20 Best Vegetable Cambinet Price (2022 Updated)

The unit will not stay affixed to my clean countertop. Worked fine with zucchini because it’s a soft vegetable. However, it took me over 15 minutes to spiralize one sweet potato because I had to steady the unit while putting pressure on the potato to go thru the blade.

Now my shoulder hurts.

I have just tried my spiralizer for the first time with the easiest to use vegetable, zucchini squash. I first tried the fine cutting blade because I wanted to have a spaghetti like product. I found I didn’t have the strength to turn the handle so I went to the next size and was pleased with the results.

Finding a place to set the suction cups firmly was a problem. My counters are tiled and the suction cups did not want to stick to several different cutting boards. I found the glass top range to be ideal with the overhead light and great suction.

The warnings of sharp blade are not to be dismissed. As careful as I thought I was, I managed to cut one of my fingers. I can’t wait to try other veggies.

The same item is $14. 99 at bed bath. It was over $25 at walmart. And ended up being useless. I had to return it and lost $5 for the shipping fee. Not a good deal on this one.

I’ve always been interested in trying a spiralizer but felt hesitant given what seemed like its limited use. But after several meals during which my kiddos (4 and 6) gleefully ate raw zucchini, I’m happy to make room for one in my kitchen.

As with all OXO products, this spiralizer is well designed. The components nest together when stored, so it takes up minimal space. All parts (excluding the box that holds the blades) can go in the dishwasher, saving on sponges and fingertips.

Using the spiralizer is quick and easy. I didn’t need to YouTube examples or do more than scan the tiny instruction booklet. I especially appreciate that OXO includes a few realistic recipes from chefs and cookbooks that I already know.

I modified one to make a vermicelli bowl with rice noodles, fresh veggie noodles, and homemade Vietnamese dressing in about 15 minutes. I do wish the spiralizer design somehow addressed the juice extracted when cutting cucumbers or other especially juicy fruits and vegetables.

Likewise, it would be helpful to have room to slide a plate underneath to capture the noodles as they’re made. (Increasing the base by an inch or so would have made this possible. ) Still, this is a great tool for creating beautiful salads or making the most of a bounty of fruits and vegetables with very little effort.

I’ve tried out a few different countertop spiralizers, but this one is my favorite. As with all OXO products that I’ve used, the build quality is great, and I know that this is a product that will last me a long time.

Now, most countertop spiralizers are more or less the same, but there are some unique features in the OXO model that make it stand out. First, the suction cup on the bottom is fantastic. The other spiralizers that I’ve tried tend to have four small suction cups at each corner, and they never grip my counter.

But the one giant suction cup on this model holds on very tightly to my counter. I don’t have to worry about the spiralizer going anywhere while I’m using it! This alone makes this the spiralizer that I want to use over and over again.

The other thing that makes this stand out to me is the storage container for the blades. I love that it holds them neatly and then attaches to the base unit. It makes storing the unit much simpler and easier than other spiralizers that I’ve used.

If you’re in the market for a spiralizer, this is definitely the one to get.

Pros: Easy to use, effective, inexpensive, and easy to clean Cons: Easy to break My first one of these lasted over 2 years of daily usage before the plastic bowl cracked after being dropped. It doesn’t take much to crack these, so you need to have some care.

I bought a new one to replace it, but when it arrived, the lid was defective and warped to the point where it wouldn’t spin. I contacted Cuisinart customer service and they were very easy to work with and offered to replace the entire salad spinner.

The replacement model actually ended up being a different model (the one currently sold by Bed, Bath, and Beyond) which looked nicer and felt a bit sturdier, but after using it I think I have a slight preference for the original shown here.

Simplicity is a virtue, and it doesn’t get much simpler than this salad spinner. the lit is just a thin plastic disc with grooves to catch the bowl and spin it. That disc is attached to the wheel by a single plastic nut, and it’s a simple wheel and axle to spin it.

This is great. it’s trivial to take apart and clean, all surfaces are plastic, and you can easily turn the wheel in either direction with a mechanism that feels so basic it can never break. By contrast, the bed bath and beyond version has visible metal screws, only spins in one direction with a more complicated wheel mechanism that doesn’t let you change directions or even stop the spinning, and it instead requires the use of an additional button to brake the spin.

It works great now and feels more solid, but I can also see it rusting and/or breaking down sooner. All in all, I like both model spinners as well as Cuisinart’s customer service and would gladly purchase this again.

I went online to order a salad spinner that had a bottom that you pushed to spin, therefore not having to crank. While it showed that this item could be delivered, when I go to the checkout process, it would say you had to “pick up”, which did not work for me.

REALLY frustrated, I called customer service (this was the middle of the night, mind you!) and got a very polite young man. He actually went online and found d a spinner that looked almost identical to the one I had wanted, but you had to crank this one.

Well, I said I would TRY it, and hung up the phone, assured that this would end up being a return. I received my item just a few days later and I LOVE IT!! It stays stable on the counter due to the rubber on the bottom, it is nice, sturdy, safe plastic, and the bowl is quite large.

Not only was the man I talked to pleasant (with an old, unhappy woman in the middle of the night!), but he picked out a great replacement item for me. We even made a bit of humor about my choice of times to shop! The whole experience and spinner was above and beyond what I expected.

I bought this spinner to replace a larger one which no longer worked after I dropped the top. I had it for years. When I read the reviews on this one I wasn’t sure about it but thought I’d give it a try.

It works very well. People who complained said one always had to spin it twice to get all the water out. Of course. That’s what I always did with my old one and what I do with this one. It works perfectly and you can’t beat the price.

I recommend it. One only has to hold it when spinning because it is lightweight and can move around.

There are cheaper sealers out there, but they have mixed reviews. The cheaper sealers on Amazon may have 5 star reviews but if you look closely it appears that the companies give some kind of perk for leaving a 5 star review.

This sealer is middle of the road pricing but I think it’s worth paying a little more to get this sealer. It got a great seal every time on chicken breasts, ground beef, short ribs, and pork chops. This has been perfect during the pandemic where sometimes you don’t always get the best selections.

It says it will keep meat fresh for up to two years but I would hope I would never have a piece of meat in the freezer that long! I recommend for really juicy meats like chicken to pat them down with a paper towel before sealing – the juice will ruin the seal and make a mess.

I also recommend buying a roll of bags with this sealer as it only comes with 10 and they go fast!.

My 15 year old vacuum sealer finally gave up and I needed one in a pinch. This one had very good marks for the price so I decided to go with it. It works well. I like that you press it down and it locks so you don’t have to hold the cover down like on my own one.

The only bad is that it doesn’t have a great duty cycle. I was packaging my processed deer and I had to pause several times and let the unit relax a bit. If you are just using it every now and then I’d say go for it.

If you need to use it a LOT over the course of a short period of time for a lot of back to back sealing then this machine will not keep up with that kind of use but for the average user I think it works just fine.

Does the trick for all my needs. It does a pretty good job of getting most if not all the air out most of the time. you can easily hit the manual suction button to give it some extra help before you seal it.

My only reasons for not giving this 5 stars are: 1. When it sucks up any juices from the bag (there’s always a little juice. ) it ends up going into the little suction area, which is annoying to clean because it’s awkward and narrow 2.

The distance from the suction area to the seal area is a little bit long so you waste a little bit of bag length each time. Overall I use this thing all the time and love it. I also like using it as a sealer only for things like potato chips that come in plastic bags.

Delivery as promised and outstanding packaging ensured all components were in excellent condition. As delivery was “lift gate” only, however, unpacking the wooden pallet and moving units to a back patio from the street for assembly was challenging.

In addition, it is recommended to emphasize that the locking nuts on the wheels must be relaxed in order for the levelling feet to be released/unscrewed. This “minor” operation should be performed before assembly.

Overall, a high-end system with excellent features and quality.

The grill took forever to get here, but was definitely worth it! I wanted a built in look, but didn’t want to spend the price. After researching, this was the cheapest modern looking grill unit with a fridge.

So I bought it and prayed that it was nice. I think it was well worth the money (compared to a built in). It functions well and looks very nice. Definitely recommend it! I got a blackstainless steel island to go in front of this with stools and wow does it look awesome!.

I get this for my husband. I love how it smells. The Smell lasts all day. It’s a bold cologne that isn’t so strong and over powering. We’re on the second bottle now. My husband wears it all the time, the smell fits all occasions.

The design is modern, sleek and simple.

One side was damaged and had to be glued. We did so, as shipping back and waiting for a replacement was not an option. On to assembly. You are on your own, the instructions make no sense and the pictures only add to the confusion.

The pre drilled holes do not line up. Why are there brackets at the top and bottom?.

First and foremost – cleaning sucks 🙂 However, you learn the tricks to doing so pretty quickly. It is still very much worth the price. I prefer petite diced as this allows more flavor in stews, soups or casseroles – so I purchased the 1/4 inch dice blade with mine.

This works AWESOME. I don’t care how good you are with a knife, I can dice up veggies, potatoes, mushrooms even walnuts faster than you could ever dream. I’ve used it on celery, mushrooms, walnuts, zucchini, cucumber, squash, bell peppers, onions,, potatoes, and chicken so far.

I absolutely love it. Worth every penny. !!! Replacement parts are not cheap – so be sure to take care and clean properly after each use. It is extremely well made and heavy duty so I don’t expect to need replacement parts anytime soon though.

Nice, heavy duty commercial chopper. It takes more force to chop vegetables than we expected. But I guess that’s why you can lift the plunger so high and give it a good smack. My wife loves it. A real time saver.

This is a nifty tool for dicing vegetables. We bought one for each of our deli departments, and our employees absolutely love them. Great time saver over simply using a knife.

Very disappointed that the sides of this piece were not wood but something better than cardboard! Also the front door joins are roughly cut. The shelves had imperfections as well. My piece in addition had a sliver of the wood ready to chip off.

It could have been a very beautiful piece even if it cost a little more!.

The front and rear of the cabinet are fairly sturdy, but the side walls are made of 1/8 inch flexible material, which you side into grooves. The bottom shelf is made of the same material, and installed the same way.

I would be wary of putting anything that’s not very light on it. The other 2 shelves are OK. I don’t understand why they didn’t include a third sturdy shelf. (I might move one of the 2 shelves to the bottom.

) I paid close to $100 for the cabinet. Based on the above, I think it’s only worth half of what I paid. Additionally, when I opened the box, the items had a smell of paint. Most of the smell is gone, now.

On the plus side, it was easy yo put together.

Item arrived on time and in excellent condition. I needed a cabinet to store food items and small appliances, i. e. Immersion blender, hand mixer, regular size blender fits on bottom shelf. It fits perfectly in the space I needed it to go.

I love the way it looks-old country kitchen style. I’m not good with building things so I had to look at instructions several times but had no problem putting it together once I got started. It’s a great item! I would purchase more of your items if I needed anything else.

The kitchen trolley went together really easy if you read the instructions and take your time putting it together. The negative is that it is a bit wobbly the kit has wooden dowels in it and a couple of beads of wood glue will greatly tighten it up and makes it more sturdy other than that it does a good job dave.

Missing screws, had to wait 2 weeks for them, numerous pieces scratched which they gave me a small refund for, then one side was drilled wrong and I wanted to return it. They gave be a bigger refund, so I had to find someone who could redrill holes in the proper place and put cams in.

Ok, got that, then get to drawer and two holes were not drilled at all for the side, so had to go back to this other person and have him drill holes for me. I should have returned it right from the start but it is a pretty cabinet and Costway did refund some of my money.

Pieces have gaps and everything is a bit crooked but after 2 months, its finally together.

Was little difficult to put together for one person. Hard to hold and put screws in after the wheels were attached (one of the first instructions). The holes for the towel bar were not correct I had to glue it.

The drawer will nit fit in the track. It is a good quality item once get past the assembly issues.

Wow! Looks way better in person! Needed a kitchen counter/microwave holder/ plate holder/ chips holder all in one and this was perfect for my little apt. Yes there is another one identical to this on Walmart for $20 cheaper, but doesn’t match the quality and design of this one.

My first Costway product and glad I chose this. Everything to the great packaging , enough Styrofoam to support the wood pieces, and down to the instructions. Takes about 2. 5 -3. 5 hours to set this up.

Depending on how many breaks you take. There are long and wide styrofoam that comes with the package that you can use to build your table without scratching it, and use them for your knees cause you’ll be on the ground for a while.

After it’s all set up, Looks so nice and perfect! I plan to add a clear gloss on top of the table to protect it from scratches and stains. The set amount of screws were just perfect and easily was able to screw each one in without stripping without over tightening.

This is a must have for any home or apt to help store groceries or items and use the top table as a display or just another counter in the kitchen.

This item comes in quite a few pieces. It took me much longer than I had hoped, to put it together. Then when I was getting towards the end of assembling it, I realized that the manufacturers didn’t put the holes for the screws in the correct places on one of the main pieces.

As a result, we had to drill new holes in the piece. The magnet is at the bottom on the door instead of the top, so the top sticks out slightly. I also noticed a scratch on the top. I’m not sure if it came with the scratch or if that happened in the process of putting it together, but either way it’s not very durable and it shows fingerprints terribly.

For the price, it is functional, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

An AWESOME piece of furniture! Exactly as described. The dropleaf part was damaged (from manufacture, not from shipping). The folks at Catskill Craftsmen were excellent in sending out a replacement very quickly.

The assembly wasn’t as bad as described in the reviews though it did take some time and needed a good amount of space. Yes it does take two people at times when standing the unit up for particular assembly points but not a problem.

It will work very well in a fairly small kitchen area and the wheels do help roll easily but also takes a bit to get the unit to stay put against a wall with easy rolling wheels even with the locks on.

Once again not a major problem. Love the unit! Would definitely highly recommend the product!.

Hayneedle had great pricing and fast shipping. We love the island. There are some things that made me take a star off. 1) the spice rack is just barely too small on the top side to fit the average spice container.

It only works for the very short spices. We have mostly large spice containers so most of the top is empty and have to still store other spices in the kitchen cabinet. 2) One of the inside shelves had a bunch of wood filler then sanded down.

It’s not visible as I put it on the bottom turned down but something to note. 3) the shelves are cut about 1/8″ smaller than they need to be. This causes a lot of movement in the island as you are taking appliances in and out.

4) many of the pilot holes are just slightly smaller than I’d like. The hardwood is very hard and requires a lot of force to install screws. I do not think my wife could have done it. As much as it sounds like I am harping on it we love it and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Seems to be heavy, looks nice. There are some panels made of particle board, not solid, but they are unseen. All holes were predrilled accurately. Drawer doesnt function real well, its a little tight.

Took about right at two hours to assemble, Im probably quicker than the average person at assembly. Im pretty happy with it. The screws for the drawer handles had too large of head, and wouldnt fit in the counter sunk hole.

But I had some other screws in the garage that worked. That was the only problem with components.

I used this table two weeks ago during a cookout. This table comes with a carrying canvas bag, and the stitching on the bag near the zipper started to get undone. I was able to stitch it up by hand using kevlar thread that I had (I’m sure glad I got kevlar thread! And I’m so glad I learned to tie knots, and I’m sure glad I had a sewing kit!) It took my about 2 hours of work, but I did a great job of stitching it up.

😀 The table is fairly easy to put together (I had to logon onto Vevor to see the photo of the table set. By seeing the photos on Vevor, I was able to put the table together. The carrying case had instructions on how to put the table together, but the instructions were like stick drawings and some words sprinkled here and there.

My recommendation is to go to Vevor and copy the photos and staple them to the instructions–that’s what I ended up doing. By looking at the photos, you’d be able to put the table set together. Also, don’t pound the table tops to the legs! I tried pounding those plastic connectors to the legs, and I was getting nowhere fast.

I, finally, pushed the connectors to the legs, and the connectors connected. Speaking of plastic connectors, in the Vevor photos, those carabiners in the Vevor photos look like they’re metal. When I got my table set, the carabiners were plastic.

I’m thinking of going on ebay and getting metal carabiners to replace the plastic ones, once they start to crack apart from aging.

Just received, Im looking forward to camping this summer! This will save me some time, keep everything in one place. Ive put it together and tore down very easily done. Seems sturdy, has places to keep in one place.

Tall enough , not so much stress on back. Nice zippers, good tent material, seems things will stay dry. Puts away easy into its own handy bag! Good buy for any camper!.

Mine just arrived. Good shape and blemish free. I have to say for the most part it is a well built set. Heavy canvas and metals. Took a bit to put together the first time because the instructions are poor.

The one thing I do not like is the shelves inside the canvas are fiberboard. They will not last once they get exposed to damp air. But we’ll see. Looking forward to using it.

My partner and I worked together to put this garden bed together. It is not a 20 minute assembly, especially when the wing nuts do not fit the screws. This happened 4 times. We were very frustrated. Fortunately we had 4 screws and nuts in our tool box.

I had to chat with customer service about the “stakes” which dangled loosely in the picture until we figured out on our own that we were to place the box on the dirt with the corner holes down over the dirt and press the stakes into the dirt for support.

Nowhere is this explained and tho it now seems like a “duh” thing, it wasn’t at all for us.

It is a nice light weight planter. The side panels are not heavy duty made. The instructions could be engineered better like: 1. Should install 3 screws when connect 2 panels together, leave out the 2 screw from a top, then install the 4th screw with the spacer.

2. Install rubber strips on one edge of each side before assembling all corners, that way a corner bracket will clam down the rubber ends to secure them from coming off easily. 3. I prefer the stakes are bit longer like 8″ or so, they are only 4-5″.

Over all, it looks nice for a light weight one. Not sure how long it will hold up.

I bought 4 of these above ground planters last year but since I’m 120 years old, I built platforms for them using hardware cloth reinforced by 2x4s which I attached to cedar 4x4s which will take awhile to rot.

They are at waist height which makes gardening so much easier than if they sat on the ground. The initial purchase of 4 survived 2 major ice storms (one of which produced baseball sized hail) and lots of strong winds since I live in Oklahoma.

They work great and still look great so this spring I bought 2 more outdoor metal raised garden beds. I expect them all 6 of them to last many, many years. Great product and a real back saver if you elevate them!.

This is a simple item in every way. It doesn’t take up too much room. Quick rinse to clean. It is in two pieces which sneck together firmly when not in use (so you’re not searching for the ‘other bit’ at the back of the drawer).

You use it manually – so you don’t need extra space on your worktop and you don’t need a power outlet. Requires human effort, but where courgettes are concerned, very easy – a bit more effort needed for a carrot! If I never use it for anything else but courgettes, it will have been a worthwhile purchase.

The result is very satisfying to see – and those pretty spirals require minimal cooking, so nutritionally, they’re a winner – especially now that they get eaten (and not picked-out-and-pushed-to-side-of-plate).

It has been a fairly recent purchase, so I can’t comment on its long term robustness, but I feel confident.

This is quite a neat little spiralizer- good for softer veg eg courgette but for harder veg like carrot, sweet potato etc I found it very difficult. I am left handed so for me, found using it awkward.

As I am now actually spiralising a lot of vegetables and fruits for vegan recipes I have moved on to one with a handle. So this would suit the occasional spiralizer and is small enough to fit neatly away.

Cleaning it is ok but take care near the blade. Reasonable price for handy little gadget.

I don’t have the counter space for a large cranked spiralizer, so I bought a handheld one – the common hourglass-shaped one. I wasn’t necessarily looking for a new one when I stumbled across this while browsing the site, but when I saw it, I knew I had to have it/try it because it seemed to account for all the things I didn’t like about my other, soon to be former, spiralizer.

To that end. Pros: – It’s actually easier to spiral veggies in this than my other, one. Having a flat surface instead of conical structure for the blades, you can work the vegetable much further down than in my previous one, even without the safety assister cap – It’s not just for skinny vegetables like zucchini and carrots.

This was 1 of the 2 main reasons I bought it. In the short time I’ve had it I’ve spiralled potatoes for curly fries and even an onion (although this was trickier to do and the bits were harder to get out from between the blades ).

– Clean up is easy (aside from onions) in that a quick tap and rinse dislodges particles. And then a quick swish with a brush/sponge for hygiene. – It’s so compact and easy to store, the other main reason I bought it.

For my previous spiralizer, the length and shape made it hard to store in our utensil draw, even for a handheld device. This one, however, tucks nicely into the corner. Also, I love the assister cap snaps onto the top to protect the blades and your fingers during storage.

Cons: – Compared to other models (handheld or otherwise), there are no other blade options. So you can’t vary the thickness of the spirals nor can you julienne vegetables. This isn’t a deal breaker for me as I have a peeler that julienne’s vegetables for me just fine.

– The spikey nodes in the assister cap don’t work well in softer vegetables. In both my onion and one of my smaller zucchinis I found at the cap just turned around mulching the top of the vegetable instead of helping it around.

But for me, again, this isn’t a deal breaker because unlike my other handheld you can twist almost all of the vegetable down to the surface with your hand without fear of grazing your fingers before any assistance is needed.

– For the above reasons I’d give this 4. 5 stars if I could, but the benefits so massively outweigh the negatives, that it seemed a shame to give something less than 5 stars that is a joy to use and so easy to clean and store.

Bottomline, if you want an intro level spiralizer to work with multiple types of vegetables and aren’t bothered about having different blade types, then you’re on to a winner with this one.

I was looking for something sturdy to replace my previous little greenhouse, which was basically a metal wire rack with a plastic cover. This is definitely sturdier, while having about the same footprint, which is perfect for my small-ish deck.

You’ll need two people to assemble this, as well as a power drill; it’s definitely not for people new to/uncomfortable with assembling furniture. The doors don’t hang quite right, but the magnets keep them nice and firmly shut.

Missing parts bag & no response from customer service phone. Finish is rough lots of knots & dings. No outdoor wood finish applies should be spar coated. Very disappointed in quality for price. Won’t buy again & will return if parts still missing.

It’s cute and pretty easy to put together, although some holes were missing. It’s nice keeping the top open. we keep our plants in here so our kitty can’t get to them. Its a nice indoor greenhouse and not overly big.

I haven’t hung them yet, but they assembled and ready to go. Assembly directions could have been a little clearer, but it’s not too difficult if you’re even a little bit handy. The cabinets are great quality for the price, and look very nice.

I’m excited to get them hung in my kitchen!.

These are some of the best cabinets we have ever used!! They are really sturdy materials with fine finishes. Putting them together ourselves saved us so much money and it is really easy to do.

I loved the quality of this cabinet sample, but was looking for a finish that was lighter.

This is my 2nd of this exact same refrigerator. The first one was installed and within 10 hours, the freezer was down below 10 degrees and it was making ice. The refrigerator temperature ranged from 38 degrees on the top shelf to 50 degrees on the bottom.

I tried setting the refrigerator on the coolest setting and still was never able to get the bottom shelf below 45 degrees. The top shelf varied from 38 to 42 degrees. Best Buy replaced it with the exact same model and the replacement did the exact same thing.

I had Whirlpool send out a service tech. He verified my temperatures but couldn’t find any issues. He said to load up the fridge to help it maintain a stable temperature. I loaded it up with jugs of water and checked the temperatures the next morning.

The top shelf varied from 38 to 40 degrees. The bottom varied from 45 to 48. The freezer is at 3 degrees, so the compressor is fine. I have another Whirlpool service tech coming out next week to look at it, but the customer service person on the phone was trying to tell me that it’s just fine for the refrigerator to be as high as 45 degrees even though their own website says it should be between 30 and 40 degrees and that spoilage begins once food has been above 40 degrees for two hours.

(Quote from Whirlpool website: “The ideal refrigerator temperature is about 37°F (3°C). However, a range of 33–40°F (0–4°C) is generally accepted as safe for most purposes. Temperatures below 33°F may freeze foods while temperatures above 40°F may lead to food spoilage.

” and “According to the USDA, bacteria grows most rapidly in temperatures ranging from 40°F to 140°F, and fresh foods can spoil if they’re exposed to temperatures above 40°F for more than two hours. “) NOT HAPPY! I spent a ton of money on this fridge and only the top 25% of the fridge is at a safe temperature.

This refrigerator was purchased in late December. When it arrived, the doors seemed to be slightly misaligned when looking from the side. But was assured everything was ok. A month later it accumulated significant frost (a block of ice) in the freezer section.

The Whirlpool repair man fixed the problem by taking our hair dryer and defrosting the ice, then using the hair dryer to somehow heat up the magnets within the door seal (gaskets) to attach to whatever their original position was within the door real.

He claimed this was a common problem ( magnets falling within the rubber door seal) and that was all that was required. I asked him about the misaligned doors, and he said that is not a real issue and that many of the refrigerators have similar problems.

I was in disbelief in hearing this (and the solution to the problem) , but at the same time you are at the mercy of Whirlpool as how they will address repairs. A month later the refrigerator started to accumulate frost again.

We arranged for a second Whirlpool repairman visit some time after that as I was traveling. The appointment was set up from 8am-4pm on a Thursday and the repairman arrived at 4:30 pm, having wasted a full day waiting for him.

I explained the situation to him, although I must admit I was extremely frustrated by then by not only 1) the poorly manufactured refrigerator, 2) equally poor quality control to let that refrigerator leave the factory and reach a consumer’s home, and 3) the poor Whirlpool after service where it seems the repairmen are incentivized to band-aid fix serious problems.

This new Whirlpool repairman ordered a new door which will take up to 6 weeks to arrive. And who knows what happens after that. I would of thought the proper thing to do is to replace the refrigerator with a new one that actually works, but that is at the discretion of Whirlpool.

Well at least a new door is better than using a hairdryer to fix the problem. Which was a quick, superficial, and temporary solution to a problem that does not address or resolve the underlying cause of said problem, and clearly Whirlpool should have known that.

Whilst I have the burden of a not fully operative refrigerator and the hassle to get Whirlpool to fix it.

I bought my refrigerator in early July and have had it for several weeks. I returned the first one that got delivered because the refrigerator temperature ranged from 38 to 53 degrees on the coldest setting (nearly always above 40 degrees) even though the freezer was down below 10 degrees within 12 hours of delivery.

Best Buy replaced it with another refrigerator of the exact same model. This one worked better, but the refrigerator still ranged from 38 to 45 degrees with the refrigerator on the coldest setting. Whirlpool sent two techs out who did help bring it to a better temperature range of 38 to 42 degrees.

A refrigerator that I spent over $1500 on should be able to get the entire refrigerator below 40 degrees. I am extremely disappointed and will not buy a Whirlpool refrigerator again and this also makes me unlikely to buy any Whirlpool appliance in the future.

Aside from the issues I have with the operation of the refrigerator, I have a couple of issues with the design. The back inch of the refrigerator must be kept open for delivery of cold air to the entire refrigerator, so why don’t the shelves have a lip on the back edge to help keep objects from being shoved against the back wall? Alternatively, a simple wire grid that covers the back of the fridge would keep that air flow channel free from obstructions.

The interior shelves of the refrigerator are not adjustable at all. You are stuck with the positions that they are in initially. The shelves on the door are very adjustable and that makes them a lot more versatile.
