20 Best Vegan Collagen Powder (2022 Updated)

I am not a vegan and normally use animal based collagens, but I am not opposed to vegan alternatives/meals. My first consideration of a collagen powder is the ease of mixing. I like to have it in my coffee.

Then there is taste. Although they call it unflavored, it actually has a smooth, toasted, sweet, nutty flavor that I cannot place. It actually makes my coffee taste pleasant. It uses brown rice, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, which probably explains that natural flavor.

I cannot opine about the efficacy of this collagen powder any more than I can about my normal powder. Research is still divided regarding the usefulness and requirements, but nonetheless, I have supplemented with it for a very long time.

I have worked out for over 40 years and I have no joint or tendon issues, still have a good ability to build muscle, along with great muscle tone. I will add, that my skin is smooth, clear, and tight and doctors even comment on it.

So, I will keep using collagen powders! This is one of the reasons that I didn’t give it 5 stars. I haven’t used this one long enough without my traditional powder, to determine if it provides the same results.

Plus, I am not a collagen powder expert.

The product is completely fine – easy to blend into smoothies or sauces. No complaints. My hesitancy lies in whether the vegan aspect of this “collagen” results in any actual collagen benefit within my body, since by definition collagen is (non-vegan) connective tissue.

However, any benefit will be a plus, and I don’t expect any negative results!.

I absolutely LOVE Vega Beauty Collagen. Not only that I enjoy adding it to my Protein shake or my blended smoothie, I can add it to yogurt and to hot almond milk or even some coffee drinks, But I also love the fact that I can consume Collagen and it is vegan! for years I have been looking for Collagen , but being a vegan, did not want the usual collagen you find everywhere, that is make out of animals.

I am grateful for this product!.

As someone who isn’t typically a fan of chocolate, the taste of this is really delicious. I don’t find the chocolate taste to be too harsh, rich or overly sweet tasting like other chocolate flavored products – instead its velvety and creamy.

Super delicious! I also love that its completely plant based. As someone who tries to eat mostly a vegan diet, its I great to finally have an option that gives me all the benefits of collagen without using animal products.

I absolutely love the Collagen Burn and Collagen Booster!!!! I was totally skeptical at first before ordering but went for it!!!! I can honestly say I have noticed that my cellulite on my legs is gone!!!!! have now signed up for the reoccurring order for Collagen Burn!!!.

I would have liked it in Watermelon but it tastes fine if it is cold 🥶. I mix it with the Watermelon digestive enzymes product. 😋. I drink it in the afternoon with lunch. I use the complete Collagen power in my coffee in the morning.

I’m 62 and my skin is very moist, taunt and has a lot of elasticity to it 🤗.

Overall this was a good experience with this product. All of us have never had any experience with using or taking collagen supplements. After thoroughly going through all the product and reviewing any changes some of us noticed some slight changes in hair and nail growth/health others saw no changes at all.

We all had mixed reviews when mixing this with just water, but all of us found it A LOT better when mixing with regular milk or an almond milk. The consistency of the product when mixed was nice. Sometimes these powered mixes can taste like cardboard.

But none of us found that this was the case.

I wanted an alternative to bovine based collagen to help support healthy hair and nails. Aloe Gorgeous is a game changer. I have been using it for about a year now. My hair and nails have never looked better.

My hair is growing in thicker and longer. My hair stylist is amazed at the difference. My nails are stronger and grow quickly. I think that’s the only downside. More trips for a mani/pedi. 🙂 I mix Aloe Gorgeous (Vanilla flavor) together with Easy Being Green (Orange flavor) every morning first thing.

Love this start to my day.

I haven’t used this as much as I had hoped because the taste is so overpowering in my coffee. It’s almost too much some mornings and I end up getting a second cup without it because the flavor is so strong.

I have the vanilla flavor but I wish there was an unflavored one. I have always taken collagen and the benefits are wonderful! But I switched to this one for the plant based formula and cleanness of it.

I honestly might go back to the one I used prior because I just can’t stand the taste. Even in my smoothies it’s too much. Ora is a great company and I use other products from them, but I won’t be adding this to my rotation.

If you can stand the taste I’m sure the benefits would be well worth it but I just can’t do it. Collagen is great to add into your self care routine. It also leaves this weird dark residue at the bottom of my cups, and it’s kind of off-putting.

I bought this stuff bulk for myself to last the whole year. Only to find out this tub of collagen quickly turns into rocks & is hard to break down. Even trying to crush it it still forms large clumps in the drink.

Tried cold , warm & even hot water. Same result. Even when I wash it it has a hard time going down the drain so I used the garbage disposal. Big mistake! Not only did my garbage disposal break it also broke the brand new $1,000 garbage disposal.

Luckily it broke within warranty time frame yet this stuff seriously forming into rocks. I tried putting the rest of the tubs in zip lock bags. same thing. The only product that actually doesn’t clump is getting these powders in bought individual bags.

cost more money yet this stuff rocks with results in less finer lines so be cautious.

I purchased this powder a few weeks ago, and have been using it every second day or so The contents certainly cover a range of nutritional ingredients, and the main aspect I have found is that I have more energy, and my digestion has improved.

Being all natural ingredients this is sure to increase my cellular strength over time, and as I only take herbs and partake in natural therapies, this product a good addition to my dietary needs. Very pleasant to take, and I usually take it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.

I have been using this product for more than a week. The taste is very strong and you can taste it in a smoothy. As I wasn’t a fan, I decided to shot it. It does not dissolve well in water. I tried using boiling water to really dissolve it and adding cold water to cool down but there is always lumps at the bottom of my cup.

Cannot comment on the quality of the collegen but I think there are lots of prodcts out ther that are easier to consume. I would only consume it in a berry smoothy where you expect to still taste it.

I’ve never really tried collagen before, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I just mixed the correct amount of powder with hot water, stirred, and added liquid water enhancer to it, and I was able to drink it fine once it cooled, or with ice.

I didn’t think it tasted amazing, but it wasn’t off putting at all. It was perfect in hot chocolate, but I don’t usually have that every day but if you were a tea/coffee drinker, it’d probably be great for you.

I have waist length hair, which has always been very thick and healthy, so I didn’t really notice much of a change there. Maybe a little less breakage than normal. But my nails! Oh my goodness. They had been breaking like crazy before I started taking this collagen, and they’re SO strong and healthy now! As a former nail biter, I’m so happy! They look great; and I have to cut them once a week, and they’re strong.

Just based on that alone, I’ll keep up with this collagen. If it did that much good for my nails, I’d imagine it had to do something for my hair, beside stronger, but I’m very pleased with this collagen.

I am so glad to have finally found this plant collagen mix. For months, I’ve been looking for a supplement containing BOTH aloe & hyaluronic acid (although this doesn’t technically contain hyaluronic acid, it contains ingredients which aid in its production); &, a supplement to help maintain, support, & boost my body’s natural collagen production.

It’s been a surprisingly difficult! Most aloe supplements only contain aloe; & most supplements with hyaluronic acid, are mixed with glucosamine &/or chondroitin, & the low amount hyaluronic acid in them seems like an after thought.

Not only is the only “collagen boosting” supplement I’ve found that HAS those 2 ingredients, but it also DOESN’T HAVE collagen from another animal in it. Which is hard to find & important to me because: 1- though I’m not vegan (a source of personal guilt!), I am vegetarian, & I don’t see a difference between eating the “meat” of an animal, versus eating any other part of an animal (for example, their ground up cartilage).

&, 2- it’s simply not known whether a human body can/will absorb collagen from another animal. It’s better to make our own. Which is why I’m glad to have found Super’s Plant Collagen: it actually provides the ingredients your body needs to manufacture its OWN collagen (not just ingest someone else’s & have it likely pass right through you!) 1 small down side: though it has more to do with me, personally, than the product. The cost. It’s not an outrageous price for what you’re getting, & if you have the money, I highly recommend it! I, unfortunately, do not (have the money.

Or an income, let alone a disposable income). So, for me, this is a treat- just like buying healthy food. It’s frustrating when taking care of your health has to be a “treat”, but hopefully it won’t always be this way! & when that happens, you better believe I’m getting a subscription!.

I’ve been using the product for 3 months, and the acne and dryness is gone. The acne and dryness popped up suddenly around October of last year. My gyno told me to go to a dermatologist but I felt it was hormonal as endometriosis was also getting bad.
