20 Best Veggies For Salad (2022 Updated)

I just love this stuff! I look forward to having a salad so I can crunch all the seeds. I used to be able to buy this product at my local Costco. Apparently, they aren’t going to be carrying it in the winter.

I can’t find it anywhere so I decided to check out the internet. I can’t remember what it cost in Costco but it was a little high, I thought, so I looked at it as a real treat with my salads. The cost buying it here seemed a little higher than what I paid at Costco, but I can’t swear that it is.

It has the seeds I love, pumpkin and sunflower, and a little sweetness with the dried cranberries. UhOh, I just found out that my son has been eating them by the handful. “No”, I told him (he’s an adult) those are for my salads!.

This is one of our favorite products. We normally get it at Costco but Costco is over an hours drive from our remote rural location. So we found a way to buy it on-line and absolutely love it as a salad topper or in addition to many other things.

This is the way to shop as far as Im concerned! Its a great deal with fast, free delivery and good folks to deal with.

Costco used to sell these Salad Toppers, but they. Were only a seasonal product. I was glad to find them on eBay. I use mine in homemade bread.

It was a great product and everything was easy to use. The instructions were clear and it provided me with everything I needed to start my garden!

Due to the pandemic demand, organic lettuce seeds were tricky to find for my 2020 winter planting. My regular sources were sold out. Thankfully, I stumbled upon True Leaf Market and they had exactly what I needed in stock.

The seeds arrived quickly and germinated easily. The lettuce crop thrills both the household vegetarians and the family bunny. I have just planted my second crop and shared a few seeds with a friend.

Possibly, every seed sprouted. It was my first attempt first attempt at micro greens along with radishes, sunflower and peas. They made a few great salads. The lettuce was mild and it grew lush and thick.

I will grow it to baby green size next. Just need to figure out the seeding densities for that. I’m very pleased.

So far so good. Planted the seeds directly and they germinated quickly. Too soon to comment on how they taste as not mature yet.

This is really good!! I soaked the seaweed in cold water for 7 minutes and strained. In a separate bowl I added 3 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, and a dash of garlic powder.

Then I poured the mixture into the seaweed and mixed. The seaweed soaks it up really fast! I’ll definitely buy this again!.

Following the instructions of soaking and straining, this product was so sticky it needed to be rinsed and drained at least three times before any dressing could be added. It was then very nice but the time it took preparing it cancelled out the basic instructions of just soaking for a few minutes then draining.

It was actually horrible to hold to dish up. However I will only deduct one star as it really is a nice product. I do think that the instructions should state that after the initial soaking and straining, the product needs at least three rinses and straining before it is ready to eat.

It is a very tasty product, which my raw-fed dog enjoyed with her evening raw meat and vegetable meal, but even she found it sticky to eat.

Ok I normally like these crunchy corn things in salad but the ones in this particular salad are awful and will ruin the salad! There are plenty of this brand that are good, so move on. Skip this one.

I warn you now! Go ahead…try it-but when you taste some weird musty flavor that makes you throw out the whole thing? Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

This salad is really good. I added some more products from the good & gather line to make a satisfying lunch. If you add seasoned rotisserie chicken and some salad topper (I used the crispy jalapeños – so good!) and some extra romaine.

Can get two big lunches out of it if you prep it that way. A new favorite for sure!!.

I love these delicious salad kits. They are so easy to put together and make meals simpler. The flavor is top notch. I love the bits of corn in each bite. The dressing packet is the perfect amount to coat all the salad.

It is creamy and so flavorful. I eat these salads all the time because they are so delightful!.

my family loves this brand of pickled cauliflower. when it was found in easily in almost every store where we live we brought several cases a month. sadly its become extremely difficult to find anywhere.

it was a nice surprise to be able to purchase a case to have for new years. if you like pickled produces this is something i highly recommend for you to try.

These are a great addition to a charcuterie board. They are spicy, tangy, and crunchy. Just the thing I was looking for. I only wish it came in different sizes.

Just the right flavor but just a touch too hot. Still delicious. Packed and delivered well by the shipper. I will order it again.

Surprisingly wonderful! I’m a homemade everything kind of guy so this was a nice surprise. Potatoes cooked perfectly, sauce has a nice flavor. For a treat I might cook a little bacon for some big chunks but perfectly edible as is.

Buy this unless you like to spend a long time in the kitchen.

Bought this on a whim for a quick side meal. I like it. It has about a 2 year “use by” date. and the whole can is 420 calories. Perfect for my bug-in stash. The only bummer is you need an can opener.

Absolutely delicious. I use this product on sandwiches and also as a side dish by itself. I made a crockpot pork roast using this cabbage, brown gravy mix and the roast. It turned out so yummy!

I never had German salad but thought to give it a try. Omg, absolutely delicious!!! I need to purchase a few cases. 😁

Helps with digestion and taste great at the same time. Hard to find. You are losing money by not stocking this product on your shelves. That becomes a lose/lose for you and your customers.

This salad kit tasted like cabbage. That’s it. Only cabbage. When I poured the dairy-free ranch packet I was worried there would be TOO MUCH dressing—a nice problem to have, better too much than too little—but it really was too little in the end (maybe because it’s so thin) and you don’t really taste it anyway.

The carrots were barely noticeable and the only other flavor was the occasional flaxseed crackers. I didn’t think the crackers tasted very good either though, it was like eating straight flax seeds with no salt or seasoning.

Plus the crackers were pretty hard to bite compared to most salad crunchies (tortilla strips, wonton strips, etc) Disappointing because I was so excited to see a vegan/dairy free salad kit! I tried to fix it with some of my own dressing and add-ins, but it was still overpowered by cabbage.

As someone who has been vegan for years now– this is everything I didn’t know I needed! Hands down the best Vegan Ranch I’ve ever had the Flaxseed Chips are AMAZING! Super quick easy as well! 10/10 would recommend! If the Ranch Flaxseed Chips were sold separately, I would also buy those!.

Ranch? Vegan! Avocado?! Say so more… I loved it! Can’t wait to try it again. Wish my store would stock it again or I’ll have to seek it out at another site!

These are great for sandwiches or a taco night when you just don’t feel like cutting up your own and the usual price difference is like 50 cents. I normally throw my leftovers into a bigger bag of salad or with some spinach.

These make quick meals even quicker. Our local grocer usually has deals on this brand to make them reasonably priced, otherwise, you need to weigh convenience over cost.

This is the best and easiest product to use for family taco nights! I prefer saving time by buying these, rather than chopping up a lettuce head by myself.

This tastes amazing. This will be my go-to for healthy and filling lunch/dinner, add protein. I got the 12 ounce package with the nuts/seeds packet and the dressing. I think the serving size of 100 grams includes those items.

I didn’t put those on mine (I don’t eat dressing) – I just measured out 100 grams of the greens. So I only got 2 servings with a tiny amount left in the package. No big deal – I’ll just do 85 grams like I do with most vegetables ad salads.

Just disappointed that I won’t have enough for lunch tomorrow! Try this mix. It’s really satisfying.

The item itself is great. Picked mine up from the Hoover, AL store order pickup just to try it. Liked it and ordered 6 more bags. Didn’t pay attention to them until I got home. They looked old. The expiration date was 4 days after my pickup but they already looked expired.

old. Thought I was getting a real bargain. Something for pickup on Wednesday expires on Saturday? I don’t know of any bagged salads at any supermarket that expire that quickly.

This is the best salad kit!!! SOOO Delicious!! Quick and easy lunch!! I pick up bags of these all the time, I never get tired of it. One bag is enough for 2 filling lunches. And it is very economical each lunch costs me less than $2!! I will occasionally throw in some fresh fruit like blueberries or some pecans.

I will sometimes even eat for lunch and dinner on the same day. And it is so healthy! I also usually have some extra dressing left in the pack. If you have not had poppy seed dressing it is a sweeter dressing and is very tasty.

taste ok. I not a fan of lettuce but it has nutritional value. It doesn’t taste like water like the icebergs lettuce. This is great for salad and if you want to substitute for tacos. If you are not. Fan of lettuce then you should this one.

Super easy to prepare meals(which is what I like to do). It’s light, crispy and fresh. They have a variety of combinations to fit different types of taste buds. You can mix and match it alot of different ways with a variety of foods,my favorite being chicken Caesar salad but it goes great with anything.

Its that one thing thats always better at a resturant. But with these kits it makes it so salad at home is that good!! Since my boys refuse to eat salad it super simple for me to make for just me as a side or an entire meal.

I just wish the fixings came in a different package. They are hard to keep from making a mess if you dont usd it all right away.

Salads are so expensive in restaurants nowadays. This salad mix is super handy and so good! It includes the cheese, croutons and dressing. I like adding blackened salmon or even a pouch of tuna to it to add protein.

I absolutely love salads I always have my whole family enjoys it. But it can be quite expensive if don’t play it out right. So I always have options ready to go ahead of time. Like celery broccoli shredded carrot with a boiled egg and homemade buttermilk Ranch dressing.

This is great when you’re in a rush and you don’t have time to sit there and chop up lettuce and everything else everything is already done for you! I just open the bag rinse the lettuce throw it in a bowl add some other veggies and maybe some croutons and that’s it! No one will know the difference.

When I purchase Fresh Express lettuce, I grab the flatters packages because they are the freshest IMO. I love adding my fresh veggies from my garden to boost the flavor. I recommend you give it a try.

This product is good as it can get. I do feel that frozen veggies in a bag is healthier than in a can in that (I think) they have less preservatives. On the other hand, they may have freezer burn which takes away from the taste.

Taste better than some store brands. Recommend.

I like how these veges comes in a packet which is in a good quality! Corns, beans, carrots all are raw i only have to boil them for like 5 to 10 minutes and tadahh they are ready to eat! I love their crispiness and how fresh they are.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these! I often spend so much time trying to plan the main part of my meal that I overlook the sides. This is a quick and easy alternative to planning that as well.
