20 Best Vehicle For Apocalypse (2022 Updated)

Bought as gift for my son. Watching him play with something that he plays with on his tablet in person he thought was the neatest thing. Ended up buying other sets as well.

My son loved this toy! We bought an extra one for a birthday gift. My 6 year old has used the truck to play with several other toys. This was a great purchase!

This us my sons second R/C car. First Redcat Gen 7 pro. He wanted something fast he could jump this fits his expectations. Out of the box it would pull wheelies on asphalt. But was well designed that it stayed straight and front wheels would settle back on the ground.

At the park he found a sloped curb that went over a 5 foot embankment, he jumped that at least 12 times. Car landed on the wheels twice. Rest were cartwheels and other horrible looking crashes. Each time it eventually stopped on it wheels and he drove back up the hill to try again.

Only lost a body clip. We’ve had it on graas,asphalt,dirt,loose gravel easily controlable on all surfaces.

Bought 2 Bandits. One for my grandson. We’ve had a blast running these cars together! I was concerned at first because he’s 7 and sure enough, he had a few BAD crashes on the first day. Like head on straight into a concrete curb at full throttle.

The Bandit survived with NO damage. (We did have the aftermarket RPM large front bumper installed). The durability is truly remarkable and its so nice to have cars that spend more time on the road than on the workbench!.

This is my first RC car since 1988 ( Traxxas- the Cat ). I am very happy with this Bandit. Much faster than I expected, good control , battery life isn’t bad. It seems quite rugged. The grandkids seem to aim for solid objects, and no damage so far.

I had several questions once I got the buggy. I wrote to RC superstore and was quite pleased to get quick responses (from the same tech no less!) which solved my issues completely. I recommend the Bandit and the RC superstore.

This set is just bursting with goodness. It’s more than a three in one, more like a 4 or 5 in 1. The truck/trailer is packed with pieces that make very good race car details. Lots of wheels and lots of curved tiles.

They practically give you two of every piece. Now on to the bad: the two racecars are in different positions when laid on top of the trailer. The top one sits flush and almost perfect, but the bottom level was built one plate too high thus the racecar doesn’t sit well and can fall off during transport.

If you have OCD you’re going to have to fix this part Right Away. I took apart the semi but that one detail ruined it as a Lego set for me. Overall, I think this is pretty amazing value considering not only the strong piece count but considering that those pieces are useful for car builders.

If you want to increase your piece collection, this is a good set to do it with. There aren’t any minifigs or big molded pieces, and quite frankly that’s my kind of set. Except for the difference in parking positions, this set is near-perfect.

I didn’t build the crane or tugboat yet so I can’t comment on those builds, but judging just by the pictures they seem okay. As an extra piece I managed to get an extra rubber tire! With the pieces from the truck alone I can make 2-3 cars that are bigger than the ones provided since they give you 18 wheels altogether.

I couldn’t wait for this set to arrive and I would do it again! I believe this set will be underlooked for the lack of minifigs, but honestly, who cares about them when you get tons of extra useful stuff.

I actually would have liked some racing stickers but because of the 3-in-1 aspect I suppose Lego thought we got enough. Go out and buy this set if you agree; I wasn’t disappointed.

I bought this set for my son for Easter. He’s 4 so I assembled them. We chose to make the little cars and the hauler. There was 1 missing piece for the hauler and 6 missing pieces for the little red car.

I was able to find the pieces in our little lego stash but the colors don’t quite match. The instructions are pretty easy to understand. I’ve never built any lego kits like this– until this point we’ve just been free building.

trying to become master builders. The price was right for this to be our first kit build. I will say, little dude was super excited when he saw this set in his Easter basket. It was the first thing he went after– even before candy.

I bought this set of Legos for my 6 year old grandson. He loves anything with trailers and the idea of pulling things. He needed help putting it together but he was able to help by looking at the pictures.

He loves playing with this set. For the price, I feel that getting 3 pieces to the set was a good value. The vehicles move freely and so far nothing has broken. My grandson plays with it often. I bought two sets and therefore will be giving a set to another grandson.

I feel confident that he also will be delighted with this set.

This car is 27 years old with current design and configuration being 10 years. This is a sturdy vehicle that comes with some good extras. As a stock car it will provide hours and hours of fun. I find that this car handles extremely well even while “bashing”.

Runs well on dirt tracks, flat surfaces and in a skate parks ( be careful on high jumps in course). On the negative side this car is fair in grassy surface (do not think it is built for that kind of terrain like most stadium trucks).

Could use a few upgrades to give longer run time and durability ( i. e. heat sink, battery replacement, wheelie bar, front and aluminum shock towers and suspension bars.

So I decided during quarantine for me and my kids to do something different and bought this car from everyone superstore. It said it was for entry level people like myself (note that I am not mechanically minded at all – more of a book smart guy).

We were so excited when we got it. I was impressed by how easy it was to put together and we were driving it in no time. I spent some time getting used to it and was impressed by its speed. And then I let my 9 year try it out.

5 minutes later the front wheel was completely dislocated and the parts on the front were broken. He went full speed (which is super fast) into the wall. At first I was very angry and sad. But then i realized that this is what people do thee hobby car stuff for.

So I went to the rc superstore website and found the part number I needed (took me a couple hours longer trying to figure out from the explicit diagram that the car came with-it’s amazing how many parts they have) So.

I bought the part and emailed the store (they aren’t able to answer phone because of quarantine) with a picture of the wrecked car and the part I ordered. They were extremely helpful and response (tank you Caleb) and were able to tell me that I needed an additional pin.

Parts came three days later and it was super intimidating for someone like me who had NO experience with this stuff. But I came up with a plan. It got a little frustrating on the way because this isn’t the type of thing with directions but my son and I had an amazing sense of accomplishment when we got it to work and now understand how to fix the front of the car.

This car has made me realize that I need a hobby. Thank you Caleb and RC Superstore.

My kid drives this things so hard. off ramps, flips it over Back, front and sideways, wheelies galore, gets it stuck under the shed bending the antenna. Besides some scrapes on the cover, no real damage.

I am a single mom and this is my first real nice RC car, I was nervous it would be complicated, but it was just about ready to go out Right of the box. Just made sure it was charged, read some directions and away way we went.

O. and it was raining. It worked great and so much fun in the rain we just made sure we dried it will well after and took the battery out for the night to let the rest dry. 100 crashes flips twists rain water and no severe problems yeah aside losing those silly hitch (Hood) pins I would suggest being extra.

I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with younger kids who are a little more rough and things!!! My son is six almost 7 and I cannot believe how fast he picked us up I can’t even get it to go straight and he can do 30 over a ramp! Great Product!!.

This game is a hidden gem on the 3ds strictly for adults. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this game for children because it’s a very mature game. I wish more people were into this series because it’s fantastic! This is my favorite so far in the series and the story had me hooked all the way through.

The music is ridiculously good! Plus the demon fusion was AWESOME! The graphics and cutscenes are very well done with the exception of the demon models during battles which look a bit outdated. Figuring out where to go on the map was also a bit of a problem this game does not hold your hand at all.

However, those are really my only gripes with this game. I’d give it an 8. 75/10 definitely pick this one up if you love mature RPGs with great stories and music!.

Let me state that smt iv apocalypse is more of a what if alternate ending to the original shin megami tensei iv. It’s one of those games that makes more sense and has a bit of “i remember that” moments if you played the original.

The gameplay is a major step up from the original and the story while not as dark is still quite enjoyable to go through. The game does have its tough points but i’d say it’s not as tough starting out as the original game is.

This game beats Pokmon out of the water but only if you like a more darkened version of monster capture, story, and battles. It’s also, in my opinion, better than the previous SMT4! It has easy mode features for casuals, and hardcore mode for try hards, but I like the middle ground myself.

Anyways, the people that buy this game probably already know what to expect, I’d think! The series is niche, but I’m thinking the Switch SMT game (if it’s localized for English anyway) will really put SMT on the map soon.

I’m preeety sure this game is a prequel also, based on a certain teaser video shown for the new Switch game, but I won’t spoil anything!.

This was my first set is 5 years that I bought for myself. My wife’s family are big fans of the Fast and Furious franchise, so I got an easy go ahead to buy it when it came out back in April of 2020.

Pros: – It feels like a Dodge. hefty, chunky grumpy looking. – Love the engine and drivetrain. – The front back and side views look great. – Full suspension on the back axle and independent in the front.

-Engine Detail Cons: – Top down view it looks like a black plastic rectangle – Rear suspension is built a little weak for my liking. The way it is built causes some bending near the connection points on the frame when pushed on.

not a deal breaker though. – Interior feels very lacking. For this price point I get it, but at least connect the steering wheel to the actual front axle, not just attached by a connector pin for looks.

– the 2 light grey small angle pieces on each end of the back bumper tend to fall off if bumped the wrong way while moving. Almost lost them in the carpet a few times already. – Front grille outline is a little weak and could be easily made better with less pieces, which would make it stronger and have less cracks reducing the look of many separate pieces.

All in all a great set with some functionality to make it fun to look at and interact with. If you have some parts in your spare parts bin to tweak a few things, it definitely can be a display piece in your collection, and something fun for everyone.

SIDE NOTE: If LEGO ever decides to create this iconic car in the same manner and level of detail as the Ford Mustang from the Creator Expert line, I think it would do quite well.

Got this for myself to help me quit smoking. I’m 47 the instructions are ok to understand I had to look at a few of them a few times and take it apart at times to make it fit the instructions right. I ended up just opening all bags and putting them on my table.

I would suggest just open the bags that are needed per instructions because I had to search the parts several times to find the right parts. Also some of the parts don’t match the colors so on this I think they need to give more of the correct color parts and not make it to where you have to use a different color.

Other then that great build and a good gift if you wanted to gift it.

I have a deep love of the Fast & Furious franchise so when I stumbled on this set I thought it was pretty neat. Not too flashy or gimmicky, can pass for just a nice muscle car build without needing the movie tie in.

Obviously it is not as intricate or detailed as some of the larger and more expensive Technic car models(Porsche, Lambo, Bugatti), but for what you’re paying it’s a pretty decent set. The doors open, working suspension, opening trunk and hood, pistons run, the visible timing chain moves, and hand-of-god steering(the steering wheel is decorative only; steering is done via a knob at the back of the car).

And to top it off the hidden prop under the car that can be raised or lowered to provide the “action” of a wheelie from the first movie is nice for display purposes. The downside is, with all of that packed in and a relatively cheap price tag, some of the details are lacking.

The axles stick out beyond the wheels, which is the same on the door handles. The seat exists solely to say there is a seat. The roll cage and some of the trim representing chrome is awkward. I give credit to the designer for making this happen, but I would have preferred a slightly higher price for a little more attention to detail, or leaving off some of the details you don’t see in order to focus more on the ones you do.

Bottom line it’s a nice set and has a lot of value for what it is, but it is not on par with some of the larger licensed cars.

I have had so many. They are great if you take care of them. You can’t expect it to clean itself. 21 gallons on 1 and still bad a$$

The tuned double chamber pipe will be great on my new 3.3 engine. It is metal and has a polished finish.

I’m very much the wrong side of 35 and, believe it or not, this was my very first Lego set. Before starting the build I did wonder if the Ecto-1 might be a bit complicated for my first set, but those fears were soon allayed when I opened the instructions.

It’s incredibly well laid out, and clearly highlights which pieces you are adding to the build for each step. I found the Technic aspects of the build especially enjoyable; seeing how all of the moving parts of the Ecto-1 work is really fascinating.

The gunner seat is especially cool. What really makes the build shine though is all of the kit on top of the roof. I absolutely love all of the detail that Lego have crammed into that area. Being a kid of the 80s/90s, I decided to not use the rust stickers.

Nothing wrong with them, but I enjoy the cleaner look it produces. A great build to start my Lego collection (which has swollen rather a lot since this purchase).

Dear LEGO, I got this set for myself. I’m an adult collector (AC). Overall the set is nice and pleasant to be assembled. Although it is about time to take care of a few aspects common to many AC sets and this set gives me one of the best opportunities to assemble a few feedback popping up in my mind for a while now.

First, let’s talk about stickers. This set is plenty of “rust stickers” (39! I repeat, thirty-nine!!!). Let’s address this topic from general to specific. General: ACs hate stickers because they are unpleasant to see, and they get rapidly ruined with aging.

So, since we are talking of expensive AC LEGO sets, there is no point in saving a bit on the set’s price (I assume this is the reason) favoring horrible stickers instead of unique printed bricks. Let me be frank and straight; these AC sets are for people that can afford a lot of money for a toy (beautiful, collectible.

but still a toy). It is unfair and unethical (in my opinion) that good/nice things are available only for people that can afford them, but it is what it is, and this is true for all aspects of anyone’s life.

Then, without entering into any philosophical discussion, ACs would be more than happy to pay a bit more for these sets in exchange for no stickers (or at least significantly reducing their number). Com’one LEGO, it is about time to take some concrete action here.

Specific: let’s move into the details of these 39 stickers. We are talking of “rust stickers” to reproduce the aging of the Ecto-1 from the latest movie (2020/2021). I think it is clear — or at least it should — that ACs are buying this set only for one reason: the Ecto-1 from 1984/1989.

No question about it. Therefore, next time, before putting so much effort into 39 stickers, please think twice about where the actual value stands before acting with such an invasive action. Second and last comment, let’s talk about wheels.

Let me start with the basics; the Ecto-1 set is a car, and one essential characteristic of any car is wheels. Why I have to wait until the very last bag to put the wheels on!? It is highly frustrating to wait until the very end of the building.

This is exacerbated by all the excellent gears and tricks that will animate many moving parts due to the spinning of wheels, and I would love to see them in action. Once again, this is an AC set, and I think it is understandable that I’m not going to play with it in my living room once it is built.

Most probably, I will put it on a shelf for display purposes. Therefore, the best — and presumably, the only one — opportunity to see all the gears in action, activated by the wheels, is during the building itself.

So if you really care (as you should) about our building experience, try to follow the simple rule for AC sets: “mechanical/moving parts should be enjoyable also during building, if possible. ” Did I say that after all, I really like this set? This reminded me of the Tyco Rebound from the 90s because it can drive up a wall and flip over, it’s pretty fun to play with. The build was pretty good, not too challenging or too easy. The controls are a little weird because you control the left and right tracks by sliding your left and right fingers up and down, but because it’s a phone screen you don’t have that tactile feedback you would have with a controller with buttons or joysticks.

It’s fun though. I hoped my cat would play with it, but the motors make a high pitched whine that scares him. It uses 6 AA batteries, which is kind of a lot. I got some rechargeables and there is a battery meter in the app, it doesn’t seem to draw a lot of power.

I am a big fan of functional lego sets. Since this was one of the cheapest control plus sets, I decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. The building process was enjoyable and loads of fun afterwards.

The price was not cheap, especially with recent price increases across many of the lego products. However, Mastermind toys had a good sale going on, making the deal that much better. I will keep going back to them for this reason.

It great and there are pro and con: Pro: Easy build and excellent Legos for any that loves tread type vehicles. Con: Not very many rubbers stopper and they only gives you enough to line one side of two treads and if you do zig zag pattern, it works.

The motor and the speed leave a lot to desire, so if you’re expecting it to zip around, don’t, as it barely move fast enough that a turtle can catch it. Also, the app for the R/C leaves a lot to desire, as it often doesn’t register your touch, so it may end up spinning in a circle.

My husband and I love gaming. While staying with my in laws during the snow storm, they asked him to play this game. The story is pretty crazy, yet cool. Love all the building features. Also the comical clothing options had us in hysterics.

I did have to look up a couple things as we didn’t know what they were for. The game play didn’t line up exactly how it was meant to based on some of his decisions. But it has been a lot of fun. I think some of the conversations are too sappy, but that’s me.

I wasn’t sure how this game was going to play out and be any good value wise. I found it for an affordable price after watching a friend play it a year earlier. I got an XBOX ONE system last Christmas and decided to buy this game after playing a few before it.

I have to say it’s my best game in my collection so far and the most fun I’ve had playing a game since the Playstation 2 games I play in my collection. It is an open world roam game where you play as Nick, a mechanic trying to escape a city full of zombies and find survivors to board a plane for freedom.

A time bomb is only giving you a week to find everything and put clues/weapons together in order to complete various missions for survival. It is a great combat style game and it’s fun to put together combo weapons to kill endless zombies.

I bought this edition for the bonus content and was really happy I did over the standard version. You can play as four other characters on missions in the DLC content pack that follow the story around Nick as well.

A must buy for a zombie lover.

I’ve been a fan of Dead Rising since the first one. Great story, missions, characters and scary zombies. Chop till you drop, awesome! Real life zombie fighting. Dead Rising 2 had all the same amazing elements as the first, but it was that much better rescuing survivors and trying to clear your name.

Dead Rising Off the Record, simply brilliant and not as dull as everyone said it was going to be. Dead Rising Case Zero and Case West, amazing little side games to keep me entertained for the next one and now Dead Rising 3, the icing on the cake.

Classic Dead Rising storyline with lots of characters to interact with. More weapons, cool cars to drive and create. A huge city to explore, plenty of things to do. You simply can’t ask for a better game.

Just finished building this set this week. I’ve built all four of the Technic supercars now and this is the most detailed and visually stunning one of the lot. There are no stickers to worry about as all of the parts are printed.

There are a couple of mistakes in the instructions to watch out for, but otherwise a very fulfilling set!.

Instructions dumbed down to point of build being boring. Lots of sections that are easily knocked off. Also several mistakes in instructions and missing steps. Far from the perfection expected from Ferrari and LEGO.

Not worth the RRP.

From the outset this is a stunning Lego set, the packaging, the manual and finished item are just a sight to behold. This won’t disappoint the buyer. Just begs to be displayed once completed (even the box does too).

Lego Technics is the more advanced specialized Legos and this kit was pretty fun to build. If you are a fan of the 80’s style RC car look, you’ll be glad to see this little homage to that era. The actual build was pretty fun, as my kid enjoyed it, and I enjoyed seeing this, as I never really built this type of RC car back in the day myself.

I was happy to see it finally assembled and pretty excited to see it go! 6 batteries and 1 app download later, we started it up and off it went. Pretty fast little bugger too! But sadly, the app is so very bad that it doesn’t control the car very well.

It has one of those elementary virtual joysticks on the app and one stick controls and speed and steering. Why couldn’t they mimic the controls of the 80s as well?? you know, with one controller for the speed and another controller for steering.

Because of the lack of precision, my kid grew frustrated pretty easily and was done with it pretty quickly. I was disappointed because this thing is not cheap. So I took over and. yeaaa. this kinda sucks.

It’s so hard to control that is doesn’t align with the high quality build in this Technics line. The controls seem sooo simple, like what younger kids use for their little tyke-mobiles. This had soo much potential for the coolness and nostalgia factor, but the controls fell completely flat and totally bring this product down.

Sadly, I might just remove the batteries and save them for something else, and put this on the shelf as an expensive toy piece until someone tells me that the app is much better.

This set is a mixed bag. The model itself is solid. The design, size and weight (it’s got some heft once the batteries are added) are great. The one thing I’d like to see improved on the model itself is a better way to handle the wires.

There are two clips provided to hold the wires in place, but it feels like more are needed to organize the wires so they are not just a jumbled mess in the driver’s seat. As others have pointed out, the controls for driving this are hot garbage.

You have to use the app, which is fine. I’d prefer using an Xbox or other Bluetooth controller, but that’s probably asking for too much. But the app has one virtual joystick that handles forward/backwards and turning, which is terrible.

When trying to go forward in a straight line, it’s nearly impossible as you’ll tend to lean towards a side a bit and that makes the car turn. I really hope they update the app and separate foward/backwards from turning.

Also, if the user is using a modern smartphone for controls, tilt controls seem like they would be a no-brainer here. Another small annoyance was that scanning the QR code on the manual prompts you to download the Lego Instructions app, which is great.

except that this model isn’t listed in the app. I purchased it on release day (1/1/2021) and the app listings by year didn’t even go out to 2021.

Overall I am happy with this set. I would give it a 3. 5 rating. I finished it in just under an hour. It was a relatively easy build with a few sections that were more complex than others. I love the 80s color scheme and design of the buggy.

It feels solid and fairly heavy duty giving me confidence that it won’t break during light to moderate use. I bought this more for the nostalgia aspect of it vs. for play value. I will display it more than I will use it.

Improvements could be made in the controls. The app controls are accurate/responsive but a little difficult to control without a physical joystick or steering wheel controller. I realize that would have added to the cost so I understand the reasons for not including one.

I also ask that LEGO update the app to provide more realistic vehicle sounds vs. the weird assortment of duck, f@rt, etc. Engine revving, engine idle, brake squeal, racing “vroom”, more car horns. would be a much better choice in my opinion.

As an adult LEGO builder, thanks for releasing a great product that crosses many age groups. Keep em coming.

GT5 as many will agree is still great to play even after the years ago it was released. I loved it back then and still play it now! With the pocket-change amount you can pick this up for and the many hours (even years) of great gameplay, Id say this game is the best game for the cheapest price.

still great graphics now, nice vehicles (very informative of each too), good tracks and endless playability.

Gran Turismo 5 is a game made to true lovers of the automotive world, and as in previous Gran Turismo, you can participate in various exciting competitions. In Arcade mode, you can choose one of many clues that the game offers, and some of the cars that are available from the start of the game, and the remaining will have to be unlocked.

You can also choose what changes you intend to do for the race, such as changing the number of turns, choose the most appropriate type of tires to the terrain, manual or automatic, etc. In addition, it is also in arcade mode that we have drifting races, where the goal is to score points by skidding, where we try to establish a record time in a given circuit, and even split screen so that we can play with a friend.

There is also a workshop setting, where we can improve significantly the performance of our cars to win a particular event more demanding, Travel Photos nice way where we can take “photos” fantastic quality of our premium car, and in different beautiful places, and Training mode, where we can make Free Practice.

Finally, we have the dealership, used car dealer and where we can buy new cars, to be acquired, it is necessary not only have money for them, as well as having the minimum A-Spec or B-Spec, and the dealer can buy premium car, usually more expensive, and used car dealer, we buy cars Standard, usually cheaper.

Cons: Acceleration is too powerful (had to turn off power start mode), speed wobbles above 40/45, not compatible with 11” tyres, got a flat within the first three days (now use tyre slime), turbo/eco/single/dual modes not explicitly clear which is selected, lcd screen is far too dim to see in the day.

Summary: a very fun scooter but the power delivery has a tendency to come on too strong despite the tweaks and throttle control. It feels a tad dangerous at higher speeds due to the speed wobbles so I would personally recommend something different only based on this.

I really can’t pick many issues with this scooter as I find it comparable in spec and performance to models costing a lot more. It is plenty fast and I would recommend only activating dual mode when already underway as the acceleration is a bit aggressive from very low speeds.

I haven’t experienced any wobbles using a one foot forward one back stance and the main criticism is of the optional seat which is very wobbly due to all the springs and folding hinges. I am very happy with the purchase and the helpful service from scooter hut.

This scooter is fast, fun and a great deal for your money. I have traveled up Glen Canyon CA with this scooter in the everglades with it and everywhere I between. It has held up really well in all conditions.

The only big issue I have is that it weighs 70 lbs. It’s hard getting into my 18 wheeler. I did have a sensor go out on it and Dale stayed on the phone with me a long while until it was fixed.
