20 Best Vacuum For Garage (2022 Updated)

I use the Garage Pro for what it was designed for, have it mounted in one corner of a two car garage. I clean the cars, and the garage, on a bi-weekly basis and have owned this vacuum for over one year.

I really like the Garage Pro. It has few flaws, and those few are minor, probably couldn’t even call them “flaws”. I think that the cord ought to be longer for a device like this, considering it is intended to be wall-mounted.

The super-long hose is awesome; I have the vacuum mounted in one corner of the two car garage and can clean both cars (a sedan and a minivan) with little struggle. The only issue is when you find something you don’t want to vacuum or need to turn the suction off for a minute, that super long hose puts you a long way from the power switch! So what I did was purchase a remote-controlled plug-in switch from a hardware store.

Problem solved! If you do the same thing, be sure to consider the Amperage and Voltage specifications on the vacuum and be sure the remote-controlled switch will meet or exceed that. I do not use the vacuum for cleaning up such things as wet leaves in the garage, as others had noted in reviews that it didn’t work well for.

I instead use my brain to determine that there is no vacuum one should use to suck up wet leaves in the garage, just blow them out or rake them up. On the topic of blowing, I have not used the vacuum as a blower so can’t comment on that functionality.

If Bissell incorporated a remote-controlled power function on this vacuum it would be PERFECT, but as it stands it is a very nice unit that was a good investment for me. I can just walk to the garage to clean up the cars, instead of driving them back and forth to a car wash.

And after one year I still consider it to be a well manufactured unit.

Just so you know, this is NOT a Shop Vac. The hose is 32 feet (!) and pretty narrow, so things that a shop vac would suck up in your garage tend to get stuck in this hose. Due to the length, getting things unstuck from this hose is a chore.

That negative aside, if you are looking for a vacuum to clean up sawdust, dust bunnies, vacuum your car in your garage this is a good vacuum. Once I get the leaves and years of debris out of my garage, I think this will work just fine.

Had this vac for 3 years and use it more than my expensive upright. When I first opened the box and took it out I thought it was the cheapest thing I ever bought but to my surprise it’s a tough little guy.

It’s incredibly light weight and that’s why I choose to use it over others. The fact that it’s a dry/wet vac is a plus. It’s easy to bring outside to vacuum the car and porch too. It’s not a heavy duty vac so consider what you need it for before purchasing.

It may be a little more work to empty because it’s a canister and not a bag. I’ve washed the filter bag and the inside of the canister with out a problem. One thing to be aware of is when it tips over the unit shuts off and you have to turn it off and on again to resume.

I will purchase another should this one fail one day. For someone who has lifting issues like myself it is great.

It seemed to be working fairly well, but over time, maybe a year and a half now, the suction power is minimal and it’s not working like a shop vac should be working. I’m not sure why it lost its suction power.

I was using it correctly and only for dry debris. I emptied it and cleaned the dirt collection pouch, and it still fails to properly suck up dry debris without me having to crouch down really low to the ground, making the whole 3 extension tubes virtually useless.

I’m going to research and see what can be done about this loss of suction power, because it if were not for that issue, I would have rated this product higher.

I was searching for something to help clean up after the dog, easy to handle for wet/dry situations. It was easy enough to put together and seems to work great. I have used it for much more then I had intended.

I find myself reaching for it instead of my regular vacuum since it has proven versatile and powerful. Easy to switch from wet to dry. Target delivered it right away which was very convenient. Nice hardworking machine.

Bonus is no bags to fool with.

I bought this vacuum several months ago. I wasn’t expecting this amount of value for the price. I’ve used it almost daily since I bought it and it has been the best vacuum I’ve ever purchased. I have dogs, birds, and kids, and it has been a lifesaver when cleaning up messes.

I’ve even used it to spot clean my carpet and furniture when my carpet cleaner died and I have to admit, this little Vacmaster did better than the carpet cleaner even when it was in its prime! It is small enough to carry around if needed, and the wheels make it easy to maneuver.

As long as you take care of it and understand its limitations, you will not be disappointed. The hose circumference is not huge, but if you don’t try to pick up everything at once (as with any vacuum), it works wonderfully.

When it loses suction, it just needs to be cleaned out and it goes right back to being the little workhorse that it is. I needed an extension cord for it as the cord is rather short, but that is an easy fix as well for the value of this vacuum.

Absolutely love this vacuum! I clean houses on the side and wanted a better vacuum to have to clean without using my own personal vacuum. Some of the houses I clean are vacant rental properties and have things like rat droppings, dead bugs, etc.

So by getting this vacuum, it prevented me from using my own vaccuum and spread the germs. This thing is absolutely amazing! Makes cleaning super fast and has great suction power. Also super easy to clean.

Once through cleaning one of the properties, I can easily just rinse out the bottom with water to clean good, and it has easily changeable filters to change from dry to wet vacuuming.

Don’t be fool by the look of it. You get what exactly what you pay for. This is a very cheap ALL plastic vac. Yes 100% cheap plastic. I hate most is the plastic stiff hose. The hose is small (1 inch) and very stiff hard to bent unlike those flexible one.

It will not last long. The cord is short but you can always add extension. The 3 little 1foot long tubes you can connect together to use as a wand don’t have any mechanism what-so-ever to hold them together.

Tried to insert them into one another to make a 3 foot long wand to vaccumm the floor and they kept falling off. Urhhh darn it. stupid design. Someone said this vac is quite. That person should have his/her hearing checked.

This darn thing is as LOUD as it can be. The filter? There is no real filter, it just a cheap cloth bag pull over the suction the tunnel and they call it “filter” and BTW, that is the “dry” vac filter, if you want to use it for wet vac, you will have to change this bag to a very thin foam piece.

I really don’t think this bag would stay on after couple times being interchanged with the wet vac foam filter. The wet vac foam filter, judging by how thin it is I don’t think it would last after couple times of use.

I really don’t think this vac is worth the money. This one is going back to Walmart.

Researched many vacs before deciding on this model. I wanted a wall mountable, not overly large, and easy to carry. I mounted the unit on the garage wall by the entrance to primarily vacuum my cars. It takes less room than the other wall mountable vacs I looked at and isn’t too wide from the wall.

I love the bottom drawer for the attachments, again out of the way and not on the sides. I haven’t fully tested it yet but the suction is quite sufficient for my purpose. *The only design flaw I see is the lockable latch which “is supposed to” lock the unit to the back bracket.

* The latch could be stronger and wider to lock the vac in, but an easy lock and unlock movement. If you want something small, convenient and wall mountable, this one is worth looking at. I highly recommend it.

I really like my Craftsman Wet/Dry Vac and love that I can wall mount it. There are so many great things about this Wet/Dry Vac so here are my pros and my one con. Pros: The large switch on top of the Wet/Dry Vac makes it easily accessible with gloves on which is great when you are messy and trying to hit a button.

The Wall mount holds the accessories, hoses, and hose extensions that way they are not hanging off the Wet/Dry Vac on the ground. The Wet/Dry Vac comes with two hoses one 8 foot and the other around 14 feet.

They can be attached to one another which is awesome and makes the hose about 22 feet long. The accessories included are a utility tool, dusting brush, and two different crevices tools. The Wet/Dry Vac is not heavy and the hoses and accessories are light.

The Wet/Dry Vac has nice large quarter turn locking latches on the sides which make it easy to empty and keeps the dust tightly in the Wet/Dry Vac until you are ready to empty it. The wall housing has two locks to put the hose extenders on and the accessories have their own cubby to put them in.

The Wet/Dry Vac sits nice and tight in the wall mount. The Wet/Dry Vac has a diffuser which is nice because it keeps the shop vac exhaust from blowing the dirt around. The suction is strong and what you would expect from a Craftsman tool.

The blower works well too: we dried our car and dog with it and it worked perfectly. The Wet/Dry Vac was able to pickup dirt, small screws, and wood particles with ease. Cons: The only drawback is that the Wet/Dry Vac sits on top of the area the accessories are located so you have to take the Wet/Dry Vac off to get to them.

The Craftsman Wet/Dry Vac is quality made and perfect for home or work. The 5 gallon capacity makes it easy to move around and take it with you to a job. It is a well built Wet/Dry Vac and what I would expect from the Craftsman line.

Great to have a vacuum that you can use to clean an entire car without having to drag it around and that the hoses don’t reach. Fittings swivel on the hose making it easy to work with. Tool storage tray is adequately sized.

Even supply the mounting screws. Impressed by the engineering put into the product. AC cord storage is good. Only sticks out from the wall 12 inches. Would recommend to anyone.

Assembly is trivial, but I noticed right away the extremely short power cord. I’ve got extensions but this immediately giving me a frowny face b/c a shop vac should have a 10 to 12 ft cord. Next was the very short hose.

Again shop vacs are getting pulled into all sort of spaces and locations. A 4ft hose doesn’t cut it. Plus it’s such a tiny diameter, I’ll have to hunt around for a longer one. It’s almost a joke. I didn’t want a huge shop vac, but looking at what just cost me over $80 I’m thinking just getting something from Harbor Freight.

It’s slim cylinder design aids in storing this vacuum and it’s very powerful suction made vacuuming sand from my jeep a breeze. It’s lots of attachments and extension tubes are perfect for just about any job.

The top motor easily comes off for ease of emptying but snaps on securely when replaced. Very light weight but not top heavy at all so no tipping over when stretching the hose to access tough to reach spots.

Overall I would say 5 star product and I’m very glad I purchased mine.

I love that it is mounted up out of the way, so you don’t have to go digging it out to use it. Suction is very good, and very quiet. Hose management is an issue. With 50′ of hose, a simple hose reel isn’t really enough and the one provided really isn’t large enough to contain the hose.

Really need to include some time of management for the accessories as well, at this price point a cheap bag isn’t cutting it. Love that it is made in America, and to me that is worth whatever premium you are paying.

If they would get the small details right, it would be 5 starts.

The vacuum is very well built; very well packaged and performs as well as any vac I have ever owned. The only disappointment is that it is not as pictured. I thought the label with the checkered flag gave it a Nascar look.

But the one I received had none of the checkered pattern on the label (see pic). Still love it though.

This purchase is my second Gv50pro and will be mounted in my garage. The other is in my horse stable and is used every day. It has performed flawlessly for at least 6 years and is still going strong.

I have no reason to beleive the new one will not serve me equally as well, keeping my vehicles and garage dust free for many years to come.

Easy to mount in my garage. Runs quietly. 50 foot hose has ample suction. HEPA filter is a plus. All attachments stored in hanging mesh bag. Hose storage hanger is included. No complaints. This was a good buy for me.

Ok, I admit it just arrived 2 days ago but I couldn’t wait to unbox it and hang it up in my garage. My last garage vac was an inexpensive wall mounted shop vac which I thought had decent suction. It died after a somewhat long life.

So this time around, now the owner of 2 cars not one, I wanted the best garage vacuum, dry and wet, that I could find. I had never heard of Prolux, I’ve had Electrolux vacuums in the past but never a Prolux.

After all the reading, this one sounded like a winner. I need a vacuum with a lonnnng hose, plenty of suction and reliable tools for my cars, plus this Prolux hose reached my front porch! I’ve always used my blower for the garage and porch but now I can vacuum them OR blow them out.

I also am Mom to two adorable blue merle Corgis and one outstanding Shepherd/American Bulldog mix. The hair that accumulates in the SUV is unbelievable and I did have an add on brushroll accessory for the old vac but Prolux actually gave me one for free and it works so much better for hair.

My other car is ‘my baby’, an all black convertible, BMW Roadster, that never sees a car wash. I have set up a perfect car wash here, with deionized water filters, pressure washer, special drying towels, etc.

You get the idea. I do baby her and black, shows EVERYTHING. I tried the Prolux on its black carpet, OMG, I can’t believe how easy it was even with ground in stuff. I may never heard of Prolux before, but I will never forget them.

When my current vacuum for the house goes out, I’ll be back!.

I have only had my Prolux a few weeks but I will say I love its. It seems very durable and certainly works well. I like all the attachments to select from. I even liked the instructions. Good images to help walk through the set up and added some humor in there.

I think this machine is well worth what it cost. I now have the shop vac I wanted in my garage without having to keep moving it out of my way. Yes I recommend Prolux all the way.

Love my new Prolux wall mounted vac. Bought it intending to keep it in the garage to help detail my interior. Loved all the attachments, but it really saved the day when my hvac system went haywire and I needed to use it as a wet vac.

Saved my house and still pulling strong. Best of all the unit is light for it’s size and easy to clean on those occasions that I need to pull it out of the garage. Wonderful design, excellent power, and actual people working in customer service of you happen to need anything.

I saw this vacuum at my son-in-law’s and knew instantly that this is what I had to have. Why? No more lugging a shop vac behind me. An extremely long hose the reaches all my needs. An attachment for any cleaning job whether it be sucking or blowing.

It’s neat, clean looking and off the ground. And the biggest positive is it has great power from a small unit that takes up hardly any space. I’m in love with this vacuum and I highly recommend it.

I bought this machine after doing a little research and comparing options in my price range, and everything has met or exceeded my expectations. The suction is stronger than most commercial car wash vacuums I’ve used, and the shampoo option is just a cherry on top.

The company is very responsive when things go wrong. There was an issue with one of my attachments, and they handled it free of charge right away. This is a great home addition!!!.

Even through the 50 ft hose this vacuum has great suction. Perfect for the garage and all the chores that come with it. It’s a good looking unit that is easy to install and manage. Would recommend to friends.
