20 Best Utility Four Wheeler (2022 Updated)

Once the 4 wheeler was taken out of the box and assembled and charged following the enclosed directions, we found the 4 wheeler lacked power. It would not even climb a very small incline in our yard.

Upon closer inspection, we see that the back tires aren’t touching the ground (even on flat land) instruct my 5 year old to get off the 4 wheeler so I can see what the problem is. It appears the back tires aren’t holding air.

After airing up the back tires a total of 12 times! (Literally) I’ve had enough. Take it back to Walmart. They first want me to contact the manufacturer. I tell them no! We have spent more time trying to “repair” something brand new that I paid over $400 for than what my child has got to enjoy it.

I realize this is far cheaper than what you would pay for a gas powder 4 wheeler, but I expected it to last longer than 2 hours for $400. Don’t waste your time or money.

I ordered 3 of these. I ordered from upzy and chosen the no assembly option. I am a female and not Mechanically inclined what so ever and I was able to put all three together with only watching a 3 minute U tube video of just the handle bars and tires.

I absolutely love these. Great price, amazing quality belive it for not. And overall they are just so fun. The neighbors are impressed with these machines as well. I always get asked about them. When it comes to issues, they everything is super easy to get to and to troubleshoot.

bought 2. pretty easy assembly. they have adequate power, i’m 6′ 220 and it pulls me around fine. i added hour meters to them, no major problems so far. you will have to be handy and keep tinkering with them, bolts will come loose, just keep an eye on things.

both of the speed sensors never worked right. one of the hoses on the motor keeps blowing off, they both vibrate like crazy.

Great service before, during, and after the sale. I would not hesitate to order from Upzy again. Thanks Joe, for all the excellent communication and help. The raptor is a great value and has been excellent so far.

Case #67506. The front bumper was broken when we received it. Still no response on if it will be replaced. Also a week after using the brand new atv. It has a major oil leak coming from the crankshaft seal.

So after going back in forth over email about it and haven to buy the parts myself and have someone fix it for me. I’m out even more money in a brand new atv. I’ve sent 3 emails in the past week and now no one will repay to me about the front bumper or about the oil leak.

Every time we call and ask to speak to someone. Marie says “ there is no one to talk toâ€. This hole ordeal has been a nightmare and what should have been a great Christmas present. Has turned into a nightmare and has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Tao Bull arrived less than two weeks after ordering! Was not damaged and all pieces were in tact. Assembly was straight forward and the entire family loves to ride it. During the verification process I was hit with a $200 surcharge and had to pick a different color than I originally wanted.

Picked black settled on red. Passed on a Bull from the local dealer to save some money but ended up paying more after the so called surcharge fee. Not a big deal but was planning on purchasing a second quad so trying to save money where I could.

??. Title came came quick after requesting it and the Bull has the torque I needed for hauling gear on long trail rides.

After struggling to build the ATV, it has been a good piece of equipment. I am a 20 year vet professional automotive technician and it certainly wasn’t the easiest thing to piece together. I wish there were detailed assembly instructions from manufacturer.

Fitment of the plastic pieces was poor. It took some effort trying to stretch everything into place.

I can review two of these. I purchased the 1500-lb single axle and my father has the 1200-lb dual axle. So far we have both broken the hitch bar. They give you very little space at the end of the hitch and if you make a sharp turn you will snap it off.

The welds are poor. Both of us broke it within 2 weeks of owning so this is clearly a defect. On the bright side Polar shipped my dad out a new hitch bar promptly and we welded it up better. I just welded a new piece of steel to the end of mine and drilled a hole in it.

Mine also came with a leaking inner-tube and, again, Polar sent me a new one promptly. Quality control seems pretty poor. Other than that this is a very solid cart. I haul enormous amounts of wood with it, with the optional side-rails which I strongly recommend.

I would not recommend getting the dual axle model. It hauls less, is much more expensive and does not turn as well. I see no advantage to the dual axles and after using both I would recommend the single axle model.

I bought this trailer about 4 weeks ago to help me haul brush and other yard debris. I live out in the country on 5 acres and use the Polar HD1500 with my Honda Rincon ATV. I can tell you that after approximately 100 huge loads that this trailer is the real deal.

It will take everything that you can throw at it. It works perfectly in your yard as well as the woods. I also purchased the optional side rails that allow you to increase your load size. I literally fill this trailer until I cannot put anything else it it.

So far I have not been able to overload this trailer. To secure the load I use 1 or 2 bungee cords attached to the side rails. The load stays in place perfectly. Assembly takes approximately 30 minutes and is straightforward.

If you need a super tough trailer that can withstand just about everything you can throw at it, this is the one.

The design of the molded cargo bed is especially good. Loading is convenient with its low sides or roll into the rear with the bed tipped. The bed is tough and its design keeps it from distorting from heavy loads.

I have filled it with dirt and gravel to the brim (probably over the weight rating) with no apparent ill effects. It is holding up well after two years of heavy use hauling dirt, firewood and logs. The capacity is great.

If you get a smaller one, you may regret it. I see no need for the four wheeled version unless going over very soft ground.

I bought this ride on ATV and the battery would NOT keep a charge, couldnt exchange it since it was the last one. Even called the battery company in hopes of replacing the battery, they refused. I had to buy a new battery which cost another $70! Within two charges the fuse blew and had to be replaced, ( extra fuse comes with battery).

The seat has to be screwed on and off every time you charge the battery its a hassle. PROS: my 15 year old son can actually ride it with ease, ofcourse the battery wont last long but it works and he can sit with ease.

since he is not confined into a small space like a car. Fits two kids easy and holds heavy weight. Up to 150 pounds!.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas. She’s 4 but she’s tall – the size of an average 7 year old – so it was important for us to get something large enough for her. Another concern was that we live in a marshy rural area, so it had to drive well outside in damp grass and shallow mud.

Our 4yr old sits quite comfortably on it. She can even sit on it with our 16m old. It’s a bit quishy for our 9yr old, who is 4’10”, and it runs very slowly when she sits on it. The wheels can handle our marshy yard, so that was also a plus, but it runs slowly, like it takes a good effort to make the ATV go.

When we were putting it together, parts for one of the wheels were threaded wrong. My husband, who is a first class joiner, had to use his own tools and work with the wheel for several minutes to get it to stay put.

The pieces came pre-stickered, which might be a plus to some people but was a disappointment to us. We wanted to put more girly stickers on it, since our daughter’s favorite color is blue. We charged the battery for the recommended initial time period (which I want to say was like 2 days).

The battery does not last more than 40min. HUGE disappointment. It requires 12 hours to charge for each 40min of play. It’s also a nuicanse because the seat has to be unscrewed and removed to get to the battery.

Then I came to pull the battery off after the 12 hours once and it was making a horrible extremely high-pitched noise. I don’t understand why or how, but the noise was definitely the battery. It gave me an instant headache.

The noise stopped when I pulled the battery off the charger. It was very disconcerting. When the car goes, it makes a terrible squealing revving noise as well. You can hear it a few houses down. That’s the only plus side to the battery only lasting 40 min – the neighbors can’t be annoyed longer than that.

All in all, the car was a terrible disappointment. We bought this one because it was available in store, but I should’ve just ordered a different one online.

Perfect for our 6 year old and she loves it, BUT her battery life doesn’t make it an hour (after a 14 hr charge). Frustrating for her and us when her brother’s Power Wheels ATV outruns hers, leaving her to just sit an watch.

We purchased both ATVs for Christmas and went with this one specifically for her because of her age and its size- then went Power Wheels for her brother based off reviews. (I also wanted to compare both since in a year or so we will be purchasing a 3rd for our youngest.

) She fits it perfectly now on this Yamaha, and it will last easily for another year or two- the color is great and the look overall is very realistic so obviously we are disappointed in the battery/run time.

she is a very light 6 year old so is no where near the max weight so I know that has nothing to do with the battery draining and she doesn’t always run it on the highest speed. If the battery lasted as long as the Power Wheels it would have been a much better purchase.

Might stick with Power Wheels when our youngest is old enough to ride with the older kids knowing this now. In the meantime will try to find another compatible battery.

Bought to compliment new Honda Talon UTV. It will haul so much more than the UTV is capable of. Excellent Product. Indispensable for hunting purposes; hauling deer feeders, tree stands, 100’s of pounds of deer corn, not to mention hauling out harvested animals.

Couldn’t do without it.

In searching for a trailer for my ATV, I researched extensively. First, to see what was out there and second, to see what people thought of them. After having had my trailer for several months now, I figured I would write this to help the rest of you out there save some time in making an informed decision.

For reference, I generally use the trailer on weekends only and not for continuous professional use. That being said, I have repeatedly loaded the trailer to capacity and hauled it over rugged terrain and on steep pitches and traverses.

I compared about ten different trailers, ranging in price from about $300 to $1800. Obviously there was a range in size along with the range in price, so I thought hard about exactly what I intended to do with the trailer.

I generally use the trailer to haul around wood and stone on a tract of land that is hilly and densely wooded. So, for me, strength was primary and being the “right size” was a close second. The right size for me was in the middle of the range – big enough to make my trips worthwhile but maneuverable enough to get around through the trees.

Capacity for me would be determined by weight and not volume. (Had volume been my primary goal – i. e. hauling hay or supplies – I likely would have gone for the Polar 1500 which is quite a bit wider and has a box that extends over the tires.

) The best manufacturers tend to mention the weight of steel used in construction of their products when they have something to be proud of. This is the case with Polar and I was not disappointed when I unpacked the box.

This trailer, as told by the manufacturer, is very well-built. Heavy gauge steel is used throughout the frame with full-seam welds and large bolts at assembly points. The box is a durable plastic, which admitted seems thin (as I had read in other reviews).

But I have yet to cause it any harm after heaving in many tons of wood and stone. As for the tandem vs. single option – I can only speak for the tandem (of course) but can easily tell that it does an excellent job of taking loads over rough terrain and the extra pair of tires helps to keep the trailer from sinking in the soft stuff.

The downside of any tandem trailer is that tight cornering is tough – as two wheels must skid – which can be hard on whatever ground you are on. I just try not to make tight turns when I am on the lawn.

Last but not least, the price. This trailer fell in the lower middle of the range for prices but, as far as I have been able to research, is in the high end of the range for quality, so I feel that it is an exceptional deal.

I could have spent more but doubt I could have been any more satisfied. I should also note that I installed a 1-7/8″ ball coupler instead of using the tab and pin connection as I felt it would perform better.

I highly recommend this trailer.

The trailer but sent in a timely manner customer service as well as the store was very cooperative. The downside to it was the extension rails were pictured but not included. It should be advertised as an option.

Overall, order was very well handled, project, with the exception, was as expected and easily assembled.

Comes with instructions and is pretty detailed. No tools needed for assembly. Too easy. Grandson loves it. Great present and a super cost.

Good choices for kids gifts. My little one all most 3 years old .he so happy drive around. Easy setup easy control easy go .

My daughter absolutely loves this toy ATV! The assembly was fairly easy and took me about 30 minutes to complete by myself.

Have had this cart for a couple weeks now, putting it together was fairly easy and all the hardware was there. I immediately put it to the test loading fence rails and logs and branches, it performed great, it is light wieght and can be wheeled around with one hand and hooking up to the 4 wheeler was a snap, time will tell, the plastic is sturdy and the dump action works good, i like the fact that you can dump at diffrent angles left or right or straight back.

I am debating on drilling holes in the floor for drainage when it rains otherwise if left outside in the rain it will become a swimming pool. The wheels were inflated to the proper PSI, but the fitment seems cheapish, i put grease on the axles to help.

The Polar Trailer HD 1500 was a nice compromise of size/weight for use behind our SXS and Golf Cart for home use. I wanted something that could carry a fair amount of weight without ripping up the grass and possibly fat enough tires for use in light snow.

This trailer was just that. I did add on the ball hitch and expanded metal fence to increase capacity. But I wanted space to mount common lawn tools as well. Rake, trimmer, pole saw etc. This should come in handy around ice fishing and hunting seasons.

The swivel while tilting is a nice feature I had not anticipated on using. But I have found it very handy. When hauling light loads, like leaves and tree trimmings, our golf cart pulls it just fine. But for heavier loads like wood blocks, we use our SXS as it will haul more than our cart can pull.

I would be interested in rigging up fish house seats in it like the Clam sleds for carrying a couple passengers across the property!.

Shipping was a nightmare, 1-2 weeks means start making phone calls after 2 weeks if you want it within 3-4 weeks. Then you have to schedule a time and take off work for a full size semi and trailer to drop off the small 95 lb package while blocking traffic.

Harrow itself seems like it would be OK grading sand such as a baseball field, didn’t scratch or do anything to my small plots. Had to pay to get plots turned over and then after seeding went over seed 6-8 times to try to break up clumps and level off.

Seemed to do a ok job but destroyed the seeds in the process and at $600 per acre x 6 acres of seed all together that hurt.

With the clear instructions It was easy to build. For my grandson, it is only built once and then he keeps it as a toy, never to be dismantled again.

It was squashed and the box was torn. I ordered it from a store nearby which said it was in stock but it came from interstate one day before Christmas!!

7 years and still going strong. Rocks, dirt, deer, moose, whatever you can fit in it under 1200lbs. Most versatile thing on the homestead. You can’t find capacity, weight rating and ground clearance on any other ATV trailer out there for the price.

Durability is second to none and I have never replaced a tire or bearing to date. Grease them twice a year. You won’t regret buying this one. If they made a bigger one I would buy it immediately.

Wheel spacers are too big for wheel assembly. Cannot use both washers to secure the tire as outlined in the instructions. The cotter pin will not fit through the hole in the wheel axil to secure the tire.

Using only one washer does not secure the tire. Unacceptable. Now I have to figure out to transport a large 122 lb cart back to Tractor Supply.

I have had this thing for 6 to 7 years and it is really tough. I am NOT a person who goes easy on equipment. I have done pretty much everything Razor said not to do (while still being safe). I highly recommend this product.

Razor did a good job on this thing. The only thing about this quad is that it does have lead acid batterys. You may have to replace then every year.

This is so much better than powerwheels. It’s very well made, it is heavy which is great because it gives it a low center of gravity and does not roll easily. It says 8+ but my 6 year old boy, who is small for his age, handles this thing easily.

The twist throttle was easy to learn. It’s also nice that the speed is more than powerwheels so a bit for fun, however not so fast that I have to worry about it being dangerous. The charging port is also super easy so I don’t have to take the battery out.

I think you get a lot for the price.

I purchased a black one for my son 2 years ago. I would give it 5 starts but the brakes broke immediately, but my son was fully capable of riding without. My son was 5 when we got it for him, for Christmas.

Perfect size for him, still at 7 he can ride, and is average size, although another year, and he probably wouldnt. My son was very hard on this wheeler, flipped, ran into stuff constantly, we also havent been good about unplugging it when its done charging, or full charging.

I myself being a petite women at 120 was able to ride on it, and even used it to catch my dogs at 9 months pregnant about 150. My daughter 4 yrs old started taking it over recently, as he has a dirt bike now.

Now the battery will only last in 15 minute spirts, so I return to buy her a pink one!.

First off, great lightweight size for a hoover and looking at it I was quite impressed. It looks brand new apart from a deep scratch on the side of the wheel and a brush is missing but that doesn’t matter.

Now I own a husky so it’s quite important to have something that can handle the fur!. There is no manual but you can download it!, I was very surprised at how quiet the hoover is and the first time you use it you’ll wonder if it’s actually working properly.

Now I’ve used it twice now and have learnt that if you’re using the long hose you’ll find the suction isn’t as powerful and really should be used for stairs and hard to reach places, so always use the short one for going around.

The hoover has a long corded plug in cable which is handy and you can use the long hose with attachment pipes to do the stairs whilst leaving the hoover downstairs but it will not go any further that the top step but that doesn’t matter because the hoover is lightweight and easy to carry.

The hoover has 5 hight settings but found it incredibly noisy when on the first!. The little pet attachment for using on the sofa isn’t great so I used the other brush bit. So I’ve given 4* because of the hassle of changing hoses all the time and the two brush attachments I have don’t actually fix to the hoover sothey are in a carry bag and hung on the back of it.

I think it’s great for the price if you’re not overly fussed.

I have the old model too with the high wattage motor now banned under the EU regs. The old sucks powerfully and is very efficient. The new model is quiet but does not hoover efficiently. The hose is as useless as the old model and falls off all the time.

It has to be carried separately. Having said that it is clean easy to empty and use. Its a shame the manufacturer hasnt improved on the hose front after all these years of selling and poor reviews. The lead is not as long as I wished for.

Love this vacuum cleaner, it’s very easy to use, lightweight and manoeuverable, picks up well, cleans the dog hair off my carpets with much less effort than my old cleaner. Whilst it is reasonably easy to empty my only criticism is that the dog hair gets stuck at the top of the cleaner around the filter so then there is a loss of suction even though the dust compartment is almost empty.

I have found this to be a fault with all my other cleaners so just work around it. On balance i’d say this is one of the best cleaners i’ve had.

The kids love the power and capability of this “little” electric ATV. It’s plenty fast for 6 – 10 year old (we have it capped at the “middle” level of speed as it is) and it’s a solid, heavy, and stable.

The battery lasts a surprisingly long time (three kids sharing back and forth and we got over 1. 5 not-so-gentle hours of play time out of it). Nice tires, nice suspension. It’s all “legit”. The motor-on-axle design keeps the motor well-sealed from the elements without a chain to break, oil or get dirty.

It’s practically maintenance free. Excellent purchase, WELL worth the price which is cheaper than many gas powered ATVs without a loss of capability. Buying a three pack of batteries to wire up as a second “gas tank” isn’t even that much money (~$60-70).

Go for it!.

It is fun and kinda tough. Do to the region of manufacturer, metal is thin, bolts do fall out and everything needed to be adjusted. In general if you can work on your own bike you will figure this out.

If you don’t t like to do occasional repairs. This may not be for you. In general great toy for the price. Everyone loves it.

When I revived this item it’s was stuck in slow mode and the dial to change it doesn’t nothing it’s remains stuck in slow mode. After spending what I did in this it’s completely unacceptable.
