20 Best Virtual Pinball Machine (2022 Updated)

My family and I are really enjoying this in our home. We like to compete and set new high scores for the other to try and top. Better then expected game play all around. The pinball plays like the real thing.

The screens, buttons, ball launcher, cabinet and audio quality is superb. Best 1up machine yet. We also have Pacman, NBA-Jam and street fighter game system units. The 10 games on the Star Wars Pinball are based on the entire Star Wars series.

If your a Star Wars fan you will love the themes, music and commentary with animation visual graphics that look very realistic and impressive. The Game Play multi ball is just as exciting in comparison to a physical machine given the built in physics engine with the given pinball dynamics.

its better then a physical pinball machine in many ways. Suchas compact, multiple games all in one, much less expensive to purchase and way less moving parts. We were unsure based on some other reviews but decided it looked good enough to try.

The result was this is the most fun experience in our home arcade ever. Also takes me and others back to the child hood arcade days, without all the quarters.

This pinball table is amazing! I love being able to switch between different tables and the sounds and haptic feedback really make it an immersive experience. You can even nudge the table and even set off the tilt sensor if you do it too hard or often.

Yes I know that some will dismiss these because it’s not a real pinball but these are not only a fraction of the price, they take up less room and being able to switch tables really increases the replay value.

Plus, it just looks awesome. This is now the most played video game in the house.

Is it as satisfying as an actual pinball machine? No, but it’s still enjoyable to play, more fun than a simulator pinball machine using a joystick. It’s sturdy, but didn’t take too long to assemble (and I’m a dullard who takes forever to even put together simple Ikea shelves).

Only played it a handful of times but it’s soothing and even a little nostalgic. And even though the real thing is better, I’ll never have to worry about trying to replace a million individual parts, and of course it’c cheaper than most actual pinball machines unless you get a great deal on a used one.

Fantastic product that has already provided hours of fun for us. I’ve been skeptical of some of Arcade1Up’s products seeing them in stores but, the build quality here seems very impressive. The cabinet is great, backlight is very cool and the plunger and flippers really help with the illusion that you’re playing the real thing.

The 10 games are all different and worthwhile which is a plus over an electro-mechanical game. The fact that it’s digital pinball also allows a lot of non-real but, very fun things to happen, like Mr Fantastic stretching and taking pinballs off the playing field as part of a side mission.

The high score listings for each game keep the multi-player competition going. It does take about 30-45 minutes to put together but, the packaging is ingenious and comes with a relatively simple bag of parts that work like they should with instructions that are mostly pictures and mostly very easy to follow.

The legs to the machine are especially impressive. We’ve had and used this for about 3 weeks and so far it’s everything we hoped.

Very fun machine with ten different pinball themes available. The gameplay is reasonably close to that of a real pinball machine and fun enough that I sometimes play for hours. The assembly instructions were the best of any product that I have ever purchased, and all parts (including the fasteners) were very clearly labeled.

Assembly took just under one hour; and it is possible for one person to accomplish that as long as they can lift 90 pounds and rotate it 1/4 turn. I would suggest that the instructions include a link to strategy guides for the 10 games to save time searching for those on the internet.

I am actually thinking of someday purchasing another Arcade1Up machine with 10 new themes. That will be down the road a bit as I am still mastering the 10 themes that are on this one.

We own all 3 A1up V-Pins, but we purchased them at the previous price between 599 – 649. The volume and controls are absolutely TERRIBLE! No on screen indicator of where the volume is, and also very inconsistent/buggy when trying to find an acceptable or stable volume level.

I’ve already had to contact support to replace a fan on Marvel that was VERY loud and failing. And now it appears the other 2 are showing signs of the same problem. The 720p graphics leaves much to be desired in 2021 with 4k and UHD top of the line console gaming systems that can play thousands of games for hundreds less.

The graphics/colors appear to look washed out, and there is no settings to adjust contrast or brightness either. The plexiglass they use over the display leaves a visible effect of lines through the screen is also very easy to scratch, should’ve been made out of tempered glass.

The top display for the scoreboard only uses maybe half of the screen while leaving a black bar on top and below the display. There are also known bugs with some of the other A1UP tables which they have promised to patch and resolve, and still to this day nothing.

Buyer beware these tables are not a good value at $849! There is no justification for a 50% price increase without fixing the above listed in advance. Why these are being listed as V-Pin II is also very concerning and seems dishonest.

The only thing that changed was the price tag!.

The set of pinball games on this table is awesome – it includes so legendary game, including Medieval Madness, commonly viewed as the greatest pinball game of all time. The high scores are challenging and keep you coming back for more.

The haptic feedback from the solenoids combined with the terrific artwork makes it feel like pinball. A great value for what you get. Note that they are working on a patch to correct for some issues, notably with the Whitewater game, but even without that, this is hours of fun for all ages – kids, parents, and grandparents alike.

A couple of months after buying it at Best Buy, and it still gets daily use.

This is so fun. sounds just like the real game. I love the electronic game play and the fact it doesn’t take up the same amount of space as the big pinball machines. Easy to move around, great for competition and parties.

Pros: I love the virtual mode as it gives pinball a kind of video game feel while still keeping that real pinball feel. Cons: The graphics have an almost white florescent haze to it that dulls the colors a bit.

I got my hands on the pinball machine because I own an ATGAMES arcade and love it! Never had any problems. The pinball machine on the other hand…not so much. I got the pinball machine and everything was packaged nicely.

Nice real issues other than some debris that was under the glass of the table. ATGAMES customer service told me how to remove the glass in order to clean the debris. GREAT! So I fired the machine up and all of the stock games are great, HOWEVER, the vibrating mechanics on the table are HORRIBLE.

If you don’t believe me just google “ATGAMES pinball buzzing (or rattling). You will then be taken to several YouTube videos and reddits on certain settings you have to tweak to minimize the rattle (NOT ELIMINATE IT).

Why aren’t these settings stock? Fast forward 36 days after purchase and the top display starts to flicker. I get ahold of ATGAMES customer service again and they run me through some steps to troubleshoot.

Nothing works so I replied back as such…Hours later the top display goes out all together (black screen). Mind you, this is 36 days after purchase…. I asked ATGAMES to help with a warranty fix or additional steps to troubleshoot.

They reply with some additional steps (removing ribbon cables and re connecting, etc), they also asked for my purchase information for the warranty and when they found out I was 6 days past the 30 day warranty, YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!! Only 30 day warranty on a major electronic purchase, they refused to help further and told me to take it back to Sam’s club.

What a crock of crap, a company that does not stand behind their product that has known issues. On some tables the speakers actually buzz on low volumes too and their customer support verified this is “normal”.

This machine price really reflects the quality. cheap…take it as you want but I won’t be purchasing from these guys again. Thankfully Sam’s club stepped in to make it right.

Has potential. The biggest gripe for me is the audio. The exciters by the flippers vibrate and rattle the plastic board they are on terribly making the gameplay disappointing and for some boards, near impossible.

I am handy and there are methods to dampen the vibration, which involve opening the unit and applying fixes. However for the price of the unit, one shouldn’t have to run mods just to make the sound “acceptable”.

This really requires a re-engineer at the manufacturer level. To further disappoint me, the 2 screws on the left of the plastic unit that needs to be removed to attempt any audio fixes were severely over torqued off production and the nuts no longer stay in place making it difficult to remove the piece and will most likely fail, making the whole issue even worse down the road.

Realistically my unit should not have left the factory but unfortunately I don’t have the time or means to exchange it right now. Aside from the audio issues, the graphics are great and the flippers responsive.

Maneuvering across the many menus is not very fluid. The included boards are very ho-hum and you almost have to download new boards out of the gate to get enjoyment from the machine and cross your fingers that better boards will be released in the future.

Biggest question is the audio and the exciters. Are you able to open the cabinet to perform fixes and mods to improve the audio? If not I would be cautious.

Although I think this alot of promise to be a fun machine, I’ve encountered two very serious flaws that that has greatly diminished my enthusiasm. First, straight out of the box was the very poor design of the haptics system.

They inexplicably routed the main audio sound to the haptics and now the machine randomly nudges and sometimes tilts on its own when not even playing a ball just from the music audio. Although many others have been experiencing and reporting this online, their tech support has no idea how to fix it.

Second, while trying to fix the haptics issue, the entire backglass LCD has completely died and they won’t fix it because they said it has nothing to do with the haptics issues and the machine is beyond it’s ridiculously short 30-day warranty! Buyer beware.

This product is another great miniature arcade machine from Super Impact. While not as small as their Tiny Arcade machines, it’s still something you can have on your desk, or fit in your bag, and play for a few minutes.

Also, unlike the Tiny Arcade machines, this thing will save high scores. It also has two set of flipper buttons, a set on the front as you would expect, and another set behind the machine, which work nicely depending on how you’re holding this.

This seems to be a replica of the full sized Ninja Turtles pinball machine by Data East, but other than the marquee, the sounds and board are not replicated here. But given the miniature size, the need for digital screens, and possible licensing issues (as Data East is not listed in the copyright), this is close enough, and I look forward to see what other pinball machines they try to make in this scale.

Had to get this for my little bro; he loves TMNT! Works just great, sound is good, and so are the visuals. Very cute and fun to play with. We’ve had this for about 8 months now, and it’s still as good as new! Would most definitely recommend.

For the price you cant beat it!..I’ve always enjoyed pinball…even though it’s real small it’s still really entertaining!

This game came fully assembled & was easy to insert the batteries. After they were inserted it was easy to learn how to use the game. For such a small machine it gives a decent feel like a real pinball experience with the vibrations and bumper noises.

Overall, I would say that this toy gives a lot of bang for the buck. And after observing my grandchild who received the gift it was fairly easy to learn how to play.

Tabletop pinball. Lots of action and lights, with a digital points display of highest score. Gave it to a 6 yr old boy. He loved it, but his older brothers liked it too!Would recommend for a great indoor toy that is NOT a screen! Does need batteries, no plug in option.

Also comes with decals to addon.

Never ever will I use again 7 weeks to get two toys very badly damaged and 1 toy lost in Australia post!! Bad communication still waiting on refund for lost toy and no answers from emails for weeks each email I send So very bad in every way !!!!! Not the way to run a business May not be there fault about the post but reply to emails and refund my money!!! I took out the insurance lucky I think but still hasn’t got my money back yet.

For a long time, I considered this purchase. I like the idea of a 3/4-sized table that I can move. I like the idea of pinball as a video game rather than trying to maintain hard-to-replace physical parts.

I knew the Arcade1Up machines had 720p screens rather than 1080i. While this bothered me, I couldn’t find something better in the same price range. The most important piece was the 10 Williams tables, including Attack From Mars, considered one of the best-ever pinball designs.

I’ve had this machine for four weeks now. I immediately applied the software patch, so all the games are working and I have not run into any lag issues. The flippers appear to work as they should (lag can manifest as a ball appearing to pass through a flipper).

I liked the thought of solenoids giving the machine the sound and feel of flipper and bumper use, but the noise ended up being a bit too loud, so I turned it off. I ran into one issue with the software update.

The port on the back of the machine was a bit finicky on accepting its male USB counterpart. Luckily, I found a short cable with the housing surrounding the male end shaved down enough to fit. The update itself went smoothly with the recommended software.

The accelerometer that came with the machine (Arcade1Up calls it a G-Sensor) wasn’t working, firing a constant “tilt” warning when the machine wasn’t being touched. Support was helpful and quickly sent a new G-Sensor, which is easily installed.

That worked for about a week, then started to malfunction, though not as constantly. As of now, I can still “nudge” the table, but only when the nudge setting is low, and I’m not too confident the machine will hold up to the beating, so I’m not really using it.

The machine comes mainly as a constructed box with the screen and body. You attach the four legs with screws. You build the backglass from pieces of MDF board and plexiglass, and attach it to the main CPU board with wires, then use screws to secure the backglass to the machine.

It’s a fairly simple build and the components fit together well. While I don’t want to test the legs by banging the machine around to nudge it, it seems otherwise sturdy enough for home use. The machine comes with a plexiglass sheet over the screen.

This distorts the view a bit – plexiglass is a poor choice here, though it saves a bit of weight and is less fragile. I had a local glass shop cut a 16 1/4″ by 23 1/4″ (1/4″ thickness, standard seam edge) pane of tempered glass, which fit perfectly in place of the plexiglass and looks much nicer.

There are online sources for glass panes specifically made for Arcade1Up pinball machines, but for about three times as much as I paid to have it done locally. I would say that switching to tempered glass adds about as much value as it would for Arcade1Up to switch to a 1080i screen.

Having both would be wonderful. If not for the accelerometer issue, I’d say this machine is well worth the current sale price ($599). A cheap component, but for whatever reason (every smart phone has them – and they have to work perfectly), whether it’s saving a few dollars and getting inferior components or it’s just that the software (even patched) doesn’t calibrate them properly, it seems like a common issue with these machines.

Of the tables, I find myself playing Attack From Mars, Medieval Madness and Getaway a lot. Some of the other tables are pretty, but I don’t think as well implemented in the software, with center drains too common on basic shots (and with nudge not working, that’s a game-breaker).

There are software animations for some of the tables. Thankfully, they can be turned off, as they are dreadful, non-pinball-like visual atrocities. Other simple software issues: I wish the pre-set high scores could be erased, and I wish they could be viewed after multi-player games.

The boot-up and table-load functions take a long time (boot-up is 40 seconds), but that’s a common issue with emulators. All in all, I think I’m happy with this purchase. I didn’t expect it to be perfect.

I hope there’s a second patch to allow better G-Sensor calibration, but it’s been so long after this machine was released and Arcade1Up doesn’t seem to be adding more pinball machines that I don’t think it will happen.

This pinball machine is amazing. I finally got to play it with my grandson and it was sooooo fun. I think there are six or seven different games and the action is very close to playing a real pinball machine.

I’m very tempted to buy one for myself, but the wife wouldn’t like it (“we have no place to put it”). Anyway, I’m going to have to find an excuse to spend more time at my daughters house. Seriously the graphics are very good and each game is different and present a different challenge.

The size is perfect – big enough to play like a full size machine, small enough to fit in any room without being intrusive.

Just got this yesterday and I say it’s awesome! Beautiful artwork. A very solid peice, looks great and feels sturdy. The images could use a bit of an upgrade but once you start your run, it doesn’t matter that much, what matters are the controls and fun factor.

The controls are great, as tight as you can expect from a digital machine. The sound is amazing and the feed back from the controls are as close as it comes to real pinball. Most of the tables are fun but a couple are lacking.

Overall, if you love pinball and marvel I think you’ll be as pleased as I am.

Delivery was spot on. Easy to put together and the game play is awesome! We purchased this for the kids but we all can’t stop playing it. So much fun. The response from the flippers is really good and the graphics and sound quality is amazing.

I was impressed by the size, I though it would be smaller a look cheaper. It’s a perfect size for the home and build quality is fantastic. We love and will be buying a couple of arcade units soon.

I am very impressed with the build quality of the pinball machine. I own several other A1up cabs and I will say the Star Wars pinball is the highest quality unit yet! After a smooth and easy to navigate interface, game play is pretty darn immersive (The only odd thing is you need to choose a language every time you turn on the machine which is weird).

The ball movement is realistic and I love the haptic feedback for the bumper hits, etc. I will say as much as I’ve heard about the screen size, I didn’t realize any issue with the smaller screen. You get so into the games and they’re so much fun, it doesn’t matter.

Would it have been nice to see: 1) A 1080P display? 2) A larger screen? 3) A nudge feature that is more sensitive? 4) Internet connectivity? 5) Full use of the upper display? Of course those would have been nice.

But for the price this is a pretty impressive machine that is providing hours of fun for my entire family. i’d definitely recommend it.

While I had read about the Star Wars pinball before purchasing I was hoping it was as good as the reviews. Oh boy love this pinball- took one person about an hour to assemble following the very clear instructions.

10 games so much fun sooo addictive love it. Takes me straight back to teens at the local skating rink. Now I have my very own which I have wanted for many many years. Thanks for easy process and pretty quick delivery.

You do need 2 people to lift box but once assembled 2 can move it easily. Could put in car and take to friends home for a night of fun.

I really want to like this product, but it’s just not ready to be worth the $550 price tag. The monitor is quite poor and has a low refresh rate when compared to modern laptop and desktop monitors. The sound is quite good.

The games don’t utilize the full screen between the speakers, it’s like the signal is squished. The artwork and cabinet are pretty good. Finally, the games included just aren’t that compelling and don’t feel like physical pinball games.

This machine plays great!!! I have 2 real pinballs, gottlieb’s arena and Stern’s Galaxy. So, my views of atgames legends pinball come from someone who knows pinball. There is no lag on flipper shots! The included gottlieb tables are okay, not my faves but play fine.

The Zaccaria and taito tables are graphically a little better. My only real complaint would be the tables are set for free play. try for high score, in real pinball, the goal is winning free games either by hitting the specials or hitting the set score for free game.

I really enjoy playing pinball arcade 2 on my PS4 system. The graphics, lights and sounds are great! One of the best pinball games I have ever played. Somebody needs to put the rest of the seasons on a disc and I will purchase them.

Has a lot of different tables to play with different challenges. Good collection of pinball games. If you like pinball you should really like this game. Will be playing for a long time!! Over all a great value for the price!.

This machine is amazing! An awesome virtual pinball machine, especially for the price. For anyone wondering, if you order this you WILL get the new, updated v1. 2 cab. It not only has the new 1. 2 board for 60fps gameplay and virtually no flipper lag anymore.

But it also comes with a new bezel, and new plunger. The new bezel is half gray, half black, looks MUCH better in my opinion. And the plunger looks the same but is a little bigger than the original one, feels much better and easier to grab.

The promo art for the listing is WRONG! Again, you will get the new 1. 2 version with new bezel, not how it looks in the pictures. I hope this helps anyone! It can be hard to find answers for this machine online.

You won’t be disappointed!.

Was really looking forward to adding this to my home arcade with 7 Arcase 1up machines in it. Now I am just really looking forward to standing in the return line to get my money back. The worst part for me is, the scoreboard doesn’t work, lights won’t come on any of the scores.

I have triple checked the wires connecting to them and they are all secure. The only possible problem is with the power cable itself running into the machine, which I cannot replace nor fix myself. The rest of the pinball machine works so I can actually play the games, just never know my score.

If the machine wasn’t defective I would have kept it. The reason I’m not exchanging it for a replacement is because I was not impressed with the game play at all. There seems to be a lag between pressing the flipper buttons and having them flip I’m not use to on a real pinball machine.

I actually found myself thinking the pinball game I have for my Xbox One is more realistic in play and feel. I think the pinball game idea is amazing and the selection of games are nice (but not the best title choices ever).

I would have kept it had it worked since mine doesn’t I’ll gladly just go get a refund and buy another Arcade 1up instead.

Very poorly designed pinball. Playing field looks nice, but it is extremely boring to play. Stern needs to do better! I own many pinball machines, and Stern is just pushing out pin after pin. I don’t think they put much time or thought into their playfield layout.

They’re too busy trying to make different editions or versions of the same game, “pro, premium, limited”, adding features to one and removing features from another, and less time just making one great pin.

The market for older pinball games are skyrocketing, because these newer pins are boring to play.

This is turned out to be my favorite machine I have three other Stearns and a jersey Jack and both of the other Elviras. It is so fast so fun and I cannot explain in words what my wife and I feel about About it we play it every night after she gets home from work she doesnt even wanna sit down and relax she wants to play so do I thats how much fun it is keep up the great work Danny Moore I even have the two banks from 1996 that I saved and they are my toppers and they look great and they match the game perfectly thanks again.

I must honestly say i was surprised when the pinball machine arrived. I was not expecting it to be too spectacular. When i tried it for the first time it Amazed me. It’s fun, real sound effects, keeps scores ,high quality product and brings much enjoyment to my family.

I purchased this for our little game room and I couldn’t be happier! It’s much smaller than expected but that makes it easier to move around and to find a place for it. It works great and my teen and I both are enjoying it.

The only downside is that you cannot turn sound off (no biggie though) and that it doesn’t store your scores. Neither of this are huge problems though and we still love playing this.

This is a well designed, attractive, and durable pinball machine that has all of the bells and whistles of the big boys. It quickly reflects the total points. My 6 and 10 year old grand children love playing it.

It met all of our expectations.

I got this for my nine year old nephew’s birthday. The directions were a little hard to understand, and I had to redo a few steps because they weren’t super clear. But over all it’s a well designed product.

I put the body together and my nephew designed the game board. It was fun to do together, and took about an hour. The simple mechanics of how it works are really impressive and he loves playing on it.

My son had a lot of fun with this but it was too difficult to follow the instructions correctly. Also it is supposed to have some sort of shapes to put on top of the pinball machine but they were all two-dimensional.

They’re just should have been a better instruction sheet or video. Somehow despite his frustration he really loves it.

My husband had such a great time putting this together with my nephew (age 14) that I bought another one for him. It is super cool and now both of them can have a blast. It does take time to assemble, though, and I cannot imagine that a 7-9 year old could do it in two hours with adult help.

It took a 14 and 37 year old 90 minutes just to get the basic structure/mechanisms set up. so leave some time for set up! But it is totally worth it!.
