16 Best Vehicles For Seniors (2022 Updated)

This is one of the odder reviews I will have ever written. I waffled back and forth on what star rating to give this device. The problem is that it is well built, but for most people it is redundant.

THE GOOD: The microphones on the device work very well, assuming that you point them into the vehicle cabin. Most Alexa functions work without having to open the app on your phone. THE REDUNDANT: There are two things that make this device redundant.

The first is that most recent vehicles support Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Even if they don’t support those two technologies, most of the time they do support bluetooth pairing with your phone giving you a way to activate whatever voice assistant your phone uses by touching a button on the stearing wheel.

And finally, even if your car stereo doesn’t support bluetooth pairing you can still call a voice assistant by setting your phone to be operated hands free. If you specifically want Alexa you just download the Alexa app and open it when you get in your car.

THE BAD: The only bad is that it is redundant for recent vehicles. I do see a possible use for this device. If you have an older vehicle that did not come with a bluetooth enabled stereo system, this would be a very useful device.

The microphone quality will likely be superior to aftermarket cabin mics or bluetooth phone interfaces. For that reason, I am keeping this for a future used vehicle.

I got this after looking for easy options to connect my phone to the car via bluetooth since my 2009 Honda doesn’t have bluetooth capability. Prior to this, I was using an Aux cable that worked well until the cable developed a short and then would only play on speakers on one side of the car.

I wanted to eliminate the cable so I looked at bluetooth receiver options and happened to stumble across this Echo Auto while browsing in the store. The cost of this device isn’t that much more than the better bluetooth adapter options so I decided to give this a try.

I’m glad I did because this device hasn’t disappointed. Even when playing music loud, the device can hear me when I give a voice command. The vent stand that comes with the device would work fine but I didn’t want mine blocking the vent so I attached a magnet to the dashboard under my steering wheel so it would be out of the way and so the 2 cables wouldn’t be as noticeable.

Playing games with Alexa via this device helps pass the time while driving around town when I’m not in the mood for listening to music and I really enjoy asking what happened this day in history and getting to learn something while I’m otherwise occupied.

Now I want one in our other car that has bluetooth capability just to bring Alexa along. The only minor issue I have is that when I’m trying to give a command right after leaving the house it takes a short drive before my phone drops my home wifi connection and shifts to a cellular connection.

But this really is a very minor issue and is more of a problem for the phone than it is for the Echo Auto.

If you have android auto, apple CarPlay, Alexa built in or any of the newer center console software you don’t need this. However if you have an older car or a car with crappy center console software you should get this! For $20 on sale it acts like a remote for your phone.

Your phone needs bluetooth and data to connect this. From there you can pair it with Alexa app. It may seem like a chore to get get the app open and connected via bluetooth but the fact is this is like a voice remote for your phone.

The Alexa app connects to your podcast, music and map services and then relays. Bluetooth on it’s own doesn’t provide fast enough data speed for this device to act like a standalone echo device.

I received the Bluey Heeler 4WD Family Vehicle for my 4-year-old daughter. She loves the Bluey series and watches it a lot so she was excited to get this little set. The Bluey Heeler 4WD Family Vehicle comes with one bandit figure, the vehicle, two surfboards, roof rack and sticker sheet.

I like how the surfboards are compatible with all of the Bluey figures and sits perfectly on the roof rack. The car is well-made and the roof opens up so you can put four figurines inside. My daughter has also had fun decorating her car with the included sticker sheet.

The included figurine is cute and I like how the arms can move! If your child likes the Bluey series then they will definitely like this Bluey Heeler 4WD Family Vehicle set.

Ok, so just opened up this set and all I can say is WOW! First of all, the Shipping Container this set comes in is awesome! I absolutely love that I can easily remove the cars for display. Then I can place them back in the container for safe storage.

The quality of this set, like other Car Culture sets does not disappoint. This set contains 5 cars. The 1969 Chevelle in beautiful Orange and Black racing stripes. The 717hp Dodge Charger Hellcat Wide Body and Green with Black accents.

The Ford Racing Bronco R in light Blue with full race livery. The Corvette C8-R Le Mans Race Car in Red, White and Blue livery. And the highly anticipated Tesla Roadster. The Roadster comes in a Silver and Black accent paint scheme.

All cars are highly detailed with all headlights, turn signals, side markers and Company logos clearly defined. All cars come with rubber tires for that realistic affect. If you have the opportunity, grab this set as soon as you can as it’s sure to become a highly sought after Collectible.

My 7 year old likes playing with Hot Wheels. He likes to set up his Hot Wheels like he has a store. These Hot Wheels cars are made very well, and we really liked the case they came in which was also made very well.

It’s a cool case to keep the cars. My 7 year old lost interest in these Hot Wheels cars, but my 18 year old son who is an avid Hot Wheels collector was really interested in this set. My 7 year old ended up giving it to him where my 18 year proudly displays them in a case.

While I wouldn’t get the Hot Wheels Premium Car Culture American Scene Vehicles for a young child as a toy, this is perfect for an avid Hot Wheels collector or for someone who is just starting a Hot Wheels collection.

This is a great Hot Wheel set for kids. It came in a surprising handy holder, easy to travel with. The details are very accurate to the actual car. The cars are well made with actual rubber wheels. The paint job is high quality.

The cars are mostly metal so it is slightly heavy. But it can still go on the Hot Wheel tracks. The selections are great and keep my kids entertained for hours. After my kids are done with their Hot Wheel cars, they put it back in the case where they belong.

This set will make a great gift for both boys and girls. It will last for many years to come.

If there’s one type of toy my boys like its dinosaurs. If it includes a vehicle it’s a new all time favorite guaranteed!! There’s so many positives about this toy its hard to start. First, the clamp that holds the dino isnt flimsy so I dont have to worry about it the dino falling out accidentally time soon.

You can change its loction to different spots on the truck along with the dart gun. Pieces of the truck fall off when the dino hits certain triggers. They firmly snap back into place when you’re ready to start the dino attack all over again.

It’s a VERY sturdy and well made toy!! Probably the best part is it has scan points on the dino and the truck to use in their app. The app has a virtual reality game that used with the truck really enhances the experience to an all new level!!! Mattel really outdid themselves with this one!.

I must admit this playset is so much fun. I have children of different ages enjoy playing with this set. You get an off road vehicle that has several things that can be popped off and the vehicle has a crain thay holds rhe dinosaur thats included with.

The front of the vehicle can pop off and if you own some smallwr figures you can sit them in there like they are driving. My kiddos love playing with this set and woumd recommend it. The dinosaur it comes with has moveable arms and legs and you can open and close its mouth.

It fits perfect in the crane and the crane can be moved around and the dinosaur can be placed in the back of the vehicle. My kiddos olay woth this daily.

This toy is so fun! My kids play with this all the time. The truck is a perfect size. It comes with a good size dinosaur. If you pretend to smash the dinosaur into the vehicle the pieces pop off. My kids think that is hysterical.

The only thing that would make this better would be to have a driver of the vehicle. My kids like to chain the dinosaur in the back of the vehicle. Capturing it is their favored part. This would make a great gift for a child who loves vehicles or dinosaurs.

I would definitely recommend it. My kids had fun playing with this for a very long period of time, which I love!.

We love this sweet pink car! My little girl (15 months) loves rolling it around on the floor. The shape fits her hands really well. Plus it rolls great and smooth on the floor. It has not scuffed the floors either! It is also a fun color!.

My 1y old son loves to play with this car. Toy is safe to play and is easy to grab and pull or push on the floor because has handle on the top. Perfect toy for toddler.

I wish I bought this earlier for my son. He absolutely loves this toy. Its a great size and fits in his little hands perfectly!

I’ve used rotary polishers before, and of course if you are careful to move them back and forth quickly as you go you can get excellent results. However I have frequently lost the rythm or pressed to hard a left a nasty swirl that takes ages to get rid of.

This attachment oscillates rapidly back and forth as it rotates, which allows you to hold the drill steady and move gradually across the surface without leaving swirls or uneven areas. It fits into the drill chuck so that you have one hand on the drill’s trigger and the other on the attachment handle.

The bearings are very low friction so there is little effort to stop it spinning, and the weight is moderate so not too tiring to use provided your drill is lightweight. It feels unwieldy to begin with but you get used to it.

A short, compact drill is easier but I found my little 10. 8V Bosh didn’t have the power and I ended up using a small mains-powered drill. The Meguiar’s pads are good quality and after five hours use with rubbing compound the pad shows no sign of wear.

There are different pads available for rubbing, polish and wax and the compounds seem to be good quality, if a little expensive. I’m not sure if there’s any difference in the material of the pads but they are different colours, so I suppose that helps you to not mix up your rubbing and waxing pads! The pads are about 9cm across so it takes a while to cover a panel, they fit with velcro so it may be possible to use a larger pad if your drill is up to it but I don’t think Meguiar’s make one.

The attachment feels solid and well engineered; good quality. At the time I bought it halfords was the best price I could find (three score) and with a 3 for 2 offer I got a couple of extra pads as well, so top marks for value.

The system is great, the only issue I had was that the yellow foam polishing pad that came with the unit, detached itself from the velcro after just 5 minutes. Its quite expensive to buy the replacement pads, so this has left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Is there anyway i could get the yellow foam pad replaced?.

Meguiars DA polisher is a handy bit of kit. Saves a lot of elbow grease & more importantantly saves time. I was I bit worried about the Meguiars ultimate compound & compounding pad(available seperatly) cutting though the clear coat, but it did not.

To cut though clear coat you would have to hold in the same place for 20mins or more. So good for beginners to use. After using the 4 stages (meguiars clay bar, compound, polish then wax) the car (15 year old paint) came up looking like brand new paint.

I used a drill with no load speed of 2900RPM & works great. Only issue I have is that you have to buy the 4 stages mentioned above separately, not available as a kit in one box!.

I have severe arthritis, and several joints locked up causing me to lose mobility. Its become harder to move my legs back and forth from brake to gas, so I began looking for options. Having a permanent system installed was a choice, but time consuming and expensive.

The Freedom Staff solved both problems. It’s portable, easy to install, and the learning curve is quick. I’m so glad I made this purchase. the only one that’s been a true life changer.

I read some reviews from previous buyers who complained about bird’s nests in the wire rope on the drum causing some jamming of the spool against the winch case. Some buyers suggested cutting some of the wire rope off to shorten it and help prevent such problems.

I used it once (so far) and found that if you keep an eye on how it is spooling as you bring the load in you can pretty well move the winch sideways (if and when it raises up off the ground) as it is spooling and carefully use a gloved hand to help guide it onto the drum to distribute the wraps more evenly across the drum.

In the future I will most likely be yarding logs a fair amount of distance so I am not in favor of cutting off any wire just yet.

The handle swings from console, it does not stay stable, causes some error when excelerating and breaking. Have to be careful. It will work in a pinch but for permanent usage I think we will have hand controls installed instead.

We’ve had our wiggle car for several years (a pink one for my daughter) and it got lots of use. The neighbor kids must have noticed because shortly after they all got one too. The smaller kids don’t actually use it as a “wiggle” car, they prefer to push with their feet and get some speed.

But for the casual user (me), sitting on a wiggle car and wiggling down the cul-de-sac was kind of fun. The car is made well and holds up to heavy weights and constant use. Unfortunately they don’t necessarily hold up to being run over by a car.

Our neighbor backed over it one day and broke one of the rear wheels. So our now-three-wheeled wiggle car is hanging in the garage until I decide to buy a replacement wheel. All in all, I would recommend this as a fun alternative to big wheels and tricycles (not that I ride those anymore).

I think they are past their prime (from an interest standpoint), but still fun.

My wife brought home the red wiggle car (we’re Utah fans) for my little boy and he absolutely loves it! There are lots of kids in the neighborhood that have wiggle cars and they like to ride them around constantly.

It looked like so much fun that I rode my son’s when I thought no one was watching. It was a blast until my wife busted me and informed me that the weight limit was 150lbs and I definitely exceeded that.

My only wish for this product is that Lifetime would come out with one for fat guys! I’ve got to give credit for a quality product though, because the wiggle car held up even with 250 lbs on it!.

I purchased this for my son for Christmas after seeing the wiggle car at an indoor bounce/play house. It has given my five year old and my 10 year old hours of fun, they use it EVERY single day. They use it so much, that I bought a second one and now they race through the kitchen and living room and down the sidewalk.

Such a simple concept of an item, keeps the kids active and happy. Very happy with this purchase.

Got these for a hot wheels crash track my daughter got for Christmas, knowing it was a random set (vs what is shown in the picture). Ended up with the “City Vs Toxic creatures” set. One car was too wide to use on the track – the rest were ok.

One was an alligator car which was pretty cool and went the fastest on the track. However, in less than a week, two cars had a wheel that broke off (and one car was the one that was too wide to use on the track).

It’s a great price for 5 cars, but I guess you get what you pay for? I debated for a while about whether to get this set vs others out there so hope this review will help others! Disclaimer: I am not an expert with hot wheels cars so don’t have much to compare to.

All I know is the car that came with the track crash set and the two other ones I purchased individually are holding up great so far.

our boy LOVES hot wheels. had 50 of them. so for his 5th birthday we got him some more. he has a special basket he keeps them in and you better not touch them lol. it’s all he plays with anymore. boy was he happy.

it’s a great deal. 5 in a pack for less than $5 and it brings hours of joy. there’s a wasp car where the windows open outward and makes wings!! hot wheels is on its way up! plus they’re still made of super sturdy metal as they always have been.

Easy to get going, works great on small trucks, SUVs, and cars. We do a lot of side work and this portable lift has made it so much easier to accomplish small tasks like oil changes and tire rotations.

We’ve used it to replace a rear axle and it was a life saver – so much more efficient than jack stands and a floor jack. If you’re going to port it around, definitely get a milk crate or bin to put the accessories/parts in to make transport easier.

Highly recommended.

would give more stars but was missing parts like the SHRADER VALVE X2 AND ALL GREASE FITTINGS I had to buy. I called the manufacture which went to voicemail so I left a message. and havent heard back.

so I went to the local hardware store and got them my self got it working. overall Allows me to work under the center of vehicles even if my floors are broken up and uneven. easy to store. I would recommend having one.

just check the boxes before you leave.

Got this to help my 96 year old Dad get in & out of my car. Works better than I could have imagined. Not flimsy & easily supports my 160 lbs. No installation or parts to loose. Nothing to lock in place.

Ready to go as is. BONUS: doubles as a window breaker in the case of being trapped in the car. Also has a seat belt cutter hidden in the handle for the same reason. I recommend this product 100%.

Assists even a heavier person from exiting a vehicle. Can apply both downward and pulling/pushing pressure. Handy and portable. Good for knee injuries or cane users.

I chose this circular standing assistance device over the straight kind because I felt that the circular kind would provide more gripping options. My husband is able to use this to pull himself up from sitting in his wheelchair to a standing position.

He also uses it when he is getting out of the car to steady his balance before reaching with the other hand for his rollator or wheelchair. We use this with both of our vehicles: 2005 Honda Element, and 2006 Lexus RX330.

This gps has more functions than most at an affordable price. I’ve used them all Garmin, Magellan and TomTom with each one having it’s own problems that made a trip difficult. Maybe I just was unlucky, but I still kept trying.

Finally I hit on the Rand Mcnally Road Explorer 60. I love the unit because it has more functions than most. I can use the online mapping utility to make my trip, then connect my GPS to the pc and download the trip.

If I want to add stops along the way, I can do that dynamically. The unit will then recalculate for the optimum time for all trips and give me a new arrival time. I can also track up to three trips with the built in dashboard; that allows me to see, much like a car trip odometer, three different trips.

I can record changes to their maps while I’m on a trip and then when I get home, upload them to Rand Mcnally for incorporating in the next release of maps. In short I love my GPS and would not give it up for another brand.

What would make it better? It would be so much better if the voice knew right from left! I mean it is a computer, right? Should come with shade for screen so at least you can see how bad the directions are.

Shortest route is not the shortest and fastest route is not the fastest. Rand McNally does make a good paper map though! But then they have had over 100 years to perfect that. Will it take another 100 before they listen to what people say about the GPS problems?.

Excellent. This Rand McNally GPS is 2″ larger than the last one I had. The cost was pretty good for my needs and shipping was very good, arriving at my home a few days earlier than the expected date.

It takes a bit of time to learn the newest features, but having the Road Explorer 5 last time helped me a lot. This is the Road Explorer 7 and I am enjoying adding my favorite places into the address book.

I put many places in it by category, such as groceries, restaurants, libraries and also can divide up needed places in category by the town or city name, so they are easy for me to find them in my address book.

Happy traveling! The large screen with streets and highways easy to see make for feeling safe while I drive.

My boy loved this car. Assembly was very straightforward, no special tools are required. Overall very good built quality. Exterior are very close to the original car. Boy loved the sound of car. Battery lasted for few days.

Remote Control and bluetooth audio feature are very convenient.

This really wasn’t that difficult to put together. It came in one large box. The pieces were all included (nothing missing!) and the instructions were clear enough for me to understand. The whole thing is made a nice strong plastic that looks and feels like it will last several years – at least till my little man is too big for it! He loves to ride in it!! It goes at a nice speed for him, and it’s not too fast for me to just walk beside him.

The 2018 EW-36 is an excellent scooter, capable of long runs with strong battery charge, and high speed for fun. Its very maneuverable and easy to steer. Braking is fantastic! It has great off-road capability on lawns, parks, gravel roads.

My 2018 model has wide tires and fabulous acceleration! I am very impressed by this product, its utility and fun! This was the perfect purchase for me. The seating is very comfortable and secure, with armrests on both sides.

The headlight is good for night driving. People comment on the styling and good looks of the machine. I can make it to the grocery and discount stores, auto-parts store, dry cleaner and others. I mostly use it for pleasure driving, to the park and out along the trails.

I can get closer to nature than in my car – feel the breeze and smell the different vegetation as I drive along. I am surprised at how well it handles going over bumps and across branches on the path.

I even got the machine airborne accidentally over broken pavement at high speed that created a ramp up and then an immediate drop of about 8″ (I don’t recommend doing this) – it landed fine with complete control and no damage, but I won’t do that again! Darrell at MedMart was excellent to work with, I got exactly the machine I wanted and his service after the sale was terrific! This is a top-notch company! When you receive your machine, take your time learning how to ride: * Your first trial runs should leave you with half the battery or more, as you learn how far you can go on a charge.

Then gradually extend your range on subsequent runs as you watch the battery charge indicator. * I use the speed limiting dial to limit my top speed to about 16MPH, in the idea that will extend the driving range.

16MPH feels plenty fast and fun, but my EW-36 will reach a bit above the specified 18MPH, at 19-20MPH. * Take some time to learn how the strong braking works, and how the machine turns. I have never come close to feeling uneasy on the corners, but I slow down for the sharp curves.

This is a very stable machine! * My machine has an automatic brake that will quickly stop the machine if you let go of the accelerator. I have found that to make gradual smooth stops, I often keep just a bit of power on with my right hand, while gently braking with my left brake.

* The EW-36 is easy for me to roll around in the garage an on pavement with the power off. * Battery charging seems fairly fast. But don’t take your battery down to 1/4 charge or less, I have read online there is the possibility that you could weaken the battery internally and limit how much charge it will carry.

* Over your first few runs, you may find that the battery pack will be able to store a bit more charge each time, like mine did. A small amount, but just noticeable, as I was paying close attention. * I am able to make two long runs each day, morning and evening, charging in-between.

This is our 3rd scooter. The first was wonderful, but was too slow for my husbands taste. Second, we got a motor scooter that needs a license plate, and drives on the roads at 45 mph; and that was too fast.

This scooter is perfect! It comfortably goes about 20 mph, but you have complete control over the speed with the speed dial and the brakes. We always drive it at 50% on the speed dial. It is comfortable, easy to drive, and has ample storage (storage under the seat, and a large basket on the back with a lid that snaps closed.

) The EW36 Elite came fully assembled. The little rear stability wheels caught on the palette when we were trying to roll the scooter off the shipping palette, so a piece of plywood or other board is needed when you go to roll the scooter off the palette.

Then you attach the rear view mirrors, and go! The scooter came fully charged, so there was no waiting. This scooter does not come apart for transport; but we have found that we are not interested in transporting it.

My husband just drives where he wants to go, and we live within a half mile of several small shopping plazas, so there are things to do. We are planning a little longer trip out to the State Park. The description on Amazon says it comes with a weatherproof cover; but we didnt get that.

The salesman from the company spoke with us several times on the phone before the scooter arrived, so there was good communication there. I understand that the difference between the EW36 and the EW36 Elit.

I received my EW-36 yesterday and I charged it according to the manuel. It took about 7 and a half hours to fully charge. I was instantly impressed with it right away. I didn’t take it our for long but long enough to know that it goes faster than advertised.

I love all the bells and whistles as this amazing scooter has them all ( or at least all you could need to be happy you bought it ) I took my steep driveway like nothing flat, with the speed dial at one quarter power setting which translates to power without a doubt.

If anyone is still on the fence about purchasing one of these great scooters then do your homework like I did. I researched everything I could find and I decided this scooter was the best one for the money.

Electric Wheelchairs USA gave me back my freedom and they will be happy to do the same for you. Their staff was friendly knowlegable and the price was the lowest I was even offered a chance to find it cheaper so they would honor that price.

Luckily for the them I couldn’t find a cheaper price. So instead of whining that you can’t get around STOP. You can get around with the EW-36 and be safe while looking good on this eye catcher.
