20 Best Vacuum Hair Clippers (2022 Updated)

This is my second vacuum clipper I purchased. My first one was used monthly for my husband’s head hair cut and body hair trimming. The vacuum draws most every hair into it’s easy remove compartment and the blade has always been sharp, never pulling hair thus making my haircutting easy.

The other thing nice about this product is that it comes with a short comb attachment for use on mens eyebrows as well as neatening men’s body hair, like chest, back ect. It’s lightweight design allows the user to trim a good volume of hair anyplace on ones body without the extra weight like other trimmers I’ve had in the past.

This new model takes the same comb attachments as the older model. They have improved the AC cord plug to be smaller and much lighter than the last one which is nicer in handling. I’ve had my first clipper for over ten years and the only reason I had to purchase the second one is due to the plastic tab that holds the trim Combs had snapped off.

I understand why manufacturers use plastics however being plastic causes the user to handle it carefully. One drop may crack plastic so use carefully. This is a nice hair clipper, the best for the price range and has always handled a good length if use time while doing full body, head to foot hair trimmings.

This is my 2nd purchase in almost 20 years and id certainly purchase another should the need arise.

In college I cut my own hair to save money, and still do 30 years later when short on time or don’t want to risk exposure to infectious diseases. These work well, and there’s no clean up because they vacuum the hair up as you go.

In the box is literally everything you need to cut, and maintain your clippers. Oil, comb, hairclips, guards, scissors, and a pouch. More professionals should use them. One piece of advice, oil your clippers every time, and if they’re not perfect every time, spend a few minutes and clean the hair out, it’s easy and keeps your blades from dulling.

Tried a self-cut with this device. The vacuum works very well – I had put down a towel to catch any stray hair but couldn’t find any. It’s been 2 1/2 month since my last cut. Now that barbers are off-line I decided to get this unit because it’s got a nice selection of guides and the vacuum feature.

The power cord is very long, so maneuvering is not hampered. A bit tricky doing the cut on myself. Looking in a mirror. 🙂 The longest length hair guide is 1 inch and I usually prefer close to 2 in on top.

Managed to do a decent cut. The side combs will cut your hair very short around your ear, so be careful. About a half-hour of fiddling around. Overall I would definitely reccomend this hair cutting kit.

This trimmer not only has a vacuum feature but it also has a quick cleaning feature that allows water to run through the trimmer to easily facilitate cleaning. I do recommend to read the instructions that come with this nose hair trimmer since there’s a bit more going on with this device then your typical throw away trimmer.

As for cutting ability it’s like a little lawnmower for your nose. It just trims and sucks away the hair without a glitch. The size of this trimmer is on the bigger side but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

After all how often does anyone use a nose hair trimmer? Once a month or maybe once every other week? I also have the less expensive Panasonic ER430 which I’ve had for five years. It’s been flawless and has kept it’s blades sharp all this time.

I oil the blades every time I clean the unit which is every other use. The ER430 isn’t water resistant like this trimmer is so I have to take it apart to clean it up. However this trimmer it’s also recommend to take it apart so all the parts dry faster.

As for trimming ability the ER430 is also a fine product. But this trimmer with it’s higher voltage motor is just more powerful and a bit more convenient. As usual Panasonic has delivered a great grooming product.

Purchased & used for about 1 month (& I am not a compensated reviewer). So far, simply the best nose hair trimmer I’ve owned, & I’ve tried many different brands / models. Most are badly designed, in my opinion.

A high speed motor on this model allows for very effective, fast & clean nose hair cutting. Simple as that. The ‘vacuum’ feature captures cut hairs & is a plus too. This Panasonic model has a quality ‘feel’ / build to it which is a noticeable improvement over some others.

Don’t even bother looking at other models, just get this one & you’ll be happy!.

I bought this unit to replace its predecessor. Like the original, the new trimmer performs well, is quick to use and is easy to clean. I do hope the new unit is more durable. The original died after five years.

Given the price and the fact that it runs on batteries, five years may be considered reasonable life-expectancy. I was still willing to buy the latest model (the replacement model for my first trimmer) because I was pleased with the hair cutting performance of the original.

So far, so good.

The vacuum feature works well. However, after following the instructions and charging prior to my first use the battery died or the motor stalled/locked up. I spent a day turning the shaver on until I completely drained the battery and then tried again charging over night.

So far the trimer has not stalled again. The beard guide works well and snaps into place and is locked there which is better than my previous trimmer which could slide out of place if you were not carful.

The unit is very long and then even longer when the detail trimer is attached. The detail trimmer is the biggest source of frustration aside from the anxiety I have that the trimmer will lock up again.

With he detail trimmer attached you either have to have an unruly amount of length between you and your beard, or choke up your grip and block the air vent, decreasing the efficacy of the vacuum. Also the detail trimmer seems dull or weak, it snags and pinches the skin on my neck pretty badly.

For the price I guess I am not super shocked, that something sucked but it is a drag that I may need to get another detail trimmer. But the Vacuum works well and that keeps my girlfriend happy and saves me clean up time.

If you already have a detail trimmer that works and you want to be more tidy when you trim maybe consider this, but if this going to be your only trimmer and you do any kind of fine or edge work this is not the tool for you.

The blade is good and cuts well, the body feels very chunky in your hands because of the size of the vacuum fan. With the length guide on, the blade is set back quite a way, trimming under your nose is next to impossible, however, the rest of the beard it’s great, very smooth.

Glides well and catches all the random hairs that normally take 4-5 passes to get. Vacuum works for about 90-95% of the hair and holds quite a bit. If the fan was smaller (but just as effective) then the body would be smaller and then the blade would be closer to the edge when the length guide is on.

If your not worried about trimming your moustache or fine with finishing manually then this is a great trimmer with very little mess. A charge stand would have been useful.

This trimmer is a perfect example of poor design, bad manufacturing and perfect advertisement! After first and only use of trimmer top part cracked, I noticed it when finished cutting. in order to empty vacuum in the middle of cut you need to disassemble almost entire unit, then assemble all parts back to continue your cutting.

because of it you need to readjust cutting length again using scale with tiniest numbers against tiniest pointer! Doing that you need to push green color button which got broken on the first session I used trimmer! Terrible experience! Surely will go back to Norelco products.

I used to have a really mediocre nose trimmer. It felt and knew it wouldn’t last long and broke within a few uses. But right out of the box, this Panasonic nose trimmer felt so much more amazing in the hand and pretty good quality.

After my first use, I have to say I could tell this thing will last me a while. I really like the vacuuming feature! I really recommend this trimmer if you’re upgrading from a really lower end nose trimmer.

Not to bad of a trimmer. I mean its priced decently and it works. So i guess you could say it’s a good buy. Only issue i had was a when putting the battery and first turning on, apparently the blade cartridge wasnt locked down correctly and upon hitting the power switch it went flying apart in like 2-3 pieces.

Once I found them and put them all together, it worked like it should.

I purchased one in the early 90s, well built. I purchased another in 2020, CHEAP! It cost about 3 times as much as it did back then. The company is like most other companies now, all about profit. The materials are cheaper, the hose kinks easily, no elasticity.

Even the power supply cord is cheap. Pretty sure it won’t last. They even put it in a cheap box, barely fits in the box. I sure miss the good ol’ days when customer satisfaction was priority. Disappointed in the company that made a once good product.

As a guy who has been getting his hair cut in Beverly Hills for over 30 years there’s a new barber in town and a change at the top, my top. Due to Covid-19 I could not see my hair stylist though he could come to my home but I did not want that.

So I had to figure out another way to get a haircut. Well thank you Mr. Clooney! I never in my life would have ever thought about a Flowbee but Clooney mentioned it and I said what the heck. Goodbye Beverly Hills Hello Flowbee! It’s fantastic! It’s fun, it works and I am saving time spent driving, money spent on gas, money paid out to a shampoo person or a hair stylist.

Oh and did I mention it works.

I have about 3 months with the tool and I use it constantly without any problem, the accessories are just what I need.

I have only used it once but so far I am impressed. We have Three Giant Schnauzers. On grooming day with corded clippers I could get two dogs done do to blade heat, wiggly impatient dogs, and groomer fatigue.

With the cordless I did two dogs very quickly with no clipper heat issues. I started on the third dog but battery died after a few minutes. The battery lasted about five hours of continuous use. With this clipper, My dogs were more relaxed because I groomed them on the floor instead of using the grooming table.

My two 12 year olds are getting a little shaky and being able to let them lie down on the floor helps all three of us. Two of my dogs are soft coat and the other is hard coat. This clipper did great on both coat types.

Only negative is I wish it came with a second battery and the charger base to store and charge the second battery. Not a big deal, I did purchase a second battery.

So far I’m pretty impressed with these. I have two doodles that have thick coats and are difficult to clip so I invested in these. They work well even on the male who’s coat is almost like sheep wool.

I notice they do get quite warm after 10 minutes or so, so I have to check the blade hotness with my hand for longer grooming sessions. I am also a little bummed they send it with the #10 blade as that’s more for face and ears on my dogs, so I have to invest another 50+ to a new blade for the right cut.

All in all though I am very pleased.

I purchased these clippers to use on two standard poodles and a horse. So far I have only used them to cut my horses bridle path and they worked great. It was her first time with clippers and they didn’t scare her at all.

They are louder than I’d like but they have low vibration.

So definitely wasn’t a fake. If you’re like me when I was shopping buying for this low of a price is scary. But I will say you get what you pay for. The blade is the basic metal taper blade with the groves so don’t expect the graphite blade.

Btw I purchased the fx870s (silver) for exact purchase if that matters to you (it does for me). It’s a good clipper and has a quality feel. The click lever with the notches is a favorite of mine right now since it helps you not get lost in the fade.

The shipping was as expected and arrived on time.

Everything is good, saw some reviews that said you could get a used one that didn’t work… so I bought the insurance with it since it’s still like 70$ under Amazon. Got it and it felt like someone else had it but it was way too clean and everything was packed nicely.

Had some charge on it that lasted for like 20 minutes without charge… everything seems to work fine so far. It’s been like 2 weeks and used it like 3-4 times already so all good. Better prices than Amazon or anywhere else! (They are original not replicas).

I bought these clippers as my barn does not have electricity. I hoped they could work well, but it took 3 days to fully clip my horse. It kept saying it was charged, but it wouldn’t move the blade. It took days of oiling and charging to get the job done (all blades used were new out the package).

Now it’s 100s outside this summer and I want to clip again, but it won’t charge. I had it sit on the charger for a week and the battery is still red. For the amount of money I spent, I expected so much more.

The fact that this barely survived one clip is truly disappointing.

Purchased this product online, delivery was on time and well packaged! Upon opening the package, the device itself looked nice and sharp but it felt rather cheap for the amount of money spent. While trying to test it out I noticed that the charge cord was as flimsy and useless as they come.

The darn thing won’t stay plugged into the device, it didn’t bother me much as I started using it after the required initial charge duration. All the lights indicators worked fine. My first shave was smooth and efficient but after 2 weeks of use, the shaver was blunt as a rock.

Though I cleaned it often it didn’t help, then I noticed that the shiny bronze look has not turned into some dingy color. Anyway, I will not recommend this gadget to anyone unless you feel like burning some money.

This is my honest and humble opinion.

These are just fabulous. I don’t know why someone on here said they are heavy?? They are like the lightest clippers on the earth short of a trimmer. I clip 2-3 horses in a setting and swap between these and my 2 speed.

These clip actually much nicer! I have had them for about a year and I have never had the other problems mentioned by others, but I suppose it’s like everything else these days, quality may vary? In any event, these are my favorite clippers to use and high quality.

This is an outstanding product that suits me perfectly. I’d say it performs as well as, or even better than, my normal barber’s kit. The vacuum feature performs as expected, and there is less hair to brush away after using this device than when I go to the barber’s chair! I’m an older guy who likes a no muss, no fuss short haircut — but that’s difficult to get during this pandemic.

These shears make my life easy and save me big bucks. After two or three at-home cuts with this, it’s paid for itself compared to going to the barber! Of course, when a simple buzz cut is all you need, you don’t fiddle with “styling” options.

I can’t comment on how a woman or someone with very long hair would use this kit, that would require more barber skills than I have. For my needs, this is a keeper and well worth every penny!.

My little Yorkie loves getting his hair trimmed “now”, because the hair doesn’t fall in his face. And I love that the hair doesn’t end up all over the house. My sister is a beautician and I ordered her a set and she loved them.

She burned up one set and ask me to order her another set and she wanted one corded and one cordless. I ordered them for her and she is delighted. She said all of her customers love not having the hair going down in their shirt collars.

Amazing – It works! A product that actually does what it is intended to do. This vacuum hair clipper actually cuts hair to the height of the comb guides and collects nearly all of the hair in the small compartment.

Having used conventional hair clippers, I was annoyed that the comb guides didn’t hold the hair up so that it could be cut. Wetting the hair helped a bit, which is unnecessary with the vacuum clipper.

Well worth the price. I recommend it.

I just used my Remington (Miracle Working) vacuum trimmer today for the 1st time. I am truly blown away at the Perfect job it did on my hair. I’ve always been “challenged” to say the least at the stylist to get a good, consistent cut every time.

This trimmer is the PERFECT TOOL, because it has Empowered ME to do the cut myself and do it Well! The vacuum concept is ingenious. I’ve thought so ever since I watched the Flowbee ad yrs. ago. This one is a lot less expensive though.

I would highly recommend this vacuum trimmer to anyone that wants to give themselves a great haircut or let anyone else give them a perfect haircut for free EVERY TIME, after paying for the trimmer. This is an answer to prayer for me.

It’s just that Powerful. I am so grateful that I can now give myself a perfect haircut every time. What a Neat Gift! Go out.

I use and abuse this. I use it on my face and my head (I shave my head with it about every two weeks). My first one lasted years, I’m honestly not even sure how many, before it stopped holding a charge.

Eventually it got to the point where it wouldn’t hold a charge even while plugged in, so I replaced it with the exact same thing. It’s been about a year, and my second one is still going strong. I typically charge it for about an hour before I start shaving, and it’ll easily last the entire time it takes me to shave my face and head (45ish minutes).

I’m sure there’s still plenty of battery left when I put it back in the drawer, too. I’ve never had any issues with it not getting close enough, even after years of using it on my head, which it’s not recommended for.

Would definitely recommend.

This trimmer works great. It has various features that make it perfect for using it daily and it works wonderfully as there are many uses for it. The best thing about it has to be the battery tech. Has a solid professional feel to it.

I also like the fact the battery is LiON so no memory build up, it lasts a long time and charges quickly. I wished some of the parts were metal, but the plastic used is a good/solid feel to it. Very handy and grippy.

Perfect for daily use.

I love this trimmer as it does excellent job. My previous Wahl trimmer was about 5 yrs old and was it’s time to go. It lasted well, but I needed newer models and power. Lithium battery lasts for good times between cuts and shape ups.

Charges very quick This takes care of most of the hair mess, which I love. Don’t have too much mess in my bathroom anymore. The easiness of it, let’s me trim my hair every week or two now. It’s very simple and easy to use.

And effective yet gentle.

I LOVE this vacuum. We recently moved into a new house and my bulky 8 year old corded Dyson was difficult to use in the layout of our new place because of furniture and outlet locations, and it found my new Ruggables very challenging.

So I decided to take the plunge and give a cordless a try. I had already owned a Bissell dust buster and I loved it, so I went with this Bissell vacuum and I’m so glad I did! It seems to handle my living space just fine on one charge (living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 hallways, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms).

My laundry room off the kitchen is too small to actually have it hang on the wall because of our tankless water heater, so I just lean it against the wall. I had a little trouble with this until I put a rug underneath to stop it from rolling forward since it can’t lock standing up (which is just about my only real criticism of it).

This vacuum handles my Ruggables just fine, one with the thicker pad and one with the thinner pad. In fact I can use it on the lower power setting on the Ruggables. I also love how quiet this vacuum is.

I would often use earplugs with my Dyson because it seemed so loud to me. No problems with this one! I do find it a little cumbersome to use as a dust buster, so I usually stick to my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser instead if I need it.

The only other thing I don’t like about this vacuum is removing the filter to dump the cannister. It’s difficult to pull out, so I end up having to pull harder than I want to and it just pops out and often dust goes all around my trash can when that happens.

Still, I love this vacuum. I love how quiet it is and I never knew what I was missing with the headlights! They’re awesome!.

I have a lab that sheds and the brush and deshed tool work effortlessly. The coolest product out there and so glad I bought it. Also used on my friends Frenchie and she hates vacuums (barks and bites at them) he didn’t say a word to this and sat/stood nicely while we gave him a brush down.

The machine comes apart easy for cleaning and goes back together. There is a bag to keep all the attachments for easy storage. If you need something that you can use daily to brush and keep hair at bay.

This is it. Don’t wait!!!.

This is a smooth running machine. Light in weight and easy on your hands and arms when doing a full fitting on medium livestock. Not to confuse with the clippers being light duty, this is a heavy duty machine that withstands multiple fittings on a single charge.

Holds a good charge for hours, and easy to change out blades on the fly. A must for fitting show stock.

I’ve bought and returned these clippers TWICE! I had the previous model and loved them so I chose to upgrade. These worked perfectly for maybe 4-5 months and then no longer turned on. The battery will be fully charged but the power switch doesn’t work.

They are also very heavy and strain your wrists. I loved how powerful these cordless clippers are but I hate to keep returning them.

This product is extremely versatile with the fact that it caters to all my grooming needs with the vast amount of attachments that comes with it. Due to me preferring a cleaner shave the most used attachment by far is the standard larger shaving one (typical clipper attachment).

I use this daily to shave my face as its quick and convient to use compared to your typical razer. It cut s through the facial hair nicely and with over a years worth of use I have had only one time when it was low on battery when it pulled.

My second go to attachment is the body shaving one which I use with the skin guard on this works great though when used wet it can miss a few hairs. Which is why I have given a 4 star and not a 5. In terms of charging its fantastic I only need to charge once every 10 days.

Though when I use for my body I may need to charge sooner due to longer usage time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a convient way to shave both face and body and if you have a beard it would be ideal due to different attachment size as well as the detailer attachment.

I have deducted one star because of Phillips wasting my time and refusing to publish my previous review because I ‘mentioned a competitor’. This is insane because of course people make purchasing decisions based on what else is available on the market, and may compare a shaver to one they have used in the past.

OK, so I bought this shaver to replace an aging [rusty kitchen knife] made by [elves in a mountain cave]. The old [rusty kitchen knife] had served me well for many years but was falling apart frankly, and had to be held together with sticky tape to stop the blade catching and pulling hairs.

Anyway, it was a pleasure to use the Phillips shaver for the first time. It cuts easily and smoothly with no suspicion of pulling or catching. I mainly used the bare normal-width cutter on my head, and used that cutter with various comb atttachments for the beard.

Both worked very well. I think in the end the only attachment I need is the adjustable-length comb attachment. It’s really hard to fault this Phillips Series 7000 shaver/trimmer. Just a couple of things: 1.

In common with the [rusty kitchen knife] I used before, it is possible to accidentally turn this item on in a bag when travelling, but unlike the [rusty kitchen knife] I cannot take the batteries out to prevent this when travelling, so I will have to devise some way of overcoming this problem.

The ON/OFF switch in fact is very flat and very easy to activate inadvertently. A shame the designers did not think of this. 2. The main trimmer attachment does not shave as close as the [rusty kitchen knife] from [those famous elves] I had used before, but life is short and so is the number of days a really short trim will stay short, so it’s fine.

3. I think it is a bit weird these days to make a product that cannot be charged from a stadard USB charger point, or from a computer USB socket. Keep up, Phillips! Otherwise it’s a good bit of kit. I have read reviews saying that these Series 7000 shavers have been failing suddenly electrically after a few months, but I decided to take a punt, and I’m glad I did.

I’ve made sure to take advantage of all available (free!) extended warranties from Phillips, by registering the product, etc, so if it does flake out in that period they should send me a new one, and I’m happy with that.

In short, it’s a good shaver.

The product worked well and as expected. Ordered it after lot of comparison between Braun and Phillips. Ordered this during lockdown to attempt a haircut. It worked well and did its job well:) Beard trimming was excellent too, yet to body groom so no comments as yet.

The packaging was pretty disappointing. The box was de-shaped everything inside was out of place, few attachment in sealed packets and some in loose open – everything was full of dust. I had read reviews that there was supposed to be hard case but there was none.

It looked like an old stock clearance or some sort of return re-shipped to another customer. Shavershop needs to raise their packaging quality. The delivery was timely no complains. The rating would have been all 5s if it was packaged well.

I did’t quite get the feel of buying a new product due to poor packing. Learn from other biggest online retailer on how to package to delight customers :).
