Bought to redo the 52 year old vacuum lines on my wifes’ 1968 mustang convertible. Fit like a glove. Ordered over the phone because of the coronavirus stay away recommendations. Person at store looked up what size I needed.

This hose worked pretty good in terms of flexibility, except my application called for a clear hose. That was my mistake, something I can’t blame Autozone for. As far as the product itself, though, there’s nothing wrong with it and I’m sure would work for you!.

great vacuum hose as long as it doesn’t get too warm. dont use on any pressurized systems it will inflate like a balloon.

I bought this rubber hose, and it was indeed a rubber freakin hose. It was hard to install as i was extremely drunk at the time. What else can i say?

Very flexible. I wish it had been a bit thinner (smaller outside diameter). The 5/16” hose goes over a 3/8” barb fitting with no problem.

Should last a lot longer than rubber

Item is great quality- a lot of heat under my hood. I have a blower and I removed the heat shield padding on inside of hood. Looks great even after regular driving/ use. Quick wipe with a towel and she’s ready to display at shows.

Easy to cut. Red pops- highly recommend.

I purchased this for the upper radiator hose. It worked for my needs and looked great with the other red mishimoto hoses

I bought vacuum hose from another auto-supply chain and it was extremely flimsy and wouldn’t hold on to where I placed it. I went to Auto-Zone and bought their hose and it was the same size, but substantially stronger and when I placed it, It would not pull off without pushing it off from the end with good force.

Too bad I wasted some money on the other hose.

Purchased the 40foot hose and real together and together I cant suck up a penny. The biggest prodlem is the real leaks so much air the whistling is as loud as the shop vac. I tried the hose directly hooked to the shop vac and it was ok, but you loose I sould say 50% of the vacuums power.

I’m not trying to hate on this product, I thought it was the answer to so many of my life stresses, but it turned out to be worthless. I consider Rockler as a high end store, but the hose/real combo is such a piece of crap that they shouldn’t be selling it.

They know the real has a major design flaw but they sell it anyway. A huge let down Rockler.

Vaccum plastic tubing w/c is a small hard to find and got it only in autozone connected to the AC vaccum hose that will give you big trouble specially this summer coz if its broken you will not have sufficient cooling in your car.

Used to put VOCS on a shovelhead Harley. Also bought a fittings kit. Worked perfectly (you do have to modify your manifold).

Vacuum tubing worked as it should was just not enough of it in the package didn’t realize that it was so short until I unrolled it all next time I should buy two or three

Not as good as the festool hose, but at this price it’s great! My only complaint is that it’s a struggle to get it all in the hose garage of any of my festool vacs, also it likes to cool up into circles.

I would probably buy again since the festool hose is offensively expensive.

Solved my problem trying to fit a Festool Domino machine

Bought that new Makita Track Saw SP6000J and needed a way to connect to a 2. 25″ port on a shop vac. This hose works perfectly. Took a month for Acme to order it. Acme Tools and Makita know nothing about this hose.

Figured it out myself and took a leap of faith. Bought this hose before Rockler came out with the Dust Right® Universal Small Port Hose Kit. I have no complaints about this hose. Acme Tools should stock this hose and promote connection to 35mm equipment.

Saves the user hundreds over specialized vacuums.

I bought the Ridgid VT2534 Auto Detailing Kit & so far happy with purchase & ease of use. Mine came with the new & improved style ‘claw nozzle’ (no need 4 adapters like the old style ‘claw nozzle’ required 4 the 1 7/8″ or 2 1/2″ hoses) The triangle shape brushes go wherever square or round brushes cant go like under car seats or behind gas/brake/clutch pedals; & the flexible crevice tool gos between the seats & bends a bit unlike ordinary crevice tools.

The kit is ok ,not worth the cost. Also there is a part that doest appear to have an apparent use. Should indicate what the black bushing like piece use is.

the hose is well made, this is not like the black hose..the cost was very good and shipping time also…all of the attachments are good also..

It’s fine. It’s doing the job. I’m just using it on a portable vacuum gauge. I’d like to see the size of the hose put on the side. And I wonder if it’s really Gates hose. There are no markings to indicate that.

Very nice quality hosing. Easy to install, and fit perfectly on my vehicle.

I am using this flex hose to connect my shop tools (table saw, planer, router, etc. ) to the dust collector. It fit the dust collector fine, but with some difficulty connecting to fittings (elbow, Y, blast gates, reducers, etc.

). In the end, I found fittings that were able to be used and the system, including the hose, was mounted on the wall of the shop and connected to the tools. I am pleased with system. It is unfortunate that Jet does not sell a mounting bracket that fits this diameter hose, but I was able to get away using a 4″ 2 hole pipe clamp.

This hose is flexible enough that we can connect it to our stationary dust collector and use it to vacuum up dust and shavings. It’s much better than sweeping, much less dust in the air, and faster too.

It used to be very hard to find hose like this. Now there are several places that stock it, but this was the best price.

The hose materials are quite durable; the plastic is fairly thick and sturdy, and it is reinforced with steel coil. The coil is definitely NOT going to collapse or break – I tried to cut it with my side cutters, but could not.

I had to get out the grinder to cut it. I’m pleased with the product, and would recommend/buy again if needed.

I have a similar hose in my RV and really enjoy it. I noticed this hose has the metal band on the inlet connection like my residential central vac hoses to activate the central unit in the garage. I ordered this for my home to replace a flimsy stretch hose I ordered from a central vac store.

I needed this for quick pickups in the kitchen and entry areas!! NOW THIS IS A STRETCH HOSE!! The quality is top notch. fits snugly in my central vac inlet valves. it totally stretches the 35′ it claims with ease.

and has a velvety soft hose exterior that won’t mar furniture or walls. It’s working out just great!!.

Doesn’t fit the dairy Devil hose I bought it for. I could have better spent my money buying a whole new vacuum cleaner

I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The hose is an exact fit and slightly longer than the original Dirt Devil Hose. All the accessories work when attached. Quality appears quite dood in the short time I have had it.

All of that and the best price on the net (1/2 what I found on Amazon).

I purchased this hose for future use – no immediate need. Just so happened I needed it within days and the 5′ length was perfect – used the full length for a heater vac control on a 1956 Mercury. Perfect!.

Really? 3/16″ is very easy to measure. This product is clearly 1/8″ vacuum hose. 3/16″ is half again as large. I give up. Went somewhere else at more expense and bought 3/15 hose and viola, it measured (Wait for it) 3/16 of an inch.

Good quality black non color coded vacuum line. Not porous to the eye… with snug fit on 3/16ths stems. Thick wall I believe this product will hold round under good vacuum conditions.
