20 Best Van For Towing (2022 Updated)

This is a really good value, and is the best $80 I spent this Christmas. It’s basically a dollhouse but it takes up less space and is less expensive. It comes with furniture (picnic table, stove/fridge and camping chairs) and dishes.

My 4 year old has been playing with it nonstop. Everything fits in the camper for storage when she’s done playing. I’m glad we did this instead of the dollhouse this year since we have limited space and she’s obsessed with it.

The detachable car is a great idea too. This pairs well with the travel Barbie dolls and the camping Stacie, which comes with additional camping supplies including a tent. I would buy this again for sure.

4 stars for quality only because the decals are sort of annoying and some of the small ones don’t seem to stick very well. The construction so far seems sturdy and the plastic isn’t too thin.

This camper has kept my 9 year old’s attention much longer than other Barbie sets. Some of the pieces are very tiny, like barbie forks and spoons, so it is definitely not suitable for younger children, or children that put small items in their mouths.

The fishing poles are super cute, and she uses the pool to take her Barbies fishing. The truck can be part of the camper or separate, which we love! There is a 2 Barbie sized bed on top of the camper, with a loft for a Chelsea sized bed.

Perfect for playing “family camping trip”!.

There is nothing wrong with the product, well I wouldn’t know, it hasn’t been opened yet. What was wrong, however, was the fact that the huge pink box arrived on my front doorstep in clear wrap with Barbie and her mates on full display.

I was extremely lucky that my daughter wasn’t home at the time as Christmas would have been ruined. Every other package I have received lately has been in black plastic wrap or an unmarked box. Myer, Christmas presents are ordered at this time of year and lots of kids are in lock down, common sense wouldn’t go astray!.

a very nice kit from tamiya , well posted on to me from a German supplier at what was a good price or so i thought having bought from Germany before. i had forgotten we were out of the common market so import duties cost me more, my fault , but i am happy with the kit.

A very well designed model, by a well respected manufacturer, assembly is well described in the comprehensive instructions. A lot of enjoyment to be had building and operating this model.

Everything in the picture came in the box. No worn or broken/bent parts. All parts fit like they belonged on this setup. Very happy with the entire unit. It’s a earlier model with a pin and bail used in the stow position which to me is more secure than the plunger latch.

It can’t pop open and flop around. Love it.

Great option for us. We wanted it to lock on to the back of the RV and stay there. It works slick as can be. I am 76 and hoped to never have to lift a heavy tow bar again, this does the trick. Easy set up even if tow vehicle isn’t perfectly straight.

Easy install and simple to operate.

Very easy installation on a 2008 Honda CRV. Took maybe 45 minutes at the most. Recommend using a shop grinder to file the frame bolt holders rather than trying to enlarge the holes in the frame. Just a bit off the edge and the bolt holder slides right in.

Very pleased with the USA made product.

The expected install time should be about 1. 75 hours, not 30 mins. With the class 1 hitch you will have to enlarge the holes on the subframe of the CRV, I used a small pry bar. The muffler is a booger to get off.

Lastly the 3 point attachment seems kinda weak. Do yourself a favor and go with a class 2-3. It mates up to the factory threaded holes on the subframe, with a 5 point connection. It should also save a little bit of time too, because you don’t have to modify anything.

Just my 2 cents.

I watched the Curt video to learn how to install the 11555 class 1. It was very helpful BUT the diagram of the under-panel that had to have a hole cut into did not even closely resemble the actual panel.

I had to estimate and then modify my cut once it was being re-attached (while under the car). I did learn what “fish wire” was.

LEGO have been stepping up their game each year. I remember what their sets were like back in the 80s and 90s and this set (along with many of their Star Wars sets) blow me away. I bought this set for my father who has a Volkswagen Vanagon Camper Van and he absolutely loved it.

He is currently putting it together and he is in awe with the engineering involved in putting together the different sections. This is a must get for anyone who loves LEGO’s, vehicles, or loves this style of camper van!.

Had a lot of fun building this set. Just the right amount of challenge. Details are pretty awesome. Pretty durable as well. My kids dropped it and only lost a few pieces. Real easy to repair.

What another fabulous example of Lego and Volkswagens commitment in building quality adult collectable. I now have the Beetle, Kombi, and a Vespa, plus the Ghostbusters Ecto 1 on display with many other Lego creations and look forward to the next new relaese from Lego and Volkswagen.

Excellent looking (on my RV) product. Very easy to put on and a very good fit on the rims. My only complaint/suggestion is get us (customers) the option when ordering to have the center hubs put on or left off the wheel simulators.

Received my Phoenix wheel simulators very quickly and in good condition. This product was exactly how it was described and fit my Ford E350 people mover correctly. Will order another set just like these for another people mover soon.

I purchased this to replace a Demco Commander that I used for several years. This tow bar is lighter and as sturdy as my Commander. The mounting end was set to a 1. 5″ rise and it was difficult to remove the bolts to reverse it to drop 1.

5″ but I was able to do so. I also had to remove the bar that holds the electrical cable and reposition it from below the tow arm to above it. Demco provides multiple rails to allow this so it was easy enough to do.

My Commander was in good shape (Demco builds sturdy products), but it was difficult to unlatch it from my tow vehicle if not perfectly flat. This new bar can be released on a non-level surface so there is no longer a need to take a mallet and screwdriver and pound the baseplate pins out.

I haven’t tried the quick release yet, but Demco invented the tech to do this so I am confident it will work as it should. The tow cables that come with Demco tow bars are sturdy. They mount on the tow bar with clips that hold them in place but still allow the cables to pull in either direction, something I like about Demco tow bars.

I plan to sell my old Commander and this one should last as long as I need it to.

So this little bar is amazing. I’ve pulled big trucks cross country with it. Pros: Very well built. Solid. Not nearly as heavy as expected. Very easy to hook to truck doing the towing Cons:I feel like it needs a secondary lock to keep bars extended.

If vehicles are taller or shorter than towing vehicle it’s a bit unnerving to pull. Adapters, could use some other adapters for more convenient use. Thoughts: It works great, but I think it should be adjustable in height to accommodate a more straight pull.

Adapters could be built to attach to the truck. I home built both items for convenience and think it’s marvelous.

Another great product from Demco. I purchased this tow bar to tow a Honda CRV. Fit, finish,and function is top drawer. The instructions were well written. It is really easy to connect and un-connect the car.

Best of all and the reason why I purchased the Dominator is it’s light weight. Love, love, love it.

My business has to be able to switch between trailers that have different ball sizes regularly. This allow for it to be fast and easy. The trailers are of different heights, so being able to change the height on a moments notice is great.

With this one hitch, we no longer have to carry multiple hitches with us. This hitch would be to much if you do not have multiple different style of trailers, but if you do, this is perfect for the job.

Great hitch and the fact that it can tuck behind it is very convenient! I can’t tell you how many times my shins have got into it with the old hitch. We needed a hitch with more weight capacity when we upgraded and the fact that it’s so easy to switch it behind was even better, definitely the best feature in my opinion.

Hauls our tractor with no issues as well as the dump trailer loaded up.

I have to say this is the best hitch that I own! It is so Versatile. It fits all my vehicles and trailer applications. This is a must have specially if you have multiple trailers and devices. I will buy this again.

Second Curt receiver I’ve installed. Simple and clear instructions, less then hour for each. They work very well and, I’ve never had any issues. 4/5 quality because I had to fight getting the last bolt in.

Ever so slightly misaligned. I definitely would recommend this product.

The hitch is terrific! I installed it myself and I am 72 years of age. The instructions were clear. I only had one problem–The pre-drilled holes were off about 1/8 of an inch and the hitch was designed so perfectly that I had to grind out two holes on one side and purchase longer bolts to connect with the tow hook holes of the Prius.

Once I ground the holes out and enlarged them slightly and use the longer bolts on one side, the hitch worked beautifully. I have already use it. Now, if I can only figure out the Prius brake light system, I will operate with all the lights.

I have connected lights before on other trailers, but the Prius brake lights operate differently. Leonard.

Needed a trailer hitch for a bike rack. This Curt is working out great. Also purchased the Yakima Highlite 3 since it is so lightweight. Recommend both for a 2nd generation Toyota Prius.

The hitch arrived without the mount and pin, which were to be included. Curt customer service dealt with this immediately and I had the missing components the next day. The installation on my Chevy HHR was not without missing skin on my hands when finished.

I do not believe the installation can be completed without the car either being on a hoist, or jacked up. With the muffler bands released and it being lowered, there still was not enough clearance from the ground to maneuver the hitch over the muffler without hoisting the car.

Fortunately, a neighbor had a hydraulic jack and that made all the difference. Once the clearance issue was resolved the balance of the installation, including the T-connector for the trailer lights, went smoothly.

I am not happy with the fit of the hitch mount into the hitch receiver. It’s not snug, but “sloppy” and with each acceleration and deceleration, there is movement. I’m not sure whether I received a mount that was a size too small or not, but this is not what I expected nor what my experience with prior hitch assemblies provided.

The overall installation was an article only one hole I had three mad little bit on the passenger side. Although it did take my son-in-law to help out a little bit we managed to get it up and he tightened up the volts to 120 pounds of torque I wouldn’t quite strong enough to do it other than that I only breathe fast and easy.

Although I am I got to use it yet I just got it for just in case I ever needed one hoping to get a small boat one day.

I just installed the CURT 11447 hitch on my 2007 Saturn Ion Redline. Installation was easy using their directions and also Youtube videos of “HHR Hitch Installation. ” Without that Youtube video, I definitely would not have figured out how to use the “Fishing line” tool to route the bolts/washers.

I rated the OVERALL rating as 4/5 because the included bar did not fit my vehicle. With the hitch installed, the bar will not pin into place without severely damaging my bumper. So, I had to go to Uhaul and by another bar 1 1/4″ LONG bar and now it’s good to go.

For my son’s second birthday, he received one of these same brand trucks. I thought he might not like it because it is so simple and basic. Boy, was I wrong! He loved the truck so much, we bought him everyone in this series for Christmas.

For the price, it is made well. I am surprised how little it actually costs. In person, it looks like a more expensive truck. These are absolutely his favorite trucks and plays with them all the time and pushes them around the house!.

Very easy to install. Look up Watch U-Hauls install video to learn a couple of tricks. “Drawtite hitch install 2014 Ford Explorer” Not as hard to wrestle in place as I expected. Since the truck has dual mufflers, I just rested the hitch across the top of the mufflers.

Although it is not visible in picture, mine came with the little tab welded to the hitch so you can install a plug connecter mounting bracket. I am very happy, this is a very clean looking install.

This hitch, despite what some of the other reviews state, is an easy to bolt on hitch that required no special skills to install. It does NOT come with hardware, which some reviewers complained about but it does not NEED any since the hitch utilizes existing bolts/hardware.

The instructions are well laid out and easy to understand if you actually need them (I did not). One note to ease installation. The muffler needs to be unbolted from it’s hanger, which is easy enough however despite that the fact that muffler is unbolted, the operating room above it to access a mounting bolt is quite small.

Unbolting will require the necessary socket but also realistically requires a universal joint attached at the point of the socket with a 6 inch extension. To make the job easier, since there is no swing room for a wrench, an impact gun with a universal joint will make life far easier for this install, specifically for the bolt above the muffler (that’s what i used) but it’s not mandatory.

Also, this hitch is compatible with “stow and go” seating, which is on my van (2012 dodge grand caravan). This is a two man install only because it’s quite heavy and wide. A floor jack will suffice if you don’t have a second set of hands to hold the hitch up as you perform the install.

Just figured I would offer my two cents.

One of the few hitches I have mounted that actually seemed to be made for the vehicle. All hardware, which is 6 bolts, 6 washers and 2 nuts is included. The Tacoma frame is already threaded with “weld nuts” that accept the 4 large anodized bolts.

My truck was new and had no frame corrosion. If the truck has been on the road you might have to clean up the weld nuts with a wire brush. As such the 4 main bolts threaded right in. The other 2 bolts actually thread in through the rear step bumper then down through the hitch.

Draw-Tite provides 2 fish wires to help position the rear most bolts. This was the only time consuming part. If someone can help you for a couple minutes to hold the hitch to the frame this job is easier.

I used a floor jack and some boards to hold it up as there was no one else to help. Anyway, all the holes line up, there is no drilling and all you need is a 1/2 inch drive socket set and you definitely do not need to pay an installer.

DO NOT BUY!!!! My son received this tow truck for his bday and he was so happy and excited not many remote control tow trucks out there. Well after putting in new batteries in both the truck and remote, the remote loses connectivity.

I literally have to remove the batteries from the remote for them to sync up again. I have read and seen other reviews and this seems to be the same issue everyone is experiencing. This is frustrating to be taking the batteries out like every 5 mins.

DO NOT BUY!!!!.

My son is going to absolutely love this. First off, this toy is WAY bigger than I was expecting. When I walked out to a 3 foot package from target on my front porch I was pretty confused. My son loves everything trucks and cars and, in my opinion, this tow truck blows his other tow truck toys out of the water.

Not only is it large, it has working lights and sounds, and a lot of moving parts which is great for kids like him who love to figure out how things work. Great value for the price. If you’re thinking about this toy for a kid who loves trucks, think no further.

My boys are ages 2 and 4 years old and they haven’t put this toy down since they got it. They both adore playing with trucks and vehicles of all kinds but a tow truck is one that we dont have in our collection so I think that its uniqueness is what really draws them to it.

It is realistic and has a hook and pulley system on the back just like a real tow truck and it actually works. The truck makes sounds and you can open the doors and the hood to see the engine inside.

I’m glad to have this set in our collection and I recommend it to any child who loves trucks. So much fun.

Bought a new enclosed trailer and installed etracs and these rings to keep my woodworking tools in place. It is working well and I plan to purchase 10 more soon.

I am a huge Vans fan but love these have black on black signature Vans stripe on the side and then tortoise eyelets and lace ends. Bit more of a sophisticated look for this high top style. Already had many ask where I got these!!!.

My boys love anything with a trailer. When this arrived they ripped it open and started setting up a construction site right away. They loved the detail on the character. It’s nice to find the smaller scale items with the detail and accessories that tend to only come with the large vehicles.

My son loves the 1/64 size and is constantly asking for items in that size to add to his collection, but wants them to have the same stuff as the larger scale items. This fit that bill! I received the product for free through the Mattel Play, Rate & Review Program in exchange for my honest opinion.

The one I received to do as a review its okay. I love the trailer and truck. The other pieces I think could of been a lot better. The surf boards need decals on them or something. They are just red and the sand is bright red also.

The dude laying in the red chair is also red. Needs to break up the colors. The surfer dude is all orange. But he is okay. The wave is cute. I think the parts needs more detail just like the surf truck and trailer.

My almost 4 year old loves playing with these. They are a little smaller than expected and the little people and signs that come with it are VERY small. Definitely heed the 3+ warning. He was a little confused why the cement mixer won’t spin but was super excited when he discovered they connect and he can haul it.

It is also really nice because he can connect and disconnect them himself so he can truly do some independent play and not have to constantly ask for help.
