20 Best Video Editing Chair (2022 Updated)

I purchased this chair as my 7 year old, run of the mill chair was starting to break down. I will split this review into two parts for the chair and the customer service. Chair: Overall, the chair is built very well and I love that it comes with an aluminum base.

Setting it up took all of 5 minutes and all the adjustments worked perfectly. The seat, hand rest and headrest were very comfortable. The hand rests do not come with the typical foam padding, but do not cause any discomfort.

The lumbar support was a little too aggressive for me, even on it’s lowest setting, and I found that the chair started hurting my back after extended use. For that, I’d give the chair a 4/5. Customer Service: I had to reach out to customer service twice.

The first time was when I received the chair – I noticed it had some scuff marks and such and the CS representative easily and quickly offered to rectify it with an exchange or partial refund. I chose not to go ahead with either at the time as I was still trying out the chair.

The second time I reached out was when trying to return the chair. I was having difficulties packing the chait and was stressing about it for multiple days. The CS representative I worked with could not have been better – she calmly documented my concerns, swiftly worked with internal teams and brought my issue to a resolution within 24 hours.

I cannot thank the teams enough and truly appreciated their support. For the way both instances were handled, I’m giving Customer Service an easy 10/5. Overall, great company, with good products for the price and, outstanding Customer Service!.

like many others, working from home has been brutal on my shoulders and lower back. after looking into tons of ergonomic chair brands, i decided on this chair and i’m so happy i did! this chair makes the long hours of sitting at my desk MUCH more bearable, and i think it’s a great value compared to other ergonomic chairs on the market.

in particular i love the seat, especially compared to my previous chair which ended up getting dented from sitting in it for so long LOL. this has the perfect balance for me of being both cushioned and supportive.

i also love how wide the seat is so that i can comfortably sit cross legged, while still having my head and back supported well. the only thing i don’t love is that the arm rests aren’t cushioned, as i have a (bad) habit of leaning heavily into one side, but maybe that’s an intentional design to prevent that.

i would also recommend having two people assemble this. i did it on my own and while it was doable, it was a little challenging to lift the heavy chair and try to place it into the base without being able to see where i needed to put it.

other than that, assembly was pretty easy. but overall, love this chair!!.

The chair feels really great to sit in, and is a significant improvement to my previous chair. The high back and head support have greatly reduced my neck and shoulder pain from my daily work from home setup.

The number of adjustments I can make as far as head rest height, arm rest heights, and the lumbar support height and adjustment sure is much better than what I used to have, and helps customize the support for where I need it.

Having a small pocket at the bottom of the chair is something I’ve never seen, cool feature to have been snuck in the design. I enjoy the cushion seat, though it’s more difficult to get my cat’s fur out of it than my old mesh chair (lol) but it’s quite comfortable.

I do wish the chair could go slightly higher and that the arm rests were a different material than the plastic they are – if I accidentally scratch them on another surface (bottom of my desk perhaps) then it’s noticeable and permanent.

But the chair sits and feels great, and I love the support it offers and that it makes sitting at a desk all day without pain a possibility again!.

I work from home, sitting at my desk for eight or more hours per day. I had been using a relatively inexpensive but very comfortable mesh chair, but over the years, the mesh seat material stretched, and it was bottoming out.

My wife who also works from home has a very comfortable Serta chair that has held up well. I considered an X-Chair, but after reading the reviews, I decided it probably was not worth the money. I then considered a Serta, but after reading reviews of chairs on Best Buy, I found that the best ones seemed to be “gaming” style chairs.

I am a big guy (6’3”, 250lbs) so I needed something substantial, and with a tall back. This Razer chair had good reviews and some nice features, so I figured I’d give it a try. I’ve had it now for several weeks and probably spent about a hundred hours of time in it.

There are many things that I really like about this chair, but there are a few things about it that I wish I could change. Overall, I like it and it’s definitely very comfortable, but because of a few minor issues, I can only rate it 4 stars.

First, I’ll mention the things I really like. It was very well packaged and easy to assemble. It is heavy, though, so some people may need help carrying it around, especially up any stairs. It has many adjustments that make it easy for me to find a comfortable seating position, whether I am sitting upright and typing, or leaned back to take a break.

I really like the fact the angle of the back is adjustable separately from the seat cushion. It uses a lever, like a car seat without electric adjustments. The armrests adjust so many different ways – up, down, fore/aft, side-to-side, even angled – that I’d think anyone could find the perfect position for them.

I also like that the chair’s tilt angle can be locked not just in the flat position, but in three different positions. The padding is firm but supporting, and the lumbar support, though not adjustable, is just right.

The seat back is plenty tall for me, though the detachable pillow sits just a little bit low. The seat is fairly wide compared with other chairs which is nice for larger people. Now, some things I wish were different.

The chair sits up fairly high even in its lowest position. Even though I am tall, I prefer to sit lower. The fix to that is to get a footrest for the floor. Another thing that would make this the perfect chair is if the seat bottom cushion were either deeper or would adjust fore/aft.

Again, I’m a tall guy, so this may not be an issue for shorter people. Finally, the fabric is nice, but it is not as cool as the mesh chair I had or even the Serta chair in my wife’s office that is leather.

Of course the trade-off with mesh is less support and that it stretches over time, but leather would have been a nice option. Overall, I think this is a great chair. It seems to be well-constructed and is comfortable.

I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

I’d give this chair 5 stars if it wasn’t for the multiple defects it arrived with and my so far pretty bad experience with razer support regarding the issues. Poorly constructed seat base that makes farting sounds if you move your left leg even slightly.

For some reason the inside of the cushion rubs against itself and it cannot be fixed or adjusted without ripping the seat apart and essentially breaking it. Razer support told me I’d get a replacement, but shortly sent me an email basically asking again every question I already answered during my 1.

5 hour chat session. They are trying to do everything they can not to remedy the issue and save themselves money. I weight 150 pounds. This is my main issue with the chair and with how razer is handling their brand new product.

The 4D armrests are extremely wobbly, like to a ridiculous degree. They come pre-installed and cannot be tightened because I see no accessible screws. I probably just got a early unit with awful build quality or just got a repackaged reject.

For $400, its pretty pathetic. It wasn’t anything I did wrong during installation. They wobble like half an inch up/down front/back left/right. Its kind of funny actually how big a fail they are. I can deal with this, though.

Another part of the chair rubs really loud. The backrest on the left side where it screws on rubs against the plastic covers. This I can actually remedy myself by putting some sort of material there, but the first issue cannot be resolved.

WOW! What a difference! I’ve been working remotely for just under 2. 5 years and during that time, I’ve been using my counter height dining room set as my desk and office chair. The chair was OK, and I made it work but I longed for a chair tall enough for my counter height table and one that had the general functions of an office chair.

This is it! It’s comfortable, can swivel, and can recline slightly and it has folding arm rests! Just what I needed. I wish it could recline a little more but it’s not a deal breaker.

Extremely comfortable. I’ve had sever joint surgeries and finding a comfortable desk chair has always been a challenge. At being 5ft, the foot stand is a plus as well. The arm rests have a nice cushion and there’s a lot of back support.

The color and finishings matching well with my desk. 10/10 would recommend.

The chair is made of high quality materials and is so well-designed! I like all the features. Even though it is advertised as a receptionist/office chair, it has the same features as a drafting chair which is what I needed.

I’m completely happy with it and was able to put it together without too much effort.

I’ve been working from home for over one year now, and after only 2 months sitting on this chair the cushion that supports the back of your thighs started to fall out from underneath the chair. It’s simply a piece of foam, and no matter how hard I shove it back, it keeps coming out.

My legs end up sitting on the frame which is painful and cuts off the circulation in your legs. Overall the design of the chair is nice and it used to be quite comfortable, but I would not recommend it for its cheap built.

The only space in our small apartment to have a desk is on a corner of the granite counter bar/island between the kitchen and living room. The counter is much higher than a desk, and the old chair, fully extended, still left me with my arm resting on the counter at shoulder height.

When having to work with a mouse for any length of time I was beginning to develop an uncomfortable shoulder issue. The Veer Drafting stool’s seat height, fully depressed, is approximately 22″ from the floor which is perfect for eating, playing cards or writing at the counter.

Fully extended the seat height is about 30″ from the floor, perfect for getting on top of any other work I need to do at my “desk” for extended periods. The price could not be beat for the quality and comfort of the chair, it’s compact design takes up less space than the last chair, and the assembly was simple and painless.

Furthermore, it seems to be more than sturdy enough to last for years for someone my size, around 200 lbs. Great purchase and Lexmod was straight forward about the delay in supply which was short and exactly what they said it was going to be.

I highly recommend this chair and Lexmod.

It has been awhile since I sat in a decent office chair but as soon as I sat in the Flash Furniture ergonomic office chair, I could quickly feel a difference and realized I have been missing so much by not using a quality office chair such as this.

This chair is very comfortable as the mesh provides a breathable fabric and ample airflow for seating long periods of time. I really liked the adjustable headrest, armrests and tilt option, as all very easy to use.

The lumbar support was amazing and very much appreciated as someone who has had back surgery. I welcomed the comfort and no-strain seat support. The chair itself was easy to put together and wheels are easy to move around.

I have owned other full mesh chairs, the back and seat being mesh. They were more costly and therefore more comfortable. The first thing I noticed sitting in this chair was it felt like sitting on a brick.

But nothing a folded up blanket didn’t fix. but that did take away the reason you want a full a full mesh chair, and that is you don’t sweat while you sit. I spend a lot of time a my desk. I practically live there.

I work from home and I never go anywhere. So I sit in this chair when I’m not sleeping. period. So I was disappointed in my decision to go with the cheaper brand of chair. My fault no one else’s.

The Razer Enki is an amazing chair and exceeded my expectations. I am using this chair both as an office chair and for gaming. It works for both in my opinion. After reading reviews, it seemed like the pillow was going to be useless but it is actually my favorite feature! I am also six foot tall so I feel like this chair fits me like a glove.

I think that’s why the pillow is fantastic – it hits just right for neck and head support. I could see someone being much taller or shorter having a more difficult time with the pillow. Other positives are the recliner feature that I use while gaming and the lumbar support is hard which I like.

I have back relief while sitting in this chair. Lastly, the quality is top notch and setup is a breeze (they even give you gloves for installation which they jokingly call work gauntlets). Negatives about the chair include the thinner cushions.

The cushions are on the thinner side but they do not bother me too much. Also the lumbar support is nonadjustable. It is on the harder side so keep that in mind. Overall, I would recommend this chair, especially if you get it on sale.

I’ve first owned an AK Racing brand and then some other smaller brand before this Arozzi. The AK Racing was similar quality, but I replaced it because the bucket style seat really hurt my wider butt.

Also it was a kind of cloth material rather that faux leather, which collected cat hair like nothing else. The other brand was non-bucket seat, but got extremely squeaky and the hydraulic failed within a couple years.

This brand is the best of both. Be aware that all these gaming chairs are a bit difficult to assemble yourself, but far better than the off brand which had its screw holes recessed and very hard to line up.

Just get someone to help hold the pieces while you screw it together.

Okay the chair feels good, but only if assembly is possible. I would give a 10/10 on assembly difficulty due to very poor design on the arm rests and chair. You will need a team of at least 4. One to screw in, one to use lots of strength holding the chair in place so the screws fit perfectly, one to hold a flashlight the make sure holes are perfectly aligned, and the other as a substitute when someone from the assembly team gets tired.

DO NOT BUY THIS THING IF YOU LIVE ALONE, AGAIN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ASSEMBLE BY YOURSELF. It just cannot be done. Assembly time, took about 9 hours. I had to wait for friends to come over and assist me.

They agreed that this thing was badly designed for assembly. Hydrate before putting this thing together. After a work day + overtime for assembly, I suppose the chair is comfortable enough. 9/10 on comfort.

At first I though this was a Great chair but its NOT first and foremost they are using the cheapest foam in the arm wrests and the seat after the first two months of me barley resting my arm on the arm rest the foam has flattened and now all I feel are the screws coming up from the bottom of the arm rest.

The seat foam too was very firm and hard when I first got it but eventually it also sufferers from permanent deformation and flattening. The lumbar pillow also does not stay in place and constantly slides up your back and has to be readjusted all the time.

I would never buy anything Arozzi nor do I recommend trusting this company.

I’m autistic and my special interest has been cows for several, several years now. I discovered this chair a bit ago and couldn’t stop fixating on it and eventually saved up enough for it. The chair looks identical to how you’d expect from the photos.

My only gripe with it is that, mine at least, has an issue with the up and down thingy. It doesn’t really go back down after you have put the chair to the highest setting and the only way I have managed to get it to go back to a lower setting is by having my boyfriend bounce on it while pulling the lever.

We checked everything and we put it together perfect. I’m assuming we just got a bad egg. Also, my one other thing, literally so simple, but it comes with the little cow stuffed animal. I don’t mind how tiny it is.

It’s kind of comedic actually. The thing that irritates the living heck outta me though is that the ear on the left was sewn upside down and oh gosh, it’s both funny and so unsatisfying. But all in all, I adore this chair.

It’s beyond comfortable, easy assembly, and perfect those of us who adore the beautiful bovines.

This chair is everything I wanted. It helps bring my room together with the aesthetics. It has amazing support with the memory foam seat and head pillow. I can sit in it for hours without any pain which is something i’m not used to being a college student who is always in front of a screen or at a desk.

I love the lumbar pillow, some other reviews said it made no difference but i place it where the arch of my back is and it gives me such good support – I am very small girl though. another note is i’m 5ft tall so my feet don’t touch the ground even with the chair being as low as possible which caused pain in my knees due to my feet dangling, but an easy solution for that was getting an ergonomic foot stool.

Technisport did an amazing job with this chair, but for us shorties we need it to go a little lower! especially since this is a chair that women will gravitate towards. Besides that, it’s lovely.

If you don’t have it, get it! I bought this to use when I start streaming. I love this chair so much! I was so excited when I ordered it. I probably tracked it everyday lol. It was out of stock when I ordered it so it really only took a few days to get to me after they restocked.

It came in a cute box (I won’t ruin the surprise). I put this together by myself in less that 30 minutes. Very easy assembly and very good quality! I’ve had it for a few weeks now and use it every night that I play games.

It reclines pretty far back without breaking or falling backwards lol. If there was one thing to make it better it would be a leg rest but I knew it didn’t come with one and that’s completely fine and no problem at all!.

I cannot stress how big of a disappointment this chair is. The folks at Relax the Back were great and really tried to make this work. The chair sucks. I have had to have several replaced due to various failures.

I’ve had the massager part replaced three times and it still doesn’t work. I bought 10 chairs total for my home and office. Most were returned with a restocking fee. Buy from these guys, just don’t buy this sh!tty chair.

It may appear similar to some sub-$200 desk chairs, but the X-Chair really is much better and I think worth the money. Very good value on sale, as mine was. Some assembly required, but nothing that should give any trouble to the average Canadian Tire DIY customer.

It is the non-headrest version; not an issue for me. Top quality materials, fit, and finish. no squeaks 🙂 If it lasts as long as I think it should (10 years), then the cost amortized over that time isn’t very much.

The chair itself is pretty good, however the constant squeaking of the chair back when moving back and forth in the seat was very annoying. So much so that I had to return the chair. I expected better quality at that price.

So this chair is great for me but my 6’2 husband not so much, which is fine because I got it for me, it’s MY chair, so he shouldn’t be sitting in it anyway. I call that a win. I happen to think it’s actually really comfortable especially considering how cheap it was.

Looks nice enough and it was super easy to assemble. Seems pretty durable. I’ve spent a couple of days in this chair working and so far not one backache. Delivery was fast. No damages with any of the equipment.

I don’t think it’s an overstatement to say that this chair may be life changing for the office or a work at home environment. I got it because I’ve been spending more time working from home, and wanted a decent chair with a headrest.

This chair goes far beyond my expectations. For one, it’s extremely comfortable for long periods of sitting/working. Second, the amount of configurability options make it perfect for a variety of situations.

If I need a ten minute break, I can just pull the lever and lean way back and get some rest. If the arm rests are in an annoying position, those are adjustable too. And of course, the height is as well.

I’m currently actually not using this chair because my girlfriend was having back problems based on her current chair, so we switched. She’s stopped having back problems and loves the chair just as much as me, so I’ll be getting a second soon!.

I will first say that this is a really nice looking chair. The stitching on the black leather parts is in white which is a nice touch. As far as features, there are a bunch. Mainly the chair has multiple angles you can tilt the chair back.

However, I would caution if you angle is all the way back (which is nice at first), make sure you don’t raise your feet onto an ottoman or anything. My chair tipped backwards. So clearly the weight distribution is off.

Some other feature are the built in headrest which is comfortable, and the adjustable arms of the chair. You can slide them forward or backward. I like how the seat hugs your legs. Reminds me of my car.

Assembly was overall pretty easy but just a tip, towards the end of assembly there are side brackets that go on. Note they are different and intended for a specific side. Overall it’s a comfy chair with lumbar support that moves around easily and has adjustable height.

I cannot describe how much I love this chair! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. This chair is for everyone not just gamers. It is luxurious, hello leather and detailed stitching. It is very comfortable and you can tilt it to almost any angle.

It is a great chair to watch tv, play games, or as an incredibly comfortable office chair. Treat yourself and get this chair or buy it for your loved one. It was easy to put together and each piece is made from quality materials so I know it will last for a long time.

The armrests also adjust to multiple angles which is great. It is also larger than most chairs which makes it much more comfortable to sit in especially if you are not petite. I recommend this to everyone, buy yourself or your loved one this throne, we all need one in our lives so happy I have mine now.

Buy it now. Dont even think about it. I have been looking high and low for a chair to game in. My husband has a very expensive SL chair but I dont game enough to justify the price for one myself. This chair is even more comfortable than his.

I have alot of back issues and on my monthly (tmi sorry) get extremely bad back cramps. This chair is so comfortable to sit it especially during that time. i recommend it for everyone. I put it together myself in 45 minutes but anyone who doesnt have a toddler could probably do it in 20.

I am 6’4” and use this chair for when I play video games on the Xbox. I have broken a few regular office chairs over the years so I needed something more well built. I am happy to report that this has a nice sturdy frame and a high back.

Putting it together was very easy. Only thing I wish is that it was a little wider in the seat area because it doesn’t seem to be much wider than a normal office chair. Overall I am very happy with it.

I have had back surgery and so was looking for a chair that gives support and is comfortable since I work from home now. This chair has been fantastic! I don’t even feel like I need to stretch. I just keep working with no back issues.

And it was easy to assemble. I’m a woman with my own tools so I will say that mine were better to use but I put it together in no time. Def a great buy.

I have had this chair for about 3 weeks and it is honestly the best office chair I have ever sat in. Worked in admin for nearly 20 yrs so have met the good, bad & ugly chairs! This chair is big enough for me to sit with my legs up in various positions, as well as the ‘normal’ sitting posture – I’m average build and there’s plenty of room on the seat.

Love that the arm rests move so you have the option of a rest and freedom of movement. The back is perfectly moulded, supportive but squishy and doesn’t stick in you in random places or make you hunch forwards.

I didn’t expect to like the height but actually I’m finding it good to be able to rest my head back. Love the rocking feature too! Has all the usual; height adjustable, 360 turn, wheels. All but one arm (strangely) was easy to assemble, my partner sorted that with a screwdriver.

Absolutely love this chair, well worth the price and has made my work day so much better through it’s comfort.

This is a sturdy well built lovely looking chair esp in light grey. The arms fold up so you can slide it completely under the desk which is great so saves space. Great quality construction and I can safely sit on it for 8 hours and still feel comfortable and I’m 22 stone.

I was sceptical at first but I highly recommend this chair it’s one of the best office chairs I’ve had in my 22 year office career. It’s a reasonably priced office chair that really delivers!.

Bought this particular chair after reviewing lots of others, mainly for the excellent idea of movable arms allowing you to actually push the chair under your desk. However I also found it was so easy to erect, I’m saying that because I’m 72 years old and have breathing problems, it is also really comfortable.

All in all, a perfect purchase and coming from Rymans it also gave me peace of mind, a knowledge that it was competitively priced and the ordering process and follow up was first class. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this chair!.

Now that I’ve been working at home far more often, I’m spending a lot more time in my office; working by day and gaming by night. A few years ago, my very old office chair started to fail in different ways.

some adjustment levers stopped working, and eventually the plastic on one of the arms split open. I taped up the arm and lived without certain adjustments, but I knew that I’d eventually need to replace the chair.

Well, I finally did. and I chose the Akracing Office Series Onyx. I’ve now been using it for a few weeks and I can honestly say that I didn’t waste my money. it was the right chair for me to buy. First of all, the chair arrived in a large carton that was impeccably packaged.

Every part was carefully wrapped and/or boxed, and secured in it’s own section of foam. Nothing was missing. Included in the package was a pair of white gloves (to prevent oils from your hand from transferring to the chair during assembly) and the necessary wrenches for assembly were also included.

Assembly turned out to be fairly easy, but I think the instructions could have been a bit more clear. The instructions themselves are illustrations-only, and are meant to cover a few different models.

So for each assembly step, you have to make sure you’re looking at the correct illustration because there are distinct differences between the models. Akracing does provide a web link that you can go to for more-detailed, text-based instructions, but I didn’t try that.

I did however manage to get the chair assembled and, looking back at it now, it wasn’t very difficult. As I said though, you have to examine carefully the illustrations in order to understand exactly what it is you need to do.

Let me say that this chair is very comfortable. I’m 6′-2″ tall and weigh a little under 170 lbs. This chair is more than enough for me. I’m able to slide the arms of the chair out to accommodate my rather long arms, and the headrest is high enough to for me to actually rest my head.

As for the width of the chair, it’s easily enough for folks much bigger than me. The leather is very comfortable and the various levers let me adjust the chair perfectly to my liking. (You can even recline a full flat 180 degrees, although I don’t see myself using that feature very often.

) One thing that I wish was a little better is the lumbar support. Actually, it’s just a lumbar pillow that you can choose to either use or not use. There’s no way to adjust it (other than perhaps trying to position it in a different place behind your back).

It’s not attached to the chair in any way, so it often “falls down” whenever I get out of the chair. As for it’s comfort, it provides “OK” lumbar support, but there are times I wish I could adjust it.

It’s certainly a nice touch, but don’t confuse it with chairs that actually have built-in lumbar support. This isn’t it. Overall, this is an extremely well-built, sturdy, and comfortable chair that should last me many years to come.

I chose the real-leather model and I do believe the chair is worth the price. Even with the few nit-picks I mentioned above, I would certainly consider buying this chair again.

Too high! I’m 5’9″ with the seat in its lowest position my heals are 1/2″ off the floor, which is very uncomfortable after a while. My son who is 6’1″ adjusted the seat to be comfortable for him (without discussing my problem) the point of comfort was with the seat in its lowest setting.

Conclusion the gas strut is too long or the wheels (which are 3″ (76mm) in diameter) are too big. I have modified the chair with a super short gas strut, it is now excellent. But the additional cost doesnt sit well.

I was really surprised at how easy it was to assemble the chair. I had so much trouble in the past with assembling my desk chairs. I had to basically make the whole thing before putting it together, so I was really glad that it took less than two minutes to put this chair together.

The only issue that I have is that the color is very subtle. When I tested it in the store, the color was more bold and red. When I assembled the chair and looked at it from afar, it almost looked more pink than red.

I love red, and the boldness of the color, so I was a little disappointed by the subtleness in the chair. When you are up close, you can easily tell that the chair is red, but other than that, it’s not as clear as I hoped for it to be.

I wanted something made in USA, sleek enough to fit in my living room, supremely comfortable and not crazy expensive. This is probably the only chair that fits all requirements. The all-white design goes well with other aspectis of my living space (i.

e. no black, no excessive chrome). There is not an excessive amount of hardware on the device, levers are discrete, I did not want a big black hardware contraption in my living room, but it is nonethless sufficiently adjustable.

I like that the seat, as well as the back, is nylon webbing, keeping me cool in the hot summers. I feel comfortable promptly siting in it after comng in all hot and sweaty from the outdoors. No worries about staining the apholstery, because there isn’t any.

The only thing I did not like is the design of the seat back, it seems disproportionatly large and odd-shaped. But that is purely a matter of taste. Got this on sale at R&B.

I have been working from home for a while now and had been making due with a dining room chair as my office chair. Since my WFH is likely to continue for the foreseeable future I knew I wanted a better office chair that offered better support.

This chair is the perfect answer, extremely comfortable, provides great lower back and ergonomic support and is affordable. I wish I had gotten it sooner as it makes working from home so much better! I sit at my desk most of the day and didn’t realize how much not having a proper chair was impacting my body.

Bought this for my craft room. Brilliant chair, can adjust no problem depending on which table I am using.

I purchased the black camo chair one year ago. Let me start by saying that customer service is stellar! The hydraulic on my chair went out and the seller was quick to respond as well as ship me out a replacement part.

A few weeks later, I has another issue and reached out again. Once again, they were quick to respond and resolve the issue. As someone who has worked from home for a number of years, this is not always the care your receive for the products that really make your day easier.

I own 2 of these chairs and am anticipating purchasing another for my daughter since she’s now working from home. I’d definitely recommend!.

The faucet is trash, also the directions are not great. I had to do some YouTube videos to figure it out. The basin is handmade so it definitely is not perfect, not an issue just so you know what to expect.

I’m very happy with the sink basin. I already ordered a new faucet. If you try to keep the faucet just know it says to have a distance of 10. 75” on center between the faucet hole and the sink basin drain hole.

I wish it was a little less because it actually drips behind the basin a bit when you shout the water off. I would probably do more like 10. 25” on center between each hole.

I’ve had my Specter Chair for awhile now, purchased in Oct. of 2020 almost 2 years and I must say that overall it has held up to wear and tear. I am a 6 foot 250lb guy and it has not torn or ripped or had any mechanical failure that wasn’t present as soon as I got the chair.

That being said, there are some downsides. First, the wheels seem to degrade and leave black specs all over the floor that almost cannot be removed by normal means. My office floor is made of laminate flooring so I didn’t think it would be that hard on the wheels of a chair and I was proven wrong.

Obviously not a functional issue but causes problems for officers when your floor looks like it’s covered in old chewed gum at times. The seat itself is pretty comfortable and I’ve been able to sit on it for extended periods of time without any issues from the actual seat, Personally wish it was just a little bit wider but I also have big legs but I’m fine with it, so A+ there.

Before we get into the biggest downside, I also need to complement the breathability of the chair. It is very good at removing heat and I have not been hot while sitting in this chair ever. A++ in that category.

The back of the chair is by far the biggest downside. It’s constructed of 2 pieces that are connected together in the middle back and that connection with, a little bit of foam on it, that i think is suppose to serve as your lower back support.

Unfortunately, all it does is end up being very uncomfortable and even causing pain as it pushes on my back all day. There is no way to adjust this portion of the chair to reduce the amount of “support” you receive from the back and there is no additional padding, you just have to deal with it.

When you’re sitting in the chair using the locked upright function, the chair takes on a natural 3-5 degree backwards slope. I find that it slopes too far even when it’s in the most upright setting and wish that it would be more upright.

There is about 1/2 an inch of play from leaning back to the locked upright position before it stops you from reclining so that when you are sitting in the chair you’re constantly at a reclined angle or you’re sitting upright with no back support.

The mechanism that stops the back from reclining is defected on mine and has been since I received the chair. It will randomly lose the ability to keep it locked and I will very quickly fall backwards.

I believe it’s because the system is hydraulic and not steel arm based and perhaps the lever is working it’s way to the “unlocked” position. it is very easy to move from locked to unlock. Overall, I would not purchase again due to the middle back pain it causes and the automatic unlocking and almost dumping me out of my chair at times and I believe there are more comfortable chairs that offer the same breathability.

Easy to assemble, shipped very quickly with no shipping damage. The chair is very comfortable and sturdy. Bought this to replace another gaming chair that was only about a year old. It was just too uncomfortable after a few hours.

No problems with this chair. However you need to remember the chair does recline as advertised. If you’re like me and don’t remember that when testing out your newly assembled chair. You are very likely to scare the ish out of yourself.

Great chair, extremely comfortable. My only complaint is the arm rests are too far forward for me. I like the chair but I was discouraged with the arm rests. I undid them and turned them the wrong way and put them backwards on the opposite sides which pulled them further back and it worked perfectly.

Really good chair I am very satisfied.
