17 Best Utv Snow Plow (2022 Updated)

I bought this just before the Ottawa areas last light snowfall. Assembling the blade was relatively easey. Not quite as easy as their you-tube video but anyone with some mechanical skill can do it in short order.

The only trick is installing the mounting bracket. the mount is “universal” but instructions only cover some of the more popular ATV’s. However, again, if you are a little mechanically skilled you can figure it out.

In my case, installing on a 2009 Rhino 800 was easy once I figured out where to put the bracket. It only needs the one main bracket, install across the two square main frame members right below the CV joints.

You can cut slots in the plastic splash shield for the u bolts to go through so you can keep the splash shield. Only one issue, they only gave me two square end U bolts so I had to use two round end ones so you lose a little clearance above the frame rails.

Plow bracket is about 17″ back from bush bar. Winch raises and lowers it perfectly. I just plowed the road in front and parking areas and short lane covered in 30cm/13″ of snow and it worked like a charm! no marks, no dents or bends.

Very strong blade. I am quite happy with it.

If your looking for bang for your buck, this plow is for you. I assembled and mounted on my 2022 Suzuki King Quad 750 in about 6 hrs by myself and with quit a few breaks. The assembly of the plow is easy, but the mounting plate and location was the hardest part.

It has a universal mounted plate and they give instructions for several makes and models (not mine though) and deciding where to put it and its installation was the hardest part. If you have a metal or plastic skid plate on your atv you will likely have to cut and/or modify it to get the mounting plate attachments to fit.

This is the only draw back I see with this plow, but we’ll see this winter how it performs. At its price point this plow is sometimes several hundred dollars below other top brands and the quality of the plow and mounting hardware look to be good, all thick metal with a substantial mass, this is what you need in a 60″ plow for a full-sized atv.

Plow looks sturdy but came with several scrapes on the face of the plow which I touched up with paint. The bolts for the mount did not match the nuts so I had to go out and purchased new nuts. The plow hooks up to the mount fairly easy and the winch lifts and lowers the plow with no problem.

Sometimes the wireless remote doesn’t seem to work or connect with the winch,hopefully it’s just a battery issue. It hasn’t snowed yet so I haven’t been able to see how it performs in the snow.

It took me 3 hours using hand tools, the instructions were pretty good but some areas need further explanation, I was also under the assumption that I needed a front receiver hitch that I ordered and can’t use.

The performance rating is really something I can’t comment on as I haven’t use the plow yet. The quality looks pretty good for a home use plow.

Easy to assemble, all parts mated perfectly including custom mount for my vehicle. All hardware installed, nuts and bolts made assembly a breeze. No sorting needed. The plow worked exceptionally well.

This project was unexpectedly fun to assemble and use.

Bought this KFI 72” plow for my ‘21 Honda Pioneer 700-4. FAST shipping from Fortnine. Horrible delivery time on UPS’s part as I ended up having to go pick it up myself at their warehouse because no one wanted to deliver it to me.

They even joked with me about it…I let them know I wasn’t joking… ;). End rant and absolutely no reflection on the great folks at Fortnine!! Easy assembly, easy to install. Very rugged equipment. If you damage this, it’s purely from abuse and misuse.

I purchased the Warn ProVantage blade, push tube, and centre mount for Brute Force 650i. Instructions for assembly are adequate, and all supplied parts good quality. No issues with fitment, although I temporally replaced aftermarket aluminum skid plate with OEM plastic one.

This is by far the best accessory I’ve purchased for my ATV. I actually look forward to a snow storm so I can plow my driveway, my parents, and neighbors. I live in rural NL (NE coast) and use CANADA’SMOTORCYCLE.

The plow design and function is perfect. I clear a 100 meter driveway with it and have no problems. It pushes the show clear out of the way.

I love that this snow broom does not have a hinge where the blade part meets the pole. I have had others with a hinge there (why? No idea) and the hinge ends up breaking, rendering the tool useless. This was easy to assemble, and is nice and sturdy.

The foam broom or blade part works well and doesn’t scratch paint. Although it won’t work well to scrape ice (get an ice scraper for that) it removes snow fast and easily. It’s light weight and easy to dis-assemble for storage.

My only complaint? The telescoping handle could be a foot or two longer so I could push all snow off the SUV’s roof from one side.

Like the headline implies, I was kind of a dummy when I bought this clicked through other products that had bad reviews or were too expensive until I finally saw this one. Since it was a replacement for another similar version that had broken (the threaded female sleeve on the pusher head cracked) I ended up making a Frankenbroom out of this (unscrewing the head and attaching it to the still usable pole of the otherwise broken one I already owned).

Heres why: Pros: 1. I like that you can collapse the pole, unscrew it from the head, then attach it to the back of the head using the clips. Being so compact, it makes storage behind the drivers seat simple.

Cons: 1. 35 is really short I drive a compact car, and I wouldnt be able to properly clean my windshield without leaning against a snow-covered car to do it. 2. Theres no scraper on the butt end of the pole.

Why? Who knows. Its so simple to include one, and without it, youll only be able to get deep snow off your car youll still need a scraper if its at all icy. So, why two stars? Because I got lucky in that my wife didnt throw away the one that broke, and the threading on the old one matched the new one.

If that hadnt been the case, I would have returned it.

super disappointed with this. first snow of the year, not more than 3 inches on my car, and the head kept coming unscrewed from the handle. for the cost, $23. 00+, this should not be happening. it’s really annoying, especially since we’re supplsed to get way more snow and i don’t know where my other brush is.

i will definitely be returning this. also, the handle is a little short and unless you are 6’5″ with super long arms, you will have to do half the car at a time.

Package arrived very quick and in good shape. Parts are very organized and secured for easy location. I did the install, alone, and took about 1 and 15 minutes to assemble and get installed. Went together very easily, fitment was very good, not a bunch of slop at pivot points.

The coating looks good. new and everything works as stated. Adjustable skid plates were nice and the blade tilt stop worked perfect for a 4″ lift to keep a good blade angle. Definitely need the markers to see blade edges, especially with a lift kit.

I also am changing from wire rope on my winch to a synthetic rope because the steep angle of the cable will cause fraying over time so synthetic is a definite upgrade! With the upgrades, I have no doubt this will do everything I need it to do.

Side note a welder buddy commented on the quality of the build, in a good way. BRING ON THE SNOW.

I joined a new hunting lease this year and wanted to plant my own small plots around stands I put up. I searched and searched for a plow to pull behind my Honda Pioneer. After looking at what was on the market I kept coming back to this unit.

I had concerns from reading forums and post on the internet that this type of plow was bad for your machine. My machine being only a year old I didn’t want to mess it up obviously so I emailed the company with my concerns for setting it up correctly.

The owner of the company not only followed up promptly with an email he called me before he sent me a response back and answered every question that I had!! I was amazed by the customer support!! After receiving my plow I put it to use at the hunting lease.

The plow works amazing! If you take your time and cut a little at a time until the ground is loose it does its job. I plowed three plots up, about 1000 sq feet each. It took about 20-30 mins to do each plot going in a circle/figure eight motion.

Using my side by side I had to back up several times in tight areas, the plow had no problems in forward or reverse. Take a couple 4×4 blocks to put under the rear tires to raise the machine and you will be all set.

I recommend this plow to anyone that needs to plant in a small area. As long as the buyer understands that this is not a tractor implement there will be no issues! Again the customer service is great and the plow is very well built! It doesn’t look very intimidating when unboxing it but when put to work it will throw dirt in the bed of my Honda Pioneer 700.

This worked good for the small patch that I was working with. It would’ve worked better if I could’ve gottten it lower. My side by side is lifted with big tires so I had to add weight to my bed to get it to dig at all.

Definitely recommend beefing up your side by sides receiver. Mine bent slightly but not bad. I will make sure mine is supported before I use it again.

I bought this for food plots but unless your soil is already broken up this small implement will not dig in harder soil as their need to be weight applied to top of it. On the rear of atv their is just not enough weight.

Also you will need to make quite a few passes that your atv tires will rip up more dirt. I tried with a mule 610 4×4 and it still had problems digging into the soil.

I’ve done alot of research and reading on all the snowplows available for my 2019 Honda Pioneer 1000 and found that the Denali was the best built, durable, reinforced, easy to assemble and expertly fitted mounting assembly for my UTV.

The instructions were well written in ENGLISH! and easy to follow. This plow is very, very well made and expected to last a long time. It IS extremely heavy. close to 225 lbs I’m guessing. I felt sorry for the poor Fedex delivery guy!!! It was so heavy I replaced the fairlead with a pulley on the Honda to reduce the stress on the cable because of the angle of the lift and it made a world of difference! I purchased the KFI products fairlead plow pulley 105270 to alleviate the angle for $32 and the Kolpin 10-0145 blade marker kit so I could see where the ends of the plow blade was because of the height of the front of the Honda.

I am extremely happy with the quality and price of this complete plow setup and highly recommended it!.

Well made! install was not bad. Does a fine job for what it was intended. Would have given 5 stars;; There’s always a But; Hardware kit was poorly supplied, some washers were way too big, had to get my own, also when unpacking I happened to cut my hand deeply on a burr on blade swivel base.

the unit was so well made , must have been a fluke. Still it brought install to a halt till after medical attention.

This is the second purchase of this plow. Seems to be very well made and holding up very well. I particularly like the mount to the machine with no drilling of the frame. This kit is a little heavier than some others, but it also stays down in heavy snow better.

The first has been on over a year and we added a rubber cutting edge which was very easy because of the second metal wear bar by sandwiching the rubber between them. It helps a bunch when plowing on gravel.

It works great and has moved a good bit of snow.

Don’t have snow just yet, so can’t try this plow out. It’s heavy and sturdy, looks like it will work well. Only difficulty was assembly– the plow blade and the pivot assembly that ties it to the ATV needed a bit of (ahem) “persuasion” with a large hammer in order to go together.

Looks like it’s just a tolerance thing with the welded structure. I got it together. don’t know if the tight fit will affect the ability of the blade to move when needed. I suspect it will loosen up a little with use and will then be fine.

I bought this plow and the Swisher ATV Mount Kit for my Honda Rincon in January 2018 – it worked fine once it was installed. But, assembling and installing the mount kit and the blade is a huge pain – not quick and not easy.

Fortunately, in addition to the usual garage tools (wrenches, socket sets, hammers, etc. ) I have an air compressor operated socket set and ramps – both are needed (a hoist would have been helpful too).

I think it is a good product but don’t underestimate the assembly steps. Also, the instructions that came with mine where on a CD that was totally smashed. useless, so had to find something similar online as a guide.

This plow is just awesome! I bought it with the universal mounting kit to put on my Honda Rancher. It’s very well made and really heavy duty. I plowed us out of 20+ inches of snow and couldn’t be happier with it! The universal mounting kit allows you to put the plow a little farther out in front of you so you can raise the plow pretty high to manage the big snow piles.

Love it!.

Used for the first time yesterday grass and weeds maybe 6-8 inches tall weather had been dry ground hard as a rock the ground hawg did great for the conditions. My girlfriend rode around a 1/2 acre field for about an hour decided to try another deeper setting and it amazed me how well it cut the hard ground.

I had to keep slowing her down I say her adverage speed was close to 10 mph ground hawg says 7 mph max. Dirt was cut fine and about 1 inch deep that’s plenty for planting clover but my plans are to put out lime and recut in a few days then let sit til end of august first of September recut and sew clover I’m guessing that should be enough to get a good grass and weed kill so maybe clover will last 3-5 years before sewing again.

Ground hawg did its job very pleased now if I can get my youngin to ride the four wheeler with ground hawg attached around the fields that she’s going to be hunting instead of chasing boys Maybe I’ll sleep a little better.

Previously I had used a tractor to plow my food plots, but I sold it when I purchased my UTV. I saw the advertisements for the Bad Dawg and was excited as it seemed like a viable alternative – it positively is not.

I set it up as stated, backing up onto a ramp and setting the depth of the discs. In the area where the soil was dry, it worked “ok”, meaning it did plow up the soil but I had to go over the same track about 4 times for it to be broken up and plantable.

In areas where the soil was moist and not much sun hits, forget it, the discs got plugged with mud. My soil is more clay based, so it is possible that in sandy soil I would see a different result, but for me, it did not work.

Now hiring my neighbor to plow my food plots with his tractor. Sorry, can’t recommend it for clay soils.

I’ll admit, I was skeptical to try this thing, simply due to the area I intended to use it being so rough — tons of rocks and roots. I figured I’d break it the first day, but I tried one anyway. Boy was I WRONG! This thing is a BEAST! I was able to powder up the ground in less than an hour and put kill plots in some tight, rough areas.

I do really like it. If you have a nice zero turn and don’t want another engine to take care of, this is a good option. I plowed 6-10″ off my large driveway with relative ease. The tilt adjustment for the blade works great.

I’m not sure what these people are on about. A note for the people who have a scag tiger cat: I had to bend the bracket a bit to get it to go over the frame on the right side and it didn’t seem to ever sit perfectly straight, but it plowed well so I am not worried about it.

Maybe manufacture could widen these brackets to account for bigger commercial frames? Quality seems good. Everything is replaceable which is even better.

I found this unit to be very user friendly, I installed the universal mounting kit myself in just a short time and was out moving dirt on my property. I had to terrace a hill that was quite steep and the included foot pads provided just the right angles to allow me to work the hill.

The manual adjustment to the angle of the blade was easy to use and provided good control to move the soil to the areas I needed to fill. I still have a lot of soil to move but I am sure that the Plow Blade will be able to provide the necessary muscle I will need.

I would recommend this unit to anybody that has a quad and needs to terrace their property without having to hire someone with a large tractor.

Great plow works good for me as intended. Mount fit on a Polaris 500 was not as good as I would have liked due to the Polaris skid plate having a bump in it and the bolts being just long enough to work.

Eventually I lost one that came loose over much use and as soon as it got loose it dropped as there wasn’t any extra thread. Minor issue though and quick fix with new bolt. Don’t see it being an issue on any other models to.

The manual even notes the difference. Going through kill in for replacements ain’t the easiest and it’s way easier to just get your own. Emailing them asking to see if you can buy a spare part was like w.

t. * as their response was like yes you can buy replacement parts please contact us and your like that’s what I did. That aside the plow works great and if I ever wore this one out i would have no problem getting another.

I purchased this about a month ago on sale. For the sale price I think it was worth the money, especially compared to a lot of other products on the market. The installation instructions were all over the place (what I mean by that is that they don’t tell you assemble the blade portion of it first, and then attach it to the rest of the push frame) but otherwise the assembly went well.

I must note that the handle that is used to pivot the blade from side to side gets in the way of my winch cable- hence the 4 star rating. I mounted it to a 2005 Suzuki King Quad that has a tubular style frame.

So far I have used it 3 times since November 22nd to plow my cul-de-sac and a parking lot with no problems. The skid shoes have a tendency to rattle a bit with the vibration of the engine too, but this does not affect the performance of the product.

I think it’s a well made product worth the money.

very well constructed,used it for the first time on heavy wet snow. No issues whatsoever. I would have given it 5 stars but the instructions are a bit vague. You really have to take your time and read them a couple of times.

I like everything about it so far. I have not used it yet and frankly hope it never snows 🙂 It was shipped, packaged, and delivered. I couldn’t ask for better. The ONLY problem I had was the wheels you have to set up correctly were a BIG pain to get off after taking the cotter pin out.

It seems the painted or powered coated the whole thing with the wheels in the neutral position. You couldn’t take the wheels off with without call 911. Need to correct that. I had a regular Meyer plow several years ago for the farm and they make a good product.

I got the Home plow because finances wouldn’t allow for a commercial one, so we will see how this Home Plow does I have 3900 feet of driveway to do on my farm. Wish me luck (or you can come help :).

Very frustraed with this product. Got it hooked up and the remote worked from out side the car. If you stood by the reciever. Contacted meyer and was told i needed an extention cable. I also purchased snow shoes for it.

After rewiring the remote it worked for about an hour. While i installed the snow shoes. Which did not come with enough spacers to keep the plow blade off the ground. I have a call into meyer again and if they can not resolve the issue i will be returning the plow.

Thank god snow isnt hear yet.

The plow took no time to install–it was the receiver that took 2+ hours. The holes did not exactly line up so it took some work to get it mounted and bolted in place. The receiver assembly is a snug fit onto the truck but that is probably a good thing–no play at all when I drive with the plow attached.

Now I need some snow so I can play! I gave all 5 stars because it is solid, looks great and seems like it should do the job well–looking forward to proving that out with some snow.

Plow works great thus far. Seems well made and easy install. Love the 2 pin quick connect and disconnect. Would recommend!

Great little plow. Lifts high and mount does not hang down so plenty of ground clearance

I purchased this product last winter and loved it. I just bought a spare that I will keep in my car. I keep the first one assembled in the house and ready to use. It saves a great deal of time and labor cleaning the snow off of your vehicle.

You can push or pull the snow. I am planning to buy another one, maybe even 2 as a gift. It was very handy and quick during this winter storm. I was able to clean my car quickly and get back inside from the fridgit weather conditions.

Got my ATV snow plow today. Got it on my Polaris sportsman 500 ho in about 3hrs. Instructions was not as bad as others say. Have not used it yet but looks like it will do my driveway (600ft. ) Long. Is built sturdier than expected.

One thing is the blade got bent in shipping.

Just got this plow installed the other day and used it over the last two days. It does a fine job and does what the manufacturer says it does. The only reason for my downgrade is that the instructions (in combination with Champion’s YouTube instruction video) are not clear on a few items that you MUST install correctly or the system won’t work.

The video is good, but it glosses over a LOT of things.

Great plow for the money. Ships quickly, easy to assemble, easy to use. Five positive stops, have to get off quad to change it. Spring tension on blade adjusts easily. Attaches to the quad in seconds with two pins.

Makes short easy work of clearing my driveway. My only complaint; i didnt buy it SOONER!.
