20 Best Victrola Record Player (2022 Updated)

We got this as a household gift, so that we can play and record our collection of records and tapes. Unpacking the unit was easy, set-up was easy, with clear instructions. We have used the turntable, tape and CD functions which all work satisfactorily.

We have not yet attempted the record function. Sound quality is acceptable, but not wonderful. This did not come as a surprise, and, of course, we can always use the provided cables to plug into our home stereo for improved sound.

Tuning into a station on the FM receiver is not great. The dial is sensitive. Having said that, listening to FM was not the purpose of the purchase so this is not an issue for us. The recording procedure came as a bit of a surprise to us.

We had hoped for a simple “plug ‘n’ play”, i. e. , plug in a USB drive, play a tape or record and the music is recorded onto the USB. But, it is more complex than that. A CD is provided to install software (Audacity) on your computer, then you must use the provided cable to connect the Navigator to the USB port on the computer.

Your music is then converted to MP3 on your computer. From there, it can be loaded onto a CD or thumb drive. The recording process should not be an issue for me, but may be for some who are not computer literate.

The CD format for the software could be an issue for those who do not have a CD drive in their computer. As it was I have to transfer the files from the CD to a USB drive and then to my laptop. Instructions for using Audacity are on both the CD as well as the Audacity website.

All in all, I would say this unit offers good value for the price (under CAD$200. 00).

The Victrola Navigator is like a child’s toy, dressed up in vintage design. The quality of this product is very low. I’m disappointed, but I guess “you get what you pay for”. The turntable does not spin “roundly” so both 33 and 45 rpm play with a warped sound.

The cassette deck does not have a reverse function, and the fast-forward function is unbearably slow. The speakers are terribly low quality, and there is no equalizer – not even the most basic treble and bass function.

I had to go out and buy an auxiliary set of speakers for it, which really offset the low cost of the system. The radio antenna is so weak it only picks up 2 stations, where my other radios pick up about 12 stations in my area.

The USB would not read my iPod at all. When I plugged it in using an AUX cable, the sound was so incredibly weak and muffled it was totally inaudible. The volume only goes up so high so I was unable to get it to a level that was even worth listening to.

The quality of the buttons and knobs are very, very cheap. They are very lightweight, very thin plastic. I have not attempted to use the Bluetooth function. The only thing that works OK is the CD player.

Overall, I would never recommend this to anyone to purchase. I’m only keeping it to “tide me over” until I can invest in a real, higher end stereo system someday. I would have given it 1 star, but I bumped it up to 2 stars purely based on the aesthetic.

The vintage design looks cool and the product is made of real, substantial wood.

First of all, this comes **with a CD** with recording instructions and software. Last time I had a computer that came with a CD drive was around 2012. Secondly, I expected from the product description that digital conversion would be onboard the record player.

Older images I’ve seen of this record player have a RECORD button, just stick in a flash drive and record your album to mp3, right? No, that’s not how this works. This requires that you connect a computer and learn how to use very geeky open source software — **if** you can even get that software running if you have a Mac.

You can get around the “no CD drive in recent history” problem by downloading the app from audacity’s website, but even on a computer with the proper specs as stated on the Audacity website, the app not only does not launch but completely hangs up your Mac requiring a hard shutdown.

You will spend hours on the world wide web trying to find the answer to these problems and you will have to register on the Audacity forums, post your dilemma and hope that someone gives you an answer.

Then if you can ever get Audacity to launch you will spend hours learning how to convert to mp3s from vinyl. Again, it’s an open-source software title with no support from Victrola, and this is NOT an app for beginners and you will spend hours learning how to use it.

If you only want a record/CD/cassette player & radio. from the other reviews it seems folks are happy with this cute product. But if your goal, like mine, is to digitize your vinyls and especially you are on Mac — or even on Windows but don’t have a lot of time to learn an exceedingly geeky app called Audacity with no support from Victrola for their product — look around for something different.

I’ll be very sadly returning my cute Victrola to Best Buy and will keep researching an easy way to convert my albums.

Overall I really like this machine. The sound is pretty good, and it does almost everything I want. It would be awesome with CDs if I could press random for songs or something like that, and the cassette controls are a bit lacking, but to be honest I really only see myself using the Bluetooth and record the most.

Wood wise it came in great condition with one little mark on a corner. The grain is lovely and not a cheap cover. The reason for the star off is that the hardware to download records is on a CD. Almost no computers have CD slots anymore (well, laptops at least) and I think a USB would have been wiser.

They also did not inform you of the CD so I assumed it was something my pc could run, and when I got it I realized I would have to borrow someone else’s CD/DVD player or buy my own which is another $25 dollars.

The other reason for the star is Walmart keeps changing the price from $99 to $149 every week (I got it for $99). Just pick a price Walmart! Finally, Walmart is great with returns, I accidentally bought the 6-in-1 and they accepted it wonderfully.

I wanted one of these for years. So happy to find this one. My husband bought it for me for Christmas. It is way worth the money. The sound is amazing!!! It was packaged so good I didn’t want to repackage until Christmas so we put it out as one of my early presents.

It even has the Me TV channel with all the oldie songs which some regular players don’t even have. Thank you for a great record player!!!.

I am impressed with this buy. The records play as they should since I am a jazz record collector. mostly records from early 50’s. The sound is perfect as i don’t like sound thats been changed in so many of todays new reissued records on c.

I was absolutely amazed my 6-in-1 Nostalgic Bluetooth Record player arrived in 3 days of being ordered. It was a birthday gift for my daughter and arrived in sufficient time. I own one & my daughter wanted one just like mine.

I absolutely love that you can play record albums, CD’s or cassette tapes & is equipped with Bluetooth as well!! Very pleased from beginning to end, from ordering online to receiving the package in 3 days!!! Way to go Victrola we will certainly be doing business with you again!!.

I don’t know what’s going on with record players and Walmart, but this was the THIRD one that I’ve bought with them and the first two quit working after one time of using. According to the manual, this meant the belt fell off.

I returned the first one to Walmart and was told they didn’t have any that cost what I paid, (even with a receipt) and would have to pay another $30 to replace it. I didn’t. A couple of months later, I decided to try again and paid a bigger price, hoping to get better quality.

I didn’t. Again, it played one record and the belt fell off. I returned it to Walmart and was told I couldn’t exchange it, but could get a gift card, Walmart’s of course, for a fraction of what I paid.

Again, my receipt meant nothing. I decided to take it back home and try to fix it myself. How hard could it be to put on a belt? Well, short of slamming it with a hammer (and I was tempted) there was no getting inside this and still be able to use it again.

Many months later, I thought maybe enough people had complained that maybe they had straightened this problem out. I ordered not only a more expensive one, but a whole different company. A Victrola. A name we grew up with and trusted.

I had a sick feeling when it was delivered with a hole in the side of the box that looked like a poke from a forklift. I also bought a 2 year Protection Plan, so if this one behaved like the others, I had backup with more coverage than the first two.

This one was even worse. It rattled when we took it out of the box and never even played one song. I tried to return it and again, was told it could not be returned, (this time even a gift card wasn’t offered).

Funny, all three times I tried to return these, management was never there. I’ve worked retail all my life and NEVER, NOT ONCE, was there no management available. I’ve tried calling and calling and there’s also no one who ever answers the phone, no matter how long you let it ring.

These record players are trash and Walmart is not far from them in my book. Let’s see if they use THIS review!! DO NOT waste your money on these.

I received this record player as a gift for Christmas. I literally played the recorder 3 times and after that, the player sounded as if the speakers were blown. I connected the bluetooth and music coming through that way sounded fine.

After calling “customer service” numerous times, I finally spoke with someone that gave me a couple of different things to try (including BUYING a new needle), which didn’t change the poor sound. As i’d already put a claim in, received an email suggesting similar things that the cust service person I spoke with recommended but it still doesn’t play.

I’ve since tried to call at least 10 times and have sent 2 additional claims, all with no response. I even replied to the person that emailed me the suggestions, that they didn’t work and that I tried some additional things.

Still no response. I just want the record player that was paid for to work. nothing more, nothing less. Replacing it would have been good, but I’ve heard nothing.

I am not unhappy with my purchase. It looks very nice and given the price I am not surprised that the sound quality is not very good. The record player allowed me to listen to some of my old records from childhood and that was my primary goal.

The cassette player made all my cassettes which sound OK on other machines sound garbled as if there is a problem with that particular feature. The radio is actually pretty good. So overall I am not unhappy but I’m certainly not amazed.

If anyone thinks they are going to get all these options with fabulous sound on a device this size they are delusional.

This is my second Navigator. I loved it, BUT the first one only worked about 2 months, then plain quit…would NOT POWER UP anymore. So after communication with Victrola, I was sent a second unit. It played once! The second time I turned it on, the speaker for all components of the unit was so badly corrupted with static, I can’t use it.

I don’t know if I should ask for a third unit or not.

I purchased the replica player for one reason. To play my 78 record collection. At first I was disappointed in the sound quality of the speakers. But then I came to realize, this is probably how the folks of the 40s and earlier heard this music.

I like the looks of the player. When the tone arm completes play, it does not automtically return. After a bit, it does stop at the end of the record. So it suits what I bought it for.

It’s not often that practicality meets functionality but that’s exactly what the re-spin pulls off. The small device has a solid enough sound system to get the job done while also packing in modern amenities like bluetooth streaming.

The small device is very easy to store but also doesn’t ruin the vibe of your decor if you choose to leave it out. Furthermore, the effort to make consumer electronics more sustainable is noble and should set an example to others in the space moving forward.

If you are just getting back into vinyl and are not super precious about your sound and don’t want to spend a grip of cash, the Re-Spin is dope. It looks like a retro old school turntable fits great in my small studio apt, and the sound is decent.

I usually pair it with my Bluetooth speaker to get a better sound. Prob the best at this price I’ve ever heard; smokes their other crap + cover pops off to display your records.

This compact portable unit is very good at a low price. I wanted a versatile record player that has its own built-in amplifier and speakers, but can also be played through my stereo system or my PA system.

The built-in sound is “thin” and limited, but not bad and improves greatly through a bigger system. It’s auxiliary line-in jack allows me to play a cell phone or CD player through it. I don’t have blue tooth speakers, but I’ll be interested to try the blue tooth wireless capability sometime.

The turntable is very basic, without advanced features or automatic functions (except for auto stop at the end of a record), but it does the job well and plays at a steady speed, for such a compact and inexpensive unit.

I should note that I had to replace my first unit of this model, because no sound came out. The Best Buy customer service desk ordered a replacement, and it arrived quickly. The replacement unit works perfectly.

I am new to the Vinyl hobby and was looking for a record player to play the records I have recently bought. I thought this might be a good start, but I was met with a few issues that might not be worth the price to performance.

To start, the audio quality is sub-par. It’s as if you had a speaker that was just amplifying a sound from a smartphone without any bass. However, you are able to connect RCA cables to connect to an external speaker which makes the sound a tad bit better.

The bluetooth works fine – a bit tricky, but fine. You would just need to make sure the record player light is blinking while your bluetooth speaker is searching and attempting to pair. I’m not sure what it is, but this record player skips certain parts of one song on one of my records.

I tested it with another player from the same brand that I ordered online and it had the same issue. However, when trying the record on another player it does not have the skipping issue. Giving it three stars because it does play, but I don’t think this is worth it.

Ended up returning it for another record player.

I already own a good-quality turntable with Bluetooth functionality, but the all-in-one, portable nature of this Victrola Suitcase Record Player really intrigued me, and I was very excited to try it out.

It is a great looking record player with a vintage feel. However, it is up-to-date with its Bluetooth functionality, which worked perfectly and sounded great with my Bluetooth speaker. The built-in speakers on this record player are not too bad, but if you’re looking for very good, loud sound quality, you will want to use this with either a Bluetooth speaker/headphones or a corded one.

When I first tried to play a record on this record player, I experienced an issue where the needle was losing traction of the grooves in the record, which caused the music to jump ahead frequently. Thankfully, this record player included an extra stylus, so I installed that one and the issue was fixed.

But despite this relatively minor issue, I think this Victrola record player is a convenient and accessible option for someone who is just getting into vinyl or someone who just wants a portable record player with the advantage of Bluetooth functionality.

I was gifted this record player for Christmas but unfortunately the sound was distorted – I tried two records, both brand new out of the sleeve, and both sounded bad. Ordinarily this wouldn’t be a major problem.

I have submitted three different inquiries and have yet to receive a response from Victrola. Three separate requests to simply exchange the defective record player for a new one but not a single response.

These are busy, difficult times but it’s been over a month now with zero communication from Victrola. I have no doubt this company manufactures fine products and in all likelihood, I simply received a damaged record player.

But based on the complete lack of customer service, I advise caution and scrutiny when considering purchasing any Victrola product. In the event your item is damaged, you may just be stuck with it.

This is my first ever record player. I love how affordable it was, I love how simple it is to use, I love how my very few records sound (going to start building up my collection!), and I love that I can also use it as a regular Bluetooth speaker.

Absolutely awesome piece! If you want an easy to use turntable with good speakers that’s easy to use even by the most inexperienced, this is what you need.

My boys bought this for their sister for Christmas so my review is what I have gathered from things they have said. They paid a lot for shipping with the understanding it would be on time for Christmas.

It was atleast a week after Christmas before it arrived. The wood looks like it might be a laminate on the corners but the plasticy sheen definitely wasn’t expected. My daughter said the sound quality was decent.

All in all, they still liked the style just wished the wood was a little more natural.

I liked the looks of this vintage radio, but when I got it, I wished the speaker cover on the front was more contrasting. It’s exactly the same color as the cabinet. The online picture showed it to be a little more contrasting.

Anyway, that would have enhanced the look of the item. We’ve not played records on it yet, so I can’t address that. The speakers are not as good as our very tiny bluetooth speaker (about the size of a big ice cream cone).

We compared and our BT speaker has a much richer sound, but the vintage radio speakers are okay if you don’t compare them. It’s nice to be able to plug your music into the front and it’s a very nostalgic reminder of days gone by.

In the picture it looks like nice, but in person it looks like a cheap 90’s reproduction. Very visible seams on the corners where the weird wood pictures join together. I think of Magnolia as having well made things that work well and look nice, so this didn’t really line up.

I’m going to keep it at least for now, because it does sound good and I’m pretty sure my kids would break records in the suitcase style, but want to give others a heads up. Wouldn’t recommend.

Nowadays the vinyls are back and there are many reasons why I personally think this is happening. Starting by the cover, 12x12in dimension that allows you to enjoy the art and many other details that the composer/singer was willing to share, you cannot have that level of appreciation with a CD format.

And you are going to listen the sound in its pure format, Stereo conceived, nothing complicated, no fake sound, compressed or altered, only just pure stereo. My daughter was very interested moving from the digital format to the vinyl, but every time that she was trying to start my Old Stereo system, you know, my old school Turntable, the Phono pre-amp, the Amp, etc.

, she panicked. So I decided to get for her an entry level turntable where she can start her learning process in the vinyl world, and appreciate my huge collection of vinyls, and this Victrola Turntable does the job wonderfully.

This is not only a turntable but it is also an amplifier, with BT connectivity. She liked it as soon as I got it. The look, the size, it is not as big as the regular turntables, it fits perfectly on top of her nightstand, with a vintage look, and espresso color.

The setup was so simple, it comes with a round paper with instructions on top of the plate that you can follow the directions, and as I was expecting it is going to be, basically took out the plastic covers, connect the Power adapter, and in less than 10 min the system was ready to rock.

The clear dust cover has the option to close it while it is playing the record besides the fact that the turntable is a little smaller than the record, which is cool. It has built in Amplifier and 2 stereo speakers where you can hear the record while is playing, the sound is really good and the way it equalizes, plus the tone arm, and it comes with anti-vibration technology, which prevents the stylus to skip even if you turn the volume knob at the maximum, something that I was afraid might happen, but not in this case.

But the unit is also a Bluetooth amplifier, so if you connect via BT your cell phone or tablet, and look for Eastwood, you can stream your music through this amp, very cool. It does not have mic, it will only work as a BT Amp.

On the top front you have a Display Screen that will show you if it is in Phono mode or BT. But you also can do the opposite as well, you can stream your vinyls to external Bluetooth speakers, very easily.

The Stylus is the very well Brand Audio Technica, that has gained good reputation for its products. Everything comes pre setup, there is no option to adjust the counter balance tonearm, but for the tracking force is around 3.

5grams, which is within the specs. Sound is really good. No skipping tracks, or the annoying hissing noise. I think part of the success is the Audio Technica Conical Stylus, which has a good frequency response and as well the design of the Tone Arm.

It has the 3. 5mm headphone jack on the front top, and RCA Stereo connectors at the back, in case you want to connect directly to an amplifier, but it is a preamp signal, not phono, which is great so you don’t need the extra preamp in between.

I was surprise that it is capable to play any size record, Speed selector has the 3, 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM, not even my old turntable has the 78, however it is nice to have it. It also includes the 45 rpm adapter.

We played all type of music, Rock, Classical, etc. , and all my vinyls performed very good in this little fella, my daughter is very pleased on how easy it is to operate, and that she can stream her digital music as well.

Finally you can also stream your vinyls to external BT speakers or BT earphones by pressing the BT Out button, and pairing with the BT receiver, it is recommended that your receiver unit is closed to the Turntable while is in paring mode.

After the connection is done, you can placed almost anywhere, it has a really good range, specs states 30feet but I think it is a little more than that. So far I haven’t had any issues with the performance of this turntable, no distortion, no skipping tracks while playing.

The sound is powerful and pleasant. I am very pleased with this choice.

The Victrola Eastwood Signature Hybrid Record Player is a nice unit and has some great features. Following are what I have found to be the pros and cons: PROS: – This is a nice looking record player, with dark wood (Espresso color) and a textured grey finish.

It looks really nice on my TV stand under my mounted TV. – It is very easy to set up and operate. – I love the fact that I can connect it to my external Bluetooth Speakers via the Vinyl Stream Bluetooth Out feature.

I have connected it via Bluetooth to my TV soundbar and subwoofer and also to an external Bluetooth portable speaker. Connecting it to a nice speaker or soundbar/subwoofer is where it really shines, as the sound of my vinyl is great when played on the Victrola Eastwood and paired to one of these devices.

I have played multiple albums from different genres, loud and soft music, acoustic, male and female singers, etc. They all sound great! – You can also connect it to an amplifier as it has an RCA line out.

You will need to purchase the RCA cord, but this will easily allow you to play it through your amplifier. – It also has a 3. 5mm jack to listen via wired headphones, or you can also connect to any wireless headphones through Bluetooth from the record player.

– The record player has the ability to play 33, 45 and 78 rpm records with a slide switch to select the speed and there is a 45 rpm adaptor included. – There is also a switch that allows you to select either manual or auto stop.

This allows you to choose between the player automatically turning off at the end of the record, or continuing to run until you manually turn it off. I have mine set to auto and find this to be a nice feature.

– It has a cue lever to raise and lower the tone arm slowly. – You can also use the record player as a Bluetooth speaker without playing vinyl. Just pair it to your phone or other Bluetooth playing device and you can play music from your phone through the record player speakers.

Upon pairing, there are then controls on the record player that allow you to play/pause, skip forward or backwards, and change the volume. – The unit comes with a silicone slip mat on the turntable to reduce any vibration.

CONS: – The only real con with this system is the sound of the built in speakers. Obviously, based on the small size the speakers have to be to fit into this unit, I wasn’t expecting a big sound. The sound of the internal speakers was muddled, didn’t have much bass, and with much volume it also starts to distort.

However, as previously mentioned, by pairing it to an external Bluetooth speaker, you can get whatever type of sound quality you want based on the type and quality of the speaker you are pairing it to.

Once paired with an external speaker, the built in speaker turns off. Since sound is important to most people who play vinyl, you may be disappointed if your only option is to play your music through the built in speakers.

I highly recommend pairing to a good external Bluetooth speaker or connecting it to an amplifier and home stereo setup, as this will give you great sound. – Likewise, while the ability to connect using the built in speakers from your phone to stream music via Bluetooth is a nice added feature, if you hope to use this as your only Bluetooth speaker system, the sound of the speakers may not be what you are looking for if you want any kind of volume or like a heavier bass sound.

For my purposes, I really like the Victrola Eastwood, since I pair it with some external Bluetooth speaker options and get great sound. I would definitely recommend this record player in that type of setup.

This Victrola record player is a great choice for casual lovers of vinyl that want to listen to records wirelessly. It performs admirably and does a great job of bringing the legacy format of vinyl into the digital age.

Connected to quality headphones or speakers, it produces warm and impressive sound. This compact and versatile player is easy to use and place. It can be placed anywhere you have room, as long as it is near a power outlet.

It has the capability to play over speakers built into the player, wirelessly over Bluetooth, or using cables. I really appreciate the ample connection options that Victrola has provided! My personal preference is to use the Bluetooth transmitter to connect to a pair of reference quality over the ear headphones.

The Bluetooth connection was rock solid, and I had no problem connecting and maintaining a connection. To share music with others, I was also able to easily connect to an external Bluetooth speaker. I found the sound quality of the Bluetooth connection to be excellent.

It is virtually indistinguishable from a wired connection and superior to using the internal speakers. The sound quality of the internal speakers is adequate, but do yourself a favor and use quality headphones or external speakers, you won’t regret it.

Records offer a unique sound quality and need quality sound drivers to really shine. I also tested the player with the headphone jack and as expected, the sound quality was excellent. I won’t use the unit that way often because I don’t like being tethered to the player, but the headphone jack can be connected to any speakers that have a headphone audio input.

There is also a pair of legacy RCA audio outputs on the back of the unit. While not being marketed as portable, I think the small size makes the player easy to transport. The dust cover protects the player, but can also be removed to facilitate being placed in areas that have a tight fit.

Victrola put much of the engineering effort into the really important aspects of this player. It features a quality Audio Technica AT-3600LA magnetic cartridge that really makes a difference. There are better record players out there, but only for much more money.

If you are looking for a nice entry level Bluetooth record player, look no further.

I’ve never had a vinyl record turntable before but have a few vinyls from an inheritance, so I’ll admit this was a learning experience for me. We did inherit the player too but it’s very old and broken so never got a chance to actually play any, so I was excited to give this a spin (pun intended!) Upon taking everything out of the box there’s a few things to put together, which for a newbie like myself was a bit daunting but not difficult.

I made sure to study the instructions thoroughly, so I did not miss anything. Mainly you put the big metal platter onto the turntable deck and the silicone slip mat on top. There is a belt under the platter that needs to be stretched so that it goes around the motor on the top left of the deck.

They provide a piece of ribbon taped to the platter that will help you get the belt attached. Once that is attached then I was confused because the manual says you need to adjust the tonearm “or damage may occur to the unit or records” (scary!) but there was another note that says this is already done for you so I just skipped that step, removed the shipping foam from the weight and tonearm, and connected the monitors via the line out cable included.

It would be nice if the manual itself mentioned that everything is setup for first time use. The dust cover is easily attached via removable hinges or can be completely left off if you’re installing in another cabinet.

Again, I found a discrepancy in the instructions as they say the hinges come preattached to the back of the unit but mine were found in a small box labeled accessories. At this point I’m impressed with how the system looks and nothing seems out of the ordinary except for that there are only 3 rubber feet on the bottom which due to my inexperience with turntables I’m not sure if there’s a reason to not include 4 but it makes the whole thing a bit wobbly.

I don’t think the feet are adjustable and couldn’t find anything in the manual about it, which seems odd because I would think you would want adjustable feet so things could be made level Now, when it comes to playing records I found that the included monitors sounded ok, but are not wow by any means.

They can fill a medium sized room but are a little bright and uninspiring. There’s not much bass at all. I actually settled on using the vinyl stream feature and listening on a good pair of Bluetooth headphones.

The monitors themselves also support Bluetooth if you needed to use them with a different source. Now here’s where both my inexperience and the poor instructions hurt me. I didn’t realize until SEVERAL DAYS of using this thing that there is a small little lever (called a cueing lever thanks to Googling) to help you gently move the tone arm precisely on and off of the record versus dropping it by hand.

I scratched a perfectly brand new record (yup heard that authentic record screech sound and all) because I was unaware of this feature. The instructions said use the “lift lever” which I thought was just the little lever on top of the cartridge for your finger.

Pros: Beautiful Espresso Aesthetic All-in-one System Weight and anti-skate tuned out of the box Phono Output Switch Cons: Instructions could be better Is not stable, bit wobbly Monitors are bright Overall – The turntable is great for anyone who wants a good midrange setup: affordable, produces great sound and the overall package just looks great.

However, for a more pleasing experience you could just get the turntable instead and pair it with better monitors or a stereo system.

You are probably looking at this because you are just getting in to vinyl and this is a cool looking unit with a lot of features and it doesn’t break the bank. The radio and bluetooth all work well enough and it is an attractive design, but the record player is junk.

It sounds awful. After doing research on why it sounded so bad, the turntable has ridiculous amounts of wobble causing a distorted sound. I upgraded to a dedicated turntable and wow. it really highlighted how garbage the record player is.

I’m giving 3 stars because the speaker quality is good and the design is nice, but the turntable is terrible.

This product will not last one year. We went through 2 of these in one year. We thought the first one was maybe just something wrong with that one so we got another one. NOPE. Second one has died. It will not power on, same issue as the first one.

This record player looks good, but now I have a big paper weight box. I will not buy another Victoria product because I tried to contact them about this, and they will not do anything about it.

I was so excited to finally use this record player, but once I got my records and played one, I turned the volume all the way up and could still barely hear it. I’m going to have to purchase speakers to attach to it just to hear what’s playing.

I could have just played the music from my phone in that case. It’s cool looking and sounds clear. if you listen really closely, really really closely.

I really wanted to like this. Sounds great through the bluetooth speaker I bought to go with it. But the issue is the unit fails to power on most of the time. I can plug and unplug the wall adapter and can eventually get it to finally power on.

This is not a loose or bad connection issue, but a problem with the electronic power switch. Other purchasers have had the same issue. I even purchased a third party wall plug, hoping that was the issue, but no luck.

Sadly, I had to return it.

I never write reviews but I was shocked with how terrible this company’s customer service was. I needed to return this record player because although pretty, it did not play my dad’s old records well.

They were scratchy sounding and the volume is so low even on the highest setting. I tried for weeks to get a hold of someone to start my return with no luck. I finally received a call back today and was able to get my return started.

However you have to pay the shipping cost to return it which was about half the price of this machine!! As well as a 15% restocking fee. should have just kept this machine and tried to resell it. Over all really disappointed with the customer service.

I have always been hesitant to buy newer record players. I gave this one a shot and I have absolutely loved it. It has Bluetooth capability so I can connect it to other speakers or my sound bar. I love the classic, simple design as well! Make sure to always keep the cover on or even put a towel on top because the needle easily collects dust.

I already knew this product and it is second time I buy it. I like it very much since I gifted it to a friend of mine and had the opportunity to listening to it. Of course, it is not a high-end audio device but it covers pretty much all kinds of family requirements for day-to-day entertainment purposes.

The sound is clear and well balanced, even though it comes without an equalizer. And it is impressively powerful for its compact size, covering big rooms or even small houses. It does not come with a remote control, which is something I like too, transporting me to those old days in which you needed to leave your coach for a while to operate the controls of your home devices.

Obviously, it has a strong potential as a decorative item as well, and I guess all buyers are motivated by this feature. In summary, a more-than-decent retro-styled audio player with multiple functions at a competitive price.

I received this as a Christmas gift and was super happy, until that is I unwrapped a brand new vinyl album and attempted to play it. This skips, nothing I have done stops the skipping. I have pushed down the bar as instructed and it will work for half a song and boom, skip again.

I have tried putting a coin on the stylus (old school trip) and nope nothing. I would return this if in my cleaning frenzy did not discard the packaging and can’t return without it. Don’t bother with this, get a simple turntable to play your albums.

I would give this 0 Stars in every category if it was allowed. I absolutely do not recommend this.

Absolute garbage player. I went through three of these, and all three skipped horribly on brand new vinyl. The arm cannot handle modern records with any amount of bass. Victrola sent me two players to replace the defective one and they all had the same problem.

I suspect the arm is improperly weighted. I’ve tried with Victrola support for two months straight to make this work. Nothing helps. Now I’ve got this pretty looking device in my office that I can’t play vinyl on.

This is my first experience with a record player and I really enjoyed it. It’s super cute and pretty compact. The speakers aren’t amazing, but they’re not bad at all (although my dad, a longtime vinyl listener, definitely disagreed).

This record player worked great with all my 33’s. Unfortunately, I have one 45 vinyl that sounded super distorted here, but I’m not sure whether the issue is with the record player or my vinyl. The Bluetooth option was nice and worked well, although I probably won’t use it that often given there are better speaker options out there.

All in all, I like the convenience of this record player, and I don’t mind sacrificing a bit of sound quality for now.

I recently received this record player and this is my first time using one. It was super easy to use the directions were clear and coherent. The switches on record player are easy to use when switching from Bluetooth to record player.

It also has an aux option which is very neat. Also, it has an option in the back to connect a speaker system. The speaker has great sound quality because it sounds very clear. I love how cute the speaker is in a suitcase and the size is great.

This is great for beginners like me that don’t know much about record players. Overall, this is amazing well built record player.

The vinyl player is beginner friendly. It has the added feature to be able to control the speed of the music by speeding up or slowing down the audio. It is a compact and lightweight which makes it easy carry around.

It also comes with an additional needle which is a good. As far as audio quality, the speakers are fine but they lack bass. There is also no equalizer to adjust the sound quality or tone. I feel that this is more of a basic vinyl player and it doesn’t have many features.

I still enjoy this vinyl player and have bought some new records to listen to.

I was in the market for a record player to convert my vinyl collection to digital MP3s. I got a good deal on this record player! We purchased a Journey record player for our niece a while back. We got a discount code from the Journey purchase which worked on this Profesional Series USB purchase.

By using this code, I was unable to get a free promotional record holder with my purchase — disappointed but understandable. After the record player was delivered, it was very easy to set up with the instructions.

But I soon found out the record player had a couple of problems. First, the lock mechanism for the tonearm was broken. It came with a twist-tie and I thought that would work for me. Then I found out the lever to raise and lower the tonearm was also broken.

So, I contacted Victrola support and they helped me through these problems and had me using the included software to start converting my vinyl collection to digital MP3s in no time! Victrola’s support was great and made this purchase experience EXCELLENT! I would recommend Victrola for anyone in the market for a record player! With the USB port and the software, I was able to listen to the records using my computer’s speakers.

Connecting to a Bluetooth speaker was very easy also. I like the weighted counter-weight, it was useful when playing some older records. The optical strobe effect is neat but only seemed to work with my 45s.

The strobe light did not show the proper speed for my 33s. The record player seemed to play my 33s, 45s, and 78s at the proper speed right out of the box without any adjustments, but having the pitch/speed control is nice to have.

The record player also has an anti-skating knob that I did not have to use, but having that control is again nice to have. Don’t forget to register your record player for a free needle!.

shipping carton had holes punched in it, interior carton side pushed in. record player not damaged. the turntable platter has scratches in the aluminum top and along the strobe side. outher wise ok. suprised that it does not require a ground lead no hum what so ever, played on input 1 tracking works ok, set counter weight to 2.

5 grams counter weight right on the mark. when you look at the bracket that holds the cartage. the back end is really close to the record. but no problem. the unit is quite heavy, the quartz lock ok.

if you look at the audio technica AT-LP120XUSB for $249. 00 look almost the same. but for the money the Victroa is a decent value.

I think this is a really nice turntable that produces good, clear sound. Maybe an audiophile could tell it’s not a $5,000 model, but I am perfectly happy with it. I have it paired with the Denon M-41 mini system and use it to play my vinyl from the ’60s – ’80s.

It sounds great, seems well-built, and is easy to operate.
