20 Best Vanilla Essential Oil (2022 Updated)

This is pure vanilla aroma like smelling a baking extract. Ten stars for aroma. It’s hard to use though. It’s thick and brown. It does NOT blend with a carrier oil but can be used to infuse a carrier over time.

I put some in a rollerball with Fco and while it separates quickly, a month later the fco has a good mild pure aroma though. Shake once a day for over a month to infuse into a carrier. Do NOT put this in a diffuser.

It will clog and short out an ultrasonic diffuser beyond cleaning repair. It will burn in a wick/pad style warming diffuser and stick the wick to the element. It would be good in a wick inhaler. It could be put in boiling water simmered on the stove but be prepared to scrub the pot.

I made lip balm with this. In a tube it’s unsuccessful, but if you stir constantly till partially solidified and put this in a pot/tin, it’s a yummy smelling balm. Again, a month later sitting in a container, it infused the balm enough to re-melt and put some in a mint blend; I used spearmint and it’s gentle and good to inhale from the lips for nausea.

Love this vanilla and keep an inhaler close for emotional support but wish there was a version that could be used in an ultrasonic diffuser for room aroma.

This vanilla oleoresin is my absolute favorite. A little piece of heaven in a bottle. I’m so glad I have this in my life. The scent of vanilla is so comforting and relaxing. It is perfect on it’s own, or add it to basically anything to make it better.

It’s a staple in my two anxiety rollerballs that double as perfume. They wouldn’t be as great as they are without vanilla. My favorite use for this is to add a couple drops to a small travel spray bottle, add only water because this vanilla is an absolute and will immediately dissolve in the water and it stays mixed.

I use the spray as a body mist, to freshen rooms, and even linens. Perfection!.

When starting my essential oil life, I noticed more and more vanilla being added to blends and diffuser recipes. Discovered that Eden’s Garden carried it and eventually got some to try. From the first sniff of the bottle, I could tell this should be a main staple in anyone’s essential oil supply.

I have recently found a blend for stress and anxiety via Pinterest and used some of my new vanilla oleoresin in it and it really adds a lovely, deeper and luxurious note to the whole mixture. It’s what really great quality vanilla smells like that you cook with and does essentially the same for your oil blends that it does in cooking.

It enhances everything and takes it to that next level. Very happy with this EG purchase!.

I can’t say enough good things about this vanilla oil. It’s dark and thick, like actually vanilla essential oil which leaves me to question what the other companies are selling. Do yourself a favor and order this oil! You won’t regret any of your purchases from this company!.

Smells lovely, but perhaps a bit messy to use, given the nature of the product and the lack of a true vanilla essential oil. Excellent for natural perfumery when used very sparingly.

This is a really good vanilla scent with just a hint of cinnamon. I like the fact that it’s organic and all natural. I took off one star on the review because my product took nearly 3 weeks to be delivered.

For the higher price I paid, I just expected a more expedited shipping process. Other than that, if you like vanilla and cinnamon this is a good essential oil to purchase. Would recommend.

I don’t like smell that are above the normal, so, it has been hard finding essences for my diffuser. This is a treatment for severe stress as I lost my business and, soon will be homeless. So, I wanted something to help me chill and dream that a miracle can happen.

At least enjoy the last few weeks in my upper middle class home, before I’m on the streets. Well, I am pleased that relaxation is achieved without offensive odor or pain to my nostrils. Very subtle smell.

I diffuse this in my children’s room. It’s pleasing and has a nice calming effect. The price is right compared to young living and dottera and it smells exactly like young livings calm oil. Highly recommend.

I used this on my older BMW’s that kinda lost their leather smell i used to love. It smells great and lasts longer than those watered down leather scents that never quite get the scent right. I put it in my cabin air filters.

spray it all over the carpet. The seats even get a good coat. It’s oil. Leather needs to be conditioned every once and a while, then it rubs off on me and makes me smell like a man that just got off a horse on a long ride(minus the horse smell) lol !.

I probably go overboard and use a whole 4oz bottle on 1 car, but i don’t mind. I love the smell of some good ole musky leather and the cost is very cheap. I am pretty sure if you buy it, use is sparingly and you wont be disappointed.

I have used Sassafras oil in a spray for years to freshen up areas like around the cats litter box. It does a good job at masking unpleasant odors without being overwhelming to my senses. Our cats have no problem in showing their displeasure when I do something they dont like, but they havent complained about a dilute sassafras oil sprayed on their litter.

It is a strong but not unpleasant odor. This product is comparable to Sassafras oil I have purchased over the years. Our elder cat is 19+ years now.

This is my favorite scented fragrant oil that I have ever tried. It smells like a bouquet of the most beautiful flowers mixed with some good smelling perfume emanating from the flowers that together create the most heavenly scent.

I have added this oil to all of my oils that I didn’t like so I don’t have to end up throwing the others away, and surprisingly it has made each one of the bad smelling and rancid oils smell so nice and so sweet.

It’s an amazing oil, a rare find and a treasure! I’m so happy for finding this oil when I didn’t know anything about it, I just took a chance and bought some. I love the smell of vanilla – it conjures up mom’s cookies or cakes in the kitchen, so warm and cozy! I purchased this delicious vanilla bean fragrance oil from Piping Rock during a sale (it was so inexpensive I had to try it!) and it’s become one of my faves in my small Piping Rock diffuser I use in the kitchen – a delicious and warm scent.

It’s lightly vanilla to me, not overwhelming and just potent enough to remove any lingering strong food smells (its probably just me but I can’t handle those lingering food smells lol!!!). Just a note: it is a fragrance oil and not an essential oil; I noticed in others reviews they were disappointed so suggest trying Piping Rocks essential oils or pure vanilla granules in their soaps, beard oils, creams and candles if wanting a more powerful vanilla experience!.

I am utterly in love with this vanilla bean fragrance oil! I’m on my third bottle in total – I initially ordered it in the smaller size but as soon as it arrived I just knew I had to repeat purchase but this time get the larger bottle.

This scent is sweet, dreamy and definitely a favourite! I’ve used it in my diffuser, my body lotion and made an oil based perfume with it – I can’t get enough of this scent!!! I just wish that the scent lasted a little longer on the skin.

You can still smell it as the day goes on but it becomes quite faint so I end up constantly topping up with my oil perfume.

I received the oil quickly. It was packaged very well. High quality lavender at a great price! It’s such a true Lavender scent – sometimes I just take the top off the bottle and take in a whiff of it, The smell is not too over-powering but neither is it under-whelming.

As someone who worked here, these products are mysterious imported fragrance oils mixed with a basic carrier oil. I spent most of my employment explaining to customers what wasn’t in the oils and that I’m not actually allowed to tell them what’s in the fragrance oils.

The environment for employees was hostile when I worked there and the owner was not present enough to be accountable. Often misrepresented as black-owned and they seem to love it, despite being owned by a white woman named Denise.

Terrible company overall. If you’d like to support a quality fragrance company out of Tucson, AZ I would suggest Kate’s Magik.

I love this product!! I bought it a while ago and I have used it to its last drop. I love that its and essential oil fragrance. It use a few drops and it last the whole day. I get compliments on the scent all the time and highly recommend this product.

This fragrance is light and soft a great scent if you like flowers its a very romantic scent.

Kuumba-Made egyptian musk oil is the gold standard for perfume oils. I’ve been a loyal customer for over a decade and have purchased it more times than I can count. I pip it into my cart whenever I’m grocery shopping at Whole foods.

At less than $11 a bottle you can afford to mix and match. The egyptian musk variety is my firm favorite. It goes on sweet and gets better as your skin warms up. I recommend it to all my friends and family.

I am so sorry to have to give a bad review, but this tea tree oil was half the price of all the others, and upon receiving it, I know why. It is clearly diluted at least 50% with water. I have used tea tree oil, many brands, for decades, and this does not smell at ALL like any others.

it is a very weak version.

This is a great product for keeping mice out of our cars. They are so bad this year in one of our cars and we never had a problem in that car before. Try it, works great. Put it on cotton balls and but it around the car and under the seats.

Reduced my congestion 80% in one day! Just applied it to my neck and chest, very little too. Prescribed meds just made me worse. Breathing is increasingly better, big time.

This spray is the perfect gift for someone who is on the go! The spray is a quick and luxurious way to hydrate your skin quickly and easily. Love this product as I am currently disabled and rubbing in lotions leaves me exhausted so this is amazing!! The smell is light and enough and also able to be layered with more fragrance.

This was another blind buy and I’m happy with it. To me, its like 65% vanilla 35% patchouli, its got a certain sweetness to it as well that isnt too bakery-vanilla, and the patchouli is just enough (because alot of patchouli ends up smelling too much like garden soil and people just assume you’ve just smoked a joint lol) this is like, a sophisticated Grateful Dead fan going on a date night scent ;-).

I love the way it smells however it’s very faint, even layered with lotion. I wish it were strong and in your face. It’s a good balance of vanilla and patch but again they’re both exceptionally light.

There are much better quality vanilla patch frags out there.

I am French , and I am sorry for my bad English grammar. I love diptyque candles (used to go to bld Saint Germain to buy them 20 years ago when I was younger. ). One of my favorite is the figuier. However they are quite pricey in the US.

I have been trying to make my own candles recently. While it is not so difficult DIY project, the challenge and most important part is to find good fragrances. I have tried many before I bought Stone candle fragrances.

They all smelt either artificial (and not even close to the natural fragrances) either won t diffuse any fragrance while the candle is burning. i rarely give my opinion about products because I feel that everything is a matter of taste which depends on each of us but I would like to give my review for stone candle figuier, verveine and jasmine fragrances because these fragrances do matter for me, and Stone candle really aced them.

Stone candle Fragrances did really bring me back into my memories and this is what i am looking for from fragrances (please read Proust’s books if this appeals to you): -figuier fragrance, my favorite diptyque candle when I was leaving in Quartier Latin and unexpectedly the fragrance from my husband ‘s Corsican village; -jasmine flowers that reminds me my trips in India where women wear jasmine flowers in their hair and smelt better that “French cocotte” with Chanel perfume (about that , I bought 2 different ones jasmin and Persian jasmine, both of them smelt good but I really preferred Persian jasmine) -finally verveine that has been sublimated by Michel Guerard (one or maybe the oldest 3 starred Michelin Chef at Eugénie-les-bains) and who makes wonderful dishes or cocktails with verveine.

So please don t buy cheap and artificial fragrances from other company. You will be disappointed. Although Stone candle fragrances might be slightly more expensive, here there are no mysteries, complots or scams, just quality and expertise.

So my modest advice is please go for Stone candle, you won’t be disappointed.

I have just started exploring fragrances from Stone Candles and I have to say I am more than impressed. The quality is outstanding and each of the scents I ordered are perfect. The Lotus Scent stood out to me and I will be thrilled to introduce it in my candle line.

I love this Patchouli & Sandalwood fragrance oil. It’s a nice balance and smells like a luxury scent. It can be used alone or as a blender. I love custom blending fragrance oils and this one can be blended with so many other scents.

I loved Palo Santo sticks for smudging. I’d whiff the bag of sticks because it was such a wonderful light and loving scent! When I found Fabulous Frannie’s Palo Santo oil (I’d never seen the oil before) I had to try it.

At these prices I can afford to sample new varieties. So happy with Palo Santo oil! Oh my gosh, talk about soothing. The scent relieves my mild anxiety and blended with hemp oil (maybe a nut oil would be the best for scent blending) and applied to skin it is very relaxing to mind and body.

I suspect because the wood is great for smudging, the oil must have the property of protection & cleansing. Palo Santo is considered a Holy tree.

I have bought this product many times. This order did not have the same scent, at all. The essential oil did not smell anything like the many Peppermint Fabulous Frannie products I have previously ordered.

They have either changed the formula or it is not an authentic Fabulous Frannie product. Either way, I will not be using it and unfortunately it is not returnable for a refund.

The scent of the grass oil is good but does not quite smell like grass. Perhaps it is my personal experience, but I remember having had a grass oil many years ago that immediately reminded me of fresh cut grass.

This oil does not. It strongly reminds me of fresh cut grass but it’s not quite “the” smell. As the three questions above do not allow for qualifiers, here are my actual answers:: Recommend it? Perhaps; others may like the scent, regardless of whether it is true to grass or not.

Good value? If this was 100% extract of grass, the price is great! Yes Good quality? I really can’t assess that.

This is a soft and fresher scented version of honeysuckle fragrance than I have recently purchased from other companies. I am a soapmaker, and the last 3 batches of honeysuckle made from 3 different providers’ oils did not sell for me at all as the scent was just not pretty at all, and one even smelled musty.

This Essential Trading company honeysuckle scent is very fresh. I have used it in combination with rose geranium to produce my version of honeysuckle rose and it sold quickly! I now have a batch curing with just the honeysuckle, and I expect it to sell quickly as well.

In the summer months, honeysuckle is normally popular for providing that sweet summer scent that reminds you of a walk through grandmother’s garden. This one is that scent.

This oil has the most wonderful fragrance. I gave it four star because it didn’t last as long as I thought it should. I really don’t know what the normal time is. But you can’t go wrong with this. I also used a different” burner”.

Instead of the Tea light I have one with a light bulb in it for the heat source. Just wonderful aroma.

Easy to order and find products that other websites don’t carry anymore. I put this scent in my cast iron pots on my firestove. Very pleasant scent when heated up.

I first purchased this oil from a store in Lake George, NY – they were using it to entice & set an ambiance. Then I thought, oh heck, they probably had a few oil burners going and it won’t smell nearly as good or as strong in my home.

All I can say is that this is by far the best, and richest, oil that I have ever purchased. It fills my entire sun room & den area with just one plug-in oil burner. And the Cabernet Scent is incredible and long lasting.

It is very difficult to find tobacco essential oil. Even more difficult to find one that is not an absolute. This oil smells like a sweet pineapple with rich tobacco scent. I have only used in an automizer so far.

It blends really well with several other essential oils. I live in a desert and have not used in candle wax yet, but I believe it will be incredible. (It has been 100+ degrees daily since I purchased, candles/tarts etc are too hot to use in summer.

) Regardless of intended use of this oil, I do recommend this product. I am a smoker and can smell the tobacco essence undertone. I am quite pleased with this oil after already purchasing from other vendors, including from other countries.

This is the best tobacco oil I have in my collection.

This product does not smell like plumeria or a hint of plumeria. The oil blend is pleasant, yet if you are wishing the real scent, this is not it. How do I know? Because I have plumeria plants in my backyard.

I liked that this oil came in a dark blue glass bottle. It smells ok. I was hoping that it would smell more like the Bath and Body works version. It does not. The oil seems like it is diluted. It is’nt strong like other essential oils blends I have purchased.

I was hoping this would be like another brand I bought because the other one only comes in 1/2 oz. bottles but it is like the B&BW version.

THIS SMELLS AMAZING!\nOrdered on June 19th and arrived June 29th and it smells exactly as I imagined it would. I have been searching for something like this for so long. It has a very natural & gentle vanilla scent that I just love so much.

I love that it is 100% natural, no chemicals whatsoever. And I was actually surprised how much bigger the bottle is in real life. My dad approved of it too and he wants me to buy him some oil rollers for him.

This is a lovely fragrance. It’s very soft and doesn’t have that plastic, artificial scent that some vanilla fragrances have. It only lasted about an hour before completely fading.

These are THE WORST oils. They’re terrible quality and they had almost some to no scent at all. I have never in my life bought such substandard products. Plus I am still waiting for my refund. I purchased 5-6 separate oils and to my shock they were all horrible.

I really like this Vanilla Essential Oil and now I can make my very own concoction of Vanilla and Lavender Essential Oil. Great value, too, for the money.

What I like that it smells like cookies. But then again it is fragrance oil. It’s not a rare fragrance that somebody would want to spend $12 for when you can get yourself a 1 oz to a 2 oz bottle for the same price.

This is a pleasant smell to me. I have lung problems so burning white sage was not a good option. I made a spray and use it this way to clear myself and things. I found it is not easy to find in essential oils.

Very clean and pure smelling and the hyacinth scent is upliftingly, glorious. Almost better than the real thing.
