20 Best Vanilla Chai Tea (2022 Updated)

I love the flavor of this tea – it’s perfect just before bed. It has no caffeine, it’s sweet, and it’s that perfect end of day treat. I have also used it to bake apples with. Great! I can’t find it in my local stores anymore, and I was really happy to find it through ebay.

the cinnamon sweetness is unique to most tees, and it is all natural.

I first had a delicious cup of chai tea 🍵, from some local bakery in NYC as a teenager and I couldn’t really do regular tea again. The Twinings of London Chai tea is simply exquisite to say the least.

The aroma alone is quite delectable but the taste as soon as it hits my tongue is quite delicious. From the lovely hints of cinnamon and cardamom to the light taste of clove and ginger. This is a real winner! If I’m correct they even have a spiced one.

You can have quite a delicious cup of tea daily or just for lounging around or a nice little destress of calming, anytime of day without leaving your home.

The French vanilla chai tea was very savory. My favorite spiced Chai ever. I don’t love the distinct flavor of tea, especially the herbal kind. In fact I only started drinking tea because Tom Hiddleston does.

He drinks Earl Grey tea and I haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet but soon. Anyways, this tea has a very pleasant spiced flavor that I associate with winter, which happens to be my favorite season.

It reminds me of fireplaces and warmth and it reminds me of home even though I never leave mine. The camomile was good as well but there’s a hint of that earthy flavor that I’m still not used to. It’s very subtle but I still find it quite endearing just not as much as the chai.

But I liked them both so much that I bought a lot of boxes.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE this tea!! I can make regular chai tea or do an iced chai latte and it’s wonderful for both. I’ve tried the Tazo brand and it just didn’t stand up to this one. I sometimes like to put a bunch together and make a pitcher (I use boiling water and then put it in the fridge after it’s steeped) and I end up drinking it all in a couple days.

I like to add some French vanilla creamer and it’s perfect. If I’m feeling frisky I will add some cinnamon dolce syrup to it. Definitely a staple product in my home!!.

At first, I was excited to see this chai, as they had it in the vanilla flavor. Oh my gosh, the clove flavor in it just absolutely overwhelms all the other flavors. It literally gave me a migraine. No more Oregon Chai for me.

If you love clove, then give it a try. Easy to prepare and convenient.

i’ve tried chais from starbucks to dunkin’ donuts and this is by far the best one i’ve had super easy equal parts milk and chai mix and it tastes amazing i love this stuff went through one container in a day and at a price point of ~3-4$ it’s moderately affordable.

all in all great product that you need in your fridge.

I love making iced chai at home. For me, this is the best choice in concentrated chai tea options. I’ve tried Tavo and other brands and don’t seem to enjoy it as much. When vanilla isnt available, I throw a splash of vanilla creamer in.

I use almond milk and ice to make the perfect chai in my kitchen. It saves me a lot of money and tastes just like Starbucks because I’m pretty sure they use the same mix. Delicious!.

This is my go to tea. I have always been a coffee drinker but had to make a change for medical reasons. I tried several types of black tea trying to find the right replacement. I literally can’t do without my morning Vanilla Chai.

I found this store on Facebook. My husband and I are both 65, and we decided to stop drinking coffee. We tried this wonderful Vanilla Chai tea, it has such unique flavors! We both really like the taste.

Great balance between the chai spices and the added vanilla. All the ingredients were fresh and crisp, not too dry or brittle. It’s perfect for a morning pick-me-up!

I like strong black tea. So I add one PG Tips black tea bag to a large mug and one of these Bigelow Vanilla Chai tea bags for an extra-strong tea that has a lovely hint of vanilla and spice. The vanilla even smells amazing.

This tea is a little on the lighter side for my taste, but I buy it for the vanilla spice flavor. It is reasonably priced and widely available at grocery stores and retailers such as Target. A staple in my pantry.

This is the most delicious vanilla chai I have ever tasted, and I have tasted many. I love that they left pepper out of their spice bouquet, because for me, pepper completely ruins the flavors of the warm spices.

This is the perfect cup of tea to drink while curling up with a book! I like to make it with a 50/50 blend of water and milk and just a touch of sugar. Brown sugar plays up the warm spices beautifully.

I love having a cup of hot tea a day. I always get black tea and I haven’t tried Bigelow flavored tea. I always use another brand. But if you like vanilla you like chai, this is your tea. I need mine on the sweeter side so I use Splenda with mine.

I’m curious of how it would taste as iced tea. Recommended to try the flavor!.

This is the best chai tea that I have found at my local grocery store. The Vanilla Chai is a perfect blend of creamy vanilla flavor with chai spices. Too many chai teas have a weird blend of spices, but this one is so creamy and comforting.

It’s the perfect tea to curl up by the fire with on a cold winter day!.

I love this tea. I drink Tazo Chai as well, but prefer this Bigalow product’s taste. The shipping cost was higher than I wanted to pay, but Walmart’s product is an actual case of boxes, where as Amazon’s product is a case of just the tiny k-cups.

I liked the flavor but it was purchased for a tea drinker and they didn’t care for it as much as they had other brands.

This is the first chance I have had to review this. I’m not a huge fan of the Pukka teas; although it is fair to say I have not tried all of them. Yogi tea is my go to brand. However, I have to say that this is my favourite Pukka tea (of the ones I’ve tried) so far.

On days when I am having fresh fruit and cereal for breakfast with plain yoghurt, it’s the only drink that is the perfect accompaniment; since the yoghurt can change the taste of all other drinks I have tried – except this one! I adore vanilla and the flavour of cinnamon but the flavour of this tea is fairly mild, so if you don’t want something overpowering just something very comforting and relaxing then this is ideal and I would thoroughly recommend.

It’s different to what I expected but still quite nice. It’s basically like the normal herbal teas with Indian chai flavours but this one has the extra vanilla flavour added in there. The vanilla is a nice touch tbh.

If I leave the teabag in for 10mins it’s nice and light and tastes the best. I can drink it just like that without adding honey (for my sweet tooth). The recommendation is to leave the teabag in for upto 15mins at which point it’s quite strong and I can’t really taste the 2 teaspoons of honey.

So you can make it to your taste, light or strong :-).

That is what my son-in-law taught our 5 yr old twin grand-daughters to say about the Seattle Seahawks when the fam lived there! Mommy didn’t think it was funny, but Grandma did! This tea hits the spot on this cold winter night here on the coast of Oregon where we live! It has the yummy chai spices in “full moon” expression, as in the name of the tea.

Add a dash of milk and a few drops of maple syrup and some Torani French Vanilla syrup. and you have an absolute HOMERUN tea going!.

I love this tea hot. I was looking for a ginger tea but I am not a fan of green teas. After trying many ginger teas I discovered # tea, again I was hesitant as I do not care for green teas. This is an affordable tea and after trying it I did not taste that green tea flavor that I do not like.

I just taste the beautiful ginger flavor that I was looking for. There are many benefits of ginger and green tea. Most people know it helps calm indigestion and gives relief from morning and motion sickness.

Ginger tea has been shown to reduce inflammation and fight off nausea. Two of the lesser known benefits of ginger tea is it helps with muscle pain and pain from osteoarthritis. Then after doing more research on the green tea is it is packed full of nutrients and antioxidants that may increase fat burning.

OK this was bonus of that “green tea” that I did not think I liked. I also discovered since green tea naturally contain caffeine it helps with constipation. Tazo green ginger tea contains 16 to 30 mg of caffeine.

Okay so not enough to keep me awake but enough to help with constipation. This tea quick became my warm go to beverage that was in my budget. Many of the other ginger teas I tried were over $4. 50 for a box of 18 to 20 bags.

I am not a real big tea drinker. Neither hot nor iced tea. But i always do keep certain blends in my pantry at home for the multiple different benefits that each one of them are said to provide. One type of tea I almost always have on hand at my home is a good ginger tea.

I started drinking ginger tea back in 2014-2015 during my pregnancy with my now soon to be 6 year old daughter due to severe nausea thru out the entire length of my pregnancy. Which is obviously incredibly awful.

i was up in the wee morning hours most nights unable to sleep due to the overwhelmimg nausea and even when I would get sick, it many times still gave me no relief from the nausea feeling which is something that is uncommon for me and most because typically once you are able to get sick you have an instant better feeling and the nausea subsides even if only for a half hour or so til it returns.

I tried so many different things that just didnt touch the nausea it was so extreme. I drank a lot of ginger ale and I only ended up throwing it all back up before it would even get the chance to settle my stomach anyway.

So I was grocery shopping one afternoon when I noticed a box of Ginger tea on the shelf and it got me thinking that since ginger is an all natural remedy to calm nausea then ginger tea would be a good source as opposed to even ginger ale considering it would have the real deal actual ginger root in the tea bag so like pretty close to the purest form.

Of the ginger root. So I picked up this Tazo brand tea and began drinking it in the am in the afternoon amd at nights before heading to bed for the night. And while of course it did not diminish my nausea.

i can say that the nights seemed to be so much better on me with bouts of nausea occurring all thru out the night becoming much more i frequent than the nearly every night before the tea. And not. Just those benefits but I also found that the taste was enjoyable to me with a bit of lemon and some honey as well.

I have started having my 10 year old daughter drink a cup of this warm ginger tea when she complains of stomach aches before administering any meds because more often than not it does calm her stomach enough tonwhere it is not overwhelming.

Tazo definitely makes a top notch tea product.

I love tea, so for me to stop and write a review it has to be special. A friend asked me to try this tea and of course I was all about it. First the aroma. The orange aroma just busted out like gang busters.

It drew my attention right in. Then the flavor. OMG what an amazing taste. It actually tastes like orange. Many teas claim to have the flavor but none like this. This tea is by far the best I’ve ever had bar none.

I am ruined for other tea now. I have boxes of other tea that just sit around in the cupboard waiting for guests to come over to drink those.

After what seemed like an Out-Of-Stock eternity, I was finally able to order Big Train Chocolate Chai Latte the first week of January. My box arrived the evening of January 11. I practically kissed the UPS driver! I’ve been drinking CCL for close to 20 years! Nearly every morning.

And in the Original Big Train Mug- the one displayed on the chai bag. Now that bag is a redesign. I can’t say I like it. I will forever miss the shiny purple bag with “My Chai Mug” on its face! Even the taste seems different.

Not the same level of spices, perhaps? I expected the price to increase, So $10 an order is not exorbitant, but a coupon or repeating customer discount would be nice! Thank you for Years of Breakfast Bliss in a Cup! ❤.

My first love was Big Train’s Low Carb Spiced Chai. When they stopped making it, I switched to the sugar laden Spiced Chai. The taste is great and would be even better with less sugar. It doesn’t need to be so sweet.

Ideally the company should make it with stevia. I’ve been doing business with J. L. Hufford for decades and their products and customer service are first rate.

Omg this is by far the best spiced chai latte EVER! Very affordable for the amount you get. And the flavor is to die for. There is no way to improve on this. It knocks any other brands out of the playing field.

I’m a repeat offender because I’m addicted to this chai latte. B.

Little by little, over the past two years, Unilever has cheapened the tea blend on Tazo Awake. Excited to see them offer a 48-count box, but I also cringed, because I was worried the quality would suffer to compensate for the relatively affordable amount of bags.

My most recent box, purchased in December 2021, with a sell-by date of June 15, 2023, I noticed that this box of bags tastes even less distinctive and more like a lot of other standard cheaper brands.

It’s a shame that corporate nerds that run (ruin) these brands think product integrity is insignificant and customers won’t notice or care, but they will and they do.

This Tazo Green Tea tastes amazing. It’s got a very natural Green Tea taste. Remember to get the Tazo Tea Green Tea – China Green Tips. Tazo also makes come combination Green Tea’s where they add flavors to the Green Tea like Lemongrass.

Trust me on this, the Tazo Tea Green Tea – China Green Tips is the best one I put 2 teaspoons of Florida crystals turbinado sugar with it. That’s the brown crystal sugar that’s similar to the sugar in the raw turbinado sugar.

Love this tea & great price for large supply! Chai tea is my crazy favorite drink, but Im pre-diabetic so have to watch my sugar intake. I drive-thru Starbucks for it but they dont have a low sugar choice.

The only low sugar choice Ive found is much pricier per cup. This one is truly delicious & a very good value.

This is by far the best spiced chai tea mix ive ever had! It mixes so beautifully in just about anything. It doesnt leave a nasty pile of the mix in the bottom of your cup! I personally love it with some torani white chocolate! So amazing.

I do wish it would come in a better container, like a plastic tub.

Customers love love this! I have to order plenty; because I dare not run out. lol! It’s one of our top sellers. this or “dirty chai”; which adds espresso! It’s a bit too “spiced” for my personal taste, but customers love it.

I used the Tejava original tea bags to brew tea, let it cool, then poor over ice. It’s plenty good as far as iced tea goes, but it doesn’t have the same flavor as the bottled tea. So, if you’re looking to replicate the bottled tea, the tea bag’s unfortunately aren’t a good substitute.

Also, the tea bags are pretty pricey….

I was so happy to get these tea bags. I’m using them to brew my own iced tea until the liter bottles are available again. There was a shipping glitch resulting in being shorted a box’ which was promptly fixed.

Tejava is the best!.

I seek far and wide for Tejava tea. It’s clearly the best black tea available. Nothing fancy and it has a clean finish. Just great tea for the purist.

This is a bit nostalgic for me, a local coffee shop used to serve this and they shut down. Took me awhile to find what they used; this was it. It’s delicious iced, blended, or hot. I prefer it with half n half over regular milk.

I have been drinking this stuff for years and to be honest it’s one of the best tasting chai mixes out there. Best made with milk, Big Train Vanilla Chai is a smooth, creamy beverage that is suitable for anytime of year (seeing as you can make it iced and hot) and for everyone in the family.

I will continue to buy this brand and try out many of their flavors. PS they had a gingerbread flavor also! Not sure if that’s still around but if it is, it’s definitely a strong second to the vanilla.

I’m a big fan of chai and was thrilled to find out a company like Big Train makes an instant mix for it. It’s delicious and convenient to have year round since it’s a powder. The reason I gave this chai four stars is that I find myself using many more scoops than the instructions suggest because I don’t find it sting enough.

Otherwise, it’s got a rich, creamy flavor and I definitely plan on buying it again.

Buyer Beware. I ordered 4 cases of six 10 oz cans. What I received is not Pacific Chai. Been drinking this product daily (six 16 0z cups a day) for over 15 years. The usual mix has always been a light tan color.

Whatever is in these cans is not Pacific chai vanilla chai tea latte. The mix is gray! There is NO chai flavor or even tea flavor at all. The product in these cans is not what I ordered.

I love quite a few brands of chai tea, but this brand is one of my favorites. It is delicious as both a hot or an iced drink. It is the closest brand I could find that tastes like a favorite coffee shop of mine from High School.

Pacific Chai Pacific Chai Spice 3-pound Canister, Instant, Powdered [Spice] is on the sweeter side, but reminds me off a Fall drink, with a little bit of spice to it. Smells a little bit like pumpkin pie when being made.

I drink this constantly. It gives me that warm feeling in my stomach without being too overpowering. Other chai I’ve tasted off but this is amazing.

I love chai abd exploring different chai blends. Unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me. It has a somewhat licorice like synthetic taste that I don’t identify with traditional Indian chai. I don’t buy again.

Delicious chai tea with a nice, but not too strong, hint of vanilla. A favorite to alternate with Bombay Chai. Both are very authentic in flavor and taste. After use, the Vanilla Veda Chai leaves fill my room with a nice scent, even from the wastebasket.

A wonderful tea. My first experience with loose leaf tea was with your world of tea’s assortment. I enjoyed them all but especially Morrocan Mint and the Bombay Chai. I always enjoy the flavor of vanilla so the Vanilla Verde Chai drew my attention.

I made an excellent choice. I enjoy it most by making it on the lite side, slightly less than a teaspoon.

I was looking for peach-flavored tea K-cups since Snapple discontinued theirs (which were excellent). I decided to give Tejava Peach Tea K-pods a try, based on their online description. I found the tea to have a great, full-bodied, robust black tea flavor and highly recommend it for that.

BUT since its advertised peach flavor is nearly non-existent, I gave the rating a 3. Had the peach flavor been there, I would have given it 5 stars. I still may reorder it from time to time, but only as an exceptional black tea.

I received this tejava unsweetened black tea pods with natural peach flavor, award-winning tea, 100% recyclable single serve cups | keurig k-cup compatible (24 count) product for free through the Walmart Spark Reviewer program.

These say they are K-cup compatible and they are true to that claim as they worked perfectly in my Keurig. The tea itself was good, though I had to add sugar to mine because I found the tea to be more on the bitter side than what I am used to.

The tea was also good hot as well as being placed over ice after letting it cool down. It also has a very subtle peach flavor which was pleasant and refreshing. All in all this was a good tea and I would recommend it.

It’s just too bad it was unsweetened.

I had ordered a case of the very hard to find mango pineapple black tea and was looking forward to it. It turns out I had ordered the peach flavored black te a in error. For reasons I don’t understand peach flavored tea doesn’t work for me.

However because I had accidentally ordered a case I tried one knowing I could give it to a friend if I really didn’t like it for sure and am now as addicted to the peach as I am to the mango pineapple.

I’m also now purchasing my tea directly from Tejava and find their customer service and timeliness of shipments and keeping me informed for superior to the prior services I had been using. It’s sometimes not the most cost-efficient way to make tea in K-Cups but it’s my morning vise for my morning commute and I can’t give it up.
