I love this tempura batter mix! It’s makes making homemade, delicious tempura super easy. The mix taste great and is super well priced!

These soy curls, soaked briefly, squeezed well, and thrown into a dish — take on whatever flavor you want! Literally. They have no strong flavor or personality themselves-they are the perfect companion to every dish I’ve ever made! The fact that they can be stored for up to a year!? Perfect.

They have routinely fooled meat-eaters (who have NEVER have figured out it’s not animal) and who comment on how “lovely” and “tender” and “flavorful” my dishes are! It’s true! Could not live without these Butler Soy Curls — seriously.

All one needs to say about these is “pantry staple”. Forgot to go grocery shopping? Throw em in a pan with some water & BBQ sauce and fry til crisp. Need to plump up that sad soup? Toss em in! Quick sandwich filling? Rehydrate in some veggie broth, drain, chop & mix with mayo & pickles.

And as an added bonus for those of us that remember TVP, no gastric distress!.

Butler’s Soy Curls are so versitile. They made a great “meaty” addition to soup. Bread them and air fry them for tasty chicken fingers. I have made clam strips (Google the recipe) from Butler’s Soy Curls and they were so good.

I recall lunching at a food court in downtown Toronto for a treat of clam strips and fries. These are just as good!.

Great flavor! Super aromatic [indian] spices w that yummy turmeric (an anti-inflammatory). Vegetarian. Gluten free. Microwaveable in bag (1 minute). Labeled ‘mild’ which I agree w but if you like zero spice, I might not go for it because my dad felt like it had a tiny kick once he was finished inhaling it lol.

The only issue I have is w the vegetables; it had quite a lot of diced potatoes but it needs to have more ‘fresh’ veggies added to it. This is why I took off 1 star. I added cut green beans, carrots, and red onions that I just cooked while the rice was cooking and added to the tika masala when it was done.

With added veggies and a scoop of rice this is enough for 2 people. I made 1/2 cup of white rice and we only ate 1/4- it soaks up the sauce so i opted for less rice and more tika. If you like to add some spice, a few dashes of the cholula green pepper hot sauce is the closest to the spicy green Indian sauce I’ve found.

Oh and it lasts a LOT longer than the best buy date LOL I didnt see the date (I found it in our mountain cabin pantry). 2 yrs past! Yikes. I’m guessing it was still good because it’s vacuum packed (and kept at a high altitude?).

Regardless, I’m impressed by it’s shelf life.

A number of quick meals on the market are often not that innovative, and some of them aren’t always very tasty. This is something that actually is quite innovative, and it’s quite tasty. The best part about this dish is that you can pair it with whatever you want.

You can parrot with rice, pasta, flatbread, naan, any other bread-the possibilities are endless. You could also pair with meat if you want. The only quibble I have about this product is it’s a bit small for two people.

But, this is one of the tastiest quick meals I’ve had out there for quite some time. .

I absolutely love this stuff and I’m thrilled I found it at such an economical price and in a large quantity because we use so much Tempura batter which I previously, always paid $2-$3 bucks for a 10 ounce box from the grocery store.

I use it for all of our fried foods, from chicken to fish to mushrooms to onion ring to just about any fried vegetable. I always dry and lightly dust the items with regular flour first which makes the Tempura batter adhere even better.

This was a super buy for us. We love deep fried veggies and fish. We buy the oil here from WEBSTRAUNT and then plate it all up for us and friends. Never got a bad view when we use this Tempura Batter.

It stores fantastic in the white container and lid also purchased from WEBSTRAUNT.

Fried up some broccoli, green beans and mushrooms and they came out fantastic. Who said eating your veggies couldn’t be fun! Lol. I have to give some shrimp a try next. Great tasting batter!

I know, I know. most people don’t like peas. But I love these! They have great color right out of the can. typically brighter than other brands. The flavor is lightly sweet. I like to make them by heating them up and then adding a little butter.

Yum! I also enjoy refrigerating them and adding them to leafy green salads. The only downside is the price. I can but 2 cans of other brands for the price of 1 can of Del Monte.

A sweet round surprise always fresh and completely perfect as a savory addition to the simplest of meals al the way up to the more complex meal playing on the fresh taste as it gives that gentle and at times deep flavor profiles.

Here’s a tip to make these peas exceptionally phenomenal – add small amount of cubed Velveeta cheese to elevate this common dish to a rich compliment to any meal. I serve this to my niece’s nephews they always find it hard to get enough of it!.

This brand has been my go to since I loved out of my mom’s. Very tasting. Super fresh. Great to eat on it’s on or to add it on to a delicious salad. I’m all about easy and quick meals and this adds a nice fresh kick to pretty much anything.

The first thing I noticed about these split peas is that they were incredibly clean and free from obnoxious little stones that often show up in many bags of split peas. Such as pleasure to not have to deal with that.

I used them to make a creamy, thick ham hock and pea soup. These have a beautiful flavor. Can’t wait to use them in other recipes!.

Hands down, my child’s favorite vegetable combo. It is nice having a mix so you don’t need to open two separate cans, and they come in different sizes. We buy the small cans so our toddler can eat them as a snack when she is hungry and we buy the larger cans for when we incorporate them in our regular meals.

Highly recommend.

I found this an excellent alternative to fresh or frozen when there’s no access. These cans are extremely affordable and easy to use, especially when you just want some quick vegetables to add as a side to your meal.

I don’t care for the excess of water that comes, so I strain and wash them before use, but there’s no difference between fresh and canned – great taste and value!.

As we all know veggies can be pricey and almost always requires some prep time. With these you don’t have to worry about it! Just need to buy it, open it and eat it or ad it to your rice or any other recipe you might be preparing! No hassle and all the flavours and vitamins.

Would for sure get it again once my reserve disappears :).

This was very simple and easy to use. I used it for chicken strips and they were delicious! Almost as good as long John silvers!! I will definitely buy this again.

This tempura fry mix worked great for frying my shrimp for the Chinese dinner I put on for my deacons and their wives.

Really great using with anything really. I use this to make cashew chicken. Or fried shrimp. Pretty good price compared to buying stuff to make it. Good to use for veggies too.

This is the easiest way to make tempura dishes. Just mix water with this Kikkoman batter mix and dip shrimp, vegetables and/or other things in it. And it doesn’t crumble in the fryer is it is wonderfully good.

Birds Eye Steamfresh Roasted Red Potatoes With Chive Butter Sauce make it simple and easy for my husband and I to enjoy a delicious side dish. I cannot rave about these enough! Even though the thought of steamed vegetables (let alone microwaveable) bothers me, these are one of my favorite sides! So filling and delicious! They remain nice and moist and just taste amazing.

I recommend drizzling a little ranch dressing on them. There are no artificial flavors or preservatives added. You can serve as as a side dish at dinnertime or mix them into your favorite recipes. They are ready to serve in 10 minutes on the stovetop or in the microwave.

I keep a bag of potatoes fresh in the freezer until I’m ready to use them. Birds Eye makes vegetables easy to eat!.

I was so excited to try this mix of vegetables as a quick and easy side dish but was disappointed to see that it was 90% potatoes and corn with another red pepper and carrots making up a small percent and broccoli almost non-existent.

Seriously 3 tiny slivers with some green specks showing at one time it came in contact with broccoli. The quality of the ingredients was good but will not buy again. I guess if you just want to fool yourself into thinking you are broccoli with actually tasting the broccoli then this is for you.

This was a bag full of white corn with two or three pieces of the other vegies shown. The title should be White Corn with a few red potatoe blends. It was very disappointing and looked nothing like the picture on the package.

So i had picked up a bag of these steamable frozen green beans (and the corn too) simply because the store brand bags all had little holes in them which let. in the freezer air and theyd have tasted nasty.

so i got these cuz they didnt have puncture wounds. THESE THINGS ARE AMAZING!!! Not only are they tasty but NO POT NEEDED!! They cut back on dishes!! Save water, save time. 5 min and theyre done. Dont have to take them out of the bag; just pop em in the microwave, 5 min on the timer.

BAM!! Take em out let em sit for a min then tear the notch on the bag, which was amazingly easy (comes in handy when you have nerve damage in your hands) and enjoy! Usually we have alot of veggies left over, not this time.

I had been enjoying your frozen green beans for years, always tender crisp. However, in recent years I have been disappointed with the Steamfresh product. They turned out very tough and stringy. I had followed the directions, but was very disappointed.

Recently, I decided to try another package. I cooked it yesterday according to directions and they were tough and the beans were large as previously. I put them in a container, added water, and microwaved them for another minute.

Still tough. Another minute, still tough. It seems like the beans were just too old when they were frozen. I want to enjoy your green beans again, but can’t buy them until I know they will be tender crisp when I microwave them.

I’ve tried a bunch of different kinds of this product. They have all been really really good plus quick & easy. Quick all by their selves or as a veggie side for dinner. I absolutely love veggies of all kinds but needed something to add to my dinner that wld be quick yet easy & that’s when I found this product.

It turned out not only to be Quick & Very Easy but it also tastes great too. I highly recommend this product. I do wish they came in larger sizes.

Personally, I’m not at all pleased with getting the delivery two days prior to the expected date. I was notified by email, which I don’t usually keep open all day long especially since this is the weekend, so rarely.

On top of it all the delivery person didn’t have the courtesy to ring the bell, just a text message which I didn’t see for about for two hours. I not under 50 with my cell phone in my hands at all times.

As for the product, I like it better than the Libby brand. The Great Value cans have an even mixture, whereas Libby’s (a generally good quality product) has about 80% of the vegetables in the mix to be carrots and large chunks of potatoes.

I love fresh asparagus. For many years I pick some up at the grocery store produce section on every trip and had it many times per week. Sometimes it’s freash and a good batch, sometimes it’s stale, rubbery or not in stock.

No longer. The Birds Eye frozen asparagus is now the only asparagus I eat. It is always at peak, quality is consistent, taste is equal to fresh and I always have lots on hand in the freezer. I prepare it sauteed on stovetop as follows.

Stainless steel pan drizzled with olive oil. Place frozen asparagus spears in pan. Add salt and pepper. Medium heat. Then don’t touch for 8-10 minutes until bottom of asparagus gets a nice char. Using tongs turn over each spear, add some more salt & pepper and cook additional 2-3 minutes.

Enjoy.

Asparagus is a funny vegetable to eat when it’s not fresh. It has to be stored and then cooked absolutely perfectly and Birds Eye makes that a breeze. It’s mostly like fresh but does fall prey to a little sogginess towards the bottom of the stalk.

But considering most of the stalk retains it’s crunch and the tips retain their texture fine it’s not that big of a deal. It’s quick and easy to cook with no prep time or extra dishes needed initially.

And super affordable. Definitely recommend if you don’t have time for fresh.

I honestly love asparagus and was always so particular about its preparation. Birds Eye is superb in its quality and tastes just like fresh farmer’s market asparagus. I can’t wait to go buy more. I include it in breakfast and dinner! I use it especially in my asparagus salad.

The quality, freshness and presentation of this product was just fine, as was the service in purchasing the product. These peas are fantastic! I’m usually cautious of steam-in-bag peas as they can be dry, hard, or have tough skins.

These peas do not! Theyre unsalted, and have a great color and taste. The cook time on the package is just right, not underdone or overdone, and resulted in soft peas without the sandiness or toughness.

I’m very happy with the product and am hoping the quality is consistent from bag to bag. I paid less than a dollar for the product and am happy with the value.

Target is a good source of sweet peas, however I was surprised a couple of peas in the last bag had 20-30% black marking on them, a minor thing. Origin oddly was Europe for the peas. I’ll try to include the lot number in a photo to attach to this review.

We used to love these peas. But the last two bags I bought are horrible. Threw them out they were so bad. The zip on the bad bags ran along the long side of the bag. The ones we like had the zipper along the short side.

I hope they go back to the old supplier/method/etc.

This is a good product but not a great product. It’s run of the mill frozen mixed vegetables. The organic version was better but it seems as though Sams quit carrying it at all locations around me. For organic mixed vegetables I’m going to have to buy from the other wholesale club now which is a shame because I really enjoyed the smaller individual bags at Sam’s.

Anyway, this product is good but not great. Passable mixed vegetables. Flavor is fine. Size of pieces is good. Small bags are nice.

It was a nice surprise to try these mixed veggies and find them so pleasing to my taste buds. They even contain more string beans and less corn than the Birdseye’s brand I have bought for years.
