It works great. You will get movie theater quality and flavor popcorn if you pop the kernels in buttery coconut oil and use flavacol. A batch makes a small bowl enough for one person. Good for someone single or a couple.

Not large enough for a crowd. You will have to make many batches to feed everyone. The kettle is awkward to clean but manageable. It’s also awkward to add your oil and kernels with the included scoops but manageable.

If you can find long handled scoops would be ideal. There are no holes in the bottom for the kernels to fall when scooping out the kernels but you can remedy that by buying a scoop with the holes but you will have to dig them out of the bottom of the popper after use.

All in all it’s a great little machine for occasional use when you have a taste for popcorn.

It is very cute and it does make good popcorn However there are a few things that I am not very fond of: *The dump handle dumps the popcorn, do do this you have to pull the handle forward, the flaw to this is that that is the same way you turn the handle to tighten it so you will have to continue to tighten the handle to ensure it stays in place.

*There is no warmer for the oil first so it takes a bit for it to heat up before it will make popcorn *The plug that is inside tends to come loose often *The wheels on this are very cheaply put on, I understand they are just for looks but they are not the sturdiest.

*It is not easiest to clean All in all it would be a great item, size wise it is perfect but it should have been thought through a little more on the production end.

Pops popcorn good but you need to hold the whole thing just to open or close the door or to even press the buttons, it’s very lightweight and somewhat flimsy. Overall it’s good for the price.

I am So disappointed. I use Orville Redinbocker popcorn. It flies right out of the popper into the bowl un popped. My grandkids are so disappointed. I will be ordering my old stand by the Stir Crazy brand.

This Popcorn Maker only popped a minute portion of the popcorn kernels, not even enough for one person. Disappointed because it is so cute! This was a gift for my grandsons and they are also disappointed.

Had a little birthday party for my grandson and it was a circus theme and this little popcorn maker it was a perfect accessory works perfectly well cute and Im saving it for future parties

I love the finished project, our first big family movie night was a big hit with fresh delicious popcorn from Great Northern popcorn company, popped in this fabulous machine. We watched the new jungle cruise movie.

All of this blots out the horrible memory of the assembly of this machine! Tiny screws to be placed in tiny places with average human size fingers, things that were to easily “snap” into place. that did not and the contortionist positions that one had to assume to put the parts together by one person would impress the Cirq de solie.

So deep breathe, read the instructions at least 3 times set up a large space to work in with screws/bolts on a raised surface and imagine “The Rock” cheering you on!.

Arrived within the time frame provided. Assembly took about 90 minutes. Would have been less. but the instructions were wrapped up with the popcorn bags and I didn’t see them until I was done lol. Have had 3 batches of popcorn now and yes.

just like the theater. The key is 1 tsp of theater spice per cup of popcorn and ghee butter. Cleaning the pot and enclosure is easy. Very very pleased. Will be a long time before I go to a theater again!!.

I’m so happy with this awesome popcorn maker. Was easy to put together, super sturdy and well built and it works like a dream. One batch feeds everyone but we usually make 2 anyways. Heats up super fast, pops fast, easy cleanup.

I love it. I make popcorn almost everyday. The only thing I’m not thrilled with is getting the popcorn out. It’s not easy. I still am glad I got it.

Love it. Gives a great ambience and pops great corn if you follow the instructions. Great visual if you have children or a child at heart as it starts popping quickly. Somewhat difficult to clean and would be nice if it came with a scoop but these are small quibbles.

Fortunately, I bought this more for looks than use. The popcorn/oil ratio is difficult to figure out. It pops about 75% of the kernels before it starts to burn regardless what amount of oil is used. Quite a pain to clean after use.

This popcorn machine is just beautiful. We brought it for our game room and it looks perfect in there. Can’t wait to make popcorn for all the grandkids while they play games. Simply love our mew machine.

I love this popcorn machine. The directions were extremely easy to use. It was easy to put together. It came with the measuring cup and spoon. It was fun to watch the popcorn come out. It was easy to clean up, especially since the “pot” where you put the oil and kernals comes out.

The only thing I think I would really have liked different is if it was possilbe to take the lid off of the “pot” where you put the kernals in. I would want this only for making it easier to clean. I would recommend this popcorn machine.

It is just the right size for a table or counter. If it ever breaks, I will get another one.

The elite tabletop kettle popcorn maker is so nice. It is not very large so doesn’t take up a lot of space in our game room. It is so easy to use and makes nice, fresh, popcorn. All of the kernels pop and you get a nice sized batch.

This will be great for my teens when they are friends over for a nice, healthy snack. I love the smell of fresh popcorn and this made our game room smell great for movie night. We will be using this all the time!.

I bought this over 3 months ago and it has constant use but I am never happy with the results. I have gone through every brand of oil and popcorn that you can imagine and I have tried everything that the professionals recommend and the popcorn still comes out chewy and stale like.

I use the same oil and popcorn as my local store does and there popcorn tastes just like a movie theater. But the difference is their popper is nicer brand that actually has a nice heat lamp. Their popcorn sits inside the machine and it is NEVER stale.

The popcorn from the Nostalgia also does not pick up the yellow from the Beta Carotene in the oil and does not pick up the butter flavor. I don’t know what the issue is but I am not happy with this popper.

I can make better popcorn on the stove but I bought this so I could have movie theater like popcorn at home. For the price, it should include a decent working heat lamp and heat table. The lamp provided is just a dim light that does nothing.

If my husband had not thrown away the box, I would be returning this piece of junk. Do yourself a favor and buy one of the well known professional models for only a little more money. If you don’t need the cart, for the price of this machine, you can buy yourself something nice.

Gave this as a gift for my grandson who turned 12 years old. He loves it and loves sharing with his friends and family! I told him the trick of taping a penny to the popper if all the kernels didn’t pop and he was going to try that.

This machine makes popcorn super fast. It’s unique warming feature keeps the popcorn hot all the way through – not just the bottom as you’d typically expect. We’ve used Sunflower Oil, Coconut Oil and Corn Oil in this versatile machine.

It’s a matter of preference but our family loves using the coconut oil. We use it about 3x per week and the cleaning of the machine is super easy. I researched this machine compared to others on the market and hands down it’s the best.

The glass doors, warming feature, spot light warmer, the 5 year warranty and the fact that it’s made so well were what convinced me that this is the type of product you wouldn’t have to replace in a year.

Finally a product that’s not considered disposable. Walmart had the most reasonable pricing for the Great Northern Popcorn Popper’s at the time that I bought mine.

Ok Ive wanted one for YEARS. I took the plunge. I got the GN pop corn 6oz. It pops PLENTY of popcorn. I bought their 8 0z pack of pop corn and pop half at once and that makes PLENTY for 2-4 people. We LOVE this machine.

My kids have friends over for movies and its a hit! Pops exactly like the movies. Well worth the money. I did not buy the cart. Just set it on a small black night stand type table. Works fantastic. Great size.

Bigger than you think by the measurements. Glad I didnt go up to 8oz. Excellent buy recommend to everyone.

Love my new Great Northern Popcorn machine. Its easy to assemble and use and makes popcorn just like your local movie theater. I recently upgraded from a smaller popcorn machine to this one because of the durability that this machine will provide.

Its made with high quality parts and is sure to be a focal point in on any home.

When i was looking to find the right size for our family of 3 I settled on this one, which is perfect for our family. Even with all of the un-popped kernels there is still plenty of popcorn with the 6oz pre packaged popcorn for our family of 3.

You get quite a bit of kernels with each scoop of popcorn, but after everyone had their fill, there was still some left. I like salt and I will say the pre-packaged popcorn is pretty salty. I didn’t need to add any salt.

Assembly was a challenge, I’m very mechanical and I had to break out a punch to get the holes to line up on the frame, even if you don’t tighten all the bolts til the end, they don’t line up. It did finally go together.

It’s not a bad idea to use 2 people. I don’t know if I would use the word commercial in the title. Only time will tell. It’s smaller than I imagined, and loading the prepackaged oil is a tight fit, you need to open the package, split the stick of oil in half and put it in the bowl.

Not a lot of room to work inside the machine. Dumping the bowl is awkward because of the amount of space to work with inside the machine. I have only used it a couple of times, but I would probably but this again.

does make really good popcorn, and clean up is not too bad, It’s a challenge to get the bowl in and out to wipe it out, but it’s manageable. Again the pre-packaged popcorn is pretty salty, if you’re not a fan of salt, buy the oil and popcorn separate so can adjust the salt.

It does have good flavor. All in all I would buy it again, We were very happy with the flavor of the popcorn and that’s all that matters in the end.

I am going to have to return this popcorn machine. None of the screws fit the stand. I can’ t even attach the wheels or handle to the stand together. it makes no sense why they would put the wrong screws in and I don’ even have enough screws to put stand together.

I was so excited to purchase it and now I am sad to have to return it smh. frustrated! I Can’t even attach the wheels on to the stand smh.

Pretty good little machine, keep reading that people say it was smaller than expected. It was pretty much what I had expected – but maybe that’s because I know multiple people with similar sized makers.

My boyfriend is a popcorn nut and he said it was one of the best gifts in years. For the price it is a decent machine. So many people gripe about quality, but if you wanted a top of the line industrial strength popcorn maker then maybe you should pay for one.

Aesthetically pleasing. Easy assembly. Popcorn is good. You do have kernels left at the bottom – but no more than the ratio of kernels to popcorn you would get in a bag (obviously greater number of kernels to popcorn with a larger popper).

I would buy again. You get what you pay for, this was worth it. Don’t listen to the whiners if your looking for a decent machine for a decent price.

I really like this popcorn maker. It is so cool. However, had I realized it was so tiny, I would have went with a bigger one. It makes, basically, on serving of popcorn. Also, the very first time I used it the kettle doors stuck and the popcorn burned.

I had to pry the doors open and forcibly remove the burned popcorn from the kettle. After that first time they started to function properly. Also, when the first kernels start to pop they now hit the kettle doors and un-popped corn comes flying out.

not many. just 8-12 pieces. Overall a good product though.

I Bought this a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. I have made popcorn in it many times already and I’m glad I ordered it. If there is one thing I’d change it’s that the light in it is more just for lighting and I wished it keep the popcorn warm.

That may be something I look into if the have a heating bulb that is the same watts and voltage lol. Other than that love it.

I haven’t used it yet! But it looks awesome and appears to be sturdy, and stable. Will be a great addition to the movie area. Can’t wait to see how well the popcorn actually pops and tastes from this machine.

I am a huge fan of popcorn. I have tried many of the cheap popcorn machines but you just don’t get authentic movie theater popcorn. Well you do with this wonderful machine. You can buy premeasured packets that contain the butter and salt along with the popcorn.

You get perfect movie theater popcorn every time without leaving your house. I love this machine, highly recommend it and would purchase over and over again!!!.

My husband was injured 2 weeks ago by a Popcorn Kettle from Great Nothern Popcorn company. The rim of the kettle was not rounded and very sharp. While cleaning it it slipped off counter and severed his nerve and artery and tore through his muscles.

He passed out from the bleeding and hit his head. We had to call an ambulance. We were following manufacturer guidelines for cleaning process and there were no warnings of sharp edges and injury being possible.

He had to have nerve repair surgery 2 days after incident. Our medical bills will be extensive and he is not able to use his hand for work or to care for our special needs daughter. I contacted Trademark global immediately after the injury and they seemed willing to assist.

When I submitted damages and compensation request they sent it up to their insurance and then just replied that the company nor the insurance provider would have any further contact with us. Meaning….

we will not compensate you for our lack of safe product development. Buyers beware of any purchases from this company. They do not care about safety, customer service, or people.

After a lot of research I ordered this product to add a bit of fun to our t. v. room. It was a good price and had decent reviews. I found that none of the negative comments were deal breakers. I did have a bit of an issue initially attaching the pot to the inside of the machine, but once I figured it out, no worries.

We have made multiple batches of popcorn in the machine. It does spit out some unpopped kernels, but not an objectional amount. Overall we are enjoying it, like the novelty and it is not inconvenient to use.

Not too difficult to clean which I did after 5 or 6 batches. Took the pot out, wiped it out well, cleaned the inside easily. We also like the fact that there is a tray to hold the popcorn which is easy to remove.

And the warmer light. Even though we haven’t left the popcorn in long enough to need that…it’s nice to have.

This little machine is the perfect size for my husband and I. Looks great on our bar and people ask if it is real all the time. We bought the popcorn in the portion packs from Wayfair and they are delicious! Great buy!.

Not as impressed with this as the other reviewers seem to be. To get that clear tray remotely full I have had to run two batches. I’m using good kernels, I’m following instructions, and I’ve tried different oils.

It just doesn’t work that we’ll. Cleaning the popper kettle is a drag if you have normal sized hands, too. I wound up using tools to remove the two nuts just to get the kettle cleaned enough to not worry about “The Funk” growing in there between uses.

The rotating arm jammed up often which made it necessary to manually drag hot popcorn out of a hot kettle. I don’t recommend this popcorn maker.

This is my second popper from Great Northern. My first Paducah popper lasted 8 years with lots of use. This one, although almost the same, is not as well built as the first one. The doors don’t close completely and leave a gap at the bottom above the aluminum panel that leans out in front.

I was able to put more kernels in the last popper because the lids were heavier and held the hot kernels near the heat source. As soon as this one starts popping, the lids fly open and a lot of the hot kernels get popped out to become un-popped (old maids) on the bottom.

Even though, it does pop quickly and is very tasty, it’s a fixture in our family room and used all of the time. Sometimes new and improved is not always the best.
