The group Journey has a bunch of Great Songs, especially on this Very Good CD Set – Greatest Hits and Greatest Hits Vol 2. These CD’s are very good, new as described. Rock Music was the best, now called Classic Rock.

This is a double CD album with all the greats by Journey. Was a joy to hear so many great songs seldom played on radio stations these days. A must have for any journey or Steve Perry fan.

Those are the best classic songs that the whole family can enjoy on a road trips. I’d also recommend it to real old time truckers. I purchased this item for my dad for Christmas and he loves it. My dad was a trucker at one point and he loves this CD.

If you love the legend that was Bowie you will love this CD. Jumps across the decades with all his greatest hits and some real gems that never made the charts. Sing along at the top of your voice to that unique sound.

Bit of a strange collection of songs. All good but not the best selection in my view.

Though glorifies behavior that ‘most’ Who live long enough understand IS the Problem, the tunes appeal and are catchy. From my perspective on Life, being well past (1960) the view of living Life under a cloud of alcohol and/or cannabis, I can sympathize with the fleshly struggles of 20s-30s Age.

Should the Artist continue to ‘evolve’ as most, he will begin to craft Songs about how the blur or haze is just a waste of time. A search for inner peace, what’s it all about, is Everyone’s testimony.

The emptiness of nothingness. His popularity may help him accept the responsibility of leadership, revealing his discoveries to actually answer the ‘big’ questions of One’s Life.

This is a great album by a a great singer with a unique voice. A worthy addition to any collection. There are many standouts on this album including but not limited to The Traveller, Tennessee Whiskey, Was It 26, Fire Away & Nobody To Blame.

Just an awesome album to just chill out with a beer & listen to with ya mates.

I only really started listening to Country about 6 months ago. I’ve always enjoyed Country Southern Rock (eg Allman Brothers, Kings of Leon) and a few of the past Country performers (Willie Nelson, Johny Cash) but loathed some eg Billy Ray Cyrus and Shawna Twain and found others boring.

So I decided to listen to these new Country artists like Blake Shelton, Tim Mc Graw, Kenny Chesney, Kelsea Ballerini and Becky Cole. And when I thought I had exhausted the genre of it’s best I listen to Chris Stapleton and I find the most genuine and real country performer that I can’t stop listening to.

I hope he has a long life because my selfish wish is that Chris Stapleton will keep making great songs for many more years to come.

A great overview of Lindas hits from her time with the Stone Poneys on. I love her singing and her renditions of some well known songs by other very well known singers. So sad that she had to retire from singing due to a medical condition that prevents her from singing.

Trivial is that Linda and I were born in 1946.

With her long-overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame finally happening, Linda Ronstadt remains one of the finest female vocalists of all time. This import CD comprises her two “Greatest Hits” albums onto one single disc, featuring all 23 songs.

The result is a stand-out selection of fine music from her most well-known era. She became successful at recording her own versions of previously released songs, and placing her own signature style onto these arrangements.

Many of these tracks became instant classics. Her first hit song, “Different Drum” to her 1980 recording of “How Do I Make You” perfectly compliment the remainder of the disc. “Love Is A Rose”, “Love Has No Pride”, “I Can’t Let Go”, “Long, Long Time” and “Someone To Lay Down Beside Me” are fine songs.

She also places her unique vocals on the songs “You’re No Good”, “Silver Threads And Golden Needles”, “Desperado”, “When Will I Be Loved”, “Heat Wave”, “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore”, “Tracks Of My Tears”, “It’s So Easy”, “Hurt So Bad”, “Blue Bayou”, “Back In The U.

S. A. “, “Ooh Baby Baby”, “Poor, Poor Pitiful Me”, “Tumbling Dice” and “Just One Look”. This CD definitely belongs in every Linda Ronstadt music library. A great legacy and and classic voice.

I noted that this twofer set was mastered by Rhino engineers. They did a good job to bring out the best no doubt of the original tapes I was less satisfied with the sound of vol 2. which were of LR’s less “great hits”.

Don’t know if the problem was with the source material or what. Still for the vol 1 hits this set is a winner. r.

The music is phenomenal, even on a modest system. No issues at all with the music. The pressing is the reason that I only gave 3 stars. First album, side A, second to the last song had so many skips and ticks that I immediately exchanged the album for the same one.

Made it to the second to the last song and the ticks and skips started again. Went to exchange it and Best Buy had sold them all out.

I love the idea that I can get my favorite albums on record vinyl. however I did have a problem right out of the packaging. my records weren’t playing of quality. I had songs that got stuck and had some skipping.

I recently purchased a new record player and haven’t had a chance to try the records on any other player. so I’m only giving 3 stars. I was pleased that this album was available instore.

we own a vintage stereo system so whenever we come across vinyl we want to listen to, we usually buy it. Best Buy has good if not great prices on vinyl and also carry “heavy” vinyl and other variants or more rare formats.

Never had an issue with any records purchased.

For me, it’s the greatest hits, which does give you exactly that. Not a few hits and songs you never heard of. It’s a great CD and brought back many memories. Excellent quality!

Do you like rock ‘n’ roll? Jazz? Gospel? How about a little salsa? This group covered them all – sometimes in the span of one song! I hadn’t heard this album for years and I’m thrilled to have it again.

Treat yourself!.

I am (i guess obsessed is A better word than Fan) Three Days Grace fan. I ordered this and it came less than A week later. And arrived in the original wrap from when it was on store shelves. Love the album with all my heart, and if you love Three days grace like I do, buy this while you have the chance.

This is a fantastic album, possibly one of Three Days Grace’s best. It came in excellent shape and runs smoothly; the CD case is not plastic, though, and is the kind where you must pull the CD from the slot.

That can be a little difficult. But overall, it was a fantastic purchase.

‘Life Starts Now’ boasts a slightly unexpected side of this band. With catchy melodies and lyrics that any person could relate to, Three Days Grace strikes again producing an album for everyone. It’s really a great record that everyone, even non-fans, should give a try.

Impossible not to like!.

Despite being frequently bashed and labeled as ”corporate rock” Journey remains one of the most popular and recognizable bands of all time. They have sold countless albums and made songs that have stood the test of time, better then those of a lot of their more respectable peers.

This greatest hits compilation is a testament to just how timeless the bands music really is. Even now as I write this review it is a best seller here on Amazon, a title it has held for months now and probably will hold for many more to come.

You haters can snarl and grumble about how much you hate Journey all you want but there’s no denying that few bands can match the seemingly eternal success of Journey. And that is a much greater indicator of how good a band they are then anything a snotty critic or narrow minded heavy metal fan can say.

You may be wondering just what it is that has made songs like Don’t Stop Believin and Faithfully relevant even today. Well I think the answer to that is that they speak to something we ALL have regardless of your age or place in life, the soul.

Journey doesn’t write about politics or drugs or any other controversial subject, instead of trying to garner respect by talking about the worlds problems they let their brilliantly crafted music speak to you.

I dare you not to feel the the sense of pain and angst conveyed by Separate Ways or to feel lifted up and inspired by Only The Young, or have your heart warmed by the beautiful and emotional Open Arms.

Steve Perry, Neal Schon, and Jonathan Cain are in my opinion great songwriters not because they remind us of things we know about, but because they make us feel things we weren’t feeling before and that’s a better indicator of good songwriting then copying down the late night news.

And what is there to say about the band members themselves? Neal Schon is hands down one of the most underrated and proficient guitarists alive. The keyboard wizard Jonathan Cain can create some of the most beautiful and unforgettable piano melodies in the history of music.

And who can forget the voice behind it all? Steve Perry has got to be one of the greatest singers of all time, signing every song with such heartfelt passion that you would think each one was an expression of his own feelings.

And there are many more talented musicians that make their contribution to the music presented here, such as longtime bassist Ross Valory and the bands definitive drummer Steve Smith. Rather you are a Journey fan, or even just a fan of good music in general you should most certainly get this Greatest Hits collection from one of the greatest bands of all time.

The music contained here is timeless and I have no doubt that if some of these were released today, they would be just as popular, if not more so, then they were when they first hit the air. Don’t believe me? get this CD and you won’t stop believin the same thing.

I have loved Journey since I was a little girl and my favorite song was always Open Arms. It has that song plus a lot of their other good songs like Wheel in the Sky and Faithfully. You can’t go wrong with this CD if you like Journey in any way!.

I took my daughter to her first concert and when I listen to the cd, the memories that rush in my head brings me to tears EVERY time. We now live in different states. Covid prevented me from seeing her last July.

I ordered this cd with a few others from your shop, including insomniac. Sadly the dookie case has an insomniac cd in it and when i looked in the insomniac case, it also had the insomniac cd. Basically ive been given two insomniac cds and zero dookie.

The other cds were find but im missing my favourite album :(.

green day American idiot clean version

My daughter wanted this CD. Glad to know that Wal-Mart sells edited CDs. She loves it.

Probably the greatest album of the decade. I’d love to believe it was written because the studio tracks were stolen but, come on guys, you didn’t know your own songs? I don’t care, it’s a brilliant album.

Love the band. Please always remember your roots and be true to them.

Green Day is my all time favorite band. I first feel in love with them in 1999 at the age of 12 and my love for them and their music has been going strong ever since. This was Green Day’s 7th studio, it was also unlike all their albums released before.

The genre of this album was dubbed a rock opera. Being released in 2004, The theme of this album is intensely inspired by the political events going on in America during that time well under the presidency of George W Bush.

Because of this political theme some may not like the album, but others like myself greatly appreciate the realism and brutal honesty of it. I also felt the album was extremely relatable. The album is jampacked with a range of songs from slow to fast, from sad to happy, and from dreams and reality.

I do consider this a must listen for those who have not given it a shot.

I believe this CD was written from scratch, when Green Day arrived into the studio having spent nearly 18 months working on their new release – only to find all the master tapes (and all their work) had been stolen.

They decided not to try and ‘re-create’ the missing songs, but to start again from scratch. I don’t know whether some of the anger this must have created for the Band translated into the ‘piss n vinegar’ that runs through the songs but whatever – they really nailed it with this so called ‘Rock Opera’.

That several of the songs flow seamlessly into each other is also well done, particularly Holiday (in my view the best song) and Boulevard of Broken Dreams. This is one of those rare albums you can start listening to on track one and just let it glide through until the end, a measure of the hard work that must have gone into it by Billy Joe Armstrong (lead singer & chief songwriter), Mike Dirnt (bass) and Tre Cool (Drums).

Because the songs are so simple and direct, with little more than drums, bass, Guitar and vocals, each performer has to be outstanding – and they are. Tre does not miss a beat, the drumming forming an integral part of each song.

Mike fills the songs out and then Billy Joe splashes guitar here and there, all topped off with his plaintive voice and controversial lyrics. I really really rate this Album, for me it is their best and Holiday is Green Day’s best song.

I would go so far as to say it’s made it to my top ten all time CD list!.

An excellent selection of Otis Redding songs. I liked these CDs very much and I am very glad that I bought this compilation for my home collection. Good music, great edition! Thank you!

Great album and an unforgettable singer with many many awesome tracks.

Real good track list. Felder and Walsh in the same band. Hotel California a monster song always takes me back. The Eagles Hits vol 2 highlights great songs from One of these nights, Hotel California, The Long Run, and a magical live track “Seven Bridges Road”.

I had this as a record and enjoyed it very much. It is a very good collection of their music. It will take you back to better times. Well worth having in your CD collection.

The Eagles are one of the tightest spot on bands ever to perform Rock n’ Roll music. The songs in this collection are some of their best efforts forever immortalized on compact disc. There are currently no touring acts that measure in kind to the talent, musicianship, and performance value of this great American rock group.

There’s not much to say other than this band is amazing! It’s classic sound is perfect for any rock fan looking for new stuff. Music and lyric quality are fantastic. If you’re thinking if you might like them or not, trust me, you will! I may be 19 but I’ve always loved classic rock and older music as well as newer sounds.

This is the perfect mix of past and present for me. The sounds are magical and come together perfectly. Definitely recommend Greta Van Fleet to everyone. Give their From the Fires LP a listen as well.

Cannot stop playing these tunes – they stick in your head! This is jump around the house & yell along in the car rock at its most fun. Lyrics and complexity of songs have advanced since previous album (which I am also addicted to).

I agree with other reviewers, the more times I listen to the songs, the more great details I hear. These are a very talented group of musicians.

It is so refreshing to have a new band come out with a classic rock feel. Do they sound like Zeppelin hell yes! But as Robert Plant(lead singer of zepplinin case ya didnt know) put it, these guys rock and they have my stamp of approval not that they needed of course he said.

So do yourself a favor and check these 20 something year old guys out. They are bringing back something to music that has been sorely missed by so many people.

Bit disappointed to be honest most of the CD is in concert and not really singing, I thought they were all the tracks as in the singles which are much better quality, shame because I always buy my cds from you and still have a long list of others when my pension comes, it certainly hasn’t put me off because you’re CD are always really good value.

Such easy listening, Brilliant. Neil Diamond is one of the greatest song writers and singer. So thank you its such good value for a double cd

Although this double CD set features all of Neil Diamond’s well known songs, half of the tracks are live recordings and so don’t sound as good as the studio recordings which I am familiar with. I expected that it would mostly be studio recordings with a few live recordings of the less well known songs.

I think this CD set is a bit of a con and I wouldn’t recommend it (unless someone really likes live recordings). I shall be looking to sell it and then buy something better.

Some of the best written songs by a very talented and spirited artist. I remember the songs from my early 20s and enjoy them even more because the lyrics are so much more meaning full now that I can sit long enough to appreciate them.

Vocals are stronger than I expected. Nobody can sing a song better than its composer. The duets with female singers are especially strong.

Kris Kristofferson is one of the greatest songwriters in not just country, but American music in general. A great lyricist, with classics like Me & Bobby McGee, Sunday Morning Comin’ down, Help Me Make It Through The Night & many others to Kris’ credit.

He’s got a good voice, & he delivers in this album. Highly recommended.

Some of the songs selected shouldn’t be on any of these cds and I was very disappointed. I haven’t even listened to the whole collection because it doesn’t put or set you in the mood to enjoy them. Very disappointed.

Memories came rushing back with every song that played, in turn, filling me with nostalgia from back in the day. I am very pleased with the packaging and footnotes that really took you inside the music and the artist that created it.

I’m still listening to them all, and have not finished them. There are so many jam-packed on each cd it takes you a while to get through them all but well worth it! Sincerely, Misty Anaya.
