There was a 1 star review given because the inks from a Canon inkjet printer smeared off the vinyl after running it under water. That could be due to using the wrong kind of printer technology. Pigmented inks tend to be nearly or entirely waterproof, fade-proof, smudge-proof, smear-proof.

Dye based inks will never stand up to getting wet after they’ve “dried”. You can get around this with dye-sublimation but that requires a heat press and these types of vinyl sheets are not made to withstand the temperatures of a commercial heat press or even a household iron.

I purchased these printable vinyl sheets at my local Michaels, and I absolutely love them!! They helped me create admiring memorials for my lost loved ones. I also created customized stickers with them.

They are very versatile and easy to use. I recommend these to anyone that makes diys.

I used this on my cricut, and the backing on the vinyl tends to stick to my cricut mat. Other than that, I felt this works great!

I give 4 stars due to packaging. My roll of vinyl came bent and is making it somewhat challenging to use. Please consider alternative shipping packaging. Overall great quality and in spite of shipping errors I am very pleased.

I have used various brands of vinyl but never oracle. I must say the oracle vinyl is super easy to weed. I did my projects in half the time.

I love this vinyl. I did find that i had to tweak the settings that were preset for glossy vinyl on my silhouette cameo 3. The thickness was already as low as it would go so I backed off on the force and it worked great.

I will definitely purchase more.

Iv’e been purchasing this brand consistently for the last few years. I loved the quality of the vinyl and the sturdiness of the backing. The backing took the quality of my products to another level. However, as of recently, I’ve been seeing many reviews about the backing being made thinner.

I honestly didn’t think it would’ve been too bad after testing one sheet, I can see why others have been upset about the change. The backing is worse than the lowest quality sticker sheet I own. It’s THIN.

This company went from making my products look high end to low budget and I hate it. I just bought 100 sheets of their vinyl and I’m so disappointed. I usually don’t write negative reviews but I honestly felt like this needed to be said.

My printer had no problem feeding the paper. why change something that wasn’t broken to begin with?.

The quality has degraded significantly. They went from nice thick 4. 7 mil paper that laid flat and felt thick, to a thinned , 3. 9 mil they claim, paper that feels flimsy to the touch and curls when adding a clear coat.

After contacting Customer Service twice I was told basically, “Sorry that’s what we have now. Too bad you are unhappy” but not once did they mention their 100% Money Back Guarantee or even any real remorse about sending me an inferior product.

They even sent me the Sticker Paper in packaging claiming it was 4. 7 mil!!! Supposedly there was a note sent with the product letting me know about the adjustment in quality, but there was no note and even if there was, I would expect that to be addressed before I purchased the item, not after.

I kind of expected them to at least offer me a return but they just shoved me away. I was a big fan of PPD before, but this bait and switch, zero remorse, and no mention of their satisfaction guarantee will have me head back to Amazon.

So very disappointed and saddened by the loss of a great product.

I have placed four orders for the SKU PPD-36 inkjet vinyl sticker sheets. My last order, despite being SKU PPD-36 contained paper that was 3. 9mil thickness. It’s not as thick and doesn’t seem to be the same quality.

It seems the SKU PPD-36 has gone from 4. 75mil to 3. 9mil and it’s definitely doesn’t feel as nice/thick. I sell these stickers, so quality is important. So, take note of this if you’re someone who orders this sticker paper.

The 4. 75mil stuff is amazing – great print quality, nice rich colors. Thick paper. The 3. 9mil does not have the same quality feel.

I recently received a different product than previously purchased over the years. It is no longer thick durable vinyl it once was, it is now paper thin and flimsy, tears easy and has too strong of adhesive for its thickness so forget repositioning it.

Also This vinyl cuts horribly on my cameo no matter what the settings are or how many passes, It leaves a horrible jagged edge on die cut stickers. As for the paper backing, it is supper thin and leaves a fine paper dust all over the cutting matt from the cut so now my new matt is loosing its adhesion just from that alone.

I’m not sure what happed but this product is absolute junk now.

It was 4. 75mil when I ordered. Both packages I received say 4. 75mil. I received 4. 1mil and it’s a different paper. I emailed them an no solution. Must be cut with a 30degree blade. The cameo blade is causing a chipping/powder along each cut line.

It was my favorite paper. Now it’s lower quality. My customers will notice. It feels cheaper.

As a business owner when I buy products for a certain price I expect top QUALITY. Not only was it a waste of funds already LIMITED due to me being a SMALL BUSINESS, but a WASTE of TIME & ENERGY. I purchased the White Permanent Roll and Transfer Tape.

While using both items. The transfer tape failed to properly stick to the Permanent Roll, leaving me to have to continuously press down to try and get it to transfer. It has put me behind in a personal order and I am very unhappy along with professionally unsatisfied with this product.

I will not be purchasing it again….

The way the item was shipped was a bit strange. It was shipped in what looked like a paper towel roll with no protection. Other than that, this is some very good vinyl. I ordered white and it has a blue tint for easy weeding.

I’m not very good at weeding but this vinyl had me weeding like a pro. This is worth the money and way better than the Cricut brand hands down. Will definitely buy again.

I’ve been using cricut vinyl since I first bought my cricut machine, and I decided to try the oracle vinyl from Swing Design. Best decision I’ve ever made. At first when I was unrolling it and putting it on my craft mat, the vinyl looked like it was already peeling away from the backing, so I was a little wary.

But I just smoothed it down and cut out my project. The best part of this vinyl is the weeding and putting it on the transfer tape. All of the excess vinyl came off so easily without me even having to try.

And putting it on the transfer tape was even easier. This vinyl is my new favorite and I will be buying more. So glad I tried it.

This is the best printable vinyl out there on the market for creating your own stickers. It is water-resistant and lasts a very long time.

Color prints accurately on this bright white material. After a long dry time (about two hours), I laminated the sheet, weeded easily and applied transfer tape. Applied decal to waiting surface. However, when removing the transfer, it separated the color print from the vinyl, rendering the decal useless.

Printed again and allowed to dry overnight. Same steps but color again separated from the vinyl. Printer used is Canon TS3522 inkjet. Oracal/Oraguard and transfer tape all fresh material. Canon ink may be incompatible with this product but was worth a try.

I recently purchased Oracal Inkjet Printable Permanent Adhesive Vinyl and Oraguard UV Laminating Film and I’m happy to say these products far exceeded my expectations. As soon as I received them, I set out to test the quality by printing a decal, covering it with the laminate film and then placing it on a table on my front porch.

I live in New York, and for the past four weeks, we’ve had temps as high as the 80s and 90s, extremely high humidity, and rain almost every day. At times we had torrential downpours and severe storm conditions.

The decal still looks as good as when I placed it outside four weeks ago. The colors are bright, and there’s been no fading or bleeding of ink. No water has gone underneath the laminate film. I should also note that I used an Epson XP-850 inkjet printer, as I’m sure that has also contributed to the amazing look of the decal.

I highly recommend these products.

As someone who typically isn’t a brand specific person, I had another brand of Printable HTV and Laminate on hand and “tried” to use it for a customers order. It was an epic fail. Thankfully I had already placed my order for the Oracal Inkjet Printable Vinyl and the laminate, because I thought I was out.

After the fail of the other brand name product, I was very hesitant to try again and was seriously contemplating using a waterslide decal in its place. I am so glad I gave this a try! This printable vinyl was fantastic!!! The colors were better and the ink adhesion was better too! I had no problem with my order after switching brands.

Oracal for the win. I am now going to stick with this brand for good. As always Swing Design has outstanding customer service!.

I used this with a Cricut Maker 3. Smart vinyl is designed for the new machines so you don’t need to use a mat. The Design Space program helps you automatically select “smart vinyl removable” so it knows how much pressure to apply when cutting.

This product takes all the guess work out. If you have smaller leftover pieces, you can use it on a mat to get the most of your vinyl. I have used this product multiple times with no issues and will continue to purchase it.

I really enjoy the shimmer vinyl. I have used this as a second layer design and it turned out nice. What I will say is be careful because it comes with a strong transfer paper, so if you are using this in layers be careful how you peel it off because everything will come with it.

That was the only issue I ran into and that’s more in my part vice the product. It’s a great product and looks so good when it’s applied.

I love how convenient the Cricut Joy Permanent Smart vinyl is for my everyday projects! I find myself needing a tiny bit of vinyl cut, for smaller projects, quite frequently. I love that I can just slide my vinyl into my Cricut Joy and have what I need in just a matter of seconds.

This vinyl is easy to work with, and comes in a wide variety of colors too! The Cricut program makes it easy to load and unload your materials. I would recommend this product to others!.

So I did a review prior about how this product did not meet my needs due to supply shortage of the product I needed bud Michaels denied it. Hoping this can be posted so the company can properly stock their materials.

I needed the regular vinyl but it was not available so I purchased the Joy size and the material itself seemed poorer than the regular CRICUT vinyl. it also is more expensive when you compare roll sizes.

I’ve been considering a Cricut Joy for awhile now, so when I received a Michaels sale email that included Cricut machines, I couldn’t pass it up. This little machine is amazing. Now that I’ve caught the Cricut bug, no doubt down the road I will likely purchase one of the larger machines; maybe add it to my Christmas List.

Received in a timely manner and correct product shipped. Product received was not as pictured/described. Pictured described as metallic copper but item, was dull w/o metallic luster and faded more toward gold rather than copper (lacked the pinkish tone of copper).

Sent in clear photo to demo difference in product color with copper (copper salt shaker, mirror and penny). Company refused to acknowledge the damaged product and said only return option was for me to pay return shipping.

I purchased a sheet of the same color from another company and the luster and color was correctly received in their product. I do not recommend ordering or purchase from Swing as they do not stand behind product or send a quality shipment.

Good product offerings. The pages for each vinyl could be clearer. The picture didn’t always update so I was a little unsure whether I was getting the right length and colors. Also, when the packaged arrived it was in a box marker “24” by 150ft roll” and I had ordered 2 12″ rolls.

Found them nicely stacked, but definitely had a mini heart attack. Otherwise very pleasant and straight forward.

This item came in a cardboard tube, not the box that it shows in the picture. The vinyl itself was damaged on one end of the role so the only way I could use it is to cut 1/4 inch off the end. It was damaged during shipping, but unfortunately theres nothing to really prevent this from happening.

Ive ordered hundreds of vinyl From different sites and none of them were damaged.

This purchase was for 2 rolls of Oracal 651 black glossy vinyl. This vinyl is one that I often use and I love the quality however, rather than the vinyl alone, it’s Swing Design that keeps me coming back.

I have had nothing but great experiences with them — they are friendly and easy to work with, customer service is great, response time to questions is quick, they often have great specials and bundles, they ship quickly, and they have a good variety and stock of products.

oramask is the best stencil vinyl i have tried ive tried alot before comming back to 813 stencil vinyl. i use it on the guitar s i refinish and custom paint. if you go to us cutter it states that its ment for non solvent based aplaations they do make a solvent rrsistant mask i thinkit 811 814 i triedthe one its white and its opaqe you cannot see through it ublike 813 so you can layer it for multi color art work.

what i likw about is you do not need a light box to weeed it you can see the cut line plan as day and it tay s on the backing paper better than ant=y othr stencil vinyl i hav etried and it does not tear unless its ben on the shelf in the whare house for a whilre yes the vinyl has a shelf life.

, now with that you cannot use it on stretched cavas it will not stcik to it ive tried and ive done the putthe books behoinmd and no go. i ended up useing cabvas borad it worrks the only issue i have had is with createx autro air acrylic paint if i shot a multi colord picture graphic once the firstcolor is on no ,atter what i doid the vinyl fot the other layer wou;d not stick.

now for you all havingoissues and tissues buy the right transfer tape for oramnask 813 and for shilouette users bugyh the 2. 0 blade holder or the grasphtec one they are both aftermarlet blade holders that use 3 diff angled blades for diff cuts.

now the 2. 0- is actually beetter in my opinion b3ecause you can use just abpout any blade on the market roland ,cricit if the cutter uses the same style blades ypou caN USE IT IN THE CAMEO. i havre found that the aftermarket blades and holder work best for the stencil vinyl i have a cameo 3 set to maual or the 1mm blade 10 to 9 for preassure then i have found the 4 as he speee works best for the more itracit cuts.

I have had my cricut about a month now and have used various different vinyl. from cricut brand to Starcraft to Siser & Oracal. This oracal one is by far the absolute WORST vinyl I have used yet and I do NOT recommend it, even if its $1!! I am now on my 5th attempt to get this Christmas cookie plate made today bc this vinyl refuses to cut.

Besides the fact it is very difficult to work with, I try to weed it and it does not detach or it just stretches passed salvable. No matter what cut setting I set it to, it did not cut through and I am forced to have to firmly try and detach the words from the excess which leads to my project being completely ruined every time.

So angry that I bought more of this garbage before realizing what a huge pile of crap it is! In my picture, you can visibly see how my candy candy inner is no longer in its right position and the words have dig marks because of how hard I had to push to detach it from the excess.

You can also see how it did not cut through. I have put the setting on different materials and even tried doing a deeper cut. Some said they had luck with the Washi setting but the photo I attached here is of that setting.

clearly it did not work. this stuff is garbage. dont buy it.
