20 Best Verizon Prepaid Phones (2022 Updated)

Some woman at Verizon pushed me into buying this phone. I just needed a simple smartphone with a good camera that could have multiple apps open at once without having any issues. Idk if it’s Verizon, but these apps lag bad.

I don’t know what Bixsby is, but I didn’t want it and it’s so annoying having this button right above my volume button that just gets mistook on a daily basis even though I’ve had this phone for like a year now.

I’m leaving a review because it’s already acting up and it’s only been a year, I’m still paying it off, and I already didn’t like it as it is. Today, the entire thing keeps shutting down. Maps, Chrome, literally everything keeps shutting down and freezing.

I’m also leaving a low review because of the amount of updates that I have to constantly get on this phone. Every time it updates, there’s a risk that I’m just going to lose all of my information and it’s going to be wiped completely.

For a high-tech phone, it just has too many issues. It messes up all the time, it feels like I’m using a $30 Cricket phone but with way too many accessories. Mostly, I’m just really upset with myself for letting that lady push me into buying this phone that I knew I would hate and it cost me like 1,000 something dollars and I’m still paying it off and it’s already 200 on eBay with bad reviews.

Amazing phone, it can do everything that I need. The display is oled so the blacks are dark and the colors pop out. Just when the brightness is low, black colors smear when you scroll so that’s a con but expected with this type of display.

The software is good, as expected of Samsung and the specs are good for some games and everything else. Even thought my model has the exynos cpu, it still performs good but sometimes overheats and the phone starts to lag and stutter; the Qualcomm should perform better.

The battery life isn’t the best but it should last you a whole day of work, I come home from school and it would be at 40%. The camera quality is good enough, if you have good lighting and angles, the photos are amazing.

The video recording is also really good, you can go up to UHD 60fps recording with stunning colors. Should you buy it today? Maybe of you’re on a budget, it’s a very good flagship budget phone. Otherwise go for something newer that will last you longer.

I am happy with it and will keep using it for maybe another 3 years.

I bought this phone on September the 7th in 2020 or it could be in 2019. I have had this phone for a long time and it’s a good quality phone. It’s nice and comfortable to take around since it’s a nice small phone.

It’s not too big and it has all the features needed to perform well. I love the space on this phone. After all these years I still haven’t fully used up all the space on the phone so thats saying a lot since I had this phone for so long.

It’s a good quality in screen and the camera are really good. It’s takes nice and crisp photos despite being an older phone. I myself really do enjoy the phone and how it looks and performs. I like the phone is smooth and is a nice light blue color.

The features to split screens helps out now that I’m a college student. I can multi-task and get things done sooner and faster. The speakers are good too and I haven’t had any problems with my phone all these years.

Never once had to fix it or get it fixed. Overall it’s a great phone.

What I wanted was a real Windows Phone, not the awful thing that Balmer had on the market, and I wanted it in the size of a 2014 Samsung Core Prime. Left with a choice between Google and Apple, I chose Google and the Android.

As for size, the newest thing I could find that was even remotely close to the Core Prime form factor was this refurbished 2016 S-7. So the specs aren’t very good, but it’s the best fit I could find.

Out of the box you really couldn’t tell that it wasn’t new. There were no scratches or other indications that it had ever been used. So maybe it an NOS job. Whatever, certainly the condition was better than advertised, which is a real plus.

The Android system software level was quite far behind, and it is on its 4th push update at the moment. As for pre-installed apps, between Verizon, Google, and Samsung, the push on apps is super in-your-face aggressive – especially with Yelp.

It’s going to take a while to get it cleaned out and have it settle down with only what I want on it, assuming that is achievable at all. So am I happy with it? Not really, but it is as close as I could come to what I wanted, which isn’t very close.

For what it is, it’s pretty good. I would give it a C+.

By far the worst phone in existence and should be recalled and destroyed. Why in the world do I have a VR app on my smartphone that even when disabled uses 36% of my battery if not more on avaerage after every charge? I have to diable and force stop the app everytime I turn the phone on and use it for awhile then check back to see what this random VR app is up to and oh hey 40% of my battery is used from a disabled app.

Oh and now my phone is 240 degrees and i could cook an egg on the screen. This phone has shut down more times from overheating then any electronic devices I have ever seen in my life. Pure trash. Not to mention if you set this phone anywhere but your pocket it will slide for no reason.

P. S. you can not uninstall this app. “Gear VR Service” only disable but it does not stop ever even after force stopping the app. and disabling.

I’ve had a Galaxy S7 since the year it came out, and I’m super impressed with how long it’s lasted. I use it pretty much all-day every day, and it’s still holding up extremely well (aside from some slowness and outdated software).

I’m amazed that it’s been able to last five years with all the stuff I’ve put it through, like the countless number of times I’ve dropped it, or how scuffed up the screen gets in my bag; it’s incredible how well-built and durable this phone is during everyday use.

And somehow I still haven’t cracked the screen or the back glass yet! Now my major issue with this phone is it’s lack of storage space. With only 32GB of internal storage, it can fill up pretty fast, but luckily this can easily be solved by buying a micro SD card, which most flagships don’t have the option to do that now.

I’d also like to mention how nice the camera is. For being a 2016 phone, the camera is surprisingly good, nowhere near S21 Ultra quality, but still impressive. The 5. 1″ screen is also very nice, despite that being considered “small” nowadays, I personally find it to be a perfect size; although granted I have small hands.

Overall, an amazing phone. Though I recommend buying a newer flagship.

Again, a nice, solid, well-designed Apple product. The transition was seamless from my iphone 8 (if you want to see how seamless, there are plenty of youtube videos that show the procedure and that will ease your hesitancy).

Most of my settings came over–I think i just had to adjust the off-time (when it goes to lock screen due to inactivity) but virtually everything else was copied directly. After all my apps redownloaded they seemed to keep their histories.

VOLUME is so much better on this than on the 8. I think there are probably only three things keeping this from being a 5-star item, and one of those is the carrier’s fault. First, and this is probably my issue, not the phone’s.

I’m not as wowed by new apple products as I used to be. The upgrades and new features just don’t impact me the way they used to. So when I got this there wasn’t something I focused on and became obsessed with to talk about how great my new phone is compared to my old one.

Second, you sell the phone and you include a new cable (USB-C to Lightning) but you don’t include the adapter. Your old adapter cable combo will work with it (fortunately), but not including an adapter that can accept a USB-C seems like penny-pinching on something that’s in general a very expensive product.

The third thing is just that now it has been a week since I transitioned it and I haven’t gotten the return information to send back my old phone (which got me a rebate). That makes me nervous. Says to allow up to 10 days.

Just noting that last transition (6plus to 8plus) took me 2 days to get it. That’s more an ATT thing, but to me it all counts toward the product experience and the whole experience is what people want to know about.

Counting down the days until I go back to android (Previous pixel 3 and pixel 5 owner). I was content with the android experience. recently and admittedly got peer pressured by friends to get into the iPhone because they can’t stand my “green bubble”, and iMessage doesn’t play nice with android pictures/facetime, group chats, ect.

My gripes, which are personal to me and not necessarily everyone: – iOS is annoying to navigate – Face ID doesn’t work on many inconvenient occasions. Unlocking the home screen when it doesn’t work is cumbersome and annoying.

– iOS app badges all blend together it looks like camouflage of apple squares. For some reason android app buttons pop more visually. – Quick glance information ( battery percentage, temperature, date, time) falls short, and should “jump out” at the user for quick comprehension.

All the information just blends together. – “Back” and “home” gesturing creates a lot of strain in my hand and inefficiency. – This phone feels like a brick. It’s heavy, I have pain in my hand using this phone.

-Typing/texting on this phone is a nightmare. I’ve tried swiping, double handed, single handed. tried messing with settings, it mistypes words so much I have stopped texting friends. It’s almost like the keyboard is broken.

I never had an issue with accurate and fast typing on my pixels. It’s my biggest problem with the phone. I can’t even type a single word without it auto correcting and adding periods everywhere. The only good thing about the phone: battery life, clear and smooth display, possibly the performance.

On a daily basis, android ecosystem and function works a lot better for me. I’m going back to either the Pixel 7 or Samsung S22Ultra.

I love my 12ProMax over all. However. The other day, mine broke. The back of it shattered. You might be wondering “what?? phones can still do that??” And the answer is, if it’s Apple, then yes. Apple thrives off of carrying the “best of the best, the newest and best technology”… but it comes with a twist.

With that beautiful sleek design comes fragility that not even a really good case and extreme precaution can protect from. My iPhone was in a good case, and still, it managed to shatter. Not the front, but the back.

The part that is apparently supposed to be even stronger than the screen. Absolutely totaled. Seeing as I had gotten my iPhone only 8 short months previously, I figured that I was well under warranty still and, even though I had purchased my phone through Verizon, should still be covered through Apple under the limited warranty that is available for a whole year after purchase (and that I was still well within).

I read on their website that they would be able to repair just the back of the phone for $99 under warranty; which makes sense because it seems like a manufacturing error that my phone would shatter from little to no impact while in a case.

I made an appointment at the Apple store, and apparently my high hopes for such an expensive phone were too high. Due to the fact that I didn’t purchase a specific type of Apple Care, they would not replace the back glass panel for $99 under my one year warranty.

Instead, they offered to replace just the back of my phone for a one time low cost of FIVE. HUNDRED. NINETY. NINE. DOLLARS. Needless to say I wasn’t going to pay $600 to solely replace the back panel of my phone.

At that point, it was cheaper to just replace the entire phone. So, I ended up contacting my insurance company and doing just that. Two days later I have a brand new phone through Asurion (NOT Apple) for well over half of what Apple would have charged for just the back glass paneling.

It is super sad to see that a corporation that had gotten so much of my business is so selfish. But I am not shocked. So all in all, I love my device. But it is way more fragile than it should be, and Apple banks on this being the case so they can scam you into paying an unreasonable amount of money for a replacement.

Just be warned, Apple is very little help when their products break due to poor manufacturing, and if you buy this phone, expect to be let down by Apple if you need help, and definitely expect to have to go through your carrier’s insurance and file a whole claim because Apple can’t be bothered to fix what is definitely their fault.

I remember Motorola from my teen years, in the mid to late 90’s, because my first ever pager 📟, was from Motorola, so I kind of have a soft spot in my heart for this brand, though this is the very 1st phone I’ve owned from them! I’ve only had this brand new phone for maybe a week now even though there are SOOOOO MANY different amazing functions personalization options, I am STILL getting used to it all the different new functions I had no idea about! So far, it’s been an amazing phone, no complaints here! My ONLY complaint is for ALL BRANDS of phones, not just this one that is that they NEVER send an actual, physical paper manual about all the different settings, styles, functions, ectera! I’m a VERY visual person having a manual in front of me as opposed to flipping between screens, is so much more easier! The phone itself is setup in Android style, which I very much like, as opposed to my daughter’s iPhone that she seems to have problems with ALL THE TIME! I enjoy the setup of it there are so many different styles options for the phone other applications! You can totally set it up to your own preferred preferences! There are SOOOOO many ways to personalize this phone that I’m STILL getting used to all of it! But I will admit that they have several live tutorials that have helped me to figure many things out they will ask you if you want to go through the tutorials several times! I’m just a book worm, tutorials are good but I like to do it for myself rather than being shown, but that’s just a personal preference! 📱 Details Functions 📱: *64 Gigs of Internal Storage, plus the storage on my sim card adds WAY MORE, *The camera itself quality are awesome! Bought is last year in June from Target, and a year later I’m still very happy with my purchase. I found the phone very easy to use, the battery life about as good as advertised, with the camera in low light settings the only small drawback.

The fingerprint reader is quite responsive and reliable. The screen is excellent for my purposes, emails, web browsing, reading ebooks and watching Netflix and HBO Max. I’ve never had any problems making or receiving calls, or sending or receiving texts, nor with setting up voicemail in both Google Voice and Mint, a T-Mobile reseller.

Although the phone doesn’t have Wi-Fi 6 or G5, connectivity is plenty fast for my purposes. One thing I particularly like is the gestures and shortcuts Motorola puts in their phones, one of my favorites being – even with the phone off – simply shaking it turns on the flashlight, very helpful!One thing to remember is that this is a budget phone, though a very good one, with a relatively slow processor – compared to higher priced phones – with 4 GB RAM and up to 64 GB internal storage.

It is plenty-fast for everyday use, but if you are into a lot of gaming, extensive video editing or anything like that you’ll probably want to consider something with better specifications. As a tech geek I help friends with their phones and computers, and those friends who’ve bought Motorola phones generally have been quite happy, including one who reluctantly switched from iPhone to a Motorola phone and is now a happy Android convert.

The Moto G Power has excellent battery life, excellent CPU performance and plenty of storage. Battery typically lasts 4 days or more. Downsides: Older version of Android, mediocre camera performance (especially at night), disappointing 4GLTE mobile data performance and only average screen.

The biggest disappointment was the camera. Daytime photography is good, however the AI is weak – especially at night. The camera appears to have a problem with white balance – especially at night and in the presence of strong blue-tinged lights (daylight bulbs, IPS screens etc).

The white balance suddenly shifts to lurid yellows which is very unpleasant. Tried photographing Halloween decorations and the results were very poor compared. Although the camera has 3 lenses, the performance overall is no better than my old Moto G7.

Mobile data (4GLTE) was also a disappointment – again, inferior to my older Moto G7. This could be a problem specific to my camera rather than a systematic issue with the model. Fortunately I primarily use wifi for data and making phone calls – here the Moto G Power works fine.

I will probably spend some time researching phones with 5G, FHD displays, the latest version of android and superior camera performance. Then retire the Moto G Power to backup phone status. The older Moto G7 was at the forefront of economy phones in features and value, but that was 3 years ago and the market has moved on.

Motorola has also moved on – I should’ve done more research but I was in a hurry to replace my dead phone. That said, the Moto G Power is a solid last-generation phone and the battery is excellent.

After seeing the first few renditions of this model i was always super intrigued as i have always loved samsung and the idea of having an all in one phone and essentially mini-tablet all in one workstation that now after using i also know you can use as a portable COMPUTER as long as you have a smart tv to connect to or a hdmi adapter for your phone.

I switched from a iPhone 12 Pro Max after using it for about 2 years and this phone is a night and day difference once you get it set up. Extremely intuitive, customizable, and overall a very smooth experience.

The multitasking feature is incredible, and although i also know that the task bar is simply a OS update and will come to the previous 3 as well, the multiple other revisions made this the no brainer to take the leap.

I also got the s pen case with pen, and for me this isna must-have. I have done everything from writing personal notes, to doodling/sketching, to literally being able to edit photos due to the larger intuitive folding display.

Not to mention the features like when youre fullscreen on youtube and half-fold th3 phone it turns it into a splitscreen youtube experience keeping the videos always at the top while you can scroll recommended.

Potential cons are compared to competitors i am a power user and grt battery anxiety as i am used to charging cases. That being said, with the right chargers, no matter where you are this phone will get to full leaps and bounds quicker than even my old iPhone managed.

Also appreciate the microsoft connectivity to windows which i missed since i made the worst decision of my life and got rid of my note 10+ for an iphone simply due to a little lag and battery life. At the end of the day, its fast charging is incredible, S pen feels great, crease is expected and hardly noticible, or an issue, folding screen feels well integrated, just as has been proven time and time again please be gentle with the inner display as the protector for the folding glass has a relatively poor scratch rating being that it needs to be able to fold.

Again, i did my research and know my risks and where to look out for it. All in all, i think this is a great phone and intend to use it for years. I also believe the hardware is beefy enough to stand the test of time.

That being said depending how crazy samsung gets with improvements in the following versions i might bite the bullet and upgrade to a newer fold rwhen the time is right. Ill likely have paid it off by then, though.

I love this phone and would ABSOLUTELY recommend it to those who just feel like their phones done give them enough. If the deal is there. Also if they ever made the phone more tablet shaped in terms of compatibility with certain gains.

Though im sure by the time they did i assume developers will begin integrating better support for these devices because although theyre not a new thing, they are definitely an emerging option in the phone space.

2nd fold model I’ve owned from Samsung. Top down the best pocket friendly mobile device you can own. I work in IT and the extra large internal screen is a game changer for completing work tasks from remote desktop to managing consoles via a web browser.

Front screen is great for quick actions or whenever you don’t feel like comitting to the larger screen in some situations. This model is much improved over the fold 3 in terms of the processor, not that the 3 was slow by any means but this device will blaze though anything you throw at it with flying colors.

Very good build quality as well. My device unfortunately took a tumble or 2 since I’ve had it on concrete and tile but only walked away with light scratches. Would not recommend this device though to someone who has long nails as they can scratch the internal screen.

Only other complaint I’ve heard when friends and family ask to see it is the fact that all of the settings and options although nice overwhelm users used to iOS. I don’t have this complaint though as I’m in IT and love the ability to customize my experience from the ground up but understand the concern from others.

While this is a great device there is always room for additional improvements/innovation some thing that I would like to see in the future are: Wishlist: -wish the device folded flat/flush(there is a small gap when closed) -wish the front display also had a pixel array to hide the camera when not in use.

Would gladly take a dip in image quality for this feature -wish there was a raised texture material on the volume rocker so you can find it easier in the dark or pocket -front display s pen support -wish there was a model variant with S pen slot built into the device.

Could make deivce wider to accommodate or modify the hinge to be bigger in order accept an s pen. Would even accept a magnetic option for the pen to attach to the side when not in use etc just something that intergrates the pen itself to the device.

-make internal display crease less noticeable, it can be jarring at first to glide your finger over the groove but you get used to after ahwile. Not noticable when viewing content but wish it wasn’t there.

-Battery-this is a general note for Samsung, after hearing about older devices batteries starting to swell I began looking though storage to find my older note 10 plus and galaxy S9 plus both which had swollen batteries to the point that the back glass cracked and separated from the housing.

Also have 2 coworkers and a friend with devices less than 3 years old with the same issues while the old phones were in storage. At this point Samsung you need to take notice on this issue. It isn’t simply a fad or bandwagoning of the YouTuber frontlinning the expose it’s a real issue.

The batteries themselves have a rating of at least 4-5 years printed right on the label and there still is a high probability that this will happen prematurely. I of course intend to upgrade my devices more frequently than that should affect my daily driver but not a good feeling when you spent $1800 on a deivce that my not physically survive a 3 year journey if I choose to keep it that long.

Other vendors have had issues like all products there is a fail-rate but Samsung. your name should not always come first in your customers (or competitor’s) mind when thinking about battery safety. Tldr: great phone great device, continue leading.

the pack for foldables etc and making innovations but fix the battery issue ASAP, there are billions of galaxy’s in the world and even if a lower percentage failed that touches almost everyone on the globe in some capacity.

At that point everyone on earth would know someone with this issue or know someone who then also knows someone. Excuse format and grammar, quick review.

First things first, the main reason I got this phone was because it flipped open. It’s still really cool after having it for a couple of months (The dent in the middle of the main screen is going to be obvious when the light is hitting it a certain way, but when you’re holding it you’re not going to see it and if you do it’s not really noticeable but if you’re picky about stuff like that then this probably isn’t the best phone for you).

It also have face ID, fingerprint ID, and a password/pin/pattern option so the security is nice. And as someone who switched from an iPhone, this phone was relatively easy to set up and customize it to exactly what I wanted.

I do still believe that the outer screen is very purposeful, seeing as I usually open my phone to take pictures or to change a song, but if you’re someone who goes on their phone a lot- turning it on and off a lot- then this phone might get a tad bit annoying.

Also it’s difficult to open it with just one hand (it’s not impossible, just more difficultly than a phone should require) it will require two hands and it can get a little annoying. I also really love the fact that it can sit up while folded up, it’s most useful when I’m watching a video, using the calculator, or on a video call.

Now as for the things I didn’t like about it: 1. The battery life- it is god awful. Luckily I’m already someone who carries a portable charger and a laptop with them most of the time outside of my house so I’m able to plug it and I’m fine but at certain times- like going out for the night or going to work for a few hours- this phone will most likely die, or at the very best less than 20%, before you even get back home ESPECIALLY if you use your phone often.

2. Every filter on Tik Tok and some filters on other social media (Snapchat, Instagram, etc. ) don’t work at all so if you’re someone who likes to hop on trends that require the use of a filter this phone isn’t for you.

3. I’m not sure if this is just me but there are apps that won’t send me notifications. It’s a bit annoying because I have to remember to check the app myself to see if I’ve received any messages but again I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s just my phone.

I’ve tried installing and uninstalling the apps, restarting my phone etc. but I thought I’d still put it here in case anyone else had the same problem. 4. Like I stated in the first paragraph, it’s a real hassle to open up the phone with one hand and it might sound like I’m being nit-picky but it’s just something I’ve grown tired of on this phone.

5. This phone is beyond FRAGILE. I’m not someone that drops their phone and I even dedicated a little baggie to it that I regularly clean since it doesn’t have dust-resistance (so your pockets aren’t the best place to have this phone).

The main screen of the phone is made of plastic (which gives it more ease to fold without cracking in the middle) and because of this soft plastic it dents at the smallest amount of pressure. So if you’re someone with nails this isn’t the best phone for you and if you’re someone who likes having their phone in their pocket (or just anywhere that can have dust, crumbs, etc) then the little pieces of dust, rocks, etc.

will end up also leaving dents in the screen. Of course they’re not noticeable but when the phone is turned off you can see every little dent. I’m nit-picky about it because I like to have a clean phone.

All in all, I was very excited to hear Samsung had updated some of the features on the Z Flip and this flip phone concept is super awesome but they just have a few more kinks to work out and then this phone will be perfect!.

I have long enjoyed Moto phones, and I recommend them to anyone switching to Android as a first device. I had the Moto play before I upgraded to a Pixel device, and I bought this Power 2022 once my Pixel’s battery deteriorated.

However, it’s been a hard adjustment. This device is very slow; I tap to open most apps, including Google apps like Mail or Maps, and I have to wait 2-3 seconds for the screen to switch over, and another second for the keyboard to appear.

It seems Motorola cheaped out on the processors for this version, and it’s painfully obvious. I wouldn’t recommend this device — my wife had the previous year’s Power and it works fine. Just stick to devices that feature better chips.

Also: the camera is supposedly better than my Pixel 3 XL’s, but because the phone is so slow, it takes too long to load it up and snap a pic. If you switch from the optimized resolution to max resolution (to get the better quality), the phone takes a full 2-3 seconds after snapping a pic to display the result or to allow another picture.

It’s awful as a camera phone. Also also: No NFC, so no touchless payments. I really enjoyed that about my previous device. I’m actually going to attempt to replace the battery in my Pixel to go back to using that.

I replaced my Moto G8 Power with this phone. The screen is a tad larger & MUCH brighter. This is a huge plus when working out in the sun as I do most days. However, even at it’s dimmest setting it nearly blinds me when using it at night.

Not a big problem but worth noting. Also, nearly ALL settings easily transferred from my prior phone. I did a number of chats with the Motorola support people during my decision process. They were always knowledgeable, responsive & helpful.

The battery is FANTASTIC & charges quickly via all my charging devices. I’ve been a user & fan of Motorola products for more than 50 years. The purchase of Motorola by Lenovo had me worried until my experience deciding on this phone.

That worry was unfounded. My only real complaint is this phone did not come with a silicone case cover as my prior several devices have. Thus, if you happen to like these as I do, you’ll need to spend $10 to get one.

The camera has excellent resolution, which is a bit problematic for me as the majority of pics I take are for CraigsList ads. Even in the lowest resolution setting the pics are far too large to efficiently post.

Again, not much of a problem as I tend to use an older camera to take those pics anyway.

After my 2020 model Power G started dying rapidly and a hard reboot didn’t help, I pre-ordered the 2022 model thinking it would be just as great as the one I had. Well, right out of the box I started having a faster battery drain than the 2020.

The apps were slow to load and the sound sucks. When I touch an app, I usually have to touch it twice to get it to recognize. The screen is larger, but it’s really not because it has a black frame around the whole screen which gives you less visibility.

It’s just plain stupid. I miss my old phone with it’s amazing, almost surround sound. Best Buy makes you sign something that states that if you return a newly purchased phone, they’ll charge you $45.

Now I understand why. If you choose the wrong phone, you’ve got to be willing to take the hit to return it. For a $200 phone, I decided to keep it. If I could have exchanged it for a brand new 2020 Power G, I would have in a heartbeat.

I honestly don’t know if I’ll buy another Motorola when this one dies. If I do, I am done with the Power G line.

I bought the product initially as a replacement for. drumroll, ANOTHER S3! My friend and I both have this phone and it’s been nothing short of a dream. It’s very similar to having your computer in your pocket.

I can customize the interface so that it functions in a clean and efficient way, making the ease of use phenomenal. My favorite physical upgrade about this phone from the previous S2 model was the addition of a button at the bottom rather than relying on softkeys – in the unlikely event of a crash, softkeys are not your friend! This is a fast moving machine and can be a very good choice for a first smart phone as it’s a very simple, very straightforward device.

The only fault I find with it is that the battery life on it isn’t necessarily super, but that’s to be expected with most smartphones. With heavy data usage, I get about a solid 5-6 hours of battery life.

Comparing this to my previous LG Lucid and Apple iPhone 4S, it’s a big difference. I have little tiny hands, so the Galaxy looked like a monsterously bad decision since I had issues with how big my Lucid was.

But it turns out that the S3 is very light bodied compared to how heavy (I know, I know. ) the Lucid was, so it was easier to balance in my hands, not to mention that it doesn’t decide to randomly reboot on me when I’m eBay-ing on the go.

Against the 4S, the S3 is a preference issue, I’ve found. With many people I’ve had this conversation with, you’re either and Apple person or an Android person. Personally, I’m ambivalent as long as I have a phone that works.

In theory, both 4S and S3 do the same tasks with minor variations. Siri always gave me the creeps though, so I’ve opted to stay out of the iPhone world for now. There’s only one seriously glaring issue I would like to point out, depending on your carrier and location, the S3 can have dodgy service.

I had an S3 with Verizon in my hilly, farmland hometown and had some of the most unreliable service in my life, but when I moved out to a metropolitan area and switched to Sprint, my service has been flawless.

Now, I can’t speak for the carriers, this could very well have been a silly issue that only me and a few buddies had, but just keep it in mind and make sure you have a back up plan in case you experience a similar issue (I’d recommend that for any device purchase though; gotta be able to return it if it doesn’t work!).

In short, I’d highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy S3. It’s a solid, reliable smartphone that carries it’s weight in the industry. It’s good for anyone from your great grandma Mary to your angsty teenager, but keep it away from your 3 month old nephew, the phone wont stand up to well to the might of a toddler.

This is the best android phone ever and this is the first time an android phone beats iphone in literally all aspects I mean android phones were always better in terms of specs. However due to optimizations in IOS, iphone was beating better in certain things like camera, build quality, overall software experience.

However Samsung has changed that. It has the most premium build (A little bit fragile though I have to admit) but when you put it in your hands it feels so luxurious. They have put a lot of heart in the camera and for the first time a phone has a better camera than Iphone.

There are so many features like slow motion video recording, wide selfies, virtual shots, selective focus and many more. Low light photography is amazing and it takes less than a second to open camera app and click photos.

I was wondering how I am going to cope with TouchWiz when I am so used to of Stock Android on my Nexus 4. However they have cleaned it a lot. An the theme engine gives you such beautiful accessories to decorate your screen, you would forget about stock android (Although I have kept the Google Now launcher as default to have default voice search on home page and cards flashing from Google now).

Super Fast processing, Wireless fast charging are awesome. Sound quality is tremendous. Most appealing feature is the screen and the edges on the screen. It feels so premium, I have not seen a thing like this before.

Its crystal clear and everything looks beautiful. Edges, even though are not very helpful as they offer only couple of features like night clock and edge contacts, look stunning and give a very unique feel to the device which you are not going to get elsewhere.

Only concern is the battery backup which is not great. On busy days you might have to charge your phone twice. There are a few workaround though like keeping brightness to pleasing level, installing greenify to hibernate apps, not syncing everything from your secondary gmail accounts and disabling useless apps like OneNote and Galaxy Apps.

This gives around 1. 5 days on single charge.

I have been using my Galaxy SIII with Freedom pop for about 5 months now. Here’s what I learned. You want to always keep BOTH wireless and data turned on. If wireless is available (and you have access to that wireless network), your phone will use wireless for your calls instead of your data allotment.

If wireless is not available and you have a cell signal, you call will go over the cell phone’s data for you call automatically. It’s a little bit confusing as to how it works. You do get 200 free talk minutes per month, 400 free texts per month AND 500mb data per month.

Wireless calls (I was told by premium customer service) doesn’t count toward your minutes. Wireless data use does not count toward your 500mb per month. When you get to only having 100mb of data remaining or (I believe) when you run low on minutes, your credit card will be charged automatically for a ‘top up’.

When you activate your phone, go to the freedompop website and look around. You will find an option to disable that automatic top-up. The drawback to that is that when you run out of data/minutes, you’re cut-off unless you manually add minutes/data or you up your plan to a monthly plan with more minutes/data (which will cost you money.

(Of course, you can connect to your wireless network and continue to use voice and data. ) I use my phone very rarely. I almost always stay connected to my wireless network at home, so I don’t have to worry about using up data or minutes.

400 texts is more than I need in a month, too. Having said all of that, I signed up for their Freedompop Phone Premier plan for $9. 99 per month. This adds Visual Voicemail, Data Rollover (my unused data will be banked to use anytime — I can save up to 20GB of data), Pay as You Go Data savings of 50% (if I go over my available data, I can purchase more at a 50% savings), Usage alerts so I know if I am getting close to running out of anything, Freedompop Tethering, so I can use my phone as a hotspot so other phones, tablets, computers, etc can use the internet 4G/3G depending on what I have available (fully configurable), Premium Voice (Ensure high-quality voice, even when network connection is low), Data Compression (compresses internet data so I can get up to 2x more data packed into my megabyte usage), Premium personal support via e-mail or phone (Which has been excellent), Private VPN Internet, and antivirus with other tools for all my devices.

Also, you can add Freedompop friends and each one you add will give you an additional 50mb of free data every month (for you and them!). You can share your data with your friends too. Got some extra and a freedompop friends needs some, gift it to them and they can do the same for you when you run low.

I would give this phone 5 stars, but I took off a star because of battery use. Because of having to have the wireless and data turned on at all times, the stock battery does not last very long at all.

I go from 100% to about 50% in a matter of 4 hours. There are bigger batteries that can be purchased for relatively cheap, though.

I bought a note 9 512gb 3 years ago but unfortunately due to my case from Amazon not being able to keep it safe like advertised it began to get alot of cracks and curved screens aren’t cheap to replace.

I was forced to upgrade and this phone looked like a good direct replacement. So far it has been. It came with a usbc to usbc adapter to transfer all that 512gb of internal storage from one phone to another.

It was pretty cool to see that it also was able to charge my note 9 battery when it started getting lower during the transfer. One thing I was worried about was not having an aux port. It came with usbc headphones so that solved that issue temporarily but it looks like I may have to update many of my older audio devices to Bluetooth or usbc.

This phone seems to be much much quicker than my note 9, the camera in general has some better features and works a bit better including the crazy zoom which comes in handy. But I think most importantly it’s got the note pen.

As an artist I frequently have ideas at the most inconvenient times. One thing I always have is my phone. So being able to pull out a pen and paper any time anywhere and sketch an idea without having to look for a pen and paper so that I don’t forget is the reason I refuse to get any other phone.

I hope theycontinue on with the series in the future otherwise I’ll be using this one for a long long time. But I would be OK with that. Also do yourself a favor and get a mous case if you need something rugged.

Their screen protectors are also amazing although they’re a little pricey. This case is already much more convenient and feels better made than otterbox cases as of late.

Where do I even start? I’ve had broken phones out perform the Note 20 Ultra. I guess lets start with the connection, It can never connect to your data or wifi and when it does it will for 2 seconds before it drops it again.

The screen is way way too fragile on the curves and it can get the tiniest hair line crack that renders the whole screen useless because the entire screen will basically shut down. The battery really isn’t great unless you never ever lose the charger it comes with.

Finally at least for big issues the pen gets worn out really quick if you use it a lot and then starts to not feel right when you have to drag it across the screen and the phone start up is pretty slow and laggy, also the finger print sensor hasnt worked once since ive had it.

It’s a shame because the phone looks nice and runs fast when it finally gets past turning it on, but these issues take away from all its good, especially the connection issue. When I simply want to Google something in a spot I’ve always had connection and now can’t because I have to wait 30 mins because my phone is searching for a connection it shouldn’t have to its very inconvenient, especially at work.

I pay a lot for my phone plan so should be able to use it like normal people. I’ve already almost spent more fixing this phone than the phone itself at this point. Like I said it’s a shame because it’s a pricey phone and can run very good when it’s not bugging out but that’s only 20% of the time it actually runs smooth.

You could get a Galaxy note 20 ultra without knowing what to use it for and it would make a useful tool for any path you choose. However. As every Achilles has a tendon. And trojan is gifted a horse.

Or even the best armor has a chink somewhere. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND YOU TAKE THE TIME AND RESOURCES TO PROTECT THE PHYSICAL COMPONENTS OF THIS DEVICE If you are not prepared to spend good money on a quality case and also pay extra for a coverage of any physical damages and replacement of this device if damages do occur then even all these amazing features are not worth the 1000 + you will spend on this device.

A serious downfall in the design of this device is the curved edges of the screen can cause even the tiniest of cracks or chips to render the entire screen to become in operable. The parts for this phone are high in price so even replacement of parts will cost the same as just getting a insurance policy and paying a deductable of a damage claim.

Unfortunately the Galaxy note 20 ultra is ULTRA FRAGILEI!! due to a cosmetic design of the phone to make it appear sleek the back side as well is made of the same weak and feeble glass as the screen and can also spider web and shatter just as easily.

Therefore I recommend a sturdy screen protector as well and a case that offers more than standard shock absorbance if dropped. Sadly due to the current size of the camera technology the lenses could not be recessed in the casing of the phone either but are rather Located on the front of the phone and extend out farther than the back of the phone as well which runs the risk of damage to your lenses and the housing of camera lenses unless you also make sure your case offers protection against this as well or you get camera lenses protection and bumper guards to keep the housing safe.

But given these downfalls of design the note 20 ultra makes up in every other way and is totally worth it as long as you ensure safety awareness for the fragility of it’s design As an example I have had 3 replacements due to Various protection devices not being safe enough to protect my device and all involved soft falls from ankle height off the ground and improper installation of a case purchased and installed by my carriers staffing.

First, the Pixel 2 is the only Android phone I know of that was released in 2017 that has a stock, bloatware free copy of Android 11 it’s running on. As much as I like Motorola phones, you’ll have to buy a much newer and often more costly model to have Android 11.

Second, the camera on the Pixel 2 is better than most newer phones in its class, especially in low light. It was updated to use the Pixel 3’s Night Sight feature, dramatically improving low light levels without a flash or a tripod.

Third, the Type-C quick charging is outstanding! And, even if you don’t have a quick charge power adapter, the phone will take advantage of more 2. 4A output chargers as well. But please do NOT confuse the Pixel 2 with it’s bigger brother, the Pixel 2 XL! The XL does not age well and can have a number of display “issues” (burn-in, smear, flashing, dead spots), primarily from idiots keeping these XL’s in their pockets.

The 2 XL also have a small number of problems not found on the standard Pixel 2. Now the bad stuff. No 3. 5mm audio jack; requires Type-C adapter. Require professional/skilled battery replacement. This can be more than the price you paid for the phone.

But if you’re skilled or bold, IFIXIT has a complete kit for around $35 to include the needed tools and adhesives. Beware of cheap aftermarket batteries. Last, as of December 2020, Alphabet/Google no longer supports updates of this phone.

Don’t see this as a big problem as most Android made in 2019 are no longer supported either.

I’ve had this phone for 4 years and it actually still works. I’m hoping it’ll keep working until I can afford to get a newer model. When I first bought it I realized that for some bizarre reason connecting it to the wifi makes every other system unable to use it.

It’s probably a combination of bad internet (our max speed is 10 mbps and we hardly get that) and the phone having a large frequency take up or something. I would never be able to use it if I didn’t have unlimited mobile date.

Another thing that I always had problems with was the bluetooth. Not so much with existing connections, but trying to find a new device to connect was always a fight with the phone and I couldn’t find this one on other devices sometimes as well.

It’s particularly frustrating when there’s no audio jack. After 4 years of use the only additional problem I’m running into is that the screen has started glitching. It does it more when the night light is on but it’s the only reason I’m needing a new one.

Pressing the power on and off has always solved the issue thus far. It occasionally turns off for no reason. Sometimes I would have weird issues with the keyboard (typing letters I didn’t press, being slow, not responding) and such but those issues started and ended with the use of different phone chargers.

I still don’t have a single scratch on it. I was hoping I could get another year or two out of it but I think I need to get a new one before the glitching gets so bad I have no phone anymore.

The Google pixel 2 is honestly one of the best phones I’ve had, whatever this phone goes through it keeps on ticking. I live in a city where literally no one here knows how to drive. I’m beginning to suspect the dmv just gives out licenses because they feel bad for people.

I cannot drive, so I walk to work everyday. So far, I have been hit by a car four times since I’ve lived here, and the Google pixel has survived each time. For example, the last time I was hit I had had the dumb idea of biking to work to save some time.

Big mistake. About halfway there a driver didn’t stop at a stop sign and I could only watch as they barrelled towards me at 40 miles an hour. I have seen death, and death is a Ford F-150. I was hit, and me, the bike, and the Google pixel went under the truck.

Surprisingly enough, I was fine. The bike was a mess, and lo and behold, the only thing wrong with my Google pixel was that the phone case had gotten scratched from being dragged along the road. It even was able to suggest me an easier route to hobble back home with me and my mangled bike.

I still use this phone. If it ever dies I truly plan on upgrading to whatever Google pixel is out now because this thing has never failed me. I recommend Google pixel to anyone who needs a phone to go through hell and back, because this is the phone that can do it.

I upgraded from an iPhone 6, to this phone around a month ago, and I’m so happy I did. I’m not supposed to say how much I paid for it, but I got it on a really good black Friday deal, if it had been the original price, I do not think I would have bought it.

The camera app is glitchy sometimes, it’s a little bit slow occasionally, but those are really the only two gripes I have. The screen is gigantic, if you have small pockets, I’d recommend a smaller phone.

It’s really tall vertically, which makes for an odd contrast ratio, and at times awkward looking pictures and selfies, when you’re looking at them from other devices. Pictures are pretty good, not phenomenal such as an *ahem* goggle piksul *ahem* (I’m not allowed to mention competitors) but I’ve been satisfied with almost all the pictures I’ve gotten.

The shutter speed is quite slow sometimes, which is SUPER annoying when it happens. The audio it picks up though is great, unless you’re recording voice notes in the messages app. The battery life is absolutely phenomenal.

Sometimes I have ended the day with 2 1/2 hours of screen on time, and 80% battery. It’s RARE that I will end the day with less than 50%, and I have an app installed that tracks my location at all times, so that drains more battery than normal as well.

The fingerprint sensor is also very fast, and reliable. Speakers are super loud, which comes in handy. If you have only $250-$300 to spend on a phone, this would be one to consider, but if you can get this on a deal that puts it at $200 or lower, it is amazing value for the money.

Another amazing thing I’ve loved about this phone is just how much I can change about it. With my iPhone 6 there was none of it, but with this phone, I can change almost anything I want. Oh also, haptic feedback (vibrations when you touch a key) are good, not great, but not horrible, in my opinion.

I had gone through a living hell trying to replace an old Moto Z2 Force phone which was no longer being supported by Tracfone (the SafeLink carrier) Even though they made my phone unusable, they refused to replace it! I did not have a link and I did not feel safe so I had to suck it up and buy an unlocked phone.

While the Best Buy sales associate was unable to confirm that this phone would be compatible with my SafeLink account, he did go well out of his way and tried. I have learned not to place much stock in Best Buy employees but I found that this one particular employee did the absolute best that he could despite the dodgy service I come to expect from Best Buy.

I decided to take the gamble provided I could return the phone if unusable. I was shocked to discover that Best Buy would charge a restocking fee if I did return the phone – a sum that amounted to roughly a third of the price! Needless to say, I cannot recommend ever doing business with Best Buy but due to healthcare issues, I needed to make a purchase, asap.

To my pleasant surprise, I was able to install my TracFone/SafeLink sim card and after securing the phone through my Google account, the phone worked beautifully! I don’t live on the telephone and have a wonderful Leica for taking pictures.

I’d no sooner listen to music on a cell phone than eat convenience store sushi but this phone’s camera is awesome enough and the headphone jack feeds my pro-level, power-hungry headphones with crisp, clean audio.

Every other phone I have owned drained power just on account of it being a phone. This phone seems not to know it’s on unless I am actively surfing, texting, or making calls. Going 3 or 4 days without charging is the norm.

It is a heavier phone than some but I’d like to think my portal to the free world has some heft! It is a nice solid phone with a responsive screen. The finish is not slip-proof but inasmuch as phones should be in protective cases, that is not really a big deal.

I would, and have recommended this phone to friends but not without mentioning that It can be bought elswwhere.

This phone works great for a couple of months and then it’s pretty much a POS. Honestly, initially I raved it was the best phone I’ve had, especially for the price (free with plan), but it quickly went downhill.

I guess you get what you pay for. I thought it was my signal or service, but no, it’s the phone. Sometimes it will even say full bars and no internet at the same time, and I’ll have to restart it to get it to work.

The battery life goes from great to nothing very quickly. It freezes up a lot. Also, most importantly to me, at least, I got this phone with taking pictures of my kids in mind, and it has been possibly the worst phone I have had for that.

Not because the quality is bad, it’s not, but it freezes up when you take pictures and you’re basically transported back to the days where people have to sit still for seconds at a time frozen to get a picture.

So if you have kids, you’re missing precious moments. Most of the pictures end up blurry, not just because kids don’t sit still, because any person would assume a picture would take up to 5-7 seconds of waiting before capturing.

I have to take a bunch of pics rapid fire to maybe get a good one for this reason, and almost never get the shot I’m trying for, which has never been an issue until this phone. Memory stealer. Even worse, sometimes it will take pictures and then not save them, which is extremely upsetting.

It will take a picture, tell you it can’t save or failed, not allow you to save or even screenshot, and then two seconds later allow you to take another picture. This actually happened to me today and I can never get that beautiful memory back, which lead me to finally complain about this phone here.

I should have done so long ago. This phone is great for a couple months then devolves into a frustrating brick of garbage. Would leave less stars if I could at this point. Glad I didn’t review in the first few months.

If you want a helpful tool/device, and don’t want something that instead adds a lot of frustration to your life, I would strongly recommend against choosing this phone.

I can rate the delivery experience and what is included with the phone but it’s impossible to give a review of the actual product since every phone’s condition will be different and there are various vendors supplying the restored phones.

The phone arrived quickly and was packaged well. It came with a charger, sim removal tool and a screen protector. The battery was at 85% and it was listed as being better than 80% so that was good. On my phone there were 6 noticeable scratches on the screen.

Two of them bigger than the others and one near the middle of the screen. It’s not too deep but I can see it when the phone is in bright light. There is supposed to be a 90 day return period but I don’t think I care enough to swap this phone for another one that might be in worse condition.

You are buying a used phone so expect it to look used. The setup process was easy. I was able to transfer the data from my old iPhone by putting it near the other phone. This phone doubled the storage of my old phone so that’s pretty awesome.

I would suggest getting a case as soon as possible for the phone. It’s very slippery and I almost dropped it 5 times before the new case arrived. This phone will support iOS 16 which is why I upgraded from the iPhone SE original.

It’s slightly larger than the old SE model and my tiny hands have trouble reaching the whole screen if I use one hand. My thumb can’t reach the one corner of the screen. I had to rearrange my icons so the important ones were within thumb reach.

It also has an extra row of icons since the screen is slightly bigger. It has 24 app icons per screen. This phone doesn’t have a headphone jack but there are lightning to 3. 5 mm jack adapters out there.

I ran a free IMEI check on the phone to make sure it wasn’t stolen and ran a free diagnostic program to make sure everything was working as it should. Both checks were successful. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

It was a good price but I do wish the screen didn’t have that light scratch right in the middle of the screen.

I’ve had this phone since it was released, so coming up on 2 years in the spring. I have had problems with it since I received it. I love the size since I have small hands so it fits well into my hands & is easy to text.

However functionality-wise it leaves a lot to be desired. The signal seems weak in most places; I can’t use it in my bedroom on network or WiFi. I drop calls in the car everyday, regardless of where I am.

It used to be that 3 out of 4 bars was still considered a decent strength signal; on this phone, it barely works with 3 bars – pretty much everything I try to do outside of texting results in a spinning wheel on the phone & a delayed or no response.

It can be incredibly frustrating at times especially when I need GPS to work or need to make a call. The camera is fine; there are some features that don’t work or just disappear like if I take a picture from a text thread.

A lot of times my keyboard or my ‘send’ key will disappear, so I have to close out & start over. Bottom line, I’ve had a lot of performance issues with this phone since I got it so I would not recommend it.

Both my elderly Mom and handicapped sister are very happy with their phones. Their old phones were the iPhone 6s Plus, and they were afraid to move away from having the old ‘home’ button. My sisters’ hands are twisted from her motorcycle accident many years ago, so she’s delighted with the smaller size of this SE phone.

My Mom would have preferred the Plus size again, but I gave her the choice between the home button or the larger phone and she choose the iPhone SE. Both of them are extremely pleased with the operation of their phones.

Mom says that hers is ‘nice and loud’ so she can hear it in the next room. As an artist she is always taking pictures and she’s enjoying the picture quality on the phone. They both are pleased with the phone purchases.

That’s a win! My husband and I also upgraded our iPhone XS Max to the new iPhone 13 Pro Max and are very pleased. Verizon has taken good care of us over the years.

I bought mine brand new. I still have it to this day (so the phone is about 8yrs old? Roughly) anytime I have had an issue with my current phone in service, this phone has always been my back-up go to.

Despite being as old as it is, it still runs great; people can hear me clearly over calls, all of that. This phone has taken many beatings but still works just fine. Only thing is the battery life is kind of short.

given I’ve never replaced the battery, I’m shocked it still even holds a charge. The HTC M series has always been great and of all the M’s this one has lasted me the longest. If I ever need a back up.

this is my go-to. It maybe an old phone but it’s still great and works well for playing games. Worth every penny when I got it new. even now holding it’s own proves that new isn’t alway better.

This phone worked really well for me in terms of ease of use and everything I was looking for in a phone. Until it didn’t. The first one I had completely died within the warranty period, so I got a warranty replacement.

The specifics of the first phone dying are twofold: first, memory issues – not running out of memory, as in my phone crashed and then when I restarted it certain things (contacts, text history, it was different every time) would be gone; and second, battery issues – these seemed to be directly related to the memory issues (the physical battery itself seemed fine, but the software couldn’t tell how much charge the battery was holding so the phone would randomly run out of charge and die).

My replacement phone lasted just past the warranty period but then started having charging issues. I noticed the battery was bulging, which is a safety issue. I will not repurchase this line of phone any more.

Hello, I have yet to need a use for cellular GPS, as I’m going to buy a GPS. Anyway, my review involves what GSM carrier I used under the government and why the GSM carrier worked, which surprised me, when my family gets home it will surprise them too.

I use a company called Budget Mobile, which is under the California Lifeline Program, funded by the government for free phone service without Wi-Fi. In order to use Budget Mobile, the carrier phone must be a unlocked AT&T or T-Mobile phone, but in this case, surprisingly an updated Windows Phone from Verizon unlocked, this HTC One M8 works with quote “ANY GSM CARRIER EVEN IF YOUR GSM CARRIER SAYS NO VERSION OR SPRINT PHONES!” Apologize for the caps, but I’m not joking the product surprised me.

I own Windows 10 Pro for my PC and now I own the HTC One M8 and I don’t regret this decision as I was skeptical that I might. You can download apps to this phone which allows you to use the Google Play Apps Store.

Google Play was one of my concerns with having a Windows phone, I did not realize that I bought a Windows phone until I got the product, I misread AT&T & T-Mobile with other carriers. I don’t regret my mistake.

Make sure you have a paper cilp and Google HTC One M8 how to install SIM card/micro SD, I did not have the product that HTC makes to open the slot easier. The flagship at an exceptionally affordable price with very helpful customer service by bidallies.

This was purchased to replace a Galaxy Note 5 that was unfortunately damaged beyond repair. I do NOT expect this phone to be as durable as the 5, due to the curved “screen edge” design, that replaced a very solid metal chassis rim with fragile glass, but it has expandable memory, which the Note 5 lacks.

I am only 2 days into learning my way through the new interface, and I still find it very irritating, but I assume I will get used to it. I am not ready to droip this in the toilet, to see if the standard of waterproofing is up to the Note 5’s which survived that test.

I may buy a second one just to have a spare on hand, if this one shatters the first time it hits the floor. The camera is not up to modern phone standards, but the battery was adeuate to video a 2 1/2 hour concert this evening.

I bought it for features the new phones have eliminated: expandable memory, headphone jack, heart rate sensor and pulse oxymeter. I bought this instead of another Note 5 cuz I wanted expandable memory and USB-C.

I got this when I turned 30 and that was 5 years ago. Most efficient and reliable phone I ever owned. I never needed to lug around a laptop whenever I have to do light office work remotely. I can read documents, edit documents, read/review/reply to emails as if working on a computer.

With the help of compatible apps, even print docs and pictures like I would in my office set-up. The big display screen, multi window capability and the S-Pen are the best! Made working remotely very easy.

If my budget just permitted back then, I would’ve gotten the one with the higher memory. I took a lot of photos and videos of my first born with this phone and saved a lot of documents for work. In terms of battery, as expected it worn out a little over time but still not a wall hugger even after 5 years.

I used my previous phone Samsung Galaxy S8 for more than 5 years and it’s been the best phone I have ever used. I was looking for something as reliable and amazing as Samsung S8. After a lot of search I thought nothing else but Samsung Galaxy note 8 would be the right choice for my requirements.

I am an extensive reader and I love making notes on documents I read. The S pen is a great addition and I love how handy it is. The photo and the video quality is exactly like my samsung s8 and I am very satisfied with that.

Pretty fast, big storage availability and of course not to forget the beautiful sleek design, massive screen and the quick response makes it the best phone you could buy for the money. Great buy.

This phone is ok. I had a bad experienced with this phone. We bought this in Best buy and the guy never installed for us that day because it’s he is about to leave at work. So we just brought at home and installed it at hime after 5days and something wrong with the phone and when we tried to returned in best buy they don’t to changed it.

I contacted the owner of the best buy they refused us to answer. Instead we went to the sprint and they gave us a refurbished phone and so far works properly and no issues but the battery span is not as good.

But i’m still thankful that sprint helped us a lot. The bad memories changed in a good memories but i still remembered what happened. LG company is not their fault, just we bought the phone in a wrong store.

This phone has a lot of memory for me. The camera is not as good as other phone but it’s a good phone if you’re in a budget.

The L3 G3 currently (April 2016) is simply the best top-spec phone that you can buy for less than 200 pounds (less than 150 if second hand). Comparable to a Samsung Note 4 for screen size, excellent camera and specs, but much lower in price, and smaller in overall size, meaning that it is easier to use with one hand (more phone than phablet, unlike the Note 4).

I would suggest to whoever is looking for a medium-spec, medium-price phone to look iat older top of the range models, rather than at the latest mid-range options. This offers far better quality, satisfaction, and value for money.

If you can spend 100 pounds more I would suggest looking also at the LG G4 (I also own one of these and I really like it), but the advantages would be limited mainly to the even better front camera for selfies (8 megapixels, rather than 2) and the 32 GB default internal storage, rather than 16.

However, both cameras are already excellent in the G3, and if you are patient you can find on Ebay a less common 32 GB version of the G3 for about 30 pounds more (highly recommended if you are likely to install many big size applications, games, in particular, which cannot be stored on the sd card).

The G3 and the G4 are both stylish and impressive, so you would not be losing much by choosing the G3. Apple I-phones are incredibly over-valued compared to Android phones: you either love them or hate them, but it is a fact that an Iphone 6 would give you (overall) comparable performance and features to those of the L3 G3 at three times the cost.

Also, you would NOT get microsd slot, access to the battery, and a 13 megapixels back camera with optical stabilization. I have bought a G3 for a friend who had just had his Iphone 6 stolen while on holiday and wanted to buy another one: once he got used to the Android interface he said that this was actually a big upgrade, and he would not go back.

Samsung phones were my favourites until the S3 (I still have various S2 and S3 as trusty spares units). The S4 was one big step back, slower with games, laggy (and “burning” sd cards, due to over-heating as happened to a friend).

The S5 was O. K. , but the charging socket lid is designed to break sooner or later, and the overall value for money is worse, compared to the LG phones (much worse camera, lower specs, higher cost).

The very stylish S6 and the S7 followed the IPhone dark side by removing the option to replace the battery, which may suit other types of customers (the S7 apparently is very successful), but not me: I refuse to buy a very expensive phone, knowing in advance that the battery will get worse and worse, eventually forcing to replace the phone after a couple of years.

You can argue that it is a personal choice and that in two years time there will be different newer models around, but I like the idea to buy a solid product designed to last for as long as I wish (like my S2 and S3), particularly if this is expensive.

I’m not paid by LG to write this review, but so far honestly I cannot find major faults in my LG G3 and G4 phones. The G2 is also very good and very cheap second hand, but lacks replaceable battery (and I believe, even sd card slot), so not worth saving those 20 – 30 pounds less, compared to the G3.

The new G5 just being released now will be very innovative, but also much more expensive: in a couple of years time it may be a must buy! I hope that this helps.

Great yesteryear uber cheapo phone with awesome screen, pretty small size for 5. 5 inch, fits well in the hand and is very light yet durable. The back side is somewhat slippery so you better get a case.

Only t-mobile model D851 comes with a factory unlocked bootloader which allows unlimited customization with custom ROMs and such. It is pretty easy to root and put a custom recovery on and there you go unchaining it.

I also love the fact that it comes with replaceable battery and SD card for beefing up the storage. Once phone is rooted and completely debloated it provides better battery life, faster and lag free UI and greater privacy with built-in spyware (CIQ) removed.

The included battery as weak (under 3hrs SOT) but once I replaced it with extended life battery (~5000 mAH and around $14) – I got a screen time of about 5 hrs. and with moderate use can probably get around 2 days of use between charges.

As a matter of fact I fell in love with the phone and have not used my Axon 7 since. The camera is pretty good, easily comparable to Note 4 camera and is good with low light shots. Conversation sound quality is loud and clear.

With further sound enhancements such as Viper and Dolby Atmos (rooted only) speaker loudness increases tremendously. It is still rocking a good ol’ fashioned headphone jack and sounds really good with headphones.

If need a good reliable and inexpensive option that will give you a great device on the cheap then this is for you. If you need latest bells and whistles and gimmicky features such as fingerprint reader (Why???) then get a new note 8 or v30 and pay 10x the priced.

If you are technologically challenged and loaded then get iPhoneX and shock your friends with Orwellian scan feature.

Samsungs S8 and S8 rank highly on their own, especially when compared to other flagship smartphones released in 2017. The design is beautiful and reflect the effort Samsung has placed into designing the most futuristic, feature packed smartphones over the past 4 to 5 years.

When you think back to the gimmicky Note Edge, you can easily forgive Samsung for taking the risk to bring to curved edges to their phones. The Edge has steadily been refined, and culminates with the S8 series.

Whats more impressive is that Samsung has dropped the Edge moniker and normalized curved edges as part of their premium smartphone line up. I was among the millions of buyers who were forced to return their Note 7s, and can now say Samsung has gone beyond and above to produce a phone that has made me all but forget the loss of Note 7s beauty.

The form factor is spectacular, and shows that we can use large screen phones, without extremely large bodies. The 6. 2 phone is approximately the same size as the iPhone 7 or Google Pixel XL, and goes to show how much space is wasted on smartphones with large bezels.

All in all I love my S8, the batter life is phenomenal and lasts a full day even used inPerformance Mode. The S8 actually has more features than users need, but provides different users with various ways to interact with their phones.

I dont appreciate the location of the finger print sensor, my finger always has to slide over the camera lens before reaching the thing, but its really not a big deal considering that one wipe from a soft cloth renders the lens clear and ready for to take awesome pics.

The 189 screen ratio takes a very short while to adjust to, and once you do youll appreciate how the slightly thinner but longer form has helped to bring about the S8 evolution. If youre an Android enthusiast, the S8 used a good a launcher such like Nova will help you to create home screens as beautiful as these phones are on the outside.

Last but not least, dont forget to pickup a nice clear case to protect your phone without sacrificing its stellar appearance.

Note 8 might replace my laptop in my purely mobile life. From filling out forms, reading and marking up PDF files to flying drones and mapping new construction sites Note 8 handles everything and it fits in your pocket.

Applications like side sync makes it very easy to transfer files and pictures or videos to a PC. And at the hotel or home during your down time it doesnt fail to entertain, either as a stand alone device or streaming to speakers or a TV is fast and simple.

The work flow was clearly engineered to move thru apps seamlessly. Taking notes while your on the phone is a big plus and paring apps for split screen use I have found very useful. The edge panel keeps me informed on local weather and my music is always at my fingertips as well as my contacts.

I just cant say enough about how well this device is engineered for great work flow. The screen is bright enough to use on a sunny clear day and seems to always have near perfect back lightning brightness on its own.

So far it has served me well even in the rain of our recent storms, so kudos so far Note 8 creators. I have tested the biometrics with friends on The Note 8 although Were not hackers the Phone just doesnt like anyone but its owner so I feel completely safe leaving it laying around a work site for whatever reason.

The alarm when leaving the s pen behind is a great feature. I wish Samsung would offer a bigger s pen that would clip on your pocketThe worry I have is its such a beautiful device and so expensive you just hate to hand it off to another person for a signature on a service ticket.

It looks fragile with the curved screen though I havent dropped the device yet and no other person has either I fear the edges of the screen will crack or break to easy. Even the most protective case doesnt seem to protect the curved screens edges.

Time will tell on this issue but I have to say its little brother the GS7 I used while waiting for the Note 8 was a true beast and survived its year with me with ease. Adding to that is looked and worked like new when I traded up.

The GS7 was used in all types of weather and environments it was dropped and kicked around so I have high hopes for my shinny Note 8 it has a lot to live up to.

I have had all three curved screen phones S6 edge, S7 edge and S8. I have yet to have any issues with screens as stated in a couple reviews I have read. The screens are tough and dont scratch easily.

I did have a cracked screen on my S6 but any other brand would have been broken much worse. The phone still functions perfectly even with the cracks. I am very hard on my phones working and dropping the phone every day.

Why would anyone ever use a smart phone without a protective case. Which brings me to complaints about finger prints on the back glass not a problem on any phone I have ever had. All my phones have been protected by a case.

If you want to show off the beauty of your phone get one of the clear cases that are available then you have the best of both worlds. As for the fingerprint scanner it is in the perfect space, much better placement than other phones I have tried with the scanner in the middle area of the back.

As for putting smudges on the camera lens that is pretty hard to do unless you have peanut butter and jelly on your finger. I have tried to smudge my camera lens with just my finger and cannot smudge it to any degree that would ever cause a lack of picture quality.

My opinion is people will complain about just about anything if its a valid complaint or not. As for locating the scanner without looking it is very easy to locate if you are right handed, it may be a different story if you are a lefty but I dont know about that.

My case has a beveled edge near the scanner that makes it extremely easy to place your finger on the scanner. The iris scanner is the best method to use but everyone has their preferences. The plus size is not that large and easy to use with one hand or well with my hands anyway which are of normal size.

It took me a while to warm up to no home button but Im getting use to using the power button to open and close my desktop. While Im on the home button I dont see where eliminating it gave any more screen area.

The area where the button was is now taken by the on screen buttons so that area of the screen is still taken up by buttons. It does look much sleeker and modern but didnt give any more usable screen space.

As for Bixby or the lack there of, Im not getting it. I dont see Bixby ever being anything better than Goggle assistant so whats the big hoopla. At this point its nothing more than another widget that Ill never use.

The Bixby button should have been the new home button. Maybe Samsung will pull it off but I dont see it being anything to hold your breath on. I have an issue with the S8 using Samsung Pay, it just doesnt work anymore.

I am a big user of Samsung Pay but with my new phone its not working, I always get your card is declined, very disappointing. Now Im back to using my card and loosing points on Samsung Pay. It is still working on my other phone but not the S8, it is so hit or miss I have given up entirely I hate holding up the line, very disappointing.

Even the latest update that was just pushed down has not fixed the issue. The phone battery is average on usage, better than my S6 worse than my S7 but it last most the day and I dont play games or do other heavy usage and screen is turned down.

With always on display turned on it makes it through the day but not much more than that. I have turned off always on display and have about 40 percent at around 6pm. Fast charge has always been a plus on all my S phones and wireless charging charges in good time.

The phone is fast and works smooth its the best performance I have seen on any phone. I do like the new phone and feel it is the best thing going at this point in time. I have no worries about the battery its a shame they had the Note 7 problem and I get tired of people asking arent you afraid the phone is going to blow up.

Bye Bye Samsung phones if that happens, so Im pretty sure they have done everything to make their batteries trouble free. Ive had my S7 for a year or so and it has had no problems with screen performance or battery so Im 100 percent confident that the S8 is going to be superior to that phone.

I highly recommend this phone. The size of the S8 is spot on and a perfect fit for the average user, maybe a little large for a woman but its much more user friendly that the other plus size phones on the market.

I only gave four stars on features because of Bixby nothing there for me, or anyone for that matter because it is not there. I understand the reason for pushing out the phone without it to beat the competition but advertising something thats not there is not good practice.

Design: Galaxy S22 very much looks and feels like a high-end device. The outside of the phone features Samsung’s Armor Aluminum alloy that’s been polished to a near-mirror finish, with the S22 also being one of the first phones equipped with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus+ to protect the phone from drops and scratches — both in front and in back.

To add a little spice to the mixture, the S22’s backside sports a lovely matte texture – which does a surprisingly good job of resisting fingerprints. And for 2022, Samsung also spruced up the S22’s color options with new shades of green, pink and white, along with good ole black.

Like previous Galaxy S phones, the S22 comes with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader, and after years of tweaking its algorithm and improving the tech, this time it feels seriously fast. In my experience, unlocking the phone was practically instant, and I never really ran into recognition issues unless my fingers were legit wet or greasy.

(Keep your grubby hands away from my phone if you’re eating pizza, k thnx. ) The one thing avid movie watchers should be aware of though is the color-matched frames on the pink and white models. If you’re the kind of person that might be bothered by a glint or sparkle around the edge of the phone while watching videos, you may want to go with one of the darker color options.

And while it’s not really a surprise at this point, the S22 doesn’t feature a microSD card slot or a headphone jack. With the Galaxy S line now being three generations removed from the last device to include both of those features, it’s pretty clear they’re not coming back.

Display: Samsung has had a lock on the crown when it comes to making the best mobile displays in the business for a while now. But on the S22, the company has outdone itself once again with displays that can hit a peak brightness of 1,300 nits on the S22, or an astounding 1,750 nits on the S22+.

Suffice to say any fears of the S22’s screen being hard to read even in direct sunlight are unfounded. Then, to make things look even better, Samsung created a new feature called Vision Booster designed to amp up things like contrast and color saturation in very bright or dim conditions.

While there’s no indicator or pop-up that lets you know it’s working, I found the effect most pronounced when I used the phone outdoors, with more subtle changes in the dark when compared to phones like the Pixel 6 Pro.

I found Vision Booster made dark scenes easier to parse, but even when viewed side-by-side, I basically had to press my face up against the phones to really see the differences. But regardless of where you are, the end result is a display that lives in technicolor, pumping out vivid shades and hues, along with the perfectly dark inky blacks that make OLED screens so enthralling.

Plus, thanks to a 2,340 x 1,080 resolution and a variable 120Hz refresh rate, everything from photos to gifs look sharp and crisp. Preformance: The Galaxy S22 line is one of the first phones to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, which when combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (or 256GB if you opt for the upgrade) results in a phone that feels blisteringly fast.

In my experience, there isn’t really anything you can throw at the S22 that makes it even sweat, aside from stuff like hardcore multitasking when connected to an external monitor via Samsung Dex (which is still very much a thing).

And while some reports claim that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Gen 8 Gen 1 has a proclivity for running hot, S22’s built-in vapor chamber cooling system seems effective at keeping throttling to a minimum. Compared to the S21 FE, which features an older Snapdragon 888 chip, our S22+ posted scores in Geekbench 5’s Compute test around 25 percent higher (4,708 vs 5,999).

And while the gap wasn’t quite as large in Geekbench 5’s CPU test, the S22+ still posted a significantly higher single-core score of 1,213 compared to 1,061 for the S21 FE. As for wireless connectivity, all versions of the S22 and S22+ support all the important flavors of 5G, including Verizon and AT&T’s new C-band spectrum.

Cameras: After recent advancements from competitors like the iPhone 13 and Pixel 6, Samsung is now playing catchup to Apple and Google in the camera department. And while Samsung is touting a bunch of new camera features for the S22 and S22+ like Adaptive Pixel and various “Nightography” improvements, the real upgrades are the S22’s new sensors — particularly the one for its 50MP main cam.

Thanks to that significantly higher resolution (up from 12MP on the S21), photos from the S22’s main wide-angle camera are just flat-out sharper than before. But more importantly, the S22’s primary camera offers wider dynamic range and big improvements for low-light photos.

In darker scenes, the S22 uses a four-to-one pixel binning technique that combines four adjacent pixels into one big pixel, which allows for improved light sensitivity. The result is brighter photos with richer colors, especially at night.

And even though Google’s Night Sight still has a slight advantage over Samsung’s Night Mode, the S22 has seriously narrowed the gap. Elsewhere, you also get a solid 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 10MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom, the latter of which is important because neither the standard iPhone 13 or Pixel 6 comes with a dedicated zoom lens.

So once again, the base S22 is the most well-rounded camera phone for the money. And in front, the 10MP selfie camera captured crisp pictures of my face including my many pores and blemishes, though you can always play around with Samsung’s beauty settings if you want to put on a smoother face for social media.

Battery life: Featuring 3,700 and 4,500 mAh batteries respectively, both the S22 and S22+ have respectable longevity. But if lasting a long time between charges is really important for you, the S22+ is definitely the better pick as it lasted 17 hours and 33 minutes on our local video rundown test, compared to just 14 hours and 47 minutes for the standard S22.

And thanks to its 45W wired charging (up from 25W charging on the S22), the S22+ juices up way faster too. In both cases though, you’ll need to make sure you have the proper power brick, as neither phone comes with a charging adapter in the box.

Nice phone. Actually it’s an awesome phone, compact enough as it is considered comparable to a Galaxy S10e. However, it may not be a major upgrade from the S10e nor its predecessor Galaxy S21 or S21 FE, but it is a nice phone with a more premium look and a considerably upgraded camera.

The S22 is very similar, almost identical, in it’s physical size as the S10e; S22 146 x 70. 6 x 7. 6 mm vs S10e 142. 2 x 69. 9 x 7. 9 mm. It has 256GB internal storage and 8GB RAM, just as the S10e 256GB variant, but no external storage, such as MicroSD, no 3.

5mm headphone/audio jack, and no physical biometrics sensor. It does have a better, brighter display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1500 nits, and 19. 5:9 screen ratio, though with 425 ppi. Screen size is 6.

1 inches, which is smaller than the S22 (6. 2″) and S22 FE (6. 4″) but larger than the S10e (5. 8″). Battery life seemed to be underperforming. Even though it’s a bigger battery, battery life is slightly longer than the S10e’s.

More power consumption is partly due to the 120 Hz refresh rate screen. Its camera image quality is good overall. Good saturation though overexposure of images is present, such as more dynamic and vibrant colors where colors will look less natural, all of which is common with Samsung’s cameras, especially with a lot of software assistance on the camera.

Unlike the other variants (S22+, S22 Ultra), the S22 doesn’t have WiFi 6e. Fast charger is sold separately. (No charger is included). For in-screen biometrics, Samsung did a great job on its ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Though not as perfect or as fast as a physical fingerprint sensor, it is well above the likes of an optical fingerprint sensor. Overall, a nice phone. Processing time seemed equivalent with the S10e, at times faster and slower than the S10e.

It’s still a nice phone. However, for some it may not be a major upgrade for those coming from previous Galaxy S series S10 and later, while for some others, it may. For me at least, if the S22 came onboard with either a larger internal storage, at least 512GB, or expendable storage microSD slot, it may have been a worthy upgrade, and 5 stars.

Plus a physical biometrics sensor as its side power/lock button, would really be golden.

I have been using my new Galaxy S22 for a week now – and I could not be more disappointed. I upgraded from a Galaxy S9 (amazing phone), and I am starting to think that I should have just gotten the battery fixed on my S9.

This phone is not worth its price tag whatsoever – I don’t even know where to start. The battery is nothing special – gets me a couple more hours than my S9 did, and with minimal usage and five apps installed (none of which have high battery consumption).

Size is okay, but the camera and side button layouts are very impractical. Whenever I hold the phone, my fingers block and smudge the camera lenses, and it is very uncomfortable and inconvenient having all the side buttons on one side (very difficult to take a screenshot).

Bixby should have its own button – another sad discontinuation of a useful feature. Edge panel is nearly impossible to use because of the discontinuation of the edge screen (which I quite enjoyed), especially with a heavy-duty phone case like mine (raised edges, which are absolutely necessary for a phone made as cheaply as this one).

I don’t know why they got rid of the LED indicator – that was one of the most useful features on both my S9 and S7. The camera in regular lighting is nothing special – basically the same as my S9; although, I will say that the night photos have impeccable quality.

I don’t know why they got rid of the headphone jack, as this phone’s battery capacity simply cannot withstand using bluetooth for wireless headphones hours on end. The display and animations are amazing, and processing speed is great; but again, not much better than even the Galaxy S8 in my personal opinion.

The proximity sensor is trash unless I am sitting directly in the blazing sunlight (I am assuming because of the “updated” technology, all for the sake of getting an extra eighth of an inch on the screen), and for some reason, the buttons lag or don’t register my touch every time when I enter my PIN on the lock screen.

Overall, the only good things about this phone are night photos and display. I didn’t mind having the eighth of an inch of screen taken up with sensors and indicators on my S9, and I found each of those “sensors” useful.

I don’t understand what the obsession is with getting a near 100% screen-to-body ratio on new Samsung phones is – but it’s very annoying and in my opinion frivolous. I also would love to know why Samsung stopped including travel adapters with their phones? Oh, right – more profit for them.

I have absolutely no use for whatever cord they included in the box with my S22 – I have no adapter to plug it into, and need to use my old (and trustworthy) S9 charge cord. I wish Samsung would go back to the S8 and S9 types of designs, or at least offer other flagship alternatives for those that were happy with the S9 and below.

This phone is more for entertainment and enjoyment rather than work and practicality, and I still need to carry my power bank and charge cord around with me – something I was hoping that I could stop doing with a new phone.

Google has done a really wonderful job in fixing the key issues that Pixel 6 and 6 pro had last year which includes better chipset which in turn does lots of heavy lifting on Camera especially the videos and Battery life despite not being a powerful one.

IF you want to get almost all the similar features that Samsung S22 or iPhone 14 has but 200$ or more less then you can be rest assured that Pixel will not disappoint you. There are some downsides but Pixel 7 is a clear winner for anyone who does not want to spend another 300$ extra for Pixel 7 pro.

Pros: 1. Tensor G2 chip – Second version of the chipset which Google introduced last year with refinements to Camera app, Battery life, Speech recognition, Calling features and hardware improvements like face unlock which was something that Pixel phones were lagging behind when compared to Samsung and Apple phones.

Both Pixel 7 and 7 pro comes with the same processor. So in terms of performance both the phones should be identical. Tensor G2 chip makes the phone faster, more efficient and more secure and even comparable to the most expensive S22 Ultra in terms of performance and speed.

Playing heavyweight games like Apex legends doesn’t slow down the performance. 2. Security – Titan M2 security chip. Pixel is built with multiple layers of security to help keep our personal info safe.

So this makes the phone really safe similar to what we find on Samsung and Apple phones. 3. Software – Both the Pixel 7 models comes with Android 13. Similar to the chip, Google again did not compromise on the Software experience.

Both the Pixel 7 models gets the same software experience and updates. Also since this is a Google phone, Android updates reach the Pixel phones first before the other manufacturers start seeing it after few months.

4. Powerful Camera – 50 MP Main camera and 12 MP Ultrawide camera is good which makes it comparable to Samsung S22 and iPhone 14. Pixel 7 lacks telephoto lens that is present on the Pixel 7 pro. The photos are crisp and contrasty.

Features like Magic eraser, Real tone for rendering skin tones and Face Unblur which freezes the subject’s face when there is movement are value adds. Photos are looking clear in low light or indoor better than outdoor shots in some aspect.

Both the Pixel phones adds a bit of sharpness to the image, applies noise reduction, stiches photos from main camera and ultrawide camera to improve sharpness and also it is possible to Unblur the photo irrespective of if the image was taken from a different phone or device.

Autofocus is really precise. Tracked focus is really helpful to capture the moving object. Thanks to the Tensor G2 chipset which is the mastermind behind the Camera performance. On the video front, both the Pixel 7 and 7 pro sport a new Cinematic Blur mode for adding more depth to your footage while blurring out the background.

With 10-bit HDR support, the quality should be great. The differences between Pixel 7 and 7 pro is that Pixel 7 lacks telephoto lens that is available on pro which has 5 times more zoom and the macro lens that allows us to shoot pictures of flowers or insects real close.

5. Wireless charging – Both Pixel 7 models are compatible with wireless charging. Charging rate is at up to 21W for Pixel 7 and upto 23W for Pixel 7 Pro. It is really great Google is able to offer so much of features at this price point.

6. Screen and Display – The screen is big and really bright. This is really helpful especially when we are outdoors. Even when we operate the phone under direct sunlight the screen is still visible which will be helpful for people who are outdoors most of the time.

The 6. 3 inch OLED display looks crystal clear with FHD+ and OLED with up to 90 Hz. 7. Biometric unlock – Very fast and responsive. This is way faster than the fingerprint scanner. Thanks to Google for considering it on Pixel 7 phones which has been a long waited feature that people have been asking for atleast since last year.

8. Smarter Voice assistant. Improved AI core helps in the software understand our voice. Google has done lots of improvements on the voice assistant. Pixel 7 will certainly win the race over iPhone 14 in terms of how responsive, quick and accurate the Voice assistant performs.

This is truly mind blowing. 9. Overall exterior – The phone looks premium with the 2 tone colors with the camera bar behind differentiates it as the Pixel phone for anyone who looks into it from behind.

Outside of the phone has aluminum rails, Power and Volume buttons on the right side, Sim card slot on the left side, 2 speakers at the bottom with USB C port at the bottom. 10. Smart Features – Google Assistant, Call screening works really well, get Wait times when calling a toll free number, Hold for me which enables Google assistant to wait on hold and alerts us with the ring tone when the representative becomes available.

I really loved this feature as we can see Google Assistant displaying on screen the text when waiting on hold. Also Live translate is really a nice feature. 11. Battery – Battery life is neither terrible nor great.

With just 4355 mAh battery, one would expect the battery life to be terrible. But thanks to the Tensor G2 chipset which does the heavy lifting to provide a better battery life. 12. IP68 Dust and Waterproof rating 13.

Google includes the USB adapter for transferring data from the old device or even computer. 14. Stereo speakers are loud and clear. This gets the job done even when camping or even noisy places. Cons: 1.

Refresh rate – 90 Hz instead of 120 Hz for Pixel pro. This refresh rate is better than iphone’s refresh rate of 60 Hz but still 120 Hz could have been better. 2. Headphone jack – There is no 3. 5 mm headphone jack which is the case with most of the high end smart phones.

3. Expandable storage – No expandable storage. There is a slot on the left of the phone only for the Sim card. This was a little disappointing as my previous phone had expandable storage on which i was using a 32 GB card which i am unable to use on this phone even though it has plenty of storage.

Final verdict: If you are looking for a powerful phone under 600$ but with almost same the same features and performance as other competitors like Samsung S22 or iPhone 14 with a very good processor, good camera with smart features, Google software features that the other Android phones lack and getting the latest android update, just go for it unless you don’t really care about losing the Headphone jack or expandable storage.

I am pretty sure Google has simply nailed it with Pixel 7 series and i would certainly recommend this phone considering the whole bunch of features this phone brings it to the table for less than 600$.

I’ve been interested in Pixel for years, but kept reading poor reviews of battery life and never wanted to challenge what the reviews had been saying for years. First, as expected, the phone’s feel, quality, and design is excellent.

Since they write the code for the operating system, the interface is seamless. The screen is durable and everything is placed on the screen in a logical arrangement. The sound quality is excellent and better than expected, although the location and feel of the volume button is a bit awkward.

The camera is spectacular with enough features to enchant the most prolific photags- although I wish a better gesture to launch it quickly was available. As mentioned in several reviews, fingerprint recognition is worthless.

Finally, what compels me to write a review on this phone, since I’ve really wanted to own a Pixel for years is battery life. My thinking in purchasing this phone is that surely after all the feedback and the awesome resources Google must have at its disposal, they’ve figured out a way to extend battery life by now.

But, as hard as it is to believe, in fact, impressive, but they still haven’t solved this brand’s biggest shortcoming. First, I’m not someone who plays video games or streams shows or movies on my phone.

I read e-mails, get news, take calls, and use navigation occasionally. Secondly, maybe I’m spoiled by my prior phone manufacturer who is known for long-lasting battery life, but I don’t like to charge a phone mid-day.

To find a way to justify keeping this phone, I’ve attempted to run it in its “Battery Saving Mode” and “Extreme Battery Saving Mode,” even though you give up the convenience of having your apps on demand.

(In those modes the apps stop running in the background and go dark on the screen requiring you to launch them with time constraints when you want to use them). At best, the phone’s battery life is a deplorable 7 or 8 hours.

Sorry, Google. You can do better!.

From my 2021 perspective, this phone is still amazing and it is crazy good value today. My daily phone is the 2020 iPhone SE and I got this 6S as a spare, and performance wise it is almost identical to the SE.

Daily tasks such as communicating, browsing the web and consuming media is hassle free, and heavy game titles run okay but not amazing like the newer iPhones with faster processors. There were no major slowdowns and the fact that it runs the same exact software as the newest iPhones is truly remarkable.

This phone gets all the basics right and it is a great companion device with its compact design. My advice would be to change the battery if you plan on using this as your main phone, so you don’t experience performance issues or batter issues.

It has my full recommendation, either as a backup phone or a daily phone with moderate use!.

I love the iPhone 6s Plus. I wish this one was Rose Gold and had a newer battery, but as it stands that won’t change for a while. If you’re looking for a solid flagship phone, and you don’t mind something a little older, then this phone with it’s headphone jack, fingerprint sensor, and latest iOS version will last you at least another 5 years at the minimum.

Before going into such an older device however, you have to consider the limitations of the hardware, and while this phone can record in 4k 30 fps, it’s a far cry from the camera quality we see on modern flagships.

As well as the fact that performance and battery life simply will not match what not even very much newer phones can accomplish. The gaps in technology further each time we cross them, and so this phone may last a while, it will be seen wether or not it truly can stand the test of time.

I ordered this phone and after the checkout a series of flash screens trying to sell more, captured a fat finger mouse click and PRESTO I had two unsupported phones on their way. NO WAY. There is no way to cancel the added item only cancel the entire order and reorder-despite there being two independent charges?? This review reflects the COMPANY not the PHONE.

I don’t like their policy that says ‘too bad, your mistake; now your punishment is to take all the items or cancel the entire order and do it again’ (or just order from another company that don’t play around) So I did just that.

The reason this is a 4 star review is because they refunded my money quickly. All I can say is “Live & Learn”; sorry guys, I will not be back; your product is not unique, I can buy this everywhere; its Customer Service that’s sets companies apart when selling tons of like product.

I really wanted to like this phone but I can’t, I just can’t. The build quality and look of this phone is just so good, but thats all there is to it. This is my second iphone since the iPhone 7 plus which I loved and had for years, first major problem is no charger in the box, fu** you apple! Environment my a** you are just trying to cut corners and save money by selling us a $1,000 plus phone and no charger or headphones in the box? Like who in this world unbox their phone and throws the charger away? Nobody, and what’s really sick about this is that they tell you oh well you have a charger at home, but the cable that’s in the box does not fit my old charger so in order to get the proper charging speed, you have to buy another charger! I mean how are people okay with this? How does this not insult you, by spending you’re hard earned $1000 and now you have to spend another $30-50 to get a charger to fit the dumb cable if you want the proper charging speed for this phone, plus another $40 on wired headphones that are also not included.

That’s like if you buy a house and lets say its $400,000, once you are inside there is no central air conditioning or heating, does not matter how much money you have, now you have to jump through all the hoops and spend $8,000 to get a unit installed and thats just unacceptable.

Second major issue is the lighting cable, now I had my iPhone 7 plus for a while then moved to android for about 2 years and decided to try the iphone again since they finally added 120hz display, but I had no idea this thing still had a lighting cable before I unboxed it.

Yo apple what’s with you and the lighting cable? The lighting cable in a nutshell killed this experience entirely for me because everything in my house is usb type c, even my cheap gadgets are usb type c, now I need a bunch of adapters, and did i mention that data transfer on the lighting cable is so slow its about as painful to watch as an old man with a hemorrhoid sit on a cactus?? And now I need to take 2 separate cords like bro just stop apple, let the lighting cable go already.

But yea that right there killed it for me, I can’t have this phone simply because of the lighting cable, it is just a huge inconvenience for me. But if the lighting cable does not bother you for some odd reason, here are a couple more problems.

Third major issue is overheating issue, boy o boy does this phone have alot of horsepower under the hood, but as soon as you even think about pushing the horsepower, this baby gets HOOOOOOOT especially if you use navigation then forget about it.

This thing gets so hot it lags and then dims the screen so much to the point where you can’t see the display, even with simple task the screen just keeps diming and its hugely annoying, obviously there is no proper cooling for all of this horsepower in this phone so it’s pretty much a gimic at this point, I mean if you are a person who just calls, then you will have no overheating issues, but if you use navigation alot, STAY FAR FAAAAAAAAR AWAY FROM THIS PHONE.

Fourth problem is no always on display so you have to keep tapping the screen to see your time and notifications, im not even gonna get into this, $1000 and no always on display? Thats a major L. Fifth major problem is I can’t see my battery percentage on the top right corner like I could with my 7 plus or android phone, so I have to swipe the screen down to see it, why apple? And the last problem is no fingerprint sensor, now I don’t understand why they force you to have one or the other, why not both face unlock and fingerprint sensor? Ever heard of options apple? Anyways I can talk about this phone forever and I really did want to like this phone but I’m gonna have to stick with android until they at least add usb type c for God sake.

Stay away from this phone.

I personally didn’t really think this phone was going to be worth it, I had my previous 11 pro for about 2 1/2 years and still thought it was a solid phone however the past couple weeks I started having issues with my 11 pro lagging so I decided it was time to upgrade.

I have only been using this phone for a few hours and can already tell a MAJOR difference between 13 pro and 11 pro. The smaller notch is definitely nice, the bezels around the phone are slightly smaller, it’s ever so slightly bigger than the 11 pro but not major, closer to the size of the regular 11 which combined with the smaller bezels definitely give it a bigger screen.

The colors on the screen are incredibly bright that’s one of the first things i noticed when I got it. I personally don’t see a huge difference with the faster refresh rate but it is nice to have. I wouldn’t upgrade just for that reason.

The speakers are significantly louder, the power button is ever so slightly lower so it’s easier to press, 5G is SUPER FAST that’s one of the biggest improvements I’ve noticed internet speed over data is much faster than my 11 pro.

And the cameras god I could write a whole paragraph about them but the biggest improvement I notice is the zoom. You can zoom much further & much clearer than the 11 pro. I picked up a MagSafe charger & a MagSafe compatible otter box and I already like that new feature a lot.

I’m sure I am forgetting some things. I’ve only had this phone 3 hours and already can tell SOOO MUCH IMPROVEMENT. I can’t speak for the iPhone 12 users I’ve never had a 12 but if you have an 11 or below definitely consider this iPhone! Also the sierra blue color is beautiful I had the midnight green 11 pro which I liked but the blue color is much nicer! Probably the only complaint I can think of is it doesn’t have usbc I really wish Apple would make the switch to usb c.

It also does not come with a charger block in the box so if you don’t have a 12 or 20w usbc block You will probably want one of those too especially if you’re planning on using MagSafe.

I upgraded to this from an 11 pro max and read many reviews before deciding on this or another max pro. I decided to just go for the pro size because of how much heavier the 13 pro Max is compared to the 11 & I don’t really notice that big a difference in screen size.

It is thicker than my previous phone & is very reminiscent of the 5s in looks, which almost seems like the company are going backwards. I have also moved from 256gb to the 512gb as I like to download a lot of music.

The colour is a lovely dark grey. I was going to go for the sierra blue but it was never in stock, but on reflection I prefer this as it goes with any colour phone case. It was easy to set up as you just sit your previous phone beside it, if it is an iPhone and it guides you through & transfers all the things from your previous phone.

I find it easy to use and can see the difference in screen from my 11 pro, it seems brighter & crisper. It is also much quicker when using the internet & apps. Be aware the cost is the same, but you no longer get a charger plug, in the box it is just the phone, the simm tool and a usb-c lightening cable.

I have purchased MagSafe chargers which are really clever and use a clear Apple case with MagSafe, which means I don’t have to remove case to charge phone. I also had to purchase plugs for these as they didn’t come with them, so if you are buying and want to use MagSafe for charging, bear in mind the extra costs involved in buying all these extra things if you don’t have them.

The camera lenses really stick out, much more than my 11 did, but the quality of the photos and videos is incredible. I took a video last night and then air played it onto our tv and was so impressed with the clarify.

The zoom seems much better than the 11 on taking photos. I have used iPhones since the original for home and have to use android at work, so can compare. Honestly, I tend to avoid my android work phone at all costs as for me I find it much more complex to use than an iPhone.

Obviously iPhones are never cheap and I buy outright, as don’t want to be locked into a phone contract. But with very you do get the good options of buy now pay later etc, so it means I can buy then save each month to pay it off in full when it is due.
