11 Best Vacuum Hair Cutter (2022 Updated)

I have owned this trimmer for just about a year and am still pleased with it. The only thing I wish could be improved is the speed of the trim. My cheap, discarded, $10 nose hair trimmer cut much quicker, but would often nick the inside of my nares.

I have not once been nicked by this trimmer. Pros The trimmer has held up nicely Does not nick inside nares Cons Takes a little longer to make sure all hairs are trimmed I would recommend this trimmer to anyone who wants a trimmer to last longer than a few months and want to avoid nicking the inside of the nares.

Just expect the time to trim to be extended.

I’m not sure this thing even trims your nose hair, I think it simply rearranges it. It certainly makes a lot of noise when it’s in your nostrils, and after a few seconds you might smell something that resembles smoke.

When you pull it out, you’re likely not going to see any fewer hairs. Also, it’s a battery killer. You’re likely if you get two or three uses out of it before you need to replace its AA. It comes with a cute little fabric case, though, so that’s something I guess.

It’s what I started with when I went mad with my nose and it is what I came back to when my last one wore out about 2 years ago. It’s really good for what it was made for, not that loud either. The problem is that actually maintaining it can go wrong quite easily as the small blades are made out of quite a soft metal and bending them by accident can lead to the Shaver giving you a much harsher experience.

Not a dangerous one, just a surprising one. Course, this can’t really be helped all that much as its design takes into account that your nose is quite a sensitive thing to stick small metal blades into so it is designed to not hurt you hence why damaging it makes it a bit more harmful.

For anyone reading this. I’d say still give it a go and be careful when you clean it. It is very easy to use, not that distressing and I’d say it would save you a lot of bother. Just don’t damage the blades and don’t use it too frequently as you may get a slightly sore nose from it.

Since the Corona virus, no barbers! The clippers work well, I have a simple haircut, and therefore its easy to use. The end of the hose end that goes to the vacuum will not work immediately for everyone because its a round flat end that I had to hold to my vacuum hose to make it work.

But we have 3 vacuums and its worked with the last one.

Doesn’t replace a Flowbee. The vacuum attachment doesn’t pull the up so that it trims at a constant length like the Flowbee. The vacuum attachment is a cheap plastic attachment that’s lower quality than the main trimmer.

Great one time investment allowed us to cut the rising cost of my husband’s weekly visits to the barber to shave his head. Hefty in feel and moves smoothly over he skin. Nicely developed guards to avoid nicks and cuts.

I have owned a succession of hair clippers, some corded, some cordless, various brands including Philips. None have really ‘cut the mustard’. All seemed to be toys compared with the tools that professional barbers use.

My last, a corded heavyweight item, was temperamental and finally failed completely. Reluctantly tried once more, this good-looking Philips unit, and couldn’t be more delighted – it’s a revelation in use.

Especially when it comes to cleaning them. Running the blades under a tap to get rid of all the fine hair that seemed impossible to get rid of in the past, was weird at first, but now I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It feels and looks like you are using a brand new clipper each time you trim your hair, as washing the blades in water allows for a easier clean process to hair cutting. Convert! You will not be disappointed.

Not only for the quiet, easy and cordless free trimming that lasts up to 90 minutes. The cleaning process will save you time and money.

here is my review of the Philips Series 5000 Hair Clipper which it says its designed to be more durable, it’s built to last and aims to save time with it’s use compared to other brands/products, so I put it to the test.

The cutting element, is made from titanium blades and adjustable beard and hair combs which means they are designed to give you a fast, sharp cut, time after time – plus they are made to last and from my use via my beard/chest/hair I can confirm they are much quicker than my old clippers! It’s also great to have the option of being corded or not-I had no problem with charge length-managed to do beard/chest and hair and still had ‘juice left in the tank’.

I liked the length setting on the Philips Series 5000 Hair Clipper-easy to use/change to suit your needs, easy to clean, and durable. Combs are super easy to clean under the tap. When I found my last set of clippers I managed to get one which doesn’t ‘anger’ my skin on my face-these clippers have been designed to work with your face/hair because they have rounded combs and blade tips which move smoothly over the skin so it’s a better experience with less irritation.

Overall it has exceeded my expectation I have been using my old clippers for year-old faithful, know what you’re getting and was dubious of trying something new and whether it would live up to its claim-surprisingly they did and would highly recommend giving them a go! No adverse effects super easy to use, does what it says on the box!.

I have used my first one for over 23 years on myself (exclusively the FlowBee, no other cuts), and multiple other family members as well (some on intermittent basis as available). Has saved a lot in that time, paying for itself many times over! And with good results! My hair is difficult for stylists to cut and get a good look, but with the FlowBee I can get consistent good results, the way I want it, every time.

And right here at home, when ever it is convenient, no appointments or travel time lost. and I don’t have to wear a mask or worry about social distancing to get it done. Without a doubt one of the very best products I have ever bought! When I have the time I will repair the simple wire that finally came loose inside my first one after so many years of regular and heavy use, and fully expect to get much more use out of it yet.

But the day that it did not work, I jumped on the internet immediately to see if they were still available out there. I was very pleased to see they were, and that the design is virtually unchanged over all this time.

So they have not cheapened the product over time, and that is so rare! Using the new one is just like using my original. Very very pleased with this product! Though this one did cost a little more than the first one over23 years ago, I am confident that this second one is going to be well worth it as well.

Overall I am satisfied after 2 haircuts but will have to see how things hold up. The plastic spacers seem to be flimsy and one piece did break from a fall off the counter. Luckily there are good plastic glues available so I was able to repair before second use.

Replacement parts are expensive if they are going to be the same low-grade plastic. For the price I did expect higher quality. I cut my own hair first after watching online videos. Everything went well though the back of my head was the most difficult.

It will better in the future has I become more familiar with everything. Next I cut my grandson’s hair and everyone says it looks as good as most shops would do. If the unit lasts like many reviews say they do I know it will be a good long-term investment.

I would recommend to others but remember to be careful with the plastic parts, they are more fragile than they appear. Read the instructions, watch a few videos and you will soon be able to do nice looking, basic haircuts.

I was skeptical. I usually have a problem with barbers tapering one side or the other leaving a choppy spiky look. I have fine blond hair. Also tired of the new wave of barbers who shave the sides close and leave the top long, my wife calls it the hitler cut.

The flowbee did an outstanding job. Better than any barber cut Ive had in last five years at least. Took it slow with progressively shorter spacers from top to bottom so I didnt take to much off all at once.

Once I gained confidence I went shorter. Finished up with electric clippers around ears. Highly recommended just take your time and dont take off too much at once.

It does its job as intended but not without it flaws. I bought two for me and my friend just to test it out with me since we both have the same issue ( we grow our beards and shave and trim a lot) and we both had the same feedback.

The stubble does clean our sink from the hair but not efficiently. It size is not very practical to clean the sink 100% as every sink has its corners and edges and the stubble buddy can’t reach these areas since its very big and square like in its shape.

I had to use other tools to gather the hair to a certain place and then remove it using the stubble and here came the second issue with the device, it fills up really quickly! I mean yes i am hairy and i usually shave my thick beard but man this device wasted a lot of my energy and power just to clean it up! For cleaning the hair you need to empty the stubble buddy at least once or twice just to remove all intended hair since its really small size doesn’t have much space to keep all that hair.

It was so exhausting cleaning it up 1-2 times every time I use it(it’s not easy to clean at all) I ended up not using it anymore. If you are really not that hairy and just shave less than often, and have a corner-less sink then this device is for you.

Love the Stubble Buddy! It’s like a mini vacuum! This is exactly what I needed. I kept getting yelled at for making a mess of stumbles in the bathroom after triming my beard, but not no more cause the Stubble Buddy cleans it up for me! Everytime I take my Brio to the bathroom to trim my beard I take my Stubble Buddy in there too.

The Stubble Buddy actually exceeded my expectations. I’ll give it a good 9/10. It has just the right amount of suction from the motor without an excessive amount of noise. It also picks up stubble with ease especially since it has little bristles on the bottom to help loosen stubble that may stick to your counter.

Another plus is that it’s rechargeable so no need for batteries! This little tool definitely comes in handy for cleaning up any facial stubble or manscaping messes from your counter or floor!.

I never used a clipper before myself. In fact I always preferred to pay a visit to a barber shop and give extra tip for scissor haircut (15+ years). The clippers usually hurt a lot or irritate the scalp.

Now with a pandemic outside the barber shops are all closed and I totally had to try something out. This particular clipper didn’t disappoint. I already fell in love with it. Need to improve the technique, but for the first time the result is miraculous.

I perhaps don’t see myself visiting the barber shop in a foreseeable future anymore. Very nicely done, Remington. No scalp irritations, never felt any hair pulling, etc. I am not sure how long the sharpness of the blades will last.

I won’t be using it daily or even weekly. Once a month. So even if it will last for 2-3 years, 5 out of 5 this machine it is. One of a few things things this review is not going to cover is the direct contact with water.

I never tried to rinse the blades (dry brush only) and I used it on absolutely dry hair.

A well designed hair clipper with enough comb attachments for a wide variety of hair styles. Works perfectly, even on coarse, thick and/or curly hair, no tugging or pulling. A lightweight, plastic case is included for storage between haircuts.

Bonus extras include two size cleaning brushes, standard comb, scissors and a cape. One star deducted for the scissors and cape. The scissors are worthless, they couldn’t cut air and the cape is nothing more than a dollar store trash bag, Both ended up in my garbage can.

We’ve only used it once so we are still developing our “skills” as barbers. That said, the clipper itself seems to work well — it’s quiet and has low vibration. (We’ll see just how durable it is. ) The plastic height/hair length guides help, but are not a perfect solution.

At least they prevent you from scalping the victim. The included scissors are pretty poor, they tend to pull the hair and don’t cut that well. Use some good, modern office scissors instead.

As some people say, you have to be careful because it will pull hairs. The trick avoid this is to GO SLOW. I do not recommend using this as your main clipper, it’s more of a cleanup tool, but if you don’t rush it you can do a complete haircut, but I’d advise that you use something bigger and more powerful as a “knockdown” clipper and use the Peanut for fine tuning.

Otherwise, for its size this is a powerful clipper that performs wonderfully, and cuts close to totally bald! I’ve never had a clipper cut so close, and that includes the Wahl balding clipper! It’s light and comfortable to use, and never gets too hot.

As an added bonus, it has a detachable blade that is inexpensive to replace. I love this little clipper, and if you keep it regularly oiled and cleaned it should last for years.

In my 33 years of hairdressing this is probably my 7th or 8th set of these trimmers. I started out using the ones that were cordless and had to be charged every night but these with the cord are the best thing ever.

My first set lasted me a long time. It was the smooth outside case but I do like the texture better. Better gripping power. I’ve had white, purple but my favorite was a koi fish design on it. I believe I bought that one in Amherst NY.

I do stress that this particular machine is heavy, I repeat, it is heavy! However, this brand delivers high quality products and they are a high end brand.

This particular Clipper is a little under $300. 00. You won’t find this particular model just anywhere. I purchased mine through a salon catalog. My fellow stylists had this particular style for over 10 years, so they do last a long time.

I just started my apprenticeship at a local barbershop. The master barber I work under recommended I get this. I literally use it on every single cut! He was wise to tell me to get these! Also needed a little adjustment but after the screws were tightened and the trimmers were zeroed out, I can use much easier.

Okay, this kit is great- I’ve already used it a couple of times on my husband’s and brother’s hair and it’s solid, comes with everything you need. I’m taking off two stars because of my overall purchase experience: originally bought this in-store, and took it home to use it only to find out the the kit had been opened and used already; everything was out of its original packaging, items were missing, the razor didn’t have the protective covering and there was HAIR all over.

SO GROSS. Someone had even taped OVER the original closure tape that you need to break in order to open the kit. The whole thing was disgusting and really turned me off of buying from Target, but my husband really wanted this particular kit, and Target had it the cheapest, so we returned the gross one (the employee who helped with the return didn’t even seem to care that it had been opened, used, and then returned by the way) and bought a new one online.

The new one was, thankfully, brand new with all parts unopened and in pristine condition. So: if you see this in store, I wouldn’t take the chance. Most likely it was a return, so just buy it online.

The product itself is great. I was very happy with the quality of the clippers, the attachments and the variety of accessories that came in the kit. Having a fancy barber’s cloth to drape over my victim was great! However, I was quite irritated by a small card that I found in the box.

It was a request from the company to take a survey, and they promised a free gift if I did so. I followed the link to the survey, gave them a glowing review, then followed the link at the end of the survey to get a free hair pomade.

There were two problems: (one) the discount code provided, which is meant to make the product free, doesn’t work, and (2) you have to pay $12. 95 shipping in order to get the product to your house. Overall, this false promise of a “free gift” has left a sour taste in my mouth for the Wahl company in general.

I don’t want to buy products from a company that feels the need to lure customers to their site to buy more stuff by pretending to reward them for making a purchase in the first place. I went from being very happy with my purchase to super irritated.

Definitely not ideal. [Tl;dr: wonderful product, but ignore the “free gift” insert, to avoid a big headache. ].

Glad I chose this hair clipper. Works great, smooth cut. This model was out of stock at many retailers. Target had it available at a reasonable price and they brought it right out to my car. I wanted to get this model because it had the sturdier guards and better motor, but I almost didn’t get it because it didn’t have the guides for cutting around the ears listed in the description.

When I opened the box they were included even though it’s not even listed on the box from the manufacturer. I couldn’t have been happier with the surprise.

I have given this a 5 * rating as have found that there are very little cons to these cordless hair clippers. The packaging is attractive and gives / shows you a brief outline of the features this has.

It was very easy to open and everything inside was individually wrapped and secured in place so nothing rattled around. Once I checked everything was complete, I dis-guarded the packaging as it comes with a handy pouch that everything fits into.

To charge you simply plug the cable in to the base of the clippers and into the socket. You will notice a green light flashing to let you know it is charging correctly. After around an hour, the light stopped flashing to show they are fully charged and ready to go! Before starting i took another look at all of the different pieces and searched for the instructions.

These are a small booklet with pictures showing you what to do. I found that these did not give me all of the answers I wished to know so this did make the initial process slower. The clippers are quite smart looking with that modern touch to them.

The on / off button is very easy to press and I found holding the clippers very comfortable.
