20 Best Vegetarian Subscription Box (2022 Updated)

Ever since Rapunzel’s low sodium veggie bouillon cubes were discontinued, I have been searching for a comparable alternative. Edward & Sons formula meets my expectations, and might even surpass them.

If you are looking for a low-sodium veggie bouillon with mostly organically-grown ingredients, I recommend trying this option.

I had been using Knorr’s vegetable bouillon until my store no longer carried it so I thought I’d try this product. I really don’t care for the flavor and I bought 6 packs. It has an odd flavor in my opinion and I love vegetables.

My search continues to find a substitute product.

These were sent by mistake. A happy accident. I will be buying more. Organic and tasty! Makes noodles or rice into a feast.

This is the most wonderful box of healthy delights! I bought it for my husband as a Christmas present as he likes to eat healthily but still loves his snacks and it was perfect. He loved all the different flavours and it’s such good value for money.

What a great surprise when the Big Night In Snack Box arrived as a thank you gift from work. Being coeliac and intolerant to oat and lactose really restricts what snacks I can enjoy. Here in one box is a full range.

Totally think this vitamin is the best. Dr. Allowed me to take this supplement during chemo. I feel that by taking this supplement while taking chemo allowed me to feel some energy, which helped with a positive attitude.

I am still taking this supplement, and plan on doing so for the rest of my life! I would much rather take a whole food supplement than one that is “chemical” in nature. I have no negitive side effects with this supplement, where as with non whole food supplements, I frequently had digestive and tummy issues.

I’m in the “elderly” and “special diet to stay alive” category — so have to look away from all the charming photos of super-sweet cereal breakfasts, even yours. But I LOVE the unsweetened cereal, not just for breakfast — I garnish my almond/frozen cauliflower/unsweetened cocoa smoothies with a spoonful or two and it adds the perfect crunch, and offsets the sweet powdered monk fruit.

I’ve been waiting for a cereal like this for at least a decade. NO sugar. I repeat, NO SUGAR. Next, HIGH PLANT-BASED PROTEIN. I’m so tired of seeing cereals made with whey protein (and soy protein, which I’ve never liked).

It tastes even better than the similar oat-based O-shaped cereal you’re thinking of. I love adding fruits to my bowl, whether they’re frozen, dried, or fresh. I can create a unique flavor with the unsweetened base every single day.

I have been searching for a box of cereal with this kind of ingredients for a very long time. I thought I found a few but later discovered that the labeling contents were deceptive. I recently tried your Three Wishes Cereal (Honey flavored), and was pleasantly surprised with how it tasted.

considering how healthy it is according to the ingredients posted. I also tried your unsweetened box but was disappointed due to the amount of sodium content. Please alter the amount of salt you put into the unsweetened cereal.

It has been my experience that the nutrition facts and the ingredients are the most important information to read on all food products. Thank you for your vision and the results of it. I give the honey flavor two thumbs up!! I look forward to purchasing it again.

The avocados are large and creamy like butter. The pineapples are sweet and juicy. I cut the pineapples up and put into freezer bags because it’s so much fruit. I put the papaya in the freezer as well for smoothies later on.

I didnt know what the guava was supposed to taste like so I got rid of it. The mangos are being eaten this morning. I was very pleased with my order and will definitely reorder.

I ordered the Wellness Box as a gift for my aunt and uncle. The fruit they got would have been incredibly expensive or not available in their area so they loved it. The order arrived on time and they said the fruits were delicious!.

Amazing idea!!!! We ordered the immunity box (Tropical Wellness) and a box of Malanga. Both boxes were delivered fast and everything was extremely fresh! Love the idea. So far the Bees Wax Candle project is a little simple and not really what expected. Also with very little instruction. The curiosity level was inspired by the trying to figure out what honey dripper? As nothing was taught on that? The book about bees is great! My six year old granddaughter reads and this was really fun and interesting! I hope the next month is better as far as projects go.

But all in all the idea is wonderful. In comparison to Kiwi Crate I am a little disappo.

I bought this as a gift for my vegan friend who never has enough snacks and she absolutely loves it! This was the only vegan snack box I could find that looked even remotely good, but it turned out to be fantastic.

My son was quite impressed with the Vegan Snack Box. Although he is no longer a Vegan, he told me the snacks were very good and he was pleased with the gift.

So many new types of pasta – high protein, gluten-free, and regular wheat pasta made with vegetable purees. I wanted to compare a few brands of “alternative” pastas to see how they compared to conventional pasta and to each other.

I cooked all of them according to instructions (in salted water) and tasted them combined with Muir Glen tomato sauce and also with a simple dressing of seasoned olive oil/balsamic vinegar. Jovial’s brown rice pasta is gluten-free and works really well as a straight pasta replacement for the wheat-averse.

Tolerant and Banza make pasta from lentils and chickpeas, respectively, and both are great sources of protein and fiber – it would be better not to think of them as pasta any more but as an entire protein-rich food.

Of these two, I prefer Tolerant’s lentil pasta – it’s tastier and has a better texture than Banza’s chickpea pasta. Then there’s Barilla’s “veggie” pasta that’s made from wheat but also contains 25% spinach and zucchini puree – it tastes about the same as regular pasta but contains more vitamins.

The bottom line is that they are all good in different ways – my favorites are Jovial and Tolerant. Tolerant’s green lentil penne is more expensive than regular pasta, but I think it’s best to think of it as just a different way of eating lentils, or of incorporating more veggie protein into your diet.

It has a good texture and did a good job of holding onto the sauce. It went well with tomato sauce and was also tasty combined with just olive oil/balsamic vinegar because the pasta adds its own flavor – more than wheat or rice pasta.

Note that their serving size is 3 oz, while other pastas report nutritional content for 2 oz serving. So, per 2 oz serving (to compare with other pastas) it delivers 30% of your fiber needs, 14 grams of protein, and is also rich in folate and iron, and also some (10% rda) calcium and B12 also.

One thing I noticed after eating this lentil pasta was that I wasn’t tempted to snack later that evening – it fills you up! 5/5 gold stars for quality and price. For social and environmental impact, I think Tolerant’s green lentil penne deserves 4/5 green stars.

It’s made purely from organic lentils. Lentils and chickpeas are both classified as pulses (part of the legume family) – these plants fix their own nitrogen and therefore have much lower fertilizer needs.

The UN declared 2016 the year of the pulse to draw attention to these foods as more sustainable protein sources. Tolerant have some room for improvement on their packaging (compared to Jovial above) and also company transparency – there’s no real information available on the company.

Excellent flavor and vary clean, only one ingredient, organic green lentils. Tolerant brand is one of the best and least expensive organic, non-GMO, gluten free pastas available. Love IT!

We totally love the peanut butter granola but it looks like Natur’s Path has discontinued it. I have dietyary restrictions and this Hemp flavor is the only other one I can eat. I am not particularly fond of it, but I have fruit, yogurt and granola 4 or 5 times a week for breakfast and had to buy “something.

” I am not anxious to spend $8 or $9 for the same size granola from another company. We may have to go back to making our own.

Does this granola taste great? YES! It’s delicious. A local cafe here puts it on top of their acai bowls, and I fell in love with it. So I decided to look up the brand and the nutritional info. I was very disappointed to find out that sugar is the second ingredient on the list.

In fact, there is 10 GRAMS in every serving. That’s a lot of sugar, so of course this granola tastes great. Just don’t fool yourself into thinking you’re actually being super healthy eating it. Is it a better option than Lucky Charms (which actually has less sugar in the same serving amount), yes, because of the protein and fiber, but it’s still sweet enough to be considered an indulgence and not an every day food.

This granola is crunchy and delicious, but not overly sweet, which I love. I also appreciate the health benefits of the flax seeds. I just need to be sure to eat it before it expires, since flax seeds tend to go rancid quickly.

I had high hopes for this Amy’s Vegetable Lasagna, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The lasagna has all organic vegetables, including spinach, zucchini, and carrots which I like. In addition, it has organic pasta and also mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

It tasted good, but I was hoping for more of the filling; instead, the pasta was real thick, and the filling, by comparison, was minimal. However, I have eaten other “Amy’s” brand foods and enjoyed them.

This lasagna was not lousy; it was delicious, but I wanted more veggies and less pasta. The front of the box makes it look like the lasagna has a good amount of filling, but looks can be deceiving. If you don’t mind the minimal amount of filling and thick pasta, then I recommend this.

On the other hand, I probably won’t purchase this Amy’s vegetable lasagna in the future. I will stick to the alternative products that this company makes.

WOW, just WOW! This has got to be the BEST frozen TV dinner I have EVER eaten. I could seriously eat at least one of these every day of the week and I do NOT eat TV dinners, for various reasons. I ran across it while on another website, while placing a grocery delivery order and I was blown away by the reviews.

Even though they say not to be influenced by reviews on this particular website, I couldn’t help but want to try this particular item as I’ve enjoyed other foods by Amy’s. By the time I went to pay for my groceries, the last one had sold so I figured it wasn’t meant to be.

However, a short while later I stumbled upon it while visiting a local grocery store and couldn’t refuse. I am SO GLAD I found it in store! After trying it, I went back asap and scooped up every last one they had available.

It was flavorful and didn’t contain any weird, unknown particles I’ve found in other frozen dinners. Gross! The portion size was good, BUT of course, due to how much I loved the taste, I’d like for it to be bigger.

The cheese they put in this actually tastes real and they put a decent amount. Yes, I’m very picky when it comes to frozen, pre-packaged meals. This one however, I can’t seem to get enough of. Highly recommend!!!!! #influenster #Amy’s.

This is one of the best frozen meals I ever ate. The first time I bought it I was hesitant to try it since it said vegetable lasagna. I was scared it was gonna taste like middle school cafeteria food but I was so wrong.

It tastes like an amazing lasagna. I still don’t know how they get it to taste to good! Its also on the healthy side which is great.

I love getting the monthly bariatric box subscription. I definitely think it’s worth the value that I paid for it. The issue I’m finding regularly is that they provide low sugar/no sugar items or items that aren’t made of the typical pasta or potato chip type things.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean they are low carb. Those who have had bariatric surgery, which I assume are most of the customers for this subscription, can’t have very many carbs. Most of the products are still high carb even though they don’t have sugar.

The first thing I saw when I opened my box was a bag of sugar-free jelly beans. Immediately, my red flag went up. As a bariatric patient, my surgeon and dietician both advise strongly against artificial sweeteners.

Artificial sugars cause you to be hungrier more often, especially at night. It’s true. I experienced that. I am also incredibly lactose intolerant now which is a rather common side effect to the surgery.

Of course there was a cheese bread mix in my box. There was also 2 items that I am not sure I identified properly. One may be a weird pill case. The other may be chap stick. It could be a roll-on deodorant.

Not sure as they are not labeled. I’m glad I only purchased 3 months worth. I won’t be renewing. I don’t feel I can trust that my best interest is kept in mind with these products.

I really didn’t like most of the assortment. The biotin patches was awesome and a couple of the other food items. I wish it was a little more in the box. Tge salmon skins was awful to me. But overall I am satisfied and will keep ordering.

Just hoping my next box will have more and better items. Oh yeah the plant based cheddar things was so good. Actually the pasta was great. I think those salmon skins threw me off and to me it just was not enough items in the box.

Wow! I’ve tried several vegan home delivery meal kits. Most of them are good, but require the same amount of prep and cooking as if I shopped for the ingredients myself. I just received my first Mama Sezz (Athlete) bundle and so far the food is fantastic! It’s just like homemade, but without the work.

It’s going to make meal prep so easy for me during the week and I’m already looking forward to my next meal. In addition, it tastes like REAL food, because it is real food. It’s flavorful and savory and filling.

I loved everything that came in the MamaSezz box and combined it in many ways. My only upset was that the Lasagna that was supposed to be part of the order did not turn up in my box.

I bought a box to try Korean snacks because I’m a huge kpop multistan. Unfortunately, there was a page after I purchased the box with other boxes, I wanted to know the difference with the one I just bought bit accidentally clicked on add to the cart.

You probably think ( like I did) that it would just add it to the cart, not buy it. But you’re wrong. I just had a 40$ box paid. When I tried to reach out the customer service they said that it was a human mistake so they could only refund 80%.

Since I would have lose some money I chosed to not be refunded. So I lost 40$ to have almost exactly the same box than the one I bought before. I’ve been fooled so I’m really disappointed. Plus, I’m disappointed about how many products there are in the box.

For the price, it would cost less to buy what you want and at least other websites don’t want to extort you money. You want to lead the donkey with a carrot with you BTS lightstick to have good reviews.

This was my first time getting a Seoul box. Although there were items I had to pass over to my other half due to allergies I loved it. I would definitely recommend to others. I noticed that the snacks we have here in the uk are a lot more heavier when than Seoul snacks and we should definitely take notes on the snacks packaging here we don’t have resealable bags or packages of snacks which is a shame.

Black beans are my favorite so this dish is a special favorite. The combination of spices and textures make this a go to when the craving for Tex Mex hits. Natural, whole food ingredients are an extra bonus.

Delicious! A little pricey for the portion but organic food, even though mass produced in a factory, seem to think they need a fat sticker price as well. (They were featured on “How It’s Made” a few years back.

) Quick and easy to prepare, great for a single person or the working individual with a short lunch break. Enjoyed the taste, just not keen on $4 a plate for a small frozen dinner.

Amy’s whipped up a really great verde sauce to go with this tamale. While the texture of the tamale itself isn’t what one will likely identify as “authentic,” it’s not at all bad. I like the balance of the tangy sauce atop the tamale.

The rice leaves a little something to be desired, but it’s not a bad side. And it tastes pretty good when you scoop a bite of it with your tamale.
