It stays in place for the entire round, unlike some others I have that slip down. It’s comfortable, too.

The FootJoy brand is a little better quality/fit, although the white FJ sleeves discolored/yellowed after use and the Adidas did not.

These sleeves are perfect for cooling and protection without being tight or sliding down. I used these for a Spartan race I did over the weekend to protect my arms from climbing walls, crawling, etc.

and they did a great job. Half through the course someone ask me if I was hot with my arm sleeves on and I said you don’t really feel them. If you are going to be outside and need a sleeve but don’t want to wear a long shirt, these work great and they are moisture wicking, so you don’t even feel that they are there.

I don’t feel like the compression is good enough to wear these frequently, but they are a pretty decent pair.

I bought these for a holiday to Norway in August. We’d planned to go kayaking and I wanted to protect my arms from the sun. I have such fair skin I burn very quickly and it’s not easy reapplying suncream when kayaking! I didn’t want to wear a long sleeve top, especially if it was hot (which it was when we kayaked), so I bought the medium oatmeal arm sleeves, no holes, to try.

Although I’m petite my upper arms are defined, so I bought the medium for comfort and I’m glad I did. Small would have been too tight. I really liked the colour. They blended well with my skin tone so from a distance it wasn’t that obvious I was wearing them and the colour wouldn’t clash with whatever colour sports top I wore.

I wore them for over 3 hours straight and they were comfortable. Not sure I’d want to wear them all day long though but for a morning’s kayaking they were ideal. Although it was about 80F on the day we kayaked, I didn’t feel too hot wearing them.

Did not feel restricting on the upper arm whilst kayaking which is was my only initial concern pre purchase. They gave me excellent coverage, especially on the upper arm. They came up high enough to sit underneath my t-shirt meaning I didn’t have to worry about the back part of my upper arm getting caught in the sun whilst paddling with the sun behind me.

I will definitely be wearing these again in the summer when kayaking, hiking or cycling. It was such a relief not to have to worry about whether I need to reapply suncream on my arms.

I do like the product, it made my life easier in regards to being outside on a sunny day, I am very cautious about the Sun and what it can do to my skin, therefore I prefer to cover myself up and not to be exposed at all.

And like I said before, these sleeves made my life easier, now its possible to wear a T-shirt and not being worried about my arms. I have noticed though the sleeves keep drooping down and I have to keep pulling them back up, but I think it’s just a nature of sleeves, any sleeves will behave this way, unless its too tight with a silicon band on it, or perhaps adding some glue can fix the problem (am joking).

Also I expected it to be not seen through, however when you stretch it a bit there are little pores, where I thought a sunlight can come through (but is there any material without a visible pores?! Which is thin, breathable, suitable for summer? Hmm, my guess would be.

I like the fabric and range of colors, but overall the sleeve is too short. I wear them cycling or backpacking with either a bicycle jersey or a wool t-shirt. Most of the womens style shirts I own have capped sleeves- so requires a longer length sun sleeve to cover my arm all the way to the wrist.

For mens style T- shirts with longer length short sleeves the sun sleeve is fine but it didn’t work for the style of t-shirt or cycling Jersey that I prefer. Also, the thumb hole was not very comfortable.

Overall, should be longer.

I just ordered two more pairs of ActiveIce long gloves in S/M, the smaller of two available sizes. Outdoor Research should make these in XS, S, M, and L. I would like XS best. The S/M is too big all over.

These gloves do not make me overheated during the summer. They don’t make me feel cool, but they don’t make me overheat. That’s how I know ActiveIce technology works. They cover my arms up to the shoulder.

I like the pale gray color. The fabric doesn’t interfere with touchscreens. If the S/M fit snugly as gloves should, I’d be able to use my phone with the gloves on. The fingertips wore out within a few months.

I used these everyday all summer. The material is thin and light. They easily fit into any purse I carry. If I could find better fitting gloves that cover exposed parts of my arm, don’t make me overheat, are touchscreen compatible, come in an attractive color, and squish into a similarly compact size, I’d buy them, but I can’t.

So far there is no substitute for the Outdoor Research gloves.

I was skeptical about how these would fit and whether or not they would stay put. First impressions are that they fit snugly but do not impede circulation. The grippy band around the tops is nice- no rash or discomfort from them.

I like that I can pull them on or off without actually taking a shirt off. I have been looking for a way to protect my arms from the sun while hiking/climbing but without adding insulation/sweat factor.

This way, I can wear a nice lightweight wicking tee and use the sleeves when I’m exposed to the sun. Awesome way to avoid the burn! Only downside- I picked the ones with gloves to protect my hands as well.

The gloves fit my fat fingers great but they might be a bit big on others. If you choose not to wear them, you can tuck them up into the sleeves but I find this a bit bulky. If only the mosquitoes couldn’t bite through these!.

Used on a few day hikes and a kayaking trip. First time I’ve ever used sun sleeves, and I must say, they’re pretty great. Keeps the sun off your skin while remaining surprisingly cool. Dunk them in the water every few hours and they do a fantastic job of keeping your body temperature down.

The semi-removable glove part is a great option to have, but more often than not I kept the gloves on for everything, they’re are surprisingly resilient and the fit is fantastic, no need to remove them to do intricate things.

I wear these daily for my work, it works very well. It keeps my arm cool and less sweaty when I am working under the sun. However, I need to wear hi vis vest at work, which has velcro on it. The sleeves will stick to the velcro and get pill all over.

Be careful!! I immediately go to buy a hi vis vest with zip instead of velcro. Anyways, it is great. I would recommend the sleeves to protect you from the sun.

Best compression arm sleeve out there. I tried 5 different ones, that are on Amazon, sent them all back, but I kept and am still using the compressionz arm sleeves. I’m recovering from Ulnar Nerve surgery on one arm and doing PT on the other arm for tennis elbow and Ulnar nerve damage, ant the arm sleeves feel so good on my arms for both problems.

The arm sleeve does not bother my 7 inch scar from my surgery, but the compression sleeve my doctor gave me did. My doctor was impressed with the comressionz sleeve too. It does not slip down at night or when I have it on all day.

I am thin, so when I measured my biceps, it said I should order the adult small, and it did slip down a little. I ended up ordering the boys large, it’s not quite as long, but it is perfect, never moves or slips down.

I kept the adult small to wear when I do my 40 minute cardio workouts on my stationery bike or my elliptical, then I put on the boys small for the rest of the day and night. I put them into a lingerie bag and wash them on cold/delicate cycle and I hang them to dry.

Got this for my son for a unique reason. My son uses this for baseball. He had a bad dislocation of his elbow when he was 8 after falling out of a tree and as a result has discomfort in his elbow when he throws long distances or max velocity due to scar tissue build up.

Bought this in hopes that it would help with the pain. Put in on as soon as we got it and went out to throw. Immediate difference. Got on the mound and was throwing straight gas. He looked and me kinda shocked and said he can’t feel anything.

Discomfort is gone. He wants to put it on and go throw everyday now. Total game changer.

I got this pair of arm sleeves for my 9 year old Grandson, who is playing tackle football for the first time and he has eczema, most notably on his left arm and he wanted something to cover it. His biceps measured 7.

5″ and the youth medium set that I ordered were 7. 5-8. 5″. Well, they were a little too big for his upper arms and kept sliding down when he was playing football. I wanted to return them for the smaller set, but he really liked them.

He will grow into them, plus, my daughter will wash and dry them in the hopes they shrink a little. Other than the size issue, they’re nice and I recommend the product for the price. I couldn’t find compression sleeves for kids anywhere.

Bought the xl and the upper arm part is what fits my forearm. I’m xl shirts from target so this being so wildly small is shocking to me. I wish they sold forearm sleeves I didn’t want it all the way up my arm anyways.

It did come with a storage bag which is great for carrying in my purse so I always have it if I need it. I have a sun allergy and this thing absolutely works. No hives so it’s still 4 out of 5 stars even though it’s wayyyyy to small.

Color is beautiful. I should just cut it in half but I’m afraid it will unravel and be ruined. The hand cover flaps a nice option and if I cut it I lose that. But right now it’s so bunched up on my wrists because it only goes up to my elbow ( which is what I wanted anyways ) the extra material is annoying Please make the xl size bigger.

I don’t know what I did without these sleeves. So much better for sports than wearing sunscreen! These fit very well; not too tight, but they also don’t fall down. I bought both S/M and L/XL to try, because some reviewers said they were too tight and some said they were too loose.

Quality was excellent – left and right are marked inside, and the straps to loop over your fingers work well to keep the sleeve over the top of your hand. I was pleasantly surprised that the pair comes with a fabric zipped bag.

Since I eventually bought six pair, the bag is very handy to keep pairs together.

I think the sleeves are a great concept. I live in Arizona so when I walk in the morning, it is already hot. The sleeves not only provide me with the opportunity to skip the sunscreen on my arms but also they shield the top of my hands from the sun.

My only issue is that the sleeves tend to roll down a bit near my shoulders when I am wearing a sleeveless shirt. A shirt with short sleeves would not be an issue.

I bought a pair of these to use when running and biking outdoors (a daily activity for me), and so far REALLY like them! They are so much more convenient than sunscreen, don’t seem to hold in heat, and fit quite well (I got the S/M size, and they easily slip on AND stay up on my upper arms).

These sleeves have been useful when kayaking. They do well to protect my skin. It’s hard to keep sunscreen coverage on my hands and wrists when paddling a kayak. The sleeves dry quickly and are machine washable.

I’ve also worn them when driving and the sun is bright and intense on my drive. I like that at the wrist there are slits that let my Garmin vivoactive watch peak through. This reduces wrist pressure and let’s me use my watch with the sleeves on.

These are not quite as practical as a good barrier sunblock but for favorite clothes that can’t be washed or a day of sitting in airplane or train seats, they can compete.

I live in Memphis, TN, so summers are exceedingly warm and humid. As someone in their mid-40s who has had a few basal cell spots I’ve been more attuned to sun protection. I noticed the local golf professional consistently wore sleeves, so I asked about them.

He has multiple sets and raved about them, so I researched sun sleeves. SParms rose to the top with its widespread use on the LPGA and PGA tours. Among “brand names” these were the best priced and best reviewed.

There are less expensive options, however do your due diligence and double check the product composition. Many bargain options are 100% polyester and do not provide the cooling and sun protection offered by these SParms sleeves.

I’ve used these twice since receiving them. Temperatures were mid-90s with heat indexes near or above 110. Mentally, this alone provided a resistance to sleeves. I was pleasantly surprised by the “cooling” effect.

I thought that was simply going to be a marketing pitch, but they genuinely provided a cooler feel to my arms. Three bonuses: 1) the sleeves didn’t acquire a smell like many 100% polyester alternatives and 2) the sleeves stayed in place throughout my rounds and I didn’t have to worry about them sliding around.

3) wearing the sleeves allowed me to avoid slathering sun screen or spray all over my arms and hands. Last, regarding sizing, do yourself a favor and follow the sizing guide provided before ordering.

They have you measure your bicep relaxed and flexed and compare to their size chart. Very simple, but very helpful.

I bought these to cover my new tattoos for work. They were so cool to the touch, they are stretchy and easy to put on. They are easy to wash, I air dry them. Great thick quality but not too thick its uncomfortable.

My son has had some elbow soreness and the doctor had recommended a compression sleeve. He used a shorter brace that just covered the elbow but it kept slipping down. Even though this says it’s for recovery we decided to try it and it works great and doesn’t slip when he throws.

Sleeve fits tightly but it’s supposed to. Had the last version of this product and this updated version is even better. The body mapped compression allows for your arm to recover faster. Wear after a throwing session or even during sleep to help you recover!.

I’m glad I finally decided to try sleeves. I run every day (NJ) and bike commute (NYC) as well, and I was wearing long sleeve shirts, but was hard to keep on all of the time because of heat or change when commuting.

These are perfect because when I’m done running or cooling off, I can just take them off. Or if I start in the dark, I stick in my pocket and put on when the sun comes up. When leaving work in a dress I just throw them on.

Hard to get enough sun screen on my arms and not dirty my watch and all and this makes life so much easier (and less sun damage). They do feel cool, I love the finger options and rubber grips, my only only problem is too big on the biceps.

I do this things where I double knot them tighter but if I stretch or hit a pothole or anything that changes my position, the knot unties and they fall right down. I’m female, 41 years old, 5’6” and 130 lbs and clear need to work out my arms to get some bigger muscles, but I need about 2 inches wider to work, which just is probably not possible.

I’m used to the workaround now so I still love them, but can be annoying on some days.

I’m 5’3″ and 128lbs. My arms and wrists are small so I purchased the S/M and there is no problem with them staying in place. I compared these to the REI brand and the Pearl Izumi and liked these the best as they are not “skin tight” on me and the “thumby” enables the sleeve to cover my hands, which is good because the sunscreen gets wiped off there anyway.

They also feel just fine to push up to the wrist and just have coverage to the wrist, rather than over your hand. I like that I can just take them off and stash them away if I wanted, rather than wearing a long sleeve shirt.

You can also wet the sleeves to keep cool. The light color will keep the hot Arizona sun from blazing on my arms. These will keep you cooler and protect your skin. It was great to go to REI and just try them on to compare brands.

I think these are the most popular since there were only two pairs there, and I got the last S/M at the store by me. These sleeves are a great addition to my hiking gear wardrobe. I’m saying good bye to the sticky sunscreen on my arms.

Oh, I also like that they are really long and go all the way up to my armpit if I position it that high and the wrist with the thumby still comfortably cover my hand and a little of my fingers. There is also a small elastic middle finger band that you can slip over your finger to hold the wrist/hand end in place.

These are fantastic. I have a lot of sun damage on my arms, and I’m prone to skin cancer. I’ve been wearing a sun hoodie for a few years but sometimes that is still too hot for exercise in the summer.

If you wear this with a short-sleeve shirt, you still get the advantage of natural venting under your arms. Wearing these actually feels cooler than bare skin. The S/M size fits me perfectly (female, 145 lbs, ave size arms).

They stay up, even while playing tennis, yet aren’t uncomfortably tight. The light grey is a nice innocuous color that goes with everything.

I use SP Arms for sun protection whilst riding my bicycle, and also for running. They are light, a good fit, easy to put on and take off, and dry quickly. They readily fit over wrist fitness watches.

I find these are as good and cheaper than those sold specifically for cycling use, and they would also serve as arm warmers in cool weather.

I purchased 3 pairs of the SP Arms last year and wore them in several Professional Golf events to help protect my arms from the UV Rays. I found that the SP Arm material was very durable and easy to clean.

For anyone that is looking for a quality arm sleeve, I would highly recommend this product. Make sure to look at the size chart when purchasing because they do run a little tight at the top part of your arm.

I have worn several arm sleeves from different brands in the past and they always became discolored (faded) or the material became weak over time. I have been very satisfied with the SP Arms and it’s protection against the UV rays.

I bought the black version of this and they are terrible. They are thick knit polyester that doesn’t breathe AT ALL and they almost feel more like an arm WARMER, in fact I might try them in the fall for that purpose.

They are not that shiny thin material that “cooling” stuff is supposed to be made of, they are instead a thick, rough knit polyester that is not breathable and not at all cooling. I later bought a 20$ pair off amazon from “Rock Bros” and they are WAY better; they are actually the shiny material and seem otherwise the same.

i love the material used for these sleeves – really breathable and weightless. however, i am finding the band around the bicep a little tight (i am hoping that loosens up a bit over time). they do stay up well and fully cover my arms.

unfortunately there was no size chart on the altitude sports website, so i had to contact sugoi to figure out my size.

I ordered the Med and they are a bit of an odd fit. Not snug but the elastic has help them in place so far. I wonder if they will stretch out with use though. Length is just long enough (I’m thinner and 6 feet tall) but I hesitated to go up to a large in case they get wider.

Conclusion, happy with them for now but might have to tighten up the top hem if they loosen up with age. It’s my first cooling arms and am impressed how they feel on a hot day.

I purchased the sleeves because I wanted to avoid sunburn, and they provide excellent sun protection. I can bike for hours in direct sunlight without sunscreen on my arms, and I observe no sun damage.

I contrasted with my hands – which had sunscreen, and observe a clear tan line with the boundary of the sleeves. They are also fairly cool and comfortable; sweat can evaporate and cool from under the gloves without them becoming soggy or uncomfortable.

The elastic holding the sleeves around my bicep is a little snug, but it holds the sleeve up comfortably. Overall, I would highly recommend these specifically for sun protection. I went on a ride with one sleeve on and one arm bare to compare, and I found that my arm without the sleeve was a bit cooler.

Therefore, I would suggest purchasing these sleeves specifically for sun protection and not for cooling.

Just bought a second pair after having the first one for a few years. The logo on the new pair is smaller in silver colour (unlike the photo) and hopefully won’t peel as easily as my first pair (black and red logo just like shown in the photo).

My first pair is still great with little sign of wear otherwise! They do cool the arms but only when it’s breezy.

I ordered the size that the sizing chart recommended and it was the correct size with the arm cooler being comfortably tight down the length of my arm. The arm gripper at the top, however, that grips above the bicep was too tight.

It was tight enough that I could immediately feel that it restricting circulation in my arm. I left them on for a few minutes to see if it was a case of getting used to it, but they were definitely constricting.

Am in the process of returning these.

Very comfortable sleeves, soft fabric with just the right amount of compression. Sizing was spot on for me. They appear to be washing well and retaining their original elasticity/compression. Stay in place without rubbing or irritating skin.

I do with they offered a more “stealth” sleeve to wear out in public, with a little less obvious branding. Appreciate both a black and white option. They have proven to be providing me the most relief from some elbow tendonitis issues and muscle recovery.

These arm compression sleeves are perfect. I love the vibrant color and the level of compression is perfect. I was so glad there was measurements because it is hard to tell what size one would need.
