20 Best Vanilla Body Lotion (2022 Updated)

I have been purchasing this product through Sol De Janeiro for years& it’s my holy grail, I live for this scent! It’s probably the longest lasting scent I have ever used, I can still smell it on my worn clothing when I sort my laundry into loads! I only use this lotion too, I can only imagine how long lasting it would be using their actual perfume in this scent too! I first purchased this from Sephora during this spring’s VIB rouge sale for the 20% off& because I saw they had the LE BIGGIE BIGGIE size of this that was 16.

9 oz/500 mL. I loved how it also included a cute little surfboard applicator so I don’t have to stick my fingers into the tub. The only problem I had with this was that I hate to waste so much plastic (especially back when these were not made of recyclable plastic having to continuously buy such a small size as I go through numerous of these a year) so I was super excited to see an option with more than double the standard size of product! My one wish is that they would offer this larger size permanently instead of as a limited edition as it is a cult classic& would help reduce the waste.

I’m so happy it was brought back in the large size again for the fall VIB Rouge sale, even if it is LE! I truly hope they offer this size permanently in the future. I’d love it if they could make it permanent in the large size, or an even larger size than the 16.

9 oz/500mL without including the applicator so that is not thrown away each time after receiving a new tub with a new applicator. I would love to see them sell this applicator separately so you can get a replacement if you loose it or if you are a new customer& never received the applicator from the LE set.

Because I will now end up with two of these applicators& if they continue to do these sets countless more& that seems like a lot of waste as I know many people will likely never use them& trash them or trash them after finishing the lotion.

I will likely just use my backups for other lotions I have.

After reading a few reviews on here talking about how this doesn’t smell or feel the same way it used to, i wanted to give my viewpoint as someone who had never tried this lotion before a few days ago.

I instantly fell in love with the scent, it’s sweet, not too tropical as i was worried about because I’m so done with coconut scented things. I definitely smell vanilla in there along with other sweet scents.

I have never smelled anything like it before and I’m all about it now. I got this lotion after reading so much about the scent staying on the skin for long periods of time and that’s exactly what i wanted, to make a lasting scent impression on someone.

The first time i tried it, i showered around 5pm then put it on every part of my body then went to spend the night with a friend. All night he commented on how good my skin smelled and how soft it felt.

He kept sniffing me all night. THAT was exactly what i was after. The next day i bought two of the regular size jars and the body spray. The scent is delicious, very sweet. Unfortunately I’m not good a describing individual notes.

It lasted from 5pm until early the next morning, ballpark 12 hours. Granted after the first 4-5 hours it turns into a “skin scent” that you can only smell if your nose is pressed against it but for a lotion i was impressed.

It made my skin so incredibly soft, like him, i was so amazed at how soft my skin was and i have always moisturized well so it’s nice to find something that works better than anything i have ever had before.

I know i never smelled or felt what the product was like before i received it a few days ago but i am very satisfied and obsessed with what i got. Granted it’s not cheap, but the price is very worth it for what purpose i want it to serve.

Highly recommend. If on the fence, at least try the small container, that way there’s not as much to lose if you end up not being satisfied with it.

This is my “Forever” scent. No matter how many years go by ( at least 18yrs so far), I always have a bottle of Victoria’s Secret Love Spell Fragrance Mist and body lotion to compliment it. The most complimented/popular scent I have ever worn and it still has not faded out for me.

I am obsessed with all the different body spray scents and brands and can get tired of some rather quickly but not Victoria Secrets and definitely not Love Spell. For me, it pairs beautifully with my skins pH balance/body’s chemistry.

I lean more towards oilier skin so less is best for me and it also helps the fragrance last longer. The lotion is on the heavier side which is awesome since it tends to fully absorb and does so on the quicker side.

The lotion leaves my skin silky smooth and hydrated. I only apply once and my skin will carry that hypnotizing scent all day long. I may, or may not, have a problem smelling my arm obsessively throughout the day😜😂🤪 Besides the beautiful fragrances offered, the best thing about the lotions and body mists, are their prices! They always have a buy two get a third type of deal going on so you can easily stock up on your faves at a great price!.

I really like these but I prefer the original pink scent. Unfortunately the lavender here is not very noticeable. I tried the coconut + vanilla (not a fan) as well. If you have pretty dry skin this won’t do.

I apply lotions every single morning and with more expensive brands (like Loccitane) I can even skip some days because my legs still won’t look dry the next day after application. With Coco Sleep (or the other scents) I really do have to apply every single day and it will never get my skin into a better shape but only for that one day.

But for this price and the way how the lotion feels on my skin (velvety) it is not a big deal for me.

I wore this a few times in highschool before I noticed I was getting nauseous every time I had it on. I love the scent though. Tried it again awhile back cus I couldn’t wrap my mind around how I could love a scent so much but get so sick from it.

same issue. I get really sick to my stomach from it. I recently got a candle with a peach scent mixed in it, smells very similar to love spell, and it made me nauseous in the same way. So I think it’s the peach scent lol.

I’m just starting to accept that I’m a walking contradiction. So I won’t rate it bad. amazing smell. I just got issues.

I know the tagged product doesn’t match but they never have what I want to review 😔 🌟 Beekman 1802 Milk Glaze Deep Pore Purging Lactic Acid Clay Mask 🌟 I’ve always struggled with blackheads and big pores so I couldn’t wait to try this Milk Glaze Deep Pore Mask.

This mask has a thick, creamy texture with no gritty feel to it, it doesn’t have a fragrance and washes off fairly easy. After using just a couple times the overall texture of my skin has improved, my excess oil is under control, I don’t have as many blackheads, and I can be barely see my pores.

I didn’t have any severe purging but my skin did get a little dry and flaky in spots the first time using but was fine after that. The only thing I didn’t care for was the tube packaging, when I open the lid the mask starts coming out on its own but they do send a cute little bag to store the mask in so that’s cool.

This is definitely a mask I would repurchase and recommend to those that struggle with blackheads or big pores just be careful as it can cause your skin to purge.

I tried Fresh Air. I’ve taken care of my skin with pure ingredients before it was popular. Beekman Body cream formula is wonderful and noticed immediate hydration and improvement in skin softness and moisture level.

I use from face to toes. Definite improvement. Will continue to use for those benefits and because I only do business with companies that are non-toxic. I am disappointed in that there is really no scent to the Fresh Air cream I received.

I opened both jars and all I can smell is the smell of the container. Will keep using what I have because the formula is so hydrating and pure that it does what it promises and next time experiment with other scents.

Product is deserving of 5 Stars.

I was excited to receive this product, as I am always on the lookout for (1) goat milk products that are (2) unscented. Unfortunately, there is some odor in this product that seems to be unpleasant. I can’t smell it, but my husband can.

He is extremely sensitive to scents, which is why I am always looking for unscented products. I put some of the cream on his chapped hands, thinking he would really like it. But as the cream warmed up on his skin, he remarked on a chemical odor that was unpleasant, and went to wash the cream off of his hands.

As far as I’m concerned, I can’t smell what he is smelling at all – the cream is truly unscented to my nose. But not only my husband noticed an unpleasant aroma – our cat did as well. I put some of the cream on my forearms, and after I did so, our cat came over to jump up on my lap like he does every night.

But he sniffed me and went to the other side of the couch to sit down several feet away from me, and would not come over to me until I had washed the cream off. So, two sentient beings in my house are able to detect an unpleasant odor in this cream.

I will probably use this cream when I go back to the office and to business travel, where my husband and cat won’t judge me 🙂 (I have a good sense of smell and have not had COVID, so the odor, or lack of same, seems to be a YMMV thing.

This body butter is to die for. Normally, I wouldn’t spend $36 on 8 oz of body butter, because there are so many great, more affordable options out there. But, after trying a bit out of a friend’s jar, I HAD to go out and buy a jar of my own.

The texture and scent of of this butter are a DREAM, with top quality ingredients, and extremely moisturizing properties. This Made in the USA body butter is now in my list of ALL-TIME FAVORITE scented body moisturizers, and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon! Quick Note about Fragrance (skip to next paragraph if you’d like): I am all about unscented skincare, mainly due to irritation/sensitivity concerns, but also because having too many scented products can just get overwhelming all to quickly.

My general rule is that the majority of my skincare is unscented but I do keep a number of products with fragrances I absolutely LOVE around, after patch-testing, of course. While my skin is moderately sensitive, scented products do not always cause skin irritation for me – So, as long they use high quality ingredients, and pass the patch test, they are fair game.

I do enjoy scented products, and find that the sensorial experience of certain much-loved fragrances in my skincare only makes the whole process that much more enjoyable! That sensorial experience truly doesnt get much better than this body butter.

The citrus scent is SO good you just have to smell it for yourself, because there is simply no doing it justice! Opening the jar is literally a joy, and I make sure to really take my time and enjoy the experience when I use this product (also because of the price), taking deep breaths and even doing a bit of massage and/or light meditation.

The scent is literally that good, and 100% natural (not synthetic ) fragrance derived from fruit and plant extracts. Fragrance: A+++ In terms of texture/formula this product is also a winner. The Ingredient superstars in this formula are the fatty acids in the argan oil, as well as the hydrating and conditioning benefits of shea butter and avocado oil.

It contains a total of 10 natural plant oils and extracts, and delivers on its promise to “revitalize skin, restore softness, and improve skin’s texture. ” This product is already top-shelf imo, but if I HAD to come up with a way to improve it, I would probably add some skincare actives to target certain common skin complaints, such as vitamin c, caffeine, niacinamide, and/or exfoliating acids, amongst many other options, to boost collagen/elasticity, treat hyperpigmentation and brighten, decrease puffiness and improve circulation, and even reduce cellulite (the bane of our existence!).

I feel that for the price of the product it would and should be possible to take the product to the next level by targeting specific skin concerns. In terms of texture/formula, for such a decadent, RICH body butter, it’s still unbelievably lightweight and silky soft, absorbing super quickly and fully into the skin, due to the perfectly whipped, signature argan oil.

It does not leave a greasy feeling to the skin, and adds a nice glowy sheen to the skin surface. Texture/formula: A++, Ingredients: A-, Moisturization: A++ Finally, the packaging isn’t anything totally spectacular, but I personally do like it.

It comes in a brown plastic jar (I assume to protect the ingredients from light) with a muted, dusty rose colored top. For me, it’s about what’s on the inside that counts most, but I understand that a well thought out and designed package or pump can add something extra to a product.

This is minimal and effective. I would recommend using a spatula or scoop of some kind to remove the product to keep debris/bacteria out of the product itself. Packaging: B+ This body butter is just SO SO GOOD.

It makes me feel extra fancy, and it makes my after-shower pamper session feel super luxe. I truly cannot do it justice, you simply have to try it for yourself. As long as you like/don’t mind fragrance, you cannot go wrong with this amazing and decadent body butter.

Living in Florida, we are either in air conditioning or out in the hot sun; therefore, our skin does take quite a beating in keeping in the moisture. I have very dry hands and have a difficult time keeping them moisturized due to constant hand washing and as a teacher, constantly touching the paper.

I have tried many products to keep my skin hydrated, and remember seeing Josie Maran on a segment of QVC talking up the benefits of Argan Oil. As someone who is also very health-conscious, I know the benefits of Argan oil on the skin, so I was excited to try this product for myself.

I started with the Vanilla Apricot and now use the Peppermint Bark. The scents are amazing, yet not overpowering. I cannot even describe how wonderful my skin feels and looks. It is smooth, hydrated and even my heels are smooth looking.

This is a great product. Is it slightly slippery, yes; however, not overly so. My skin drinks the product in like a tall glass of water. Thank you for bringing the wonders of Argan Oil into my life. As for the expense, for me a little goes a long way, so my jar lasts for over a month.

I have sworn by Josie Maran Argan Oil and Whipped Argan Body butter for years. Only thing I used and all females around me get a few containers in stockings every holiday. Suddenly, something has changed.

The current jar and the last jar have a totally different consistency. For years it was like putting whipped cream, light and fluffy on the skin. These last two jars are waxy consistency that does not melt in like it used to.

I am left with a white, waxy appearance to the skin. I thought with the last jar it was a fluke. Now the second jar is the same. It is now like pond’s cold cream instead of the originally whipped body butter.

I have another large container that recently arrived and when it comes time to open it, if it is not like the original melt in your skin butter, that will end my years of dedicated and fairly expensive purchases of this product.

Very disappointed.

I’ve been using Josie Marian body butter all over my body, after I shower, every single day. I’ve been a customer now for at least 5 years. I started using Josie’s body butter because my skin was “shedding”-I’d take off my socks and I would see flaking all over.

Now my skin is extremely soft and supple-my 28 year old daughter constantly tells me how soft my skin is and I’m 70 years old!!! I love the scents (my favorites are the vanilla scents, especially vanilla bean) and how creamy they are.

The texture is really like butter! I guess the only negative thing I could say is that sometimes the jars don’t seem to be full to the top and once in awhile there’s a large hole somewhere in the butter but this to me is a minor problem compared to the beautiful results I have encountered with this product.

Hopefully, Josie never changes the body butter. Please ladies-do your skin a favor and try Josie Maran body butter-you won’t be disappointed!.

I got this originally from Shen as a sample and just recently tried it. I am a nurse and this pandemic has totally fried my hands causing them to crack so bad to the point of bleeding and painful. I wash my hands over 100 times during a 12 hour shift and the soap is horrible.

Add sanitizer to that and it’s a disaster in the making. I have tried everything from Vaseline, cotton gloves at night to oils and even olive oil. I started using this with Josie Maran infinity cream and my hands have done a 180.

Almost all the cracks are gone and my hands are completely healed. I have tried other stuff from this line and I didn’t care for the shower gel. I do however like the body oil and this body cream. I wish it was a flip top cap.

Unscrewing the cap to use it all the time is kind of annoying. Maybe they can change their cap in the future! I normally love scented creams and lotions, but the fact that this hardly has a smell is nice.

It doesn’t compete with my perfumes and body lotions that I wear. It’s a smooth operator and absorbs easily not leaving a greasy feel to my hands. I would have to say this is the perfect moisturizer for anyones hands.

I think I am going to purchase the actual hand cream next.

Let’s start with this, I live in Canada and winters are super dry and cold. In the beginning of 2022 I started having severely dry legs that caused me to itch them until I was covered with scabs. Everyone always used to tell me to use lotion, and I did! It never went away.

I even started to get acrylic nails so that my itching wouldn’t cut my skin. My favourite lotion is the Sol de Janiero Bum Bun cream (nothing against this lotion btw it’s incredible, I just have severe dryness) and I had been using it during this period.

Recently I was gifted this lotion and WOW. I noticed a difference in my skin from just applying it once. My legs feel supple, hydrated and soft. I don’t know what they put in this stuff but I haven’t itched my legs once and I am comfortable to wear shorts again (scabs).

I think what it boils down to was that fragrance in lotion was not benefiting me whatsoever, which I do find upsetting because there’s nothing better than smelling like coconuts and vanilla. This lotion has an amazing formula and I finally found my cure.

The 5 star reviews do not lie!.

Lotion has been the bane of my existence for years and years. I know I’m supposed to moisturize my body and I’ve suffered through testing out various body lotions throughout the years that just left my skin feeling sticky.

I don’t like the feeling of lotion on my hands, legs, or arms, but I also don’t want to be dry and crusty, so I’ve mostly just dealt with being uncomfortable. I’d heard so many good things about the Necessaire lotions over the last year or so and was afraid I’d never understand the hype because of my long-lasting disdain for lotions, but alas, here I am giving it four stars.

I love that it’s fragrance free, the packaging looks incredible, I like that it’s packaged in a squeezeable tube versus in a pump bottle or just straight up in a tub. This lotion works into my skin almost immediately.

I’m not left with any sticky feeling that lingers for hours nor do I have to worry about having visibly dry skin especially around my elbows and knees. I primarly used this during fall temperature, so I’m curious to see how this will fare in the winter but I would absolutely repurchase this when this bottle runs out.

I don’t know about you, but in junior high and high school, a lot of the girls at my school had a scented lotion in their bags that they would reapply throughout the day. The Body Shop Mango Body Butter was one of the ultimate top tier picks.

Smelling this immediately took me back to those days (and not to worry, it only brought up the fond memories of friendly aromatic competition). When trying it out this time, the consistency was light yet nourishing and soaked into my skin without leaving too much of a greasy residue.

Unfortunately for me, I have since developed a pretty bad allergy to fragrances and am not able to use this body butter on my own skin anymore (despite having no issues with it over a decade ago). Thankfully, I was able to pass this off to my mom, and I can still appreciate the scent when I see her.

I would highly recommend picking some of this up if you want to have a hint of nostalgia throughout the day, really like the scent of mango, or need something easy to give someone as a nice gift. *Thank you to BzzAgent and The Body Shop for sending me a complementary product to try out on return for a review – my review is in no way biased due to this*.

I’m extremely disappointed in this new formula. The original body butter was literally perfect. The scent was so amazing, it was so hydrating but not greasy, the scent lingered but not too much, and it felt like such a luxury to own.

This was the body butter I recommend to all my friends, the one I pampered myself with, the one I wore for dates. I understand wanting to move things in a more vegan and natural direction. But this new formula is absolute garbage.

I don’t write such harsh reviews like this but for a product I hold oh so dear, and from the looks of it other people did too, and for it to not only be gone but to be replaced with a body butter that smells so foul and gross that I don’t even want to put it on my body.

I was literally comparing the original scent to the new one in my local Ulta. Who at the body shop thought this new scent would be at all comparable in quality to the old one? I really hope they listen to their customers cause from reading reviews here and on their own website, I know for I’m one of many who are very upset about this.

Save your money.

This used to be my favorite lotion/body butter of all time but the new formula is so disappointing. While the new packaging is kind of cheap looking, I understand the need for limiting waste. But did that need to affect the formula? At best it smells and feels like plain wax.

It’s less moisturizing and doesn’t have that warm and buttery smell anymore. I definitely wouldn’t recommend and I’ll be returning the one I bought. Also be weary of the tube lotion version, I didn’t pick it up because in the store the bottle felt limp like it was made out of paper, I can’t imagine it holding up for very long.

Please bring the old version back even if it costs more to make! This product feels pointless now since it doesn’t smell good or even keep the skin moisturized.

Okay, I really wanted to love this product for my dry skin. I read review after review of y’all raving about this lotion. I recently moved from the very humid coastal southeast to the harshly dry midwest.

Therefore, I am currently experiencing my first midwest winter. My skin is not amused. In fact, my skin is angry. My arms are dry, rough, and itchy. I thought maybe I was having an eczema flare-up but alas, it is just my skin’s reaction to a midwest January.

I bit the bullet and paid for the Kiehl’s Crème de Corps Hydrating Body Lotion with Squalane. Now don’t get me wrong, I normally LOVE all of Kiehl’s products. And I don’t necessarily hate this lotion.

but it isn’t “knocking it out the park” for me. After applying this lotion, I feel greasy for hours. I rub, rub, rub, as much as I can and I still feel greasy. not the best feeling in the world. Also, it didn’t really do much for my extremely dry skin.

Compared to a lotion you can buy at any drugstore, I am disappointed. I guess a high price tag doesn’t always mean better quality. Overall, I will continue using this lotion but I will not purchase another bottle when I run out.

There are cheaper options out there that will yield better results.

In past reviews, I’ve shared my struggle with eczema. I tried using this lotion in high school, and liked it a lot, but I think I was too young to understand how exactly it should be applied. I would wait until I was fully dry and then apply, feeling like the lotion would just sit on my skin.

Older me is a NUT behind this lotion. 😂 It’s done such a great job and improving my skin and pesky areas of eczema. My skin is soft, glowing, and stays moisturized throughout the day. The ingredient that stands out the most is shea butter, which you’ll distinctly smell.

I sometimes use it to help enhance a scent I may be wearing for the day. I love its reusable packing, which allows me to pour it into my mini Kiehl’s dispensers that I received as a gift. I truly don’t use any other lotion, except for my backup Jergens when I run out of this.

Tip: It can be pricey when it’s not on sale, but it’s worth every single cent. The best time to find it on sale is the Nordie’s Anniversary Sale. That’s when I try to stock up. 😉 #Beauty #Grooming #Skincare.

I have used Kiehl’s skincare products for many years and I will spend hundreds of dollars on creams, serums, and moisturizers for my face. I could never convince myself to spend as much on bodycare though.

until last year, when I realized my favorite store brand body lotion was no longer living up to my expectations. Kiehl’s happened to be having a sale one week so I decided to add Creme de Corps Body Lotion to my shopping bag and give it a try.

I immedately saw results overnight, after one use. In 3-4 days, the texture, smoothness, softness, and tone of my skin had noticeably changed. I am in love with this lotion! I wish I would have switched sooner! It is definitely worth every penny.

Kiehl’s always has great sales. hold out for one and you will save $$. I now buy the 1L refill which saves even more and also uses less plastic than the pump.

I don’t really enjoy this product only because the product’s formulation doesn’t work well. For example, it doesn’t apply very well. It has a tendency to ball up and it feels rather silicone like. It doesn’t moisturize very well either.

I have dry skin and I really expect a product that is suppose to condition the skin to you know. condition the skin. When I go to shower, it takes forever to wash off, you can feel the silicone the most in the shower because it just takes forever to wash the product off.

If it doesn’t moisturize and just leaves a silicone feeling on the skin that makes it difficult to remove in the shower, what purpose does this serve? The scent doesn’t last long either I have to admit.

No I don’t apply too much and yet it would still act up. I used the same scent but it’s body wash counter part. So it know it can’t be because of anything else I’m using. The only good part was that it smelled nice.

I am SO happy Black Chamomile is back! The scent is so relaxing and gender neutral. I was first introduced to this fragrance by my sister and I was curiously drawn to its slightly spiced, warm and subtly sweet aroma with bergamot and chamomile.

This is deeper than the other Bergamot and Chamomile aromatherapy offering , but it is not super strong. However, it is strong enough to be noticed right away when I apply it, and it lasts soooooo long.

On my hands, I still smell it after washing them with a fruity scented soap. The consistency is not as thick as regular BBW lotions. However, it is still super moisturizing and spreadable! Sometimes BBW brings things back and changes everything.

That’s not the case here. It might be slightly lighter than its previous iteration, but not by much. I still have an older bottle and I am happy the scent is unchanged and it seems like the lotion consistency is nicer.

Give this one a try if you haven’t liked any other Aromatherapy, and especially if you enjoyed Black Chamomile in the past. It was a winner then, and it’s still a winner.

I provided a stellar review for the Lavender Vanilla and now for the Black Chamomile aromatherpay lotion. The Black Chamomile is wonderful and I really enjoy the sense of calm that comes when I use this product.

I am a Reiki practitioner and the aromatherpay lotion on my hands adds to the experience my clients receive during a Reiki session. I highly recommend this product. It is my favorite lotion and I use it on its own often.

It is also exceptionally nice layered with the Lavender Vanilla. I really enjoy this line of products.

I’m so annoyed with Bath and Body constantly changing their best scents! I loved the regular old Lavender scent! It was amazing but this Lavender Vanilla is just awful! I finally found one a couple of months ago that was Lavender Tea tree and it was pretty good and they no longer carry that either! I’m NOT a vanilla scent person, never have been so there are no longer lotion choices for me at Bath and Body!! I did find a Dr Teal’s lavender that’s pretty good so I’ve definitely switched!! Why Bath and Body do y’all keep screwing around with your best and amazing scents??? It really makes me angry!!.

I’m a diabetic with chronically dry skin and I’ve tried dozens of skin lotions both over-the-counter and prescription. Nothing worked like this PERLIER product. It left my skin feeling smooth as silk and grease-free.

Best of all, my skin still felt smooth the next morning. That amazed me since the effects of most lotions wear off in a matter of minutes to hours. This cream is expensive but not when one jar does the job of several containers of other lotions.

Regardless, because of its effectiveness, it’s worth every penny to me. Obviously, I highly recommend it.

Great quality. Perlier’s products are Italian. i love italian products they are of excellent quality. I also loved the smell of honey. my skin is much cleaner and hydrated with Parlier products. recommend to anyone who loves skin care.

Give your skin.

I used to absolutely LOVE Perlier until I checked their ingredients. I really don’t appreciate that they continue to include parabens! Parabens mimic estrogen. Estrogen can cause blood clots (I have a blood-clotting disorder and have had a pulmonary embolism) and cancer (which I’ve had as well – skin cancer).

So, I will never, ever buy from Perlier again. Clean it up!.

Absolutely love this Beloved coconut and warm vanilla body lotion. The coconut and vanilla scent is perfect – smells wonderful. Not at all overpowering, but soothing for my soul! Easily spreads on my skin and leaves my skin soft and moisturized.

Absorbs quickly and beautifully into my skin. Perfect for my dry skin. Great scent – long lasting too! It is vegan and not made with any harsh chemicals. Very happy with this lotion – my daughter just took it from me so I need to buy another!.

I really like that this lotion does not leave a greasy residue on my skin, and appreciate that it is a better alternative to other brands of fragrance products. This scent in particular is divine. If you love warm vanilla scents, you’ll love this.

The only issue I have is that in my opinion, the scent doesn’t last long. But maybe that’s just on my skin. Regardless, I will definitely keep this product as a go to.

I’ve about finished of my jar of Ambre Vanille. And interestingly enough, also a jar of Brazillian Bum Bum cream. I was getting to repurchase, and out of curiosity read the reviews, which is where I saw reviewers sharing that these were identical but at different price point.

So, of course, I had to get my two jars out to do a side by side comparison. They definitely smell similar. And because human body chemistry is unique, they are probably going to smell more identical on some people than others.

They are not identical on me. And, most importantly they go on differently and perform differently for me. I use the Laura Mercier cremes when my skin is very dry, and especially on my legs and feet.

I moved from Lousiana to New York this year, with very different humidity levels. I have been going to Laura Mercier body cremes so fast that I have to buy more, when usually it would take me a long time to use one up.

On the other hand, my bum bum cream usually only lasts a summer. For me, it’s a better cream in the heat and humidity. The Laura Mercier cremes have stronger fragrances (I also love the fresh fig) and when I put them on before bed, I wake up with the scent on everything.

I happen to like that, and it was another reviewer mentioning it that got me to purchase in the first place. I’ll still likely purchase both. I use them for different things, and at different times of year.

If I want a more dimethicone formulation to keep moisture in while I’m out in the sun, BumBum is my choice. If I need a lot of moisturizing and skin soothing, then I reach for the Laura Mercier. I hope this helps.

So let me begin by saying that I am incredibly picky about scents. I’ve been looking for something luxurious in texture but also in scent and boy oh boy does this deliver. Read the scent description as it is very accurate.

I keep wanting to smell it—it smells THAT good. It is thick while also absorbent yet it keeps skin moisturized long after putting it on. I’m literally laying in bed trying to drink up the scent. If you are hesitant… buy this! I spent probably close to an hour looking through every possible body lotion on this site and nothing stood out to me.

It warm, inviting and alluring. I promise you will love this.

I used to use this lotion a few years ago and loved it! I used to get compliments ALL THE TIME on how I smelled. I recently purchased another jar and the first thing that turned me off was that the jar is now plastic.

It used to be glass and was so nice that way! Second, I’ve become more aware of what goes in to my body and on it and while this cream smells delicious, the ingredients are not safe at all. The ones that stick out off the top of my head are retinyl palmitate, and BHT.

These are known to be unhealthy and I’m no longer comfortable putting them on my skin. Sadly, I will be returning. Also, I tried leaving this exact review on Laura’s site and I got an email back stating that they would not publish it because it didn’t fit their guidelines! What!?! I’ve never heard of an honest review not being posted especially for “guidelines”.

They obviously didn’t like not getting 5 stars, but all I did was leave an honest opinion and facts about ingredients. That’s it! Says a lot about a company when they only want to show the good. I will no longer be purchasing anything LM.

The packaging looks a tad different now, and better! I really appreciate the stunning packaging design!! I LOVE this lotion. I never buy the same stuff twice because i haven’t fallen in love. This i love, finally! There is something about the formula that actually rubs into the skin.

I think most lotions spread and slide around without soaking in. Last night I used a different lotion after my shower and my skin is not happy without this lotion. I have very sensitive skin that has reacted negatively even to expensive and natural lotions.

I will say I do want to try the other scents. This is a unique fruity but sweet scent, a bit too sweet for my taste.

This lotion is fantastic! The aroma lasts a long time; together, the almond and vanilla fragrance compliments each other and I kept getting a waft of the smell nearly all day! I use this after I shower every night, it has made my skin so soft.

I love the fact that it is organic and not full of chemicals. It is everything you want in a lotion and it is all natural. BUT the best thing about Nourish Organics is that it is not only a great product it is not tested on animals.

The smell of this lotion is phenomenal as is the consistency. It hydrates but is not oily, but that’s not why I originally purchased this product. I spent a lot of time researching various lotions that were non-toxic and scored well as far as carcinogenicity, developmental and reproductive toxicity and allergies and immunotoxicities.

All of the ingredients in this lotion scored super well. It’s CLEAN!.

Horrible! Smells EXACTLY like cherry Robitussin!! No vanilla anywhere! Perfect if you like medicinal smells. There hasn’t been a scent as subtle and beautiful as Cozy Fireside S’more. Didn’t smell overly sweet in any way.

It was sublime. Going back to BBW.
