20 Best Veggies For Hummus (2022 Updated)

I just received these and included were free Sea Salt Hummus Crisps. The. Best By date for the potato crisps is in approximately 8 weeks and the hummus crisps is 6 weeks. I have bought WW food in the past and there has always been a much later Best By date.

It’s ironic that if I want a fresh tasting product I have to gobble these up in a shorter period than I planned. I would recommend the product itself, but would like better transparency about the freshness of it.

Of course, I can’t complain too much about something that’s free.

If you like BBQ flavored chips and light, airy crisps, then this snack is for you. Perfect as a side to a sandwich or veggie burger. Or, as a quick stand-alone snack! I was cautiously optimistic when I purchased this crisp as I’ve been disappointed by low-point snacks that tasted like cardboard.

But, this one truly delivers. Tasty and only 2 points. Only negative: Whew! This one sure is priced high for the quantity.

These are really good for a 2 point crunchy snack. This loses a star for 2 things – 1. I don’t really enjoy rice cakes, and these chips are basically flattened rice cakes and in each bag, there are usually a chip or 2 that didn’t get flattened.

Then it’s too close to rice cake for me. For the price, I need to get every chip I can out of the bag. Ha! That leads me to reason #2. The price. I understand that better choices cost more, but that stinks and plays into “Fat America” eating like crap costs way less.

My husband I both eat them so we need 3 boxes to get through a week of crunchy snacks, as opposed to $5 for a bag of Pirate Booty to get us through a week. The cost is more than triple.

It’s great to have shelf stable hummus on hand. It tastes really good, very creamy, and has a nice lemony tone. I usually freeze half of it because I’m immunocompromised and have to be careful about how long I keep food once it’s been opened.

It freezes great. It’s made in Jordan.

This has become my favorite hummus, alongside the Hope brand. It is great tasting, you can actually taste the garbanzo beans, and has a lemony zest to it. It comes in a glass jar, which is more preferable than plastic, and does not contain any preservatives.

It has a smooth creamy texture, almost whipped (but not quite), and it feels very light to the taste and the stomach. Some other brands fill you up after a few spoonfuls and give you a heavy sensation in the belly.

I can eat this entire jar and still want more. The only drawback for me: it is a big higher on sodium content than other brands, by a good margin. It doesn’t taste salty, though. I’ll keep buying this and hope they don’t stop selling it on Vitacost!.

I have tried a few of their flavors (all good) but like this one the best. The sundried tomato flavor is subdued which I like. A good pairing with the hummus natural flavor and if I want lots of other flavor I can stack sliced tomato, red pepper, and so forth on the dipping cracker of my choice.

I’m not a hummus expert by any means, I just discovered it recently at a restaurant and know what tastes good to me and what doesn’t. This tastes good. Very good.

I have thrown out 7 jars due to dark (spoiled product?), spots on the lid when opened. No info provided to call to investigate with manufacturer. Won’t be buying anymore. And I buy in bulk, so expensive mistake.

Don’t waste your money. It’s gross! I love hummus but this stuff… definitely NOT hummus.

I went to go get groceries yesterday and this was my haul. One thing you will always see in my grocery bag is Sabra hummus. I love it! I like to use it on carrots 🥕, celery, crackers and pretzels 🥨. It’s a lot healthier than your classic chips and dip.

I love the smooth, creamy and garlicky texture and flavor. I highly recommend this dip/hummus for anyone that loves a good flavor. Btw I only buy Sabra brand hummus because it taste the best.

This product has just the right taste and goes well with any kind of pita chips, carrots, cucumbers, or crackers. The flavors are very good and stays good for a while. Sabra classic hummus is always a perfect go to snack.

I have tried many brands but Sabra is definitely one of my favorites. Even my kids love eating this and we all enjoy eating it as an evening snack.

I love these lentil crisps – they’re delicious and crispy. They’re a nice subtle salt flavour which is delicate. They’re not a super strong flavour so might not be for you if that is what you’re looking for! I like that they’re not packed full of unknown ingredients and are so much healthier than other crisp.

Absolutely delicious. You do not actually need to eat a lot to get the benefit of the chilli lemon kick. By far the best in the range! Always purchase when on offer and love them enough to buy at the regular price.

The Eat Real chips are delicious – I’ve waited a few years for Waitrose to stock them, having first encountered them on holiday. They look a little like some of the ‘normal’ corn/potato snacks, but they come in subtle flavours – like this one – and are made of hummus, quinoa and other grains.

They are very light in texture, more-ish and not at all greasy. They fit in with several free-from diets, but I eat them because I like them. I do, however, put them in the little Christmas hampers I give some of my gluten-intolerant friends and they are all now equally hooked.

What it is: A light snack made with only seven wholesome ingredients with half of the fat of regular potato chips. Key Ingredients: Chickpea flour, rice, potato starch, cornflour, sea salt, onion powder, and olive oil.

How it looks/smells/tastes: These are seashell shaped with powdery spices on top. These smelled appetizing and tasted incredible. It had so much flavor and I couldn’t help but eat them all. I don’t think it tastes like hummus though.

Why I like it: These were much tastier than the other chips and I really quite enjoyed the texture and flavor of these. I could see buying these for myself just because I like them. I like that I’m putting good nutrition into my body instead of fattening potato chips (still enjoy those once in a while).

Most of the time, I eat salsa and corn chips, so this is a nice alternative for a tasty, healthy, mess-free snack for on the go. I always get hungry in the car it seems!.

These hummus chips are light and delicious. They satisfy salt craving, and have an airy crunch. I really did not think I would like these, but they are really tasty and full of flavor. I am always looking for a healthier option when it comes to snacks, and these quickly became a favorite.

Simply 7 Hummus Chips are gluten-free, non-GMO, no trans fat, no artificial colors or flavors, no preservatives, 50% less fat than potato chips, vegetarian, and kosher. These are definitely a rich snack, and I think they are much better than potato chips in flavor and texture.

First and foremost I love Sabra hummus, it’s been my go to brand for the past 5+ years. I love that they offer so many different flavors and they’re always so good. It was my first time trying the spinach and artichoke hummus and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was a nice switch up from what I normally get which is the original roasted pinenut hummus. I could really taste the spinach and artichoke flavors which paired with the hummus flavor super well. This hummus was super good with veggies like snap peas and carrots and also was really good with crackers and pita chips.

This is a perfect snack as it’s a healthy one and it’s also very filling. I love snacking on Sabra hummus and the spinach artichoke flavor was delicious!.

Overall, it was pretty good, but not something I would repurchase. I would say the flavor was a little lacking, and slightly on the bland side, but that might be good for a wider variety of customers.

I wish that there was a bit more artichoke flavor, or maybe even some garlic, but it’s really not that serious at the end of the day. I tried it with pita chips and thought it made a decent snack but thought it would have been even better in a grilled veggie panini.

My husband agreed and we both prefer the garlic or plain variety over this one.

This was pretty good. I have been buying Sabra hummus for a long time. I usually just get the original kind. I really like spinach artichoke dips so I though I’d like this hummus. But this hummus flavor wasn’t very “spinach artichoke” flavored.

Like couldn’t really distinguish it at all. It’s still tasty as a hummus dip with veggies but I wouldn’t buy it if you’re looking specifically for a spinach artichoke flavor.

I mean, how can you go wrong? It’s hummus which is usually delicious, it has roasted garlic which makes it even more delicious, and it’s from a reputable brand like Sabra so you know it’s bound to at least be delicious even if it might not be the most traditional or authentic recipe.

To be honest I’m not exactly sure how to describe the flavor of this product simply because the flavor of hummus just is… Hummus. You can definitely taste some of the roasted garlic, but if you’re a fan of a strong garlic flavor you might want to chop some garlic and add it in.

It has a smooth consistency, spreads nicely and was relatively affordable. All in all, I’d buy again.

I liked this hummus very much. It is smooth and creamy and has a good flavor for the hummus. I enjoyed the garlic addition but it was very strong and a little bitter. I would have enjoyed the garlic addition more if the garlic were a bit milder –it tasted much more raw than roasted.

It was nice to add that in very small amounts to each bite, but there are other flavors I would prefer (and I usually like garlic the most).

Baby carrots and garlic Hummus are one of the best snacks ever! I don’t eat enough veggies, that’s just a fact. This hummus makes the fresh veggies so much more enjoyable to me. I like a lot of hummus on each bite, but obviously you can choose how much you want and eat it the way you like it best.

Definitely recommend to anyone who likes a savory flavor to add ti their veggies!.

Love this hummus. I got pinenuts but it’s the same as the regular flavor with a little pinenuts on top. It’s as close to me as you can get to homemade. It’s creamy and smooth. Only 2 things I would change.

1. It needs a little bit more salt and it needs more pinenuts. I have eaten the roasted red pepper and roasted garlic before and their all great. This dip goes on everything. Really great combined with garlic dip and zataar bread/chips.

Great product for a snack on the GO or just being at HOME in your cozy spot at Home or Office. I can use daily or weekly. The hummus taste great and light weight, not bad at all. Its NOT overwhelming in your mouth.

The small cracker is small for a snack size. I would have added MORE crackers to the amount of the humus amount in the packaging. The price is not so bad and the quality of product is great. I love how the little satisfy your snack.

I would suggest to friends and family. I can rebuy this product and keep in stock, worth having.

Sabra is a staple in our home when homemade isn’t available. Sabra roasted red pepper hummus is a tasty option and compliments any foods that you eat it with. The roasted red pepper flavor doesn’t overwhelm and, being in the center of the hummus, adds a nice splash of red color to satisfy the eye.

The texture is smooth and creamy. Sabra will always be my family’s first choice in hummus.

The consistency is great; smooth and creamy. It’s a little too much lemon flavor for my taste. It overwhelms the chick pea, tahini and garlic flavors. Makes it a little too tangy. I added some Everything But the Bagel seasoning to lessen the lemon but it still comes through.

It’s not bad. It’s actually pretty good but don’t think I will purchase again.

I’ve been a huge fan of hummus since my grandmother, mother, and aunts have made it since I was a kid. When hummus caught wind om the western market, none of the brands were any good. All had a chemical taste to it.

I came upon Target’s and let me tell you, it’s the closest thing to a win I could suggest. As a single male who lives alone, making homemade hummus isn’t always something I can do, but Target came through with a recovery win.

Target, may I suggest two things for customers like me: recipe needs less citric acid (clean lemon and garlic taste is enough) and much larger containers. Thank you Mikey.

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with hummus as I up my protein. I’ve tried a number of different brands, but I keep coming back to Good & Gather. This hummus has such a bright flavor, and with basic healthful ingredients.

The 18 oz. “family size” container is the right size for one small person, haha. I plan to buy two containers next time I do a Target run, so I can be sure not to run out during the week!.

My 2-year-old loves this home is so much. We do scoop off the whole vegetable part on top but she likes this hummus better than any other. She says it’s so yummy and she eats it everyday. So it’s horrible that all my local Fresno and Clovis targets don’t have it.

I do not know what she is going to do without this main staple in her diet. I feel like it’s an emergency and we need it back!.

Not sure why this has such great reviews. Bought it twice. Both has an okay spice, but smelled and tasted like tuna fish. Very chemically tasting too. Bummer.

I am going through all of the hummus flavors Target offers and picked up the Roasted Artichoke & Spinach last week. It definitely tastes like it and is enjoyable, but compared to the regular hummus not as heavy on the lemon.

If you don’t like your hummus noticeably sour, this is good. I just prefer the original.

All time favorite hummus! I can no longer eat regular chick pea hummus because it just doesn’t compare. Great flavor and a little kick to it if yo eat middle toppings. Unfortunately haven’t seen in the stores for the last month or so.

It has become my favorite hummus. Chickpea hummus just can’t hold a candle to all this deliciousness. You could easily eat the container in one sitting. As one reviewer said it has spice but I wouldn’t say it’s crazy spicy it’s like salsa.

The [brand:sabra] Red Roasted Hummus is a delightful and delicious hummus that is paired with an amazing; what I presume to be a type of roasted “red-pepper” “salsa” that that adds a little something-something to the mix! Maybe a slight tartness, color, varied texture, and chew! When it comes to the hummus it is absolutely, indefinitely unparalleled decadent-creaminess! I tell you! I had this hummus with some pita bread (both slightly-toasted and non) and topped it off with a sprig of cilantro, and I have to say.

it hits all the spots! I did leave it out for a few hours by accident in the container and refrigerated it afterwards but wow did it not lose it’s flavor! I had grown up eating this hummus (it being my favorite variety) and I must say it is still as yummy as I remember! It as a whole (coming to the actual hummus), has a delicious creaminess that I cannot attain with homemade hummus almost no matter how hard I try! It has a slight tartness and right amount of salt that really just pulls it all together! It tastes slightly roasted and leaves a great aftertaste in which makes you coming back for more! So originally going into the store I really wanted the guacamole but my store didn’t have any. However this grab wasn’t a regret! It’s both affordable and delicious. Seeing as my snack along with it would be tortilla ships with a hint of lime, I went with this flavor out of the ones I saw available.

I love that Sabra has fresh of whatever their hummus flavor is going to be, clear for you to see and get a bit of on their product. The roasted red pepper hummus is one of my favorite snacks because it both satisfies my hunger for a snack as well as leaves me feeling like I made a healthy decision.

This plain hummus taste just right. Not too much spice. Please bring this back to the Johnson City, TN, or the Bristol, VA stores. My whole church loves this classic plain hummus. The people that want more spice can add some and the children like it plain.

We were buying 4 to 5 of these big containers a week. We really miss this product. It is a very good product and the size and price are phenomenal.

Actually the price is great and the taste is really good as well. The disappointment for me is with the ingredients. I started buying hummus for a healthier snack option and was disappointed the Member’s Mark brand uses sunflower oil instead of olive oil.

I’d rather pay more and get a product made with traditional ingredients that is a healthier option.

Loved the bulk packaging of this and the price, but they only sell the red pepper version at my store and it’s gross and I just want the original back. Husband doesn’t like the red pepper either and this was a great snack for him since he eats a ton and it’s a great price.

Please bring this back the stores. The single cups are not Enough for parties or family snacking.
