a little bigger for all the utensils to fit. Easy to clean.

Very handy set to have on the counter. I added a few more wooden spoons to the box to round out the selection. The sort of fork-like and slotted spoonish ones work together to make salad serving efficient.

I stirred a big pan of grits with the flat square-ended spatula this morning. Worked nice, producing a pile of yellow grits for my breakfast, with a nice batch of leftovers to make fried grits squares for lunch with my Lady.

Menu- Green Chili Meatloaf, Fried Yellw Grits, and sliced tomatoes with salt, pepper, and herbs de provence. Yes indeed. I really like the bamboo box to contain this set. With a quart mason jar nearby to hold ladles and dipping spoons, I feel as well equipped as I ought to be.

This bamboo utensil holder comes with 6 different bamboo cooking utensils (like spatula, slotted spoon etc) which I use frequently. Placed it on my kitchen counter so it’s readily accessible and it holds all the utensils and more! Love how simple and elegant it looks in my kitchen.

Lovely, light weight. The box is big enough to chose an item without tipping. We oiled them with organic Olive Oil and are more happy with that then food grade mineral oil. Thnx ~

Looking forward to using them. Appears to be high quality. I will only use silicone when cooking verses plastic or metal. I gave a 4 star because the holder for these utensils is extremely thin and cheap plastic.

I think the negative views listed are quite unfair. When was combining plastic and high heat ever a good idea? So, no, don’t rest these implements on the edge of a red-hot saucepan or frying pan. They are fine to stir with, to lift and drain – e.

g. vegetables – from a pot; even to stir stir-frying food. When put to the side they rest neatly on their little stands, leaving your counter top free from mess. They are colourful (we have the multi-coloured set), and will brighten up any kitchen.

They may discolour when exposed to strong colourants, but we have never experienced this. We bought ours ages ago, and have been using them, constantly, ever since. We love them. I have also given at least half a dozen sets to friends and relatives, and they go down extremely well – as an unusual and useful present.

Mostly, I give the coloured ones – but gave the metal ones to a relative who prefers things plain. I don’t hesitate to recommend these: ignore the nay-sayers: just don’t do anything stupid with them.

I had bought a single tool with the little kick stand and my wife melted it. That was when I realized it had become my favorite spatula. The spatula is my go to cooking tool so this had to be remedied.

I went searching for a quality replacement and came across this entire collection of kick stand tools. I have no counter space so the stand is still in the box stowed away, but the tools are being used daily.

These tools are hefty because they are weighted on the handle to keep them from falling on the working end but it is a pleasant heft and they work very well. There are other cheaper versions out there, but I am glad I paid the extra and got quality tools.

The ones I have used have so far shown no wear or warping despite scraping sausage grease stuck to a skillet or stirring boiling oatmeal. The colors matter little to me except for quickly identifying the tool I want.

There is not too much to say because the tools just do what tools do and do it well without melting on the tip or wilting from the heat or discoloring or staining. I am well pleased.

Love the caddy and design that includes a rest built into each utensil. There are 2 flaws that resulted in my rating at 1 star; if not for these it would be 5 stars. First, the utensils all fall apart where the colored handle meets the gray part.

They got water inside them even though the description says dishwasher safe, and eventually they all fell apart which makes them completely unusable. The second flaw is they are impossible to clean. Dishwashing really doesn’t work as they take a lot of scrubbing.

They discolored too, but we could deal with that if they came clean. I don’t have my receipt so no luck for me with warranty coverage, I suppose. For the price I was expecting a lot better from this set.

We really liked them despite the cleaning issue until they also fell apart. We were fans of this brand but now will hesitate to invest in their products.

Wrote many reviews but was never lucky to win anything, but anyway I love any thing Lecrueset, 5 piece utensils is beautiful, sit on the counter near the stove. I have used it many times, very functional, and protect my cookware from scratches.

Comes apart easily for washing.

This was a perfect buy for my tiny kitchen, and would make a great housewarming gift! All the items I ordered together were packaged wonderfully, and arrived before it was even supposed to ship. A pleasant surprise!.

Literally everything le crueset does is perfect. This utensil croc is so cute, and makes a lovely addition to my kitchen. I have also purchased the matching butter dish and salt crock as well and love them equally.

These are literally so nice and weighted and luxury and I’m so grateful to have found this set for this price. I was literally about to order another set that came with less for $10 more because that was the best I could find but this a rare, amazing find.

The Utensil set was fine for the cost. Nice set that does the job and is affordable. Long handles for large pots, handle holes to hang on hooks.

This is a a nice plastic set but my ring that is supposed to hold them broke after the first day. I can still use the utensils but having the ring to hold them all together was nice. The utensils work well and are great for nonstick pans.

They are safe for dishwashers. They are light and easy to use. A nice set at a great value.

These are the only sturdy utensils I’ve owned….for what I’m willing to pay. I can actually lift or stir LARGE HEAVY portions of food without the spoons or spatulas bending.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this 7 pc cooking utensils. It wasn’t expensive so I didn’t expect much. I have never purchased utensils with such high quality at a decent price. They are light weight, but sturdy.

Utensils are great and not made of cheap material. Handle on it feels smooth and very sturdy feel to it. I use them everyday and as a skeptic I would highly recommend this set. Only downfall for me is waiting almost 2 weeks to get them, there’s got to be a faster way to deliver your products!!.

Utensils are firm, not floppy like the all plastic ones. They have stainless in the business end, making the handle end lighter than the ladle end, making spills less likely. How often have you put the spoon into a pot, let go of the handle, and watched the spoon flip out of the pot because the handles are heavier than the other end? Has this gotten you burned yet? Not with these!.

I have never even held kitchen utensils of this quality. they are absolutely beautiful, sturdy, and pretty enough to be displayed. I bought a chartreuse green flower pot and enlarged the top of it, so as to hold the lovely purple items on display.

I am more than satisfied with them and recommend the set to anyone who favors purple!!!.

I love the colors. My husband wants to hang them up rather than put them in a drawer. I’ve used them quite a bit and they don’t lose their color. I’m very glad I got them. I had never heard of a spurtle until I received this so I had to look it up.

Love this set of utensils! I bought it to replace my first set of Joseph Joseph utensils, that I had for many years. The slick, space-saving “Nest” design is awesome. I keep it beside my stove, so it’s convenient and saves space in my kitchen drawers.

Love the look and quality of the utensils. Would be 5 stars but the magnetic design is a little impractical if you need to grab a spatula quickly whilst cooking. I should very well have considered that before buying but went with look over function!.

Excellent item with a good range of utensils and pleasing colour combination. Be careful of grabbing a utensil too quickly as they will all fly off the stand and clatter onto your worktop. They do look stylish in comparison to my old bundle of utensils that were in a jug and overall we’re happy with them.

Great product that does what they are meant to. Spatula that can scrape stuck on food and flip everything and all the other utensils are working perfect.

I was able to replace a drawer full of utensils for these great, versatile cooking utensils. I love the silicone material and that they can go in the dishwasher. Only con is that they seem to absorb the color of dark colored liquids (like dark colored soup)- I hand washed and the color stuck but when I put in the dishwasher, it came off!.

Great set, nice and strong! Bought a set of bamboo ones by Giada for Target, quite expensive too, unfortunately, the worst set EVER! They fell apart in sections once they were washed a few times. These are worth the money! Excellent quality too!.

I really thought this utensil set would be a great starter set for my new home. When I first used the flexible turner for frying eggs, I knew this purchase was a horrible mistake. The eggs stick to the spatula and it’s impossible to mix and flip.

The other spatulas are all nylon and very sensitive to high heat, so they just melt and come apart. The first time I used the balloon whisk, the wires became uneven and misshapen. The only usable tools in the set are the ones that are really hard to mess up, like an ice cream scooper and a standard meat tenderizer.

The rest of the tools I used once and never reached for them again. Totally useless waste of money, not to mention you can get this same set for much cheaper on other websites. Do your research.

Recently moved into a new home and wanted a complete, coordinating kitchen tool set. This one fits the bill! It has (almost) everything you need to outfit the kitchen and at a great price. The only thing we added on was the Oxo box grater/zester.

We have used various OXO products for years and they hold up great.

I have been using Calphalon cookware for over a year now and it has not disappointed me yet. Calphalon is still a very reputable company as these high quality products have been created to use for a multitude of restaurant-worthy recipes.

My only criticism here is that the stainless steel holder is a tad bit on the small side for holding everything without there being so much congestion, but it is not really much of a big deal to me. Overall, I am still very satisfied with my purchase and I know that I will not regret it in the long run.

I was worried they might be flimsy, but the handles are rigid and the ends are a bit more rubbery. The cup is plastic and I like that they are larger than expected. Also easy to a clean since it is one whole material (besides whisk and tongs).

After seeing some spots and scratches, it made me realize black would have been the better option if OD sold that color though at the time I bought it.

This is a very nice set! The wooden handles are very sturdy. The gray silicone is sharp looking and thicker then other tools I’ve seen. The caddy is stylish and a nice weight. This will look great in my kitchen!.

I would’ve done this review with the first set I bought but never took the time. My recent purchase was my second time buying this set. The quality of the kitchen tools is excellent. The set contains most common kitchen tools used.

I did buy them on bb’s daily deal promotion but honestly I’d say it would still be a good buy at the normal price if you don’t mind spending a little more on quality. These tools should last however I lost a couple pieces which is why I repurchased the set when I saw it again.

I bought these to keep in my motorhome because I got tired of moving stuff from RV to house and back again. These were reasonably priced, and should help with meal preparation. I had some cheap stuff that did not last very long.

I am hoping these items will be durable and functional. I can’t speak to the durability yet, but they seem to be a vast improvement over what I was using.

Everything you need to get started in the kitchen. Has the basic kitchen tools. Would be a great gift for college bound young adults, or someone living on their own for the first time. Would also make a great newly wed gift.

The design and materials used for the items feels and looks top notch. They’re lightweight, perfect for hiking. Though they feel a little flimsy – for me at least. I wish they were a bit sturdier. It’s perfect for soup, stew, rice & pasta based meals.

Anything denser – ie. a thick cut of meat – can cause issues. Not sure about it’s durability as I’ve only used them twice – a potential weak point is the lock design when extended – unsure if that will last the test of time – but so far so good.

Clever idea, great price, but disappointing quality. Our expected durability for the utensil set is low. Getting the spoon or fork extension to click into and securely fit the handle is challenging and inconsistent between the two sets we purchased.

Use-wise, do not expect to lift anything heavy, like loaded chili, with the spoon or fork, we have not had success with the two-piece utensil staying locked-in, the ends falls off.

Great set of wooden spatulas and spoons. The are sturdy and beautiful. Happy I found these!

I really want to move to all silicone cooking utensils. Why pay all the money for the nonstick pans, right? This set just won’t do it though. The spatula is way too small, 3″ wide at the tip and 3″ deep at the handle.

Silicone utensils are thick so that’s not even large enough to pick up a large egg to flip! (I tried, ended up eating scrambled!) 2-1/8″ at the base. The spoons in the set are both very shallow, and as they are online with the handle there is no “scoop” to them.

Not good for serving from the pan as you cannot get more than a tablespoon or two into them. The large rounded ‘spatula’ is VERY flexible. It doesn’t hold much from the pan to a plate, just says. The actual spatula is fine, but I already had one of those.

The finish on the wood is a wipe on/paint on. The mfr would have been better off to have left it natural as it was put on very splotchy (the technical term for not well). Just a sealer would have been enough.
