I bought the vive vibrating platform thinking “We’ll see if it’s just hype”. I am trying to be proactive about my health since I’m disabled and getting older. My worry is that I’ll loose the function of my legs due to my Siatica, RA and osteoarthritis.

Absolutely! My Roommate has used it too and he thinks it’s at least a 4 star rating only because the plug slips out of the socket on the machine. He’s 62 and swears off the GYM and home exercises so, in his words.

An interesting little device that to me at first glance looks like a mitten or like a small bluetooth speaker. The device stand about 3. 5 inches tall and has a purplish light at the bottom. As with a lot of things these days, it’s app connected and you can’t use this without the app – you must register the device with the app before you can get anything out of this device.

The app setup was fairly painless, and supported major identity providers for quick setup (I believe the list included Facebook, Google, Apple, and of course – create your own local account with them using your email.

). Once you set up the device, with the app – you can either use it in tandem with the app or you can use the device independently with the settings you programmed. The big thing you program with the device is the force at which the device vibrates and the duration for each section of your face.

he app divided your face into four parts (Roughly – forehead and nose, each cheek, and your chin/neck area. ) I started with 10 seconds for each section and I set the intensity to 4. The first time I used the device, I think I may have been pressing too hard – you somewhat have to have the silicone bristles make contact with your face, but not press down hard enough that the body of the unit is in contact with your face.

The Luna 3 started with my forehead/nose area for 10 seconds and then it makes a pulse in the vibrations to let you know it’s time to move to the next part of your face. The process repeats until it’s covered all four sections of your face.

Since then, I have not found the need to use thse app much, as the device remembers your preferneces so you can simply grab it and go about your daily cleansing routine. You do need the app to reprogram the routine though.

So far, I’ve been using this for about a week, and I use it in the shower after my daily shave with my regular Acne clenser. As a man, it’s sometimes tough to gauge any type of change on our faces with what we put them through on a regular basis – including shaving.

Using the machine does feel good, and I do feel that my face feels less oily overall with the acne cleanser I use with it – almost like this devices opens up your facial pores and your cleanser can do its job a bit better.

I’m not a dermatoligst, so take that with a grain of salt. I’m going to stick with this though as if nothing else, it feels good on your face. Included in the box is the device, a carrying pouch (Gentlemen – the one that came with my device is pink), a USB Charging cable, and a sample of their facial serum.

I have not tried the facial serum – as I’m really trying to get a gauge as to how it works with my acne cleanser. Overall, its an interesting little device that I do like, however it is a bit spendy for what you get.

The app functionality is interesting and does make the cleansing routine easier to set up, but I suspect a bit of complication could have been left out and the device could be about half of the price.

However, you can’t put a price on good looking skin and this is where I hope this thing is taking me!.

Out of the box, this seems like a hip/modern product. Great packaging that sells you on this being a premium item, much better than just some plastic shell. This is marketed as being “for men”, but really can be used for anyone, nothing about this sticks out as being needed to be used by a single gender.

The included goodies are also puzzling as it comes with a USB charging cord, a couple samples of face wash/serum, and a pink carrying case… just a puzzling color choice for a product made for men. I’ve had an electric face scrubber years ago so I was very interested to see how the technology has changed over the years by using this.

I have to admit, I’m wildly unfamiliar with the FOREO brand but when my girlfriend saw this, she was beyond reasonably excited for me as apparently FOREO is a reputable brand. Here is where I dock a star from them.

This is YET ANOTHER electronic item that uses an app for setup and usage. I swear my phone now about one hundred apps, about ten I commonly use and the rest are for nonsense like this where you’re required to have an app to use but then pretty much never use the app again, even though I’d use the scrubber more if there wasn’t an app attached.

Here’s why… The app makes you login, share your details all that, and now I’m getting multiple emails a day from FOREO which is over the top for a premium item and how many emails do I need about a face scrubber.

The app is largely used for setup, it allows you to program a mode where you elect how long you want to scrub each section of your face. It breaks the face down into top, bottom, left and right, and you select the duration you want each scrubbed and the intensity.

This is fine in practice but without even using the scrubber yet I have no idea what I want the time or intensity set to so you’ll have a lot of trial and error up front in establishing the one mode you get to use.

One your pre-set, customized mode is activated, it’s the only mode you can use until you go back to the app and change it. Having a couple pre-set options would’ve been helpful. The app also has preset “massages” on it where you can elect a massage that lasts a couple minutes and the device will walk you through which area to rub your face as it vibrates.

This is fine in practice but seeing as the device is waterproof and I keep it in my shower, past the testing phase I’m never using this feature. There’s no desire to go fetch my phone while I’m showering to do a facial massage, nor while I’m not showering to go to the bathroom and fetch this for a 1-2 minute massage that doesn’t even feel great.

Using the device as a facial scrubber is where it shines. The grip is easy to hold even while wet in the shower and I’ve always felt like I’m getting a better clean than using my fingers and less damaging than a washcloth.

I have very sensitive skin and psoriasis but this hasn’t been an issue to use. If anything, maybe a placebo effect, maybe not, I’ve felt it makes my skin look better and younger. As a result of use, my skin just looks tighter, but science shows that it should as massages/vibrations draw blood to the area of impact and if you’re drawing more blood to your face/head it’ll naturally appear this way, it’s not ground breaking science.

All in all, the effects of use are where this device shines but the puzzling carrying bag and mandatory app with spam emails are where they fall short. Consider this when buying.

First and foremost. I’m so mad lol. I received this like two months after I got myself the PMD elite facial brush with the rose quartz on the back and that was expensive so I don’t know if I’m more mad that I wasted money or that I love the FOREO sooooooo much more.

There’s no comparison. The PMD one is good and it’s cute but there’s just something about the FOREO that feels like a more gentle clean but there’s also a lot more silicone bristles that just do their job and I have a bad habit of grinding my teeth so it’s really nice that once I’m done washing my face at night I can’t flip the device over and use the massaging aspect to go along my face and try to use high vibration to workout and relax my facial muscles which has actually helped.

This device does its job so well. It’s better than any other facial thing I’ve ever tried and I’ve had the one from vanity planet and Clarisonic. I’ve had the PMD one and even tried this all silicone one from flawless beauty that a friend raved about but nothing beats the FOREO magic.

The only flaw is that I wish it was purple and I wish I was sent the Luna 3 plus just because I think having the warming sensations would feel really nice while washing your face. However I love this.

I love how it pairs to my phone and it’s so customizable for how you want to do your wash routine and how long you wash each part of your face before it reminds you to move on. If I really had to nitpick and give a real thing I dislike then I don’t exactly love how my eyelashes and little hairs somehow manage to not only get down in between the bristles but it’s hard as hell to get them out without fear of ripping anything off and running water through them doesn’t really help so it’s a whole process but also I’m a little OCD with cleaning my devices when I’m done with them so even one tiny thin eyelash being stuck in there makes me kinda lose it but other than that I’m telling you this is top tier for skincare.

I don’t think there is any better brand out there for it. It’s a little weird that FOREO is based in Sweden and they advertise it so much but my product said it was made in china. But either way I’m in love with it so it don’t matter where they make it because it works beautifully.

i saw no videos so can’t comment. can’t figure out how to put the hand straps on. the remote is BS. other than that, it’s beautiful pink and seems to work great after fiddling with the buttons for a while.

we’ll see if it lasts the 30 days i have to try it out. if it doesn’t, back it goes. used it once and it feels GREAT. hope it lasts a year at least. if so, it’s a good investment.

I got this mostly for my achey legs at night. I use it on low for 5 to 10 minutes prior to going to bed. The buttons on controller and base is hard to decifer. Instructions are poor and could be clearer.

Doesn’t explain what the programs are. The bungie excercise bands are kind of short. Also I used on carpet and the feet on unit left black marks on it. Had to clean the carpet and put a rug under it when using.

But I have to say it does eliminate my leg pain at night. This is made in China.

The device is a great portable size, has suctioned feet for hard-surface flooring use, as needed, but works great on carpet/rugs too! I desperately want to give this watch five stars. I bought this for my husband. He loves its rugged exterior, design and function. The only place this watch fails is in the band. Whoever thought a single loop was best for the excess band strap really did the watch a disservice.

A single loop forces the wearer to choose between either using close to the fastener to keep it flat against the wrist or wear it at the end of the excess band strap to keep it from catching on things, but sacrificing comfort at the fastener.

Without a second loop, the fastener turns inward toward the wrist cutting into it. The military colored and textured band is perfect but that single loop wasn’t good. I bought another rugged band on your website which has the second loop.

Thumbs up. My husband uses it daily. But I hope you get rid of single loop bands on all watches that have them. They’re not a good idea.

I’ll start off by saying that I REALLY like this watch. It has all of the standard stuff like stopwatch, timer, 3 different alarms that can be set for weekdays, weekends or both. It also has a second time zone that you can easily switch to if you frequently travel between two different time zones.

The band is very sturdy and permanently attached so you’re stuck with it but it works great and is very comfortable so far. The buckle on the band is perfectly curved to hug the band of the watch so it’s not sticking out and snagging on things.

Also, the end of the strap has a notch in it that a lip on the free loop/keeper drops into. No more band flopping out of the keeper! It’s small details like this that are very much appreciated! I only have two cons and one of them is subjective.

The subjective con is the size. It IS kinda big but considering what a lot of people are wearing around these days with smart watches, it’s a comparable size. Smart watches are nice and all but why spend hundreds of dollars on something that needs to be charged every other day (give or take) when I can just spend a LOT less on this, not have to charge it and this is a lot more rugged? It *can* get in the way if you’re working in tight areas but pretty much any watch can.

The second con is the same as what other people are saying about the display: it can be hard to read in certain lights. I kind of figured that would be the case before I bought it so it was something I was willing to deal with.

It’s really not THAT bad, though. Generally I can just move my wrist a little and I’m able to see it. If it’s too dark, the Indiglo light is more than sufficient. Overall, I think it’s a great watch so far and I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a rugged, comfortable watch that tells time.

I’ve only gotten a few splashes of water on it here and there so I can’t attest to the waterproof nature of it but I’m really not worried about that part of it. I’m sure it will be fine.

I’ve used many Timex Expedition watches over the years and they work great for me. They have simple, useful features (alarm, chronograph, illuminated face for night viewing) and a slim profile that fits under your sleeve (unlike many outdoor watches).
