20 Best Uv Water Bottle (2022 Updated)

I got this as a Christmas present, and honestly I can’t stop raving about them. Firstly, on it’s own, it is a fantastic insulated water bottle. Then, you have the UV water purification piece, which means, whenever I fill my water from a source I don’t trust, I know I am not going to get sick drinking the water.

Finally, the self-cleaning function is great! I had left some water in the bottle for a week and the bottle was starting to smell a bit. I just ran the blitz cycle a bunch of times and the smell practically disappeared.

Great tech – highly recommend.

This bottle is absolutely perfect! Not only is the quality of the actual bottle really good, it also has an embedded UV-C component in the cap of the bottle which cleans the water I’m drinking. Also with previous bottles I’d have to clean them out after a month or so but I don’t have to do this anymore because the bottle does it for me! Really cool technology as well, I took it to the office and it was definitely the talk of the floor.

For the price point as well, it’s a no brainer!.

Received my UVBrite bottle and wanted to share my early experience and thoughts. Unboxing the bottle, I was immediately impressed by the aesthetic. The bottle is sleek and stylish. The design of the bottom makes the bottle easy to grip.

The biggest perk of this bottle, however, is the cap. The UV-C light is a major quality of life feature. It definitely gives peace of mind knowing that it’s killing any germs and bacteria that may be in the water.

The bottle has a good safety feature. When the cap is open, UV LED will be switched off.

It s good but it can be bigger. It s only has enough room to put in a regular plastic water bottle

Great water bottle at a great price. I own several Larq bottles, but they are crazy expensive. This water bottle is a fraction of the cost, and still has the UV-C LED bulb in it for sterilization. So the benefits of Larq without the high cost.

I like the LED function lights on the top, which are informative.

I like having a water bottle that can also UV sterilize the water. It’s very convenient, and I love the color and pattern of the bottle. I like that the bottom has silicone on it so it doesn’t bang against the table when you set it down.

Overall a nice product. Cons: I’m not a fan of capacitive buttons in general. Every time your hand brushes the lid, it starts the sterilizing cycle. I feel like it might drain the battery more because every time I reach for it, it turns on.

I also don’t like that the silicone loop does not match the color of the bottle. It’s an off-shade of blue. For a luxury product like this, I’d rather have a contrasting dark grey loop or something, instead of this poorly color-matched thing.

I’m glad that I got it on sale for Black Friday and with a gift card from my Monos points, which came out to 20-something dollars. Definitely wouldn’t buy this for full price.

I’ve had the Kiyo for about 2 weeks. reduced plastic water bottles in half or more. I have family in the house who still use. The Kiyo is sleek, stylish and efficient, like all Monos products. The color is beautiful, I have Tuscan Sun.

I thought I wanted one of the blue colors, because I have a full set of the luggage in Blue Haze and the Metro backpack in Oxford Blue, but everytime I looked at pics on the website, reviews, etc. , I kept coming back to Tuscan Sun.

The bottle could be bigger, but I’m guessing for sterilization, and the size of UV component, maybe can’t treat more that 17 oz. ? If you are interested in this type of water bottle, buy it! Monos is a wonderful company, and the Customer Service is excellent!.

The first bottle I received had a couple of issues and stopped working on day 2. I reached out the the customer service team, who were extremely helpful and ensured I got a replacement in 2 days – extremely crucial as I was travelling right after.

The second bottle is working fine and has been a life saver through this trip. Some finishing issues on the second bottle though – there was a piece of glue on visible under the carry handle. When I tugged it, a whole line of the day exterior finish came of with it.

It looked like that clean up is part of the manufacturing process, as it made a straight line around the thread, that probably got missed at qc. Obviously, couple of niggles, but love the bottle and the battery has not asked for juice despite my extensive use in the first two weeks.

This product kept my water very cold. The bottle sanitizer work just fine but the actual water sanitizer part itself wasn’t great because the green light wouldn’t come on…

I cannot confirm the sanitation works, but the bottle kept my tea hot for several hours as indicated which is a plus for me.

I was so hoping to replace my older water bottle with this one due to having to be able to refill the bottle anywhere. Well, I’m a clean person so I wash my reusable bottles at minimal 2-3 times daily with water only.

I am a water drinker that refill the bottle at least 5 times a day. However, with this bottle you have to wash it after every time or else it holds a horrible mildew smell that is unbearable. No matter how much I clean it, it still will hold that sour smell.

I resorted back to my old water bottle that do NOT hold that awful smell but unfortunately I can’t refill it anywhere. Smh! So bummed especially since I spent the money I did on this bottle!!.

Great value self-cleaning bottle! I have self-cleaning uv-c bottles to compare and this is just as good as the more expensive ones! The biggest differences are battery life and time it takes to purify the water.

At 3 minutes to purify, it is totally fine. The battery lasts about 3 days when you have it on auto clean, which is no big deal. I usually don’t have it on auto clean and only clean when necessary.

The bottle appears to work well. Water is clean tasting, even after a day or so. I wish I could tell if the UV light is really doing anything, so one star shorted for needing to trust it its word. Water also stays cool for an extended period.

I added a handle under the cap to make it easier to carry around.

Product does what it says on the tin. Perfect for those on the go, commuting or traveling, but most importantly helping the environment by reducing plastic. I couldn’t say if there’s a taste difference but I did notice that I don’t have that stale/sore throat after drinking like other water filtration product so it’s a 10/10 for me.

I would also recommend cleaning the tip of the product once every 2 weeks to ensure there’s no odours.

Charging port is very old. Does not look clean and does not look stable. Bottle doesn’t do a good job holding temperature. Rim of bottle is ugly, does not go with the theme of the rest of the bottle, and taste of metal when you drink.

Bottle overall presents this luxurious bottle, clean, cutting no expense when in fact it cut expense, corners, and not worth it. get a yeti, hydro flask, or swell.

Love this water bottle. Can get water from any tap and have the confidence that its going to be clean. simple to use. Long lasting charge. Does exactly what the descriptions said it would do. Worth the money for those keen on being at the top of their health and intake of water.

I wish there was a video to teach how to properly use a Larq bottle. Especially for beginners like me who has no idea how to start this, like how to turn it on and how to turn if off. The instructions were little blurry, like I get the idea that it has different cycles but I still was struggling to understand how to turn on those cycles.

So I wish there was a video to visually learn how to use the Larq bottle. Cuz I am a visual learner, I understand things better if I see it step by step. Because if I read it only from a writen manual then it’s still blurry and still not comprehend 100%.

So I do wish there was a video to teach me how to use a Larq bottle. It did took me a few days to figure it out on my own on how to use the Larq bottle, eventually I did get it but that’s still a long time to understand the bottle.

So I do wish there was a video for beginners so they won’t struggle like I did and comprehend faster in the first day they received the bottle. The bottle is beautiful designed. That’s all I have to say about it.

My only complaint was I wish there was a teaching video for beginners on how to use the Larq bottle to fully comprehend. Cuz I was totally lost at the beginning. I struggled at the beginning to be completely honest.

Please make an introduction video about Larq bottle and teach us how to properly use it. That will be very helpful. Please make it available video in your website. Or you could send a link video to every customer who bought a Larq bottle through their emails.

A teaching video would be helpful. So we as customers feel prepared how to use it properly and knows what to expect about the Larq bottle.

I want to start by saying the bottle is a great idea and I’m sure others will have a different experience. We purchased the bottles with the intent to have better tasting and odorless water. However, my wife and I are disappointed with our bottles.

We chose this brand/bottle because the idea of self-cleaning was nifty and the testimony’s from other buyers seemed high. Our bottles arrival date switched (which was okay) so we had to wait a bit longer; however, the real issue came to the actual use of the bottle.

We used it for several weeks and noticed that the bottles started to have a metallic smell and taste. I initially didn’t clean the bottle with soap and water but my wife did. We still had an issue and depending on the day the smell and taste can be overwhelming.

We thought it might be our tap so we bought a water dispenser and we still had/have issues (I use the water bottle to test if this is still an ongoing issue)! I’m sure this isn’t happening to all that purchase the bottle but if someone is looking for issues then let this be one.

As a design note, why haven’t you guys added a fill line within the bottles? I feel that would make a lot of sense considering in the instruction pamphlet it says to the fill line. My wife and I checked in both bottles, **** my mom checked there isn’t a fill line in sight! Not mad just asking for the next person.

I received this bottle as a gift which i selected – but i asked for a gold cap. The first time they sent the bottle (which is fine – and good quality) but they sent a 25 oz gold cap instead of a 17 oz cap (mistakes happen).

They dutifully agreed to send a new cap when contacted – but yet again (shockingly) the cap came in size 25 oz (now they should be embarrassed). My sister called them and they said they would contact the warehouse and make sure the correct cap was sent – and for the third delivery – again the wrong size, a 25 oz cap instead of a 17 oz cap.

I simply do not know what to say. Now i have written to the company myself on Jan 3 to complain and to add insult to injury i did not even get the courtesy of a response. So i give this company a 4 or 5 for quality of product — but a 1 (to be kind) for customer service – they are both incompetent and discourteous.

I do not know if i will ever get the cap I requested – and given some of the other reviews I have read – I even have doubts that it will fit correctly if it does arrive. I am extremely surprised and disappointed regarding this transaction – though a gift, I would still expect to receive what I requested.

Totally works at keeping cold drinks cold. Haven’t tried putting hot drinks in it. Trying to reduce my plastic usage and staying away from water bottles, this is great! It is pricey but it’s worth it – having a good amount of very cold water.

I am interested in trying a hydro flask to compare, the mouthpiece is just a bit small which makes cleaning a bit of a pain (I’m quite a stickler about scrubbing the inside of my water bottles, totally afraid of mold).

So far so good however!.

I love this bottle and it’s the perfect size for me. Fitting in my cars cup holder is a must and this bottle fits unlike other brands I tried. The color/coating is really pretty (Milky Way) while still looking clean and simple.

However, when I removed the swell paper label at the bottom, it tore off the coating on both sides where the adhesive was which is super disappointing. I thought it was just residue/goo at first but realized it did in fact remove the coat.

The bottle is still usable but when you choose a design over a plain bottle obviously you don’t want it to get messed up. Especially when it’s not because of my own doing.

Replaced existing water fountain with this unit. Easy installation as water, drain and electrical supply were already available. Water quality is outstanding. Unlimited supply of bot hot and cold water.

Highly Recommended.

Don’t let the title scare you away from purchasing. This is a really good bottle. I’ll try my best to give an honest, 3-month review here. The good: Insulation is great – keeps your water cold as advertised Design – it’s beautiful.

But definitely get the Active loop. Not an easy grip without it. That being said, it’s not a thick bottle so it’ll fit in most cup holders. UV Cleansing – works as advertised (I think). Not really sure how to test this, but my experience has been positive.

The auto cleanse works well and the adventure mode is responsive. Does a whole lot for peace of mind, thats for sure. The neutral (not necessarily bad): Cleaning – It’s a metal bottle, so you have to frequently clean the cover and top of the bottle.

Otherwise, it ends up smelling foul like any other bottle. Don’t expect magic here. Design – As mentioned above, it’s not the most ergonomic bottle in terms of grip-ability. You have to strong grip it from the body, which leads to the next thing.

It’s heavy – make no mistake, this is a heavy bottle as compared to other (normal, non-insulated, non-UV) bottles. So know that going into it. And that’s pretty much it. It’s a good bottle. But it’s a water bottle at the end of the day.

Is it worth the cost? That really depends on your budget. Over $100 for a bottle definitely carries a fair share of sticker shock, but if you budget it out, you’ll forget that you spent that after a few days of owning it – then you’re left enjoying a good water bottle.

I want to preface this by saying that I’ve been using the bottle daily for close to a month now, so my review will be based on my experience during a relatively brief time period. I was intrigued by the UV technology that LARQ’s water bottle seemed to boast about, and seeing as I dread having to clean my bottle regularly, I figured this was the perfect product to try out.

When I initially started using the bottle, I noticed that it had a funny smell, which I suspected was emitted from the bottle’s cap, as even with regular washing of the bottle itself, the smell remained for about a week or so.

From that point on, the odor disappeared. However, I soon noticed that despite the UV technology, the bottle still developed the usual smell that you’d expect from a water bottle that hasn’t been cleaned in a day or two.

I found this a bit disappointing as the whole reason I was drawn to this bottle and it’s unique design in the first place was because I was under the impression that it’s technology would work to eliminate the odor that normally develops from an unwashed bottle.

While the product did keep my water cool as advertised, it unfortunately did not meet my expectations in mitigating the funky odor that inevitably develops in a water bottle. In terms of the bottle’s weight, if you’ve used other insulated bottles before, the LARQ bottle won’t be much heavier to you.

Another thing to take note of is the cap’s charging time. Since it’s advertised to last a month, charging it takes a couple hours. In short, it’s a cool water bottle with a sleek modern design that serves as a great conversation starter, but unfortunately, didn’t quite live up to my expectations.

I bought this water bottle due to the claims that it will help keep that funky “old water” smell out of the water bottles. It was ok for the first week of use but soon I noticed the smell even after washing and disinfecting the bottle.

I tried using different soaps and using super hot water and ran the blue light function on it as well. However, the smell will come back after less than a day of use. I do use this as an every day bottle – and I am not sure if it’s due to the vacuum sealed nature of it but the smell is still there – similar to that of other water bottles.

The only bottles I have which will clean completely are my glass bottles and ceramic bottles which are not ones that keep drinks hot/cold. Not sure if mine is defective but I was very disappointed it did not do as advertised especially for the price point.

Otherwise, the concept is cool and bottle looks cute but sucks that it doesn’t work.

I gave the water bottle to my husband as his plastic one had broke the day before this came in the mail. He’s been using it daily so I feel comfortable leaving a review. Here goes. The bottom of the tube packaging had fallen off during shipment but the bottle looked ok.

We like the slim and slique design. Holds a good amount of water. The little handle on the lid what a great idea. His only complaint is the filter bag getting sucked up with the straw and blocking water flow when using the sports lid.

We both prefer the green plastic bottle design. I will keep using mine until it breaks. We look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Barely after the 1 year warranty expired, the exterior began chipping off & the lid started leaking. This water bottle was expensive as kids bottles go & has not held up to very basic wear & tear of being kept in the bottle pocket of a backpack daily.

Very disappointing.

I wanted this for ages but couldnt bring myself to buy the one on Amazon for 32? Zzzzzzz Low and behold I found this one on EBay and didnt expect it to be authentic. It definitely is and my water tastes cleaner and smells better than ever before.

I have since recommended it to others and bought one for a work colleague who loves it! My fridge is now stacked with these bottles that I keep handy wherever I go!.

Can’t go wrong with this purchase — just remember to clean out any particles or lipstick etc! They were sold out of the blue color which I am sad about — the sand / white is hard to keep looking ***** and span when you use pens as much as I do!.

Bought to stop buying water in plastic bottles. Have not stopped using it since I bought it. Have found myself drinking more water and it is so easy simple to use. Very happy with my purchase.

I appreciate the extra level of comfort I get when using this bottle. The water in it is odorless and stays cold for a loooong time.

I’ve found that i drink more water when i can physically see the water in my bottle. Decided i wanted some filtration too, and this was a great choice! Some have noted it’s a little hard to use suction wise, but it’s not that bad.

you get used to it. Also just a pro tip… originally i thought the water tastes SOOO BAD. the directions say to soak the filter for a few hours… Later i read that 8 hours is better, so i let it sit overnight and the issue was resolved so make sure you soak it! Water tastes great and i feel good knowing my water is safe :).

I have enjoyed using the item! it makes feeling safer about the water I am drinking when driving around or working out actually pretty awesome. Since I have a thyroid disorder, fluoride is just not good for me! I accidentally dropped the bottle on concrete heading in to a medical office the other day/two doors, someone coming out while I was going in and cringed as I dropped it, wondering if it would still work.

Oops! I had a bit of a hard time getting it started up again as this was only a few days into using it; saw a bubble deep down in the hose and wondered if that was it. Nope! It was me – I wasn’t putting the drinking straw/lever all the way back into the drink position! Once I did that, no problem! Love that I can shut that lid/lever and absolutely NO leakage.

Since I use the Clearly Filtered Water Pitcher at home, I bought this water bottle for when I travel. Now, I can rest assured that all my water is safe to drink. The water bottle provided the same fine quality of drinking water that I have at home using my pitcher.

It’s great value compared to other products out there, and considering the technology it contains. It is very simple and easy to use and works better than having to find somewhere clean to filter the water before putting it in a bottle.

However, it does leak a bit which is not ideal (including on you as you drink sometimes) and the straw to drink from folds down but isn’t covered so that can get dirty easily. Also when you get to about the last 50ml you can’t get it out as it doesn’t reach the filter.

All in all, this wouldn’t put me off it because it is so cheap and works well, however it is something that the manufacturers could work on in the future.

I recently purchased this for a walking holiday to Mallorca and I am really disappointed with the bottle. It leaks when I drink out of it at times. It also leaked on the plane on the way there and the way back.

I also find it difficult to drink out of as you need to suck hard to get the water out. Perhaps a softer bottle would help this. I also dislike the shape of the bottle as it only just fits the pocket in my rucksack.

Great product and will save both time and money. Excellent for home or abroad. The only criticism is that is does tend to leak droplets from the top. Most annoying as it usually ends up on the jacket, but it’s only water.

I guarantee that you’ve never had a water bottle this good looking, or of this quality. The photos on the site don’t do it justice. The cap has a tamper proof plastic seal which was an added bonus that I wasn’t expecting.

It’s the perfect bottle for the liquid products that i create and sell. I highly recommend this bottle!.

It’s my first time buying an infinity jar. The 1 liter bottle arrived well packaged in bubble wrap. I removed the bubble wrap and found that a pretty dirty bottle with some type of residue and fingerprints on it.

After further examination the bottle was fully intact and not damaged. Below is a photo of the inside of the bottle pointed towards the sun. This bottle has such thick glass and is so dark that the only way to see the uv coloring was in this manner.

I have attached a photo below. The bottle itself is a decent weight as well. I didn’t care for the protective seal when I took the cap off. Once the cap was removed inside the cap there is a uv looking coat.

I will attach a photo below. The cap does seem to have a pretty good seal when tightened. Overall it’s too soon to know if this bottle will preserve the nootropics I am storing in it, however I believe it will do the job.

The reason I bought this bottle instead of the jar was because both were equivalent to 1 liter however the bottle saved be about $10.

Love these bottles. I purchased the 3-pack and keep one in the master bath, one on the kitchen counter, and the last one kept clean and at the ready. I only use them for water, so cleaning isn’t too difficult; I simply use a little vinegar and then hydrogen peroxide to create a simple food-safe peracetic acid sanitizer.

The only thing I didn’t like were the paper seals located in the bottle caps. Those would harbor germs big-time, so I popped them out of all the caps. It did make the caps have less of a seal, so some drops of water can come out if the bottle is tipped for a long time, but I just keep them upright, no bigs.

I have the normal Larq bottles (a couple of them), but got this one because I wanted something larger (smaller ones are quick to drink). I love the size. The only drawback is that it is not insulated, so I have to put quite a bit of ice in it to keep it cold.

The insulated version is too heavy (and is smaller), so I will keep this one for now.

It has been great, I’ve used many other water bottles and a few purification ones but this by far tops them all. Overall best water bottle cleans itself, cleans the water, is sealed tight and looks sleek!.

I really love how lightweight this bottle is. I also have the regular bottle so I can keep my water cold/hot, but I bought the movement bottle for the color and to carry a lighter bottle in my bag.

I really like this water bottle. I do need to tilt the bottle which is okay with me. I now get far more water in a shorter period of time. I like really cold water and this fits the bill. I threw some ice cubes it the bottle with some cold tap water to make the stainless inside the bottle really cold.

I next emptied out the ice and tap water. Finally I put in refrigerated bottled water. The bottle stays cold until each drop of water is gone. It is a keeper!.

The water bottle is the real deal. It is versatile for hot or cold beverages. Bought this so that my husband can use during summer landscaping job and we had a little bite of ice and the bottle can sit in a car with really high temps and for hours and the bottle with not let the ice melt so beverage is always cold.

I haven’t tried with the hot beverage but will definitely be trying this winter. Great product at a reasonable price.

Great bottle! Keeps my water cold for as long as it takes me to drink it. Very sturdy and I am likeing the rubber anti-slip on the bottom. Simple one handed operation especially useful while driving.

I found a little cleaning kit made especially for any water bottles. It consists of two brushes, made for bottle itself and straw part of it.

The Nalgene Tritan comes as advertised. Lightweight, easy to use and perhaps the main reason it was purchased is that it does not leak! The bottle is about as basic as you can get, but if you’re looking for a no fuss bottle with with an easy to grab lid, this does the trick and with the quality from Nalgene you’d expect.

The only downsides, depending on your needs, is the loop to lock/hold onto it is integrated into the drinking spout lid, which can be a bit annoying but also has positives to this design as well. The only other questionable item is the tiny little metal flip lock/latch mechanism.

While again, it is simple, it might be a question how long this will last, and also, it is not super easy to flip with one hand. Overall, and basic, mostly 1 handed operational bottle that is simple but works.

I got a couple of these for my kids to use for school. One kid has to keep his water bottle inside his bag, as the side pocket isn’t elasticized and bottles just fall out. His old one proved not to be leakproof, which was a crucial failing for a bottle going in with school papers etc.

So far this one has been sturdy and hasn’t leaked. I do find the latch a bit annoying – you have to press quite hard, making sure the lid is properly lined up (the latching part rocks quite easily to either side), and it’s not a satisfying click.

The metal security catch is a bit fiddly to fasten/unfasten, so not ideal for young kids, but it does do the job of keeping things watertight. Nice looking slim bottle with good capacity.

Doesn’t leak!!! Biggest issue with water bottles today, is finding one that really doesn’t leak! BPA free and perfect size to fit in purses, bags or backpacks. I picked this one because I prefer a small mouth piece and no built-in-straw, because it’s hard to clean and annoying to drink from.

This used to be my FAVORITE brand and bottle type, (I always bought it in red) but you have to replace the top every few months or it will grow mold on the material that closes the lid, and for some weird reason, it is uncleanable even in dishwashers or soaking over night, and you will end up just needing to buy a new top.

But aside from that, it had been completely reliable, (which is a huge deal for any student, on the run, who puts her water bottle in her bag, and it spills everywhere and ruins her note pages and electronics)!! You would be surprised how many water bottles aren’t actually leak proof! This one is a keeper, though! 💚.
