This game is very fun to play but be warned about how much $ you will have to spend. In GRID Legends, everything is based on mileage and not wins. You must have a set number of miles on your car in order to unlock certain events.

These events say you must have the stage 2 upgrade menu unlocked to play these events. The stage 2 upgrade menu only unlocks if your car has the required number of miles driven on it. If you switch cars during a three race event, the mileage does not transfer and you have to start accumulating the miles all over again.

You will have to race some events a few times to get the number of miles needed to unlock the stage 2 menu. This is where you may end up spending more money than you planned to. There is a mileage booster for $0.

99 cents. The same mileage booster is also available in the deluxe upgrade pack for $20. Without the mileage booster, your car will accumulate mileage at a much slower rate. Because your mileage accumulates at a slower rate, you are being pushed to spend $0.

99 cents or $20 to get the faster progression rate. You may end up spending $21 if you choose to buy the $0. 99 cent upgrade now, and decide you want the DLC for $20 in the future. Because you can’t access a number of races, you are being forced to deal with a long grind or deal with a monetary paywall if you didn’t want to spend the extra money.

This is paying to win or paying to advance. Be careful when making a decision to purchase this game.

I’ve literally been playing this title nonstop since I purchased it. The story mode is a bit on the short side but honestly how many live action FMV sequences would you really want? The meat of the game is in career mode.

It’s challenging but not overly challenging, A huge selection of vehicles and unlock ales with plenty of future content! All in all it’s an overlooked Ace of the racing genre.

I have played all of Codemasters Grid games and this one is the best in my opinion. While not everyone will, I enjoyed the Story Mode. The good quality reminded me of the story from the TOCA Race Driver series that gave me a reason to continue.

The stars of the game are the handling and graphics. A good handling model in a racing game can’t be overstated (just play Project Cars 3 to see what I mean. ) Also I found the graphics to be impressive.

I love this game! It is such a classic game. There are easy courses and very difficult courses. You can play by yourself or you can play with friends. (It is a lot of fun to run your friends off rainbow road 😂).

I definitely recommend this game if you are looking for a classic racing game. The controls are pretty easy to figure out and there are additional modes that you can play to make the game more interesting.

This games a lot of fun. They got hang gliding parts that are pretty cool, a lot of the old maps are included and its always fun throwing turtle shells at people. Overall Id say its a good game, its better then the N64 version but not as good as double dash on the GameCube.

Its definitely worth what I paid, at least. The Mario cart games are alot of fun and are super re-playable. Im glad to have Mario cart 7 in my collection of games its always a decent experience.

Itching to launch shells, eat mushrooms and skid through korners, I bought this game because I wanted something fast and fun. Mario Kart delivers and the Nintendo 3ds supports many hours of quality gameplay and graphics that will have you kraving more.

Race tracks and classic characters featured from all previous Mario Kart games through the years sends any veteran player through a nostalgia trip. Online capability is easy to use and competitive once you get a few cups under your belt and the ability to unlock extra gear can be addictive.

If you’re looking for classic, fast, familiar fun don’t hesitate to add the 7th edition to your repertoire!.

Good game if you’ve played Breath of the Wild and want to know more about the kingdom of Hyrule and some of the characters one hundred years earlier, or to see how things may have panned out differently with the knowledge of impending doom.

It has some things similar to and some things very different from the first Hyrule Warriors game. Its hard to say which is actually the better. Age of Calamity has the better story and its main campaign battles are a good two to three times as long, while Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition has much more post-story content and is more quickly paced for a mobile system like the Switch.

Age of Calamity’s graphics are direct copies from Breath of the Wild, so if you like the cel-shaded look you’ll appreciate Age of Calamity; if not you may think the first game has the better graphics.

Pros: * Not very complicated gameplay. Just keep mashing buttons until enemies go down with occasional dodging and item use. * Excellent story that melds well with the Breath of the Wild events. * Many video cutscenes, far more than in Breath of the Wild, that help tell the story outside of battles.

* Does not require the hundreds of hours to 100% the game as the first Hyrule Warriors does. Con: * Too easy. On most quests, a competent player is in little risk of death at the Normal difficulty level (a Hard and Very Hard level exist for those wishing a greater challenge.

) * Noticeable frame rate drops during rainstorms or when many Lizafos are on screen at once and all spit water, ice, fire, or lightning at the same time * Questionable decision by developers to map jump and dodge to the same button.

Many players experience “misjumps” when they merely mean to dodge when too close to a wall. * Very poor camera positioning which too often gets stuck behind a tree or other object obstructing the view.

Assuming all available sidequests are done, playtime of main campaign is approximately 60 hours. To complete all post-story sidequests the playtime extends to 80-100 hours, depending how many hidden chests and Koroks were not discovered in main story missions on first attempt.

Short version: if you haven’t already, BUY this game! (And the DLCs they’re releasing too. ) Long version: Like pretty much everyone else, I bought this game based on Eiji Aonuma’s appearance at the Nintendo Direct where he said this game would tide us over until the Breath of the Wild sequel came out.

Not having played the previous Hyrule Warriors game I had no idea what to expect. So I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I discovered that this is a TERRIFIC game. It builds flawlessly on the BotW mythos but does so in such a way that actually increases my appreciation for the main game.

(Spoiler alert: one mission has you defending Fort Hateno, so when you visit the location in BotW and see the wreckage, you think to yourself, “I remember taking part in this epic battle 100 years ago!”) The missions and scenarios this game brings you are challenging and fun, yes there are a lot of them but they do build on each other, and unlike some action/adventure games I’ve played, this one actually has a great storyline.

It’s even better if you’ve played BotW and understand the context behind everything that’s happening. The controls are a little different, but after the first few minutes you won’t even notice. The only thing to really know about this game is that unlike BotW, where you can jump in and out anytime without having to invest a lot of time and attention (if you’ve only got a couple of minutes you can go defeat a Bokoblin camp or fight a Lynel and then that’s it), Age of Calamity wants your attention for more involved missions and scenarios, so my preference is to play this game when I can spare more time and attention, and then leave BotW in for “regular” use so I can get away for five minutes now and again.

(All that being said: come on, Mr. Aonuma, release the BotW sequel!).

I think the first half of the DLC is not worth the money, there are a few new characters but they can be annoying to unlock. You have to set aside a few hours of grinding to unlock most things inside of the lab.

The only things saving the first half are the new enemies. All of the new enemies are tricky but fun to fight making the grind a bit more tolerable. The second half is what makes this worth the money.

There are new quests that take place in some of hyrules most iconic places such as kakarico village and the coliseum. Not only do they provide new playable characters but they also are a blast to play.

My favorite part of the second half has to be the cutscenes, they all dive into the story and personality behind the characters giving us the last bit of knowledge we did not get in the main game. I think because of the second half, this is worth the money.

right off the bat i want to make it clear i love this game. i’m a big splatoon fan and i’ve played it a LOT since launch. gameplay across all modes is a step up from splatoon 2, so many quality of life changes, soundtrack is awesome, tons of stuff to collect, and i found the single player campaign to be fun and intriguing.

HOWEVER there are definitely a few turn offs currently. connection errors are quite frequent and make starting a match demand a lot of patience. sometimes you’ll play without issue, but other times you’ll have to try and join a lobby several times before it actually works and you get into a match.

matches mostly run smoothly once you’re in, but every once in a while there will be a random disconnection or some lag. so yeah, until that gets fixed, you’ll need to have some drive to play the game.

also it does feel a little lacking in stages and weapons. there are 12 multiplayer stages, including 4 from splatoon 2. if you’ve played that game, you might get a bit bored of playing those same stages over and over.

there are plenty of weapons, but not a ton of options within each weapon class. but more stages and weapons are coming so it’s not bad for now. there should be large updates every 3 months for 2 years, with each one looking to include 2 maps, a new catalog of goodies to collect, and an unknown number of weapons.

so the game will get much better on every issue i mentioned. i imagine it would take quite some time to get burnt out on the stages/weapons though. and if you don’t play the game a ton then the connection errors might not get on your nerves so fast.

basically, great game with some turn offs that might be a big deal to casual players who aren’t sold on the game by now. if you have splatoon 2 already, maybe consider waiting a few months or more for 3.

i’d hate for anyone to get permanently turned off from the game because some launch issues may sour the experience (which is otherwise fantastic).

Pros: Have owned Splatoon 1 & 2 and this is still a great game. New maps to previous but some of the old favourites still here. Love the new lobby feature as you can practise whilst you wait for the next game.

Grizz Co is a permanent feature, the gun’s are still always bad though. Nice story mod to help you learn to use weapons and moves before playing if you want. Unique family orientated shooter. Well designed weapons to acquire.

Ability to customise character, clothing and locker. Can play with friends but no in game chat so no toxic comments or grooming concerns to deal with. Cons: Server connection issues, which is likely to get better the longer the game is out, but is causing disconnects and laggy gameplay.

Warning although can play story mode without can only play main turf war games with Nintendo’s online membership.

Splatoon 3 is a fantastic game, they really improved many things from Splatoon 2. Only real issues I have with the game is the online, there’s always disconnections. Not sure if this is due to the game on Nintendo’s side of things or the connections of the players you’re playing with, but it’s a big issue.

Also, the fact that we basically have no choice to choose Tricolor Turf War, the option is there in Splatfests, but that really doesn’t matter since the game will give you whatever mode it feels like it.

I hate the illusion of choice. I hope that gets fixed. Tableturf Battle also needs online play with friends. That mode is really cool and yet you can’t do that. But outside of those things, it’s a really fun game and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun online shooter that isn’t too realistic and just want something colorful and fun.

Its a well made game. I was coming from BOTW and looking for a good openworld replacement. Sadly this just didnt measure up. Its a good game on its own but I just couldnt get into it. Plus im not a fan of the gore.

Dead babies coming after you and people hanging from trees everywhere you look. With BOTW I found myself looking forward to playing it. This game however not so much. It has a steep learning curve. There are all sorts of potions and stuff you can learn to make but the gameplay doesnt really emphasize it so you end up collecting a bunch of items with no driver to use any of them.

So pretty much you are walking around from one objective to another with a little bit of slashing monsters every so often. I just dont get this game and all the fan fair. Maybe Im just old, out of touch, and missing BOTW.

The Witcher 3, hands down, are the best game I have ever played in my life for various reasons; first and foremost, the brilliant series of Novels this game was built upon, which gave the game the most powerful and dramatic story I’ve ever seen in a video game.

The storytelling was consistent and amazing, with many different characters, amazing plot twists, and a vast world with different races, realms, and creatures that fight and thrive alongside one another and coexist in the most bloody and spiteful way.

Secondly, the gameplay is Awesome and rich, and precisely implemented to exploit the witcher’s abilities and test the players’ approaches and playing styles. Thirdly, the choices and their consequences; this was a brilliant way of approaching the game by basically saying that there’s no moral high ground here; you are a person who has traded.

A traveler who was traveling along the journey and got to make choices that will benefit you or others the most and have to learn and live with your choices’ consequences. I liked that way more than the ultimate good character or the justified villain, Aka the usual approach to videogame stories.

Fourthly, the DLC’s can easily be stand-alone games story-wise. Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are too good to be complimentary; the story is marvelous and rich and tragic, which shows us how witcher’s choices can come to haunt them.

Finally, this game is a work of art, and every gamer shouldn’t deprive him/herself of such a wonderful and rich experience.

This is game of the year for good reasons. The additioanal DLC included in this version are independently quality experiences on their own, and the “Heart of Stone” DLC is arugably the best gaming experience I’ve had in ANY game.

The point I like the most is that the character development and storyline are highly driven by the choices you make, and as silly or goofy as some of my choices have been, they don’t feel out of character in a way that makes me feel like I’ve messed up.

You really get a hand in developing Geralt’s story and it feels right, no matter what nice or cruel options you choose. That said, the walking controls might are a bit iffy, especially combined with the unforgiving fall damage, but just be careful around cliffs and you should be all good.

I preordered this game and it arrived 2 days early. Lucky me! Or is it “lucky me”. I first created a character for the mission mode (and was happy I did when that character later was in the story (and that fight crosses over into the mission mode.

you’ll see if you play it. I was excited for the story mode as I thought they had made it more in depth than in the last few games. Sadly it was a whole 20 fights and was very short and had so many cutscenes that would have been better if they weren’t just still images and voices.

I liked these games more when each character had a storyline you could play through. I’ve played every game in the series since soul edge so I know what the series is capable of providing. I then tried mission mode and at first really enjoyed it, until near the end.

the levels get to be just frustrating and at times the ai is just nuts and you don’t stand a chance (this isn’t often but is so annoying) and the level “the journeys end” is beyond annoying and rather than being a challenge just feels cheap and a killer of all fun.

I have a level 58 character and maxed out level with my weapon style of choice and will win 2 rounds then get just demolished for the final 3 rounds and by demolished I mean getting a few hits in or get them close to no health and then have them take me from 80% health to 0 in a heart beat.

When I fought Tira in the mission I figured after I beat her I’d unlock her! WRONG! If you want to play as the character they have included already as an opponent? Well you’ll have to pay for the season pass to unlock this character, unlock not download.

This character is in the game, we shouldn’t need to pay more for content included in the disc. I then tried arcade and it was fun, but I wish the scoring was based on more than the time it took to beat 8 fighters.

To get gold on normal I believe you need to beat 8 in under 7 minutes? Ir maybe 7. And that’s 8 fights with a minimum of 3 rounds in each. Do no matter how many soul charge supers I used to finish a round or how many perfects I had my score wasn’t impacted.

I really wanted to give this game a higher score because the fighting is as slick as ever if not better. But short story, mission mode crazy ness, and characters already in the game that need paid dlc to play as just killed it for me.

If you love Soul Calibur 1 and 2 then you will love this one. This is almost like a reboot as it starts from the beginning of the timeline and explores different stories through 2 different campaigns and does the best job of all the games in telling the whole story.

The art style and music are excellent and harks back to the golden days of the series. In one campaign you create a custom character to go on an RPG-like adventure (upgrade character, weapons, get loot, do missions + side quests, etc.

). The other campaign is a straight forward story mode with cut scenes where you play as the main cast. Both modes’ timelines intertwine and they both offer you many different perspectives. The fighting is excellent and the changes are welcome, feeling more like the older games with a sprinkle of more strategy involved.

The only downside is the story of the season pass. It should not even exist IMO at least right now as it is confusing. First, it’s not in the Collector’s Edition which makes it not seem worth it but to me it was either way and I’m happy with the roster due to the amount of content and customization available.

Second, the pass doesn’t include that much content in it. Third, the first available DLC character from the pass is already in the game as a villain. That last one is probably the worst part. I’d recommend getting the collector’s edition or the standard edition and waiting for the season pass to drop in price and for all the content to release (black friday may also be a good time).

Legends never die.

After a good half day of knocking on the fighting engine, it feels good. I felt the high point was SC2, 3 and 4 were good but, lacked something. While I 100% completed SC1 and SC2, I fell out of playing 3 and 4 after a few hours.

This doesn’t feel quite as difficult to recommend. The gameplay runs well, the controls are tight, and the match load times aren’t bad. The basic additions to the game include the reverse edge mechanics and a gage mechanic.

In my limited game play against the AI, I don’t find it overpowering nor cheap. The game play looks good, provides a nice clash mechanic, and I like it. The visuals are quick to parse and provide the relative info about the attack type.

Lightning effects or Fire effects indicate specific attack types. The bad includes a troubling tendency to slice a fighting game into pieces and reselling it a character at a time. Day 1 DLC has no real place in the market and should be abolished.

Tira was a built in character in 3 on and they only cut her to make for a pre-order/season pass bonus. In short, a good fighting game marred by marketing and with some interesting additions to a solid fighting system.

So the first thing I love ordering through very I have always had my items delivered on release day which is exactly what I want. Great service In terms of the game I don’t usually play multiplayer games as prefer the solo story driven but I really liked the look of this as looked great but with a fun element not taking itself too seriously.

It’s everything I thought it would be, the graphics and sound are great and the controls are simple enough but enough depth for strategy but when the chaos starts it’s just such a laugh. Even losing is fun and I don’t get that with many games.

Highly recommend for something fun and different.

Not really enough variety in gameplay to keep you interested long term, but fun enough for a quick blast for a couple months, really needs a ranked multiplayer mode imo.

At times too serious to be fun. At times too fun to be serious. Hard to explain, so therefore, you’ll have to play a bit on your own to know what I’m talking about, there’s no other way around it. However, if you don’t want to gamble on a purchase, you can see the gameplay on the internet.

The game centers on a Grumpus reporter, (that’s you), who have been recruited to decipher the disappearances of a small band of Grumpus’s who have set up life on a remote island paradise, seemingly. They’re surrounded by bugs who are literal iterations of food snacks, hence the name, Bugsnax.

Trouble and mystery are afoot, as the leader of the tribe has mysteriously disappeared, along with her cohort. Where have they gone?! It’s up to you to find out by way of unraveling a dozen separate storylines that of a dozen separate Grumpus’s.

The quests are a mixed bag of very fun and challenging, or torturously tedious, and you’re often required to run from one land to the other on both sides of the map to collect items that move the quests along.

One of the problems I have with the game is that, as a Sleuth game, it doesn’t exactly allow you to explore on your own. The quests are pretty scripted without leeway to explore and discover haphazardly, such as the game Slime Rancher, for instance.

Bugsnax often feels open-world, but the lack of personal discovery reminds you it is clearly not, and that’s a bit of a disappointment. Creators implemented a lot of social elements to the game that reflect the realities of our real world, and although its intentions may be genuine and from a heartfelt place, it feels awkward at times in a video game that uses cutesy, childlike characters.

How do you feel about Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street kissing? Well, I got the same creepy feeling at one point in this game. Whatever your beliefs are, personally, I really am not interested in watching Bert and Ernie lip-lock any more than I am interested in seeing Kermit and Ms.

Piggy equally going at it in a video game. I just ain’t. So be aware. If you’re not prepared to explain the complexities of this scene to your children who may be playing the game, then I don’t suggest buying this, because it’s here, and sprinkled about throughout the entirety of the game for some strange reason?? Overall, it’s a fun game.

My 5 year old gamer daughter beat a few of the most voracious boss beasts in this game by herself, and she absolutely loves this game. She actually cried when it was over because she didn’t want it to end.

It has an endearing fun factor, that brings you back for more every day. But for the reasons I posted earlier, I suggest thinking hard about buying this game before purchasing, keeping in mind some adult themes might need explanation to younger minds.

I didn’t know what to expect when starting Bugsnax but I had a lot of fun with it. It’s a first person adventure collection game where you traverse an island to hunt creatures called bugsnax, all while solving the mystery of the island and its inhabitants.

The game progresses through quests and side missions and becomes hard to put down as you just want to do “one more” before stopping. The characters are interesting (often funny) and I was very surprised at the quality of the voice work.

The story is simple and even a little dark at times. Visuals and sound are great, though there is some graphical pop-in here and there, and larger areas or areas with a lot of objects can suffer from frame issues.

Controls are fine, though not having gyro aiming is a missed opportunity. The biggest problem with the game is its long load times on Switch, which is especially noticeable when going to the village in town (more so as it develops and more characters populate it) These things didn’t hamper the experience too much, though I imagine things are smoother on other platforms.

Still highly recommended.

This game looks like it’s a super cute, kids game. And while at first it does present itself in that way, the more you play the more it begins to reveal that it’s not just for kids. The story is pretty lengthy and engaging, the characters are well written, engaging and voice acted.

They’re very fleshed out. There’s some adult themes in the game, (adult as in relatable to adults and not explicit) And the gameplay is engaging. It’s like Pokemon where there are tons of monsters to collect but each one has a different way to catch it that’s not spelled out for you, so you actually have to think and figure out how to catch them all.

I would definitely recommend this to any one and not just kids.

The game is fun but while it lasts. Clunky controls, no campaign mode, there is a back story but is never fully developed. Rebels against the novels, that’s all you gotta know. Oh, and that one team is RED the other one is BLUE just in case you confused on the battlefield.

About 7 to 10 stages and they all repeat at random. The more you play, the stronger you get, no talent whatsoever needed, even an idiot can become the best. Why? Wether you win or loose you always get experience and points to upgrade.

Heck you can do only 1 move and play for 60 hours and obtain the best sword and equipment. You feel 0 accomplishments on this one. Everyone presses the battle cry button and is very annoying after a while, everyone gets in front of you and don’t let you run.

For Honor was a way better game for many reasons. The only thing thats a + is that is a funny game, and FUN. But that fun will last you very little. Its not a rewarding game and that sucks. Everyone is a winner and that sucks.

I want to show my skills to the world and you could but nobody cares. Its all a clash of swords, so much mayhem going on the battlefield that everyone looks like they are doing the same thing.

I really wanted to like this game. The concept and genre are super fun but the execution is really lacking. The UI is clunky and poorly thought out. Matches are generally one sided with one team completely blowing out the other.

The game mechanics are frustrating at best. Nothing like working your way to an enemy to have him take you out with one shot, with his back to you. Players are not matched up with others of a similar skill level or in game player level.

You end up with a few really good players on one team mowing through everyone else. If you are a casual gamer and not interested in investing a ton of time, this is not the game for you.

Chivalry 2 is a fun (if not frustrating) online experience. The combat is easy to understand but sometimes hard to grasp. The controls feel good, but due to cross play, its easyto get overwhelmed due to the skill gap for new players.

I think if you have friends to play with, its a great time. Solo, its mostly spent getting literally stabbed in the back for 20 minutes.

This game is somewhat disappointing. The racing part is quite ordinary. Buy it only if you are into building race tracks. Else other driving games are almost certainly better.

I wanted a light-hearted, fun racing game to play with my 11-year-old son, who was more used to games like Mario Kart than Gran Turismo. This fit the bill perfectly and we have great fun sitting side by side on the sofa, playing the split-screen multiplayer game.

The graphics and physics are superb and you feel compelled to have ‘one more go’ to try to improve your time or have another chance at beating your oppponent. Thoroughly recommended.

Low level, doable achievements for younger gamers but also some very hard tests for older, high end players. Lots of crazy jumps and loops to keep the kids happy. Some jumps are tricky to get right but when you do, it puts a smile on your face and an involuntary “wooo!” comes out of your mouth.

Well worth the money.

It’s okay. Like GTA IV, it fails to live up to its pedigree. It’s very pretty. The driving is fun and Los Santos is really well planned out. Unfortunately, the gameplay is stale. The story line is pretty much the worst Rockstar has ever delivered.

The whole game is you controlling three characters who constantly fail to grow their criminal enterprise, and you, the player, are penalized by never making money for the missions you take them through until the very end.

It’s an exercise in frustration,a nd proof Rockstar’s current devs don’t understand the fundamental basics of good game design (INCENTIVIZE activity, don’t inhibit or punish it). GTA Online is a total cesspool.

It’s the worst online mode of any game I’ve ever played, and I say that as a gamer who cut his teeth on the Atari 2600 in 1983. It’s blatant pay to win, designed so that anyone trying to play without purchasing those silly in-game currency cards for real world money will be hobbled at every turn.

It is populated by the worst variety of children who spend the entire time griefing others, speaking in language that would make an inner city gang member cringe, and leaving lobbies so that you fail your group missions by default.

Rockstar only “updates” this mode in ways that defend the currency they’re trying to sell you, never fixing the broken gameplay mechanics or dealing with the heinous social environment. Is it worth it for the single player? If you can get it under $20 and can tune out the story, you’ll get your money’s worth, but not a penny more.

Fire up your classic PS2 and play San Andreas instead. You’ll be happier in the end.

GTA – V has been one of the best open-world gameplay for some time now; beautiful cars, super storyline, and the updated graphics for the PlayStation 4 are superb. The drawback of the game is going into more buildings and being unable to enter the property when buying property.

However, I haven’t finished playing the game, and I am unsure if I can enter the property later. The game is excellent. No update joining them online GTA 5; you can go into more property, but you need to pray for membership; that’s the drawback.

This game generally plays OK but it does have a low framerate due to the game not being optimized for the switch. The controls are generally responsive despite the low framerate with only a couple exceptions- The biggest one being Venice, where the framerate can dip so low that you’d want to avoid some places in that level.

However, most levels are still totally playable, it just won’t look as nice as it would on a more powerful system.

Having played NBA2K21 on the PS5 for about a week an half I think I can say without a doubt…Im not impressed. I should preface in saying I’ve purchased every 2K game since 2K14 (except 16) and I can say this is one of, if not the worst instalments in 2K history.

MyTeam looks essentially the same and as with previous instalments and is a pay-for-play, unless you find yourself being one of those who don’t mind putting in the hours. GM/Franchise mode have not been touched in years and it is essentially the same minus some aesthetic changes (menu got changed around in the mode but thats about it).

Now my real gripe is with the MyCareer mode. To sum up what I’ve written below, The only change is with the Pie charts no longer existing, yet it still feels as though they exist and that the game has taken a step back in quality.

Now for the specifics see below: – The build: I found that the amount of badges you can get this year compared to last year is greatly reduced in the initial build. For instance I built a James Harden/Kobe Bryant Shooting guard in 2k20 and had 14 finishing badges, 22 shooting, 15 playmaking and 3 defending and had pretty decent attributes/ratings.

I tried to build the same player this time around and only had 8 finishing, 17 shooting, 10 playmaking and 4 defending. – The Build Again: If you want to create a decent Small forward you’ll need to actually create a PowerFoward (more badges and better attributes in the PowerForward build).

Also what was strange was I built a 6’8 powerforward that had my secondary position being a center. In reality it should be a small forward since MyPlayer is about 3-4 inches shorter than most centers.

– Ratings/VC: You start off again in the 60’s and more than likely you’ll need to shell out at least $60 to make your MyPlayer decent enough to play with – High School: You can’t equip gear like Arm sleeves, compression pants, knee pads, etc for some reason.

Guess in real life HS players like Bronny James don’t wear arm sleeves or anything like that (wait a second…. yes he does). – City/Park: For some reason you can’t get into the city until you played multiple games in the Park (You can’t get on-court gear or anything else until you get past it, and even if you do you wont be able to equip any gear until you again get into the NBA).

Depending on your skill level it will take a while to get going and even then how you perform here for some reason affects your ability in the NBA (if you have cold zones in my park congrats you have those same cold zones in the NBA).

– College/University: There’s a weird relationship storyline put in that doesn’t really affect the game at all, (did I mention you cant equip gear yet?) – NBA: congrats you can now equip gear, but only if you get into the City – Jumpshots: This will make or break your ability to consistently knock down jumpers (was able to find some decent combinations online), also the shooting is a lot harder then in previous years and even more frustrating re: You’re able to hit a fade away 3 point shot thats slightly late and 58% covered, but brick 5 3 pointers in a row that are all slightly early and only 2-10% covered at most.

– Badges: Be prepared to grind these out, and they matter more than you may think. I’ve played 26 games in the NBA so far and have hit 118/239 3 pointers, 84/120 FT, and have hit maybe 50/120 Mid-range shots, but only have 9 shooting badges.

Now in order to hit certain shots (say 3 pointers) I’ve had to put all of my badge points towards gold corner specialist, hot zone hunter and catch and shoot just to be able to not brick my shots. – Badges again: Also in order to get 10 additional badge points for each area you’ll need to hit superstar on MyPark/City which frankly will be next to impossible to do (unless you have no other responsibilities).

– Story: The story is essentially a repeat of past versions: Dad or someone important died before you made the NBA/HS, have to fill someones shoes, have some rival you meet in HS or college/university, have to choose between either a close friend or professional to become your agent, etc etc etc Frankly I could keep going but there so simple to fix that Im surprised 2K hasn’t addressed them… Wait it’s 2K Im actually not surprised at all.

Should 2K ever look at this review do the following, allow more freedom with ratings, more badge points, (refer to NBA2K15 for guidance). Also not everyone wants to play in The Park and therefore should be allowed top play exclusively in the NBA and not be limited in terms of build.

NBA2K21 for the PS5 is another attempt by 2K to grab money from loyal fans. Fans of the game will find that the only new thing in this game is the removal of the pie charts from MyCareer. The gameplay in terms of dribbling and stamina seem more realistic, however it feels as though the number of features that MyCareer have taken a major step back.

It’s as if 2K decides to ignore what went well with previous games and start from scratch each time. I would avoid this game as much as possible as you will ultimately be spending money on both MyTeam and MyCareer in order to enjoy the game fully and even then both modes miss the mark like Ben Simmons attempting a 3.

I got bored of it after 2-3 weeks. I’ve written some issues below that might help explain the reasoning. Issues: MyCareer – Need to play MyPark to get to the City to just gain access to gear (several games and time) – The attributes and badges are limited and to just get extra badges you need to grind it in MyPark for hundreds of hours – The “rival” Hendrick Cobb doesn’t add anything to the story after he gets traded (has more badges then you’ll ever get, and is better then you) – The story is lazily made and don’t add anything to the game mode – The badge point system makes no sense re: Having 20 assists gets you fewer playmaking badge points then completing 8 lobs.

Also after earning all your badge points you don’t feel like your playing towards something aside from getting to 99 overall. – Need to pay $$$ to make your MyPlayer playable – College decision/choice doesn’t affect draft stock, number of fans, experience gained towards anything – The builds are broken and favour the Power Forward position, for instance using the same attributes for the PF build on say a Small forward build gives you far fewer badges.

MyTeam: – Pay for Play – Matchmaking is still broken as you will have teams where they have 5 pink diamonds but the rest are all bronze. Essentially your going to lose – Rewards for earning all the cards for a certain team are small and effectively pointless – Card Evolutions are limited, this should be applied to all cards so to make the grinding more fun (similar to some cards to 2K19 and 20) – Have not added anything new to this mode and really just feels like a copy paste from previous games and generations MyGM: – Least touched upon mode in the game – New load out screen is a nice touch as it allows people to customize their GM experience – Gameplay, training, scouting, trades, etc are the exact same as in previous years – Removed the halftime show with Earnie and the gang (imagine due to covid but could have still recored their voices).

I could write an essay on how poorly composed of a game this is, NBA 2k21 is the poster child for a gambling game, that has basketball side content. The company literally puts more time and effort into their monetary benefit than sound gameplay.

You can see that through their pre-order bonus structure that was implemented this year’s game cycle. They have in-game currency, and to them, there is no way they were going to give customers even an inch when it comes to free VC that is given in the pre-order bonus purchase, repeat purchase! The structuring is placed out so that no matter what you can’t overlap and potentially get more VC without shelling out more money.

You’d think if they were this money hungry the basic foundations of a game would be met, lol you’d be sadly mistaken. Their servers are still poor it’s been literally a decade and there has been no improvement in their servers, and why is it we’re in 2020-21 and for the last couple years NBA 2k can’t manage to save my in game settings on a consistent basis lool, but I think one of the many problems with NBA 2k that needs to be spoken about is how hypocritical they are when it comes to earning VC in game, whenever the community finds a VC exploit ( which is basically farming, most rpg games have that kind of structure to gain experience) when 2k sees you earning more VC than 2K wants you to without paying them more money they are very quick to ban and terminate your player files, and the game subsequently gets a nearly instant patch to fix said exploits, but when I, for instance, play on the blacktop mode to try and “farm” VC because they make it feel like when you’re playing this game you’re actually supposed to be mining cryptocurrency bacause it feels like a job when its supposed to be, this’ll shock you, FuN.

It’s almost like they’re trying to twist your arm into buying VC, but they wouldn’t do that. Anyways, I’d play the mode and you’re suppose to earn VC per match but you end up only getting VC when the game decides it ok to give it to you, with no fixes in site.

To me the proof is in the pudding because out of all the PS5 launch games and be a 2k21 is among the few that is no longer $89. 99. Rightfully so though.

I bought this game for xbox 360 used from game stop years ago. I wanted to buy the ultimate edition for PC so I can experience all the DLCs and the full game comfortably. (I prefer keyboard and mouse and didn’t get very far on the xbox) Unfortunately you have to either buy these disks new or unused because the disk ISN’T A ROM.

It redirects you to steam to enter your code effectively making the disk useless besides the initial installation. And because I bought this used so was the code making the purchase of this game a waste.

I prefer having physical copies of my games even on computer but unfortunately to my knowledge there isn’t a ROM disk version of the game.

One of my all time favorite games. I’m right now thinking about doing another playthrough. One issue though is the bugsI have this on Xbox 360, PC and PS3. Overall it’s been the most playable for me on the PS3.

The Xbox version had issues out the gate, even installed on my HD. The PC worked fine until I got all the DLC now it freezes up. I now have it for the PS3 and I have not downloaded any expansions and it has been pretty reliable.

But whatever platform you play it on it’s an amazing game that NEEDS a premastered ultimate edition for PS4/PS5.

I have played Hyrule Warriors the first one, it was such an amazing and addictive game. This one is a whole another level, it takes inspiration directly from Breath of the Wild’s settings and the peeps.

I really enjoyed it. Although I do wish it supports online for whatever mission is too difficult or just take them on with a friend for fun, or with anyone really. I hope maybe the next Hyrule Warriors, they’d support online play functionality.

Gameplay: it only plays at 30fps, although it dips in some really heavy commotion, but it doesn’t suffer too gravely. Story: it takes place and time before BOTW, I believe. Value: I think it’s one of those hack and slash game if you’re really into it, and you like Zelda? This is for you: It’s a fun game!.

This was my first order with DKOldies. I had a wonderful experience. The games worked perfectly and the delivery was fast. I would definitely recommend to my friends and use DKOldies again!

It’s so fun to play this game, the graphics are so bright and amazing for the 3Ds. If you like Pokemon go, I recommend you try out this game as well! It doesn’t require as much walking around but it still is exciting.

My 9 year old daughter is really into Pokemon and absolutely loves this game! I definitely recommend Pokemon Rumble World – Nintendo 3DS!!

The game is very well put together with amazing graphics and fun to be had. Need for Speed offers some unique races, a huge open map and great multiplayer. However, the racing is short lived as you find yourself doing the same thing over and over again.

Also, the integrated constant online feature messes with your single player – as you are racing AI, online drivers could drive into you whilst free roaming, this then messes with your race. Overall, for the price – it is worth it.

However, the fun will not last unless you start finding your own challenges. There are only 50 cars in the game which is terrible, but the game focuses on customisation, so this is understandable. Graphics are stunning (other than the fact it is always night) the story isn’t very in depth but the multiplayer is very good.

Buy it if you love the franchise, if you want to play with friends or you don’t get bored easily. The game is good for street car lovers.

I really like NFS. This one though seems to glitch way too much when the internet is actually fine. Others ps4 games don’t glitch like this one. I love the customization and the realistic visuals and everything.

I’ve played other NFS games and this one is alright but it could use some improvements in the system. Would definitely recommend tho!.

Need for speed is a series that needs a hard reboot, just start from scratch. The story is pretty generic, ” race to be the best” like arc. It constant needs online, if you can’t connect, you can’t play, meaning you also have to play with other people.

The cut scenes are live action and in first person, which is great for the immersion, but the acting is very bland and just not good overall. The gameplay itself is fun, the driving feels great, they’re 4 type of missions such as “Speed, Style, Crew and Rebel” The driving feels great and is fully customizable form the wheel tighness to your interior, exterior and specs, for as long as it’s unlocked and you have the coin.

They’re are a medium amounts of cars available, but they have a few of each type that you. The game is fun, but a lacking story and bad acting, really take away from it, but the game play is fun and if that’s all you want in a game, I can recomended it for sure.

This game has a lot of potential! Interesting story, and the idea of aging with each death is intriguing. Unfortunately, and this is my opinion. the controls need some work. Moves don’t always come out, and I find myself hitting the photo mode button more often than not.

The game is not very long, but it does require playing some of the levels over again. I have a bladt playing it though.

Sifu is great in that it nails the aesthetic and gameplay. The music, graphics, and style of the game is top notch. It’s one of those easy to play difficult to master games. It does take some getting used to, but the devs updated the game with an easier mode if you would rather enjoy the story without the difficulty, and a harder mode in case you really want a challenge.

Would definitely recommend it!.

What a surprise this game was. It was an amazing beat em up style game with plenty of replay ability. At first it is very annoying dying over and over and getting to the old age before beating the game.

After replaying a few times I finally got the hang of it and manage to have fun with. Great Buy!.

Very good quality! I downloaded all the necessary patches in order to run it and while clunky due to it being older, it really runs great imo. Absolutely recommend this game if you’re wanting to play,

Black & White 2 is a fun game where you are a god controlling over your people. You can have a loyal creature who will side with you no matter of your decisions. You can raise army to fight other villages.

You can either be a ruthless evil god or a merciful good god. The choice is yours. The fate of your people rests on your hands. Considering the age of this game, it is still amazing. I spent hours playing this game creating a huge metropolis.

Definitely recommended!.

THe game takes place after the first game. After the civillians have grown a bit in technology and have become a little more self-supporting. If you’ve played the original you should be a bit happy that you don’t have to gather so many trees just to build a decent city.

The game features one of the best ways to build citys and roads, just drag and drop. You’ll even be able to speed up building by grabbing trees and squeezing the wood or ore out onto a building. Building great citys is the way to defeat your enemies if you wish to be good by lureing them in with all your majesty.

Or if you prefer the evil approach you could always have the women constantly giving birth and build a grand army led by your creature to destroy the enemys, which seems to be a lot quicker. Teaching the creature seems to be a little bit easier.

For any action it has there is a slider bar as you punish or reward him that goes from never doing something to doing it too much. It is a lot easier to get the actions you want out of your creature in this game but it seems to have dumbed the AI that was so amazing in the previous one.

B&W2 boasts some amazing graphics, being able to zoom in to be able to see the ants running around on the ground and zoom out up into the clouds with amazing field of depth blurring and nice bloom effects is awesome.

I would heavilly recommend a PCI-Express setup to be able to view the creatures and the world at a nicely detailed level, otherwise you might not be able to see the grass move along with your hand or all of your creatures fur.

I would also heavily recommend you patch the game before you start playing at all. Pros: – Amazing detail in graphics and sound – Decent replayability with good or evil and different creatures – Fun mini-games, great design for building cities Cons: – Performance hog – No multiplayer or skirmish yet.

Good game, similar to the third Part, very good! Unfortunately, something difficult, otherwise nicely done. The gameplay itself is well thought out, but unfortunately sometimes it chops. The graph has, unfortunately, a few mistakes, but otherwise it is beautifully done and very acceptable.

The characters are well thought out but unfortunately a bit monotonous. Otherwise, this game is highly recommended. Do not rely on this conclusion, but to play the game itself and to then assess: My conclusion is :).

This was bought for son for his birthday he absolutely loves it he likes all these type of games ,it was very well packed really pleased with purchase and highly recommended

I was definitely skeptical about this game when one of my friends first made me play it but the game definitely turned out to be a lot of fun. I bought it for myself within a week and have been playing at least twice a week ever since.

My friends and I still play multi-player games together and go on campaigns in single-player. It’s a really great role-playing game and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
