20 Best Vehicles For Hunting (2022 Updated)

We bought this seeder to attach to our Yamaha Big Bear. The first weekend we used it, the switch went out. We were already committed to planting several fields and had drummed up a lot help for that weekend, plus our camp is a couple of hours north away from home in the boonies.

My DH had to “make it work” so we didn’t have to hand sow multiple fields. It’s unfortunate because we were super excited about adding a little automation this year. It now works but was a pain to deal with midway through the day when we really needed it to work.

It was brand new out of the box.

Just purchased unit and installation is straight forward. Unit seems to be well constructed but the ATV mounting bracket is poorly engineered. Once installed on ATV rack, the unit wants to rotate downward once loaded with spreading material or due to vibration of traveling across yard.

If your ATV rack will allow you to attach the mounting bracket to upper and lower horizontal rails (4 points) that are ~2″-4″ apart (all of my ATVs or other equipment have a single horizontal rail to attach to) this mounting bracket should be fine.

Otherwise, additional hardware and modifications will be required for this system to work properly. Also, gate control is very low-tech and not easily controlled although with a little experience I can probably manage this better.

I’m actually stuck between and 2 and a 3 rating. The hopper is nice and sturdy however it was not easy to mount. They provide one metal plate to attach to the 4wheeler that had limited options as to where to attach.

I had to cut off sections of my vehicle’s plastic rack to attach and even then had to use chain to keep it from tipping forward when filled. Then the motor does not always run. I have to mess with the plug to get a good connection.

I’ve heard that spot lock is a game changer, but still I couldn’t stomach the price of a new TM when my old original motor guide was still running. I finally pulled the trigger and got an ultrex for the new year.

Install was really easy, I did it myself. I took it the lake to do the pairing and gps setup, and spent about an hour fishing. Wow! I never new a TM could be so nice to use. Point it and walk away. Set spot lock and walk away.

I was fishing and not pinned with one foot on a pedal like normal. In just an hour’s use I am amazed, and now I understand why KVD said this product is one of the biggest advances in the sport of late.

I regret I waited all these years to upgrade.

I bought this in May of 2018. I am getting ready to take it off the boat for the 3rd time to be repaied under warrenty. 1st, was a foot pedal sensor that failed and I could not turn left during a fishing tournament.

2nd time was a control board that failed during another tournament a month ago. This time – when you turned the motor on – it turned hard left and stuck there. Ileft the tournament 2 hours early due to this.

This time I cant turn right and I have a tournament in 7 days. The features are nice, (spot lock and auto pilot) but I would trade all of that for reliability. The motor is hard wired to my boat so – it takes a hour to get it off, and hour to drive to the service center (then wait 2 weeks) and do the reverse.

I caution you, if you have read this far, to consider other options. at the time – it was the best option available and Ihad to have an new motor that day. Now – competition to Minkota is coming up with motors with equal features.

I have concerns about the cost to fix this unit once the warrenty runs out – in addition to the pain of getting it fixed I mention above.

The install wasn’t that bad. Just take your time. The motor is everything I was hoping for and more! The motor is easy to deploy and store and it is super quiet when running. Now I have to patiently wait for the disc and full remote.

I really love the concept of the Backroads Shelter and would like to have given it 5 stars. My concern with the design is the fear of tearing the fabric when opening/closing our sliding side door of a Sprinter van.

Perhaps it works better if a roof rack is used to hold the shelter in place. Or maybe I’m using it wrong. Anyway, to open the door, an object was needed to hold up the side of the fabric so that the door had clearance and wouldn’t catch or scrape the fabric.

I’m going to toy around with it, perhaps try a swim noodle on the roof to given it height. Tried it on the back of the van and opening the doors caused the same problem of rubbing against the material.

Might need tennis balls on the corners of the doors. Everything else about it is wonderful, we will work with it to get it right for our needs. Thank you!.

Sometimes I just need a little shade during the day. The two main poles make it easy to set up and the third pole is used to create a dome. I was able to set it up myself. To attach it to the roof, I used a folding stool because I’m short.

This is so much easier to set up than the tarp systems which usually require two people. The longer sides are nice to stay out of the elements or to use as a tent. I laid out an REI tent footprint to create a tent with a slightly open bottom.

This set up with a bug net, created a great glamping tent in the misty fog.

I purchased a kelty that was very similar to this a couple years ago. I had put it together a couple times but never for a long time. Recently I was out camping and thought I would try it again. I was unable to hammer in the stakes due to being on rock so used 2 five gallon buckets filled with rocks (I’m a rock hound).

The wind came up not that strong, flipped this thing over so it is now sliding uncontrolled on the top of the car. The poles did a major number scratching my van as I contained them to unattach it.

game performance and play is good! it’s more than I would expect from a Nintendo Switch game. Spintires is a polished, professional experience where you can play with truck physics in the mud. You and also choose hardcore mode and play a crane game with loading logs too.

There are no other cars or trucks driving around to speak of, unless you are in multi-player (online or local only, no split screen). The maps may appear large, but smart travel makes most of them pretty short to travel.

My biggest gipes with the game are the relatively low amount of content and the 2 cases in which the games framerate tanks into the teens. Generally, it feels as if the game runs at an unlocked frame-rate, varying from 15-60.

Though, the frame-rate never impacts the gameplay as it is a relaxed game, and 99% of the time, it feels like 30 FPS. If a simulation mud truck game sounds like your thing, this will satisfy.

LOVE this game though it is more of a simulator at times than a game. The mud can be so thick at times that you get stuck and have to pull YOURSELF out with another vehicle. My first suggestion, and it’s a strong suggestion, is that to avoid the frustration that comes with always getting stuck, make an “arcade” difficulty level for those who just want to drive and play casually.

My second suggestion, which goes with my first, is to always offer a grader on each map so I have the option to grade and even GRAVEL the roads. How cool would that be? A road crew! Regardless, great game that with these changes would be the best realistic mudding game ever made.

Great game, not everyone’s cup of tea as alot of people will find it boring I’m sure. Requires patience and you feel a sense of achievement when you complete tasks. The graphics are great but the physics model is the star.

The way the mud and water interact with you is stunning. The attention to detail is obvious, they even model diesel on the surface of the water after you’ve passed through. If that floats your boat, buy it.

My 3 boys just started Legos and love anything vehicles. This toy was a perfect combination of their love and interest! They had so much fun building this set because they couldn’t wait to see it turn into a car transporter.

They worked on it everyday after school for a week. After it was built, they used it to transport their monster trucks and little cars. It was bit challenging for them to build, but only because they are still rather beginners with Legos.

But the end result was so worth the effort for them. As a parent, I really like anything Legos because it encourages teamwork, discipline, following directions ans builds confidence in solving complex matters alone and as a team.

Lego is really smart in creating different themes. This set really piqued their interest and I’m overjoyed. We absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

This is a great Lego truck because it represents a truck that is used to transport cars but it is made out of Legos. The truck comes with a Lego car and couple of Lego figures too. The Lego transport truck can also be used to transport other Lego cars too.

Most Lego cars can fit on the ramp of the truck. You can use this Lego truck to transport almost any car you have that is made out of Legos. The truck seems to be hard to build since it is a complex Lego set, but it is a lot of fun to play once yo finish building.

What will Lego make next in the line of vehicles?.

Interesting vehicles in cool color scheme, with high play value. But as collector I think there is some things to improve. Truck has no proportions(I think is too small, compare to trailer and car) also is lacking exhausts, seat for driver and doors.

The trailer has not enough wheels for its size in my opinion. Connection for trailer is different than in other sets, there is no way to use the trailer with trucks from other sets, I wish there is one system for that like in older sets.

But it’s a modeller whining;-) In general I like the set, I really wish that City line will get finally a train set with car transport car(;-)) to go together with that product.

I love how there is a label sheet for stickers if you want to customize the vehicles. Upon first glance out of the box, my eyes were immediately drawn to the unique wheel (omni wheels) which I have never seen a design quite like that before.

The fact that there are switches on the bottom of each vehicle for outdoor or indoor use is fantastic given the differences in surfaces. The joystick controller allows for more detailed driving of the cars but the two buttons on top of the controller allow for a drifting movement which is very cool! The large fire button on the controllers make a cool laser shooting sound and when a car has been hit a light indicator flashes and the car shakes.

You have the option of playing against multiple cars (7) or you can play alone.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a rack setup for the back of their truck! Super solid build! Super easy to install and it holds the bikes rock solid!! Definitely do not regret my decision to buy this product!.

It does the job and it can be found for half the price of some other options. There are two things I don’t like about the quality of this but aren’t deal breakers. 1) if the mounting width was a couple millimeters wider the fork would slip right on an stay in place allowing the skewer to slide through easily.

As it is I have line up the fork and hold it in place until the skewer fits through. In some mounting applications this would make things very difficult. 2) The base plate is warped upwards on the ends leaving the potential for a wobbly mount.

This probably happens in the welding process. If it was warped down on the ends it would mount much better. Neither one of these issues made this unusable and I will probably be buying another one. They are details to consider depending on your mounting situation.

Mine is just bolted to a 2’x1′ piece of plywood that sits in the back of my SUV.

So I needed a way to haul a couple of fat tire bikes in the pickup bed without them just being tossed in and bouncing around. I didn’t want roof or receiver mounted haulers, but until now nobody was making the right width rack.

Purchase an additional 135mm QR 9mm Skewer to leave in the mount and you’ll look like a Pro at your next group ride. Measurements of the bracket are 5 1/2″ wide X 1 7/8″ tall.

Great game! I am new to Wii but at 63 I wanted to try things that we did not have when I was a child, and in this case I wish we did. I play mostly hunting games and have went through most of Cabela’s hunting games, which I believe are the best.

I am not all the way through “Dangerous Hunts 2011” although I have played hours and hours. I find it very tense at times and even I jump. It is well script and a real challenge. It is the type of game you get caught up in.

If you die, you have to start over from the last check point saved, in which case I have started over many times but I find more bonus doing this and try to remember where they are. I really enjoy playing this game.

I google cheat hints but they don’t seem to help so it is really a game you just have to figure out yourself. I hope Cabela keeps coming out with more of these type of hunting games along with the 2010 and 2012 “Big Game Hunters.

” Buy one, I believe you are in for a challenge if you like more then just a hunting game. I’ve said it before on some of my reviews for games that I have chronic pain and Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 is better than taking my pain meds.

Part two: I did an edit to say that this game is not for children. There are death scenes and the animals kill you if you don’t get them first. When that happens you start over from the last checkpoint.

I also just finished the game. It took me approx. 12 hours to kill the last beast, which I was beginning to think I would never get it. Great game, I’ll be playing it again many times.

The guns are so well designed! The cord is hidden neatly in the magazine and along the bottom of the grip. The back extends out and the scope has a cool color tint to it. It feels built well. The only grip i have was the shooting games we all have use the “B” Button on the controller, which is the “pump action” on this gun.

so its not really usable on our games. so I need to find games that use the “C” button on the Numchuck since that is what is used for the trigger.

The game is a lot of fun in survival mode, classic, and trek. I am not a fan of the story mode because you have to wait for the narrator to finish speaking. It would be better if you could push a button and skip the narration.

Survival mode provides a challenges as you try to stay alive as long as possible by shooting the predators and finding health packs. Classic mode is like a typical hunt where you shoot the male animals but you lose points if you shoot a female.

You are also required to use the correct gun or you lose points. For example, you have to use the shotgun to hunt birds, not the rifle. The trek mode is very fast past, and you get to chose whether you what to go on the right path or the left path.

Grandson first saw this pictured at one of his favorite toy stores during the holidays but it wasn’t in stock. Needless to say, he was crushed that Santa wasn’t able to bring it for Christmas. Later found it in stock at Happy Hen and ordered it for Easter.

Grandson loves it and incorporates the vehicle and figures in play with other Schleich figures. Vehicle was easy to assemble and all parts came together perfectly. Like the details and how well everything is painted.

Everything is sturdy, well constructed and exactly as depicted in posters and on-line. What I like is how much play Grandson gets from this product and how versatile it is in his different make-believe story scenarios.

So cute, my son loved putting the car together and all the little tools that come with it. The fact that the doors open and the gas tank on the car opens was the cherry on top.

Ive bought this for one of my twin grandsons. He was very excited to see it in the brochure and I know he will love it when he opens it on his birthday. Just need to sort his brother out now !!!

First off this is a great turkey choke for beretta /benelli shotguns. People are saying they will not fit there shot guns. Just do some research before you nock this product and you will find out primos does make the choke in the optima and the Mobil choke tubes and yes beretta uses both of these tubes in different shotguns and that is why they work in some and not the others I think Cabela’s is offering the Mobil choke tube model and they should put In description so it would be less confusing.

I am not sure if they just carry the Mobil or if they can get the optima choke tube as well. It’s always best to call if your not sure about which tube to buy. I do know that they do make both models for the beretta / benelli shotguns.

And they do work great in them. I have pattern my beretta with 4 different types of turkey shotgun loads in 5 shot and all my shells shot awesome patterns with the jelly head choke tube. I can even shoot a good pattern at 50 yards which is way more than enough range to kill a turkey! So my suggestion if you want a good turkey choke this is it and also do a little research and find the one that works with your shotgun thanks.

I read some reviews about this choke and wanted to try it. Being that turkey season was in full swing, they were a little hard to find ” on the shelf “. Searching on line, I found a store in my general area that had some in stock the model indicated ” beretta/bennelli”.

After I picked up the choke, I discovered that it would not fit my Beretta extreme II. Now if a guy owns a few different Beretta’s, he might know the difference. I only own the extreme II, and as my x-wife would say ; ” I’m not always a deep thinker ” so did not realize that different models required different chokes.

Like I said, the choke was identified as ” beretta/bennelli “. I did manage to return the choke to the store for a refund. I contacted Primos by email to explain the problem, I also explained that I had wasted 3 hours of my time going to pick up the wrong choke.

I suggested that they should correct their labelling or have their distributors specify which guns their choke will fit. ” Bubba ” from Primos replied, ” yeah we have chokes for the extreme II “. That was it, no ” sorry that you wasted 3 hours of your time.

“. No ” thanks for the suggestion and we’ll look into the problem. ” or anything. My follow up email was a bit more “direct but polite “. It remains unanswered. I realize that Primos has a lot of products on the market.

Seeing their lack of follow up, I’ll be a bit more cautious before trying their other products. Is the ” JellyHead ” a good choke ?. I don’t know, I never got a chance to try it. Now I’m not sure that I’ll bother ordering one for my extreme II.

Tried and true. My daughter took her fourth turkey with a Remington 870 20ga 2 3/4” 4 shot at 32 yards very impressive the pattern this choke holds at that distance. Other chokes I could only pattern to 25 yards for good clean killing patterns Jelly Head patterned well to 35 and could have been farther.

With my daughters closer is always better. Take the time to call them in close even if it takes another day. No better way to spend time than in the woods.

Parent part of review: PROS: easy to unbox, simple instructions, came charged for enough play time to avoid disappointment, car seems durable and well made, remote is well made and simple to use. CONS: the plug to charge the car seems very fragile.

I mean like you unplug it once the wrong way and it won’t work. Considering the size of the car I assume the tiny charger is necessary but I don’t think a child should unplug it. 7/10 from a parents perspective Review from my non neuro typical 3 year olds POV: He LOVES hot wheels.

And I mean loves. He sleeps with them and has some in ever room, corner, pocket, car seat, etc. I wasn’t sure that he would be interested in this but he was so excited. He played with it for 25 minutes before it was time to charge it.

10/10 from his perspective.

Within an hour of unboxing it had stopped working because it got a hair in the wheel that wrapped around one side of the drive axle and prevented one rear drive wheel from running. I think this would be a pretty common problem.

To fix it, you can get a small screwdriver and disassemble the two screws front and back on the underside, and then pop off the motor cover on the back axle. I pulled the axle out, cleared the hair, re-assembled, and all is good again.

The screws and plastic chassis don’t seem to be meant for constant re-assembly, so it might be something you can only do once or twice before the screws strip out the plastic casing. It would be nice if one hair didn’t render this car unusable.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis game won’t blow anyone’s mind. The graphics are pretty so-so, the gameplay is slow, the scoring system is faulty at best. That said, this is still one of my most-played games of the year.

For what it is (an on the go hunting game) it is a lot of fun. It is far and away the best hunting game thus far on Switch. It has internal achievements to keep you playing, if you are the type of person who likes goals, but it is also free form enough to allow a person to just get in and play as they want.

Personally, I would not play this on a switch lite because of the attached controller. I have killed joycon sticks with sprint (left stick clicks) on other games before, so I keep this reserved to my system where I can replace Joycons.

This game has a lot working against it, but it also has a lot going for it including my favorite weapon system in a hunting game (choose the weapon, then choose the caliber from a range available in that weapon), tons of replayability, and a good hunting experience.

It works well on the switch as the ability to pick it up and put it down helps extend hunts and make them more successful. If you are looking for a hunting game on switch, get this. It’s slow, and has some issues, but it is well worth the monetary and time investment.

I played this game about 10 times and never was able to find a track or call in an animal. Some people might like it because it’s very realistic when it comes to walking in the woods all day but not me.

I like video games to be somewhat unrealistic and ones likes this to be family friendly.

Graphics look great for a ps4 game but can’t wait for them to make a Ps5 version :).

I went with this bike because of the 11 speed option along with the middrive motor. Most people dont realize the massive torque different between a mid drive and hub drive. The 750W mid drive motor not only has more torque out of the gate, now it has 11 speeds to leverage the power of the motor! The hub style motors can only just use the power to spin the wheel and dont have any ability to use gearing.

So……if you want enough power to get the job done and have good control this is a great option. If your cruising on completely flat ground and dont need torque or speeds there are cheaper options out there.

Good price on this bike and the bike is awesome. I read a lot of reviews on ebikes and shopped for quite awhile. I decided on this bike because of the 1000 watt motor and the 21amp hour battery. Plenty of power and range.

I decided to buy it from sportsman’s guide because it was the best price I could find. Shipping was pretty quick also. I’ve taken the bike out on 3 occasions and it has handled the hills and roads with ease.

You won’t be disappointed.

I plan to use my bike hunting mostly deer. I also plan to use the bike for pleasure rides with my wife. This is a great bike. I rode my bike for 50 miles so far and enjoyed every mile. I hunted with the bike twice so far; was pleased with its performance especially using the trailer carrying my pack.

The only disappointment is the clicking noise it makes going forward. I emailed the company thinking something was not adjusted correctly in the brake caliber and rotor area. Their reply was the clicking was normal.

If you want to be completely silent I suggest you see if other models are quite.

I have used this pack over two hunting seasons now and several summer backpacking trips in CO. I like the pack, it is durable, works well for hauling meat. Although I have the same issue as another reviewer.

The waist belt gradually slips down my hips under heavy load and requires readjustment. But my working assumption is this is due to my body type, slender without prominent hips, as I have this issue with other packs as well.

Something to consider but your mileage may vary. Overall, I find the top pocket useful but a little strange, with the very long straps running from near the bottom of the pack holding it in place. Any loose items can also slide around in it, making noise, and need to be combined into separate smaller pouches anyway.

I would appreciate an optional flap to replace it for keeping off precip when I want to go without the lid, which is frequent, especially on early season bow backpacking hunts or day hunts. Overall the biggest issue I am running into, apart from the hip belt not staying in place, is that the fabric of the pack is EXTREMELY loud going through brush.

I have managed to make this work in CO, but I would not hunt with the pack back in AR where I used to deer hunt, and no telling how many deer and elk in CO have heard me from a long way off and slipped away.

This is also generally problematic for the frame, even if a separate pack were attached, as the shoulder straps and hip belt are made from the same material. For this reason, I am giving this pack 3 stars, because this is supposed to be a pack specifically designed for hunters and hunters need to be quiet in the woods.

Perhaps this could be resolved to some extent by offering a separate pack of quieter material and covers for the straps? Its not a bad pack for western hunting, but I would not hesitate to tell folks to look around for other options.

I purchased this Mystery Ranch Metcalf sz Lg according to the sizing chart measurements and was surprised how much adjustability there is. I was able to fit it pretty easily. I had to adjust it once I added weight.

It is pretty comfortable all around with or without weight. It is very well built and looks like it will last many seasons. Pros: It breaks down to the load shelf easily and doesn’t have pockets everywhere, very simple design.

The velco strap rolls keep the straps from hanging everywhere. It’s actually not that heavy as everyone says it’s 5. 8lbs. Very easy to adjust everything. Cons: I gave 4 stars because I believe it could use some improvements.

The lid is awkward as it doesn’t really cover the top it just rests over the back. The top opening needs a buckle and roll( it has two drawstrings) so it just doesn’t seem like any thought was put into that.

I just roll it and cover with the lid. The back padding is one solid piece and doesn’t allow ventilation so your back sweats a lot more. Finally this is a tiny issue but I bought the “backstrap” load carrier and to remove the pack to install you have to take apart two straps that easily could have been two buckles so when your hands are trashed from cutting an animal you have to mess with these tiny straps(maybe I’ll replace them with buckles).

All in all the pack feels great under load and is heavy duty built, easy to get to everything and can be adjusted to fit anyone. My son ended up buying one as well. It’s a great price as I got it on sale and added a zoid bag, a rain cover, bladder and belt pouch and still stayed under $500.

I purchased the Quiet Kat Warrior 1000w in the Charcoal color from the Cabelas in Lacey, WA. These bikes were designed for traveling to hunting areas, carrying deer and various game on a trailer sold separately.

However, it serves as a great trail bike on paved and unimproved services. I enjoyed speaking with Laura, a Cabelas sales rep. The ebike was fully assembled at the store and the Cabelas staff in Lacey were great helping me load it.

When I arrived home, The throttle controls were easy to learn. I inflated the 26″ fat tires to approximately 27 psi (The max is 30 psi) and took my Warrior for a test ride. This bike will move! My top speed was 29 mph.

The display says the top speed is 32 mph, but rider’s weight, road conditons, and other factors would affect speed. The medium frame was the best option for me. I am 5’10” with a heavy build. I would recommend this ebike to anyone looking for a durable and powerful workhorse to take off the beaten path in the mountains or taking a Sunday afternoon ride on your favorite trail.

Power modes are 1 to 5. The battery will drain fast on level 5. I think level 3 is ideal for a steady ride and preserving battery life. Level 5 brings this beast to life. It is hard to avoid if you love speed.

I don’t want to be that guy that leaves a negative review, but i think that if you are a larger rider considering one of these bikes you should read this before purchasing. I’m going to save you the hassle.

I hope someone reads this review from Quietkat and actually does something to change the way these problems are handled. Ive made calls and emails and no one responded. Too busy selling bikes. These are expensive bikes.

probably the most expensive ones on the market. Everyone’s experiences are different, some people may have had not had any issues, mine has been negative/expensive experience all around. I am an avid outdoor person.

I ride mountain bike trails in Indiana every day. They are bunny slopes in comparison to where these bikes are tested in Eagle Colorado. I am a larger rider at 6’8′ 320lbs. I decided that i wanted to add a e-bike to my garage to use on upcoming hunts out west going farther on my mountain biking adventures.

I researched each model made phone calls to the competitors of Quietkat. Rungu and Backou said none of the bikes would work for me and recommended i go to Quitkat due to my size. I called and told the Quietkat salesperson what i was looking for and my size and without hesitation he said Apex 10 is what i needed.

I ordered everything. Vehicle charger, bigger battery, bags, trailer, mounts everything. (Still haven’t gotten all of my order and i purchased in April 2022 and it is now middle of September still no response).

I ordered the Apex 10. Felt like i get a great deal they give me a discount. I get the bike home the next week. Arrives packaged perfectly no damage no issues. Super easy to put together. First ride I am impressed.

Front shocks are very smooth. Brakes work great. Climbs hills with ease. Seat completely fails. No worries most riders are more than 100lbs less than I am i expected to have to replace. I replace with upgraded seat, grips, and dropper post.

I ride it a couple times a week to figure out what it can and cant do. I’m interested in buying a second one because i absolutely love riding this thing. 50 miles into trail riding this bike the rear hub completely fail under normal riding conditions to boot.

I put a ticket in online. I call and they promptly set me up with a replacement wheel. Warranty people are very polite helpful on phone. Wheel arrives two weeks later to a local bike shop that is an approved Quietkat repair facility.

This is where it all goes downhill. The Wheel is completely wrong 2″ smaller than what i needed. I called Quietkat back said they would package up a new wheel and send me the correct one. Two days go by no update on shipment.

Two weeks later the bike shop gets the correct wheel. I ride the new wheel for two weeks, and the front fork begins to travel in the wrong directions completely failing internally, the front wheel hub begins popping.

Take to the bike shop again. I call quietkat yes we have had problems with several of these forks we will get you a new one. Nothing moves again. I call they say they will call me back, no return calls.

Warranty person i deal with goes on vacation. one week turns into two, two into three. I send emails to the sales person i bought bike through no response, warranty person i have been dealing with no response.

I had a warranty person mock me on phone completely unprofessional at week 2. At this point i am fed up that i spent 8k for a bike that i have had to completely rebuild and after 3 weeks they send me a fork for a different bike (not the same one that’s on it) and the correct wheel.

Fork Travel is different from the original bike. The response i got was we build 25 bikes per day and don’t have time to source parts. It wasn’t until i threatened to take them to small claims court for this lemon that i actually got a call back on the third week.

They overnighted that time. Again i get a different fork that what came with the bike but they get the front wheel right this time. There is a lot of good things about the bike, It has a sturdy frame, brakes work great, battery has great life, plenty of power from the mid drive motor.

Screen and controls work great. Internal wiring looks sturdy. Its all completely worthless if the drive train wont hold together. To me this should be the foundation of their bike as much as the frame.

None of the parts cross reference with anything in the bicycle industry for the wheels/fork so you cant repair these parts you have to order from quietkat. If you break this bike, you have to get parts in time for a trip, forget about taking that bike you wont get parts in time.

Parts takes week(s) if your lucky to get the right parts on time. My APEX 10 has spent all summer in the bike shop i have less than 150 miles of riding on it. Great investment to have to rebuild the entire drive-train.

Next problem im sure to have is the cassette or chain/ring so im sure ill have more BS to deal with im positive. To hopefully salvage this bike and actually be able to use it without falling apart every 5 min.

I made the decision to replace the factory wheels, hubs, and forks to versions that i can readily get parts for and service that are e bike rated and more robust for what i want to do with it. Just ride it.

I still don’t have it back. Sure it will void warranty. Their warranty is completely useless in my opinion because they cant send you the correct parts to fix your problem. Ive dealt with this all summer.

I don’t have any more energy to deal with Quietkat and this bike. Drag it out long enough like they do your warranty will expire before they get your problem fixed. Although their media, sales is top notch pictures are great.

All the pros on TV that has one say they are revolutionary technology. Quietkat service/warranty doesn’t know what parts go to what bike, and forget about getting anything quickly. I’m disappointed that i spent 8k on a bike that they said would hold up under my size and has completely failed.

Spend 8k on a bike an you get treated like you bought a huffy. Warranty/sales people tell you only what you want to hear. If you buy one based on my experience you can know what your getting. Buy a used one and take wheels fork, seat, bars off of it immediately because they aren’t gonna last you when you go out west.
