Bottom line, it is NOT a brownie. Try to imagine what individually wrapped Fig Newton’s would look like. And that is what this product is. The picture makes you think your going to enjoy this nice looking healthy brownies.

I good idea for a nice after meal snack. However, when you actually see them your jaw will drop, and not in a good way. If your a conservative eater, you can eat one of these in two bites. Otherwise, you can very easily eat one in a single bite and a little chewing later its gone.

So you get just a taste of chocolate, nothing more. I would actually recommend Quest brand bars, they are around 6 grams of sugar, and around 21 grams of protein. And they bars are big enough to make you feel like you had a nice snack after your done eating it.

I commend Soylent for trying, but these fell a bit short. There was a major inconsistency between packages of texture and moistness. Hard to get down not due to taste but primarily due to texture and dryness.

Not too bad if you have a Soylent on hand to wash it down. Lastly this product caused digestive problems for me, in the form of lethal gas. This may not affect everyone the same but for me it’s a no.

I wish this had more protein but it is perfect for a treat. It keeps me on check and its only 100 calories. Would definitely buy it again. The flavor is good and not overwhellming. The consistency is fantastic.

Overall it’s a solid option if you’re trying to have a healthy treat.

Filling and tasty meal. The noodles rehydrated nicely. They were not too dry or too soft. The sauce reconstituted well, also, and was not watery. The Italian style seasoning is nicely done, and the cheese adds noticeably to the flavor.

The package retained the heat well, and was easy to reseal for the rehydration process. The noodles, not surprisingly, are actually short, several millimeter wide pieces of pasta rather than true lasagne noodles.

Eating at a campsite with a spoon out of the package, the smaller bites would be appreciated. I rely on a package such as this to be my full meal, so I ate both servings in one meal. This provides 620 calories and an impressive 28 grams of protein.

The unit could satisfy two people with sides. I keep some dehydrated meals at home in case of prolonged power outages and such. This has a nice 10 year “best buy” date.

I’ve been wanting a no sugar added cereal for months so when I saw this in Target I was thrilled! It’s sooo good, better than I expected. I would never know just by taste that this is a healthier cereal.

I hope this stays available at Target forever and that this inspires other companies to make no sugar added cereals!.

This is a tasty cereal if you like vanilla because it’s a strong flavor. I love that it’s organic and uses dates for sweetness, especially since I’m pregnant and trying to eat a lot of dates but minimize non-fruit sugars.

Most no sugar added cereals are very bland, but I actually really enjoy the taste of this one without it being heavily artificially sweetened! (:

I have been taking your vanilla and chocolate powder protein for couple of years now. I do enjoy them as part of my breakfast, I’m hot days I use ice and in cold days I use hot water to make a delicious thick drink.

I like to combine a scoop of each flavor, I feel that for me the chocolate alone is too strong. I gave my mother who is 88 years old, the vanilla protein to supplement her protein intake and she has been loving it for over two years now.

I am saddened that I have not received my vanilla cans in the last two months. Is there a production problem? I do however go the supermarket in town and pick it there. I would rather to receive it at home though.

I am so happy the chocolate protein powder came back in stock!! Today I ordered two cans for me and my husband. During the work week/weekends we blend up fresh smoothies w/ this added along w/ almond/coconut milk.

It has such a velvety texture and enjoy the chocolate taste. I have to say I really am pleased with the taste and the ingredients. My husband and I have a vegetarian diet (we still consume eggs; no meat/no dairy/no seafood) + eat/cook lots of vegan dishes also.

I am happy this is also gluten free and not full of fake/artificial flavors/fake sugar. My husband has IBS so we eat as clean as possible. This is my favorite powder powder I’ve ever had. Will continue to buy directly from your website.

Since starting breastfeeding, I’ve decreased the amount of dairy in my diet to help with my baby’s reflux. It’s so hard enough to find a vegan protein powder that doesn’t have a chalky consistency, and even harder to find one without any stevia (which I don’t like the taste of).

This protein powder is delicious, smooth, and sweet without being overwhelming. Before my morning walk, I will do either the powder and oatmilk in a shaker bottle or throw it in a blender with banana and nut butter.

Bought the Chips Ahoy flavor and this by far is one of the best flavored proteins I’ve had. I’m a young guy (19) and I’ve mainly had muscle milk, core life elites, and other random protein shakes. Yes there is random bits of chips ahoy in the actual powder so you can’t separate it (but why would you want to do that when the reason you bought the flavor was for the chips ahoy?) And it does provide for weird moments of drinking it and sometimes swallowing bits without chewing on them.

Now the bits aren’t like you are gonna choke on it and die, they are just like crumbs so you can actually feel when they hit the back of your throat and go down so be careful when drinking this if you have a bad gag reflex.

The bits also cause moments where you finish your shake, but then you look into your shaker or cup and see some chocolate chips that sunk to the bottom. See it however you want but I took it as a tiny treat for after my shake.

Overall kinda taste like milk after you dunk chips ahoy into it, not exactly that taste, but still pretty solid overall. The times I’ve taken the shake it isn’t very chalky like muscle milk can be but that might also just be how you like your shakes consistency.

First off I’m new to whey protein powders so there was a little adjustment period getting my body used to whey. (A little queasiness and frequent and healthy bowel movements) keep that in mind if you’re new like me.

As for this particular brand, packaging is great the scoop is right at the top beneath the lid. Great mix-ability. Taste is average, it definitely took me a while to find the right thing to mix it with (I tried water, oat milk and regular whole milk).

The back label recommends mixing with 5-6 oz of the beverage of your choice but I found that way too strong. You definitely may need to dilute it with more liquid. I’m not sure why the company recommends so few ounces.

Lastly the floating Oreo pieces are my biggest complaint. They are all floating around, different shapes and sizes and I just can’t get past drinking something with chunks of food in it. Try straining it to separate the chunks.

Overall it’s worth a try but for the price I’ll consider a different flavor next time, sure it’s an Oreo flavor, but keep your expectations reasonable. This will not taste like an Oreo McFlurry. Admittedly I could maybe get better finding the perfect blend or adding it to smoothies etc.

I’ve went through containers of both Oreo and nutter butter and they were the worst protiens I’ve ever had. The hype of the brand initially got me I saw stuff of people saying it tasted so good and all the branding seemed legit.

When i say these protiens are disgusting I mean it. I used to have to plug my nose and chug it and would gag after. They are so thick even with water. The orea and nutter butter don’t taste like Oreo or nutter butter and they smell disgusting and they taste like vomit.

I would save your money. Once I tried gold standard and iso100 it seemed like a miracle that not all protien was like that. I recommend iso100 fruity pebbles if you want something like that tastes exactly like it.

I might just be over reacting but even though thinking about drinking the nutter butter one again makes me want to throw up.

Tried these nuggets through a special promotion with Simulate, and was pleasantly surprised! I’m not a vegan, but I’m squeamish about weird chicken bits in nuggets. Went with the spicy variety and wasn’t disappointed.

For my first foray into meatless nuggets, I thought they were tasty! Cooked them in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Definitely listen to reviewers who recommend cooking in an air fryer – the nuggets came out nice and crispy.

The “meat” texture is similar to a fast food nugget, maybe closest to McDonald’s. The flavor seemed to come from the spicy breading rather than the nugget itself. My husband thought they were a little too spicy, but it wasn’t anything some ranch dipping sauce couldn’t fix.

Ok so these are the first “chicken” nuggets that I’ve been able to actually call chicken in the many years since becoming vegan. These are absolutely DELICIOUS. I’m not sure if the negative reviews are from the first version of these Nuggs, all I know is that they have the best texture and flavor out of the zillions of options out there.

I put them in my air fryer for ten minutes and they’re crispy (much like McD’s back in the old days when they were actually good lol) and the inside is piping hot and yummy!! Inside texture is not stringy like other non meat options, it has a good mouth feel to it.

These are by no means a “health food”, they are an excellent, indulgent vegan junk food. Added bonus: my ultra picky 5 year old who doesn’t like meat will actually eat these nuggs! I have used both the oven and air fryer to cook these and the air fryer definitely gives them a superior taste over the oven.

I’m surprised by all the low rated reviews! I actually enjoyed these. Are they the same as real chicken nuggets? No. But I feel like they’re close enough. I’m not a vegan/vegetarian but I’m always looking at ways to reduce my meat intake.

And I feel like these hit the spot! They outside can get SUPER crunchy which I love! The crunch is similar to McDonald’s. They’re not the most flavorful as others were mentioning, but I don’t get a weird aftertaste like I do with most fake meats so that’s awesome! I’ll definitely buy these again and try their spicy version, too! Definitely grab a bottle of sauce to dunk them in.

I was lucky that our coop had single serving packets so I could try before committing to a big tub. I recently switched to a plant-based diet and am concerned about my protein levels. 28g per serving is the most I’ve seen and weight loss is an added bonus.

Tried vanilla first with almond milk – did not blend well and was left with a lumpy chalky disaster. “No sugar” but stevia tastes just like the chemical no sugar sweeteners. I had higher hopes for blending w/ almond milk and frozen bananas for my regular smoothie (normally banana, milk, cocoa and PB2 powder) but still unpalatable.

The only way I know it’s chocolate is because if the pale brown color. Otherwise, the vanilla and chocolate are nearly identical with unnatural, sweet chalky taste.

Even with all the great nutrients and benefits that this protein supplement can provide, I’m sorry but I have to give this product a one star review. I was going to buy some of this protein powder at costco, but luckily enough they had samples that I could “try before I buy”.

This protein powder is supposed to taste great, even when mixed with just water (since it is a vegan protein powder), which is exactly what I tried. Oh my gosh, does this stuff taste awful!!! It was simply so gross, I couldn’t get it out of my mouth fast enough.

It tasted bad, it didn’t taste like vanilla, and it has a starchy, plant-like aftertaste to it. No matter what the benefits of this powder, there is no way that I would ever be able to get past the taste.

Sorry, but I won’t be buying this protein powder after all.

The Macro Meal Ultimate Superfood provides me with energy and just an all around awakened feeling. I suffer from an under-active thyroid and this meal brought back energy, weight loss and put a glow back into my face.

Been using this brand/flavor for almost 2 years now. Taste is no where near as bad as some other brands, I never mix this with anything other than water and I have never had a problem. It provides energy for workouts and helps a lot with general nutrition.

I picked some of this up yesteday and made some enchiladas. My husband absolutely loved them – he couldn’t even tell that it was vegan. He thought it was regular chorizo! And best of all – this product is made with ingredients I actually felt good about eating.

No soy, no other fillers or additives. Win win! I’ll definitely be making this a regular in our household – tacos next time!.

Bought this because it is plant based and no soy but will buy again and again for the taste. Excellent seasoning that made the breakfast tacos and black bean soup so delicious. Both dishes even better than with the chorizo I used to use.

This stuff is amazing.

I I will admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. Since I have a tried many other different vegan products and it just leaves that weird aftertaste in your mouth. But I found this vegan chorizo to be very delicious great spices no weird aftertaste and just a really good flavor I will definitely buy this again.

If you don’t like the taste of this and that’s why you leave a negative review – you’re missing the entire point of this product. HEALTH. Broccoli doesn’t taste great to me either, but it’s HEALTHY. For me personally, I take one scoop as a shot in room temperature water after shaking it up in an 8 ounce mason jar with a whisk ball inside of it and a leakproof cap.

This has been an affordable life saver for me most importantly on nights when I just don’t have time to eat and need to get to sleep asap. This has probably been what’s kept me in good health since I skip dinner a lot but still get tons of nutrients from this.

I like that it contains iron a lot. Most supplements leave iron out which in my case iron is extremely important. Taste isn’t even a thought for me. It’s about what’s in it and that it’s healthy and affordable.

If it’s chalky? Mix it better. It you don’t like the taste? Figure out a recipe that you like and stop complaining. If you’re on the fence about buying this? Do it if you are focused more on affordability and health rather than simply taste for a product that deserves proper recognition for how economical and filled with nutrients it is.

Also non-dairy, non-soy, plant based, climate pledge friendly – I haven’t found anything at this price point that comes close to this. I wrote such a long review because I have been using this for years and ordered it right now, went to the reviews, and some of them are just ignorantly sad.

Health is worth a slightly bitter taste (depending on how you mix it) KEEP THIS PRODUCT IN STOCK TARGET! IT ROCKS!.

I think this tastes great. I mix with cold Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, and enjoy it very much. I mix in a smoothie container by shaking with one of those smoothie spring things. If I had any criticisms it would be that they should up the Magnesium content since that helps curb low blood sugar hunger cravings.

And up the dietary fiber content a bit. It’s the only place I think Kechava has you beat. Kechava might have more vitamins and minerals per serving, but then look at the serving sizes! Kechava uses 2 scoops/60g for a serving size while GoL uses 1 scoop/34.

5g. Kechava ADDS 5g sugars per serving. GoL has ZERO added and a negligible amount naturally occurring. Kechava has 24g of Carbohydrates. Not bad, but GoL is much more Diabetic friendly with 12g, HALF the amount.

I also think GoL has Kechava beat hands down with the probiotics and enzymes ingredients. Anyhow, this product is a little high-priced but you get a lot for the money packed into every scoop. Hope this helps you.

Are you serious that this is vegan? Like seriously? I just bought these yesterday at Pete’s. I bought chipotle flavor and sweet bbq flavor and I literally had to go online to make sure this wasn’t just regular beef jerky 😂😂.

But I’m happy and very satisfied to know that this is 100% vegan. It tastes so good. Will definitely be a staple in my vegan snack collection.

First off, these came in less than a week which is always nice. I’m always nervous to try plant based protein. This is def my fav I’ve tried. It still has that gritty taste, but I’ve noticed of you prepare it in advance, it thickens up and some of that grit goes away.

I’ve tried the chocolate and berry. Both are good. I just ordered the mocha. Ok. So TMI, but since having my gallbladder out 3. 5 years ago, I’ve struggled with being regular. I’ve gotten so I can’t go without stimulants.

This may be premature, but since stating this just one week ago, I have t not had to take any stimulants and I’ve been going every day. Also, I was having severe bloating and gas (like my abdomen was 4x the size in distention.

It was horrible and painful), that is gone. I feel loads better and having more energy already. Gut health is so important to feeling good. No more whey protein for me. I’ll stick with this stuff it’s clean and good for you.

I was eager to try this protein powder since it was recommended by Thomas DeLauer. I work out 4-5 times a week cycling and weight training and look to plant-based protein powders for added dietary protein (I have digestive issues with whey-based powders).

On the plus side, the Warrior Blend Organic chocolate powder is quite affordable, compared to others. Sadly, I found the taste and texture to be less than expected. I mixed one scoop with 5 oz of almond milk, 6 oz of water and some ice.

The blend was thin and the flavor wasn’t very chocolate-like. Adding a half banana did help. My standard is Vega All In One powder and the Sunwarrior product just didn’t compare. Sadly, my search for affordable goodness continues.

I decided that I wanted some protein powder and came across Orgain. It instantly piqued my interest since it wasn’t too expensive, and I’ve never tried a plant-based protein powder before. Some reviewers noted that they didn’t have a scoop included and that their container was only about 1/2 filled.

I bought the Vanilla Bean flavor. Fortunately, mine came with a scoop and was about 2/3 filled. However, I still expected something like this to be closer to full. I didn’t carefully read the mixing instructions that recommended water or almond milk.

I weighed out the recommended 46 g of powder and mixed it with 400 mL of 1% milk. The 400 mL is a little bit more than the recommended 12 oz, but I did this because my shaker bottle didn’t have a clear marking for 12 oz.

The flavor is fine. I read a few reviewers mentioning that it was too sweet for their liking, but I didn’t have any problems with the base flavor. However the texture is the main thing I didn’t like.

Even after some extended and vigorous shaking and verifying that all the powder had completely dissolved, it still had a little bit of an off-putting “muddy” texture. I had to take small and spaced out swigs to power through it.

Overall, it’s not that bad and can see myself getting this again. But I’ll probably try a different flavor and try mixing with almond milk per instructions to see if that makes any difference.

I am a vegan and purchase the Orgain chocolate product regularly. I was really excited to see a “hot chocolate“ product. The flavor is great, perfect for the Christmas season. It’s got the protein I want.

The problem is that it doesn’t work as hot cocoa. I noticed right away that the package gives no instructions for heating it. I contacted the company and they gave me directions, but at best this produces a warm drink.

Unfortunately, I concluded that if it’s heated the products thickens. Since I was really expecting a mix for HOT chocolate (as its title indicates) this was a real disappointment to me. On the other hand, I repeat that it’s a delicious cold drink.

I think they should take the word “hot“ out of their name for this product. I recommend this product only for those who do not care that it’s not really hot chocolate.

I’m trying out more vegan and vegetarian recipes lately for my health (high cholesterol) and decided to try this orange chicken. I’ve had a couple different kinds of veggies burgers and sausage, even hot dogs, in the past so I’ve always been open to the idea of meat replacements, but definitely still a meat lover.

Anyway! This orange chicken was delicious! I made it with rice and frozen stir fry veggies. My ONLY complaint is I wish there was more sauce, but you can buy some in a bottle if you really need it. There was enough to fully coat the chik’n pieces, and most of my veggies, but didn’t even touch the rice.

Also, if I hadn’t known these were vegan, I don’t think I would’ve been able to tell! Texture and taste were perfect to me. Will definitely keep this in the rotation. And 1 bag is definitely enough for 2-3 people, especially after you add rice and stuff.

I bought these for around 3. 50, and they looked delicious, so my expectations were already quite high, but these definitely surpassed my expectations! Cooking them just right is a must, when they’re golden and the sauce is cooked down to be like a glaze, they are simply perfect.

The only slight problem would be that they most definitely did not cook in 6-8 minutes by pan, so I wouldn’t call these quick. I am a perfectionist, so I probably went a bit overkill with my cautiousness, but they still take quite a bit.

It was fun cooking them, so I honestly have no complaints. After I ate them, I didn’t feel sick or heavy, like I just had junk food. They feel hearty, and provide lots of good energy! My young sister who is very picky even liked them.

The texture is chewy, and a lot like all the good parts about chicken, which I have not had in years. I 100% will buy these again. Just thinking about them makes me hungry, honestly.

I would like to preface this by saying-It was not my choice to go vegan, I did it for health reasons. I still crave meat. Now that we have that over with, let’s start with the actual review. If you eat the “nugget” plain, without the sauce and really focus on the fact that it’s not real chicken, you could probably taste the difference.

If you eat the nuggets with the sauce, it tastes VERY similar to real meat. I had to check the bag and make sure it was vegan. It tasted very good in my personal opinion. It didn’t taste nasty(like a lot of freezer food tends to).

These really help curb my appetite for meat, this brand has the most realistic vegan “meat”! I would 100% recommend buying this. It tastes GREAT and is MEATLESS!! When this brand says it’s products are for meat and veggie lovers alike, they are absolutely NOT lying!.
