20 Best Vegetables For Snacking (2022 Updated)

One of my coworkers bought this on our lunch hour. As we were going back to the job, she opened a bag and asked if I wanted to try some. Let’s just say that was the end of that. The ONLY problem I found with this product is that they always run out and no one else sells them.

These 3 dimensional vegetable chips are amazing! The flavor is definitely like no other veggie chip I’ve had. I’ve always been a huge fan of Herrs brand chips and I’m so happy I’ve found these! A great healthy alternative and they are delicious!.

I buy these chips every single time I shop at BJs. My entire family loves them! I would highly recommend to any parent. These are extremely addicting, there should be a warning on the bag lol

When it comes to snacks for my boys I am very particular on what I give them. As I prefer limit their sugar intake and always look at the nutrition facts. What I love about these is no trans fat, non gmo, no artificial colors or preservatives, 0g cholesterol and 30% less fat than other chips.

38 sticks per serving is a lot, my kids usually eat less than that. These taste great, I love that natural products were used for coloring and kids can’t get enough of them. Two things I wish to see for improvement on these would be amount of sodium and iron percentage increase.

It would also be great to see barbecue style with other run shapes designed. Not a deal breaker, just a suggestion. These are easy to find online or in local stores. Great for camping trips, road trips, traveling or even a fun snack at the park.

It’s so great that these yummy straws are bring given some flavors. This time I tried cheddar cheese and these are pretty good. I don’t pick up a strong “cheddar” flavor but they are somewhat cheesy.

not too highly seasoned, these straws are made of veggies. Non GMO corn, potato, spinach, tomato and beet root powder give the straws their three colors. If you are going to snack, these are a healthier choice and a nice tasty flavor to add some variety.

They definitely don’t leave your fingers too orange as the seasoning and flavor is lighter. Kids should love them and appreciate the mid day crunch in their lunch boxes. 38 straws is a serving. so airy they won’t weigh you down.

I do wish they were cheesier, having grown up on that addictive orange powder that used to cover our fingers with tart, cheesy goodness. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Sure, you could slice a bunch of actual vegetables, bake them, and taste the mediocrity. But why? These are shockingly low calorie– 30 chips in a serving at 150 calories and somehow still AMAZING?! Sold.

I’ve compared many other veggie chips out there and these are by far the best, though a bit hard to find. I’m also disappointed to see they’re only selling in the 1oz bags now, what happened to the case of 6.

These veggie sticks are perfect snack. I pack them to school for my kids. They love them! One bag is also a perfect size. Not too salty and have clean ingredients. We will buy again.

I honestly wasn’t the biggest of all fans unfortunately I was a tad disappointed in them and never bought them again. Just wasn’t the flavor I thought they would be and if I remember correctly they didn’t have much flavor at all.

Maybe bad batch? I’m not a picky eater either.

These little pouches are a godsend. You might think they are just for kids’ lunch bags but I take them to work with me all the time. Instead of reaching for a donut or other sweet pastry in the morning, I grab one of these pouches for that little sweet kick I need before lunchtime arrives.

Scored! My grandson is very picky, but he actually eats and likes these tasty fruit and veggie sauces. A perfect way to sneak in some hidden veggies with the kids! Has an applesauce type consistency and tastes more like fruit than vegetables.

My toddler really likes these pouches. I like that they include a veggie. Easy to squeeze and empty. My two-year-old can do it all by themself. The product can be improved by making the pouch larger.

I highly recommend to others. Cuts down on the price.

Chips are my downfall. They are my favorite thing to have for a snack. When I want that crunch factor, along with the salty, savory craving that I get all too often, chips are my number one go-to. I tend to reach for them when I want that salty, savory craving.

However, since I’m trying to lose some weight, I’ve been eating fewer chips and incorporate more healthy choices. That’s why when I saw these veggie straws at Costco, I was so excited to try them. They came in a variety of three flavors: cheddar cheese, zesty ranch, and sea salt.

Disappointingly, I didn’t care for any of the flavors of any of them. However, if I had to pick one, the zesty ranch probably was my favorite because it was more flavorful. I thought the second-best was cheddar cheese, and the sea salt flavor is the one that I didn’t care for at all, not even one bit.

They were indeed very crunchy, in my opinion, more so than a regular chip. I almost broke one of my teeth once while eating a bag. To me, they taste like hard, crispy, slightly airy, mildly flavored little pieces of nothing, which is my best way to describe them.

So, although I didn’t like them, my sons ate them. Both are over six feet tall and will eat anything and everything eatable in the kitchen, whether they like it or not! They act like there will be a food shortage or something as they’ll eat pretty much any and everything! So at least they didn’t go to waste, but it’s definitely not something that I would buy again.

i am a veggie straw fan for a quick snack, and these are all delicious! i enjoyed all the flavors. favorite is just the “original” sea salt, followed by cheddar then ranch. they are all good though. i am calorie counting for a diet, and having pre packaged snacks already weighed out for me is very handy when i dont want to bust out the scale.

sure the portion isnt what some may want. but you just have to be mindful of the weight this item says it is snd the calories listed and it will give you a good idea of what to expect. i dont think items like this should get knocked when it comes to portion size.

the information is all right there for you to determine if the size is good enough for you.

The variety and small packs really makes this perfect for kids and taking it to go. Each pack contains only 100 calories which is nice. my favorite flavor is cheddar and my son absolutely loves ranch, the original flavor normally gets eaten last its still pretty good.

These normally go out fast at the target I’m located by so when I do get my hands on them its a good day. they’re so crunchy and tasty.

This bag of goodness was a surprise. I bought it first as a snack for the drive home. I love these!!! Then I also tried them with hummus. Gave some to my husband who doesn’t like chips, he loves them!!!.

I am pleasantly suprised by these. I randomly picked these up instead of getting potato chips. I really like these. They have a really good flavor and I like the shape of them. They are comparable to veggie straws which I like too.

I am excited to buy them again.

The zesty ranch compared to the sour cream and onion veggie straws win by far. The sour cream and onion are extremely salty. I’m actually thinking about returning them to the store because I cannot tolerate the salt content.

If the company would remove half of the salt content from 370 mg to 140 mg it would taste so much better. As consumers we have to be careful because too much salt content increases our risk for higher blood pressure.

I love these so much it’s unexplainable! I prefer the veggie straws because they are a bit bigger and a little less hard. I can’t get enough if these, others in the family like them too but I personally find them so addicting I have had to make two different store runs for them and I have eaten 2 full sized bags to myself so far.

I find that once I start I cannot stop eating them and can polish off half of a large bag in one sitting (I am not much of a snack or munchie person so this obsession is a surprise) to me they don’t taste really vegetable-y and do not leave an aftertaste.

The green one has the strongest flavor and it is still extremely light and barely there herb flavor. These are crispy and light, they are not salty at all and have a very satisfying crunch! I am going to try the veggie chips next! Highly recommend 👍👍.

I love these veggie stix. I was eating another brand before I found these and noticed that the other brand had sugar and some other things I wasn’t crazy about. The first time I tried the good health brand, I was hooked.

I literally could eat a whole bag in one night, they are that good. I love how they are actually healthy for you since you are eating vegetables and that there’s no strange additives or preservatives.

They are this good combination of crunchy with a little bit of salty. I have to be super careful with what I eat due to many food allergies but I can eat these without any issues. So happy to finally have found something that satisfies my snack craving.

Did not get these because I have health problems Nor am I trying to eat healthier. I saw these Chips with the different kinds of roots and was curious as to what they taste like. Got to say I absolutely love the taste of these chips.

Each one has a different taste. If you eat them one at a time and if you combine them they go very well together not overpowering. They are however More greasy than most potato chips. Most of the chips are soft crunchy, but you also get one here and there that are not crisp but hard.

I Give these chips an A for taste and I am definitely buying them again in the future. But as is often the case now a days, Walmarts shipping is lacking. The top part of my bag was full sized chips but then rest of my bag (over half) was little pieces because of how they shipped it.

So if I wanted to try them with dip theres no way. Let’s be honest who wants to sit and pick out little broken pieces to eat , Felt like I should grab a spoon to eat the chips with.

This was just a single bag. It was hard to find just one. Lol I don’t know where anyone is finding packs of 2 or 3. These are always sold out anytime I’m out shopping so I had to see what the hype was.

They are pretty good I must say. Not sure they are worth the price because as most chips the bag is half full of air however it’s real veggies. They have a crispier texture than even kettle cooked chips which I really enjoyed.

They were not overly greasy and the right amount of salt that went well with each of the vegetables. I would most definitely buy these again but next time I’m hoping they are in stock at Sam’s club so that there’s more chips in the bag because after everyone in the house had a try there wasn’t much left of the bag.

My favorite Terra Chips are no longer available in-store. The minimum quantity for shipping is two. Both bags contained only a few pieces that were large enough to serve at a party. The broken pieces were untouched since they are so small.

There are nearly two bags of crumbs left. I would recommend buying these if they were actually chips instead of crumbs.

I love your chips! This is the second bag I bought that the chips are all burnt. This one is the sweet potatoes and the beets. I could send them back to you if you would like, the best use date is 08MAR22, but that really doesn’t make a difference as they are burnt and I did not do it.

A bit expensive for chips but I would still splurge money buying these since they are healthy. As most healthy foods go the price is where it should be at. Love looking at these chips since they have so many cool colors to it.

Really yummy and tasty s well. Can get very addicting. As somebody who likes salt a little too much, I would say that the manufacturers can add a tiny bit more salt to these chips as well. I always tend to eat the sweet potato ones before I eat any of the other ones since I love the taste of the sweet potato chips way more than anything else.

It’s a must buy if you’re okay to splurge on healthy chips.

Listen. I paid $45 for chips. unsalted chips. but chips. They were potato, cheese puffs and Terra chips. Sure. I love all three! But you know what makes the difference shopping at Healthy Heart Market? Simple.

They respected that I wanted to get my chips well packed and ‘crush free’ They absolute packed these beautifully. LOTs of padding and my chips arrived whole and with an extended ‘use by’ date. Honestly.

Theses chips are simply delicious like their Moto. And very inexpensive that it won’t hurt your budget. To or not to improve, add in more vegetable. Broccoli, Kale and spinach. More green vegetables the better.

These were a delicious! The only thing that stops me from getting them all the time is that they are cooked in Vegetable oil (albeit Organic Sunflower and/or Safflower oil) which is typical of 99. 9% of chips, but it’s organic oil and I know most aren’t as fanatical as me about that.

Warning: it’s very easy to eat the whole bag.

Today we tried Terra Real Vegetable Chips Original, sea salt. I definitely liked the fact that these chips are gluten free, non-GMO. The crunch was definitely better than I expected and the taste was really good.

The sweet potato was delicious. It is a nice change over regular baked potato chips. The flavor and texture is denser. Overall, we all really enjoyed them. These were purchased through Field Agent, and I am so glad we tried them!.

My goal is to eat healthy, organic whole foods. The reviews looked good on this bag of Brad’s kale chips. I liked that it was a raw, and low in sodium. My impression eating a few out of the bag today for the first time is this.

They are hard. not light and crispy but hard and crunchy. don’t have much flavor. kind of bland and the first thing I smelled and tasted was vegetables. Not a bad thing. but honestly, I can’t say I’m in love with these chips or that I could sit down and gobble up a whole bag.

I ate about 8 chips and was done. Took a while to eat each piece which I guess is far better than if these were light and crunchy, maybe a bit oily and reminded me of potato chips. THEN I could eat a whole bag.

I guess I feel neutral about this bag of chips because it’s rather boring. Would I buy this again? I don’t think so.

5 stars hands down. There packed with flavor, they’ve got amazing crunch just like chips. Their so healthy and good for you. I don’t think there’s anything to improve this product. Plant based with sunflower seeds, chickpea miso, carrots and tomatoes.

I totally love these chips and will buy them again! the only thing that confused me was when I received my order the bags I got of these were different than the picture posted here on the website. The bag I got doesn’t state raw chips or even look the same.

It simply says Veggie Chips Cheddar on the bag and it’s a completely different bag with a colorful picture on it; however it is exactly the same ingredients. So not sure if the bag has since changed or the one I got is the newer one, so if you do order these and get a different bag, like I did, know that they are the same chips and are pretty darn good tasting.

First of all, these chips are properly bagged and not filled 1/4 chips and 3/4 air like the big brands. I couldn’t even finish half the bag in one sitting, so it definitely justified the cost for me.

Anyway, I bought the variety pack and couldn’t wait to try the BBQ. I was blown away at how good the flavor is! It’s not too heavy on any one metric; it’s perfectly balanced and has just the right “kick” as far as spice.

A good alternative to standard chips. High fiber content. The renewable source of pulp works well with the palate. Great for dipping with hummus. I have only tried the sea salt which is delicious with low sodium content.

The 5oz bag is full of chips and not air. The bag is plastic neutral, but is it recyclable? The price makes it a more niche product for those looking for more healthy snack choices. I will be trying the other flavors.

I was interested in this item after seeing it on Shark Tank TV show. I found the item at a Target in Tucson, and bought the regular and salt & vinegar flavors. I tossed out the regular flavor ones after eating one chip, and managed to eat about a third of the salt & vinegar ones after drowning them in French onion dip.

The texture is like compressed sawdust. very dry. The flavor is even worse! They are also overpriced.

These have more fat and less protein per serving than the canister of Lay’s potato crisps, yet they are marketed as a healthier choice which is ridiculous. The tiny bit of vegetable powder on the chips is not enough to provide any kind of nutrition, and it interferes with the flavor of the sour cream and onion for me.

They aren’t healthier or organic or anything, but they cost more than Pringles or Lay’s. There’s nothing “sensible” or “portioned” about them. It’s a big can of potato chips.

Unfortunately, I cannot eat gluten. I have been missing pringles for years. I have tried other gluten free look alike brands, but none taste that great and are more expensive. Found these in the store this week and decided to give them a try.

I’m sold! They taste just like the Pringles I remember sans the gluten. My wife who can eat gluten said they taste just like Pringles. I did not buy them for any advertised vegetable content. Let’s be real, these are still just chips, and they’re delicious.

Since I bought these in store they did not have previously mentioned issues of broken chips. Almost all the chips were intact.

These veggie chips are supposed to be made with potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, and beets. When I bought these, that led me to believe that they were healthier than regular Pringles. However after tasting one… I have to compare the ingredients.

Which I have not done yet. But they taste so good it’s hard to believe that they’re better for you than the regular Pringles. If I do find that the ingredients are better, I will definitely be purchasing this again.

I had tried another one that was like green the chips were green… And I did not like them at all. But these, taste great. That’s why it’s hard for me to believe that they’re healthier. .

OK, these dried veggie chips are DELICIOUS! Such a nice little snack – like having potato chips. And just 130 calories for 1 oz. – which does meet my “I need a snack fix!” time. Love them! They seem pricey, but if you just eat an ounce at a time they do last awhile.

And sometimes you can catch them on sale. Worth the money to me!.

This is a great product idea, but mine said best by August 2016 and they had a cardboard taste to them, not fresh or appealing. The dried Mango strips were the same problem, the best by date passed and they were hard to chew and not tasting like they should.

I have the sesame sticks, best by Oct, hope they will taste right. I am disappointed and will not trust buying these products from you, since you think best by date means nothing. I wasted alot of money also.

I am now expecting an order with the cheese sesame sticks, wondering about the best by date. , since they were ordered before I knew how the others were with a past best by date. One plus, the packaging was perfect, the products should have been that good!!.

Wow, Shocked in a good way – unbelievable how great these taste. Have had dried veggie chips from reputable companies & none compare to how fresh these taste. Absolutely outstanding & delicious. Intend to purchase again.
