20 Best Vented Hair Brush (2022 Updated)

I’ve been working to grow out bangs for five months now. NOT easy. How to style my hair changes with each passing month. Up to now, I had always used the same drug store type hair styling brushes until coming across an article all about natural bristle brushes.

Very happy I found the GHD natural bristle round brush – I have tossed out all my old brushes. It didn’t take me long to get used to the shape and weight of the handle, just took a little practice. I love that my hair does not get tangled in the barrel or the handle of the brush.

The end result is really nice with far less effort. not to mention, no more “tug of war” with a styling brush – my hair is happy!!.

I bought this brush after reading the reviews, and I am certainly not disappointed. I have long, very thick hair that dries wavy, and I battle frizz all the time. That said, my individual hairs are quite fine (not coarse) and hold style very well.

This brush grips my hair very well without pulling, and is light in the hand. The handle is comfortable and long enough, and the brush is very well made. It takes me forever to blow dry my hair, so I usually use the brush to blow dry the hair around my face, and then rough dry the rest before finishing with this brush.

I get a very nice, polished result. I have a similar brush (different brand) in the larger size that is technically supposed to help dry my hair faster, but its size is cumbersome and tires my arm out so I bought this one.

I am very happy with this purchase.

I have been suffering with hair loss due to Folliculitis and my hair has thinned considerably. I commented to my new hair stylist that I’d been finger drying my hair to avoid too much pulling of my hair using my present brushes which were not GHD brushes but ceramic vented.

I was only finishing off my styling with them. She used this brush to style my hair after a cut and colour and my hair never got tangled up in the brush. She suggested I bought a size 2 which I did. Very happy with it and have thrown away my old brushes!.

You know those large brushes at the hair salon, well, this is bogger, much bigger. I got the medium sized barrel since it have mid to long hair. My hair is dry, curly and rebellious to say the least.

I am no professional at styling my hair, but this brush makes it a possibility for me. The extra size allows me to curl my hair at least one time around the brush without thinking I am going to put a knot in it.

The brush is not heavy thanks to its vents and wood construction. However, it can shatter if dropped on the barrel edge (this is a replacement for a previous monster brush). I would definitely recommend this brush.

I loveeee this brush. Let me start off by saying that I have long (18″), fine-medium (I thought it was thick until I checked a hair texture key, be careful not to equate a lot of hair with thick hair!), dense, wavy hair.

I have the 4″ and it cuts drying time down significantly and leaves my hair so smooth! It’s also great for drying with volume since it pulls the hair so far away from the head. I have about 5 different barrel brushes and I always go back to this one.

I think I do have a bit more hair than this brush was designed for because after the first couple of uses the boar bristles are bent every which way, but the reinforced bristles still grab the hair and I guess the boar smooths it.

If I have to replace it every few months that would be fine by me; it’s inexpensive and works great. I would like to try some smaller sizes to add a bit more curl while blow drying, so I’m on the look out!.

I LOVE this brush! The first time I used it, I was a bit wary about the size – a 4-inch diameter looks huge at first sight. However, it’s my new blow-drying weapon of choice. I have very long hair, but even my shorter layers respond well to the Monster Vent; my bangs look fantastic after being blown out with this brush, if I may say so myself.

Its size is perfect for creating volume and the boar bristles smooth out my hair perfectly. Get it!.

I am obsessed with this brush. That’s no exaggeration! I have long, thick hair and this brush has been a God send! The curved shape and flexibility feels like it grips your head as you brush and gives you a feeling similar to those popular scalp massagers.

It being vented is also great for blowdrying. And the little hidden parting tool that can be pulled out and flipped around when needed is just the icing on the cake. I have seen quite a few reviews say this brush broke but if you buy the right size for your hair as well as brush from the ends to the root like you’re supposed to there will be zero issues.

Worth every penny.

I put my Olivia Garden Healthy Hair Ionic Massage Bamboo Brush last month. I absolutely love this brush and how refreshing it is on my scalp. From the strong, yet gentle, bristles massaging my hair to the aftereffects of my style I am pleased! This attractive brush was equally affordable and arrived quickly through mail order.

I have loosely curly hair that I had cut close a week later. I felt no difference on my scalp during brushing after my cut. My opinion is that as any age or gender would benefit from using the Olivia Garden Bamboo Brush with massage! Highly recommend.

I have lots of long fine healthy hair. This brush tugged liked nothing I have ever used in my hair. Shame on me for trying it a second time, only to lose another chunk of hair. I got the medium size which said was for all hair types.

I love the other vented Olivia Garden brush meant for fine hair. It’s no longer available at Ulta, probably because it would break easily. Hopefully they’re redesigning it to be unbreakable.

This is a cool, classic, complementary, and overall an absolutely amazing comb & brush combo! This is my favorite comb and brush i’ve ever used and i’ve used a lot and this just so happens to be my favorite of all time.

I only have one and only one complaint but it doesn’t affect the usage of the product at all and is a personal preference the logo faded off of my comb and brush, I just wish it was engraved in but not a big deal at all, just a personal preference issue but other than that this is the best comb and brush i’ve ever used.

Five stars from me! I would totally recommend this product to anyone! And plus you can’t beat the price, i’ve seen single plastic combs at stores for $10 just for one comb so this is definitely a deal!.

I love the brush and comb more so the brush. The comb would be perfect if you made it with teeth that are twice the length. Also the logo on both sides of the comb gives it a designer look. The logo on the brush does not look designer.

It is on the inside of the handle where after a short amount of time there will be natural wear and tear and the logo will rub off. If you had the logo in two places like where it already is and the back of the brush where the hand touches at a minimum, the Brush would have a more designer look.

So when people go in your bathroom and see your brush and comb on your counter, it looks sharp and particular. Just my opinion. Product is still good. Best Regards, Ranzo.

I ordered this a few months ago and just realized that I received the wrong product? The brush was expected but I got a comb that I never used because the teeth were very wide and short and didn’t seem like it was doing the job – honestly didn’t feel premium.

I didn’t think much of it (just thought it was not a good comb) because P&P are usually pretty good with their products so I had no reason to doubt them. Well I just realized, after being back on the site today, that I got a different comb than what is advertised.

The comb I got and what is being shown are completely different. It might be too late for me to ask for a replacement, but make sure you get what you paid for!.

Second time buying this brush, good size, easy to use but dips don’t last and brush hurts to use without them. I thought the first was just defective but second has same issue. Very expensive to not hold up any better than cheaper ones.

I have short, straight, thick hair, didn’t last more than a couple of months of every day use.

I love this brush! I had another of the same size (different brand), but it had more bristles and left my hair kind of fuzzy. My hair is fine and pretty much straight, and with this brush it dries quickly but doesn’t get dried out, and best of all it’s nice and smooth! It also gives body to my hair, it’s not just straight as a stick.

And my hair does not get tangled in the bristles because they’re short but flexible. Definitely recommended 100%!.

I have very fine short straight hair and it got tangled immediately! I recently got a bixie cut and needed a small round brush to give my hair a flip and oh my gosh! The brush was so tangled on my head I had to calm myself down to slowly untangle.

Worst brush ever.

One of the worst cushion brushes I’ve ever used. I’ve owned a few Revlon brand brushes in the past, and being a trusted name brand in beauty I had confidence in the brand when making my purchase decision online since it was during the pandemic lockdown and I wasn’t able to physically touch the brush beforehand to get a better idea of the quality.

I regretted my decision the first time I ran the brush through my hair. The cushion effect did perform as expected, but the bristles that protrude from the cushion on this brush are metal with a tiny round platic ball on each end to protect the metal from scratching and damaging the skin on your scalp.

Well, the first time I used the brush these tiny little balls started coming off and getting stuck throughout my hair. I ended up having to go through with a teasing comb just to find them all and get them out of my hair.

So the next time I tried using the brush, not only did the same thing happen with even more pieces I had to fish out of my hair, but in addition, all the metal bristles that the balls came off of were now just sharp metal spines sticking out of the cushion causing them to dig in and scratch my scalp so bad one spot started bleeding.

I wasn’t even using much pressure to brush my hair because I was instantly reminded of the exposed metal bristles when I started brushing my hair and it hurt. I was only able to use the brush maybe 5-6 times before all of the protective caps on every bristle were gone and I was just brushing my scalp with sharp pieces of metal, which at that point hurt my scalp too bad to even run the brush lightly through my hair as I have very fine, straight hair that allows the bristles to all have direct contact with the skin on my scalp.

I was surprisingly disappointed at the lack of quality of this brush, because Revlon has been a trust brand in the beauty industry for decades. It seems like everything is becoming more expensive but the quality of products is plummeting nonetheless.

Sad, but it is what it is, I guess. I just know I won’t be purchasing Revlon brand products again unless I’m able to physically see, touch, determine the quality before I make my purchase decision.

I feel super silly leaving a review for hair brush. But this one is so amazing I just had to! I used to buy the As Seen on TV hair brushes that work really well at detangling but after a while I started to feel like it wasn’t doing my thick wavy/curly hair any good.

I got this brush after I’ve been sick and couldn’t brush my hair for two weeks, I know that’s sad but I would get super duper sick where I can’t do anything. I was afraid it was going to take me forever to brush out my hair and that I was going to need detangler however I was pleasantly surprised to find that this brush glided right through my thick hair Tangles and all with no problem! I thought it was going to take me an hour to brush my hair because it was so tangled I thought I was going to have to cut it because it was so tangled but nope this brush handled it like a boss! It’s cheaper than the As Seen On TV brushes I think I got this for about 6 bucks at Walgreens super duper happy with how well it works highly recommend!.

This brush is really great. It’s easy to use. It detangles your hair easily. I repeatedly use it everyday. It’s the best. I recommend this to anyone with hair, especially long hair. I’d buy this same hair brush again once this one breaks.

Go get one now if you don’t already have one. You won’t regret it.

I bought this for my Autistic daughter, who has sensory sensitivities related to her head but was “blessed” with thick curly hair. While I have found a good detangler spray, I have gone through a number of brushes in her 34 yrs try to find one that hurts less.

Finally I have found it. She can get intense tangles and knots in her hair, and brushing it has always been a struggle to take care to get the tangles out without too much pain. This brush just glides through and she does not try to pull away hardly at all.

I think she is just as surprised as I am at how easily it glides through her hair.

Amazing for detangling. Like amazing! I use it in the shower with a slippery conditioner because I have a super sensitive scalp aka tender headed. I use it almost everyday because I like the way the bristles feel on my scalp.

My one gripe is that it breaks easily. I’ve been. Through at least five of these brushes because of this. When I use the detangling products it gets on my hands and then the handle gets slippery too which often leaves me dropping this brush frequently.

Wish they would either add some rubber grips to the handle or make the frame out of better materials.

Love the Unbrush Detangling Hair Brush! My hair is thick and wavy, but I straighten my hair after washing and conditioning. This is the one brush I can get through my hair after leaving a premium conditioner in my hair for 20 minutes.

Purchased every color to give as gifts. I own both the sky and orchid raspberry with gray handles.

I think this is one of the most underrated products that exists and it’s almost life changing in a way. it’s called “The Wet Brush” is used to detangle your hair regardless if it is wet or dry. Like many, many other people I have experienced severe bouts of depression from PTSD other underlying mental conditions, unfortunately, that led to me going days without washing my hair (which was verrry long at the time) or even touching it for that matter.

I would mainly throw it up in a bun leave it which led to terrible knots tangles. those of you who have also experienced manic depression/clinical depression will know EXACTLY what I am referring to (if you or someone you know is needing help please for the love of everything you find holy.

These brushes have saved my hair numerous times because without it I would’ve had to end up cutting many of the tangles out that I like I had previously done prior to getting stabilized on my medication.

If you hair is locked though this brush isn’t going to touch it, but, out of all the detangling brushes available these are one of the absolute best brushes that are available. I just recently purchased the Limited Edition brushes that are a collab between Wet Brush Disney with the Disney Princesses (I didn’t see the exact match so figured I would add them to the original).

These are hands down the most beautiful brushes I have seen as far as the design. They looked very cute online, but, the pictures really do not do them justice as it’s another level of cute when they arrive.

Each one feels as though it is made from actual wood hand painted as you can feel the texture of the lines. Whoever designed these did an amazing job. The rubberized handle allows for a nice fitted grip that isn’t uncomfortable after brushing your hair for a long time and the Intelliflex bristles used in the brushes are strong flexible while not causing any damage.

These can be used on wigs extensions, both real synthetic options. If you have any children that may not be a big fan of brushing their hair (I think we have all had that child as some point) or their hair gets tangled easily then you should give the WetBrush a try.

For two years I was constantly straightening my hair (everyday) and before that I never straightened my hair but most definitely did not have a routine for my curls and did not know how to take care of them.

The past year I began to take care of them. I learned what products I liked and how to take care of my curls. In my sleep my curls get stuck together and tangled. I was to scared to brush through the knots so I never tried and found it easy to condition my hair every day which dried it out.

This brush makes it easy to detangle without the help of conditioner. I use the brush in the short and brush from the ends and move up. It’s so quick and takes 5 minutes. When I get out of the shower I brush through again making sure I didn’t miss any knots and then I style and use a denman brush to define my curls.

This brush is a gamechanger for me. The Original Wet brush. I have owned purple, brown, black and pink one if I remember correctly. It works well with wet hair, in the shower or out. My #favorite #haircare #beautyroutine now is brushing in the morning and before bedtime.

I have less head and scalp pain since I started using this brush and I can’t speak more highly about it. I just love the brush and always will buy it. It is a must have in everyone’s arsenal against hard to brush hair.

I was looking to update my current styling brush for blowing out my hair. This brush was recommended by my hairdresser. It’s what they use in the salon. It’s great. The handle is soft and the width of the brush is great for my long hair.

The barrel is longer than most making it easy to divide my hair into larger parts when blowing it out. The outcome of its use is beautifully styled and healthy looking hair. I’d highly recommend.

I like a big round brush for blowouts. This has very short bristles which don’t seem to grip and hold much hair. I had medium thickness hair that is below my shoulders. This made my blowout time increase by at least double.

I didn’t see any noticeable benefit like shine or bounce. I prefer a mix of metal and boar bristle so it holds more hair and grips it for volume.

When you have long hair and are using a large brush. with length rolled up on it to set a curl/fullness when drying. frequently, I find that my hair will tangle when attempting to unroll it off of the brush.

This one does not! It glides through my hair, not causing any static flyaways with even heating on the brush core. I highly recommend! I purchesed 2 sizes!.

So, I’m 30 years old, and I have curly hair (3A/3B curls). My mother, bless her heart, is extremely Caucasian (I’m biracial) and her hair is straight as a board. Growing up she used the regular brushes and combs you can get anywhere for my hair, and it never went well.

I figured my hair was just unruly and couldn’t be managed easily, so I kept it very short. A couple years ago I started growing out my hair, but I kept using the regular brushes I was used to, and had a bad time of it.

After several recommendations, I got a Wet brush. Going in, I thought a $10 brush can’t be THAT much better than a $5 brush, but I don’t think I’ve ever been more wrong in my life. This thing glides through my hair like a hot knife through butter, detangling effortlessly, and giving me bouncy, beautiful curls that I love! For the first time I can actually run a brush through my hair without any pain! I love it so much that I bought a second one just to keep in my bathroom, so I never have to go looking for one of these.

I seriously love this thing, and if you have curly hair, I’d definitely recommend trying it out. I’ve started using it in the shower to detangle my hair with conditioner in, and I don’t think I can ever go back to life without one.

I will preface this review on this complimentary product with the following: I have been an avid Wet Brush user and loyal customer for the past 8 years-ish, so my experience with this Tangle Teezer brush is compared against Wet Brush brushes.

👍⭐️ Star: The appearance of this Tangle Teezer is pretty. The color is a pretty purple with black, pointed bristles. It has a nice weight to it and isn’t heavy. It is heavier than a few of the Wet Brushes I currently own.

⭐️⭐️ Star: It’s a hairbrush. It serves its purpose and detangles my hair as well as both my girls’ hair too. Although I’m not sure my hair dried any quicker using it? 👎NEGATIVES (in my opinion): 1. The bristles are so pointy.

The first time brushing my hair, I scratched my scalp upon contact; it hurt and I learned. 2. On the box, it states “Super Quick Blow-Dry” as it is “The Ultimate Vented Hairbrush Large. ” I was so ready to use it with my hair dryer, but upon further reading, the box also states, “.

please avoid placing the nozzle of the hair dryer directly onto the teeth of the hairbrush. ” WELP, that was disappointing. If I’m gong to blow dry my hair and use a hairbrush, I like to use the hairbrush almost in a blowout manner.

I made do and followed the directions for this product. For these reasons and maybe more, I give it 1 star. I do not recommend this product and will stick to my favorite brand, Wet Brush.

I used to have an eco tools hair brush with a similar design which was amazing for drying my thick long hair. Unfortunately after years of use the bristles had worn away slightly and I was looking for a replacement, and like all good things of course it had to come to an end and eco tools decided to stop making them or at least I could not find them anywhere in stores or online.

So I searched for a brush that was most like it, and for a couple of years there was absolutely nothing similar then tangle teezer came out with this and I was so excited. On my first use I knew straight away that it was a failure.

The brush itself including the bristles is rock hard, so much so that it scratches your scalp to pieces, and that’s in between your hair getting caught in the bristles and being ripped out. I don’t have a sensitive head in any way, so I gave it a couple of chances but there was no way that it was bearable.

It visibly scratches the scalp and it can not be healthy to pull the hair out, so the product itself should be looked into. Even if it’s a faulty one, tangle teezer should not be allowed to let faulty brushes sold to the public as I’ve seen other reviews from people who have had similar experiences.

so be warned.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Tangle Teezer hair brushes which I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I have very fine and fragile hair so I am quite particular about the brushes I use! First, I tried The Ultimate Detangler.

It’s so cute! Love the shade of pink. The first thing I noticed is that it’s super-light! Love that. It also had a great ergonomic fit to my hand. Both of those features equal no tiring of my wrist, arms, or hand when brushing.

Those 100 strokes a night are a breeze! and it really makes my hair super-duper shiny and smooth. That is what makes this brush really amazing though because it styles the best up-do’s to dry hair like you wouldn’t believe! Just brush hair exactly where you want it and there won’t be one hair out of place! Every stroke precisely smooths every strand.

No fly aways and no re’do’s. Just a shiny perfectly smoothed, sleek upstyled do that stays. I love it! And it does the same for weaves, wigs and extentions?Come on! You need The Ultimate Detangler! Next, is the large Ultimate Vented brush.

This one is so cool looking! (purple, my fave color) and again light and comfortable grip. This one is best used for a quick blow dry that adds volume and shine using just low heat. It literally takes no time at all and looks like you spent an hour and a half.

There’s no need to use a straightener with this one either. In fact, it’s recommended you don’t!And don’t place your dryer right up against it either. There’s no need for harsh, high, heat anyway because this brush does all the work of detangling (obviously) smoothing, and drying with added volume for you.

My one complaint is that the bristles can feel quite hard and sharp if you don’t use it gently and that can be difficult if your in a hurry. Honestly, I favor my large boar bristle type brush for this personally although it maybe takes a little longer.

But The Ultimate Vented Tangle Teezer brush does what they say it will! IF. you don’t mind an occasional jab to the head if you get squirrely! Alright sweethearts! That is my honest opinion and I thank you for reading!.

I have super thick curly hair and often, NO, ALWAYS break hairbrushes or they fall to pieces very quickly. This brush, though pricey, was worth every penny. It has held up and does a beautiful job with brushing through my hair.

Glad I researched this before buying, because one of the stylist tried to recommend me a cheaper and yet very questionable brush. According to reviews that brush, I believe was Wet brand, had terrible reviews and many complaints about the quality.

So glad this one owns up to its reviews and can handle my hair.

I remember reading that on the tag when I purchased this brush. My fine hair, which had become more course and extremely dry due to professional coloring, needed a brush that would prevent tangles and breakage (along with detangling oils and hydrating conditioners, which I purchased).

It does the complete opposite for me. I noticed it actually made it so much worse, that I went back to my old round brush. Just keep that in mind when you purchase if your hair condition is the same as mine!.

I read a review from someone who said she ordered a square brush in error, and said who’d buy a square brush anyway? Obviously you didn’t at least try it, because you would know just how fab they are! Dry hair much quicker give heaps of volume and don’t know why but makes hair shinier and style lasts longer I love them! have a few different sizes for my shorter hair and been using them for years!! I love that this is ionic with no static and that it is vented. But the bristles are not comfortable when brushing. They are rounded off but not enough. They scratch my head instead of massaging it. It is not really good for tangles.

You can pull through but then have to stop when you hit a snag and then grab a comb to work out the slightest tangle. It was a great idea in theory but need more attention to detail. The little metal piece that slides out of the bottom.

I have no idea what it is for. All in all it is ok but not great and not worth the price. I have better brushes that were cheaper and much more comfortable to use and I don’t need to stop using it and grab something else to work out a small tangle that should have been taken care of with just this.

I have bought these brushes for a few years now, & after about a year or so the tips of the bristles would start to come off & I’d pull them out & continue to use until too many were gone. It wasn’t too big of a deal since I got a year’s usage out of them.

However, this last one didn’t even last 2 months when the tips started coming off & scratching my scalp! It’s horrible how fast & how many have come off already. The whole center section has had to be pulled out to save my scalp.

At this point it’s barely a usable brush. Extremely disappointing to spend so much on what is marketed as a quality brush. Definitely moving on to another brand. Bummer.

I have used this brush for years, and they used to last a VERY long time! Decided it was time to buy a new one. The tips of the bristles on the new one started coming off within a month. Thought it was a fluke, so I purchased another one.

same thing. The bristles actually scratch and hurt without the tips on them, so it makes the brush pretty much unusable. Looking at the recent reviews, others are experiencing the same thing. What changed? Incredibly disappointing, and I will not buy this brand again.

I was looking to upgrade my brushes and, since I have fine hair, I wanted to get brushes to help me get a better blow dry. I was drawn to the Evo line because they seemed to be good quality, had a variety of different brushes and combs and are just plain pretty for a coordinated set! I can’t believe the difference I get from these ceramic vented brushes over a full boar-bristle brush! I can blow dry my hair in so less time and get twice the volume.

And, the finish looks like I’ve just come out of a salon! You don’t have as much grip as boar bristle, obviously, but this brush is good enough quality that you still get a lot of shine. I’ve not tried other ceramic brushes so I can’t say how they compare, but the Hank line are very sturdy and well constructed, with no part of the brush catching or pulling.

They tick all the boxes in terms of what my research said was important – they’re ceramic, ionic bristles, not too heavy, have a sectioning pick, comfortable handle, etc. I thought the Hank 43 might be a bit small for my long hair being the smallest in the line but, actually, with a bit of practice, I was able to get some nice, beachy waves.

Love it! Easy to work with. Highly recommended for shorter hair or tighter curls on medium and long hair.

I was looking to upgrade my brushes and, with fine hair, I wanted to get brushes to help me get a better blow dry. I was drawn to the Evo line because they seemed to be good quality, had a variety of different brushes and combs and are just plain pretty for a coordinated set! The Bruce line tick all the boxes – the boar bristle is densely packed, the brush isn’t not too heavy, it has a sectioning pick and a comfortable handle.

I did find it shed during my first two uses but that seems to have stopped. I’ve always owned at least one boar-bristle radial brush but I think quality makes a big difference, as the result I’m getting from my Bruce is far better.

I get less volume than with a ceramic vented brush but noticeably more shine. I can get the best of both worlds by using a Hank brush first to add volume, smooth and dry the section; and, with the hair still hot, I put the hairdryer down and grab a Bruce to run through the section several times until its cool.

It’s a trick a hairdresser taught me – the cold bristle brush helps to get the curl in, set the section and add shine, and it’s easier to do at home yourself. The Bruce 28 is great to get a good wave/curl into the hair.

Easy to work with. Highly recommended for medium-long hair.

Ok seriously, I thought a hair brush was a hairbrush until I decided to read the reviews on brushes like this. It was legit the most amount of money I was going to be spending on a hairbrush ever! So I bought this and chose the size under guidance of my hairdresser.

I have just below shoulder hair that is growing out. It is fine hair but thick as in lots of it. This brush legitimately helped me get even closer to getting that hairdresser blow wave feel and look.

It’m now converted.

So I previously wrote a raving review for this product. It’s now been a little less than a year and ALL of the bristles are gone from my hair brush. While it lasted, it was great and I loved it. Now that all the bristles fell off, it doesn’t really work as intended and I’m on the search for a new brush.

Another thing is that the wood handle is not as soft or ergonomic as other options. My main complaint though, is that all the bristles fell off after one year. My hair is a bit thick so that might’ve also accelerated this.

If you have thick hair, look elsewhere. (the bristles don’t reach my scalp and I have to run the same section multiple times. ).

I’m leaving my review here because the ionic combo hh-p6 version of this brush is not listed on influenster. My version of the brush is nearly identical to this one in shape and materials however the p6 version has a combo of both regular bristles as well as boars bristles so it’s intended for double duty.

The regular bristles detangle while the boards bristles catch fine hairs and smooth to distribute oil. The brush claims to be anti static but I strongly disagree. The instant I brushed my ponytail out it was static city.

My hair turned into a huge pile of fluff. I didn’t use any heat styling with it at all and it was winter so the air tends to be a little drier but I guess I was just expecting more from a brush at this price point.

The regular bristles are on the thin side and feel flexible and while that feels comfortable in my hair it actually worries me when it comes to considering the products longevity. I’m sure the boars bristles will survive but these may wear out much sooner.

The handle itself is made of bamboo and it’s eco-friendly and feels solid and well made. As far as detangling it removed any knots from my extremely long hair with very minimal pain however a lot of my hair appeared to shed just after the very fist use.

In my opinion it’s good but not great and if I tested it first I probably wouldn’t have spent as much on it. This is however the first combo brush I’ve owned so I will give it the benefit of the doubt and try to work with it.

At the very least if for nothing else it will definitely assist in slicking my hair back into a pony tail or bun so it’s not totally useless. I do however have major doubts that this will turn into a daily use styling tool.

i absolutely love it. i dont even own another brush other than my wide tooth comb in the shower. it distributes heat protectant, oils like jojoba oil, and leave in treatments so well throughout all my strands.

incredible durability sometimes i get intrigued by the sales for hairbrushes but when it comes down to it i havent needed anything else for the last 5 years. i even use it to help with heat styling. i mean it this is the last brush you ever need to buy!.

Love this brush. It gets the tangles without pulling my long hair. The cost was the primary decision

I love Cricket brushes, they last unlike some vent brushes. Also gentle on the scalp.

Having been using a cheaper paddle brush for sometime, I decided to buy one of better quality. I swithered between two brushes on sale but finally decided on the Philip Kingsley one because I use one of his shampoos and think his products are good.

I am pleased with the brush. It is gentler with my thick, medium length hair than the cheaper brush and I like the way my hair dries very quickly using it. It is light, of good quality and reasonably priced.

Excellent hairbrushes, I have had them before. Expensive but worth the money. They don’t pull or tangle the hair at all

By far one of the best paddle brushes you can buy in my humble opinion! My young daughter has thick curly hair and it has made brushing her hair a much easier job and with no more tears! I have thick wavy hair and it is perfect for brushing and blow drying.
