20 Best Vibrating Heating Pad (2022 Updated)

Best moist heat pack- I inherited one of these and use I used it every night for muscle tightness. It worked very well. However when it died, I tried an infrared and a ” regular” heating pad in it’s place- they just did not do the job, so I re-purchased this new one.

It is such a God-send. Thank you.

I bough the Theratherm to help with stretching my abdomen and my back. Love it. I use it to start my exercise routine.

I have been using this moist heating pad for years. Love you can set the timer on it.

This is not great. The neck rollers are too high so when you position yourself to make them touch your neck/top shoulders you are left in an awkward position. Second this is very short! If you are using it in an upright position sitting it barely goes to the back of the knees, even when you use it laying down it will not be long enough! I’m not an extremely tall person 5’6.

I really wanted this to reach my calf’s I have a lot of pain in them and the vibration isn’t strong either. I don’t plan to keep this I’m returning it after one use. Just too short and uncomfortable to use on neck.

The body portion was comfortable, the heat was good, good pressure on the massagers. BUT the massager “pillow” hurt so bad I couldn’t stand to use it! It was like laying on 4 bricks stacked with rotating balls grinding into the back of your head.

It was too high up to even reach my neck and it wasn’t adjustable. There is little to no cushion on the massager “pillow”, and the speeds were not adjustable on the head part so I could only try to bear the pain.

Fix the head part and it will be an awesome tool for those with chronic back and/or neck pain.

I have tried it for over a week and I’m split on it. I have insomnia really bad and this DEFINITELY helped with that to a degree (with mostly relaxing me at night). The down side is it shuts off after 15 mins and you have to keep waking up to turn it back on.

Another thing that makes it bad is the power cord comes a loose VERY easy. I had to put tape on it to stop that from happening. I have been debating on sending it back and I will if I find one what stays on longer.

Very good quality . Not really a study bible as system takes you thru several pages. Large print makes it easy to read and I really like the updated language. Not enough commentary or footnotes.

This is a great cream for your feet keeps them soft and supple also its proved very good for cradle cap its cleared the top of my head since I had a cancer op. last year and ended up with cradle cap its now gone.

I may only be slightly exaggerating when I call this calming heat/massage pad a life saver. It truly is one of my favorite things! I’ve been dealing with lower back pain since I was 16 – sometimes its worse than others.

Obviously, as I get older, I encounter it more, and there are times when I get a full blown episode and I’m basically down for the count. Fortunately, im usually able to avoid this, by noting when I feel it starting to be an issue and being proactive about resting my back.

This pad has become a great addition to this prevention and care. When I feel like my back is overworked and on the way to becoming a real issue, I use both the heating and vibrating functions. It feels so nice having the heat on my back,but the massage is what really seals the deal for me.

I lie on my stomach and take about 20 minutes or so to let this so its work. And honestly, it really does work. Doing this has already helped me stave off a full blown back episode. In terms of the pad itself, it is a great size!! I’ve used heating pads before but they tend to be relatively smalle.

This is a rectangular pad, so its nice and long – it is longer than my torso. Its also a good width and is probably a forearms width. The size makes it easy to actually drape across my body, in my case my lower back, and have it actually stay put and not slide around or have to be secured with something.

Its a decent weight, I believe because of the messages, but I think that also helps secure it/keep it in place. I also think the weight feels good too. The messager itself is good too, and is a nice steady vibration.

The heat and messager intensity both have 3 settings – low, medium, and high. They are separate options, so you can choose how hot you want it and how intense you want the mesaager, and can also do one by itself.

The mesaager shuts off automatically after I believe 10 or 15 minutes, while the heat shuts off I think after 2 hours? I usually just turn the heat off myself since I try to use this for shorter periods of time.

The only negative is you can’t lay down/put weight on the pad, which would be a nice option for me. I do understand though this may be because of the messager part,.

4lbs is not that much weight when distributed across the total size of the heat mat, so for anyone wanting an actual localized weighted blanket experience, the weight on this heat pad might not be enough for your back (though it does feel heftier on your front).

Unfortunately have to agree with the other reviewers that the vibrating functions are a gimmick at best — three levels of weak-ish (but loud) vibrations in pulse, constant, and ramping patterns, for a total of the 9 patterns advertised.

Then there’s 3 levels of heat — I use the highest level for my back, the middle level for stomach cramps, and the low/middle level to keep myself warm under the covers. And yes, it has two pretty sizable lumps in it for the vibrations, so you can’t really lay on this heat pad.

Pretty okay heat pad (aside from the lumps), sucky massage mat.

I would like to say this is the most amazing item I have ever received. I am going to be a bit descriptive in my review. I am doing this just so that everyone will understand a little bit about the item a little bit better than some of the reviews.

Firstly, I want to let you all know that I am a Massage Therapist and I give this massager a 5-star rating. Secondly, I had noticed that some of the reviews had complained that the massager does not massage the way they wanted it to, the heat not being able to shut off, and it doesnt go down to the lumbar region.

Let me explain that as a massage therapist this item is not meant to give you a Shiatsu-like massage. It is only meant to give you a vibration massage as it explained in the description. Next, I am 5 ft 3 woman who weighs 230 lb.

This massager is not meant to massage your lower lumbar area. It is more for your cervical and thoracic areas which gives a nice vibration in the shoulders, the neck, and the middle back area. The vibration is strong enough as if you are getting a Swedish massage.

Next, for those who complained about the heat and not being able to turn it off? You can turn off the key and still have a massage. The lower button that has the little squiggly lines all you have to do is press it once and it turns it off and you can still have a massage.

Personally I do not know what people expect from this massager, but I truly love it and I would recommend it 1000% to pay the money and get it. It is not the type of.

I’ve had this heat wrap/massager for 3 weeks now and it’s one of the best things I own. I suffer from degenerative disc disease throughout my entire spine. A regular heat pad doesn’t do much for anything except the lumbar spine while the Snailax takes care of thoracic and cervical.

When my thoracic spine acts up I just pop this on and within 20-30m I’m moving as if nothing was wrong. My favorite feature is the heated neck and shoulders. I love this thing and anyone suffering with back issues should own one.

Update Snailax sent me this wonderful shiatsu massage and heat cervical pillow when I claimed my warranty for this item! It’s amazing! I used it on my bed with a regular heat pad and my neck felt so good I passed out.

The neck pillow has straps to mount to your car seat and it comes with a cigarette lighter adapter that you could use for either the pillow or the neck and back! I love this company.

I purchased this product for my partner who has a very physical job and arrives home after work in pain each day. We have both tried the heating pad. Pros 1. The vibrating massagers in the pad are awkwardly placed in two locations on the pad.

They are bulky and don’t hit on the full back where needed. I think they would work better if the pad is placed just so on the body to have the massagers right on the area where it is needed. With full back application they hit the spine where back pain is usually not centralized.

2. The price on this product is too high for what it is. I have picked up similar products for a fraction of the cost and they have worked just as well. The weight factor of the pad is where it’s at for me so for that I give it three stars.

I wanted to like this item so very much. I liked the size, I liked the 2 hour timer. I did not like that is does not get terribly hot, even on “high”. The “massage” feature is essentially 3 large plastic lumps stratgeically placed inside the material that buzz and vibrate but ultimately prove uncomfortable and feel really cheap and poorly designed.

I think trying to put a massage feature inside a heating pad is not a smart idea and I will be avoiding future ones with that option. This item might work for you, it’s not defective or completely terrible, it just disappointed me.

I showed it to my girlfriend and after 30 seconds with it she summed it up best. “yep, it’s certainly a Sharper Image product”.

I just received this item, I only used it one night. However it worked wonders on my lower back. This is my first Massaging pad, other than a doctor’s office. Not saying it will work magic on everyone’s back, but seems to be pretty good for my lower back issue.

The massaging I exactly what I needed. I used the heat on high, it actually got really hot for a heating pad. Only one minor complaint, the heating pad needs to be a little bigger, if possible. Thank you Sunbeam and QVC.

I purchased the Massaging Heat Pad because I have restless leg syndrome and thought the massaging aspect might help me sleep. It works because it distracts me from the discomfort in my feet and/or legs.

The vibrations also spread across the bed and it is relaxing. The slight sound is like white noise. One odd thing is that the pad cover says which side to have next to the body and if the heat option is on the other side is the one that warms up.

Can’t turn the cover around because there is a place for the cord to come out.

Horrible very disappointing. Pad hard as a brick. Only middle of pad maybe an inch got heat, rest of pad no warmth at all. Unable to fit to area needing heat. Great idea with vibration but if cant mold to body part USELESS.

Maybe mine broken. have only used sunbeam heating pads with great success.

I didn’t know that I would have a preference with heating pads until I used this HoMedics Weighted Heating Pad with Vibration Massage + Humiditech. I absolutely love the weighted aspect of this heating pad.

Sometimes I would like a little heat on my back in places where it doesn’t like to stay in place. With the weight, I do not have this problem with this heating pad. It gets up to the selected temperature quickly and stays consistent for the time that I need it.

The vibration is a great feature for those fatigued muscles, though I almost wish there was a lighter setting. The pulse is another feature I didn’t know that I needed with the vibration setting. It may not be that big of a deal with some, but major points for the cover of this heating pad as well – it’s so comfortable against the skin and prevents it from sticking to you.

Overall, this is an amazing product that comes highly recommended if you’re on the lookout for a great heating pad.

I like the HoMedics – 12” x 24” Weighted Massaging Heating Pad. The product does come with a lot of great features like six massage settings, three heat settings, and an auto-off timer. The pad is weighted, so that it stays nicely on your back, or other places.

Another great feature is just how long the cord is – 12 feet! No more having to find an extension cord! I found the massage feature to be really nice, it feels great on my lower back, and you can use the massage and heat at the same time if desired.

I only gave this a four star review because I felt like the heat needs to be hotter. It gets hot, but not as hot as I would like it to be. It doesn’t take very long to heat up, which is also nice, and there are also storage straps so that you call roll up the pad for easy storage.

I can not stress enough how much relief I get from this weighted messaging heat pad. I typically come home from work stressed and tense. My job like many other jobs have been pushed to their max. After a day ar work I realize how tense I am and I simply grab my massaging heated weight blanket and I snuggle down.

I’ve put it on my back, neck and legs to relive the tension. It feels amazing and makes me relax. I sometimes have to fight off the husband but we’ll worth it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone for any occasion.

I love this thing. I bought it for my husband since he does manual labor and his feet often hurt, but I think Ill be using it a lot when he isnt. I think this is great for how much less expensive it is to similar products.

It seems sturdy, it warms nice and fairly quickly. The massaging balls in it feel sturdy and can take nice pressure from my feet without feeling like it is stressing the mechanics of it. It also has a 2 year warranty- Yes!! Awesome!I did try unzipping the cover and using it on my back, it felt nice but I think it really mostly excels at the feet.

I actually like that the massaging bits dont cover the whole foot since I can move my feet around and target different areas as needed, and some parts of my feet I dont like rubbed. What I do not like is the sessions are not long enough, I didnt time them but they seem maybe 15 minutes like others have said.

I have to keep resetting it when it stops. I wish it ran for 30 or 45 minutes, that would be great. Overall though Im very happy with the purchase, especially with the warranty.

This heating pad is great. I love the larger size the most. it really allows me to drape it over my shoulder or place it under my back and get the heat everywhere I want it. When I lay on it, it cover the entire length and width of my back (I’m 5’4 and small for reference).

It heats up very quickly, which was such a relief because I’ve had others that took forever to heat up. The 4 settings are nice, but I typically use high for myself and warm for my cat (she likes to sit on it).

The high setting really pentetrates deeply to relief pain and stiffness. Love it. While I’ve never needed the 2 hour auto shut off, it is a great feature in case someone falls asleep while using it. The pad is washable and easy to detach from the cord, but I haven’t tried washing it yet so I cannot attest to how well it washes.

Overall this is a great product that I intend to use for a long time.

This heating pad is wonderful! I was impressed with the quality and softness of the cover right out of the package. The minky fabric is comforting on your skin and is a good insulator of the heat. I recently had surgery and heat was recommended to the area, this heating pad was exactly what the doctor ordered! The size is perfect, it covers a large area and will nicely wrap around your torso covering a larger area than the older type of heating pad which we had been using.

The cord is long and sturdy which provides more freedom of where you use it. The control is digital, easy to read with 6 settings and an auto shut off after 2 hours to prevent burning! I was amazed how quickly this heats up (less than 1 minute).

HoMedics Plush Heating Pad is an extra large 12″ x 24″ size. It has a plush covering that is super soft and adds a layer of comfort to this heating pad. It has an extra long cord as well. Measuring 12′ there is plenty of cord to reach the outlet.

I love that it heats up in 30 seconds and has 6 heat settings. I can control how much or how little heat I need depending on how severe my pain level is and which area of my body I’m using it on. The larger size is great because it covers my whole back and spine when my back hurts and it also wraps all the way around my knee when it acts up too.

It has the capability to be dampened for moist heat therapy if and when it’s needed. It can be easily washed either by hand or in the washing machine if needed. It will automatically turn off after 2 hours of use so I don’t have to worry about leaving it on too long.

I love this heating pad.

So I’ll start with the pros: The material is soft and the seams are tight and it appears well made and sturdy. The heat function on it is very nice with a high and low limit. It heats up quickly and with the heat the very luxurious feeling material is comfortable against your skin.

And the cons: It’s bulky and uncomfortable wear, even just sit in and despite the super soft material. The massage the box purports is not massage at all it is simply a vibrator around your kneecap that has variable speeds.

It does nothing to calm or help the knee pain and all and to be honest a really good heat wrap without the half arsed massage would likely have gotten more stars. Overall 4/10 – the heat is nice and the material is soft also the manual is bigger and contains more information than I would expect however the massage is pointless and part of what makes it uncomfortable to sit in.

I have a history of back problems, and it can be tricky to find a comfortable heating pad. A lot of them slip, don’t get hot enough, or just generally don’t feel comfortable pressed against you. HoMedics, however, has found a perfect solution.

These heating pads are soft, weighted (no unfortunate slippage), and get to a warm but not too hot temperature. These let you get right to that thermal therapy. The only complaint I have is that it is on the smaller side if you’re a taller man.

If it were a couple inches bigger, then it really would be perfect for me. Overall, great product and worth it for anyone with chronic pain.

Tried this out on a sore back and it felt wonderful! Large enough to cover a good amount of space and the gentle heat was just what my sore back muscles needed. Evenly heats up quickly, without any super hot areas that will accidentally burn you.

The automatic shut off feature is wonderful if you fall asleep with it on like I did! The outside cover is super soft and very comfy, once the heat relaxes those sore muscles it’s a lot easier to get some rest.

The instructions say that once you remove the plug it is machine washable, but in a bit wary about immersing anything that plugs in into water, so I’m just careful when I’m using it to keep it clean.

This heating pad is a must if you are an active person and deal with minor injuries due to running/exercising. I use this on my ankles whenever I roll them and they are inflamed. The pad itself is a great quality soft material and it heats up really fast.

I’d say the pad is ready to go within 30 seconds. The adjustable heat settings are excellent if it starts getting too hot. The weight on it feels great on my ankle and it prevents it from shifting which is nice.

Another big plus is that it is machine washable. The only thing that would make this pad better is if it was wireless!.

I love how this is weighted slightly, the added pressure feels so good when I use this. My whole family has used this time and time again and they all love it, and reach for it anytime they need to relieve an ache.

I like the adjustable setting dial, and love the timer where it automatically turns off. Such a great heating pad!.

I prefer the Sunbeam King Size XpressHeat Heating Pad over the smaller pads. I can use it vertically to cover more of my back. I can use it horizontally to cover my back and hips. I control how hot I want it to get, and how long it stays on.

The pad gets hot, and stays hot. Every now I then I will get a dud that gets hot, but warms down. I just turn it off and restart to get that hot heat I like. Those are few and far between. I purchase Sunbeam for the size of the pad, and the dependability of the product.

I’ll be curious to see if this review is allowed to be seen on sumbeam’s web page. This is the 2nd sunbeam heating pad ive purchased within a month of eachother. First one stopped getting hot after 3 uses.

This one has been flashing “f” after the 5th use. I tried all the connections, no extension cord etc, tried holding down power whilst plugging in (a few times). Nothing works. Done with cheap sunbeam products.

I am absolutely in love with my Sunbeam XpressHeat Heating Pad. I have never had a heating pad that heats up so quickly. The cover is so velvety soft. And get this, it has 6 heat settings on the digital controller.

I don’t have to use a towel with this heating pad, the velvety soft cover works perfectly. I so recommend every family have one in their home.

I have been using Theratherm heat pads for more than 20 years. This order replaces a large pad that I have simply worn out as it has begun to work intermittently. Theratherm performs as advertised.

Expensive, but well worth the price. This is by far the best heating pad I have ever used. It is heavy, so not as pliable as others. It heats evenly and you can easily control the temperature.

Best heating pad I’ve owned. Well worth the money. You get the exact temp you want and it holds it unlike cheaper pads that never really get to temp and don’t hold it.

Best and softest heating pad I have ever owned. Does not have the stiff feel like most heating pads and settings are accurate. Low setting is too hot on some heating pads but this one is not. Very satisfied customer.

Super easy controls. Larger size helps a lot with lower back especially. Very comfortable. Also brings relief for Crohn’s and other abdominal cramps. A real blessing at a good price !
