The dust bin is very small. Amd needs to be emptied often Twice it has died before returning to the charging station. Periodically something as simple as a chair leg will cause it to freeze and go into an error mode so you have to pick up the robotvac and move it.

It also has a tendency to go offline. I have to put it back online often. There is an software update available on this vacuum I did the update and am hoping for big improvements or I am returning it before the return policy time expires.

GF and I have had the Neato (we named it “Moh”) for a few weeks now. Before we bought this we’d spend a couple hours every weekend vacuuming up a small garbage bag (or two) of dog hair. We have small carpeted areas and laminate-wood flooring.

Set up was a little finicky – not easily pairing to my phone at first. Second try it worked. Connecting to our google home was obnoxious and very unclear, and summoning Moh for a vacuum via google home is a guessing game for the proper key words (there’s a button on the vacuum or you can use the app though).

On the software side, some of the more expensive Neatos advertise remembering up to 2 floors at a time. This Neato only remembers one floor (and I think its the last one it vacuumed), so if you actually want digital no-go lines it’ll only work on one floor.

We don’t care about no go lines at all. It also wants its dock on an open wall with nothing around it for a meter in either side, that wasn’t an option for us but the small space under a cabinet we did give it worked fine.

You may need to try out a couple different base-placements though. The systematic coverage is great, it can do a single floor of our small home on one battery generally within 40 minutes. The $1100 roomba has systematic coverage, its the way to go.

Our home has apparently (according to the app) 36 m^2 of “accessible” area on both floors for people’s own math. We haven’t tried both floors in a row yet. It reports the coverage (via a map) and time to the app.

Vacuum strength is pretty good, gets most dog hair off (maybe 85%) within a single pass whereas our dyson now requires repeated passes for the same carpet. Rarely gets stuck, but calls for help and idols when it does.

It has gotten into some pretty tricky spots and can “buck” and push off / rotate its body off the ground a few cm to get out. Some cons: The laser navigation hub thing on top is great for not bashing into everything head on, however it doesn’t seem to realize its a “D” shaped vacuum, so it regularly ends up using its bumpers (with buttons inside) to navigate when it clips its corners on objects.

Hasn’t damaged anything though. The laser hub on top also sticks out a bit, so we ended up carving up some foam to lift our couches a few cm off the floor – though granted these were areas we didn’t really vacuum before hand anyways, and it really wasn’t hard to make furniture lifts.

I also wish this had a spinning brush on the right side (it circles rooms counter-clockwise) like more expensive vacuums, as Moh doesn’t like to drag along the wall so some stuff gets missed. Overall I’m very glad to have it.

For 50% off it was a no brainer. We lift our chairs and stools off the floor, get the vacuum going, go walk the dog and return to a clean floor. Cleaning the floor so regularly when we aren’t around also means dog hair isn’t carried around the house as much, alleviating stair vacuuming.

You probably don’t want to run it in your presence (unless you are excitedly watching) as it is a vacuum, it isn’t silent.

The good: 1. Wifi connectivity means you can operate the D3 from your smartphone. Any time you want to change settings or set up a cleaning schedule, you can do so from an intuitive Neato app instead of fiddling with buttons on the vacuum or looking for a remote you may have already lost.

2. There’s a feature called Extra Care Navigation that tells the D3 to slow down and give objects a wider berth, effectively preventing collisions. This option is ideal for those with antique or expensive furniture they’d rather not see scuffed or damaged by a rogue robot.

3. Vacuuming power is quite good for its size. We have two cats and it handled itself remarkably well on both hard and carpeted flooring. At no point was I disappointed in its cleaning performance with the open areas of our home that contained a typical amount of fur and dust.

The iffy: 1. Battery life could definitely be better. Our home is about 700 sq. ft. in total. We only let it clean two thirds of that to begin with (one room stays closed), and it barely finishes before needing to return to its base to recharge.

In addition to that, it operates fairly slowly. I wasn’t timing, but my best guess is that it takes 40-45 minutes to do a job of this size. 2. It (apparently) works with Neato border markers, but none come in the box for this entry-level model.

If you want to give it a permanent area to clean that can’t be sectioned off by a physical barrier (like a door), you’ll need to shell out for the extra accessory. 3. The included filter is a step down from Neato’s high-performance ones that come standard in their other Connected models.

It’s harder to clean and needs replacing more frequently. The good news is that the better filters are compatible with the D3; the bad news is that this becomes yet another initial additional cost. The bad: 3.

The D3’s design doesn’t include the side brushes which come in Neato’s higher-end Connected models, so cleaning performance up against walls and baseboards is sadly lacking when compared to any other model.

For a device intended to automate regular vacuuming, this is (in my opinion) its biggest flaw. In a nutshell: The D3 has an accessible price that offers one of the best values for a robot vacuum in the same price range.

The wifi connectivity is nice to have, the app is easy to use, and the vacuuming power is solid. But if you’re looking for a robot that you want to think about as little as possible, my recommendation is to save for a Connected model that comes standard with more (and better) accessories, a larger battery, and will do a more efficient job cleaning all areas of a floor.

Pros: Excellent suction for a small vacuum. Long cord. Lightweight Uses a bag Cons: Arrived with a kinked hose I wanted to replace my small canister vacuum that I had for over 20 years. It had great suction but it was bagless and I hated cleaning out the disgusting filter.

I spent a long time researching and reading reviews for small canister vacuums. I liked the weight and features of the might mite but was hesitant because of reviews that said the hose kinks. I decided to take a gamble and order it anyway.

Unfortunately, upon arrival, my hose was kinked when I pulled it out of the box! I was so disappointed! They did eventually replace it and I absolutely love my new vacuum, but just be aware that the hose can definitely kink.

I would have given this vacuum 5 stars had it arrived the first time with a working hose.

Great vacuum ! It is light weight easy to maneuver around the house. This is actually my second one I’ve owned my first one I left at a previous home I sold. That vacuum was about 20 years old. The mighty mite vacuum is very powerful and you can carry it by hand and vacuum at the same time.

If you leave it on the floor it is so easy to pull around the house and the wand and hose are so light does not feel like you have to put in much effort to clean your home Changing. the bag is a snap.

You open the panel where the hose gets attached and bag lifts right out and a new bag drops right in. Overall a great machine easy to operate, vacuuming does not feel like a workout like with some upright vacuums.

Strong suction will not disappoint. Lets not forget the low cost under a hundred dollars compared to a higher end vacuum.

I have two Mighty Mites. I like that it rolls easy due to its light weight. The long arm makes vacuuming fast and easy on the back. The cord is easy to wrap and store. The one improvement could be a softer, longer duster brush, but that would be icing on the cake.

Mighty Mite is a very nice vacuum. I highly recommend it.

The marketing materials indicate this robot can map multiple floors and then know which floor its on. This isn’t strictly true. This only works if the robot is unable to see another floor when it maps.

I have a house with split levels. The robot is able to see all the split levels because its lidar bounces from the walls so the floors are mapped. However, if you move the robot into one of the split levels, it is completely lost.

It isn’t an option to create another map for the split level because you can only create one map for the same area. When I contacted the company about this, they suggested using a ramp to get the robot in and out of the split level areas.

Kludged to say the least plus one of my split levels is approximately 2 ft lower than the main floor and the robot is incapable of climbing a ramp at that angle. They advised that the R&D department might find a fix, but no guarantees or timeline.

I am also disappointed with the running time which, in my experience, is no where near the 3 hours quoted. After trawling through other’s experiences on Reddit, I discovered that keeping the mop and water tank attached causes too much drag on the carpet, meaning the robot’s battery drains quickly.

To clean just one floor of my house on one charge, I have to vacuum the carpets first, then attach the mop and water tank and clean the hard floors. Again, this is a very different experience to what I expected because the marketing materials indicate the robot can do it all in one cycle.

The only reason that I’ve given this robot 3 stars is because it does clean well, but I paid more for this robot than competitor models because of the multi floor mapping and mop/vacuum ‘in one go’ options.

Neither of which work in my experience.

Everything about this robot vacuum is great. It has different levels of suction, so you can control how often it is deep cleaning. We vacuum on high once a week, and do low the rest of the week. We were open to trying the mop feature, but not very optimistic about it.

THE MOP FEATURE IS AMAZING. We mop everyday, and it has made such a huge difference. We have 2 long hair cats and 1 large long hair dog so there is a lot going on. We were concerned about the vacuum bags and how much they could hold, but so far it has been great.

We may have to change the bag more often due to the hair, but we are almost 1 month in, and the bag volume is about 30% full. The app is really robust. It has tons of metrics, the mapping is accurate and useful for creating zones, and a great maintenance feature.

The maintenance feature will tell you if something needs service like the filter, brushes, sensors, etc. I would say don’t hesitate to purchase this vacuum. We have tried Roomba, and didn’t really like it.

We were hoping Neato Robotics would become what this was.

It does a great job vacuuming and mopping. The Lidar navigation of Roborock (uses a laser) is far better, I believe, than our previous vSLAM robot vacuum (vSLAM uses a camera and other sensors). Our Roborock created a perfect map in one run.

Great mopping: It senses rugs and carpets and lifts the mop up and only vacuums when not on a hard surface. The mop agitator does a remarkable job on our hardwood floors. Create up to four separate maps which is ideal for us in a multi-level home.

The mapping automatically defines and names each room within a map. You can change the room name if you want. It successfully detected stairs. The self-emptying feature is fantastic, You can clean and not empty the dock for up to four months.

We were looking for a vacuum for upstairs as we recently had another child and it made sense to minimise the amount of heavy lifting up and down the stairs. We’d had a Numatic Charlie for about 15 years and thought we’d get another from the same supplier.

Henry is surprisingly compact; about half the size of Charlie. it’s also remarkably quiet in comparison to the older Vax and it’s Charlie brother. The biggest shock (and plus), though, is it’s pick up power.

Once you hit the turbo switch it has very powerful suction. By far the best hoover we’ve owned or used. If it proves as faultlessly reliable as our Charlie unit, it will indeed be a terrific buy.

So happy Henry Xtra came to live with us. He is one quiet powerful awesome little machine. All the attachments are very easy to use, and each one is very effective. The carpet turbo nozzle is very effective on the Buber carpet we have.

Picks up all the pet hair! Highly recommend!.

The packaging is simple and light to bring. The vacuum is easy to install and to use. A part of the pipe is made of metal. The package comes with three changeable mouth. The power cable is long enough for mobility.

I bought the product not too long ago and it fits my needs completely. It’s super light to carry and intuitive to use. Absolutely not so loud, way better than the older one I had. Since it’s quite new, I still didn’t need to change the dust bag.

But all in all, great product.

I was looking for a powerful vacuum cleaner which is also not expensive, and the Siemens VS06B1110 was my best option. It operates quietly, and cleans good enough. hard floor or carpet is no problem for this one.

This is the third Roborock i have bought (previously choosing to upgrade) and I have been previously been a huge fan but unfortunately, my machine became non-usable in less than 2 years and the company has so far refused to repair, replace or refund as obligated under Australian consumer protection law.

They now ignore my emails. This is a good machine if you are prepared to replace it every 18 months-2 years. The machine is good but does not last and customer service is abysmal. Below is objective assessment.

(For reference we used it in 4 bedroom house with mix of plush carpets and wooden floors. Used approximately twice per week in conjunction with Dyson stick for quick clean ups. ) Pros – Machine has very good suction.

-Fairly good pick up (we have a long hair cat and the machine handles this well) -App is fairly intuitive and allows regular programming -Mapping function works well and it is easy to choose only to do certain rooms -Mopping function is adequate (although water needs replacing halfway for it to be effective.

-Relatively quiet -Integrates with Alexa well. -Super convenient Saves you vacuuming. Cons when working. -In mopping function it cannot determine carpet and non-carpet so you need to manually or electronically block off carpeted areas that you would usually vacuum or they get mopped.

-Doesn’t like long carpet and gets frequent errors but this can be rectified on carpet mode. -Requires replacement parts relatively frequently (filter, etc). -Takes a long time so best run when you are out.

MAJOR ISSUE My machine fully stopped working due to a battery error at around 19 months. I had previously flagged this was an issue during the warranty period and was told the times provided meant the battery was working fine.

After the warranty was up I was advised that the only way to fix it was to send it to them and fix/replace the battery and the cost would be at least $190 possibly more. I have tried to request the issue be resolved under Australian Consumer Protection Law but they no longer reply to my emails.

During warranty period i also had another issue which they did eventually fix after trying to charge me for shipping. They refused to fix / replace the door that holds the brush in which fell off by itself and broke during a routine clean.

Apparently plastic parts aren’t covered by the warranty. I’m sad to have gone from a major fan and promotor of this company to actively investigate alternatives. If you are prepared to replace it regularly it is a good buy but if you expect it to last more than 18 months reconsider.

This is our second robot vacuum, so we had some expectations, which have been exceeded. Firstly, the robot vacuum market is developing fast, with each brand producing a new model each year with new features.

Then, a revised model which deals with the design faults from the first release. The S6 Pure seems to be a 2021 upgrade of a 2020 release, with S5, S6 Max and S7 now available. Buying the older model means it’s cheaper, has been debugged and has a 12 month+ review history.

The obvious fix with this model is the inclusion of a plastic mat for the dock to avoid water damage to wooden floors. The S6 is easy to use, with the app significantly better than our first robot. We have 4 maps for different levels, and open plan rooms can be divided (ie into carpeted and non-carpeted areas).

Schedules can then be created which clean high traffic areas daily and others once a week. The robot algorithm is pretty smart, and can cope with the odd geometry of our house and picks the longest cleaning paths to increase efficiency.

The suction power is fine for tile / wooden floors, but a little weak for carpets. We do an additional Dyson clean once a month or so. Like most robot vacuums, it can’t handle power cords or rugs with tassles, so these will need to be tidied away before the clean starts.

After a couple of uses, its not hard to robot-proof the house by moving or taping down loose cables. While the S6 mops, it lacks the features of more recent designs. The water drips onto a cleaning pad that is then dragged across the floor.

Sufficient for light cleaning, but leaves streaks and can’t cope with more serious dirt or anything sticky This just means running it 2-3 times and cleaning the cloth regularly – which is ok, but obviously takes a while, and needs someone around to pause & clean it.

Serious cleaning disasters will need to be done the old fashioned way. The more serious drawback is that carpet isn’t detected, so it has to be paused before entering a carpeted room to remove the mopping attachment.

Setting up the maps carefully, so that the carpeting areas are done last stops this being a fatal flaw, and probably the investment in making the app really good is better than improving the mopping smarts.

Battery life is ok, but not great. Not quite enough for the while house (200sqm), so let it do one level, recharge for 30 mins, then complete the rest. Now just hoping it is robust enough to last longer than 12 months.

Would be happy with a 3-4 year life, and if so would upgrade to another Roborock.

I absolutely adore my Roborock! As a fluffy dog mom the amount of hair that accumulates in just one day is unbelievable. My family has allergies from our furry friend but with Roborock vacuuming up the pet hair every day its getting better.

My only complaint is that it cannot go over shag carpet without the rubber spinner getting tangled up and throwing an error. My apartment is mostly hard wood and shallow carpet though so everywhere else is perfectly fine.

The dust bin is so easy to clean which is a big win for me because I hated cleaning the dust tank on my upright bissell. The spin brush underneath is easy to take apart and remove the hair that gets wrapped around it.

I was worried I wouldnt be able to remember how to put the spin brush back together but Roborock has made it dummy proof so its not possible to put it on backwards unless you break it with force. The air filter is also incredibly easy to clean.

Im going to have to buy some extras though because of how often I run my vacuum its getting worn down. The moping feature works great on the faux hardwood. Although it looks clean, I dont feel like the floor is actually clean since I cant use a cleaning solution in the tank.

(Maybe Im wrong about that, I will look into it more) but I use really hot water frommy sink and hope thats enough to kill the allergens on my floor. The app is easy to use and the floor plan map editing is so helpful.

I used the no go zone to keep it from traveling in the shag carpet area so I never have to worry about rescuing it from a tangle. To summarize this long review, I love all of the features of the Roborock s6 Pure including the app required for running it.

Everything works as it should. Thank you Roborock for providing a great tool that will not only simplify my house chores but also improve our indoor air quality.

great sebo vac love it no negatives , it rolls without tipping,its light weight great because of my back injury, it does not leak dirt. it is great to pick up dog hair, I have owned several well know vacuum brands in my 50 years of house keeping and this is by far the best I ever owned, the bags last about 3 weeks,probably because of my pets ,and I vac every 3 days, I do love the easy roller cleaning and the automatic cord.

it seems pricy but worth it and a great warrenty!!!!.

I am giving this vacuum 4 stars in spite of the fact that I don’t use the wand or the attachments that came with it. The bend in the wand is very inconvenient and awkward, and the swivel in the floor attachments make it even worse.

I bought the horse hair floor attachment for wood floors and the included floor attachment for travertine tile. They have frustrating locking connections to the wand, which make them cumbersome to pop off to get a corner or spider web up high with wand-only.

Therefore, I use the straight 1 1/4 inch wand and horse hair floor attachment that I previously used with my central vacuum. Oddly, on typical vacuums the 1 1/4 inch wand attachment is the female part of the connection, but with this vacuum it is the male end.

It all works out. So you may wonder why I’m giving it 4 stars with this major design flaw? Because with the adaptation of using my old wand, it is the near-perfect dream vacuum. The suction is the strongest of any vacuum I’ve owned.

With the long cord, it is easy to move from room to room throughout the house, up the stairs, into the garage or even the deck. We have all hard floors; travertine tile and hardwood. (concrete in the garage.

) I do use the crevice tool that came with the vacuum for my vehicle; it looks near new afterwards. The back pack is well-padded and comfortable. The on/off switch is convenient. It is light weight. I find this vacuum and my old attachments much more convenient than using my central vac system.

I’d buy it again!.

Having this commercial vacuum for my 4-level townhouse is probably overkill but it cuts my vacuuming time in half and I’m not slinging a heavy vacuum around and hauling it up and down the stairs. I only use this vacuum if I’m cleaning the whole house as I don’t find it very practical for small area jobs.

The wand that comes with vacuum is really long so I ordered the adjustable wand to make it more home-friendly. The long cord makes it so easy zip around the house. I even have time to vacuum the garage and the car interior and still get done much sooner than using a regular vacuum.

I detest changing attachments all the time so I go through every room in the house vacuuming things I don’t need the wand for (stairs, upholstery, dog beds, etc. ), then add the wand and switch to the attachment I use for carpets and do all of them in the house, then switch to the hard floor attachment and finish the job.

The back-pack feature and long cord makes this possible and easy. Let me tell you–this vacuum will suck the lips off a pig. I have a lab mix that sheds all the time and this vacuum really picks up the dog hair.

I would highly suggest that you don’t vacuum your dog with this vacuum. just sayin’. it’ll suck the lips off a dog too! And best of all, other than cleaning the filters, I’m not having to clean every nook and cranny of the vacuum like a floor model vacuum–those things get so disgusting.

3 months later. STILL amazing. I’ve started taking it to work it’s so amazing. And I don’t have a cleaning job (I do communications). I’ve found that some gaffer’s tape over the aluminum pole connection gets me a few extra CFM.

this machine is a beast. Never using my Kirby again. Wife doesn’t like using backpack vac since she thinks she looks silly with it. I no longer leaf-blow my garage out. I vacuum it in <4 min. Amazing vacuum.

Absolutely life-changing. I would dread lugging the old heavy vac around, just to have to disconnect and reconnect heads/. This vac does floors, tables, stairs, chairs all with what comes in the box.

The 3 wand attachments are absolutely top-notch. The collection method was surprising; hair goes right into the bag filter, is easy to retrieve things if you accidentally pick something up, and no spinning hair-catching turning parts to stop up.

Suction is wicked strong – impressive. I’ve tried Dyson, Kirby, in-wall vacs and Rainbow, and this thing tops them all by far. Can’t. stop. vacuuming things. I keep this proteam vac about 3-4′ high on a box so I can back right up to it, put it on, and go! The one negative is that I have to wear earplugs – it’s a little high-pitched for me, but it may not bother you.

Example: I keep a clean house. After 1 week of using the proteam, I have what looks like a bunny in the vac bag already; it’s that powerful, and I clean all the time/house was clean already. Jason.
